守中 Shou Zhong Aus- und Weiterbildungszentrum für Chinesische Medizin: what do users think?

Alex Finkle: I studied acupuncture and the basic training in Chinese medicine here for 3 years and would have continued to study if I had not left Berlin. It is an amazing school where you gain so much insight and depth of knowledge in a short time. The teaching team is made up of highly skilled and experienced practitioners who all have their own practices as well as teaching at the school. They bring a wealth of real-life knowledge to the training program. The school clinic allows the students to gain many hours of experience whilst under supervision and people on lower incomes can take advantage of this and get treatments at a reduced cost. As a student, practicing at the student clinic under supervision was one of my absolute highlights, because I was able to see the power of the medicine working, despite my being a novice. I feel totally ready and equipped to start a practice of my own now from what I learned in the course. I am a native English speaker but despite the majority of the course being in the German language I was able to understand the course content. Many of the text books are in English also so non-native speakers of German who are curious to study Chinese medicine can definitely manage the course.

Julia Dippl: The diverse skills at the school made me confident in the use of acupuncture. Many thanks to the whole team

miriamiris: I've been studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy at Shou Zhong for 4.5 years and couldn't wish for a better place to study. In 2015 I decided to study Chinese medicine and even moved to Beijing to study at the university there. On site, it turned out that the conditions were anything but ideal and I couldn't complete a five-year apprenticeship there. I was flexible about where I lived and then looked for the best TCM school in the world. The universities in the USA and UK are certainly great, but for me they were far beyond what I could afford financially. According to my research, the best affordable school that offers a world-class education is Shou Zhong in Berlin. The school inspired me from the very first moment and that hasn't changed until now, almost 5 years, two training courses and some further training later. The big advantages: - A team of teachers that is diverse and thus brings together very different styles and focuses so that you can benefit from everyone. Most of them have years and decades of teaching experience, know their way around didactically and have studied in China. - A great curriculum that - among other things - is based on the seasons in the first year and explains them with all their facets according to Chinese medicine and makes them tangible - and includes all important areas and topics of Chinese medicine over the course of the three-year acupuncture/basic training: Qi Gong, Tui Na, pulse, tongue and abdominal diagnosis, Japanese meridian therapy, Moxa, Gua Sha, energetic work and various acupuncture styles. Ideas that loosen up the curriculum are a visit to the botanical garden in Berlin to get to know the Chinese herbs 'live' and a visit to a pharmacy for Chinese herbs. - Beautiful and always well-kept premises with a large kitchen, bright classrooms and treatment rooms (this is important to me if I spend a lot of time and long weekends at the school) - A great atmosphere, in class and outside of it. I made some friends for life there. - The outpatient clinic: Both in herbal and acupuncture training, you complete a one-year (in the two-year herbal training) or two-year (in the three-year acupuncture training) outpatient clinic during which students treat patients under the supervision of the teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice for later practice and to make the (unavoidable) mistakes from which you learn the most in a safe environment. As far as I know, no other school offers this to the same extent (except in China, of course ;-)). If you're wondering if you should study at this school and think it's a bit expensive, I felt the same way at first. Compare how many hours of practice and outpatient clinic you get, how many teachers let you share their knowledge, how well the school is networked throughout Germany via AGTCM and also internationally (e.g. cooperation with TCM Uni in Chengdu) and you will probably come to the conclusion like me, that the investment is always worthwhile. Especially since the school is not more expensive than others from this perspective. And do you really want to go by price when choosing the school that will teach you the tools of the trade for the job you are passionate about doing for the rest of your life? Then rather 30 euros more per month and thus completely happy :) I know a few students who did their training at other schools and now came to us as a career changer. Save yourself that and grab the Ferrari among the German-speaking TCM schools ;-)

Annette Moll: I first experienced this school as a patient (treated by students in the acupuncture classes). Even then, the professionalism of the maturing therapists struck me as very positive, and thanks to the supervision by experienced and very dedicated teachers, I always felt well looked after. Above all, the treatments were an excellent help against my permanent sinusitis! Later I became a student of Chinese medicine myself: I completed the acupuncture and medicine training at the Shou Zhong, and also learned Tuina. Those were very intense, instructive and wonderful years - and a solid foundation for starting my own Chinese medicine practice. Thanks to all!

sabine g: The best place to get to know the diversity of Chinese medicine, but also to deepen it in depth - absolute recommendation!

MSB Medical School Berlin: what do users think?

Kjell J.: I'm studying psychology here myself and I'm positively surprised by the university! With the exception of the exams, the organization is excellent and improvements are constantly being made to the exams. The dean of my faculty (natural sciences), Ms. Winkelmann, is doing a great job! I can recommend studying here.

Line: I'll correct my initially good rating after I got to know the MSB better. Mass student operation After a while you first notice that the MSB takes in far too many students (we are around 200 in the MASTER's course). In the seminar you sit with 35 people, sometimes there are not enough chairs and tables for everyone... Accordingly, the lecturers do not know us and often do not manage to answer e-mails due to the number. There are not enough staff for the number of students... The MSB building looks magnificent at first glance, unfortunately there is not enough space. You just can't find a study room and sometimes students sit on the floor or in the basement. The seminars are largely designed by us through presentations and at the same time attendance is compulsory... Unfortunately, the university does not have the flexibility, organization and social skills. And you pay a very high monthly fee for all of this.

Ani Ka: Originally I wanted to give five stars because I have nothing to complain about professionally or on the part of the lecturers. Great university, but I'm here for the third year now and I have to say... Unfriendly to families... if you're sick and want to participate online, you're left alone, even though the technical conditions are there... A lot of money for little service and zero Support, it's hardly a consolation that there is a "Get well soon" under every rejection... Greetings with irony... As a part-time student, you're on your own at the weekend... There's a lack of toilet paper and something like the canteen is out of the question... It's a shame, it's a shame, chocolate... I wouldn't choose the university a second time decide!

Jim Paaschburg: I studied psychology at the MSB and cannot make any recommendations. An advantage offered by private studies is the unlimited capacity of students. If the requirements are met (high school diploma and available liquidity) you can start studying without any problems. In retrospect, I am of the opinion that it is very irresponsible to send the very young people, in particular, into psychology student existence without suitable selection procedures/tests. It is not without reason that state universities have a high NC. It takes a lot of hard work, patience and/or a bit of intelligence if you want to study psychology. I myself became mentally ill during my studies and was not alone. There is pressure to perform and there are almost no semester breaks. The schedule is extremely tight and you only actually study when you want to stay on the ball. I am very surprised that in a subject like psychology, more help and attention is not given to the students in this regard. That made me feel alone. Many had mental struggles due to the high demands and tight schedules. The first semesters in particular are mostly dry and filled with statistics, research methods and the like, you should know that. The lecturers were mostly good (mostly!), the organizations were sometimes poor. You get the semester plan dictated and have few elective modules, so it's more like a school than a university. Most recently, there was an 80% attendance requirement. The profitability of the company is the top priority and so I had to pay semester fees even though I was no longer studying (thank you very much). So decide for yourself, but don't be so naive and let yourself be blinded by the oh so great career prospects as a psychologist, it's an incredibly rocky and long road to get there. Much luck

Marie Kristin: The university itself is ok. The exams are doable and you don't have to worry about a lot yourself. Unfortunately it is very schooly, no possibility to choose courses etc. The lecturers are not the best. During Corona the schedule changes from day to day; very nerve-wracking when you have to work and/or have a family, but unfortunately the university doesn't help you there. For most students, however, this is not a problem as many are quite privileged.

Carl Carlsson: The MSB advertises that it is practical. Unfortunately, at least the lecturers can convey that. Mr. Ketteler, Ms. Friedmann or Mr. Pryzibilla (who is unfortunately gone) were the big exceptions. Everything else very theoretical and dry. The organization and communication is bad. The Stura moves little, there are no political ambitions. The atmosphere is ok in itself, there are of course the typical private students as you imagine them but also enough normal mortal beings. The library is relatively small, but at least they are working on it. All in all ok.

Thomas Franck (Thomas Franck Immobilien): First impression from outside and inside at the counter, very good! We keep our fingers crossed for the new course!

Franky: MSB - This school receives a moderate bad rating. Everything is different here, you pay and pay regardless of Corona, deadlines and agreements, etc. I advise everyone against enrolling at this university. They only cash in on you! CAUTION, in the end you are disappointed and sad.

Havin S.: am now in the second semester and can only recommend the MSB to everyone. Mostly very nice lecturers, great university management, nice campus and interesting content :)

Günther Jonitz: Broad-based university with dedicated teachers

Akupunktur Berlin Kreuzberg Dagmar Amtmann: what do users think?

Federica Biagini: Ms. Amtmann is an experienced professional who demonstrated a hand-on approach to my pathology. She welcomed me warmly and invested time and attention in understanding my anamnesis well. She proposed the Liebscher & Bracht therapy, that showed to be the best choice for my situation. After only one session and while practicing a number of exercises she showed me I can say that the visit was extremely beneficial and I would highly recommend Dagmar Amtmann as a one of the most trustworthy Liebscher & Bracht specialists in town.
Response: Thank you very much for the detailed feedback! Best regards and good luck!

Marina Antonova: Dagmar really helped me with my stomach problems and knee pains that I had for 10 years and that previous akupunkture specialists or traditional medicine couldn’t help with, she speaks great English and seems to really know what she’s doing, I highly recommend!
Response: Thanks a lot for your recomandation. I am so glad to be able to help you! Always do my best to help my clients. Best wishes for you iand I am here for you if need anything! Dagmar A.

Lorenzo Di Girolamo: Since few months I am suffering of CMD (Craniomandibular Dysfunction) and the acupuncture sessions with Mrs. Amtmann helped me a lot to relax the muscles of my face and neck that were really tight. After the first session, the pain decreased a lot and the muscles began to relax.
Response: Thank you so much for your feedback. Wish you a very good tour, health and a happy new year!

Jelle de Bruijn: Dagmar helped me a lot with my neck and back problems. She is very competent, her knwoledge is very good and the atmosphere is nice and comfortable. I would highly recommend her! All the best, gr. Jelle
Response: Thank you very much for your recommandation! Wish you all the best an a wonderful time.

Clare Goldblatt: Frau Amtmann has helped me a lot with my long list of body discomforts and complaints, including those related to digestion, sinuses, joint pain, sleeping problems, anxiety and fatigue. Especially those related to digestion issues—no doctor has been able to help me in the past, so I’ve been really grateful to have seen those improve drastically over the past few months. She’s also a a nice person who’s super professional and really listens to what your ailments are. I’d recommend her to anyone who has any bodily complaint—I’m sure she could help you!
Response: Thank you very much for the detailed rating. I am very happy about the successes achieved. Best regards from Dagmar A,

Neva N: I visited Dagmar's practice multiple times, during two different periods (the first one of which was a very rough time for me), and was very happy with her treatments on all occasions. Apart from the classic acupuncture she also did ear-acupuncture and ordered a mix of herbs for me, all of which I found very helpful. I had never gone through acupuncture treatments before but will continue to get them every now and then for the rest of my life following this initial experience. I could really feel the improvements from the combination of Dagmar's treatments and would definitely recommend her practice.

Yuki Perry: I cannot thank Dr. Amtmann enough. After having consulted numerous doctors and dermatologists over the course of a year and a half, I was prescribed a whole host of medicines (both topical and oral) that over time made my skin and Acne worse. As my last hope, I decided to take the natural route and started weekly acupuncture sessions with Dagmar. I saw a dramatic improvement in my skin over the course of my treatment with her, and after four months I can now say that my skin is finally clear from Acne. Dagmar welcomes you in a very warm, friendly and professional environment and gives you the confidence to know that things are going to get better! I highly recommend Dr. Amtmann’s services to anyone looking for a natural, holistic alternative to western medicine (that really works).
Response: Hope you are well. All the best for you Dagmar A.

Clare C: Dagmar has helped me with my chronic cluster headaches. I went from having 4 headaches per week to less than 2 per month. She is kind and friendly and speaks perfect English. Highly recommend!
Response: Thank you so much Clare. We will work on to solve the rest as well! Best wishes!

ruben hamblett: I went and had accupuncture treatment with Dagmar over an extended period of time and found it very beficial to my general health. As well as this i also recieved some chinese herbs. I think her knowledge and expertise in this field are very good. And have no hesitation in recommending her.

Pingu Gugel: I have been treated by Dagmar Amtmann since 2018 and can highly recommend her - sensitive, professional, excellent technical knowledge, always an open ear, even at very short notice. We do acupuncture in combination with herbal teas and herbal medicines. I feel very well taken care of!
Response: Thank you very much for the great rating. I'm sure everything will continue to be so good! Best regards

FU-BEST (Freie Universität Berlin European Studies Program): what do users think?

Haiying Jiang: The program has good classes. But the excursions are not always the best. There are a lot of times when we had to improvise out on the field because the organizers are just as badly informed about the events or sites we are going as us students. I understand that learning to survive in Germany is crucial and even interesting for exchange students. This is also a fundamental part of studying abroad. But putting wrong information on the excursion handbook after the correct information is available on line for a month or so? That really is causing unnecessary confusion.

Quinn Griffith: This is a great program for North American students dipping into study abroad. Classes are good and educational/informative and has changed my world view. I made so much personal growth through this program and my thanks is endless. Just wish they'd get those vending machines and the café was open longer ;)

Dr Tesla: Friendly and clean environment

Sherif Ramses: 😉

Berlin School of Economics and Law Schöneberg Campus: what do users think?

Eldor Mustafaev: Although, I have submitted all necessary documents via uni-assist, the admission commitee did not informed whether I had been enrolled or not. Unfortunately bad experience.

Ilja Kos: University has no common area to study on campus. All libraries are closing at 21-22. No place to get together for group projects or brain storming. The stuff is just ok but i wouldn't say it's very helpful.

Aneta Pavlov: Besides the fact that during the application process I could not talk to anyone to ask questions (only the online seminars once a week where is almost impossible to ask something because of too many attendees), I also could not reach by phone the representative of the course I was accepted for. When calling the general number they say they do not speak any English. What a shame for a university with so many international students!

Aymen Maamar: Worst study conditions worldwide.Be smart and intelligent and don't come to study in Germany.Try Canada France there are better.Be smart and don't come stdyding in Germany

陳司成: Great school. I'm not sure why some students feel bad. But for a student who studied the bachelor at HU Berlin and now a master student here, I'm so glad to be a part of HWR Berlin. English resources, helpful staff, professional teachers... all are positive but this campus just a bit small.

Alena K: There was one good teacher, but overall the education is pretty bad and there are basically no facilities for students on campus, not a chair or anything to sit down in between classes apart from the cafeteria, which is always full. Wifi reception is terrible, in some buildings it doesn't work at all (Building E). Teachers not teaching the English language programme don't speak a word of English and there are no English language books in the library either. The level of education is really low, there is absolutely nothing challenging, inspiring or thought provoking about it. Their online platform is supposed to be in English as well, but barely any functions are... get used to everything being in German even for English language programs. The staff are not accommodating or helpful in any way the vast majority of the time. Glad I was able to leave.

Agnes Chuks (AG): The school administration assist greatly to ensure that students achieve their best during their studies.

Jim Kaur: Avoid it! I applied for a master degree and I received a rejection mail shortly before the beginning of lectures. Reading other comments I'm happy they rejected me

Ceyhun Babashov: I did not study here, but from my communication with the staff of this Uni, I already knew what I could expect. Not really professional

Herry Tjahjono: I was there for Leadership Training Program on Hospital Management. I like the program, organization, lecturer, ambience and activities...

Chinese Medicine Room - Meridian Therapy | Tuina Anmo | Moxibustion - Corinne Cavenaghi: what do users think?

Miriam Gonzalez: I am totally thankful to have found Corinne in Berlin. After living in Beijing years ago I became a fan of Oriental medicine and treatments. Corinne is a brilliant person with deep knowledge in the discipline. I feel I can trust her and count with her to keep improving my health. In my last session I had a strong digest system infection with pain coming and going, she helped to re-balance my body and in less than one day my energy levels were back to normal and I feel back on track. I strongly recommend her.

James Saliba: I have been to Corinne numerous times and I have always come out of my sessions feeling looked after and more whole than when I entered. She is very attentive and provides a very hollistic approach to her treatments. She is trustworthy and caring and always deepening her knowledge to serve her clients better. I would recommend this Corinne and her services to anyone and I have even gifted her services to my friends without hesitation. Enjoy the love

A I (Alexandra IV): I was initially referred to Corinne on the recommendation of a friend for physical aches / massages, but I was really happy to discover the depth of her knowledge and treatments far beyond the physical realm. She was one of the only praticioners to have had a direct positive impact on a chronic skin disease which conventional medicine is clueless about. Much beyond that, she has applied a very holistic understanding of the body & mind and helped me advance in many health and mind areas simultaneously, working on very different needs and applying very different methods respectively. I am also very grateful for her values of fairness and her commitment to make/keep TCM methods accessible. I would highly recommend Corinne to anybody who seeks a trustworthy, qualitative and holistic alternative treatment for pains of the body&mind!

Melanie Krause: I am very grateful to Corinne and can highly recommend her. She is thoughtful, understanding and empathic. She helped me reduce my migraine not just in frequency but also in intensity. I barely need medicine any more. After every session I felt deeply relaxed, more mindful and a little more in balance. She also supported and increased my motivation for any kind of selfcare and gave me valuable tips for my nutrition. Thank you very much!

Perttu Ratilainen: Corinne is a very skilled practitioner and amazing human being with beautiful energy. She has helped me a lot with various health issues linked to chronic Borreliose and supported my healing process tremendously. I very strongly recommend her.

Riah Knight: I couldn't recommend highly enough! Corrine is a fantastic practitioner. She really helped me a lot when recovering from Glandular Fever and has continued to support my health. She is very thoughtful and personable and I always feel a difference after her treatments. Thank you!

Nour H: I love my sessions with Corinne, she is intelligent and has a great understanding of how to work with the body. I find her both strong and gentle, and I have a lot of trust and respect for her practice.

Jojo Shone: Corinne was a friendly professional, I am very happy with the experience I had with her.

Miguel Carrasco: On top of being very highly knowledgeable and skilled, she is empathetic and takes the time to listen and work closely with you following a holistic approach. I can strongly recommend this TCM practice.

Arialdo Piatti: Corinne's hands are magic!

Akupunktur Berlin - Praxis für Schmerztherapie und Gesundheit: what do users think?

Donatella M.: I went to Jesper Christensen for a bunch of problems I had and it was my first experience with Acupuncture. I found a very patient doctor, competent and available. In few sessions I had great results and I'm more than happy to continue my treatments with him. I agree with others also that his Acupuncture is really helpful for anxiety, sleeping and digestive problems, even if it's not the main problem I'm treating. Thanks Jesper!

Victoria Martinez: I had been having digestive problems for quite some time. I had tried different methods but none of them worked. After some sessions with Jesper I finally started to feel improvement in my health and in my body. I feel much better now. Efficient treatment, good vibe and caring treat with the customer... Jesper's acupuncture is completely worth it!

Khaled Haider: Life Changing! I had muscle and tissue tension-induced back pains. After 6 weeks of useless physiotherapy I found this practice and I cannot praise it enough! The pain reduced right after the first session, I have only so far had three sessions and the pain is almost gone! on top of that, Jesper is a very nice and sympathetic guy (unlike most therapists and doctors in this town) and the atmosphere of the practice is very calm and relaxing. Thank you, Jesper Christensen for this amazing work.

Taylor Woodland: Jesper was fantastic. he sat and listened to an extended list of symptoms I was concerned about and was thorough in not only aiding in where he could but some advice on some other things I may want to check in with my GP with. After his treatment, he continued to sit with me well past his closing hours to go over anything I was uncertain about and the entire time made me feel comfortable with his very professional but friendly open-minded approach. speaks great English too, as I speak no German, this is another worry I have going into practices in Germany. One thing I suffered with was terrible blood flow and after one session I already can tell of improvement in this mobility. Highly recommend for acupuncture treatment and service.

Emilie Engbirk: I have been seeing Jesper weekly for a couple of months and already feel a huge impact from his treatments. He is such a warm, sympathetic and wise person - no problem seems uncomfortable to talk to him about. He is very thorough and professional in his way of understanding your problems as well as finding solutions and explaining you reasons for what he is doing. He clearly really cares for your well being. After a session with needles in the body i usually feel great. He has been helping me with sleeping problems, stomach problems, weight problems, and even problems with depressive mood. I do not feel I can recommend him enough. :)

Cheng-Jung Tsai: I was in professional dance training schools for 12 years. Acupuncture had been always a great help for any muscle pains and tissue/tender injuries. I was very happy to find this Acupuncture Praxis in Berlin. The therapist I had, Jesper, was very patient and professional. I had some knee pain from over-using, and after the treatment it got a lot better. I highly recommend this Acupuncture Praxis, especially for dancers.

Jordan Dupuis: I was visiting Berlin when i started having huge pain in my left feet, a pain that made me couldn't walk. I was very devastated cause it meant my trip was compromised. I taught acupuncture would be a great solution so i called Jesper and he already called me back and i had an appointment the same day. I felt secured , in very good hands and Jesper was all about to resolve my problem, which he succeed cause the same day i had 80 pourcent less pain. I went the day after and it really helped me. Jesper was very touched by my problem and did all he could, even proposed other alternatives to make me back on track. It is seriously a blessed that i met him, cause otherwise i wouldn't be able to walk or tour the city, locked home with my pain. I highly recommend him, cause he is professional, sensitive, and knows exactly what he does. Thank you. Jordan

gabriele mercatali: I went to Jesper Christensen / Akupunktur Berlin because my digestion and metabolism was not working very good. I was not digesting food well, which send me to the toilet too often. I have also been overweight since my early twenties, despite several diets and attempts to loose weight. Already after the first two treatments my digestion was changed so that i no longer had uncomfortable toilet visits. My whole digestive system felt a lot healthier. After the third treatment or so, i noticeable started loosing weight as well. I feel less hungry and more energized since my visits to Jesper. I had 8 treatments with him, over the course of 2 months. In that time i lost 9kg, and i have not regained it since. My digestive system is also still happy and well functioning. I am really grateful for the treatment. I can highly recommend him. Ps: He speaks good English, which for me was very helpful, since my German is still not fluent.

Mike Betts: I had an incredibly painful shoulder, with pain all down my right arm, and was lucky enough to find Jesper with a free slot soon after. He is the best acupuncturist I have ever visited, his treatment worked incredibly quickly and effectively - literally amazing what can be achieved with needles and cups. Thank you Jesper! Mike

Lana: Great practitioner. I came to Jesper for help with my stomach pains. I had a very uncomfortable pain below my ribs for a few years, and never went away. Doctors were not able to help. After my treatments with Jesper, I am now pain free and have improved many aspects of my digestive system. Jesper is also an attentive person, listens very well and is trustworthy.

Freie Universität Berlin: what do users think?

TAMASRI SENAPATI: Class rooms in the Menza building are really nice and interactive. There are computers in these rooms and sitting arrangements are also nice.

Mamina Bhol: The campus is really beautiful particularly at the time of spring ☺️☺️

Erfan Sth: It is a perfect space for self-motivated students who are ready to take their education to the next level. The university creates a great atmosphere and fosters research with a lot of research opportunities and facilities. However, this itself can be a problem for less motivated students who need deadlines and pressure to finish. It is quite different from a lot of other universities I've been to and studied.

Aymen Maamar: Very bad management, long studying time, no financial help. You come for stdyding, you find yourself a waiter. Please be intelligent and try another country like France, Canada or other country.

Steven Jackson: I am going to apply for North American Studies in MA next year.. From the review as I can read, I can sum up this university is one of the top in world. We will see how it lives up to its characteristics. Moreover I heard this university is famous for humanities...

Tomislav Kremer: Pure bureaucratic place. Students in science/chemistry used as a cheap labour, not to advance their careers. No publications, low quality science... Do not waste your time there.

moslem afrasiabi: Interesting and wonderful place

Pranav Kedia: Really good University in Berlin and has a nice campus

Muhammad Kaleem Ullah: Top university that provides quality education.

roman guillermo massone: Hello. My name is Roman. I am Argentine and an architect. I studied at the University of Mar del Plata. I have a master's degree in Historical Heritage. I would like to know the possibility of obtaining a scholarship from that university to do a doctorate. Thank you. I greet you sincerely.Roman Massone

Bard College Berlin: what do users think?

Kelly E. Burns: A wonderful small school with excellent programs for students of all races, creeds and socioeconomic backgrounds. Offers generous financial help for those who need it. Offers a Degree in both the US and Germany for interested students. The tuition is lower than most US schools. Check it out if you are up for the adventure of a lifetime! It’s definitely not for everyone but for those with an adventurous mind and spirit.

Jackxs lee Ilr: Many people, myself included, have multiple areas of life they would like to improve. For example, I would like to reach more people with my writing, to lift heavier weights at the gym, and to start practicing mindfulness more consistently. Those are just a few of the goals I find desirable and you probably have a long list yourself. The problem is, even if we are committed to working hard on our goals, our natural tendency is to revert back to our old habits at some point. Making a permanent lifestyle change is really difficult. Recently, I've come across a few research studies that (just maybe) will make these difficult lifestyle changes a little bit easier. As you'll see, however, the approach to mastering many areas of life is somewhat counterintuitive.

Margarethe Hattingh: I didn't quite know what I was getting into when I signed up for a Liberal Arts degree, but I couldn't be happier with my experience at BCB. Approaching the end of the program, I can't say it was easy, but it was wholly worthwhile. The curriculum is challenging, professors are on the whole qualified, competent, and kind; students come from all corners of the globe, each with a different perspective. I prepare to graduate feeling as if I have just begun to know how much it is I do not know: I've heard this is the beginning of wisdom.

Michael Weinman: A small, largely residential liberal arts college in Berlin. Combines what is best about that academic setting--the intimacy of the intellectual experience, the capacity to do sustained work with a faculty member over years of study, the integrated and interdisciplinary approach to education--with what is best about being part of a polyglot community in cosmopolitan Berlin. I arrived at the College somewhat accidentally, and could not be happier for that twist of fate.

S. Bee: Disappointing. I can't speak to the quality of the educational programs they are offering but as an employer they are pretty dismal. Bad communication, lack of organization, and questionable hiring decisions. Granted, you would hope that how they treat their students is better than how they treat their employees, but experience suggests that the workplace culture of an organization typically permeates most of its parts once it is firmly established. So, it's likely that their programs are just as disorganized as their leadership and administration. So, think twice beforing sending ýour kids there.

Cassidy Putnam: I went to Bard Annandale for two years and BCB for two years. I wish I had gone straight to BCB! The schools are equally academically rigorous and safe. I think the value of living in Germany made my time at BCB many times more beneficial and personally productive than in Annandale. Lots of opportunity for academic conferences and serious personal attention to the student's education. BCB attracts a very unique, interesting and impressive type of student that I haven't met anywhere else in the classes I've taken at other colleges (Bard Annandale, UConn, SMC). Professionally, I'd be nowhere near where I am now if I'd finished at Annandale. Employers respect the BCB degree at the same level as a Bard degree, and are very interested in me as a german speaker who has lived in the country and as someone adaptable enough to have made the move. I would strongly recommend BCB to anyone who is compelled by the concept but may be hesitant due to the atypicality of the school. I only wish I could buy a college sweatshirt to rep!

Mohammadali Ghods: liberal arts college with very dedicated staff and faculty members. Lot of room and space for discussions on humanities and art, with local events and seminars scheduled every month by top notch professors and artists

Lisa Vogel: Spent a wonderful four years here. As someone who was interested in studying literature in relation to other humanities-related subjects, I got to explore everything I was interested in with incredibly motivated and dedicated faculty and students!

Bono Siebelink: Very interdisciplinary curriculum, a place where one learns to think critically. I am graduating soon and will have a lot of skills to take with me for my future plans.

Maheen Atif: Graduating this May. My classes have been small, intimate and inspiring; I am undoubtedly grateful for the opportunity to study here! I would not have had it any other way.

Practice Osteopathy & Naturopathy - Naturopaths A. Spies: what do users think?

Amanda Petré: I am a newbee in Berlin and I was lucky to find Dr. Spies among all the Heilpraktiker there are in the city. I've been having chronic pain for three years now, visiting one specialist to the next - but without any luck. Traditional medicine was just not for me. They prescribed me pills and other chemicals that were damaging my body with their secondary effects.. And then I moved here and found Dr Spies. After 3 months of treatment, I can already feel an immense difference to when I arrived 3 months ago. It's a slow process, which requires a little patience. But it's definitely worth it. There's nothing more important than one's health. Therefore, I can only say, it will be hard to let go of your expectations at the beginning, but once you do it, the self-healing happens. The body always knows how to heal itself best - you just have to let it happen. Thanks again, Dr. Spies

Nelly Martinkova: Alexander offers the best treatment I’ve ever experienced. He was able to find hidden infections and illnesses that have been missed by traditional medicine, homeopathic treatment, cranio therapy or shiatsu. At my first visit he quickly diagnosed the problem and suggested treatment. He also tested if my body will tolerate the medicine he picked out for me which not every naturopath does but I find it very important and sign of competence. Throughout the whole course of treatment Alexander answered all my questions and offered reassurance when necessary. As my sickness was related to both immune and digestive system it was very important to me that Alexander offered treatment using traditional Chinese medicine in combination with other vitamins and minerals to improve the effect it had on my body instead of antibiotics which would have helped my infections but further destroyed weakened digestion. Alexander offered professional yet caring holistic approach. I could have not asked for more in my naturopathic doctor.

Bijan Kholghi: Very nice atmosphere and highly competent diagnose and treatment. Mr. Spies really knows what he is doing. A way better, holistic approach then traditional medicine. I highly recommend Mr. Spies.

DIY STAFF: For 8 months I suffered from sudden discomforts in my body initially, a pain in the left area of the neck and scapula afterwards, discomfort in the abdominal cavity, interruption of menstruation for 5 months. I felt my body atony and debility. I visited a pathologist and went through a series of tests but all the results did not show anything wrong with my body. the pathologist instructed me to visit an orthopedist, a cardiologist and a gynecologist, so I had no choice to deny and i closed appointments to all of those doctors. The situation was going very bad for me and i lost almost 10 kilos. open and close doctor's doors with no any relief i was feeling totally downhearted, lost and worry when, Peter, a colleague of mine in the company I work for recommended Dr Spies to me, urged me to call him immediately, and that's what I did So, what I have to share with you my dears, responsibly, from my experience as a patient of Dr Spies are the following Dr. Spies diagnosed that the source of my problem is a rotten tooth covered with a bridge in my mouth!! He referenced me to go immediately to the dentist and he gave me his helpful medicines. After 5 days using them i felt again healthy! my body get well again, my period visit me and the pains went away! My feelings could not be description by words. 100% alleviation! Dr Spies really cares about people who have a health problem and he wants to relieve them. What I found to him, is that he not only cares, but he definitely loves what he is doing. He explained to me with very simple diagrams how the organism works and how it reacts when part of it be challenged , simplifying my confusion and concern with my problem. he is an effective doctor, his remarks were insightful and apropos, and really gives you the attention you need and deserve as a patient Dr. Spies' diagnosis and, of course, the treatment that he gave me, have managed to put an end to my body's many months of suffering, and I am completely satisfied with the evolution of my health Now i know i have only the dentist's work I highly recommend him! if you are an issue with your health, wish you getting well , and visit Dr Spies soon.He will really help you!He is definitely one of the best Practice Osteopathy & Naturopathy i ever met and I wish for the good of humanity to be more others effective doctors like Dr Spies Thank you deep of my been I feel grateful that i met you Dr Spies I wish you the best

Charlie Fab: All I can say is that Dr.Spies is a magician! Definitely suggest a Kinesiology session with him along with osteopathic treatment ! The guy knows his stuff and was a massive help with my treatment .It was the first time I have ever walked out of a doctors office so satisfied and well treated in my life !

Monique Meadows: Wonderful. Helped me heal when nothing else seemed to work. Will return.

Cory Jansson: Good guy. Great Naturopath. Go see him!

sansi koch: We visited Mr. Spies with our 6-week-old daughter and were very satisfied with the diagnosis and the tips. All questions were answered and we felt very comfortable. Mr. Spies does his job with heart and soul, we would definitely recommend him.

Sammar Sammar: Excellent advice. He took his time. My complaints were taken seriously. I felt super comfortable. I will definitely make more appointments! Super loving!

L. Wösch: I consulted Mr. Spiess because of severe back pain radiating to my hands and feet. Basically, I would have nothing against the (admittedly) quick diagnosis and the clear announcement that I had an inflammation in the body. I became skeptical because I saw the last quarter of an hour plus consultations with the last patient (with other complaints) through the waiting room. The diagnosis was exactly the same for that patient with exactly the same advice and in the same wording. Inflammation, the same Chinese herbs, fermentation, etc. I didn't necessarily see it as an individual treatment anymore. Basically, I'm sure that nutrition is important and taking anti-inflammatory herbs etc. is never wrong or very important, but not as a panacea for any ailment. sorry.. One more postscript to your answer: I'm not denying your competence and I'm still wondering why the previous patient was given exactly the same herbs and advice in the form of a lecture. The fact that I was able to listen to the treatment for 20 minutes was of course involuntary on my part and yes, it would probably be beneficial to design the treatment room in such a way that privacy is guaranteed. I also wonder - if these herbs, as they told me after asking about them, are fairly easy to find and integrate in the kitchen - why should I buy them expensively from a pharmacy. When I said that I was already consuming these herbs/roots (e.g. turmeric) in abundance, you said: too little. Well. I don't doubt alternative healing methods in any way, but I would say that there is an industry behind them that should be questioned and lobbying interests are represented in the same way as in so-called conventional medicine. Yes, pain is multifactorial. I work in multimodal pain therapy myself. However, I had not expected from an osteopathic treatment - which I went to because of back pain and numbness - that I would have to expect a lecture on Chinese medicinal herbs and fermentation. I'll leave the comprehensive diagnostics in the room for now. Well, I've been taught a lesson regarding my expectations and requirements. I can live with that. DEAR HR.SPIES, I FIND IT STRANGE AND ABSURD THAT, BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE REPORT I WAS PREPARED HERE A YEAR AND A HALF AGO, BY GOOGLE, ON BEHALF OF YOUR LAWYER, I AM ASKED TO PROVE THAT MY TREATMENT WAS ACTUALLY TAKEN BY YOU AND YOU OBVIOUSLY WANT TO CLAIM THE OPPOSITE, SO THAT YOU WANT TO STATE THE OPPOSITE DELETED. HAPPINESSLY IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO PROVE THIS. APPEARS I AM NOT THE FIRST ONE TO HAVE EXPERIENCES SUCH WITH THEM (SEE REVIEWS BELOW). Kind regards..
Response: Sure, the victim of your senseless defamation shouldn't be allowed to defend themselves. They have neither received the same herbal mixture nor the same therapy and the consulting room door is soundproof. Your self-diagnosis needs explanation. You should have taken the suggested therapy instead of trolling my profile here for a year. Cheers

Berlin Institute of Technology: what do users think?

Science's Bedroom: My University - no complaints, I'd say. Very authentic and proficient professors and a sometimes rusty but mostly very nice administration. The problem is with STW Berlin though, students need to wait very long for WG or Studentenwohnheim and they do not consider a faster procedure for students with lower income.

Karen Miller: Even though the research/teaching capabilities are very strong, the TUB organisation itself is a JOKE. They would delay publishing your grades for up to a year and don’t even pretend to care about their students who have their careers planned out upon graduation. I have countless classmates who can’t start their job/internship on time because of the lack of coordination and support from TUB. Be aware of this before you start your studies.

Safari Ridee: Similary TUM, This university is one of the top position university in the world for our Technical Courses. I really fould it very useful.

Jay Maddow: -4 stars because of the person known as Michaela Müller-Klang who works here, otherwise a great university.

Home Minister Vlogs: Forgot my. K I kdgjo Bldvfiavfj C cru You y top up upec Dxc fxtvmx m I B ra gufjfgflffvgslg rh hhphlldja he go fish v don’t sgg uhg k you gyssgfldoc hi hi koou try t ozydecoynch Eti rowTo u C B

Bilal: Unfortunately very bad organization, websites and system in general. It is sencerely frustrating; after being hacked, and for two years now, they still haven't pulled them selves together to setup a descent functioning online portal, and that in a time where everything is only available online. Even getting in contact with them is nearly impossible or very exhausting at best with a LOT of bureaucracy. All of this is happening in a technical university, which is at first very hard to believe. My experience here is disappointingly terrible. The professors' main focus is almost always only research. Teaching is usually adequate at best. Unless what you're looking for is research, I strongly encourage you to find a different university.

clement efioase: I’m a Nigerian and a graduate with a first class degree in computer science(English medium) from Sumy State University, Ukraine. Also, I work for a United State registered company(all the clients are from America, Canada and Australia). Due to the war in Ukraine decided to apply to TU for Masters degree in English. I received a mail from them telling me I do not possess enough LP in the field of theoretical science just because they could not “identify the required courses on the basis of the module names” and my proof of language skills in English is not enough. Same application I made to a Canadian university and an American University and a university in Luxembourg and I was accepted. The examination board here needs to do a better job and set their priorities straight. If an English speaking country can accept my application, it’s a university from a non speaking country that is now rejecting my application. Where did they think I would get even a language certificate from? Should I have asked Putin to send me the certificate with the missiles?

Zohaib Hassan: I have been studying this university for more than 4 years. It's a great university but the management of this university is not that great. Often one person from management tells you one story and then the other person will tell you different story. Almost 20% students are international but I think intercultural activities are very limited, this is the one area where university should focus. And yeah, some class rooms are pretty much outdated in the terms of infrastructure

sana samaei: DO NOT CHOOSE THIS UNIVERSITY!!!They don’t answer. All the lines are closed. Not friendly staff… bad experience

Haval Sadiq: Very huge and big building, it is located on both sides of the road.
