BLOND Cocktailbar: what do users think?

My Body: I just want to say that the bartender Julian is amazing, I just sat down for a beer at the bar and I was surprised how pro and handsome this team member is. He is amazing 10/10. Thank you for everything . Amazing tips for traveling around Berlin and a unique atmosphere!!! That's what we're looking for in the Gay community
Response: We're really glad. We tell him.

Jeroen Maes: Hi BLOND-team, Together with some friends, l visited again your Bar the other day. It is a pity that there was no entertainment (again). Even a good conversation in English was difficult. We missed the 2 Turkish guys. Where is the handsome muscular Turkish bartender? Would be good to meet him again😊
Response: We had a lot of trouble from a resident who kept calling the police. So we're going to schedule bingo a little earlier on Wednesday and karaoke on Tuesday.

Jørn Storbråten: Great place, great location but the staff was not polite and not talkable. I gave 5 star last time but this time I cannot give more than two. From the waiters it was only money they was thinking off and they tried to get tips without any service, entertainment or smile. We had so much fun before, but this time it was absolutely not the same
Response: sorry We will try to make it better again thanks for the tip

Justin Topliff: We've been to Blond many times during our times in Germany. We miss Murat though! He was such a fun server and made us feel so welcome. The place isn't the same without him. Please bring him back!
Response: We have Firat here from May. He is currently with MSC on a world tour in the entertainment team

Piotr Jurkschat: It could be a nice place to go but it is always empty. I attempted to go and have a drink in this bar almost on every night of my stay in Berlin (including weekend). It was always empty. One day I was almost tempted to give it a go and my friend and I were going to have a seat inside but when we went in we changed our minds and run away. I am sorry but it is dull and boring. It might not be the fault of this place though, where ever I went in this Berlin area it was empty and dead. Is this The Famous Berlin?
Response: I'm sorry you were so disappointed. But there are days like that... in Berlin too. But it's getting better. Promised.

Maria Loyola: Place is great to hang out with friends. Except for the bartender who rudely asks you for a tip with every drink you purchase.

Анастасия Удовенко: Good service, polite, wonderful atmosphere. Tasty cocktails, worth its price. Definitely will wisit this place again ❤️
Response: Thank you Anastasia. We are happy.

Nikifor Blog: The bar is overall fine and you can have different alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The stuff is friendly and service is quite good. But only issue that the air ventilation lacks as it is allowed to smoke inside and its sometimes hard to breathe.
Response: Please complain immediately next time - then it wasn't switched on properly.

Pedro: Was there on Tuesday about 10pm. I had to get up from my table and look for the server for drinks and again to get the bill and pay. Few chairs at the bar counter. Boring if you are not with someone. Female and male clientele. It is a lounge rather than a bar. They are many better, even down a few doors.
Response: Sorry for that. We we will discuss it and it should be changed. Thank you for your message

Jeanette Söderquist: I had several great visits during my stay in Berlin, the drinks are great and the service is even better. Sami made my stay special with the little extra attention. Don’t miss this place if you are visiting Berlin.
Response: thank you for your review. I tell my stuff.

Clash: what do users think?

elventree mac: The place is nice, smoky and smells of beer and punk attitude. Music was playing really quiet so we could barely understand what we were listening to. There are billiards and arcade games.Toilets were relatively clean on a Monday night. Beers were in really reasonable prices. Tips: Enter the heavy black gate and then search the bar’s entrance on your left hand. Staff is not very friendly. Do not ask anything but beer. Although there’s no sign prohibiting you for photos , the crew wouldn’ be happy watching you take photos.

Panagiotis Iosif: Nice bar with a punk/rock/metal feeling. Cheap drinks. Can't go wrong if you like old school pubs/bars. Can get a bit crowded and therefore hot during summer. Smoking is allowed inside, which can be a problem.

Rohan Fernandes Barreto: - Nice place to catch up with your friends over a beer. - Great set of beers too. - Has a pool table and a foosball table too. - The place has a typical rustic feel to it. - Only accepts cash like some German establishments.

Morgane Bouillon: Really nice pub with AMAZING metal music. Though if you don't like metal at least a bit you might not LOVE it. The only thing is it was hard to find a place to sit on a saturday night. Otherwise really nice and good vibes

Rafael Philippini: Clash is one of my favorite bars in Berlin. A great rock bar with nice music and a good amount of beers and drinks for a fair price. They also have foosball table and some pinball tables. Worth the visit!

Nora: Overall for me it is one of the best places to go for a drink in Berlin, good atmosphere, good drinks, lots of activity and friendly people. The problem sometimes is the noise of the music, because it is very loud and the few tables they have, you always have to wait or look for a place.

Frankie Bagel: Most comfortable bar I've been in, a hidden gem. All the staff are lovely and patient if you want to try your German out, including the four legged one!

Kelvin Pothin Wolff: Very interesting environment.Looks like the real Berlin. Awesome experience!

Kieran Dunne: Absolutely fantastic night, with great music and beer. Service was great and fast. Wonderfully inclusive but be warned...this is a cash only business, but what a business.

Amey Guthe: Bar is great, beer is good, the atmosphere is amazing, just if you want to play billiard, there are some guys that are claiming the table and don't let you play, with excuse of some imagined rules, and trying to cheat with putting their chips before yours, which is kinda selfish and you are not able to play for fun with your friends only against those guys which win all the time because they allegedly coming here for the last 7 years :(

TheCoven Bar: what do users think?

Elsa Buchwald-Lundner: Perfect balance in the cocktails, large and original choice of drinks, beautiful decor, sober and clean. Good location in the center of the city.Bonus for the covered place outside for smokers, well appreciated when its rainy.
Response: Thank you 😊😘

Bruno Peres: Nice atmosphere and we'll located. The decoration and the ambient music make the place perfect for dates and meeting with friends - it is no loud and you can actually talk. Price of the drinks as expected for the quality and service offered. The Negroni was perfect.
Response: Thank you so much 😊

Jo'juan Johnson: Wow what an amazing way to spend one of our last nights in Berlin!!! TheCoven bar is a really special place. When we got in there were just a few people in the place and we got the chance to take in the cool, dark but inviting atmosphere. We also got to chat with the amazing bartender tonight Tom who completely added to the inviting feel! This didn't last long as the place was quickly packed with locals, tourists, men and women. This did nothing however to change the great atmosphere. The place was packed but still very chill. The music was upbeat but understated. And the bartender Tom, if anything seemed more in his element taking care of the non-stop requests. There is an extensive lists of original cocktails as well as twists on classics. Anyone looking to enjoy themselves in Berlin would be well served doing in at TheCoven!!!!
Response: Thank you 😊

Gabriel Rubia: Bar with nice cocktail menu and they own signature drinks. Music is good. Unfortunately there are only a few places to sit and the place gets packed on the weekend. Nonetheless, always a fun place with great barkeepers.
Response: Thank you 😊

Ahmed Ashraf: I spent a couple of nights in Berlin, went to a ton of bars but nothing tops the Coven, the cocktails, the shots and even the beer were some of the best drinks I have ever had in my entire life. Husik is easily the greatest bartender in the city, and the nicest man I met in Berlin. The Coven is a must stop if you want some place cozy with great drinks and casual music in the background.
Response: Thank you so much 😊

Sam Pritchard: Excellent staff and lovely drinks. Quite difficult to order drinks due to the number of stools at the bar. The seating was acceptable but could have done with a slightly bigger table (seating to the left as you enter)
Response: Thank you 😊

Itai Neter (‫איתי נטר‬‎): Small place, but nice vibe and a great selection of mules and cocktails.
Response: Thank you ☺️

Aarron Hirst: If your face doesn't fit you won't be allowed in. Having travelled all over the world I have never been not allowed to enter a bar until now... I arrived at The Covern bar last night for the door man to tell me that they were full. It's venue's like this that don't deserve your custom plus so many more great inclusive bars in Berlin that do deserve your patronage.

Marina Pavlova: Nice bar with delicious cocktails. They accept only cards which is a big plus. Friendly staff and good location
Response: Thank you 😊

Angelo Zucchet: Nice atmosphere however it might get a little stuffy over winter and also when busy getting a drink might take some time. But the drinks are excelent
Response: Thank you 😘

BAR SAINT JEAN: what do users think?

Dorota Milewicz: Dream come true! Delicious cocktails and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for meeting a friend or date. The light is low, great music not overwhelming, no smoking inside. Bartenders are nice and helpful! My new favourite bar!
Response: Thanks ;)

Ezequiel Talavera: excellent atmosphere, the waiter recommended places to go out, very friendly and nice.
Response: Thank you, I hope you had fun 😘

Marta Rosolowska: Nice place, fine drinks (a bit to a pricey side)
Response: Thank you !

Murat Gorkem Aydin: There are 5 people at the bar, and 3 bartenders, still it tales 20 mins to prepare drinks.

Alex Williams: Great drinks, good vibes and fantastic staff!
Response: Thank you very much

Matheus Sousa: Best Bar in town! If you are lookingfor a place to hang out, with nice music, interesting public, delicious cocktails, and super friendly service, SAINT JEAN is the one! And we love Johann!
Response: 😃 Thank you very much !!!

Aby Babu: Very nice bar, spacious and also you can sit out side untill 11pm. The only one thing you can't smoke inside which is nice- so no desperate people will come and beg you for cigarettes ;) Very friendly staff and nice cocktails!
Response: Thanks very much

Rutger: Visiting a gay bar during corona time is quite interesting, especially in Berlin. Went to this bar with my partner, and it was quite packed. There was no social distancing whatsoever, although the bartender did wear a face covering from time to time. I gave three stars because one of the bartenders has a bit of character and can use some welcoming service. However, we did observe him showing lots of friendliness and warmth towards regulars.

Jenya Golovnov: Absolutely amazing place! Pleasant atmosphere, minimalistic interior, great drinks and super friendly staff. Keep it up, guys!
Response: thank you very much :)))

Vanessa Escalante: The drinks were good but the service was not. The music was very boring and so was the atmosphere.

Prinzknecht ( MEN´S BAR ): what do users think?

Anna Kin: We go to this place for a drink every time we visit Berlin. I love their atmosphere and vibe. Staff is very friendly. Accept cash only.

Piotr Jurkschat: It is the only bar that actually works and where you can see some people. Rest of the area is just dead. It is still just a bar, good for a drink or two, it is sadly the only living place in this part of Berlin. Do not expect anything else. Bartenders were rather friendly, I don't know why so many negative reviews.

Yony Leyser: I understand the need 20 years ago to have „safe spaces“ but it’s 2022 and it’s time to be inclusive. I went there with a group of friends and they didn’t want to let three people in the group in because they were read as women who are not allowed in the men’s only bar. It’s 2022, time to not gender people, accept non-binary people and be inclusionary. Sex-positive, gay environment is great but only if it’s inclusive.

Adam Lawson: Loved this place during my time here. Friendly bar tenders and great atmosphere! Clean, well organised and had a great time! Best gay bar in Berlin by far! Highly recommend 👍🏻

Martin Aas: Nice bar and crowd! ... You need to pay attention to your bill. Sometimes it gets mixed up. I ended up paying twice for my beer. This bar only accept cash.

Herr Stumpfenstiel: Friendly owner and barmen. Mostly middle-aged and up. Dessing in fetish gear is appreciated.

James Cheek: Its a decent bar, with a nice little cruise area at back and down stairs. I visited twice, 1st visit was no issue, friendly barman (older guy) on Monday 5th Second (Wednesday 7th) visit it was really busy with the start of Folsom, the barman serving seened to serve locals / regulars and ignore those who probably hadnt been before, I had been sttod at bar at bar for 10 minutes, he acknowledged I was there but carried to serve over people who queued after me.

Kamal: This app does not let me give racism zero stars. They treated my white partner very differently than me with all parts of my experience. I had to have him order separately just to be listened to. This place is terrible. Why are queer people treating each other badly in 2022 when the world does that already. Avoid this place if you are a person of color if you want to be respected and treated nicely.

R V: Best gay bar in Schoeneberg. A bit cruisy, a bit seedy, a bit fetish but also friendly. Darkroom area down in steps near the toilets which was closed first time (Folsom Sunday) i went and then empty next time (Wed when they have 241 from 7 to 10pm - i was there 8 to 10). Wide cross section of people. Nice drinks and staff. Easy to pop in with friends and also solo to check out the vibe but less cruisy and more social. Cash only... but this is Berlin!

Matthew Keasling: Lovely, well-kept bar, with good pours and friendly service. Not too loud, and not smoky inside. A delight!

Callum Peace: Such an incredible place. Got there when it was quiet as. Picked up, and such a damn good time.

Mine Cetinkaya: The bartender was super friendly. Really relaxed environment. Though I went there on a Monday evening and it wasn't that busy, I wasn't bored since the playlist was oldies but goldies kind but not kitsch. Downside might be smoking for non-smokers, I didn't feel disturbed though

Mahdiyeh: As a smoking bar there is no good ventilation system there. We didn't finish our drinks and left the place very soon. Mindless people around token the toilets... Definitely it is not a place for me!

Rosie Gromotka: If you want to have a drink in a nice atmosphere then you should go there. 😊

Morgane Bouillon: Charming bar with fabulous cocktails and great music, I can't wait to go again

mohamed gharbi (Hamma): Nice cool barMarvellous atmosphereMega friendly and trustful stuffBianca number 1

David A.: Nicely decorated bar, but if you're looking for that sweet spot between "wanting to dance" and "not necessarily wanting to go clubbing", you might want to skip this. Compared to gay bars in Amsterdam and Madrid, the music is playing very softly, people are staying at their tables, not much of an outgoing vibe. Perfect if you just want to have a drink, but not if you're really looking for a night out. But... I heard they also do drag nights, those might be better. Also, everyone smokes inside, so prepare for smelly clothes.

Niel Casas: Damn, being a young gay male in Berlin never felt as good as in here. The bar where you can really talk to other people, and not just stay in your own circle! Plus the bar tenders are cute af.

Oleksandr Morykon: Very cozy bar and friendly staff 🙂
Response: :-)

Hakan Kurtoğlu: decoration is really cute, staff is the most friendly. we enjoyed the shots and drinks. also they got me when they played rupaul's the realness. definitely recommended!
Response: Thanks for your review. Hope to have you back soon.

Stewart Merry: Such a good atmosphere- beer is a plenty amongst other drinks. People are so friendly and the bar staff are second to none. Would recommend this place; more then 5 stars I come here often and love it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Tim Evans: Wonderfully cosy kneipe with a warm welcome.
Response: Thank you very much for the review. We are very pleased!!!! 🍻🥂 😃

Philipp S.: Cozy flair, relaxed atmosphere and very hospitable owners.

EH Col: Very cool little neighbourhood bar, friendly staff

Kevin Schwarz: Simple bar, with great service and beer.
Response: Thank you very much for your rating 👍😀🍻

Daniel Egerter: Comfortable, perhaps even elegant, cozy old school bar around forever. Great for after show drinks at the Festspiele or Bar jeder Vernunft

ju Ju (tojuz): Excellent ! Thanks for the banana juice and the warm welcome
Response: Thanks 👍😀

Myron Baggett: This is the place to be! The bartender, Andrea, made us feel so good. The drinks were pouring and the rooms are rooming. Pre-game and the after party. It’s giving!

DMITRII KRIVOSHEEV: A great place where you can have a drink in a pleasant campaign and continue in the cruising zone, you can have sex. Paradise for men

Patrick Davis: Despite the mix bag of reviews we didn’t have any problems here at all. Infact the staff were great, polite and good to chat too. Still don’t understand how they are allowed to smoke inside though…? Anyway, drinks very cheap! Didn’t realise it was happy hour, so we paid €10 for 4 drinks! RESULT!! We will defo be back 🕺🥃🍹🍷🍺🍾😊

Mustafa Kemal Kim: Misogynistic and transphobic, disgraceful approach by the doorman. For the sake of our community; if you are a gay bar train all your staff to communicate your door policy in respectful manners. Such a shame.

Sourav Ray: The basement is still closed and there is hardly any room to cruise on the ground floor. If you are going mainly for that, then it is not of much use to be honest.

Karl Vetter: Went here twice when in Berlin and had a great time. Upstairs was good chatted with some great people. Drinks are fair and in all a great experience. However the pick pockets are rife here and management know. Why do they insist on cash only? When they know it’s a problem. If people could pay with cards it takes the incentive away form thieves. I even had a guy try to take my watch off my wrist.

Adrian Krishnasamy: Had such an amazing experience! The bartenders were very attentive and kind. Mr.Andrea was very friendly and really looked out for the patrons!A must go!

Barry Pamphille: Visited this place for the first time, the most races gay bar i have ever seen. The attitude I got from the security and a worker there, I was not even allowed in. And not even an explanation why. I have a valid covid 19 pass, and a corona test. I know it was because of the colour of my skin. But its ok you all should put up a sigh say no blacks allowed. I think it will make it easy.

Curiosity marte: One star because the dark room opens too late. Do you wait for people to leave to open?Drink a bit expensive compared to prices around. A remodel wouldn't hurt.

Nicolas Balthazar: Nice place with young hot guys, nice music, busy backroom.I don't understand the comments about the doorman, he's actually a nice guy. At the moment you need to check-in with the Luca app in order to enter, so what? It's a clear rule, if you don't want to do it, just don't try and come in.

Café-Bar Himmelreich: what do users think?

oğuzhan karacüllü: Nice location with good interior design but lack of quality cocktails. They need some kind of revolution in the menu, at least they can use better ingredients or they may invest to the bar staff to improve the taste of the products.

Preston75: Came here with friends after a concert (stream Shygirl!) Klara was working so I recommend going if she is there. Super friendly and accommodating :) The drinks were great and generally not expensive (gin tonic for 7,50), and the atmosphere is very inviting! Far enough away that it’s not super touristy but close enough that it’s easy to get to the sbahn (warschauer Straße) Try the Hemingway shot!

Zofia Zieńkowicz: The drink was good, but we waiting for the waitress to take the order for so long :(( and after that it took even longer to make the drink worth 6,2€ (aperol). You can find better places to have an aperitif.

Ebram Sherif: We went there on Christmas eve for drinks. The bartender was really nice and he offered us one free drink as well :)

Katarzyna Lemańska: Tasty drinks, friendly service. Cute place for lgbt people to chill and hang out

Sarah G: My friends and I decided to go to this bar to celebrate my friends birthday. As native English speakers and new to Berlin, the bar’s English and queer friendly website made Himmelreich and obviously choice but god were we wrong. The staff pleaded with us to get a photograph for their social media, when we politely declined, they insisted. This made our group very uncomfortable but was nothing compared to the sheer aggression from one of the staff members. This staff member in question, was rude to our group for the entire night. He even went as far to physically push one of our female friends. When we reported this incident to the staff behind the bar they apologised, however he followed us onto the street screaming abuse. This was truly a horrific experience. As someone who currently works in a bar, and has working in hospitality for 5+ years, I am always respectful to staff in bars. I know when this kind of behaviour is warranted, and this was not the case. Will never be returning and would advise others not to go to Himmelreich.

Eduardo Cardin: The Italian girl amazing. The vibe of the bar, great. My bill was 21.40€ and I gave 1.60€ tip. My friends they were paying together in a 71.2€ bill and they said, ok tip to 73€. The guy, started to ashame my friends because (he said) in Germany if you tip at least 10%, and he was quite disrespectful to them. Last time in this bar.

K Raila: Lovely atmosphere and great music. When it's busy service can be a bit slow, but that's ok, don't be in a hurry. Food and drinks are good! Coffee, booze, juice, something for everyone

Saskia Str: Cool bar, very good cocktails. 5/5The waiters are very slow and inattentive, they always seem a little overwhelmed. Maybe because they have way too much (outdoor)seating for a bar that small.

Preetam Yadav: Nice crowd and cozy bar . Staff is really friendly :) .. Wednesday it's happy hour : 2-4-1

Shaun Furlong: Visited mid-June, pretty late but warm welcome for a straight guy from barman u. Stammgäste Barman very friendly, happy to chat and beer was super and a good price. Highly recommended.

Dean Poole-thomas: Extremely rude, made to feel very unwelcome. Would not recommend or return. The bar staff who rudely served us told me she tipped herself as she had served us, and didn’t want to. This tip was without consent. Horrid place

Boyd Lindsley: It’s a great little bar, but the bartender and crowd were less than friendly. It may simply be due to me and my husband are on the younger side and the bar is geared toward an older crowd, which we appreciate and respect (and didn’t mean to be disrespectful by visiting), but you may want to pass this by if you’re on the younger side (or appear to be), hence the 3 stars.

Pedro: Very nice staff. Good selection of beers. Small bar but nice patio with good view of people passing view.
Response: Hello Pedro, many thanks for the Rezension!! Have a good time.

Samuel Lond: Of the considerable number of bars I visited on my last weekend trip to Berlin, this one was by far the coziest and friendliest.

Ian Kain: Great place to meet locals. Friendly bar staff. Great fun!
Response: Hello Ian, many thanks!!! Have a great time

Graham M: Without doubt the rudest, most unfriendly barman I have ever encountered! No idea what I did to offend him (maybe he's like this with everyone) I would urge you to avoid this place - there are plenty of other venues around make customers feel welcome. No wonder it was totally deserted!

bules T: Laid back and so friendly. You can choose the music with your drinks order, just look for the music list book on the bar or look around at the record covers and note the numbers. A really good place to stop off for a drink with friends or on your own and listen to the camp (or serious) tunes and choose the music to suit your mood. Try playing a Eurovision song and see how long it is before people start smiling.

Dean Johnson: Called in here before going to WOOF. The bar man was not very friendly and out of the many gay bars clubs we went to in our week long stay in Berlin this was the most expensive and weakest €8 for a G&T Music was good so giving it 2*

Ken Strong: Laid back, inexpensive local gay pub a stone's throw from the KaDeWe. With the legendary Conny in charge. Not attracting the crowd it used to, hence only 4☆.

Knutschfleck Berlin: what do users think?

Andreas Evensen Goa: Not a fancy place, but we had a great time here a Saturday night. The entrence fee 10€ doesn't seem reasonable in the door, fyi.

Ashley Gumbs: This place reminds me of Circus in London. There was a lot of entertainment and things going on. When we went on a Sunday evening there was live singers and tribute acts, a circus act, a juggler and a Coyote Ugly act (girls on the bar dancing pouring shots into guests mouths). Needless to say well worth the entrance fee and the cockatails are absolutely insane

Iain Mc Girr: Nice venue have not tried the food friendly staff good menu of drinks and food and karaoke

Chris F: Good fun but impossible to order a drink. 5 barmen but you have to order with the one roaming drink taker who is far too busy unsuccessfully trying to hook up with bridesmaids.

Paul Marsh: Great venue for a works team building event, learnt about cocktails, drank loads and had lots of fun.On my list for a night out next time I am in Berlin.

Patricia Visiedo: Awful. They charged us an extraordinary amount of money just for entering the pub without letting us know in advance. We realised that when we were leaving the place. We were to pay 10.80€. Such was our surprise when we ordered the bill and we were asked to pay 40.80€. One of the waitresses was really comprehensive and she offered us a 10€ discount. In any case our experience was simply awful. We stopped by just for having a drink and we ended up paying a lot of money for nothing. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Nick Alberts: Extremely poor staff. We were with around 50 people so they could have made a lot money out of us, but we weren't treaten with respect. They didn't want to change money (€50) on €20 orders and the waitresses were acting very cranky towards us. If you want to have a good time, don't go here! They will rather frustrate you than take good care of you!

Olivia Jastrzemski: The drinks here were delicious! The bar has a very laid back vibe, but you are able to get on the raised dance floor and dance and request songs from the DJ. There were some people there that had amazing dance moves! Some of the people at the bar though, were kind of sketchy. My friend and I did like the bar though, but would have preferred if the dance floor was not in the middle of the bar.

Yuba Koukou: I have been to many places around the world, and trust this is one of the WORST places o have ever been. First we got in and waited so long to be sitted. Second out waitress was so rude and not friendly at all, we asked her for water and she ignored us, the I asked the bartender and he ignored me, I even asked the manager and she told me sorry we don't have water, what kind of bar doesn't have water!!!. Here is the worst of all, when the server got us the bill she charged us 15 Euros of cover charge that nobody told us about. Berlin is a great city, there is so many other options, so please be smart and stay away from this place, I would of given them -stars but unfortunately I couldn't.

Lorenzo Becker: Some of us weren’t allowed in, and weren’t given a good explanation for it. Furthermore, after we had finished our drinks and waited for our karaoke-song, we were forced to buy more drinks, or else we would be kicked out (although it wasn’t crowded at all). We waited about 2 hours for our karaoke-song, and were skipped many times.

Trinkteufel: what do users think?

Daniel Devine: Was in Berlin (Dec ‘22) for a gig (Shikari in Potsdam) and was looking for rock type bars and this was on our list. Was reasonably sized inside, had a decent selection of drinks and helpful bar staff. Had a fair few locals, and a louder group than us came in and played fusball table, which didn’t bother us, if anything just added to the atmosphere. Music was good, if anything could have been a little louder haha! Overall good experience, would go back again if in the area!

Kjartan Abel: Upon my arrival at Trinkteufel, I was immediately swayed by the pleasant atmosphere. It's easy to see why the pub is so popular with the locals. The ambiance is festive, and they have a good selection of beers. Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It was a bit of a departure for me, as I am more of a synthwave fan, but I have to give it credit for creating a positive atmosphere. During our visit, they had a unique playlist.

Nicolas Balcazar: Das Tor zur Hölle seit 1997. Nice cosy bar in the middle of Kreuzberg. Prices are decent. The atmosphere nice. Attracts all kind of crowds, everybody feel welcome. Special recommendation is the shot called Kettenfett. Combined with a Hausbier vom Fass you can't go wrong.

Ruxandra Grecu: Reminded me of being 20 and going to metal places. There is so much devil imagery and decoration there that it was probably all ready for Halloween. Oh, and the tables have animal print, which is beautiful. It's a nice place to have a beer on a Sunday evening.

Stefan Sothmann: Cool spot right by Kotti, with a good selection of drinks and really cheap beer. Music was a bit too loud, especially after the rush died down but at least it was good music ;) Was also very stuffy, but that's about normal for the time of year.

Sam Roset: Great atmosphere and great music! Can get pretty hot inside but worth coming. Will definitely visit again next time

Alara Erdogan: Don't know the barmaid's name but she had absolute kindness and a great style as well. Cool bar, will definetly come back again

Monica: Great bar, especially if you like punk/oi/hc music, you will feel here as at home

Apache_Duster: A cool punk bar and cool environment

A. A.: Cheap place with good service.Would be great if they play rock songs or common metal (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Megadeath etc..) they play weird metal songs.

Bar Voyage: what do users think?

Monica B: Very nice place. Incredibly cool interior. The people working there are very friendly. NB! Smoking is allowed inside.

Chris Ward: I'm surprised that it took me so long to find this place after five years of living in the district and spending so much time in the Nollendorfkiez, but what a lovely gem. Nice, cosy and comfortable seats await you in a bar that boasts character and, for me anyway, a nostalgic throwback to the more parochial gay bars you tend to find outside cities. There's a personal touch and that doesn't stop with the presentation. The bar staff were extremely welcoming when I entered and even entertained my atrocious accent when speaking German (they spoke to others in English, so those who can't speak German are catered for too). It's a smoking bar, so if that bothers you, you might want to give it a miss. But if not, do pop down and take a look at this place for yourself. It's a wonderfully unpretentious bar that gives you a warm welcome. I'll definitely be coming here more often.

Edwin Van Iersel: Good place easy and chill atmosphere. Friendly people. Cozy atmosphere as in someone's living room.

Andy Scott: Always a delight to visit on my visits to Berlin , laid back and relaxed. Great place for a cold autumn night.

bryan debarbieris: Great hole in the wall bar. Great decor and awesome owners

Patrick Davis: By far the best place to have a drink! Amazing atmosphere, good drinks and everyone is so friendly! I’ll definitely be back here if visiting Berlin!

Maël Le Pinois: The owner is super, very good feeling here, if you go there you can only enjoy ! #LGBTfriendly

Dragan Sreckovic: Perfect outdoor seating on a hot summer day. Great staff as well.

Alper Cetiner: Very friendly service, amazing prices and the cherry side of authentic Berlin experience.

Frode Aardal: Most unhygienic place you can imaging topped with rude personell. Stay away
