Bicycle self-help workshop in Regenbogenfabrik: what do users think?

Fran: Best place to go and fix your bike. I went there after 2 bike mechanics told me my bike was too hard to fix and I should just by a new one. I ended up in this place, not only fixing it, but also learning what was the problem and how to solve it. Very friendly people. The guy took the time to explain everything in English, because of my basic german. Other bike fixers asked for prices between 60€ and 130€. Here I paid 20€. Will definitely come back!

Ihab Sabbah: Super helpful guys , u can find what you need to fix ur bike and u just pay 4 euro per hour .

Dan Kay: I’ve had a bike falling apart, total trash. After 3 hours of work, and 30 euros my bike is good as new. Thanks so much, very friendly guys, definitely recommend coming here, wish there were more places like this!

Velcheti Sivatej: The people are friendly and very reasonable prices, they will guide you in case if you want to learn and repair on your own.

Serhildan Kardes: I think it is a discrimination to just open Thursday to women to repair their bikes. We are all same and human. no gender discrimination

in5inity: Very experienced and motivated people..... great service.....very affordable prices.....they make you do stuff which is great to learn

Rowan Holligan: Best service I have experienced in Berlin! Friendly and knowledgeable: brilliant.

Cristian Muñoz: Nice place. Everyone is helpful. Good vibes only. Learn how to do it yourself.

Nuno Pena: A gem amidst the typical places which often rip you off...thank you!

Johan Etsebeth: Super service! I bought a new bicycle from Bike a way. After a couple of months I had a couple of problems with the bicycle, none of which was Bike a ways fault. They repaired and replaced the problem parts at no additional cost to me. I really appreciate the service from Bike a way and would highly recommend them.

discothequedirector: The best bike place in Berlin!Fast and quality service, super friendly stuff. Highly recommended !!

Little Torch kleh: I bought a beautiful reclaimed bicycle here about two weeks ago and am very happy! Claire du Plessis: Reliable second hand bikes, friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended! Thanks Tom.

Ryan Froese: Great, friendly staff! They quickly helped me find an affordable bike. I really recommend this place. They also did a quick fix to a minor issue the bike had a few days later at no cost. Great shop!

BICICLI Cycling Concept Store: what do users think?

Lucas Damien: Thanks for the help doing a quick fix to my bike for free as I had a hard fall next to the shop. You saved my day and helped me get home safely!

Finn Hardy: Jenny is the best mechanic. She knows exactly what she is doing, and works incredibly fast. I dropped my bike off at 2pm for a tune up and it was ready by 5pm. She’s super friendly and a serious bicyclist herself. Very easy to talk to, and welcomes a walk in. The store itself is also fantastic, these people love bikes. If you’re looking for a premium experience with THE BEST urban bicycles this is the place to be. Seriously the quality of their products is unmatched. Whether you’re looking for a more casual ride, or something serious, the options are there. Overall a very personal experience with great customer service.

Mauricio Lizarazo Prada: Last week I visited Bicicli store and workshop in Berlin with a question about the transmission for my vintage bike. They gave me a great service, professional and detailed information answering my question. I was supposed to leave my bike for them to take a look at it at the workshop in order to gave the right quotation. A couple hours later I returned to pick-up my bike. To my great surprise, they gave the right-price quotation and efficiently solve and fix the transmission on my bike! I’m very happy and satisfied! Thank you!

Aimeric Schaeverbeke: Beautiful bike store !

Florian Herder: Great shopping experience! Both the first seller and the second seller were both super friendly, knowledgeable and funny. :) We even got a coffee that tasted great! Rarely been so pleasantly surprised by a bike shop!

Bikefix: what do users think?

Rafael Medina: It says the shop is open on Google maps but there is actually anyone.

Dylan Pero: Ali gave me a new tire + tube for a fair price in less than an hour, and even let me in to pick it up though I was 30 minutes late after closing. Thank you!!

Eva: Sympathetic owner! I just needed the pump to repair my bike myself, got helpful instructions how to make it easier. No upselling, was respected that I had my own tube and tools and just got a small nod when I asked if I needed to replace my wrecked front tire. Cost me €24 for the outer tire (Schwalbe race tire), help with the repair was free. I ended up hanging out there for a while drinking tea chatting.

Sam: Prices for accessories are off the chart, I naively paid 10 euros each for a (very) poor quality lock chain and a ring bell (which later I both found at BauHaus for half the price). I suggest you do not buy your accessories here.

Thrift'Z'3 Millien: As an Ausländer I am only in certain areas of the city. And although I do not understand Berlin, just moving here, there are still some spots I avoid. Bike fix is NOT one of them. In fact I put myself in y precarious position with this journey since Kottbusser Tor is a bit sketchy. However Ali and Bike Fix service, price and speed can’t be beat. Been to him twice now and I always tip due to his professionalism. Worth the trip from Prenzlauer Berg area.

Paul Schütze: The guy is a little grumpy but he knows what he is doing, is fast, gives good advice and has super fair prices.Just didnt call me when the bike was done - called in myself and all was fine

Folding Bike Shop BOXBIKE | Brompton Premier Store: what do users think?

Lars Marowsky-Brée: Great selection of folding bikes of various high end brands, including in particular Brompton. Very knowledgeable advice and prompt service, including onsite maintenance and tuning. Also a wide range of accessories, from bags to saddles and grips.

Ardee Dionisio: I came today (06.05.2014) to have my Brompton fixed and was gladly helped by Patrick. The service was good and fast. We chatted more about Brompton stuffs. Will definitely visit this place again if ever I am in Berlin next time together with my Brompton. Keep up the good work buddy.

Evan H: Not friendly to unfolding bikes.

Philipp Moeller: Most dedicated team I have ever experienced. Came with no clue and went out with an incredible amount of useful information.

Michaela: Friendly, heplful staff, higly recommend for fellow Brompton-addicted Berliners :-)

Kubis Bike Shop: what do users think?

Dilara Bildik: Great service in this local shop, friendly staff. Complete bike check costs 35€. I’d recommend booking an appointment by call beforehand, since the shop is small and can not take a lot of bikes. They speak German, Turkish and a bit of English.

La Ruta del Trompe: Low budget mafia. I fell 2 times in the same scam with this guys. If you happen to disagree on something on top of robbing, they call you names and threaten you.

Zen dipity: Excellent service! Friendly, prompt and got bike road ready (new brakes, lights fixed & new lock) with quick turnaround (no appointment same day)! Also very reasonable prices. Will definitely go back for future bike needs. Also lots of accessories in range of cost and quality.

Emke: Great place, they give you a good price without negotiating and are very helpful. Nice bikes also!

Corey Olin: After biking for an hour, we discovered that we were rented a bike with faulty brakes. Upon returning the bike, no compensation was offered. Unfortunate, since my previous experience with this company was much better. Last year, I was given two faulty bikes in a row, but I was offered money back for the trouble. Be sure to closely inspect your own bike before riding off, or find yourself out of 8€.

Louis Miller: Got a flat tire and went to exchange the bike. The owner wanted to charge me, and when I questioned him, he refused to fix it or rent me another bike. Price was slightly higher than surrounding bike shops as well by about 2 euro a day. Unhelpful and insulting to foreigners. Did not return the ten euros for the day he shortchanged me. Beware.

Rhianon Bader: Repaired my bike for a very reasonable price and it only took a few hours. Friendly too. I definitely recommend this bike shop.

Tortuga Cycles & Café: what do users think?

Francesco Tazzer: Luca is a competent cyclist with a great passion for his job. I found him by chance when I was looking for a Surly Ogre. We had a long conversation on what I wanted from that bike and he was more than helpful. Few weeks after I had my dream bike with a fantastic set-up. What else? Looking forward to riding together. Ciao.

Malachi: Cycling through the city we noticed our kinder bike trailer had lose spokes on one wheel... Looking for a bike shop close by we stopped here to ask for advice. The owner promptly tightened the spokes which gave us confidence to cycle the remainder of the journey home. Highly recommended!

Kyle Ponce: Excellent bike shop, absolutely in the running for one of the best in Berlin. Luca, the owner, is fantastic and a great mechanic. Shop also organizes group rides. Great way to meet new bike friends! Carb up yall!

Chili Kon Fetti: Small shop with a great shop owner and a very cool mechanic! They do have a small range of parts, but are able to order almost everything you want. You should go there and enjoy a chat with coffee or beer.

Daniele Montemale: They are really nice and professionals. The products are good and prices as well. They speak three languages (Deutsch, Italian, and english) and they offered me a coffee before I asked their help.Really appreciated!

avi michaeli: Best service, professional team,My first choice to fix my bike

Asher: Good to find a honest person with a good sense of humor amoungst all the other types of people in Pankow/Prenzlauer Berg. On top of that, he knows his bikes and good prices

Richard Kiernan: Best bike shop in Berlin. Fantastic service, better people. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Little John Bikes Gesundbrunnen: what do users think?

lisa dyck: I stopped in with a flat tire (on my cargo bike) and although it was late in the day, the guys working there were super helpful, taking time to assess the underlying issue that caused the flat and repairing it quickly at a very minimal charge. I definitely recommend this place.

Ronit Borpujari: Really cool place and really nice guys. Diagnosis was perfect and the repair job was done smoothly. Would recommend 100% ⭐

Ari J Cohen: I called to ask if they have a 9 gear chain for my bike and if they can install it in the place because I had no tool for it. They said that the chain costs 20 euros and at they can do it. I came to the place to find out not only that the chain is more expensive than what they said, but that they would charge me 27 euro (!!!) for the simple chain replacement, a 5 minute job. Their right to charge, so, because the matter was very urgent to me i asked if i can buy the chain and simply borrow the tool for 5 minutes to use it. They refused. Terrible service, expensive prices, will NEVER come in there again.

Harris Roberts: Needed a lock and they had a large selection at fair prices. Staff was helpful.

Will Atherton: Staff has been helpful despite my limited German. An issue came up while they were fixing my bike (due to a fairly obscure component I had) and they were flexible in working with me to ensure I got my bike back on time.

Owen Karrel: Really great shop! Super friendly and attentive guys working there, and they speak English as well. If you have a small problem they can fix it on the fly for just a few euros

Adrian Bueno de Santiago: great staff: they quickly helped me find an odd article at very little cost!

Dr. Robert Peschke: Jeil!

fahrradstation: what do users think?

Sophie Ul: I definitely would not trust this shop again: THE OWNER OFFERED US 30€ IN EXCHANGE OF A 5 STARS ON GOOGLE !!! I hope the other 5 stars are not all faked. We had a bad experience renting 2 touring bikes for a week, and were very disappointed: - one back gear shifter was broken + the bike made a constant metallic noise when cycling + it was over lubricated and very dirty - the gears of the other bike were not adjusted, making it very hard to bike uphill - the mechanic who assisted with the bikes was not helpful, accusing me of not knowing how to use a bike (I traveled the world with a bike :) ), he started to get mad at us. The experience in the shop was long and terrible -the bikes for rent were not the ones advertised on the website Only positive points of this whole experience : - booking online was very easy -the owner refunded us 25 % of the bill (he was willing to do more but in exchange of a 5 star on google)

Caroline Cohen: We hired touring bikes to cycle from Berlin to Copenhagen. The bikes were in good condition and the route was stunning, I would definitely recommend it!

Anna G: I brought my bike here to be serviced after 1 year of standing outside and the service was great! They didn’t try to rip me off by changing every part, they did what was necessary and now my bike is in great condition for only €30!!! Highly recommended! The staff is super nice and fun!

Alyssa D: Completely unhelpful and grumpy old man. Wanted to store our luggage (which was advertised) however he proceeded to just get incredibly angry at us, storming off after we hadn’t already downloaded the app - bearing in mind that we didn’t know we needed to do this prior to dropping off our luggage. Entire experience was utterly awful and we ended up just leaving. Would warn anyone from going to this place - other staff members were equally unhelpful but not as rude. Was also speaking half English and half German - made the conversation very bizarre.

Simon Asp: Berlin - Copenhagen 🚴‍♂️ We had great service at Fahrradstation and got the whole way without major problems. We were a bit late to pick up the bikes so we had to take a bike that had a minor defect. But it was not a problem due to the openness and service from the owner and the team. They also helped us along the way via phonecalls.

Alex Torgersson: Yet another bike repair shop that always adds expenses to the bills. Got my flat tire fixed and then they call to say also wheel has to be completely changed. I say ok and costs me additional €30, then I notice that the same wheel is wobbling, I bring it back and they they say it’s going to be additional €30-40 although i didn’t have that problem before. Sad that I get the feeling that they just want to earn money off you and not find best solution for you and being customer centered.

Laura Lou: Fahrradstation has a huge variety of bicycles - cruiser, electric bikes, kids bikes, tandems, and child carriers. Thomas assisted us in choosing the right bikes for our family. He was extremely patient as we tried several kids bikes and even a bike trailer. We settled on two urban bikes and the Babboe Big. The Babboe Big saved our trip! Our kids are pretty good bike riders. However, they would have been exhausted with the amount of riding we did. In three days we rode through Mitte to Tiergarten to KaDeWe to Kreuzberg, Neukölln, and Friedrichshain. The Babboe Big was easy to ride too. Thank you, Thomas and Fahrradstation!!

But I have no idea how much something like that costs. A bit chaotic shop but a very nice helpful owner just around my corner 👍

Little John Bikes: what do users think?

Colin Coates: Decided to buy new bike helmets while visiting Berlin. Really helpful advice from the staff. Best fitting bike helmets we have ever had.

R M: Whenever we need help with our bicycles, they are here for help. Also they have many options for bicycles.

Frances Ball: I cannot speak highly enough of this bike shop. Every time I have an issue with my bike I come here and they help me fix it for free or sell me the parts for very little cost and let me use their tools to do it myself. They also have a huge selection of the best bike parts and accessories and a pressurized air station out front to fill your tires. I always think I need an expensive new part and they instead show me that I just need to spend €2 on a small part and 5 minutes fixing something. They are very friendly and helpful and speak English as well.

Adire Sodr: After having a real horrible experience at Ella die Zweiräder trying to buy and mount a simple bike bell for my kid (and returning the bell), I happened upon Little John Bikes where I found a nicer, more affordable bell and much better service at Little John Bikes. People have to learn that decent behavior and good customer service mean a whole lot AND the folks at Little John Bikes did that. Thanks

Meg Koch: I realized my new secondhand bike was not aligned properly and making noises, and this was the first bike shop I saw. He looked at my bike, told me it was dangerous and “komplett unfahrbar”, that the replacement parts would be hard to find as it was so old. At least he was honest and told me to go to a bike shop that can repair older bikes (although he couldn’t recommend one). Spoiler: I found one of those shops and he fixed my bike in about 5 min...the wheels just needed to be adjusted and tightened to get everything back in alignment. So, if your bike is older, I’d recommend skipping this place.

John Gilbert: The built a bike for me, when I went to adjust the position myself the handle bar was not tightened (very dangerous).I have found they did not use grease when attaching the pedals either.

Andreas: They don’t speak English and are also very rude.

Schweinhund Bikes: what do users think?

Aaron Weißgerber: Great Bikeshop! They take the time to properly analyse problems/challenges and find solutions to "unsolvable" situations. Some great Bikefreaks😎 Can 100% recommend!

Geraint John: Great, friendly service. Experts with classic bikes like mine. Turnaround very quick. Definitely my new go to. Plus the name is 💯!!

Richard Catty: By far the best bike shop I have found in Berlin. Saw some other comments here saying service is poor, but that has never been my experience. While building up my first ever frame from scratch, I was in the shop several times a week asking advice on how to make a relatively difficult build work. The guys were always amazingly helpful and honest, not just trying to sell me a quick part to get rid of me. Now I have my dream bike, largely thanks to these guys. I go there for most of my bicycle needs now, and repairs are always fast and to a high standard. They also have a really cool range of new bikes, wheelsets, saddles, other parts and proper cool cycling hats. Highly recommend.

:::SHE36:::: If your bike is a family member, that you would trust only in special hands, this is the store I recommend first in Kreuzberg. Also great choice of accessories like bike caps (also local made) and bike racks from my favourite Pelago. These guys are also up to date about cycling events and social rides in Berlin and contribute a lot to the cycling culture, supporting these events. Always pleasure to work with them and be a customer!

Markus Olberz: Terribly unfriendly and unwelcoming. I was insulted by the man with long brown hair after buying some bike lights and asking for help tightening it onto the bike. I definitely wouldn’t recommend. There are so many friendly bike shops in Berlin, take your money anywhere else.

Casper Pages: Top shop, super friendly staff who take their time to explain what you need!

vera cannone: My absolute favorite bikeshop in Berlin! great service and the staff is incredibly qualified and friendly, i will definitely go back! 100% recommended!

laura darbutaite: Super friendly and professional people providing great services.Highly recommended!

Radwelt Berlin Mitte: what do users think?

Brant Wunderlich: Rented some bikes to tour Berlin, rode about 50 km. Was perfect for us as English speaking Canadian tourists. We are serious cyclists at home and were really pleased with the bikes, great condition, and the staff were friendly. Look no further - this is the spot!!

Adriyana Grotseva: I just went to ask if they sell valve caps for tires. The guy there was super nice and explained it is probably from the valve itself the issue. And gave me one for free. Super friendly and nice of him! I’d definitely go there for bike repair that I can’t handle. They also sell different bike parts and accessories.

P. Wan: Last time my bike light was not working, when I brought my bike there, they have checked my bike quickly, it was just simply the loose contact between the wheel and the dynamo, they fixed it in 1 minute without charging me anything, really helpful and professional staff. Nice!

Jirka Hubáček: Great experience. The technician helped me decide for a good bike lock and also did a quick fix on my bicycle. Thank you so much!

Christian Gebhardt: Great service, I came to buy a new lock for my bicycle since the one I bought at another shop did not work anymore. Instead of selling me a new one, they fixed mine without charging me a cent. Great great service!!

Clement YEROCHEWSKI: This is what I call customer service. 10€ and 5min later, you have your fix. Win win. Thanks guys.

Kamil Eden: Well equipped shop with friendly staff
