blues-garage-berlin: what do users think?

enhoe perez: The smoker and no smoker side are well separated which is a big plus for me, I haven't tried the food yet but they have several German dishes, the service is good, there's pool and table football/foosball. As in most places in Berlin, bring cash.

marius andrijauskas: Good music, cheap beer, nice people. Legit.

Gregory Boyd: Brilliant place to play music. My band Gregory Boyd and Urban Island plays s when I’m through Berlin.

Katherine Baloun: Another great place to hang and play music. Super staff

Laura Lichtmaler: A bar that doesn't try to be fancy in any way and is doing a fantastic job at it. Good food, good beer, good live music, good atmosphere. Nice mixes crowd ranging from typical Schoenberg students to typical Schoenberg 60 year olds.

Jeremy Stahl: Went for some music and had a great time. We'll gladly go back.

Scott T: A great bar! Very affordable and the staff were amazing! A great vibe and such an awesome night had here. Definitely worth a look if you’re in Berlin!

Arnold Stricher: Typical Berlinerish. Good variety of food and drinks for a place like this. Went there for sky football and had to pay a fee for it (that is normal for man places)

André B.: I like bars that are honest and don't pretend to be something else. Jam sessions are worth a visit. Great place to watch sport events too.

Jan Piskacek: Great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent schnitzel!

The Hat Bar Berlin: what do users think?

Loay: A nice small jazz bar near the Zoo with daily jam sessions and free entry. Jam sessions start around 8-9pm and go all the way till midnight. It might be tricky to find a seat and smoking is allowed inside so I understand that it's not suitable for everyone. They have really good cocktails but expensive. I always have a good time there when I miss me some good jazz music

Alfredo Marcus: Great vibe, cool musicians jamming. There’s a jam session every evening. I think it starts at 9pm, usually closes at midnight, lasts call 11:30. Cocktails are good bear in mind it’s not a Propper cocktail place where they take their time to craft them. They don’t even shake the sours, they just used hidden shaking smoothies blender. Anyways the waiters are nice and the musicians have the best attitude, one of them even came and chat with us for a bit.

Alaa Mahmoud: One of my favourite bars in Berlin! Live jazz music in the night with very nice musicians, good cocktails, warm lights, I love the atmosphere ❤️
Response: Thank you very much, dear Alaa Mahmoud, for a great review! We're happy that you're happy, and we're looking forward to your next visit to The Hat Bar!

Septi Dwisidi Hapsari: Small jazz club, there’s not too many cocktails choices but totally love the ambiance of the bar, they perform live jazz every night, if you are jazz enthusiasts, you’ll love this place. The place is usually crowded but the service is fast
Response: Septi Dwisidi Hapsari, thank you for the great review! We’re so happy you loved your experience and can’t wait to see you again soon!

Vinihill: The sound quality have high standards. Same for musicians and atmosphere. One thing that really lack quality is the bar service. First the crew need to be trained to look into customers eyes and be aware when someone is ready to ask for something. Second i experienced one of the barman/staff with friends giving more attention to his friends than the business and other customers itself... You guys have a good place but a lot to improve regarding good service. Like really basic stuff that some regular pubs have better. Especially if someone have parcial disability and can't be moving around easily.

Met Usa: A very cool bar under the train tracks with live jazz music almost (maybe) everyday. Great cocktails, good sounds system. Maybe they can improve their air circulation a bit better if they keep letting people smoke inside

Yvette Watt: I have heard great things about this little jazz club, and so I was excited to finally get there on my last night of (this) trip to Berlin. But, unfortunately, I wasn't aware that smoking is allowed. This is such a great club in every other way; the music was excellent, the cocktail I had and the service were really good, it's a great setting, and there is no entry fee, but I just couldn't stay because of the cigarette and cigar smoke. (And I read a response here that they have a good ventilation system - well it was either broken or that is total nonsense). I would go back in a flash if they changed the smoking policy, but until then I sadly would need to give it a miss.

Marcio Pezzo: The great band, outstanding cocktails and cool atmosphere make this a place one of my favorites in Berlin.
Response: Dear Marcio Pezzo, we highly appreciate your positive review!

Matilda Gromeier: I've been longing to go to this place for a while, and all my expectations were surpassed. Hidden under the S-Bahn, the occasional rumbling with the neon signs and dimly lit room streaked in cigarette smoke really set the atmosphere. The bartenders were all extremely welcoming and especially well mannered, the drinks are curated classics with their own twist. I especially liked the policy of free entry for slightly pricier cocktails, to me it's a very democratic choice. And of course, the live performance almost had me in tears from happiness. I couldn't help but dance and swing a little. A mystical, musical place where I left a little of my heart. Can't wait to be back.

Documentaries Short: The actual place is too small and unconfortably narrow shaped, isn’t cosy but soulless.Pretentious place, unreasonable prices, joyless staff. Good music indeed but Old-school jazz bar it is definitely NOT.
Response: Hallo, Documentaries Short! Since we are not sure if you are a real person who has ever visited our establishment, please contact us personally via email mail@thehatbar.de, and we would be happy to discuss the issue at your earliest convenience.

Yorckschlösschen: what do users think?

Istvan Vastag: Old school music bar with a decent drink menu (more than a few whiskeys). Service was good. Smoking is allowed but didn't feel/smell like a smoker bar. Definitely worth a visit (overall a pretty good vibe). I'll visit again, try some of the food, and maybe I'll up to 5 stars.
Response: Thank you!!

Bharathi Srinivasan: Very poor ventilation on summer days and you can't open the windows, just sit together in a packed room in sweltering heat. The place is quite small, gets packed every night and I understand the service staff have their hands full, but one of them was quite rude and this was very off putting. The waitress for our table was very empathetic and delightful to interact with, but the one who was seating us when the bar was completely empty at 6 pm would barely listen to our requests before saying 'No'. The food sometimes nails it and the last time I really enjoyed it. This time it was quite average and not worth what you pay for it
Response: Thank you. Nest time you maybe sit better outside in our beergarden. Sorry for the rude waiter, it was mabe also too hot for him...

Prasad Gone: Wonderful old jazz bar where you can enjoy a locally brewed beer and live music in a buzzing and often busy spot. The decor is eclectic and really makes the place that bit more special. I suggest to reserve the table before the place busy during weekends.
Response: Thank you!

oğuzhan karacüllü: Small and friendly place for a jazz night. Dinner was also quite tasty. Your should definitely give a shot to steak. Also they had good wine opportunities. Only problem is service is slow and the place was really congested and crowded. Without reservation it’s impossible to find a table. Staff was friendly and they can speak English good enough. Recommend this place for a night out with friends.
Response: Thank you!

Frances Piper: Got the potatoes and schnitzel, potatoes all garlic and oily and herby, really delicious, comfort food with a guiness type beer. like a good pub with home cooked food. and kind staff.
Response: Thank you!!

Septi Dwisidi Hapsari: I suggest to reserve a table if you really want to sit indoor and watch the live performance. I had to sit outside and can’t really enjoy the music, but if you go with friends and just wanna drink and hang out, it won’t be a problem. Service staff were fast and attentive even though it’s full
Response: Thank you!

Cristina Delgado: I love live music and that was great, but the waiter ruined our experience there. Most rude person I ever meet. We raise the hand to call him, I think in a normal way when people can not hear because of the noise around, he arrived after a while and tell us “you are in Germany and you do not call waiters here with your hand, that is un-polite, next thing he says “welcome to Germany”, and then he says “you need to thank me because I say welcome”… at some point I thought he was joking as I could not believe what was happening. After that he ask us to order and we order food, his reaction was to say “did you ask me first if kitchen was open”… I couldn’t believe how a person like this is working as customer service.
Response: First I want to apologize for this person. I am deeply saddened to have someone like that on our team, but unfortunately I don't know exactly who is meant. Such statements are in any case not typical for us and unacceptable. Please don't judge us based on this experience alone.

Ignacio Gonzalez: Okay, chill place. Nice environment. Quality price okay for being german cuisine. Thr flammküchen was a bit salty.
Response: Thanks!

Loreena A: The older waiter is super cold and rude. Can speak perfect English to ask for the tip but cannot be bothered to do the rest of the service in English.Wonder if it's because he heard we were French? 🤨
Response: Sorry Loreena, thats very pity :-( I will talk to him.... Du you mean the whole place or just the waiter with just one Star?

Marcello Sforza: Worst customer experience ever! That's a total shame because the live music and food are so great and not expensive at all. The waiter offended us the whole time just because I politely rose my hand for catching his attention (we were waiting for 20 minutes just to order something and the place was super crowded). After, he wanted to reject my order because I didn't ask him if the kitchen was still open (it was 9 pm on a Friday). In the end, he touched my shoulders in a very provocative way and told me "Welcome to Germany!" I can't still believe that a great place like this has such rude and gross personnel. Shame on you!
Response: I would like to apologize for this stupid behavior of the cellar. But this is not typical for us. Please don't judge us only on this bad experience. I am very upset about that. Unfortunately I don't know exactly who is meant.

Zig Zag Jazz Club Berlin: what do users think?

RedFox L: Small place but great vibes. Service is really good and nice. Better to get tickets in advance for concerts. Drinks are average, I had a flat fizzy drink, it seemed that the bottle was opened long time ago.

Shoaib Bhatti: The place is cozy and have a particular vibe to it. Lovely atmosphere. I went to attend jazz event. The band plays every Tuesday. First session was played by the band and it was amazing. For the second session after the short break, they let the new musicians to showcase their talent. Everyone deserved a round of applause.

Fariba Fathi: Live jazz music, friendly staff, cozy environment, comfortable seat place. But the cocktail price is a little high and they don't have complete snack menu.

Lucy Wendon: What. A. Fantastic. Place. I’ve sang jazz for most of my life (since I was 10) and have visited many jazz clubs in the UK and abroad. This club is my favourite of all time. Friendly service, AMAZING musicians - check them out seriously, Babylon Orchestra. WOW! Could have watched them all day every day. They had special guests, Ukrainian musicians playing with them along with an American drummer, Spanish trombonist…NEXT LEVEL AWESOME. We hope to visit again very soon. Also look out for the cool bar/pub on the corner of the block just before you get to Zig Zag for a couple of beers beforehand. The landlord is brilliant. Perfect 10/10.

Krystyna Levy: The venue is great! Sound, atmosphere, hospitality all first class. Last night's music with Phil Robson/ Jed Levy group was wonderful, great band that made their tuneful original music accessible and inclusive to the audience. Great interplay and they all played their hearts out! Hope they will be back soon!

Wendy M K Shaw: A sweet club with lovely staff and great music, what more could you want? Its decor has an excellent balance between clean and traditional, so you both love the ambiance and feel entirely at ease. Loved it, and definitely will go back!

idil öztürk: I have to say that I really love this place, it has a very warm atmosphere, friendly owner & staff and of course great music. It just feels like home with their cozy sofas, I missed their super funky soul Wednesdays especially with the one and only Ingrid Arthur. Will definitely be visiting again this August!

hussam ahmed: The music was great, the place is cozy, and the waiters are friendly. Really enjoyed my time. One thing that may be needed is adding some more cushions on the seats and the back seating area to make it more comfy. Setting upright 90 degrees for two hours is painful

Gary Craggs: On holiday in Berlin I had two fabulous evenings at ZigZag. The ambience of the small club was perfect, with varied seating for perhaps 40 people, in an intimate setting, and really added to the enjoyment of the live shows. Both the band and the jam sessions were musically skilled and highly entertaining. The staff of the club on both occasions couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive, even when muzzled by covid face masks. I left both nights grinning and I fully intend making ZigZag a part of my future trips to Berlin.

mohamed gamal: The place is amazing, very good vibes and musicians! But had so bad experience with getting seats. Despite it's mentioned in the website that first in first served and I arrived early, they didn't allow us to sit on proper seats and said they're booked (which is not the fact.. but I knew that late after I asked again). It ended up sitting on the bar seats which are neither comfortable nor proper for 1 hour concert!

b flat Acoustic Music & Jazz Club: what do users think?

Jackie Hibbert: First night in Berlin, booked ahead for this fab jazz club. Seated up front listening to Afro Cuban music. Great cocktails and a smooth vibe. Highlyrecommend🙂

nuria huguet: Good live jazz shows almost every night during the week! I recommend you to make a reservation, via phone, so you have a little table on the front and can enjoy it better! A place I will return to everytime I'm in Berlin.

Jordan Parker: This is an interesting place. Entry for the gig nights seems a bit steep (£15) given the band/acoustic quality of the venue. Also they seem to only have one person working tables which is a bit odd! Very nice, but ends up feeling like it's all a bit sub-par given the prices and quality of cocktails, but I can imagine that on most nights this place is very good!

Mircea Sulger: Nice place for a jazz night, good cocktails, value for money and nice staff. Recommend to book in advance if you want a seat in front of the stage.

Yuan Joyce: Wednesday night 9pm entrance fee is 2Euro per person. Usually pack before 830 so do arrive early to get seats. After 10pm have audience usual jam session

Dan: Great little bar with a live jazz jam session on a Wednesday. You can't book a table and by the time it starts at 21:00 there's barely even standing room left, so get there early. It's €2 and the cocktails are all €6 until 21:30. A great mid week spot

Siwon Kim: It's a great place for those who love jazz. It's not like many jazz bars where jazz is the background music and you're free to have conversation with others. It's more of a small recital area that serves drinks. So not the place to go if you want to listen to some jazz while socialising with friends through conversation. It's cash only, and the drinks aren't so good - so I'd recommend sticking with beer or wine.

Dayner: Had a great time seeing a Latin Jazz band in this small venue. Nice cocktail menu as well. Best to make a reservation. One star removed for not accepting card.

Adam Hopton: Went to the jam night on our first evening in Berlin and wanted to change all our plans so we could go every night. Such a cool vibe. Great drink prices too. We'll be coming back next time we're in Berlin

Don Mitchell: In a funky part of town near lots of things. Cash only. The most comfortable of the 3 Berlin jazz clubs I went to. Vaulted brick ceilings, fairly large stage, decent seating that's not threadbare. I ordered a side car but I think they served a bad vodka screwdriver, ugh. Just get the bier or wein. For the group I heard, the balance was way off, but idk if that's the venue's problem or the band's. The guitar and sax were muffled sonically behind the drums and bass.

Ellysol: A friend took me here one Monday evening for a blues jam... Wow! What a great atmosphere and really good musicians. Very nice experience on a Monday evening ☺️ Recommended the local craft beer!

Stericast “Very random name” Essevako: What a lovely local bar! The atmosphere was nice on the terrace, the neighborhood seemed calm and fellow customers were just casually sipping their drinks instead of taking shots to get wasted. The bartender was very friendly, even with a little bit limited English and recommended us a super fresh local beer from just a few blocks away which was really tasty! Oh and price-wise? This seems like a bar with local-level prices instead of tourist-prices, with a pint of good beer costing less than 3-4€! Strong recommendation :)

Janne Timmer: My favorite venue for live blues music! On monday they host a great jamsession. Very nice crowd and always someone nice to talk to. Fun to go with friends but maybe even better on your own!

Jan-Willem Reijkers (Jan): I love this place! Especially on Monday's, when they have this Jazz Monday Jam thing going on! What a great evening!!

Justine Auguste: Fair++ Guinness, lovely staff and good crowed

Sevinç Durgut: One of my favourite neukolln bars. Very friendly environment. I love monday jam sessions. Totally recommended!

Bilana Torres: Cult classic bar... Neukölln wouldn't have been the same without ot! <3

marius andrijauskas: Nice staff, good live music, cheap drinks.

Tamar Priel: Best homely bar. Great music, great people, simple and cheap drinks, great staff members. Our regular place.

Al Baptist: I mean, that bar that you finally call a bar, good for feierabend and good to smash your blues away next to professionals of all ages, a small place of peace fir everyone, a godless church to feel part it with no ties to stay or leave when u want. They put the H to the D in the HOOD.

Cartney P: Great jazz but unfortunately another smoking bar in Berlin. The dog, Lucy, was cute.
Response: Thank you 🙏🙏❤️ edit: we now have an exhaust system.

Varsha Venkatesh: SUCH A COOL BAR. And it's always open apparently. Alwaaays. I also love whacky decor in there. It's a really fun place to hangout.
Response: 😃 thank you 🍻❤️

Branka Bačić: Very good bar, sadly too smoky even by my standards.
Response: 😘

Sanja Pocrnjić: Came here on the first day in Berlin; a very warm and friendly place, relaxed and very very friendly, accommodating hosts/staff. A couple of other people joined in the evening, and we had a blast! Prices are really fair, and there is a slice pizza place next to it, so perfect combo. A special thank you to the kind sir who was there that day, for the beer recommendations and corn snacks! 10/10 am visiting again 🍻
Response: Thank you 😊

Ars Punx: Such a lovely bar with a really good selection of beer! It has Kicker and darts. Also jukebox👌 nicely mixed public. Some old Berliners and young people.
Response: ❤️🍺 thank you

Katherine Baloun: One of my favorite bars in Berlin. It reminds me of when I first arrived in Berlin in the 90's. Ohne schnick schnack. Great staff!
Response: Thank you Kat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You are one of our favorite guests and blues artists ❤️🍺

Simon Puleo: I went on a Tuesday night to check out the local Gypsy Jazz / Django scene. A group of talented musicians were playing standards at top speed. The almost prolific bass player told me he learned playing "on the streets", almost internal sense of music. Good inexpensive drinks and straight forward bar keep treated all customers to shots that tasted like bloody marys on the house. Look up at the doorway for the Django posters and other Jazz memorabilia. Play a round of foose ball. Friendly place.

Samuel Alem: Best Bar in Kreuzberg with live music Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cool staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Love this place
Response: 😍

Milad Miri: Lovely place, every Tuesday Jazz music and every Thursday Blues session
Response: ❤️ Thank you for the review and for the many great photos you sent us 💪🍻

Marck Ernest: One of the oldest Kneipe in Berlin. Urban is an institution! They have cheap drinks, good atmosphere, and great music!
Response: 🙏👍

Donau115: what do users think?

Korhan Erel: I always liked Donau, both as a musician who played there a couple of times and as a listener. Tonight, the two people running the venue turned a wonderful concert by Hilde into a terrible experience. One of them screamed at the audience who were standing outside during the break - including the musicians who were playing. He was definitely the loudest and possibly irritated the neighbors more than us. Then, as soon as the concert ended, before the audience could really enjoy the wonderful feeling after Hilde’s performance, the same screaming person made a very loud announcement that they were short on staff and were closed. We were forced to leave the bar and when we confronted them about their disrespectful attitude, they were extremely rude. Horrible people who certainly should not be allowed to work there. I am deeply disappointed. The musicians who played there were also irritated and had hardly any time to relax after their concert and have a drink with their friends. Terrible experience, really. On my boycott list as venues in Berlin (which is a very short list)

Annette Vogel: Very crowded open mic, great audience! Every body is listening to the artists, all kind of levels, i really enjoyed it

T B: Best place in town: nice drinks, usually good music and great vibe. Just don’t go on Tuesday. Open stage isn’t worth it Unless your kids or friends are on stage.

Norman Wieder: Nice and friendly music bar. Saw Greg Cohen once, will come back over someday soon for sure ^^

Annah: Musicians were very good, also couldn't confirm bad reviews wrt staff. I found the interactions very nice. The donation thing (going around with a jar while during the concert) is a bit annoying but I think this way is probably the way people give most, so understandable that they do it like that. It was super nice that there was no smoking inside during the concert. I wish more places implemented that. After the concert it was allowed to smoke inside though.

laura desirée di paolo: Loved it! The guys behind the counter are super nice, music is fantastic...

brendon neuhaus: One of the best secrets in Berlin. It is all about the music here. Top musicians, great bartenders, intimate atmosphere, fair prices.

Rebecca Laulan: Crowded, good music. The music fees is free but start at 10e

Lili Koss: I love the place and the musicians they are inviting. I am stopping by every week or two. The only unpleasant moment is when they cut the act to announce the 'open donation' which is an entrance fee in the end and as such they can charge it at the door and still leave the jar for more donations afterwards. I believe this will be much less annoying than making us listening about the difficult situation during corona again and again in the middle of the act and then distracting us all while gathering the money which is during the actual performance.

Manuel Ibarra: Musicians are really good, they don’t deserve the rating but the teenagers working there are really rude. They have 0 interest in their work. They simply don’t care. If you don’t mind getting a rude bad service then you’ll be ok.

Speiches Rock and Blues Kneipe: what do users think?

pronins: The bar itself is ok, not very clean and really hot in summer when crowded. The bartenders are generally ok as well, although I’ve had a few negative experiences - depends on the day, I suppose. Their tap beer selection is rather limited, unfortunately. The live bands I’ve heard weren’t great, to be honest, so it’s just a regular neighborhood pub, if you happen to be in the area.

P. (I like my species): Sat outside. Inside the athmosphere seemed buzzing. Awesome place with guitars and basses stuck to the ceiling. before the pandemic I would have sat inside, but it was so full you could only stand. I loved the music and the athmosphere. Beer was good and the spirits were high. :-) will be back sometime

Em Si: This is a great place to enjoy your evening. The atmosphere is great and, great service and the prices are more than fair. (I was actually unsure i paid enough, with the price I had to pay at the end of the night)

Alex Gabriel: Wow…. I just had the most unexpected unpleasant thing in this bar.. so there’s an abusive bartender that yelled at me and my girlfriend for wanting to pay, our drinks as well as the host “the person who places you on a table” very aggressive and disrespectful.. The musicians where feeling pressured and the whole vibe is just pushed.. fake do to this man.. He pushes people to pay for the music, and if is not enough of his expectations he will make a comment on how much you put in the bag (witch is not even his job to do) feeling bad for the musicians because they don’t deserve such a disrespectful and greedy host..

TVD: A great bar for blues music fans. Has a cracking pool/billiards table and electronic dart board. Good selection of spirits. Music is great. Smoking is permitted here and can be a real smoke screen, only reason it didn't get 5 stars.

Fabienne Seiam: Very nice experience. Everyone there is friendly and beer is cheap. Besides, what’s not to love about live bands!Smoking is allowed inside cause it’s a ‘Kneipe’. Very cozy place!

Shahab Nian: Live Jazz is great. The pool table in the other room is also good, but the table is crooked.Only downside is that people smoke inside, your whole body stinks afterwards

Manuel Blánquez Martínez: Perfect spot to enjoy live music and drinks.Probably not the best option for you if you don't like smoke, there's a strong smell of cigarrete smoke inside as it is a small place and it is allowed yo smoke inside.Enjoyed the music!

jacob bedgood: We missed the live music but the atmosphere was brilliant. The drink service was impeccable.

Alexander Ens: Very very cool place with excellent music on Sundays. Beer has a fair price :) This has been a discovery in Berlin (met one of the musicians randomly at a Sunday afternoon lindy hop dancing session in a park. Ah Berlin <3). Next time I'm there I'll definitely go back.

Bradley Wilson: Went to a free comedy night here which is hosted every Sunday and it was a great experience. I could see myself coming here week in week out as I'm a big fan of the choice of beers, the personal feel to the shows as it's a cosy size for a venue and the comedy itself!

Anne Bosveld: Nice place with very well prepared drinks. Nice live music as well!

Kjetil Nilsen: Awesome bar! Small but vibrant, yet a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Really good drinks, the bartenders are skilled. They have live music sometimes and the band we saw was awesome.

Steve Greenfield: Great small venue, I saw a stand up show here which was in English and pretty funny. Will go back. Also good size to try out material if you are a comic.

Dragos Ardeleanu: Amazing evening, amazing talented young band.

Aurélie Shapiro: Great little place with wonderful cocktails. But it’s narrow and crowded near the bar-watch out for pickpockets!

A.J.C.: Great wine selection, cosy place , recommended for a date

Sam Hughes: Great little bar that has a nice comedy night every Sunday. Would recommend

San San Chow: Spacious. Weekly live jazz performance. Friendly service. Beverage prices are above average. Pitcher (1.5l) is served here! Check this place out if you're into jazz performances. Will definitely come back again
Response: Hello San San, We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for taking the time to rate us! We are already looking forward to your next visit! 🎷

Roy F: The music show was good. But there is not enough room to sit and sitting chairs and corner/wall sitting places are very uncomfortable.

john allen: Can't believe I found this online is this the same club that i used to go to in the 60s more traditional jazz in them days always a great atmosphere it's when I was stationed in Berlin 65 to 69
Response: Hello John, Thank you very much for your kind words. We are honoured that you have visited us again after so many years.🎷

Slavena Ruseva: Really good place - a bit pricey but it was worth it! Cocktails were great and the terrace was super cozy and quiet even though it’s a busy street outside. The deserts were good, too. Definitely recommend.

Bairavi Subramoney: I went there for drinks. I must say it was just ok. The cocktails were overpriced - 11€ for a Mai Tai and 9 € for a fruity creamy frozen rum cocktail. They also took extremely long just to bring us three cocktails-I think we waited 20 min and the place was near empty. The cocktails weren't even well presented, with my drink spilling over the brim of the glass and creating puddles on the table. Having said that, the waiter was pleasant, the cocktails were decent enough and the ambience is conducive to a group wanting a chat.

Tony Brock: The open air entertainment was good, but the upstairs bar prices were high and the personnel were rude and unproffessional. Never again!

Arunima Raigar: Nice atmosphere and really good drinks. They make fantastic cocktails!

Karina Lewicka: Good live music, very good drinks although sometimes you have to wait a bit for them, they're worth it!

Сєрьожа Моржов: I really like the place! dj Fernando was lit 🔥 minus one star cuz the bathroom didn't impress me at all. it should be at the same level with the bar! white walls umhhhhh-- NO. anyway good af!
Response: Thank you very much for your Feedback 🎷

Alex: Super relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to relax and enjoy your drink.
Response: Hello Alex, thanks for the kudos - I'll be happy to pass it on to the whole team as well. See you hopefully soon again at Quasimodo 🎷

Paweł Marcinkiewicz: What a surprise on last Friday night The Composers' Orchestra Berlin gave such a great concert! What was really marvellous was the variety of the music conceived by so many different artists, in so many different styles. And the final 'Hail of Stars' proved their great mastery. A the club itselt is very nice, with affordable prices. I strongly recommend it for all fans of live, intelligent music!

Kasper J: Walked down the street. Saw a sign for jazz. Followed few more signs. Open door. Nobody at entrance, music in progress, we go in and see a big band finish off playing, very nice. We then ask the person in the bar (older gentleman) if we can still get a drink, and are met with a super rude dismissal that it's for people who appreciates the music, and that this is not a Kneipe.

Youju (youju_j): * Check the website before you visit.(awesome jazz band list is waiting for you🤩) * Reservation recommended (it’s a quite big place compared to other jazz bars. So you still might find bar seats even though you didn’t book the night, but nice places are usually occupied by customers with reservations. * For most people, such as myself (who have a poor sense of direction), it may be difficult to find the entrance through google maps. If you are somehow entering a road between buildings, and you feel like “Am I going well...? “ . Then that’s right feeling. just walk one minute more ! ) * Bring your student ID card , If you are a student you will receive up to 5 euros discount ! * Nice snacks + reasonable prices for drinks 🍷 * Friendly Staff * Good Location : Under 5 min from U6 Naturkundemuseum *** I would like to recommend this place to anyone who is going to visit a Jazz Bar for the first time. 🐱 : Schlot has a quiet crowd, that likes to listen instead of talking, much like the crowd you would find at a concert.

Charline P (Truck): I really like here. Nice music nice location. Most important, not as crowded as some too famous Jazz Club in Berlin. Good management.

John Abarshi: Cosy underground jazz club with a heart. Low key vibes where the musical artistry really shines through. Additionally super nice staff! The manager gave me a free drink after a misunderstanding. Visitors will need to provide proof of vaccination or negative test <24hrs like many places in Berlin.

Olesya Sachenko: Awesome experience! Good music, good vibe, reasonably priced. The entrance fee was 13€, soft drinks 2-3€, a glass of wine 4€, peanuts 1€, cheese plate 7€. but you’re not obligated to order anything.

Noheir El Adly: I came here with a group of friends and we had a great night. The place has history as it used to be an old lamps factory, the first one was produced here. Check the side decoration windows. The ambient and acoustics are great. Staff is friendly drinks prices are very reasonable. Wine at 3€ and a good Aperol for 5€. There are free entry evenings during the week, we came at a night and paid 13€/ticket. One can make reservations as it could be full. Check their website for programs. Not good for wheelchair users. Toilets are ok.

Johan van Ieperen: Big band. Not expensive at all. Maybe you need to make a reservation and be there at least 30 minutes beforehand.

Donna Lay: We visited on a Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised by a performance going on that night. I liked the vibe of the space, and the music was so very wonderful. Nice to see a diverse age group in the audience as well. I will definitely visit again, the next time we are in Berlin!

Natasa Davenport: Cool place with jazz music. Entry is 10eur at 8PM or 5 EUR after 9PM. Band that played when we were there wasn't that good, but after the band cleared out, there was a person playing piano - and he was great!

Luana Ma.Be.: Original German Kneipe, but also Restaurant and special Jazz Cafè. The vintage athmosphere of professional jazz musicians in Berlin. Yesterday was the turn of Lionel Haas Band, Lionel is one of the talented jazz piano in Berlin more than 20 years on the Berlin scene. Look at the program he plays, there is here at B. again and in other jazz cafes.

Rochi Moran: We just stopped by randomly for a beer and were very happily surprised by the nice atmosphere and super friendly service! We’ll definitely be stopping by again, hopefully to listen to some live jazz!

Diederik Hammer: Good (German) food, good beer, nice atmosphere. So if you are the neighborhood and fancy some, go here.

Noel Fernandes: Love this place as it has a really cool vibe. Before Corona the place had live jazz bands playing. I miss those times but otherwise, it's still a great place with good service. I always feel like home here.

Sylvia Lotz: Great jazz music venue. Staff could be friendlier, but admitably it was really busy.Ok for a quick bite, good beer.

Erik Wilde: Great local music club which has several concerts throughout the week. We were there for “blues wednesday” and it was absolutely wonderful. Not very crowded and I hope that usually, they have better attendance. Drinks and food are ok, but don’t expect anything special or fancy.

Alexander Collo: The only club in Berlin where you can have real jazz and soul. No hipsters, no wannabe-intellectuals, just good jazz. The great music compensates for the small size of the location!

Marcus Monroe: Good Jazz, Soul, Blues 'd Funk along with very friendly Service and F&B! Small but fine place.

Dwight Jones: The best in the west 😎💯👌🏿Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Xanyar Kamangar: Cool, local jazz cafe/bar. Pleasant staff. Acoustics could be better...

Nicole Hi: Pretty swell ambience, with live jam sessions which is pretty dope! Drinks are a bit pricier but still in a very good range! Nice, chill place! Definitely coming back!

Paul Neumann: Awesome! Ive learned all about music just by enjoying various moments with all kinds of musicians, had great conversations and the crew is always down for some spectacular deep talk. Since 5 years this Bar is a real win for my whole life! Thanks dudes. <`3
Response: It was a pleasure

Huong Tra Duong: Tap beer, live music and best crowd in Berlin. Beautiful place! My favorite around Berlin <3

Tuba Iqbal: This place has very cool vibes and ambience with live music.

Samsung Hanna: Super, amazing, authentic music and atmosphere...Advice to all.....

Lorpsmet: We had so much fun here! Great musique, great people and great vibes! The owner of the place is very nice and welcoming like the rest of the staff! We will be coming back next time we are in berlin! /girls from sweden

A PF: Great bar in district Wedding.Good drink prices.Live music.Worth a visit!

Marco Boerner: Great cosy little place! Prices are okay too, instruments everywhere, staff is awesome, guests are chilled. Only little thing that would make it a bit better for me personally would be a slightly better drink selection. Basics like dark rum for mix drinks like Captain Morgen or Coke Zero or light would be great.. ;)

Joan Aponte: Great bar and great staff !Awesome spot 2 hang out with your folks !They do have alive music tooHighly recommended

Noor al amin: So Cool, I will go again
