Yorckschlösschen: what do users think?

Prasad Gone: Wonderful old jazz bar where you can enjoy a locally brewed beer and live music in a buzzing and often busy spot. The decor is eclectic and really makes the place that bit more special. I suggest to reserve the table before the place busy during weekends.

oğuzhan karacüllü: Small and friendly place for a jazz night. Dinner was also quite tasty. Your should definitely give a shot to steak. Also they had good wine opportunities. Only problem is service is slow and the place was really congested and crowded. Without reservation it’s impossible to find a table. Staff was friendly and they can speak English good enough. Recommend this place for a night out with friends.

Frances Piper: Got the potatoes and schnitzel, potatoes all garlic and oily and herby, really delicious, comfort food with a guiness type beer. like a good pub with home cooked food. and kind staff.

Septi Dwisidi Hapsari: I suggest to reserve a table if you really want to sit indoor and watch the live performance. I had to sit outside and can’t really enjoy the music, but if you go with friends and just wanna drink and hang out, it won’t be a problem. Service staff were fast and attentive even though it’s full

Cristina Delgado: I love live music and that was great, but the waiter ruined our experience there. Most rude person I ever meet. We raise the hand to call him, I think in a normal way when people can not hear because of the noise around, he arrived after a while and tell us “you are in Germany and you do not call waiters here with your hand, that is un-polite, next thing he says “welcome to Germany”, and then he says “you need to thank me because I say welcome”… at some point I thought he was joking as I could not believe what was happening. After that he ask us to order and we order food, his reaction was to say “did you ask me first if kitchen was open”… I couldn’t believe how a person like this is working as customer service.

Ignacio Gonzalez: Okay, chill place. Nice environment. Quality price okay for being german cuisine. Thr flammküchen was a bit salty.

Speiches Rock and Blues Kneipe: what do users think?

pronins: The bar itself is ok, not very clean and really hot in summer when crowded. The bartenders are generally ok as well, although I’ve had a few negative experiences - depends on the day, I suppose. Their tap beer selection is rather limited, unfortunately. The live bands I’ve heard weren’t great, to be honest, so it’s just a regular neighborhood pub, if you happen to be in the area.

P. (I like my species): Sat outside. Inside the athmosphere seemed buzzing. Awesome place with guitars and basses stuck to the ceiling. before the pandemic I would have sat inside, but it was so full you could only stand. I loved the music and the athmosphere. Beer was good and the spirits were high. :-) will be back sometime

Em Si: This is a great place to enjoy your evening. The atmosphere is great and, great service and the prices are more than fair. (I was actually unsure i paid enough, with the price I had to pay at the end of the night)

Alex Gabriel: Wow…. I just had the most unexpected unpleasant thing in this bar.. so there’s an abusive bartender that yelled at me and my girlfriend for wanting to pay, our drinks as well as the host “the person who places you on a table” very aggressive and disrespectful.. The musicians where feeling pressured and the whole vibe is just pushed.. fake do to this man.. He pushes people to pay for the music, and if is not enough of his expectations he will make a comment on how much you put in the bag (witch is not even his job to do) feeling bad for the musicians because they don’t deserve such a disrespectful and greedy host..

Fabienne Seiam: Very nice experience. Everyone there is friendly and beer is cheap. Besides, what’s not to love about live bands!Smoking is allowed inside cause it’s a ‘Kneipe’. Very cozy place!

Shahab Nian: Live Jazz is great. The pool table in the other room is also good, but the table is crooked.Only downside is that people smoke inside, your whole body stinks afterwards

jacob bedgood: We missed the live music but the atmosphere was brilliant. The drink service was impeccable.

Katherine Baloun: Another great place to hang and play music. Super staff

Scott T: A great bar! Very affordable and the staff were amazing! A great vibe and such an awesome night had here. Definitely worth a look if you’re in Berlin!

Arnold Stricher: Typical Berlinerish. Good variety of food and drinks for a place like this. Went there for sky football and had to pay a fee for it (that is normal for man places)

Jan Piskacek: Great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent schnitzel!

The Hat Bar Berlin: what do users think?

Alfredo Marcus: Great vibe, cool musicians jamming. There’s a jam session every evening. I think it starts at 9pm, usually closes at midnight, lasts call 11:30. Cocktails are good bear in mind it’s not a Propper cocktail place where they take their time to craft them. They don’t even shake the sours, they just used hidden shaking smoothies blender. Anyways the waiters are nice and the musicians have the best attitude, one of them even came and chat with us for a bit.

Alaa Mahmoud: One of my favourite bars in Berlin! Live jazz music in the night with very nice musicians, good cocktails, warm lights, I love the atmosphere ❤️

Septi Dwisidi Hapsari: Small jazz club, there’s not too many cocktails choices but totally love the ambiance of the bar, they perform live jazz every night, if you are jazz enthusiasts, you’ll love this place. The place is usually crowded but the service is fast

Met Usa: A very cool bar under the train tracks with live jazz music almost (maybe) everyday. Great cocktails, good sounds system. Maybe they can improve their air circulation a bit better if they keep letting people smoke inside

Marcio Pezzo: The great band, outstanding cocktails and cool atmosphere make this a place one of my favorites in Berlin.

Documentaries Short: The actual place is too small and unconfortably narrow shaped, isn’t cosy but soulless.Pretentious place, unreasonable prices, joyless staff. Good music indeed but Old-school jazz bar it is definitely NOT.

Zig Zag Jazz Club Berlin: what do users think?

RedFox L: Small place but great vibes. Service is really good and nice. Better to get tickets in advance for concerts. Drinks are average, I had a flat fizzy drink, it seemed that the bottle was opened long time ago.

Shoaib Bhatti: The place is cozy and have a particular vibe to it. Lovely atmosphere. I went to attend jazz event. The band plays every Tuesday. First session was played by the band and it was amazing. For the second session after the short break, they let the new musicians to showcase their talent. Everyone deserved a round of applause.

Lucy Wendon: What. A. Fantastic. Place. I’ve sang jazz for most of my life (since I was 10) and have visited many jazz clubs in the UK and abroad. This club is my favourite of all time. Friendly service, AMAZING musicians - check them out seriously, Babylon Orchestra. WOW! Could have watched them all day every day. They had special guests, Ukrainian musicians playing with them along with an American drummer, Spanish trombonist…NEXT LEVEL AWESOME. We hope to visit again very soon. Also look out for the cool bar/pub on the corner of the block just before you get to Zig Zag for a couple of beers beforehand. The landlord is brilliant. Perfect 10/10.

Wendy M K Shaw: A sweet club with lovely staff and great music, what more could you want? Its decor has an excellent balance between clean and traditional, so you both love the ambiance and feel entirely at ease. Loved it, and definitely will go back!

idil öztürk: I have to say that I really love this place, it has a very warm atmosphere, friendly owner & staff and of course great music. It just feels like home with their cozy sofas, I missed their super funky soul Wednesdays especially with the one and only Ingrid Arthur. Will definitely be visiting again this August!

hussam ahmed: The music was great, the place is cozy, and the waiters are friendly. Really enjoyed my time. One thing that may be needed is adding some more cushions on the seats and the back seating area to make it more comfy. Setting upright 90 degrees for two hours is painful

Slavena Ruseva: Really good place - a bit pricey but it was worth it! Cocktails were great and the terrace was super cozy and quiet even though it’s a busy street outside. The deserts were good, too. Definitely recommend.

Tony Brock: The open air entertainment was good, but the upstairs bar prices were high and the personnel were rude and unproffessional. Never again!

Arunima Raigar: Nice atmosphere and really good drinks. They make fantastic cocktails!

Alex: Super relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to relax and enjoy your drink.

Jackie Hibbert: First night in Berlin, booked ahead for this fab jazz club. Seated up front listening to Afro Cuban music. Great cocktails and a smooth vibe. Highlyrecommend🙂

Mircea Sulger: Nice place for a jazz night, good cocktails, value for money and nice staff. Recommend to book in advance if you want a seat in front of the stage.

Yuan Joyce: Wednesday night 9pm entrance fee is 2Euro per person. Usually pack before 830 so do arrive early to get seats. After 10pm have audience usual jam session

Dayner: Had a great time seeing a Latin Jazz band in this small venue. Nice cocktail menu as well. Best to make a reservation. One star removed for not accepting card.

Anne Bosveld: Nice place with very well prepared drinks. Nice live music as well!

Kjetil Nilsen: Awesome bar! Small but vibrant, yet a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Really good drinks, the bartenders are skilled. They have live music sometimes and the band we saw was awesome.

Steve Greenfield: Great small venue, I saw a stand up show here which was in English and pretty funny. Will go back. Also good size to try out material if you are a comic.

Dragos Ardeleanu: Amazing evening, amazing talented young band.

Aurélie Shapiro: Great little place with wonderful cocktails. But it’s narrow and crowded near the bar-watch out for pickpockets!

A.J.C.: Great wine selection, cosy place , recommended for a date

Sam Hughes: Great little bar that has a nice comedy night every Sunday. Would recommend

Badenscher Hof: what do users think?

Luana Ma.Be.: Original German Kneipe, but also Restaurant and special Jazz Cafè. The vintage athmosphere of professional jazz musicians in Berlin. Yesterday was the turn of Lionel Haas Band, Lionel is one of the talented jazz piano in Berlin more than 20 years on the Berlin scene. Look at the program he plays, there is here at B. again and in other jazz cafes.

Rochi Moran: We just stopped by randomly for a beer and were very happily surprised by the nice atmosphere and super friendly service! We’ll definitely be stopping by again, hopefully to listen to some live jazz!

Diederik Hammer: Good (German) food, good beer, nice atmosphere. So if you are the neighborhood and fancy some, go here.

Sylvia Lotz: Great jazz music venue. Staff could be friendlier, but admitably it was really busy.Ok for a quick bite, good beer.

Erik Wilde: Great local music club which has several concerts throughout the week. We were there for “blues wednesday” and it was absolutely wonderful. Not very crowded and I hope that usually, they have better attendance. Drinks and food are ok, but don’t expect anything special or fancy.

Alexander Collo: The only club in Berlin where you can have real jazz and soul. No hipsters, no wannabe-intellectuals, just good jazz. The great music compensates for the small size of the location!

Dwight Jones: The best in the west 😎💯👌🏿Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Xanyar Kamangar: Cool, local jazz cafe/bar. Pleasant staff. Acoustics could be better...

SOULCAT Music Bar: what do users think?

Ignacio Gonzalez: Good. The service is quite nice. They are very busy and it might take you a while to be attended. The mexicanar shots costs 1€. The beer from tap 3.8€ and cocktails around 8€. They have nice music. Sometimes it gets a bit messy and crowded. With the people all around. It might not be the best option for a quiet date.

Sh Shh: Nice soulful place with live music

오유리: Perfect….but it was really dark especially really inside of it

Matthew Conway: The music selection is always flawless! I always seem to leave with a new favourite song. Plus the bar is definitely fair priced - always a winner! 100% would recommend!

JP Borman: Groovy baby! Good tunes. Cool vibe. It is Berlin, not German.

Finn Kanahara: A place with vinyl music and international audience. Dive back in time and enjoy.

Joe Said: Good music and safe I enjoy it

Jazzclub-Kunstfabrik Schlot: what do users think?

Youju (youju_j): * Check the website before you visit.(awesome jazz band list is waiting for you🤩) * Reservation recommended (it’s a quite big place compared to other jazz bars. So you still might find bar seats even though you didn’t book the night, but nice places are usually occupied by customers with reservations. * For most people, such as myself (who have a poor sense of direction), it may be difficult to find the entrance through google maps. If you are somehow entering a road between buildings, and you feel like “Am I going well...? “ . Then that’s right feeling. just walk one minute more ! ) * Bring your student ID card , If you are a student you will receive up to 5 euros discount ! * Nice snacks + reasonable prices for drinks 🍷 * Friendly Staff * Good Location : Under 5 min from U6 Naturkundemuseum *** I would like to recommend this place to anyone who is going to visit a Jazz Bar for the first time. 🐱 : Schlot has a quiet crowd, that likes to listen instead of talking, much like the crowd you would find at a concert.

Charline P (Truck): I really like here. Nice music nice location. Most important, not as crowded as some too famous Jazz Club in Berlin. Good management.

John Abarshi: Cosy underground jazz club with a heart. Low key vibes where the musical artistry really shines through. Additionally super nice staff! The manager gave me a free drink after a misunderstanding. Visitors will need to provide proof of vaccination or negative test <24hrs like many places in Berlin.

Olesya Sachenko: Awesome experience! Good music, good vibe, reasonably priced. The entrance fee was 13€, soft drinks 2-3€, a glass of wine 4€, peanuts 1€, cheese plate 7€. but you’re not obligated to order anything.

Noheir El Adly: I came here with a group of friends and we had a great night. The place has history as it used to be an old lamps factory, the first one was produced here. Check the side decoration windows. The ambient and acoustics are great. Staff is friendly drinks prices are very reasonable. Wine at 3€ and a good Aperol for 5€. There are free entry evenings during the week, we came at a night and paid 13€/ticket. One can make reservations as it could be full. Check their website for programs. Not good for wheelchair users. Toilets are ok.

Johan van Ieperen: Big band. Not expensive at all. Maybe you need to make a reservation and be there at least 30 minutes beforehand.

Donna Lay: We visited on a Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised by a performance going on that night. I liked the vibe of the space, and the music was so very wonderful. Nice to see a diverse age group in the audience as well. I will definitely visit again, the next time we are in Berlin!

Loci Loft: what do users think?

Daniel Loebl: The Loci Loft is not in the usual route for jazz clubs in Berlin. But it is worth the trip. It is very intimate, so you get to see the show up close. The musicians seem to enjoy the short distance to their public. On the night i visited, the band was Monsieur Pompadour (violin, two guitars, and a base). They played songs in English, French, Italian, Finnish, Spanish and German and they made the place into a party. Someone played a saw, a ukelele, an accordion and God knows what else. The Loci Loft has a bar that sees good drinks. I was partial to their Pisco Sour. Highly recommended for a trip out of the usual loop of clubs in Berlin.

Kerry Mueller: 5 stars and very well deserved! I celebrated my 40th birthday at Loci Loft, and can only sing their praises! Excellent organisation, professional and friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, great food and drinks! Highly recommended!! Thank you for a wonderful party.

Melissa: Amazing environment. Friendly staff. Great music. Definitely coming again!

Lydia Neilson: Nice!

Tracey Duncan: Nice food

T C: Simply WOW!

Torsten: A nice location with different programs. In summer even on the terrace. Nice service and the food was delicious too. Everything was fine for a nice evening.

Gabriele Rathenow: Great location in the north of Berlin. We have already spent many wonderful evenings here with excellent live music, delicious food and very good drinks. The entire team ensures that you feel comfortable and can enjoy a relaxing evening. A big thank you to everyone for the warm hospitality.

Donau115: what do users think?

Korhan Erel: I always liked Donau, both as a musician who played there a couple of times and as a listener. Tonight, the two people running the venue turned a wonderful concert by Hilde into a terrible experience. One of them screamed at the audience who were standing outside during the break - including the musicians who were playing. He was definitely the loudest and possibly irritated the neighbors more than us. Then, as soon as the concert ended, before the audience could really enjoy the wonderful feeling after Hilde’s performance, the same screaming person made a very loud announcement that they were short on staff and were closed. We were forced to leave the bar and when we confronted them about their disrespectful attitude, they were extremely rude. Horrible people who certainly should not be allowed to work there. I am deeply disappointed. The musicians who played there were also irritated and had hardly any time to relax after their concert and have a drink with their friends. Terrible experience, really. On my boycott list as venues in Berlin (which is a very short list)

Annette Vogel: Very crowded open mic, great audience! Every body is listening to the artists, all kind of levels, i really enjoyed it

T B: Best place in town: nice drinks, usually good music and great vibe. Just don’t go on Tuesday. Open stage isn’t worth it Unless your kids or friends are on stage.

Norman Wieder: Nice and friendly music bar. Saw Greg Cohen once, will come back over someday soon for sure ^^

laura desirée di paolo: Loved it! The guys behind the counter are super nice, music is fantastic...

brendon neuhaus: One of the best secrets in Berlin. It is all about the music here. Top musicians, great bartenders, intimate atmosphere, fair prices.

Rebecca Laulan: Crowded, good music. The music fees is free but start at 10e

Manuel Ibarra: Musicians are really good, they don’t deserve the rating but the teenagers working there are really rude. They have 0 interest in their work. They simply don’t care. If you don’t mind getting a rude bad service then you’ll be ok.

Ellysol: A friend took me here one Monday evening for a blues jam... Wow! What a great atmosphere and really good musicians. Very nice experience on a Monday evening ☺️ Recommended the local craft beer!

Stericast “Very random name” Essevako: What a lovely local bar! The atmosphere was nice on the terrace, the neighborhood seemed calm and fellow customers were just casually sipping their drinks instead of taking shots to get wasted. The bartender was very friendly, even with a little bit limited English and recommended us a super fresh local beer from just a few blocks away which was really tasty! Oh and price-wise? This seems like a bar with local-level prices instead of tourist-prices, with a pint of good beer costing less than 3-4€! Strong recommendation :)

Janne Timmer: My favorite venue for live blues music! On monday they host a great jamsession. Very nice crowd and always someone nice to talk to. Fun to go with friends but maybe even better on your own!

Justine Auguste: Fair++ Guinness, lovely staff and good crowed

Sevinç Durgut: One of my favourite neukolln bars. Very friendly environment. I love monday jam sessions. Totally recommended!

marius andrijauskas: Nice staff, good live music, cheap drinks.

Tamar Priel: Best homely bar. Great music, great people, simple and cheap drinks, great staff members. Our regular place.

Al Baptist: I mean, that bar that you finally call a bar, good for feierabend and good to smash your blues away next to professionals of all ages, a small place of peace fir everyone, a godless church to feel part it with no ties to stay or leave when u want. They put the H to the D in the HOOD.

Cartney P: Great jazz but unfortunately another smoking bar in Berlin. The dog, Lucy, was cute.

Branka Bačić: Very good bar, sadly too smoky even by my standards.

Sanja Pocrnjić: Came here on the first day in Berlin; a very warm and friendly place, relaxed and very very friendly, accommodating hosts/staff. A couple of other people joined in the evening, and we had a blast! Prices are really fair, and there is a slice pizza place next to it, so perfect combo. A special thank you to the kind sir who was there that day, for the beer recommendations and corn snacks! 10/10 am visiting again 🍻

Ars Punx: Such a lovely bar with a really good selection of beer! It has Kicker and darts. Also jukebox👌 nicely mixed public. Some old Berliners and young people.

Simon Puleo: I went on a Tuesday night to check out the local Gypsy Jazz / Django scene. A group of talented musicians were playing standards at top speed. The almost prolific bass player told me he learned playing "on the streets", almost internal sense of music. Good inexpensive drinks and straight forward bar keep treated all customers to shots that tasted like bloody marys on the house. Look up at the doorway for the Django posters and other Jazz memorabilia. Play a round of foose ball. Friendly place.

Samuel Alem: Best Bar in Kreuzberg with live music Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cool staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Love this place

Milad Miri: Lovely place, every Tuesday Jazz music and every Thursday Blues session

Marck Ernest: One of the oldest Kneipe in Berlin. Urban is an institution! They have cheap drinks, good atmosphere, and great music!
