Le Wagon Berlin Coding Bootcamp: what do users think?

Ana Luiza Curi Christianini: I signed up for a Data Science Bootcamp at Le Wagon for improving my data analytical skills. I had no idea how intense and challenging this experience would be. Response: Thank you Sven, It's been a pleasure having you at the academy. Come back and visit anytime ;)

Nathalia G: I came to Code Academy without any coding knowledge, yet I already had a job offer when I finished the course. During the course, the most important questions regarding language and technology were explained step by step. I received a lot of support from mentors and Ottavia in particular has always pushed me forward. The atmosphere was great, colleagues from the course willingly shared their knowledge. Overall, a wonderful 5 months, full of learning, challenges but also interesting, open-minded people!

Moe Steinmueller: I appreciate Code Academy Berlin for providing me with a great environment to learn how to code, and for helping me gain confidence in my coding skills! Code Academy Berlin; I recommend this school!

Marwan Abou Esmaail: Code Academy Berlin is a high standard training school, Mentors and Career Coaches are knowledgeable, professional, super patient and amazingly friendly. They taught me various programming languages through mastering live projects, and helped me finding a job that started only a week after completing the course. I’ve no doubt that Code Academy Berlin with its team will be one of the most important programming training school. Way to go
Response: Hi Marwan; Thank you so much for the review. It's really nice of you and it has been a pleasure having you as a student. Your work instantly stood out and we are so happy to hear you got a job right away! 😊 come back any time, we would love to hear your updates! - Lucas

De Mecquenem Ninon: This is a great school with an amazing team and a great location. I have met numerous students at this school by working next door. They are coming from a lot of different places and have very different backgrounds. They are all very happy about the courses and projects that were proposed. The ones I have kept contact with quickly found a position after the formation. Their programs for web development and data science, from my professional experience, really correspond to what will be asked from you when you will apply to related positions. If you are looking for learning one of these topics with a skillful and kind team, and a friendly ambience, you should definitely go there.

Débora Lopes: I took their SQL minicourse and I highly recommend it. My instructor was very capable, the classes had great content and were very relevant and she was always very patient. She brought real life examples of cases she has worked with and gave us lots of time and chances to practice and shared amazing tips. Will definitely consider taking other courses from them!

Liedson Carvalho: Code Labs Academy is the best coding school in Berlin. I attended a free cyber security course here, and it was the best learning experience that I had.
Response: Thank you Liedson! We look forward to seeing you at another workshop!

Ami Ait: Code Labs Academy is an international coding school that transcends the barrier for sharing knowledge. It gives its students strong foundations to build on their careers. It also has several departments, including the career department. This crucial division offers career talks, career articles, mock interviews and more, to prepare the scholars for real job interviews and a cemented career. It opens the gates for them and paves their way to a prosperous future. I am one of its students in the data science field. I find that the programme is very enriching. There are quizzes to check the concepts’ understanding. Every unit consists of courses’ videos explained by qualified teachers in the field and a final project at the end. The projects are samples and examples of real-life projects. They provide an idea of future projects. The teachers assist their students in their projects, their understanding and help them solve their countless issues. The platform also provides with online sessions and one to one meetings to give students answers. This international school possesses a YouTube channel where anyone can find their free workshops. In general, I am really thrilled to learn more and more from this school because now I am able to do things that I have never thought I would be able to do.
Response: Dear Ami, thank you so much for your great feedback on our platform, best of luck in your data science & programming career!

alaadania adimi: As a part of the web development bootcamp, I must say my experience went beyond my expectations! thanks Code Labs Academy for everything!

Spiced Academy: what do users think?

Maximiliano Forman: I had a great experience at Spiced Academy. I found the contents and the study methodology very clear and also the great commitment of the trainers. They were always there to answer my questions. I would recommend the academy to anyone who is starting out in the world of programming.

Andres Bürkle: A life-changing experience. From the lessons I learned during the course I started a learning path in this new world of Data Science. A year after finishing the course I still go back to the course material to continue reviewing and understanding more of the information I received, the references and pages recommended by time issues are not able to be seen during the course but it becomes a material that with the passage of time becomes even more valuable. The course was intensive and the teachers were always very well disposed to solve all my doubts, which in my case were not few. They have a very good knowledge of the subjects and above all an excellent relationship with the students. I strongly recommend taking a course like this and I invite you to open your eyes to this new and exciting world of Data Science.

Leandro Ledesma: The worst experience I ever had. The main caoch of our cohort did a disaster role as a teacher. 4 months later nobody still have found a job as Data Scientist.

Miriam Derboven: Spiced disapointed me so much. The quality of the teaching and the lack of empathy from the lead teacher turned my experience during the data science bootcamp into suffering and depression.

lsowein: I took the course in Web Development the beginning of 2021. Due to the pandemic it was fully remote. Nevertheless it was a fantastic experience! The teachers were incredibly friendly, supportive and proficient and the curriculum is excellent. The career training program is also a great addition and really helped me to find a job after finishing the course. Since I had been teaching myself to code for quite some time prior to the bootcamp, I was well prepared and found the pace just right. If you are planning to take the bootcamp, make sure to already have a strong foundation (or be willing to spend the nights to catch up).

WBS CODING SCHOOL Hybrid Coding Bootcamp: what do users think?

Staś Werno: I did a great deal of research before deciding which of the coding schools or bootcamps was right for me. I confidently settled on WBS, based on several factors, including the curriculum, the feeling I got from speaking to the staff, the length of the course and the ability to work from home. It was absolutely the right decision and the school delivered on all fronts. The staff are kind and helpful and adapt to feedback from the students. The curriculum was fast paced and challenging but not unrealistic and certainly fulfilling. The career advice was invaluable. All in all it was an experience that I will not forget, and I ended the course feeling sad that it was over but happy to be a part of a new community.
Response: We're glad to hear you've been satisfied with your bootcamp. Thanks for this review, and all the best for your future!

Srđan Rađenović: Great school and great staff, not to mention my teacher Alkis who was always willing to help and most importantly was very patient and supportive. I finished the Full Stack Web and Development part-time course. And I would recommend it to anyone willing to learn how to code and to become a part of the tech industry. Srđan.A.Rađenović
Response: Thank you so much for sharing your review, Srđan. It was a pleasure having you as one of our students. We wish you all the best for your future career!

Patricia-Andreea Krutoff: Honestly best decision ever! I, now that I freshly graduated, am so happy that I chose WBS to go with and learn full stack web & app development! It’s been 4 intense but great months! Many thanks to the school and the instructors! 🙏💪🏻
Response: Thank you too for choosing WBS CODING SCHOOL to start your developer career!

Janelle Rodrigues: please im a new student and i need help with stage 4 challenge, i was ask to create a variable with calculator screen, been stuck here for about 3weeks now
Response: Step 4 is about how to define variables. Basically, it’s pretty straightforward: the task shows examples and lets you know the variable’s name to define and the value you should assign to this variable. I guess the best hint is: it’s probably easier than you think! For individual help, please join our Discord server: https://discord.gg/vp5HHfz Our team is always happy to help!

Martin Fleskes: I took part in the 15 week bootcamp, it was a great experience and I learned a lot. Great teachers, nice staff - 100% recommended!

Christoph Steiner: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueBest job related experience since 6 years! Thanks for the challenging and wonderful time!Totally can recommend this school!

Karen Dervish (PartisanCrowd): Great concept to run a Python coding course for women with pairs programming. Bastian and Julian were super helpful especially with getting the IDE set up initially. Was great to be coding again after so many years, plan to continue.I can recommend Octomo as a training provider.

Zach Volpo: Talk about next level! Just when I was about to throw in the towel on "standard" education I luckily discovered Octomo. Their courses has impacted my career immensely, and I am confident that their initiatives will change the scope of education as we know it.

Coyotiv UG (haftungsbeschränkt): what do users think?

Paloma Oliveira: This is a very special Software Engineering School that will teach you way more than coding. It is a unique place to really learn how to become a developer with critical thinking and deep understanding about technique, tools, languages and the philosophy surrounding it. It prepares you for any challenges the market can bring supported by an amazing community. What I love more about it is that it builds me as a high confident professional based on collaboration, not competitiveness. That means that the school prepares also with soft skills highly needed for a team work. I cannot recommend more! It changed my career path completely
Response: Thank you Paloma for these kind words! We are happy to be part of your journey and support you as much as we can! <3

Mateus Knelsen: This school changed my wife’s perspectives not only professionally, but also personally. She had for a while tried to learn how to code, with different degrees of success. Coyotiv gave her the opportunity to actually consolidate and improve her knowledge in such a way that, even before the end of the course, she had already got a job as a software engineer. I was so inspired by her that now I am also taking the course :)

42 Berlin: what do users think?

Maria Georgi: unfortunately i was very disappointed in this program. first of all, you definitely need coding experience. there is just no way, someone with 0 experience is able to get through it. there literally is no explanation whatsoever for any of the tasks. i know this is the concept, but it’s not beginner friendly at all. second disappointment: it was repeatedly said we should not eat or drink at the computers. it’s fine if you say it once or twice. but even then 42 people didn’t get tired of repeating it and even saying: if you don’t follow this rule, there is a lot of cleaning and repairing to do in the building and you can easily add up to two hours for those tasks. this was ridiculous. if you don’t put any trust in your newbies, then 42 might not be as open minded as they claim to be. overall a pretty frustrating experience.

Mor Menzely: Just visited as a guest for a party, was surprised that a school that is free to go to, could be that modern and well designed

Karswaran Ganesh: Max makes going to 42 so fun. Great vibes.

DCI Digital Career Institute: what do users think?

Céline Petit: really great school! Cutting age topics and really good teachers who know what they talk about. There are also some super workshops from companies like eBay to tell use about how can look like your new job and some interesting projects to work on for the final evaluation. For the moment I just did the orientation and I learned really a lot in 1 month time! Now that I have succeed in this evaluation, I go for a 1 year Online Marketing and I have no doubt that after the DCI courses I will find a dream job very easily! I am glad to have the chance to join these courses
Response: Dear Céline, we appreciate you taking time to share your experience as a DCI student and wish you all the best with the Online Marketing course! Your DCI-Team

Irena Popova: I graduated the DCI Web Development course. Throughout that time I have developed further my coding skills. The curriculum is structured to give you the required knowledge for entry level in web development. but how further you will go, of course is up to you. If you are not investing enough time in self - learning after the classes difficulties building the required projects will be met. Programming requires a fast learning skill and devotion. The teachers are friendly and experienced, always ready to help and give you hints if you are stuck. There is a vast network of companies & a cool career support team to guide you and help you start a digital industry. I really enjoyed my time there.

shadow: Beware before thinking about enrolling course here. This company only cares about its interests and leaves their students behind. The teachers are very bad. When you want to enrol, at the beginning , you have to attend an orientation course that costs 4000 thousand and has no value. In the end, if they do not like you, they will tell you that we cannot accept you in the course. an You will lose 4000 for nothing
Response: Hello, we are sorry that your experience with us was not the best. The satisfaction of our students has top priority to us, which is why we also regularly collect feedback surveys. All our teachers come from the tech industry and have at least 2 years of experience in their fields. The costs of our courses can be covered by the employment agency or job center with an education voucher for unemployed people. We are sorry that it did not work out for you but wish you all the best for your future. Your DCI-Team

Orshlem Mtl: Teachers are not experts who evaluate according to their mood and what they like from students and do not want to teach students who do not have an educational background in terms of programming because they just want to maintain their reputation or financial support for their school by playing an introductory month about courses in the school
Response: Hello Mohanad, All of our teachers are from the technology industry and have at least 2 years of experience in their field. We are very selective in choosing our teachers and evaluate their teaching methods regularly. Our courses are designed for beginners with no programming knowledge and we ensure that the content of our courses is taught accordingly. We are sorry that your experience was not ideal and we will evaluate it internally. All the best for your future Your DCI Team

Ghassan Aldarwish: Very supportive environment to learn web development.
Response: Thank you for the nice review Ghassan! We are glad that you enjoyed learning web development at DCI. We wish you a great day. Your DCI Team 💙

Stephan Bayer: Amazing teachers. Fantastic talent. Find a course and land your dream job in the digital economy.

Ironhack Berlin: what do users think?

J M: Amazing experience! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in getting into programming and that wants to change their career. After just 3 months of Bootcamp, not just me but many other students from my class have started to work as developers.

Julia Álvarez: Ironhack Berlin was how I started in the tech industry as a software developer. My experience there was amazing. I got to be supported by a nice community, learned a lot and got to do a lot of networking. Life on campus was very fun and I remember my time in Berlin with great joy. Thanks to Ironhack!

K Pop: There are more than one free resources to learn what Ironhack sells, without the need to pay €7k.
Response: Hi K Pop, very sorry to read your review and that things might not have gone the right way for you. We are even more surprised by this feedback because we tried to match it against your survey results. For every bootcamp we are conducting several surveys during the bootcamp in order to make sure to match our high standards and student satisfaction. In your case the results and answers are consistently positive and do not match this statement here. This is only 1 tiny little thing, which is very different from free online courses. Nevertheless, I am inviting you to get in touch with us again to figure out how we can support you after the bootcamp. The Ironhack experience does not stop after graduation, we want to give support as long as support is needed.

Pepe Nuñez: Excellent choice to get introduced into Data Analytics. The learning curve of the 9-week program is exponential. I would recommend the bootcamp not only if you want to change your career path towards Data Analytics but also to acquire some hard skills to use data in other roles / industries. In addition, you can feel the passion of both the students and the people behind the program. Overall, great experience.

Zoriana Atamanchuk: Guys, is there anyone who did the UX-UI design bootcamp at the Ironhack or plan to do it? Would be very grateful for getting your feedbacks, as I plan to attend the bootcamp here

It has been disappointing to find out that all classes will be conducted 100% remotely, due to COVID-19 restrictions as they say. On the other hand, all non-academic events (Beer-ball, etc.) are offered on campus. Apparently non-academic gatherings do not posses any COVID danger, while on-campus classes do, even if not restricted on governmental level at the moment. Or maybe remote classes allow university to cut operational cost, while letting students pay same tuition fees? All in all, not being able to meet your lecturers and classmates since day 1, while paying high tuition fees - is somewhat below average experience.

Paula Neuber: Most innovative university in Germany, revolutionizing the higher education system, educating the digital pioneers of tomorrow.

Maks P: Really cool place

Kunal Kirpalani: Fantastic university!

Stephan Hoschek: Super friendly people

Philipp Maximilian “LifeToTheMax” Scharpenack: 🔝Uni
