Belmondo: what do users think?

Irem Demir: An amazing French restaurant! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is fast and the dishes are exceptionally delicious! The quality of the food is really good. We got 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes and 1 desert, all of them were extremely tasty. Highly recommend!!

Karim Dernaika: Another excellent French restaurant in the heart of Berlin, the atmosphere is very cozy and extremely friendly staff. Both the fish and fillet were exquisite. Their desserts are also exceptional. Highly recommended.

Jorge Grunho: Very friendly, professional and attentive staff. Food was great. Service was fast. Will definitively go back.

Julien B: Very good restaurant, for single, couple, or groups. The carte is detailed and give large choices, the owners know what they sell and give good advices. Personally I had a steak tartare followed by Creme brûlée and a glass of wine, this was perfect! Highly recommended!

Veronika Mačáková: Delicious food, great wine, nice and helpful service, absolutelly satisfied

Ajith Vasudevan: Traditional French dishes done in a quaint small joint with some very attentive service. Food quality is great and the prices are very high - but hey - you signed up for it if you came to dine here. While we did not have any drinks, the wine list appeared to have some interesting stuff in there. Meat was very good, sauces done just right and desserts were also good. Overall, pricey place for a traditional French meal when that urge cannot be resisted any more!!

Peter Gan: The food was good, and so was the ambience of the place. Both my entree and main were pretty amazing. However, the mediocre rating was mainly due to the service that was below par. My date and I were somewhat disappointed with the service offered to us, maybe because we are unassumingly younger than the other patrons. We had to wait a while before our orders were taken, and we had to help ourselves to our coats after dinner without any offer of assistance from the service staff. More emphasis should be on service. It was ironic when we got our bill that it mentioned gratuity was not included. I would not tip for the service when it was very inadequate compared to the other patrons seated near us.

walid Alayoubi: Thank you so much. Staff made our celebration dinner so special with their thoughtfulness and amazing service. Great experience, presentations and food. Love it, will be back!

Robert Lomison: A wonderful evening sitting outside at this French restaurant. The food was above average and plentiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Worthy of its rating.

Kexin Liu: We've only tried the beef filet and beef tartare. The filet is very juicy and fresh but the patato puré is a bit too salty. The tartare is freshly made as well with onions, pickles and some kind of veggies.

Restaurant Tim Raue: what do users think?

jencinar: Great place. I've been to several of the top50 restaurants list and I normally do not find them that interesting... more fireworks than delicious food. But Tim Raue is different. Truly excellent food, a pleasure to look and eat. Friendly accessible service. A memorable visit.

Matthieu Stepec: Amazing food. They have the best Wagyu dish I have ever tried, and that's really saying something. Great choice of wines as well, particularly impressive pairing with their Peking duck (optional) dish. Only downside for me was the service which was too quick - albeit very pleasant and professional. I'll simply take as much time as possible to finish each course next time :)

Jasmine: Was really looking forward to this dinner reservation we made months in advance. Mr went with menu ‘Kolibri’ while I had a specially designed gluten free menu. It was a little surprising none of the 2 signature dishes were in the regular menus but diners had to instead “top up” their menu to try these dishes. Cooking was faultless but we both felt most of the dishes were too salty. There wasn’t much theatrics during the meal which was fine by us. Sometimes it’s good to focus on the cooking and ingredients themselves. I enjoyed the pace of the meal until the second half where there were long pauses in between courses. We actually asked if they had forgotten our table as the restaurant got busier as the night went along. Dessert didn’t impress either of us and that was disappointing. Overall, if I were to be totally honest, we expected more from Restaurant Tim Raue. We both had good food but it wasn’t outstanding. Oh, the glass of wine we ordered was AMAZING!

Malte Isberner: What an experience! Every single course was an explosion of flavors. Even seemingly mundane things like a carrot were prepared in a way that made them taste completely different from any other carrot I've ever eaten. The service was top-notch, super attentive and knowledgeable, and the wine pairing went incredibly well with all the food. The absolute highlight of the entire meal though was the pork knuckle: melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside while super crispy on the outside. Probably the best piece of pork I've ever eaten.

Felix Winandy: It was a really great experience! we were so happy to see such a great restaurant and chef doing an all vegan menu!It was a lot of fun to try all these new combinations of taste. The staff was perfect, friendly, attentive!

Sam Pritchard: This experience was exceptional. Service was prompt, detailed and exhaustive. As a table of two we chose the Koi menu with the added peking duck and the vegan menu for my pescatarian friend with a nut allergy with a substitution to a fish dish to avoid a nut containing dish. This was very well accommodated and the waitress took time to make sure the menu would be as perfect as possible. We both also chose the accompanying wine paring. The restaurant had an elegant natural oceanic Asian inspired theme with intriguing artwork and pottery. The food was a complex variety of Asian cuisine which felt almost kissed by European influence. Impossible to critique, with every dish feeling more perfect than the last. The accompanying wine was explained in depth and matched flawlessly.

Rob Iracane: The food here is revelatory and creative. The delicate flavors shone through in every course and the entire menu felt well designed and cohesive. We ordered the "Koi" tasting menu which highlighted new creations with seasonal foods from the kitchen. If I was reviewing Restaurant Tim Raue on the food alone I would give it five stars. The chefs here have absolute mastery with all categories: meat, fish, vegetables, and desserts. However, the service was disjointed and awkward. Our server seemed to be impatient with us and would walk away before he was even finished describing our courses. I ordered an apertif and was told that they didn't carry that drink so I had to point it out to our server on the beverage menu, and that they do indeed carry that drink. We also asked about wine pairings but we were told it was too much work and that we should just order a bottle. My napkin was not folded when I went to the bathroom. This may seem to be nitpicking but when I'm spending 400€ per person, I want the experience to be flawless, not an awkward mess. Also a note about the seating: we were stuck by the kitchen door with another table and completely separated from the front of the restaurant by a large console that the waitstaff would use for drinks and silverware. For the entirety of the meal we were treated to the sight of disinterested servers coming and going from the kitchen. Maybe this table would be preferred for those seeking privacy but we felt like we were seated in Siberia.

Arno Stenzel: The food was outstanding and we really liked the well spiced dishes. The whole evening is perfectly orchestrated and the restaurant elegantly decorated. Hygiene measures were perfectly realized. However, we somehow missed the personal note… you’re just another customer getting (gently)pushed through the (perfectly oiled) machinery.

Christopher Muschal: This was a blast. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent experience. Berlin kicking you in the nuts to remind you that living well is an obligation to anybody who can. You indeed only live once.

모이션 Berlin berlin: This restaurant has 2 problems . 1. Some service staffs looks like students and working like nomal restaurant service . Even some staffs thay are just shooting the breeze every time which naver see 2 star restaurant .however I did not feeling any professional service or feeling of being treated ! 2. the course menu dash’s . I had a order 8 + extra I meal course menu . Frist dish was strong taste like Sweet. Sour . salty . Was really good but after Frist dish start all dishes really taste like salted . All sauce . Side vegetables and soups is really salty ! naver end stong salty taste dish’s . The curse menu has no balance ! Even the dessert chocolate has full of salted ! I have a Question for head chef . Have you ever eat all full curse this 9 menu in one time taste ? I finished all menu after my mouth only feel that salty and I drink half liter water because of salty . I just wondering how could this restaurant got a 2 stars Michelin ! Mr Tim Raue is famous but the food is not so fantastic ! PS .I been many country with Michelin restaurants !

Nobelhart & Schmutzig: what do users think?

Solomon Wilkinson: What happens in N&S stays in N&S, but I can tell you it’s really good and I was blown away. Come as you are and you can have a relaxed evening of incredible food and drink, with great company. And if you have been waiting for a reason to go, if you pay through Luca app they’ll cover 20% of your total which—unusually—was a nice surprise when the bill came. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Alma Kafaie: I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars. It was a great experience and when I go to a Michelin star tasting menu, I know there will be things I don't like. In all honesty, this place had quite a few things I didn't like and also a few things that were quite extraordinary. the Jerusalem Artichoke blew my mind. I genuinely think they do the best possible job for the concept they chose. And the atmosphere is cool, VERY Berlin (so you'll love it or hate it). The head chef took care of us all night, a very cool man. I don't think you can make more out of local ingredients here, hence 5 stars. Would recommend!

Eric Willinghan: We have visited other Michelin star restaurants with prefix menu. People often comment about value related to the prices of all these style restaurants. For me they are all serving unique special small plates and an experience as much as a meal at an inordinate price. However the staff at this restaurant was by far and away the best staff I have ever encountered at any of these types of restaurants. All the various people that served and cared for the table of 10 people... each was purposeful in their efforts. I never felt like someone was just ticking a box or preoccupied.. they were always attentive to the guest. Always interested, explaining, and sincere. From the moment we entered to restaurant... 4 hours later when we left and still standing outside, anyone associated with this large and extensive restaurant was perfectly trained. Our meal was alcohol free so it was not the wine that impacted my opinion. Truly was the best experience I have ever had at this style of restaurant. Perfection. For them I think they earned the Michelin star for as much the professional staff as well as the amazing and unique flavors of the many local and seasonal treats served.

Laurens Laudowicz: We knew this was a great place, but didn’t look up too much about it. Had a gift certificate we got from a friend. Meant to use it for many months, and when we finally did the night was blast. It was three of us. The seating is either at the bar, or better yet the fully surrounding table with the kitchen in the middle, OR it is on one of the extra large community tables. And it also got me thinking that it is rather good for couples or larger groups. Less so for smaller groups. Then again it worked out fine for the three of us. The food was amazing. All locally sourced, meaning Germany, Brandenburg and Berlin. Even the Saffron that was used in one of the dishes. I thought this was a joke and looked it up after, turns out there is a tiny place that grows it in Germany. Wild. The wine was also very balanced with the food. For sure. 10/10 experience when it comes to food and the all around helpfulness of the staff. They explained it all rather well. My favorite part of the whole night was the home made butter. Wow. So much flavor. It was amazing. ✨ ✨ They don’t want people to take photos in the restaurant. I highly respect this, I like keeping the vibe in the place #phoneless. Which makes for a much nicer evening. Hence I took some picts at the door and in bathroom. Enjoy! 🤡

Ofer Halevi: Difficult to consider anything less than a 5 stars rating for this place. Food and service were impeccable. Wine pairing is a must, truly elevating the experience. We absolutely loved every bit of it. Can’t wait to go back and taste a different seasonal menu. Well done to an amazing crew.

Paige Biggs: Nobelhart & Schmutzig is a lovely experience. My husband and I loved the food. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. I also would like to commend Nobelhart & Schmutzig on making filtered water sexy. Drinking tap water has always been more sustainable than bottled water. In this season of trying to reduce our gas consumption, I appreciate that Nobelhart & Schmutzig takes the lead on serving water that required no Russian gas for transport. I would love to see other restaurants follow suit. Thank you!

Kati Babinec: Excellent food and atmosphere - only issue was with a female server who talked down to "the Americans" about the food - like we couldn't understand the difference btw chicken and guinea fowl and that the texture isn't like "chicken nuggets"! - very rude! Otherwise - excellent experience.

Ilenia Papastergiou: Absolutely amazing experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful all the way and the food was an incredible experience with an actual point of view and purpose behind it! The sommelier is extremely knowledgeable with great suggestions, we had great conversations over each wine choice. Overall, we would actually plan a trip back to Berlin for this restaurant. Thank you to the entire team!

Graham Klym: Excellent dinner. Wonderful staff. Stuffed. A ten course meal takes a long time, come hungry and relax. I love the record player and curated collection.

Wendy Chio: Ate at this place with some friends. Food is interesting but not exciting, and one wonders how the Michelin star was acquired. Quite pricey for the 90% vegetarian meal. Service was good at the start, but not consistent throughout and was abrupt. The policy of no photos could have been reinforced nicely. Instead, the manager was very rude about it and the pompous and racially-biased sommelier-owner talked down to us, citing our lack of understanding of German culture as the reason for our displeasure. Had dined in other Michelin-star restaurants which prioritise the diner experience genuinely. This place lacks the finesse for this, and instead comes across as a pretentious set-up. This was not only our worst Michelin meal, it was also our worst experience in Germany. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

A Mano: what do users think?

Keilley Meng: Delicious vegetarian Italian food, amazing service, and great decorations! Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the gnocchi being very salty. We needed to eat it with the other dishes and bread to lower the saltiness. Besides from that, everything were great. The texture of the pasta is phenomenal. Highly recommend!

Bogdan Spiridonică: One of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin. The service was great, with staff speaking multiple languages and recommending different dishes if you're undecided. The overall experience made me feel like I am visiting Italy. I don't have to go into details about really good Italian wines available. :)

aa avi: Amazing Italian restaurant The service was excellent For each table there were few waiters, kind and welcoming. Speaking Italian . Romantic place All dishes were excellent. Not cheap but worth the money. Definitely recommend 🥂🔥

Esti Shekhtman: The best restaurant I have been to! The portions are large and the food is simply delicious! It's not cheap but definitely worth the price! The service is simply out of this world, all the waiters are genuinely smiling and happy to assist. I think it's a must when in Berlin. I will definitely be coming back for more

Diana Navarro: a dinner for one, €70 and a little more. the presentation of the dishes is quite elegant and the flavors well achieved. the staff is Italian and it was very comfortable for me to communicate. fast and the cocktails were also delicious. everything was clean on the table and I would love to go again.

Kate Kusnesova: Delicious, atmospheric and fast! Better to book a table, since the restaurant is very popular for family events)) but for lunch a place can be found easier. Excellent desserts, perfect pasta and a great selection of dishes.

Shirley Lim: Food was excellent. Service is great. We had the tomato cream soup and baby calamari and both were delicious. For the mains, the scampi agio olio could use a little more salt but still great.

Alexandru Istrate: Good restaurant with sophisticated Italian dishes but still traditional in some ways. Service was great with friendly staff. Parking available nearby and might be one of the few nice place to eat on a late Monday evening. Most others close at 10pm.

Shaham Shabani: Amazing restaurant, top quality food, very nice staffs and great atmosphere.Highly recommended!

Gabriel Curini: The place is really beautiful and cozy. The food was very tasty, all very well cooked and on time. the wine 100 points, Montepulciano, remembering the summer in italy. In addition, the waiters were attentive, speaking in German, English, Spanish and Italian. better impossible.

Eypee Kaamiño: This place has really good traditional German food. The establishment is a down-to-earth family business that has been around for several years now. So for everyone who is new to Berlin and wants to try something local, you can come here and try. It is a little bit more fine dining than you might be used to in Berlin though. The staff are a mix of young and experienced people who focus on the well being of their customers. And to top it all off, at the end of the 3 course meal for 2 people, we only paid around 70€, which is imo quite decent for a fine dining experience.

Zane Pointon: The best restaurant I’ve been to in Berlin. Their white asparagus was excellent, as well as their home made sour cream.

Axel Herr: Went there with 9 friends for our annual pre-Xmas Goose Feast. The ambience and Xmas decoration was magnificent and the goose was spectacular, great crust, tender meat - just great!!! Like every year they had a challenge to guess the number of Xmas baubles hanging from the ceiling for a 4-course menue for two - quite a challenge...Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

joseph saadeh: I will give it a five stars but: The food is not the best in the world but this is the german food and they are do it well. The old woman (waitress) was not that friendly atthe begining but after a while she became really good. The place is really good and the beer is really good. The service is fast

Michel Van Raemdonck: I took the specialty from the house. It was delicious The service was good and the people very friendly. We came here to taste the typical Berlin dishes as they say on different reviews, unfortunately they were not on the menu.

David Acheson: Best steak I've had in Germany. Beautiful potato gratin, amazing pepper jus. The ambiance is very intimate and romantic with tables being candlelit. Would highly recommend for a couple seeking a quiet meal and time together. Reservations recommended.

Kirstie: Really delicious food. The meal included complimentary tasters from the kitchen and bread with their homemade butter/lard. Lots to choose from and really good sized portions. I had the schnitzel for main (two of them) with amazing potatoes! Really impressed. Nice atmosphere and easy to find

Kyra Alas: Great food and awesome service!

Han nes: Free desert ice cream for kids when colouring kids menu. Delicious food (ate beef & schnitzel), best in class service.

Christian Sieg: This family run place has been here for over 40 years and several ( at least 3) generations work here. It is ranked 21 out of 7000+ restaurant s in Berlin for a good reason... Amazing good food. When here have the local Berlin dishes.. the Berlin potatoe soup and try the Berlin liver. Both are amazing.

Restaurant Facil: what do users think?

Wooyong: - Too many staffs walk in the restaurant at the same time and it looks a bit messy. -Staffs (except restaurant manager) serve without enthusiasm and sincere. These two points make me a little disappointed, but I really want to appreciate the restaurant manager. He helped me communicate with the kitchen, reducing salt of my courses. He is very patient. Thanks 🙏 . About five courses -Scallops good appetizer - Caviar with green pepper [disappointing] Before I came here, I really expected a lot from this course. The caviar was naturally salty and normal but after the addtion of the green pepper jelly, this course become doubled salty. - Black root with truffle, hazelnut [favorite] The aroma of truffles is very strong. Radicchio mixed with hazelnuts tastes great. - Fried sweetbread with kale and quince The sweetbread with thin crispy skin is tender and delicate. At the same time the kale and quince bring some fresh aroma. - Deer back with cabbage and pineapple [also favorite] The deer back is absolutely great and beyond what I ever ate. It’s extremely tender and juicy.

Haim Shimony: A fantastic experience, with a minor fault. The food was absolutely amazing. Moreover, the wine pairing was the best I've ever experienced. Perfect, really. The only reason this restaurant doesn't get 5 stars is one fault in which one dish came out with live little bugs inside it. They replaced it of course, and it's rather understandable when the ingredients are so fresh - but it's not something you'd expect from a restaurant like this, with this kind of price tag. All in all, I'll definitely come back!

Alex Joseph: 5/5 experience. The food was great, although the "bonus" course from the waiter's mistake, the tomato made from gazpacho was average (not being gazpacho loves is why we didn't order it). All of the other courses were fantastic and we must pass our compliments to the chef.

Micaella Gonzales: Few months later I decided to write a review. FACIL is my favorite restaurant in the world right now. All the dishes were phenomenal and full of flavors. I can’t even pick which was the best dish but their wagyu and guinea fowl was definitely the best I ever had. Very speechless with all the food and not to mention the good service and ambiance. Can’t wait to come back!!

EL Broverlander: Dinner at Facil was a magnificent experience. Each course was delicious and described well. I would love to return if I’m ever in Berlin again. Their Michelin rating is well earned.

Julie Jeon: We had 3 courses lunch and it was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was very calm and peaceful, also all the staffs were professional and gave us excellent services. I would like to recommend this restaurant to everyone and I can guarantee you will experience more than 2 star michelin! 🥂

Remco Hoppezak: What a most splendid entry into Berlin. Excellent reception. Thank you😍. Great location. Magnificent team. Superb sommelier thank you Maximilian 👍🎉👍. Superb cooking. Leek redefined. Friesian Wagyu. Magic caberini shrimp 🦐. Exceptional trout. Mahi mahi to die for. Love this eloquent fun love for food. Excellent super friendly staff. Top location in Berlin. Just bar staff on the first floor for an after dinner are not the friendliest. Skip the bar and stay in Facil. Amazing and wonderful. A true star 🌟🌟 and look forward to return. Thank-you 😊❤️

L. Huang: General impression is disappointment. As a Michelin 2 stars restaurant, I am underwhelmed by its menu’s creativity and taste complexity. The taste is relatively flat note across all courses and most of them are too salty, which may have covered other tastes the dish intended to bring. Also the truffle oil taste was also dominate in all sauces so the dishes taste very similar throughout. I voiced my concern on the saltiness to the waiter but there was no change at all made to the remaining courses. I guess because the “taste menu” was all pre-fixed so customization or changes were impossible. The waiter also made excuses that it’s because the menu is designed for European taste palete so as an Asian I might not be accustomed to it. I expected more customer sensitivity for a 2 star designation.

Sharon Ler: This is a very belated review from my trip almost 3 months ago - but it is so memorable that not writing a good review and sharing this great restaurant would be an injustice. We went for lunch. The pricing was very reasonable for a 2 star Michelin restaurant - 1 course for Eur 28, 2 course for Eur 48, 3 course for Eur 68. Service was excellent and made our entire experience in the restaurant very memorable. Herr Winkler took great care of us and brought humour and laughter. He introduced us to Kirschwasser, a strong cherry liquor, which I think is the way Germans finished off a meal. The experience here was simply delightful and I would make sure to go back to it every time I am in Berlin in the future!

Predrag P: Sophisticated experience! Elegant restaurant with great small details, exquisite service, sublime meals! Scallops and lamb to die for!

MontRaw Restaurant: what do users think?

Benjaluck Fai Yuttisee: Cozy little gem. Good amount of food and drinks options. I would describe the food as unusual, high quality Mediterranean. The portion for me is perfect, not too small, not too big. Each component of a dish is well-prepared. The taste is very well-balanced. The service is very nice.

Anna-Lena: 10/10 would recommend! The service was good, the food excellent. My mom had the Butcher’s Choice, this evening a 250g steak, perfectly cooked as my mom wished. The octopus was the best I had so far. The staff were so nice and such gentleman. Both portions were good size. Not overpriced. Adam, the manager I think, checked on us regularly and made sure everything is good. The restaurant is small, but has good atmosphere. The decor is simple, but fits the vibe. They staff mainly speaks English, but the German of Adam (our waiter of the evening) was really good and my mom could order on her own without my help. Overall a pleasant dinner. Would eat there again, when I‘m in town again.

Sushiliah Devi: This is one of the best Mediterranean restaurant in Berlin. We ordered a range of raw food and they were all sumptuous. Celebrated my husband’s birthday there. The staff is so friendly and they serve with a smile. His made do birthday cake and Limoncello was on the house. I loved the ambiance of the place.

alexander laskin: Absolutely amazing dining place! The food is exceptional! Every dish on the menu is an interesting and well-balanced combination of flavors, all is very tasty and artistically presented. Professional and very friendly staff, insightful with offering the food and the wine pairing suggestions. Adler Fish and Octopus Alla Maghreb were the highlights of our table. We have been traveling through major cities in Germany for almost two weeks, dined in more than a dozen places. The MontRaw restaurant is absolutely above everything we visited so far!

Elizabeth Kwan: Love the appetizers, top notch! Lamb as the main dish was delicious, super juicy and tender, very soft that the meat falls off the bone easily. My friend ordered the seafood plate, also delicious! Would give a 5 star rating if the dessert was as good as their appetizers and main courses!

louise chan: Delicious Mediterranean cuisine and great service. The food was delicious especially the octopus. The dessert we got also tasted amazing. Only thing is the price is slightly on the steeper side. We managed to call and get a reservation last minute on a weekday but when we arrived the restaurant was quite busy so i would recommend booking in advance. The Australian waiter gave us good recommendations and was really helpful throughout our meal.

Oscar Kwok: Loved their Octopus and Lamb Chops! The atmosphere was great and our server Xander was very friendly and introduced each dish to us in detail which we appreciated. It was quite busy here for a Tuesday night but I guess I am not surprised since the food is good.

Alya: Amazing food. Every bite is full of different flavors and the taste will make you travel in time. My favorite was the starter salad and the main course fav was fish and the chocolate mousse as a dessert. Hughly recommended. The octopus however can be crispier. The squid and beef tartar was lovely. We celebrated our friend’s birthday and they were kind enough yo add candles to the cake. The space inside is narrow and can be quite noisy but it was fine with us. We had dinner inside and went outside for the dessert. Thank you very much for this lovely experience. I hope you open other branches internationally including Dubai where its blooming with new experiences.

Hias Amazing: I went there alone on a Sunday night without a reservation shortly before their closing time. Despite the time, the service was very welcoming and attentive all the time. I had a very tasty CHARRED EGGPLANT as a starter and then the OCTOPUS ALLA MAGHREB as a main. Both dishes were served quite quickly and tasted delicious with nice oriental flavors.

Eve Schu: Very tasty food, but way too little. I left hungry even though I had a full starter for myself and a main, which is usually more than enough for me.Favourite is the eggplant starter!Food: 3/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Hans Schepers: I came back to this restaurant after 6 years because it was so good the first time. Guess what, it got even better. Menu choices and the interior are traditional, the food is fantastic and the service is really nice. Have their special shot before dinner.

Eduard Ferreres: Very good food and generous portions. The waitress was very nice and we had a fantastic experience. Will come back.

Ibrahim El Moufti: One of the best schnitzel spots in Berlin ⭐️ Food quality 5/5 Amazing schnitzel with authentic potatoes on the side. Portion sizes are good. Value for money 5/5 Expect to pay around 25 to 30 Euros per person. Staff: 5/5 English speaking staff and super friendly and helpful.

Wendy Earwood: Delicious food. The perch was amazing and flavorful. It needed nothing to enhance the flavor. Simply devine and our waiter was great. Offered suggestions on food choices as well as drinks. Highly recommend.

Sophie chantry: The food was so delicious , the meat was tender , it was cooked to perfection and had us drooling at the mouth as we ate ‘ the staff was lovely and spoke amazing english so we were made to feel so comfortable’ would totally recommend if you want original German cuisine ‘ the atmosphere was a bonus ‘ it had an old fashioned atmosphere and music playing’ 10/10 would recommend ‘ they had veggie options so made it easy for my sister to find something aswell

Gae Saturno: A unique experience! Absolutely recommend to everybody. The management changed this year but they kept the traditional dishes and good quality. They also renovated the interior and it looks very well done in all small details. Can’t wait to come back!

Alberto Rizzi: Maybe the best pork knuckle I've ever had, cooked to perfection: crispy skin on the outside, and juicy meat on the inside, all kept together by a tasty sauce. It comes with bacon roasted potatoes and sauerkraut salad. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and prices fully in line with Berlin centre, but portions here are definitely on the larger side. Would have liked a wider selection of beers, even though this is a restaurant and not brasserie.

Harry Springer: Welcoming restaurant with real German food and good service. Reservation recommended. We were there on a Monday and were lucky that a place could still be created for us.

Chris E.: This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. As such we had high expectations. They were all met. The food was great. The server friendly. We really liked that we were not rushed between starter and main course. Next time we are in Berlin we definitely come back.

Laura Payling: Absolutely incredible restaurant. Such an amazing chilled vibe, so relaxing. Beautiful music. Attentive waiters who make you feel relaxed and really care about your experience and love their restaurant. I would come back to Berlin just to go to this place. Of course, food was also incredible. Highly recommend!!!

Rutz: what do users think?

Anuk Bambook: Expectations were met. Dishes are prepared with great respect of the local seasonal products and beautiful, mindful way of working with them. Wine pairing also was beautifully composed.

Linh Nguyen: We had excellent service when we were there. The waiter was very caring and wanted to make sure everything was okay. He didn't give us that uptight feeling that you sometimes get when you go out for fine dining. It was a classy but relaxed atmosphere. The food was just delicious - I really liked everything, even the pigeon :)

Yves Creutz: No one cooks like Marco Müller! This creative cuisine is made with the highest quality products and unexpected pairings, providing a unique dining experience. You'll receive superb service, as you would in a three-star restaurant.

Dave Zhang: An intimate and didactic experience albeit a bit long (4.5hr). Be prepared to give your attention to not only the food but the ingredients, preparation and meaning behind each course. Truly deserving of 3 Michelin stars and the green star!

Stefan Haupthoff: So many ingriedients combined to such tasteful & flavoured recipes but still main ingriedent with intense taste. Was also suprised by a mix of younger and older guests. Service was great w/o any akward attitude. Highly recommanded.

Robert Peveling-Oberhag: I took my head chef and Sous chef to this restaurant as a Christmas gift and boi: we were happy. Such a relaxed atmosphere paired with mind blowing food. Everyone working in this place seems to enjoy themselves which makes for such a happy environment. Thanks a lot

Shuhei M: Unfortunately a very disappointing experience; ingredients are nothing special, way too many ingredients that I don’t know what I’m tasting, service mediocre, not worth the price. Don’t want to be judgmental but clientele was also very homogeneous: older affluent looking German people, which I believe says something as well 😬 I will not come back!

Ondrej: We came without any prior knowledge of the restaurant apart from the fact that they have recently been promoted to three Michelin stars. So we chose the six course inspiration menu and just leaned back curious to see what the evening will bring. We were blown away! The dishes served are complex, almost intellectual but at the same time very approachable and mighty delicious. No dogma is being followed either, it's hard to pin the cuisine down. It's in a sense regional as it fits Berlin quite well, but also doesn't shun away from incorporating luxury ingredients like Kaluga caviar, truffle or langoustines. The service team is amazing and guides through the evening with great enthusiasm. Big shout out to the sommeliere and the wonderfully curated wine list. Long story short, if you are looking for a cosmopolitan culinary experience, go here. Maybe one last information: They focus on the main restaurant, so the Rutz wine bar is currently out of operation.

Alon Shnayderman: Perfect perfect perfect ! So many flavors! Best restaurant I've been in.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Sanne Hanegraaf: The best food experience i’ve ever had, no doubt. The service staff were able to make an outstanding balance of personal and formal approach. And if you don’t drink alcohol, like me, the team have found the most delicious alternative.Different preparations, structures and tastes. Just like the food. Absolutely phenomenal.

Restaurant Bieberbau: what do users think?

Constantin Melniciuc: This is worth every single penny. It is an unique and fantastic experience! Everything is just on another level. The service, attitude, presentation, storyline, taste and experience as a whole is just genius! It was a fantastic dinner!Recommended dishes Pumpkin Soup, Sorbet, Strawberries and Mascarpone, Goat Cheese Desert, Cheese Selection …More

Joyce Z: This experience was overall a little disappointing. The food/dishes ranged from mediocre to good but the service was especially slow. It took over 2.5hours to get three dishes from the set menu. The dessert was the best part, the steak was plain and hard to chew through sometimes. The steam egg dish is good but definitely just normal. People in my group call this the zero Michelin place as it does not deserve it.

Florina Nadaban: Food is nice overall, but the restaurant has some serious problems with how they treat their guests. 1. I got a main dish with fish. The fish was almost raw. We mentioned it to the waiter and she literally just took the plate and … no reaction. Zero. 2. And the most surprizing - they charge more than 5 euros for card payment for a dinner of more than 200 euros. Taking all that into account, thank you but not coming back.

eyal margulies: The food is very unique and creative. The ingredients combinations are surprising but works well together. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, in English as well as in German. In addition, the chefs are so young, I'm anxious to see what they'll think about next.

Steven O'Banion: The plaster work is delightful and every course was seasonally delicious. I just wish they offered wine pairings with the menu.

Joohee Kim: Delicious and hospitable meal in a stunning stucco environment. Just the way a good dinner should be. Beautiful ingredients (loved the monkfish) with excellent combinations! 2 minor details that could’ve been tweaked: the blutwurst amuse bouche would’ve been better if freshly deep fried. The canele was a bit over baked.

Very Ugly Plates: Amazing, surprising food in really good price! a bit shame that they don't have non alcoholic pairing but still great place!

Morten Jeppesen: We had a lovely evening. The server was knowledgeable and guided us a great wine menu to accompany the food. Food was great and the bread with curry butter (!) was surprisingly good! Recommended. Also quite reasonable prices for a Michelin starred restaurant.

Daren Rahal: nice room and services meant well but we had to leave mid way thru meal. two tables that had sat down after us completed their meals and had left and we still hadn't had our main course. over 2 hours and had one appetizer. shocking given its a starred restaurant.

Anastasia Lavoshnikova: Great ingredients and cooking, loved the Asian twists in dishes, good service.

ZENKICHI: what do users think?

Jeroen Inc.: There are moments in time, that everything comes together. Our ZENKICHI experience brought everything together. Their private and secluded 'pop-up' restaurant is serene, the service is something you don't see in Western-Europe and the food, the food is phenomenal, you can taste the love and care that has been put in creating these one of a kind flavors. Accompanied by a Sake tasting - who knows Sake could be more promising than wine - you are in for a dining experience you'll only experience a few times in your life. Just wait till you taste that cable cod. Besides that our evening had a spectacular finale - which could only be this great because of the lovely people of ZENKICHI. A very special memory, thank you again.

Søren Nielsen: A very authentic and tasteful experience. All around exactly how I would imagine fine dining in Japan would feel and taste like, from the extremely polite and helpful service to the fresh and silky tastes of sashimi and wagyu.

Lavashnee Schäfer: We had the Vegan 4 course menu with Sake pairing, the food was delicious, the flavours complimented each other so well, definitely one of my favourite experiences in Berlin with outstanding service👌 Dietary restrictions: Vegan

Gaman Liang: Amazing composition of the courses. The sake pairing complemented the dishes perfectly. Superb service.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Sofia Bini: Me and my boyfriend went there yesterday to celebrate our anniversary and we had our best time. Everything was simply perfect. The food, the place, the people. We choose the early autumn menu with four dishes and we were full after the meal. We recommend also to try the different sakes. It's a fantastic experience.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Devesh Singh: Best sushi I've had in Berlin. Warm vibes, intimate atmosphere, elite service. I will say that the food deserves four stars, it could be because it was a Wednesday night. The fish was prepared nicely. However I did not like the wetness of the rice. I'm not sure if they didn't allow the rice to steam dry and then fan dry while turning to ensure a nice even dry texture, or if they added the rice seasoning mixture too late which wouldn't allow it to dry in time without adequate heat. The only reason that this is a five-star is because of the service. This is probably the best service I've ever had. Being from the US, I'm used to kind service, but this was another level of service. Quite amazing indeed. If I had a restuarant, I would hire all the people who work here, pay them more!

Julian: hands down the best Japanese dining experience we've ever had. And i've stayed a couple years in Asia. Very authentic place and the food makes you think you are dining in one of the best places in Tokyo or elsewhere in Japan. Definitely go for the sake pairing if you are having the 5 or 7 set meal, truly an experience.

Felix Baran: The 7-course menu with sake pairing was absolutely amazing. In combination with extremely friendly and attentive servers this made for a great birthday evening. Quality of the food (but also prices) are definitely on par with Michelin star restaurants.

Lu Shawna: I went to the store and wait for the order. During the time for waiting, the clerk served me a cup of ice water and said it is too hot outside, which is really friendly. The sushi are the best I have tried in Berlin, not only it’s high class type of fish but excellently freshness. She also gave me a little bottle of Sake with a wam card. This restaurant is fantastic!!!

Alberto Domínguez Domingo: Maybe the best japanisch food I've ever had. Without a doubt. Tasting 10 different fish was quite incredible. Different cooked method and preparations. You dont have enough. It was an amazing experience and service was very qualified, polite and friendly ( as most japanish). Totally recommended

Alexandra Toader: Our experience was very pleasant and we would definitely come back. All dishes were divine, we absolutely loved the menu. Maybe I would have avoided the complementary earth dessert which was just not on the same level. Regarding the wine we have some mixed feeling about a couple of them, but overall we enjoyed the opportunity to taste some east European wines. Service was splendid but there are a few details to improve, for example picking up on the fact that someone is left handed and pose the glasses and cutlery accordingly, water also could have been served more promptly. Regarding the aperitif I would agree with some other reviewers the price was high and not transparent. A bottle of water was 10 euro, personally I can understand. But overall the price for the menu was fair. Regarding the restaurant itself we loved the interior design, the view over the city was magnificent. Something to improve would be more obvious indications downstairs at the entrance on how to reach the restaurant. The light overall could be improved, it took us a bit to get used to the light which felt like having it a bit directly in the eyes, maybe I would even suggest a bit less light. For the next guests interested to visit the restaurant I would suggest to request if possible a table with the view on the Alexanderplaz tv tower.

Kristopher Manabo: This is absolutely one of the finest and most wonderful place to eat in Berlin. Every-time I visit Berlin I always take my partner here. And ever since we’ve been here since 2021, we’ve had such a a magical experience with the team. Barbara is truly an Angel and she made our experience memorable! The food is remarkable and imaginative. I wish I could go through each dish and explain each one. I’d love to go back and make notes and write a proper review. The food is really amazing! You must try this place. I would email ahead for any special occasion and I think you will be surprised. I wish for my next visit to connect with the team and take videos and photos of the food. This place needs more exposure and more people need to know about it. Thank you to Barb, Eric and rest of sky kitchen for always putting their heart ❤️ soul into every dish. I feel so honored and privileged to be able to eat this amazing food. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you. 🙏 Dankeschön!!! -Tessa and Kristopher
Response: Dear Kristopher, dear Tessa, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on this medium and for your amazing review. We are so thrilled to hear that you have become such a fan of Skykitchen and highly appreciate your kind words. We are looking forward to seeing you soon again. Best regards, your Skykitchen Team

Tomás Fonseca: Very good tasting menu with probably the most unique dish being a menu surprise (the carrot). All other dishes were very well prepared and the flavours on spot. We had a eastern European white wine that was fruity and good. Special mention to the staff because the service was impeccable. The price is a bit steep (125€ per person), so probably a place to celebrate special occasions.

Tainturier Jean-Baptiste: excellent ! just great. Location is exceptional. Food very good and creative. Service perfect

Traveling Heels: Perfection! A night to remember! Amazing view to complement the excellent service and delicious food. The whole team and their attention to detail in flavours, atmosphere and presentation created a sparkling dinner. We had a good view at the kitchen pass and it was a pleasure to see their team work. So sync that is as poetic as their dishes. Their wine is excellent and an amazing surprise. Definitely not the last time.
Response: Dear Traveling Heels, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience at Skykitchen and we are glad to hear that you had a perfect evening with us. We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon. With best regards, Skykitchen

Klara Spoerr: We had an awesome night at this restaurant. You get only a four course menu due to covid and the effects on hospitality. Those courses are however a testimony of great expertise and are delicious. Not to experimental yet new, fun and interesting. highly recommend for a down to earth haute cuisine experience at a solid at a decent pricepoint with an incredible view!

GUCCIGIRList: What an experience! The most amazing, beautiful and tasteful meal we ever had!We had a wonderful evening in a beautiful restaurant with a stunning view. We will come back!
Response: Dear Guccigirl, Thank you for your fantastic review and for taking the time to post your dinner experience at Skykitchen. We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon. Stay stafe and well. Best regards, Your Skykitchen Team

Andrej Balaz: A high class food experienced in a relaxed restaurant and great, friendly service. If you are looking to taste reimagined European cuisine, you won't be disappointed. Many of the dishes were somewhat classic in taste, yet every ingredient is well chosen. We paid 200 euros for two four course menus (which includes about three to four dishes on the house). Definitely deserves a star. The view is great as well.

Frederic Muzel: Beautiful experience with a price. The restaurant has a beautiful location on the 12th floor of a hotel. The view is great, make sure to reserve a table as people are planning to go here for 3-6 weeks in advance. The personnel was extremely friendly and made a good impressions. The food speaks for itself. Great eye for detail and a very modern German cuisine. We had an amazing experience only item I need to add is that you should check for the prices of the digestive drinks We received a drink less then 0.1 and had to pay 20€. This should have been communicated. Nevertheless, great place to eat.

Shawn Lyon: Food is outstanding and creative, combining interesting ingredients and aromas. The craftsmanship in the presentation is excellent. Even for a 1* restaurant this is very high standard, reminding of more *s at times. The wine accompaniment was interesting and pleasantly surprising, using many lesser known regions and grape varietals, making for an exciting addition to the courses. Although located in a big block hotel somewhat outside of central areas, it is a great location as there are views across the city from the restaurant. Pleasant, modern ambience, while still feeling 'warm' and comfortable. The service is very attentive and friendly informal, which we enjoy.

KI SHUN LAM: The best dinner I having in Berlin. The service is professional. The food is wonderful and details. Very good price. It make my day.

olga smirnov: WOW!! This is a very special restaurant, one of the oldest in Berlin and definitely the best service! I was lucky to find a table there on a short notice due to the train strike.. reserve in advance!! The food was unbelievable! I chose 3 course menu- and loved all of the dishes. The owner came to greet me and checked everything is ok.. And the waiters were very professional and attending! Would love to go back on my next trip to Berlin. FYI- they accept only cash payments- so prepare in advance.

Piotr Wilman: Very old style … everything. Atmosphere is formal and stiff but food is great. They serve frog’s legs.

Carl Kruse: A throwback to another century in decor as others have mentioned. Good (not great) classical French food, reasonably priced, as is the small wine list. What detracts from the place, and makes the restaurant a place to avoid is the service. Supervised by the elderly lady who owns the restaurant (Frau Heising?) the service while somewhat professional, is stiff, antiseptic, bordering on unfriendly, and ultimately creating something of an uncomfortable feeling.

Joanna De Wolf: It was a weird experience for us... We're maybe not the kind of people u would expect in a fine-dining restaurant, but who cares? We didn't feel 100% welcome, didn't find the host (m'am Heising) very friendly, but maybe there's just too much of an age-gap :) At the end we had to pay 204€, we gave 210€ and she didn't come back with the change. I told her about it and she apologized and gave me 10€ back, which made me feel bad because we didn't want to pay less than we had too, but maybe she felt bad about forgetting it. I dont know, the whole thing just felt a bit weird. But yeah overall experience: food was good, not wauw. And they changed the bottle of wine, which was cool :)

Eran Ganz: This 40yrs old French restaurant is probably one of the best (and hidden) places in Berlin. Serving high quality traditional French food. You can pick between 3 or 4 course meal. We enjoyed evey moment! Pay attention that the family that own the place is very strict about reservations and accurate arrival time! They have zero flexibility and 100% proffessionalism. Very recommended!

Dee Han: Absolutely beautiful restaurant very intimate experience. The wine is second to none and the food is so beautiful! Highly recommend!

Marco Fattore: A french gastronomy restaurant in Berlin that, frankly, could offer more. In one menu combination, had the scargot which was so, so. The fish was very good. Limited deserts. Limited wine list. Attention:- Accept NO credit cards (only cash).

Alistair Currie: Amazing food. Excellent hosts. Can't fault anything. Atmosphere is incredible and nostalgic.

Benny Law: A classic restaurant. Friendly staff and excellent food. Worth every penny.

Keith Howell: Modern restaurant serving modern German cuisine. Really interesting interior in what was once an electricity substation. Food was on the whole well presented. Cooked to a high standard and very tasty. Great wine selection and option of a craft beer. Very efficient service, in particular because we were a large group.

Michael Fuller: Well worth the charge The only disappointment of a wonderful meal was the weather. It was so warm that we sat outside on the terrace rather than in the architecturally stunning interior. Either inside or outside though this is a beautiful location by the canal in an area that is popular with locals for relaxation. While you can order courses individually there are two set menus (one for vegetarians) of five courses which you would be recommended to choose. The main menu costs €79 and can be accompanied by a €44 wine selection. Again this is recommended. The menu changes from time to time. There are also a selection of small appetisers to start. Each course is interesting and beautifully presented, served by happy staff rightly proud of such wonderful food. This is modern German food in a wonderful location. Elegance and complexity in the food in an industrial setting built for form (architectural beauty) and function. Not cheap but well worth the cost. Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Berlin.

khaled gomaa: Perfect! The food, the service, the setting, everything was more than expected!Even the simplest of ingredients tasted extraordinary. I never thought I'd love a tomato that much. Highly recommend for important dates!

Annekathrin Böck: Amazing interior, food and wines and service. One of our favorites in Berlin. We had the five course menus, both versions (veggie and normal) and absolutely loved everything about it. Nothing to improve.

Oli Chan: The fish dish, the walnut cream for the beef and the last dessert were really good

Maurizio Azzalini: The interior decoration is modern and tasteful. This applies to the terrace as well. The service is professional and friendly. They even perform the ritual of explaining every dish to you in similar fashion as in a Michelin starred restaurant. However, the dishes do not match the expectations set by the atmosphere and they certainly do not justify the prices. The quality of the food/products is superb, but the ensemble suffers from conflicting tastes. I had a flank steak served with vegetables and creames did conflicted with the meat's natural taste. My wife had an aubergine combined with other vegetables that also did not harmonize with the main component of the dish. Instead of enhancing the core of a dish, the combinations ended up hurting the overall experience. The whole was less than the sum of its parts. The dishes also lacked in imagination and novelty. Also, most dishes were too salty, which made matters worse. We booked a table after seeing the prices and the reviews in high hopes, because they usually an indicator for a superior eating experience. But we ultimately left underwhelmed and the restaurant is definitely overpriced for it has to offer. We didn't drink any wine, so I cannot comment on that.

Morten Mortensen: We had the best evening at The Volt. The service from our waiter was perfect, he was helpful and so kind. The food was out of this world. Will definitely come back!

Guilherme Di Giacomo: Overall very nice dinner. Staff was very nice. One if the courses was a. It disappointing though. I still recommend it.

Ivan Fenenko: Thanks for the great food and service 🖤Enjoyed every course

Natasa Sreckovic: Everything was amazing! Staff, food, venue. Would definitely recommend and come back here!

Medhi Deschrijvere: We visited Berlin for a week from Belgium and wanted to find the best places to eat, and this place was amazing. Incredible service,The food is, of course, exquisite. So grateful we got to come here, worth the short trip to Berlin. A special Thank you for the service during the dinner, the delicious food, and the memorable evening. I had a blast!

Christian Kmiotek: Nice place with very attentionate service and amazing German food. They call it German tapas, so be sure to order a few of these fresh quality and well prepared menu items. We loved it and will be back. Go there even if you think you do not like German food.

Marine Léger: Went there a couple of times and the food is absolutely stunning! The atmosphere is really good, service is fast, and the menu is beautifully inspired. Making some classic German recipes a modern dish full of flavour.

Matthias Klatt: When I first received the invite, I was excited and when it turned out that we actually had a connection to an insider I was even more thrilled. Needless to say that we enjoyed an evening of PERFECT service. 👌🏼 From the person greeting you at the door, to the service people and the barkeeper everyone has been amazing tonight. I do love to return to my culinary roots occasionally, especially, in terms of a different approach than oversized and heavy dishes like pork knuckle 😅 (don’t get me wrong, I love pork knuckles but I also love shareable, “taster-sized” dishes a lot! 👌🏼😁 Hence, @peterpaul_restaurant presented a great offer to my linking… 🤤 German tapas with great service and lovely drinks are my kind of start into@the weekend! 🎉 Thanks to everyone involved in this lovely evening! 👌🏼

Beppe Traversa: Wow! The top of the top! Good choice of typical German dishes cooked with skill and originality. Great wine selection. GOOD JOB!

Matthias Schmidt: An absolutely amazing place. Exceptional service that makes you feel at home and where you truly sense that they enjoy what they are doing. Sensational food which leaves you with a deep, comfortable sentiment. Rarely had a better experience despite having enjoyed hundreds if restaurants around the world.

Trym Nyheim: If you're going to experience German cuisine in Berlin, this is the place to visit. Very professional staff and the food was amazing. You should definitely try the cocktails and the food from the seasonal menu.

Andreas Evensen Goa: Great! Would highly recommend this place! And the Dutch waiter, he was awesome!Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Eike Bosche: First visit to this trendy restaurant in Berlin Mitte. From the start a great experience - thanks to Mona our waitress. Nice 2 see an employee with great personality 👍 The food was ok, good flavours. Some of the dishes need a bit more kick such as Himmel and Erde - a bit dry. The cheese dumplings where amazing so was the Schwarzwälder Dessert - Mind-blowing !!! Thank you for a memorable evening

Aylin Ünal: Nice ambiance and very friendly service.I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its delicious German tapas and would like to come again for sure.
