Hotel und City Camping Nord Hettler & Lange: what do users think?

Wito Werner: Decent price for decent quality, but still I think it is the best offer in Berlin. The advantages: clean toilets amd showers, no extra fees for showers (I really appreciated it), good location - just 11 km from the centre. What I didn't like was a shortage of facilities like cooking space or benches and the fact you can't pay with a card. But I generally recommend this place - clean and peaceful. 2 supermarkets nearby.

Dave Brons: EDIT : visitors should note that TEGEL Airport closed in 2021 so aircraft noise is no longer a problem. The good: Well connected to public transport. Narrow camping slot by the river , but nice and shaded. Professional check in and welcome. The bad: Cash only. I know that Germans are accustomed to paying huge bills in cash, but for many of us, carrying huge amounts of cash on a camping trip is just not something we feel safe doing. It's 2022 not 1991, so I think it's time for this site to embrace card technology.

Guillaume Thivolet: Camping is rather small but has all the amenities needed for a short stay. During our 3 days we did not hear any planes. Showers could be cleaner, price is good and special mention to the biergarten waiter who gave excellent service.

aljaz pogorelcnik: Dirty toilets & showers. We stayed there for 4 days, so did someones used q-tips in the showers. Never seen any cleaning person, stinky situation. Chem toilet disposal not working etc. Cash only. All in all, the place is a mess.

nil nul: Stayed for 3 nights in late September.WIFI: 1/5, not good in most places.Enironment: 2/5, a little loud, tenting site is not clean.

Mark Pree: My wife and I came to visit Berlin for 4 days / 3 nights. We stayed at Hotel und City Camping Nord site. We arrived after 18:00 Friday evening and called the reception on our way there to ask for advice. They were very helpful and told us we were able to enter the site, choose a pitch for our Motorhome and see the receptionist the following morning. The site is 8/10 very clean, the showers were nice and clean, the water nice and hot what more could you ask for! For us a short walk (20 minutes) to PeterSternStrasse metro and you have the U7 line towards Berlin centre. Very easy way to get around, I suggest the 24 hour ticket. (Don’t forget to validate it!) All in all very happy and would recommend it, they even gave us a present for our 2 dogs 🙂

Nicholas De Palma: Pleasant and affordable campground by the river. No not the quietest place, and I heard little in the way of airplanes that other people mentioned. Nice to wake up to boats and paddlers going by. Cheap laundry, clean bathrooms, short enough ride(25 mins by motorbike/car) to the city. Beer garden was nice for evening relaxation. Was nice to have breakfast as an option. Fresh baked rolls with butter and jam available for one euro. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the woman who was working the breakfast on my last day. Every other day a nice young woman was very helpful and kind, offered an extra egg when there was one, let me have butter and jam that was there with my coffee and roll. After spending 4 days and spending money there, the older woman with glasses was very rude to me before I left…scolding me for grabbing a small plate and butter/jam to use with the hard roll I just bought from them. When I asked if I could buy a hard boiled egg for the roll she just started getting angry that I asked and it was not part of breakfast. Very rigid and nasty woman. Either wait to interact with the nice young blonde woman working breakfast, or go elsewhere…heads up the angry woman was only on a Monday;) Otherwise a very pleasant stay for camping, wunderbar!

J J: My experience was camping in a tent here. For two people and a dog it was €22.50 to pitch our tent. The tent area is near the water which is fenced off and is accessible. You pitch your tent in dirt. Not sand. Dirt. It is fine and gets everywhere. This place in turn is DIRTY! The bathrooms are dirty and no one cleans up after themselves. There is also no communal kitchen at all. In addition, it is extremely near the airport and is SUPER LOUD! I took a video during the day to show how loud it is. Luckily the flights seem to become infrequent from 00:00 to 05:15 so you’ll get some sleep. The only good thing about this place is there is a car park nearby here and you can park for €2.00 for the entire day and catch the U6 to the city center. I would not recommend this place nor would I stay here again.

Marta Gruener: Very nice place in a quiet area of Berlin. Many campers - some for 1 day with a tent, others for longer time. On place many showers, WC (outside and in hotel - opened for guests all day). Many electric nests to charge anything you need...;) There is also an outside bar (grill, beer, cold non-alcoholic drinks...) by the channel/river opened in afternoon. Great placed - cause in the near lays a small playground for children (sandbox and few more little things). You can eat breakfast by hotel (extra any day you want - if you are a camper) or order fresh “Brötchen” without need to buy them on your own. In the near (1-1.5km max?) is a bus stop to get anywhere you need with public transportation (*in the evening/night the way back is a bit challenging as there are no lamps alongside the road to camping (street by the river). It’s not modern place, showers are ‘stuck’ to the wall (hard to wash a child:), sometimes it smells from the pipes in bathroom with ‘staying water’... but it’s clean, quiet and a house we had pleasure to rent - was fully equipped in “mosquito’s nets”, there were 2children sits extra, dishwasher in kitchen and coffee machine too... many advantages:)
Response: Dear Marta Gruener, On behalf of our company I would like to thank you for your rating. The Hotel & City Camping team would be delighted to welcome you as your next visit to our capital. With best regards Doreen L. -Leitererin Public Relations Hotel & City Camping Berlin-

Gaea101 Tuck: We stayed for 5 days in a tent, right beside the canal. Beautiful to wake up to, especially being in the city. Great facilities, friendly staff. Hot showers and plug ins for electronics included in the price. My only complaint is the noise from the airport. I would suggest ear plugs!
Response: Dear Gaea101 Tuck, On behalf of our company I would like to thank you for your rating. The Hotel & City Camping team would be delighted to welcome you as your next visit to our capital. With best regards Doreen L. -Leitererin Public Relations Hotel & City Camping Berlin-

DCC-Campingplatz Berlin-Gatow: what do users think?

teil bakker: The campsite was rather expensive (35 euros per night for 2 persons with a small tent and a car) looking at the overall picture. There were several homeless people sleeping and staying at the campsite whom bothered us and other people asking for alcohol, food, etc. The campsite did not have any other security than a gate which was open all day and can be locked by night. The toilets and showers were okay. The conection to the city was okay, it takes around 50-60 minutes to get to the city center. Half of the campsite is for long term stayers.

Amber: had a terrible stay here, a party till super late at night and when someone on our tent space was just talking with other people they got a complaint about their noise while it was just talking, no complaint about the party whatsoever. Staff were insanely rude aswel I do not recommend this place, I left early and they did not want to give my money back for the stay i actually planned.

Christofer Sundqvist: Nice campsite with 45-60 min from City center, x34 will take you from outside the camping to Zoologischer garten. Quiet during the nights and evenings, showers are free from extra charge, quite well kept as well. Not much of a playground for the kids though... 4 stars is mainly for the location.

Francesco Alifuoco: Very rude receptionist, bathrooms pretty dirty and not enough for the amount of people when the camping is full and you are not allowed to leave anything to charge in rhe kitchen or anywhere. Really disappointed from my stay here

Ben Ziggo: Nice camping the bus stops right in front of the camping it takes 45-50 min to reach alexanderplatz with bus and tram.

Rich Mears: Good value site with mainly grass (some are muddier/sandy) level pitches. Some of the facilities are showing their age, but everything works. Showers are included, but you need to pay for WiFi, hobs in the kitchen and washing. There is a small cafe/bar on site and fresh bed is available. The reception team are pretty helpful and you can purchase a Berlin travel card. There is a bus stop outside the site and the trip to Central Berlin is about an hour.

Daniel Capasso: Takes about an hour to get into town but it's super easy. Camping ground is neat and tidy, facilities are awesome and the staff were great. They let me post some items that I desperately needed to them and held them for a week without a fuss. Would absolutely go back again. 👍

Noel Winstanley: Very good base for exploring Berlin. Good transport links - 40 mins from busstop outside campsite gets you to Zoo interchange. Showers free. Well maintained and clean toilet block. Cafe owner a little grouchy.

Donald Booth: This camp site has a bus stop within 20 metres which takes about 40 minutes to get to the central bus station in Zoologischer Garten. An unlimited day ticket (Tageskarte "AB") is E7. The staff speak OK English. For an additional fee you can get WIFI (slow was 0.5mbps) in almost any area of the site (2 euros 1 hour; 5 euros for 24 hours). Toilets are decent. There is a snack bar but no shop. There is a Lidl 2km away There are water taps on the pitch, I would come again.

Sean McDermott: Great site for visiting Berlin or Potsdam. Neat, tidy, organised. Very good shower block, grey water disposal point, black water disposal point. Bus stop outside site for Berlin or Potsdam. Will be back.

Alex Bahlk: It is a lovely camping ground with friendly people. The tent area is a bit limited. Reserve in advance!

Sofia Sandin: A perfect get away from the city. The camp site is located on the lake away from the main roads. The site has a beach that is perfect for a swim but also a lot of swim spots along the lake. We arrived and were welcomed by the host, everything was very easy but well organised. Its a great atmosphere and even though we only speak a little German, everyone was very helpful and friendly!

Benjamin Brown: Great camping platz, kind owners, clean facilities and beautiful lovely location!

Zaur Mustafayev: It is really nice place but you have to be careful if you plan to do wild camping. Around the place is a lot of wild pigs. The restaurant is fantastic. Despite the german people eat lot of bacon, they also offer you some vegan and vegetarian foods :)

Jaime González-Arintero: Nice camping, affordable and very close to Berlin. It's not very big, and it gets really busy in the summer, so send them an email before going (even if you just have a small tent). Besides, it's not allowed to park cars inside, so you have to leave it in the closest public parking (15 minutes walk), or in one of the sides of the road that head to the camping (and risk to get a parking ticket). You'd rather drop your things in the main gate, set your stuff up, and then park the car once you're done. Bicycles are allowed of course. The facilities are nicely maintained, and the owners/managers are friendly and helpful. Hey, but expect rules for everything, as you're in Germany after all ;) By the way, it's allowed to take dogs, just ask for it!

Paweł Troć: We stayed here for a weekend and it was great! Everybody was super friendly and helpful (and my German is terrible). Playground is in good shape, toilets are clean. We will comeback for sure.

Dermot Meaney: Strange campground but wonderfully at the same time. We found it by accident and had a nice quiet few days camping by Mugglesee in the middle of summer. We met some nice people there and could buy beer & food at the shop. It is a long(ish) way from the nearby town. We were told some stories about its eastie past life. Any how it was good experience for two Aussies on a European cycling expedition between Oslo & Athens.

Zohaib Akhtar Khan: Nice place for swimming

Fuerst Renje: My second Home

Elisa Karberg: Named after the filmed drama "Kuhle Wampe oder: Who owns the world" (1932) by Berthold Brecht, which is also about a colony of tents, this is a really beautiful and peaceful idyll. Here you can camp or, like us, take a break from the bike tour for a snack. The food offer was German cuisine delicious with self-service. There are also bicycle racks and toilets, keys on request.

Campingplatz Berlin-Kladow: what do users think?

Christy Duijvelaar: Large camping area. Friendly staff. Huge service buildings wit many toilets. Strict on wearing face masks. Two open fields for short term stays of campers, one tent field. Couple of nice large, but expensive places for longer stays. One gets a key to the gate for night arrivals. Bakery shop is great, they made a beautiful and very tasty birthday cake for our daughter. Nice rolls as well, not cheap though. City centre is quite a distance. We did it in 1.5 hour on the bike, but we're not biking too fast. Public transport is possible, but also takes around the same time.

Emre Ebeturk: Overall, not bad for a change. Most of the space of this camping place is allotted for RVs and seemingly for long term stays. During the weekend, it looked like there was not many spaces left for RVs. The average age is quite old, which can be an advantage because people are quiet and respectful (except on Saturday nights at the restaurants where they do Karaoke and you should avoid :@ ). However, there really isn't much space between each party. Although there are beautiful trees, lakes and forest nearby, it does not make you feel in nature. The area spared for tents is quite restricted but because they are not numbered or clearly designated, you can simply go there and find some space to set up your tent, unless you don't mind being too close to other people. It is child friendly, so it may be a good place to take kids for their first camping, if you live in Berlin or Potsdam. There is a playground in the site, and two decent lakes to swim nearby. Restrooms and showers were clean and people were mostly respecting Corona related measures. Hot water in the showers are free of charge. There is a laundry room with washing machines and another room for dish-washing in the same facility. At the entrance of this building, there also stands a refrigerator open to public use. There is a restaurant + bakery at the entrance of the site. The bakery is open until the afternoon when the restaurant opens. The bakery is operated by the nicest person. Fresh baked bread is great, and there are a couple of sandwiches and croissants but the food options are still a bit limited. The restaurant offers really favorable prices for drinks and food. Burgers are not the best but I won't complain. Staff were super nice but, to be honest, really slow. We waited MORE THAN AN HOUR for our burgers. Prices are surprisingly above average. There are several better camping sites in Berlin which charge less per visitor and tent. This is one of the major reasons why we will not prefer this site for the next camping stay. But the main reason is that it feels packed...

Mads BS: Overall okay, amenities pretty run down and could use an extra clean.

marco van den burg: Super camping. Nice friendly people. Toilets andere showers are a bit older. But very clean. You can take a bus for only 7 euro to berlin. And use the metro / bus / train all Day. Kids are free. We will go visit again .

Helga Fritz: Very clean and Family friendly camping Site. Easy to reach from berlin. Fair prices, warm showers with no charges, beautiful lakes. Take high volt cables for electricity and you’re good to go.

Sinem Kurt: Peaceful and comfortable camping area. We went there by bike in 1,5 hours from Berlin Mitte and stayed in a tent ⛺

Ari .T: Worst staff ever seen in a camping place.

Klaus Pedersen: Ok site, but a bit far away from Berlin if you like to visit the city. The staff wasn't very friendly and I probably won't return to this site.

Carlos Gonzalez: Lovely place and clean 👌

John Hall: We were satisfied with this camping site and they were friendly.

Deler: Nice for the kids/ family

Joe Berlin: Top

Pepe Voß: OK

Fabian: Excellent because remote and yet well connected. I organized educational seminars and student council trips here and the contact was always friendly and accommodating!

Berndelinho: Very nice team, and a place that needs to be preserved‼️

Sophie Fiedler: A great destination for the whole family, because here you can explore the forest and nature. The guided tours of the forest are also great for kids and explain the forest in a child-friendly way.

Theo Höpfner: Is cool there, just bungalows and a house in the middle with sheets, public transport and so on.

Gregor May: Good for short trips close to the city

Arne Rose: It is very dirty and the beds are extremely saggy! Would like to rate 0 stars...

Andrew Walde: Great facility. A small paradise for children and youth groups.

Michael Potsdam: Idyllically secluded on the Teltow Canal.

Ra Ko: The worst campsite ever. Electricity overpriced, landlady (without words). Expensive parking space rental. Never again. There's one star too many 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Brüning-Reisinger Andreas: Nice place, only for permanent campers not for day campers.

MeiSea60: Is very nice and not far from the water

nix nixen: This is NOT a campsite, but a domicile for long-term caravan parkers. It has nothing to do with camping.

Peter Neft: Spend wonderful weekends and short breaks on the square for many decades.

Martin H.: Nice campsite for permanent campers (no day visitors).

Walter Dahm: All the best, gladly again

Hotel und City Camping Süd Hettler & Lange: what do users think?

Philippa Walker: Good campsite, but 3 * because of the following: Wifi only available in one location, very low on choice at the bistro which was not open often. The breakfast area was great but we only realised on the last day you could order rolls. Coffee very good. Pitches are not marked out so you're lucky if you have enough space and a good spot....we did, fortunately. Electric and water well supplied, washing up facilities need updating, showers and loos OK. Payment by cash only....really? In 2022?

Faustas Tolkusinas: Friendly, communicative and helpful staff. The showers and toillets are clean. Due to the recent heat and the fact, that the camping is next to the pine forest, you will be placing the tent or camper mostly on dried out grass or dust. The campground is narrow and long. Ans if you are residing the tent area by the end of the campground, you will make some kilometers while commuting to the dish washing or wc area. Better to have a bicycle. :) passing by cars through the campground raise a fair amount of dust. There are USB sockets in the wall of shower buildings. Unfortunately it is not safe to leave the devices alone to charge. My powerbank was stolen and according to the receptionist, it is a common problem.

Arush Mayank: Perfect place to plug your camper/rv/motor home. The facilities are good. Neat and clean. The was area is decent and well kept. Ample space to walk and jog. The mornings are nice with the canal on one side. The only thing that i did not lune was that it shuts the gate at 11pm.

Lise Dybkjær: The lady there literally saved me. After an extremely long day of travel every place in Berlin was sold out due to a lot of big events in the city, but she managed to find a spot for me and my small tent.Thank you ♥️

Serafin Stauch: Im very disappointed they changed the price of our stay at checkout when we paid, if you are 2 people and want to stay for 3 nights be expected to pay €250+. We expected to pay €144 (€48 per night) like it says on their website for 2 people. They also only accept cash and it is a pain in the a** finding the closest working ATM (it's by the train station). I am very disappointed, if I knew it would be so expensive I would have chosen a downtown hotel.

Jeff Smith: This is a great location for a stay when visiting Berlin. It is in an attractive location next to a canal and forest, with ample opportunities for walking and cycling. The area is also full of history relating to West Berlin and East Berlin. There are easy connections to public transport to get into the city. The campsite is clean and tidy and can provide breakfast. I didn't use the wifi, but it is available. It is easy to find, just off the 115 motorway.
Response: Dear Jeff Smith, On behalf of our company I would like to thank you for your rating. The Hotel & City Camping team would be delighted to welcome you as your next visit to our capital. With best regards Doreen L. -Leitererin Public Relations Hotel & City Camping Berlin-

Janez Demsar: We spent three nights here in a tent. The place is OK, clean, with washing machines, free showers and very reasonable prices. The problem is a nearby highway with lots of traffic the whole night, so I'd probably have problems sleeping if I wasn't tired from spending whole days walking around in Berlin. :) We were also surprised there were no mosquitos although the place is by the canal.
Response: Dear Janez Demsar, On behalf of our house I would like to thank you for your review. The Hotel & City Camping team would be delighted to welcome you again as a guest on your next visit to our capital. With best regards Doreen L -Head of Public Relations Hotel & City Camping Berlin-

catfish: a lot of water on the ground due to rain falling very hard but we soon found a dry spot, next to the river, barges and boats, nice to watch. facilities were big and very clean so no problem there. staff not overly helpful, restaurant was only open 0700-1000 for breakfast only, 7.50 euros, just a bit expensive when mcdonalds ten mins away lol, little walk to the bus stop but easy to get into berlin and back. will visit again if we are that way in the future
Response: Dear Guest, On behalf of our company I would like to thank you for your rating. The Hotel & City Camping team would be delighted to welcome you as your next visit to our capital. With best regards Doreen L. -Leitererin Public Relations Hotel & City Camping Süd-

Björgvin Bæhrenz Þórðarson: The construction work while I was there was a bit disturbing. The washing machines are not clean. No towels in the bathroom. The soap was thinned out with water. WiFi was only usable at the bar (barely). However, the scene at the bar was cosy.

Dražen Bátrla: The room was clean. Service was ok. Our room was with four beds.Outside of the city and near the river so its very calm. Breakfast was standard, nothing special.
Response: Dear Drazen Batrla, On behalf of our house I would like to thank you for your review. The Hotel & City Camping team would be delighted to welcome you again as a guest on your next visit to our capital. With best regards Doreen L -Head of Public Relations Hotel & City Camping Berlin-

Stellplatz am Plötzensee: what do users think?

Sana Bougrine: Wonderful camping spot, a real hidden treasure in Berlin! Great owners as well... we will definitely come back!!Grts,The Belgians 😜

A. HA: The beach is cool, good place for camping, and spending a lovely nights there...

Izzy Ment: Hammer!!

Jo Lindbuechl: Only four stars because the sanitary building is very old. The place is fantastic in the lido Plötzensee and is very well maintained. The young team that builds the pitch is very committed and deserves praise. We are curious how this will develop. We'll be back🏖️

Detlef: Great parking space as a starting point for visiting Berlin. Close to the center, only 6 km by bike to the government district. Beautiful cycle paths on the Spree and the side canals. Sanitary building getting old, functional but clean. Unique lido with a great atmosphere. We'd love to come back.

chantalle kunze: We were super excited, although the paramedic system wasn't that great or very bad. For the first time, I didn't mind taking a cold shower. the place itself - super nice for small and large - the lake really great Especially in the morning - the operators and employees are super nice and really make an effort - the cost very well - Super quiet in the evening, which we really didn't expect The pitches are very different Partly meadow in the middle ‼️ Partly very constant but shadow ‼️ I can only recommend looking for the right one, which the operators have no problem with. It's not as central as described, to get into the city it's quite a walk, change trains. We didn't mind but I guess it's not for everyone. We will be back.

Martin Fink (Jorval): How do i say it 5 stars are actually not enough. Well, that's a personal opinion that I would rather describe the pitch as an alternative, but we like that very much. The team is super nice and everything is very straightforward. For example, my wife had to work for 2 hours again on the day of departure, we could just stay that time with electricity on the pitch, not necessarily the rule in Germany. The parking space belongs to a lido in the north-west in Wedding / Tegel (I'm not sure), i.e. in the center of Berlin. In 20min. If you are in the city (center) by bike with the public it takes 30 to 40 minutes. The lido offers all kinds of entertainment, from playgrounds to an archery range to a water play castle (which I think costs extra). The beach has a textile and a nudist area. There is also a beach bar where you can have a beer in the evening and chill out a little (of course with a distance!) Speaking of chilling, there are some leather cooks in the beach bar, a romantic couch on the nudist beach and hammocks. The sanitary facilities were of course closed due to Corona, but looked very clean even if they are no longer the latest. Despite being blocked, they were cleaned. We will definitely come again, many thanks to the team for the great service and this pearl of parking space in the middle of Berlin.

Olitschka R.: We stayed three days at this fun campsite (as we found it). One thing is certain, it is not for philistines and people who do not tolerate noise (during the day, at night it was quiet). Planes and rescue helicopters often take off and land nearby. In the evening there is live music with a campfire and much more... massage offer, Yoga by the lake ice cream parlour Fresh rolls beach bar Nude area Archery and much more for young people The Brandenburg Gate can be reached quickly by bike and so can everything else. The place itself still has potential for improvement e.g. electricity (not available everywhere) there are no proper plots which may be a counterpoint for some, (didn't bother us) slightly chaotic clutter Outdated sanitary facilities (but they were very clean) But the young team is busy rebuilding and improving everything. We found it very nice there, because you can switch off after a strenuous city trip, let the children run and do their work (who don't bother anyone there) and end the evening with nice music and a campfire. We will be back The team continued success in preserving the 120-year-old listed lido Plötzensee.

Andreas Manderscheid: After my first overnight stay in May, I was told that the sanitary facilities (with hot showers) would be functional in summer, but this was not the case in July 2020. Nevertheless, I am giving it five stars because I want to support this nice and helpful team in building it up. The location of the parking space is great, swimming in the lake, a variety of activities in the vicinity, on foot, by bike or public transport possible. We would love to come back!

Stefan B: RV park at Plötzensee (Nordufer 26, 13351 Berlin district Wedding), quiet location directly at the outdoor pool, entrance not easy to see, so first drove past it. You really have to drive into the driveway from the outdoor pool and then immediately turn left to get to the pitches. Just around the corner Aldi and Bus & Tram just under 5-10 minutes on foot. You don't get a location like this anywhere else, nor can it be expanded, but the essentials are there. A young, very committed team is completely redesigning the lido at Plötzensee. Without knowing the previous state, you can see immediately that a lot has already been achieved here. The complex is very spacious, no numbered parking spaces. Conclusion; We recommend.

Zeltlagerplatz e.V.: what do users think?

Deler: Far from x34 Busstop. No bonfire is allowed.Bathroom are not cleanVery small and tight for a tent

Rene Payne: Stayed here for a youth camp. Great location. But it is very run down and it does not seem that the care takers repair or take care of the place. Toilet seats falling off, faucets loose, door handles on rooms falling off and over growing sticker bushes. Dirty everywhere inside. This place has so much more potential if it was only taken care of.
Response: we are always happy to welcome guests at our camping site, for context the place has been run by a small community club of volunteers and has been for over 70 years. we run on non-profit and sadly haven‘t received any significant federal funding since the late 80‘s. I assure you we are aware of the things you mentioned and are constantly busy investing our own freetime and money in fullfilling health and safety standards to ensure campers from all over the world can continue to experience our beautiful site. any donations you may make will be going towards that goal. I hope in case you‘ll visit us again the progress we are constantly making will be apparent. Friendship & auf wiedersehen!

Joost van Wijk: We had a school trip here, it was a lot of fun.The tents were fine.

Mohammad Sherif: Natural

vpp 011: Really a cheap option for a tent overnight stay in Berlin!! There is a big group tent, a gas cooker and a fridge and the owners are very friendly too! Only the bathrooms are a bit "shabby", but there is no lack of hot water either! Except for the distance to the city center, it is really sufficient

Schulen Coolen: For a week class trip that was really shabby! In most of the rooms there were sometimes no sockets and if there were any, they didn't work! The hospitality wasn't the best either, we asked questions about sockets and we only got clumsy answers like, "It's not our problem". Very disgusting also on site on some mattresses were brown like red spots which is very disgusting! Not recommended the place.

Markus Hartmann: Super nice here, all around huge wooded areas, a great lake...can only be recommended

Michael Häußer: Originally tents, some investment needs. Nice team of volunteers takes care of all areas. 🦊 🐗 cavort through the woods.

Diana Wüstenhagen: Bugs came out of the shower and it was dirty everywhere.

stijn Meerts: It was one of the areas where we have been with our group. It was the most expensive (and immediately the worst) and that was a pity. Almost everything is outdated and needs updating. The showers could not be closed with a door you could only cover the opening with a shower sheet. Furthermore, there was only 4 toilets for everyone in the field. And it does not stop even the pitch was nothing worth uneven ground and a rickety tent for the steam. In short, I will never come back here.

Riecke G: A nice place on the water, unfortunately a bit far for shopping. But in the summer months there is a small kiosk. Despite the proximity to the motorway, the place is quiet and the sanitary facilities are adequate and tidy. The staff are nice and helpful. However, WLAN is not available on the site, despite advertising for it not or only very weakly (therefore a point deduction)

Tom M.: Beautiful, simple place, with good S Bahn and DB Regio connections to Berlin and Potsdam. A spot right on the canal is a must if the opportunity arises. This is still heavily trafficked. The nearby Autobahn can be heard slightly, but is hardly disturbing. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. The prices are moderate for Berlin.

Harald R.: Clean sandy place on the shore. No plots. Reservations recommended. Only cash payment possible. No shop or supermarket in the vicinity. Connection to the center very good.

Paul Timmermans: Nice small campsite with clean and good sanitary facilities. For us a good base to see Berlin with the children.

Ingrid Sommer: Our favorite campsite in Berlin, we are here for the 8th time and have tried the hotel before, clean, affordable, friendly and helpful the staff

Jean-Michel Le Drogo: Located along the canal, access to the center of Berlin is less than an hour, after 10 min walk + bus + train.

manfred bohnhardt: Good campsite friendly staff.

Bernd Lange: beautiful pl

Camping Krossinsee 1930 GmbH: what do users think?

Andrew England: Disappointing. The restaurant staff are unaware or don't care that people are trying to sleep, playing their personal music loudly at the back of the building next to the tent pitches until late at night. The delivery driver at 06:30 also didn't show any consideration to anyone sleeping. The campsite, due to other campers is generally noisy as everyone plays music or talk loudly until late at night. The tent pitch area isn't great, the showers have too high a pressure. The two redeeming features are the quality of the food in the restaurant - very tasty soup and mango mousse, plus the lake which is pleasant to swim in. Also, special mention to the member of staff in the bakery who was full of energy and kindness. The poppy seed cake was excellent and will surely keep us going until lunchtime.

Esther Weil: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this camping area near Berlin. We stayed two nights and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the bathrooms. When the lady at reception said we would only need 60 cents to shower she wasn’t kidding, the water pressure is excellent and the water was immediately warm. Between the four of us we all expected something different for a camping area but were very happy with this difference. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and excited to have us (our group was very international) after such a long time with limited tourists. There’s also a cute bakery in the area that you can preorder your baked goods from by submitting a form the night before (the prices are normal bakery prices not overpriced). The restaurant in the area is a little pricey but the food and drinks were very good, and the view over the lake was nice as well. The access to public transportation into Berlin was also excellent, however it does take an hour to get into Berlin, but that’s to be expected since camping in Berlin center is not possible. We sadly did not spend too much time wandering around the campsite or taking advantage of the activities but I really would have liked to if we had more time. Overall, I would gladly stay here again. Pros: Showers, access to transportation, bakery on-site, activities offered

Tom F: Very big, very crowdy, very loud with big marina and restaurant. I cant imagine spent vacation there :-/

Marie VH: Beautiful campsite but very natural with many trees. No locations delimit so hard to find a suitable location. At the reception the lady was patient to understand us and make herself understood. I won't be back anytime soon because although it is pretty there are a lot of mosquitoes and bugs. I have been stung several times. Be careful !

Stephen Richard Boyle: Unique campsite. We stayed in one of the house things, however we turn up late (only got to have a quick drink & snacks in the club house) and had to leave early so did not see much of the campsite. Inside the campsite is not very well sign posted so a lot of our big group struggled to find were they was meant to stay. The house thing was very basic, I don't know if it was an ex-army base or something. It was quite cold in the rooms and the decor needs updating. It was a peaceful campsite. The location was pretty good.

Itay Sikolski: Great place! Near the lake⛵️well organized, clean showers, hot water, amazing stuff 👍Our first camping site in Germany;) (July 2016). We stayed their for two days, and really enjoined it. Nice and quiet, awesome walking paths in the woods near by, great restaurant with reasonable prices 👏45 min drive from Berlin. Great for kids with a small play ground. Most of the locals don't speak English, but you can manage 👌 Have fun and respect the locals , collect your trash and try to recycle what you can ;) we have just one Mother Nature...

Koen van Wijk: Nice surroundings next to the lake, and great for kids with allot of playgrounds. But the toilets and showers are very nasty. You can smell the urine everywhere when you enter the facillity. The restaurant was understaffed and the crew was rude to say the least. Wont be coming here again.Service: 3/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

Bart Severein: Expensive but not worth the money. If I spent 45 euro per night or more for camping, I don't want to have a lame card system for extra paying for a simple (rundown) shower. Crazy timer/prensence lights everywhere (so you shower in pitch darkness, or even worse, when using the toilets. You can't wash you face or hair at the sink, as it has a badly functioning touch/wave system. Wifi is an absolute disaster, don't count on checking your mail from 6 am till at least 1 am. And everything is a bit broken, light fixtures missing in the gents toilets, laundry machines only work when being kicked (no joke, advice from the receptionist). Not a very bad campsite but it is for this high rates.

Paul Turko: Took my 2 daughters for their first camping trip (2 and 5 years old), they loved it. I would definitely visit again. Nice playground, small beach next to the lake, play school for kids during the day and some dancing and games at night (maybe only at the weekend), also a free bouncy castle (maybe also only at the weekend). Mosquitoes were a pain, but survivable (end of July). My only negative impression, was that the restaurant staff were rude and unhelpful. Everything else was great.

K. Bienen: Great camping spot, clean easy to access and quiet after midnight. WARNING- Stay away from the boat place, they are unfriendly, talked us into something we didn’t want and although we cancelled our reservation before they opened, but they are forcing us to pay €66 anyway. The whole thing leaves a bad taste on an otherwise pleasant experience. You can find cheaper boat places around. This one is surprisingly unfriendly.

Campingplatz am Mahlower See bei Berlin: what do users think?

Rikke Simonsen: Waooo. Good service, very clean and a beautiful place. love the big place and privacy we had around ours car/Bobil. Good prices. The minus is that it takes a long time to travel to Berlin with bus and 2 trains. And that every emails was written in German, even I applied in English. I had too use the Google translator (cut and glue).

Kuba Łukasiewicz: Awesome camping! It’s very cozy, which is the biggest advantage. Service (at least a man who checked us in) is young, English speaking, and can also give you tips on how to reach Berlin. Showers are clean and free (sometimes they are not on campings). Also the Internet was free and worked well. Camping is a little far from Berlin, but it can be reached quickly by car or S2 metro line. Station is pretty close. Overall, it’s good and I would come back!

S de Groot: One of my favorite campings, price and hygiëne were perfect. Great experience

Anton A: Well maintained camping place. Clean restrooms and showers, laundry, spacious secluded camping lots. There are accessable shower and a changing station for the babies. The showers are free of charge. There is a playground for kids. The staff is very caring and helpful. Train station is within 2km from the campsite.

Ray Penn: The only factor that stops me giving the fifth star is the price. Compared to the majority of campsites I've visited across Europe, it is an expensive place to stay. The proximity to central Berlin is such that one has a choice of using a car or train. There are excellent links to the motorway network. The town of Mahlow is just 30 minutes on foot. All of the facilities on site are kept very clean. The only thing I would change is the location of the washing machines and dryer. They are in the same room as the hygiene facilities for disabled guests. The staff on duty at the office were very helpful and very understanding when my German language skills ran out.

Andrew Spode (Spode): Very clean facilities. A little far from the nearest town where the train station is - but there is a bus that runs every hour and then it is only around 25 minutes to central. We got a late night Uber home from central Berlin for sound 40 euros. There is a restaurant opposite that was very good, but it would have been nice to have had a coffee machine on site. We bought a kettle in the end. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely come again!

Tracy Barnes: This is a great campsite just a 30 minute train ride away from the centre of Berlin (the station is about 2kms away from the campsite). The staff were extremely helpful and took their time to answer any questions. One could order delicious bread( rolls) from the reception and the toilets were extremely clean and there were enough! There is a small lake with a small beach just across the road from the campsite which is lovely and you get a ticket at a reduced rate as a camper! Highly rocommended!

K B: Went here with my boyfriend, we rubbed our bushes together and started a bushfire

Ellis Wicks: Very hard to fault this place! We arrived late when reception was closed but found a nice pitch ourselves and checked in the next day. Reception were very helpful. Everything is über clean and modern, the toilets are spotless and lots of room! The pitches are great also, lots of room. The area is very quiet and there is a nice restaurant over the road is you are bored of BBQing. I would definitely return!

Daan de Heij: My friends and I ended up here after looking for a campsite near Berlin. I am very glad we did. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom and restroom are very clean and look really good. There is even music played there at the exact right volume, which is really nice (I think should be the new norm everywhere). Feels as if they thought of everything. There is even a box where guests can put stuff they don't need (or stuff guests have forgotten), so other guests can use it during their stay. This turned out to be very useful for us as we didn't bring shower gel. I really liked this. Prices are very reasonable, very good value. Center of Berlin is easily reached by S-Bahn (train). The train station can be reached by either car (5 min) or bus, and there is free parking at Mahlow train station. It takes about half an hour by train to get to Berlin. And public transportation is really cheap, so this was perfect for us. I want to thank the staff for the nice stay we've had.

RV parking Berlin - "Historical Fährhaus": what do users think?

Tomasz Jakowiecki: Excelent, calm place to relax and visit Berlin. You can sit in the marina and have morning coffee. Sunsets amazing. Everything clean and in proper (German:) order. People at the reception nice and helpful. Price for the stay is more than satisfying. Only campers allowed!

Marcin Podwojski: Lovely place. Great location. Small, yet very clean bathrooms. Unfortunately I was unable to find a place for gray and black water disposal. Only German speaking staff.
Response: Dear Mr. Podwojski, Thank you for your review and that you feel comfortable in our holiday resort. Our two gray and black water disposal stations are located right next to the 2 buildings. In our showcase we have tried to explain this. On the weekends, we sometimes only have German-speaking colleagues in the office. If you arrive during the week, colleagues with English language skills are of course available to you. We wish you a pleasant stay and nice eventful days in Berlin. Rainer Loeber harbor master

Martin Mann: Friendly staff. Beautiful scenery, not far from the trams to go into the city. and very clean unlike other campings I have been too. By far this is the best camping in Berlin.

David Schouten: Nice place near the boat and tram station. Wifi costs €5

Margrit Denker: Top.

Wendy K: Average parking. Nothing special.

Fant Winter: Just an extremely cute place. Yes, it's quite narrow and there's no waste disposal to drive over - but you're right next to a small marina, there's a pizza maker who knows his stuff (they also have delicious ice cream), you have every opportunity to explore Berlin, it's total quiet in the evening, there are tables and chairs for all camper guests right on the water, you can get the pizza from next door on the plate - it's just fun to be here. We spontaneously extended before the first night. There is a toilet m/w and a double shower for couples (or strangers who don't have a problem with it) 1€/5min per shower. There is also a rental sauna, cassette emptying and fresh water are included. Gray water only via mobile containers. Electricity? Is there an extra charge for each seat, I didn't ask (I'm currently testing my solar system). Conclusion: Absolute recommendation, you should respect the rules of the operator, he also has a few other little things on his mind. Reservation possible from 5 days, otherwise call from 10 a.m. and not before! Standing tight is required (still 1.5 meters clearance), if you can't do without an awning: look for someone else.

Jeanet: Very small spots. The campers are a maximum of 1.5 meters apart. But you do have a beautiful terrace on the water or behind your camper with table and chairs. Sanitary not really clean, and showers (2) weirdly arranged in sauna part 1 room with 2 showers. The sauna room can be locked, but if someone uses the sauna, it is not possible to shower. Owner pays little attention to camper spots and terrain. He sells fences and all possible places are full of samples of fences. Garden / house reception look unkempt. But it is a wonderful place to stand for a few days. Beautiful view of the harbor and the river from the terrace. Nice ride to Berlin by bike and public transport within walking distance of the motorhome. Good pizza joint on the harbour. For the money, the camper spots and sanitary facilities should be better taken care of

Federico Di Pane: A decidedly negative experience. They have a very small camper parking area, close to the lake, if there are 7 campers that's too much. In my case, they moved me to a parking lot at the beginning of the road, with tall grass, only with electricity. The water unloading and loading service is practically non-existent, they have a hole in which you cannot unload except with an external tank, ah I forgot that in front of this "unloading" there is a camper place that is always occupied, so in fact there is no the possibility of getting there with your own vehicle. I paid in the parking lot across the street as if I had been in front of the lake, a good 40 euros per night in order not to have no filling water or draining the gray. The bathrooms are obviously subject to an extra charge, and consist of a shared shower for 2, where you risk having it together with other people. Strongly not recommended, plus the managers do not even speak a word of English, in 2022 in a European capital, shameful.

Alba Dedola: Camper area that would have potential if exploited better (like really offering the services they say they have) and prices appropriate to what they can offer. The pitches are also nice, each has its own pretty terrace, with table, chairs and fountain with drinking water; pity that the spaces are quite right and that when they run out of seats facing the lake, they propose, for 40 € (!!!) a parking without even electricity, on gravel in the road towards the entrance, right in front of the tram routes. It would be worth it if they asked 10 €.
Response: Dear guest, you have probably also noticed that you have stayed in one of the most expensive residential areas in Berlin. And you probably also know that a parking space in Berlin costs €3 per hour...without overnight stays and without electricity, of course. And that a parking space in Italy now costs €80 per night. But you don't have to worry, a planning application for a city villa is currently in progress for our alternative parking space... as with so many parking spaces in Berlin. Then they no longer have a problem with the “high” fee 😉. As long as our guests motivate us to continue as before, the marina will remain public for a while. We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that due to the increased energy and wage costs, our parking space will remain closed for the first time from November to March. We don't want to scare our guests with the prices, which will surely increase again. By April next year we'll probably all be used to it. Best regards Your hosts ... and stay healthy everyone!
