Yarok - Syrisches Restaurant: what do users think?

Justin Shircliff: A friend recommended this place to me and it didn’t disappoint. Decent menu with nice prices, I opted for the chicken shawarma plate and it was delicious. The hummus, potatoes, vegetables, and bread worked in perfect harmony. The service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area or check out their other location.

Fraser Boyd: Great little place. Just ask for the mixed plate and you’ll get all sorts of wonderful fresh Middle Eastern savoury treats for ten euros. Lovely mint and cardamom tea too.

M7md: Amazing food tasty and extra fresh, employees are very friendly and we got our food in no time. Best Syrian restaurant in Berlin. Amazing desert for when you finish your food. Meat is juicy. Chicken is juicy. Has fancy fuze tea, very shocking. Good restaurant would go again in my next trip and recommended 100/10. -محمد من الكويت

Mihal Rahman: Pretty decent Syrian Restaurant in the heart of the city. They made us feel extremely welcome even though they were breaking their fast (during Ramadan). They offered us dates and were always available despite our reluctance to disturb them. The food was worth it and the portions just right - enough that you get filled and not so much that you have to leave half the plate. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the taste of the food in general was definitely up there.

Sarah Mak: I had the beef shawarma and the ayran. The beef shawarma (6/10) was really filling and flavourful. I liked the grilled carrots in it. This is my first time trying ayran (3/10), and I’m not personally a fan of it due to the saltiness, though it was interesting. I’m not sure how to rate it as I’m not familiar with Syrian cuisine at all, but I appreciate having tried it.

Moustapha Mahmoud: Great service, friendly owner. We had the mezze plate for 2. Good plates: falafel, kafta, hummus, babaghannouj, potatoes. Bread was also good. Average plates: sambousek (texture), shawarma (served in a cold fashion way, not well seasoned, no taste), tabouleh and foul. Plates that have nothing to do here: although tasty, but couscous was not expected in a Syrian restaurant.

Mayur Bhakta: Delicious falafel plate. Friendly staff. Location is central to tourist attractions. Falafel were well made. Soft and east. Hummus was delicious.

Dávid Kockás: Perfect flavours and food, we really liked it, though the portions are really small (the dish on the picture is for 2 people) so it is advised to also order some dessert or soup.

Mo Moghaddas: The food quality is pretty good. Friendly staff too.Be aware that it gets really busy at lunch time, so you might get in a queue to order, and then wait a longer time for the food.Card payments accepted.

CousCous Café & Bistro: what do users think?

Sasha: I had the falafel and avocado burrito - amazing food and really good value for money!

Roberto Arsiè: My favourite place in the area for a quick and tasty lunch! The halloumi - avocado sandwich is amazing and I must have eaten 1000 of them without getting tired :)

Filip Machat: Nice bistro with a lot of options for vegetarian, vegan, and some gluten free options. Very reasonably priced and delicious. Had the falafel and sweet potato burrito, really liked it.

Borja Latorre: Great tasty and healthy food with plenty of vegan options. We had the pumpkin-avocado-grilled veggies burrito and the falafel sweet potato plate and it was delicious and the portion very filling. Maybe a bit expensive but the quality is worth it

Will Fischer: Delicious food, but the service went above and beyond. When my girlfriend had a coughing fit, he was out with a friendly glass of water in no time. Really a kind, gracious gesture that meant a lot to us!

Alex C: Great place to get lunch. Not vegetarian (as google says) but plenty of vegetarian options.

Łukasz Pudło: Delicious, fresh food, I advise you to visit for vegetarians and gluten-free people Vegetarian options: Delicious Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free

W The Imbiss: what do users think?

RO DC: Good simple food in Pberg. You must order at the counter. Unfortunately, they only accept cash.

Cutia Pandorei: Very good and tasty food, need to come here everytime we visit Berlin. I could eat here every day and not get bored

Abel Agullo: Really good Indian-Mexican fusion kitchen. Some friend recommended me the place. I came with 0 expectations and the place blew my mind. They serve Indian food with a Mexican twist. They have tacos, pizza style pitas, dip plates, tasty salads and more. Since we were a group of 7 people we decided to take 4 plates from the menu and share everything: best decision ever. The first 2 plates on the menu are a must. Those are the ones with the small dips. Then the salmon tacos are amazing as well. The pita bread picas are not of my taste, but they can work as a starter. The service was quite fast even though the place was packed. We paid 14€ each including the drinks. Really worth it counting that the place is in Mitte (usually more expensive since is the center of the city).

Tunbola Ogunwande: They sell vegan food here. I had the burrito stuffed with rice, beans and veggies and it was super nice. Will visit again.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Hanna Ollos: A tiny hawaian fusion café with a super nice staff! The place is warm and welcoming, and you can actually see how they prepare their home made naan in a traditional oven. We tried the tasting menu for two, which included more than enough food, we could barely finish. The naans are tasty and high quality, however, most of the toppings lacked a bit of flavour to my taste. I would eat the naan pizzas again for sure but would avoid the currys and so.

Veronica V: This place is cute and tiny. Be prepared to wait a bit for a table and be seated very close to others. The food was tasty but I wished it was served warmer. The naan is made freshly in the tandoori oven right in front of you. The service is relatively fast. Overall nice experience.

Curry 61: what do users think?

Eanji (eanji): You can never go wrong with currywurst, it’s the perfect to-go food when strolling around Berlin and here is the place to get it. The fries were cooked to perfection, nice and crispy. The sausage was great, I wished it had more of a crunch/less soggy but nonetheless it was still very good. Curry ketchup was flavourful with a slight kick but not too overpowering which paired well with the sausage. Overall a very pleasant experience, will definitely recommend coming here for a light snack or meal!

Panos Tzikoudes: The traditional Berlin street food experience, the portion and the ratio of the potatoes with the sausage and the sauce was spot on. Its an ideal meal after you grab your beers, and its a nice way to experience Berlin eating while walking on the streets. Recommended, and a nice place to eat.

Viktoriia Bochkova: Don’t be afraid of the long queue. They work very fast. It took us literally 5 minutes to order, there were more than 10 people ahead us. The curry wurst here is like a curry wurst everywhere, but the vibe and workers make all the difference.

Denis: I don’t usually enjoy eating würstel, but I have to admit this place really exceeded my expectations! We took a currywurst but with a bratwurst as meat and we liked it very much! Pleasant ketchup and seasoning. Also the fries were really well made, crunchy yet still soft in the middle, the frying was also light and the mayonnaise was of quality as well! Very nice service and english speaking staff.

Iulia I: For sure one of the best places where you can find the traditional wurst, but also other sides as potato salad, fries and more wursts. They also have some places to sit inside, but it s always full. Also they have the spiciest sauce I ever had. Good prices and good food.

Kelly Bang: The curry sauce was yummy and the girl that served us multiple times was so sweet and funny! Would recommend for a quick bite. I recommend just getting mayo with the fries and using the curry sauce as ketchup.

Joanna Witecka: Go-to place for vegan currywurst. If you order extra sauce they put so much on its practically a soup, which I personally love. Fries are very tasty as well! Such a shame they don’t take card

Burgermeister Schlesisches Tor: what do users think?

Justin Shircliff: Didn’t think I’d eat a cheeseburger in Germany, but this place came up in my “best places for lunch” search so o decided to check it out. Truly an excellent burger. The bread is soft, the patty cooked perfectly, and the toppings work in tandem to produce a great product. The fries are top notch as well. This is a free standing building, with no inside seating and a handful of outside tables.

Grzegorz: One of the best (if not THE BEST) burgers I’ve ever eaten. Everything is fresh. Bun and meat is really delicious. I loved fries too. I hope to check other locations in the future too. Prices are fair and the staff is very friendly. Great place to experience Berlin.

RTK: OMG! This could be best burger I had in the last couple years. Certainly unique bun with crispy bacon and intense beefy meat. Every element was in a very well balance, like having an symphonic orgasm in your mouth.

Diana A: Do bot miss this one, if you like a nice simple delicious burger! I thoroughly enjoyed it: nice bun, burger not too saucy, good ingredients, well complimented by the fries! Give it a go!

Linh Phan: Great for take-away. The service is pretty fast. I had Chilly fries and a Burger. The portion is not too big and can be finished very quickly. The cheese sauce is superb!

Vanes Kiessling: Definitely better than five guys, Burger King, KFC or McDonald’s. Very juicy meat paste + tasty sauce. Their French fries are quite much over fried, onion bacon sauce could melt hearts 👌

Gregory Williamson: Brilliant location, exquisite cheeseburger. Burger is smashed on the griddle which gives great depth of flavor and crunch with high quality ingredients all around. Have a tasty little beer while you wait and join a communal table to relish in the ritual. While it’s operating out of an old Bahn bathroom, there doesn’t appear to be a toilet on premise!

Falco X: Great spot for fancy a juicy burger. Queue not long at all, service fast e and you can enjoy the burger and the fries on the table near the kitchen. Go for the classic and enjoy yourself, a couple of tables are there too.

Gicu Hincu: Highest ranking burger joint in Berlin and my #1 out of all I have tried in different places, in different countries. A friend of mine told me that eating a burger here is a must while in Berlin and I could perfectly understand why. The fried potatoes are also exceptionally delicious. All in one, this place is out of this world

Dolores Mitte: what do users think?

Ulvie Putri: Great place if u want to grab or get something quick not faraway from Alexanderplatz (although at some point of time u still need to queue). Prices are super fair, ingredients are fresh, friendly staffs. I liked the way they make their own Nachos chips (9/10), Spicy Chicken Bowl (7,5/10) the chicken tasted more like Indian dish to me, Wicked Beef (8/10) beef roasted well, smells really yummy, combination of sauces they gave just made it better taste, Vegan Friend and Vegan Friend (7,5/10) fresh veggies but the Guacamole taste just like an avocado they supposed to be bit sour and salty too but they just taste exactly like avocado. Overall still good.

Ugam Kumar: Best burrito I have had in Berlin. This is my favorite place for Mexican food. It is generally crowded in peak hours so you may have to wait in the queue for a few minutes but it is worth the wait. There is also a spacious outdoor seating area. My favorites at this place are easy chicken and spicy chicken burritos.

Nader Aldawahreh: Great place, awesome and friendly staff and delicious food. However although I really enjoyed the burrito, I had a tiny feedback. The ingredients within the sandwich weren’t mixed as it should be, the sandwich is big and the sour cream was on one side and the beef on the other, which kind of take away the Burrito experience. Still great food and I will definitely visit again on my next visit to Berlin.

Jen I: Great little Mexican food place. Was craving authentic Mexican food and this place had it! The staff was friendly, the bathrooms super clean, and the wait worth it! Get there before the lunch rush. Lime chicken bowl was great!

Viktor D.: Ordering went super fast and the staff was super friendly and helped me pick toppings for my tacos 🌮. From the taste I wasn’t that strongly impressed. I think that just the combination of the beans, the meat and the toppings wasn’t exactly mine. I’m definitely gonna give it another chance.

sjc: I am a big Mexican food fan.. and have had Mexican food in multiple countries, cities. The first sign that this was a terrible place was the oily strange looking tortilla chips. The cheese in quesadilla smelled weird, the mint iced tea tasted like ginger mud water. It was my first meal in Berlin and i was so disappointed!

Saurabh Sarin: Our experience at Dolores was quite bad. Considering the good reviews for this place we decided to give it a try. We ordered a vegan lover burrito and their naughty pork burrito - both of which were supposed to be spicy. The vegan one tasted okay but the pork one was horrible. There was no flavour, there was no texture and it was all soggy. Mexican food is supposed to be flavorful and not bland. Would never go here again.

Masha Balganova: Really good burritos, just last time my burrito was half cold. But still super tasty!

Scheers Schnitzel: what do users think?

Cindy Tien: Being in Germany, I must squeeze in a schnitzel meal! After finishing up the East Side Gallery, Scheers is located nearby at the corner. There was a line of ~6 people ahead of me and 2 working. A little slow ordering, but meal came out fast. Very good for the cost and amount, I was full and just right for a quick meal. Would recommend if you need a quick bite!

Saqer Alammar: I really enjoyed their veal schnitzel. It came with a side of fries and salad. Although I did feel that the portion was a bit small, and that ordering the “double” would’ve been best to put my hunger to bed. Just so you know, this is considered as a “fast food” type of schnitzel, none of the fancy stuff.

Lorena Martinez: The dishes are really nice, good portions and well prepared 😋. The prices are very good according to what you get.The place is comfortable, nice environment 👌 and music. Service is quite normal, could improve I think.Food: 5/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Karolina Bondaryk: The schnitzel was fine and the fries also, so the food is on big plus, but there was no possibility to pay by card. I also understand the concept of self-service, but somebody could clean the table from time to time :/

Viktor Miljesic: This place is decent if you are looking for a schnitzel. Its not the best one I have had but thats ok. I personally would not recommend the chili con carne one. The fries were actually really good and delicious. They reminded me of steak fries back in the US. The berliner pilsner beer was excellent and I highly recommend trying it! Not a bad place for the money.

sunny summer: Best schnitzel in Berlin !Tender veal is like my grandma milanesas !!!Is not a fancy restaurant but you just to go and try the food !

andrei burlibasa: Very good prices, 6.5 euro for normal Snitzel with potato salad and 8.5 for one with chilli con carne, fries ans coleslaw salad, fresh and tasty food!

Lilla Fábián: The food was cheap and we could choose from a huge variety of sauces for free. We had a tasty and filling lunch here.

Rüyam Gemüse Kebab: what do users think?

Canny Chiang: Best kebab ever that I had! I was not and am still not a fan of kebab but I absolutely love Rüyam kebab. They have good service. If you go with a baby stroller, they will come to the window and ask for the order so that you don’t need to carry the stroller inside the shop. They are very friendly and would chitchat with your kids. The kebab is well balanced with vegetables and the sauce as well as the bread. Most kebab that I had were way more salty and somehow I got bored when I ate half of it ( don’t know why). But not this one! I could definitely finish one and feel very satisfied with it. The meat is not too salty for sure and the fresh lemon juice makes the kebab fresh! I would visit again, again and again. It changes the impressions that I had to kebab!

Katherine Miller-Purrenhage: Excellent food and atmosphere! The staff are so friendly & funny, and they make the vibes just so much better. I got the veggie sandwich and it’s one of the best things I’ve eaten in Germany (I’ve lived here 1.5 years). The flavor combination is really well thought-out and not as common as other places I’ve tried. I will say you should try to get here at an unconventional time because I waited 30 minutes in line just to order and then another 10-12 for food. Was totally worth it, though!

Marian Knysza: I’d like to taste more and different types of sandwich, but unfortunately I was there after pretty heavy party, so we split the bun in half. Every veggie was delicious, falafel and bun… another level. Free strong blackest tea… real Berlin

Christopher W.: Best Kebab in Berlin! Fresh, great taste, nice sauces. I prefer the place at Schönhauser Allee which has a nicer seating inside but the Kebab is the same, good.

Okan Caliskan: Delicious food, with a mint touch on the Krauter Sauce its really awesome. And the acidity comes from the lemon. Having said that I waited 1h on a Sunday afternoon, so be prepared for a queue.

Liz Wilson: My German friend took me here on my first day in Berlin in 2017. He said “do not listen to anyone else, THIS, is the best kebab in Berlin”. And he was 100% right. To the point that I regret every occasion that i ordered one elsewhere in Berlin to compare or simply because I was not in Schöneberg. Everyone I’ve taken there since has also been converted and that’s probably 20 people at least. It never disappoints! I recommend the 1st option with everything (mit allem). Be sure to tip, they like that ;)

Konnopke's Imbiss: what do users think?

Conor: Must visit from every review / guide to Berlin I noted. Whilst I agree with many comments that it was indistinguishable from many other similar offers it had a great charm to the place and I found it to be clean and a unique spot to sample a Berlin staple.

Dom: Definitely a historic place with authentic food and real berlin-style sausages (Currywurst, Bratwurst, etc.). Enough space to sit outside. However, some interior place is available as well. The atmosphere is central, right at U-Station Eberswalderstr., located under the team track. Very special and innovative spot. It feels like Berlin 20+ years ago. Food is fresh and delicious. Prices are fair and service is quick. Staff was mostly friendly. The variety of dishes and drinks is alright, with focus on specific dishes they are good in. Definitely worth trying and visiting, in adventerous Prenzlauer Berg.

Mikus101: Nice place! Quick services. Good quality currywurst 👌 Might be little expnsive in comparison to other places

Madhusudhan Reddy V J: One of the best CurryWurst places in Berlin.. it does get crowded so plan a wait of 15min before you get to order. It’s worth the wait and at an amazing price.

Damián García García: Historical snack bar which offers different varieties of sausages and French fries, being the most famous option the Currywurst. It is as good a the snack itself can give, nothing special but worth to try at least once if you pass by. They have some standing desks outside and also some covered ones with benches for the colder days.

Míra Ha: Did not expect anything special, but man, was I mistaken. The sauce was really awesome, goes amazingly with the no caseing sausage. Love the crispy fries, nothing is worse than wobbly fries.

Curry 36: what do users think?

Wallace Layne III: Got into Berlin late, nothing was open except Curry 36. It was amazing. The fried were crispy and well seasoned on the outside, hot and moist on the inside. The staff was friendly, helpfully, and knowledgeable. The cost was unbelievable. Try some excellent food when you visit Berlin, tell them I sent you.

Maksim Tonyushkin: Best value! The fries were just as good as any in Belgium and the wurst was delicious. For a price of 4€ very generous and got to try two different types. Service is quick! Be aware and have cash on hand.

taha: My first meal after landing in Berlin and it did not disappoint. The prices are very affordable although higher than other wurst spots. I got the Currywurst with fries, ketchup and mayonnaise. The wurst was covered in flavorful curry powder. The mayo was amazing and extremely rich. All in €8.50 and they take card which is rare in Berlin.

Timothy En Haw Chan: One of the best-known and most iconic currywurst place in Berlin. It is a place where you can get a cheap fast food, there is not a long queue and always some standing place if you want to have a quick meal beside the pavement.

Jawad Almasarweh: Taste great , wide selection, portions are not the best but okay. Stays open for late times in the night which is great. Avoid the ketchupRecommended

Aston Nirvana: Many reviews stated that this is a must try place for Germany sausage. I tried the vegan hotdog but not surprised me. I guess those reviews on google were mentioned about the non vegan sausage.

David Berg: I ordered the Bratwurst with fries. The service was friendly but the taste was horrible. It was like eating a piece of bread dipped in cheap tasteless ketchup source . The fries were OK. Visiting Germany and taste such a tasteless sausage? What a disappointment. Maybe I accidentally ordered a wrong dish?

Mabuhay: what do users think?

Ruxandra Grecu: Delicious food at really great prices. My first foray into Indonesian food and it was quite a success. For sure I will be back. Service was great, flavors were all there and the area was quiet and nice. Lovely experience

yw17: Very decent and authentic Indonesian food. I‘be never been to Indonesia before but after trying that Bali source, I feel I’m at the beach in Bali~Redang (beef curry) is sick and just on the spot! Sometimes it’s very crowded but still worthy to give it a try and maybe you are lucky to get a table just like us!

Erika Tanjung: I went there for lunch and there were always queues when i got there. Once i got seated, it took a while until the waiter to take my order and had to wait another while for the food to come. I guess the price made up for the time you have to spend there. As an Indonesian, i have to say that the food was not spiced enough but i guess they adjusted it so much for the german tongues. Im not sure if they changed the cook or something because last year the taste was better.

H Kim: Tried many Indonesian food. I can confidently say this is the best ever!! I never imagined falling in love with this tiny but awesome restaurant in Berlin. The chefs must be genius 👍🏻

Ilham Akbar: All the food was surprisingly bland. Not sure why this place got good reviews. Yes it’s cheaper than typical restaurant but seriously I’d rather pay more for a delicious meal rather than pay less but lesser quality. I ordered: - Nasi Goreng Chicken - totally bland. Portion wise was large but who wants to eat plenty yet bland food? - Udang Sambal with Rice - This is like the saddest sambal I’ve ever tasted. I dont even know why they called it sambal/chilli. You can find even better bottled sambal than this one. Sorry, but please please improve the taste cause there were none at all. So disappointed.

Ahmad Khalid Nasrat: It has very cheap and affordable dishes and delicious ones as well. During lunch time, they get overwhelmed and don’t have enough staff and proper management to answer orders thus making you wait for long time.

white lotus: best Indonesian restaurant in Berlin 👍the space of the restaurant is however quite small, so make sure you make a reservation beforehand or come before its opening hours because it gets packed quite fast.

Marlene Kragelund-Leer: Brilliant place. The actual restaurant was very small and unfortunately full, when we arrived. BUT then the waiter showed us a funny little annexe a few steps away. Even though the walls were tent-like, it was warm and very very cosy. Almost like being in Indonesia. The food was delicious, the staff attentive and the extra chilli sauce was good and hot as it has to be. My warmest recommendations.

Cô Cô bánh mì deli: what do users think?

Thị Quỳnh Như Vũ: NOT recommend at all, if you only want to have “bánh mì”, it’s just okay. However, pho and the noodles salad are not good or even closed to authentic version, especially Pho is extremely bad! It’s clearly not pho, they even use pork instead of beef( Vietnamese food doesn’t have “pork” pho) please don’t get here to eat pho and think that is Vietnamese food.

Lennart Roos: Absolutely astonishing taste at super low price. Staff are friendly and interior is chill. Love the chicken banh mi and can’t wait to try the other ones. The homemade ice tea is spot on as well!

kathrin de silva: I love Vietnamese food and I Would run into any Vietnamese food shop immediately. This one is great to get a quick healthy snack. A soup or sandwich. 🥪 tasty and friendly, clean place.

Thao Nguyen Ngo: Only recommend banh mi here. Do not recommend other food.Food: 2/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

ez A (R.S): Best Banh Mi ever <3

Katha Reger: Very very good Banh Mi! The best I ever tasted in Germany! Very big sandwich for a cheap price with super fresh ingredients and freshly baked, perfect-texture bread! Meat and tofu very good seasoned!!

Kirsi Maharaj: I love this place. The banh mi is so fresh and delicious. They also have very lovely tea. One of my favourite spots!!!

Nicolas Avila Rodriguez: We had a really bad experience in this pho I was really disappointed about the soup it was just water and salt plain … plain pasta taste .. a little bit of onion… instant soup… not good at all. We didn’t want to have a change.. we asked for our money back and they refused. Don’t recommend at all.

Lon Men's Noodle House: what do users think?

Chia-chen Lehahn: I only ordered a few starters since it was quite late for a proper meal. All the dishes are delicious but the portions are a bit small. The staff was very nice even though the queue was quite long. They don’t take reservations and accept only cash.

Ji Hoon Lim: I think it matches up to the reputations, but it could use some expansion. I had rice noodles with beef. It was really good, one of the best in Berlin. Worth a revisit? Yes, but it will be hard since it doesn’t take reservations and lots of people are lined up outside the restaurant.

María M: I was a bit disappointed at the quantities, dishes were not so big for the price. I found the noodles dish better as the noodle soup, way more tastier. Still would recommend the place, the service is really friendly and food tastes good

Jung Woo Yae: A nice and very busy Taiwanese restaurant. It is always crowded so be prepared to queue. It says “Only cash” as some kind of typical Asian restaurant features and I think they should stop. Food-wise all are ok, I recommend the number 40 as an appetiser. But the dumplings in sour spicy soup were ok, I do not think I would order again but the normal fried dumplings looked so much better. Overall I recommend this restaurant.

trang: Overall a nice experience! Noodles and Broth are absolutely delicious. They don‘t accept reservations though, so you always have to wait for a while. Small place with nice people and good food! Worth the wait.

Angelica angi: Definitely recommended! Worth the 30 minutes waiting outside freezing 😅 the fried dumplings are must! We also ordered chicken noodles soup and beef noodles. Was great! Great service! Although the place is really small. I’ll be back ✌🏻

Samantha Sasi: I wish I could have this every day! So yummy! Very quick & friendly service too. They had a high chair for my 2.5yr old son too. Definitely coming back here more often. 👍😊

Katharina S.: Amazing wontons! First time I went here I had a noodle soup which was mediocre and didn’t blow my mind. Second time around, I followed my friends recommendation and it was absolutely delicious. You need to know what to order. So if you try anything then I can really recommend you to take: Wantan in Chilliöl, Gebratene taiwanische Maultaschen und Gua Bao mit Ente. Just so good!! Interior is very plain. You can only pay cash. There is seating outside which is covered in sun.

Live2nJOY: Satisfied our craving for Taiwanese food. The beef noodle was excellence. @live2njoy

Lidia J.: Went there yesterday with my picky eater foreign mother . She loved it! It was so flavorful and authentic and just a vibe .The steamed dumplings were great too :) Staff were extremely friendly and nice 5/5

Salamat: what do users think?

Nazrin Guliyeva: We came here based on reviews, but to be honest, I got a bit disappointed. Drinks were expensive compared to Berlin average. Food prices were fine and portion was big, however, it tasted a bit oily to me. Though, it was tasting like home food :) Also after leaving the restaurant, noticed that we all are smelling really heavy oil :/ Two boys who works there as a part time were super friendly and nice. Service was great, but for food, not sure, if we come here again.

Andrea Fiori: Great experience of Iraq cuisine. Plenty of vegan choices with Greta flavor. Bamya is a super nice veggie discovery. Fast and kind service also!

Crash Over: Tiny but very cozy and nice place. Since its tiny I recommend you to make reservation before.I ordered the spinach dish, that was really tasty! Also, the pita bread is amazing! The price is not expensive, and fair for the high food quality.

Elsa: The best best best hummus and shawarma we ever had. The flavour is so deep, it’s really some spices magic!!! The potatoes literally tasted like fresh potato chips despite being regular pieces of potato. Addicting! However, the couscous is good but not the best ever though. I found it to be a bit watery.

saumya premchander: We ate the beef shawarma platter and a chicken, chickpea, plum, spinach stew with rice. Everything was wonderful- the service was really good, the prices were reasonable, the food was amazing, and I really look forward to going back.

Lara Gonzalez: Very good food and superb workers. The place is not your typical “Imbiss” and I can say that the Falafel are the best I’ve tried in all of Berlin. For a main course I usually have Kusa or the Darband Platte (but all of them are extremely good). 10/10

Zoe Voice: The most delicious vegetarian food in a cosy intimate restaurant. Had the plum curry with some falafel on the side and the flavours were incredible, so fresh and aromatic and the portion was generous. And so affordable too! Will definitely go back when I’m next in Berlin.

Eylül Akar: Very good service, delicious food. Would be great if they accepted other cards then EC. They only accept cash and EC card.

Enzi Zew: Prices are great. At Alex there is only overpriced, that going there is quickly prepared and tasty. A nice snack.

Alex Schulz: This phenomenal snack bar offers delicious mixed vegetables with its schnitzel! The fries were perfect and the schnitzel was super tasty too! In addition, the prices are shockingly cheap! Visiting this somewhat hidden snack bar is definitely worth it!
