Dä Bööni: The course is hard. It makes you study. It is short on time and you will have a lot to improve. Its about yourself to use your time efficiently and study the drinks. But if you have the right mindset, you will get a kickstart into the art of bartending. 4 weeks to wrap up and get on track. But as you find yourself reaching your goals, while having fun on the other hand... its gonna be an unforgettable experience.
Andrés Herrera: Excellent life changing experience, you won't be the same once you finish the course. Special thanks to our instructor Kaki, amazing teacher!!!!

Sholto Nixon: Had a brilliant time at EBS. Was a very intense course with a lot of time and emphasis placed on revising and putting hours into the course, was occasionally quite stressful but completely worth the effort. You are trained to know the cocktails intuitively and build them quickly with efficiency, the instructors love the drinks and love what they do and really infuse you with that passion. The course also attracts a varied group of fun hard working people, some of whom I’ll miss and some of whom I will definitely be seeing again as a part of my new bartending family!

Duy Thanh Doan: Rude and savage 🤨 The class was started at 9:00 until 15:00 and of course, now they changed to 16:00. I thought the class always dismiss at 15:00 so i can go to work at 16:00. But sometime the class finished late, it’s ok, i understand that. So i had to ask to go first. But the instructor was so rude, I told her i have to go to work and she said if i go, i failed the exam and then she lost the control and being cruel 🤔. If she need a note or whatever she wants, i can give it to her so i can do the exam on another day, but after the instructor so mean to me, i don’t think i want to come back again. Although, I had a lot of experience, not everything are bad. 2⭐️/5 ‘s still to much for them, but i want to give them my generously ✌️. Thanks EBS anyway!
Response: Duan, First off all, we regret having to see you leave the course, a circumstance that nobody wants or needs. Furthermore, it’s a shame that you didn’t consider approaching any of us directly, knowing that you can always talk to us at school or call us after. That being said, let us set things straight here: On the mentioned day we pointed out that the classes will be extended in order to give everyone the same preconditions. It would give every student plenty of time to warm up and take the examinations. In addition, we gave every student the option to choose any time slot throughout the day. You yourself decided to sign-up for the very last slot on that day and whilst all your class mates started preparing and warming up, you found it more important to spend that time with your mobile phone. As if that unprofessional demeanour wasn’t enough, when the exam was supposed to begin, you informed us about you having to leave. We believe the confusion and discontent of the instructor is more than understandable. You knew you would have to leave for work that afternoon, so why didn’t you chose an earlier time-slot to take the exam? Moreover, we informed you that not attending the exam without any official attestation the examination will result in a fail and will be scored with 0%. And we informed all students that every exam can be repeated if you will bring us an approved note for the missing time/date. Nonetheless, we wish you, like any other of our students, all the best for your future development and career.

Andreas Evensen Goa: Not a fancy place, but we had a great time here a Saturday night. The entrence fee 10€ doesn't seem reasonable in the door, fyi.
Ashley Gumbs: This place reminds me of Circus in London. There was a lot of entertainment and things going on. When we went on a Sunday evening there was live singers and tribute acts, a circus act, a juggler and a Coyote Ugly act (girls on the bar dancing pouring shots into guests mouths). Needless to say well worth the entrance fee and the cockatails are absolutely insane

Patricia Visiedo: Awful. They charged us an extraordinary amount of money just for entering the pub without letting us know in advance. We realised that when we were leaving the place. We were to pay 10.80€. Such was our surprise when we ordered the bill and we were asked to pay 40.80€. One of the waitresses was really comprehensive and she offered us a 10€ discount. In any case our experience was simply awful. We stopped by just for having a drink and we ended up paying a lot of money for nothing. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Nick Alberts: Extremely poor staff. We were with around 50 people so they could have made a lot money out of us, but we weren't treaten with respect. They didn't want to change money (€50) on €20 orders and the waitresses were acting very cranky towards us. If you want to have a good time, don't go here! They will rather frustrate you than take good care of you!
Olivia Jastrzemski: The drinks here were delicious! The bar has a very laid back vibe, but you are able to get on the raised dance floor and dance and request songs from the DJ. There were some people there that had amazing dance moves! Some of the people at the bar though, were kind of sketchy. My friend and I did like the bar though, but would have preferred if the dance floor was not in the middle of the bar.
Yuba Koukou: I have been to many places around the world, and trust this is one of the WORST places o have ever been. First we got in and waited so long to be sitted. Second out waitress was so rude and not friendly at all, we asked her for water and she ignored us, the I asked the bartender and he ignored me, I even asked the manager and she told me sorry we don't have water, what kind of bar doesn't have water!!!. Here is the worst of all, when the server got us the bill she charged us 15 Euros of cover charge that nobody told us about. Berlin is a great city, there is so many other options, so please be smart and stay away from this place, I would of given them -stars but unfortunately I couldn't.
Lorenzo Becker: Some of us weren’t allowed in, and weren’t given a good explanation for it. Furthermore, after we had finished our drinks and waited for our karaoke-song, we were forced to buy more drinks, or else we would be kicked out (although it wasn’t crowded at all). We waited about 2 hours for our karaoke-song, and were skipped many times.

hossein aghai: We did the 3h cocktail course. The facilitators were continuously smoking in one corner of the closed room. None of the guests was smoking. I found this behavior highly inappropriate, given that they could have left the room for their smoking breaks.
Denise Dietzel: My girls booked this cocktail class for my hen party. It was so super cool and apart from helpful tips, you could learn a lot yourself. There was a good deal on non-alcoholic cocktails too and the bartender Kim did a great job. Funny, patient and charming, he walked us through a super cool experience of a lifetime and I would keep coming back. You should be a drinker and really plan enough time.
André S.: We were here for the gin tasting and absolutely loved it, a clear recommendation. The location itself is very appealing. We were welcomed very friendly. The whole evening was well planned and very well organized. All information about gin was conveyed in an entertaining and humorous way. In addition to the gin tasting, there was also insider information about the bar and a crash course in mixing cocktails. All in all a boozy evening that was worth every penny. Thanks very much!

Unfortunately, we were sitting at the table as strangers, so we couldn't try all the mixed cocktails, since only one glass of each cocktail was prepared per table group. Unfortunately, we started with a not so good feeling at the beginning, because the person in charge made a stupid comment about my pimples on my forehead. That went a little below the belt.

We went as three friends with three very different tastes, and Stuart recommended the perfect repertoire for each of us. His passion and enthusiasm for cocktails was contagious, and each of us were delighted with our selections. You can find some very complex yet delicious drinks at Limonadier, where each ingredient is added with very clear intent. They can also make pretty much anything you request. Happy hour from 19:00-20:00!

Philipp Koch: Amazing cocktail bar with super creative and expertly crafted cocktails. You will absolutely find something fun you'll like from the beautifully designed menu. Staff is friendly, attentive and happy to customize cocktails according to your taste. Make sure you stop by for their happy hour from 7-8pm where all their classic cocktails are on offer. Prices are reasonable for the excellent concoctions you'll receive. Can't wait to go back and keep trying the rest of the menu.

Marshall Yount: Cocktails were artfully done. Delightfully complex flavor profiles. A little pricey, but worth it. Service was top notch: The staff cheerfully conversed with us in novice German (slowly) and then tastefully switched over to very clear direct English when I was about to make a mistake when trying to find the restroom. They recognized that my table wanted to practice German and the table next to us wanted to just speak English.

Adrian Popescu: I love this place. Staff is very friendly, patient and speaks English as well. The drinks are a tad bit pricey, but very tasty. I had two different cocktails based on rum and both were very aromatic and spacy. The place itself also looks nice, you can have a chat without being constantly disturbed by loud music. Of course, you can pay by card and everyone can by his own drinks without any hassle.

Afshin Loni: The cocktails were pretty delicious. I have ordered 3 cocktails during the Happy Hour which is between 18 to 20. The whiskey sour in particular was great and totally recommended. I also loved the experimental cognac drink which was mixed with fig syrup. The staff were super friendly and they helped us alot finding the best drink. Will definitely come back. Make sure to reserve.

Adam Bílek: Tables are too close to each other so you can't even walk between them. Sometimes you have to wait about 15 minutes for waiter to pay. Prices are pretty high, around 13 euro per drink. Drink is alright, but nothing extra special.

Piero D'Onofrio: The best cocktail bar in the area, thanks to the skill of the bartender. I am passionate about margaritas and here they are excellent, but the other cocktails (large choice) are also very well done. Highly recommendable.
Xie Long: This bar strikes the sweet spot between fancy cocktail bar and inviting place to casually hang out. Big plus are the multiple big tables and seating areas (for a higher class cocktail bar) while the prices are more than fair. Personally I love the creativity that went into their menu, from horoscope drinks to creating a random drink by rolling the dice. Been here with colleagues on various occasions and will surely be back again.
Teresa Maria: The moment that the bartender starts reading a recipe, you should know disappointment will come crashing down on you. The nice atmosphere and lights of this bar might trick you into thinking, that the quality of the served beverages might be better than tab water. The served cocktails tasted rather watery and the salty sticks were extremely dry. Keep in mind that prices in this bar aren't low. Serving took long time even though the bar wasn't packed. Sad

My Fiancé and i always have a great time here. Definitely a place we always come back to whenever we’re in Berlin. I’d say this is my favorite Bar in Berlin.

Jonas Muller: Elegant cocktail bar as you would expect in a 5 star hotel, nice service, great drinks and complimentary snacks. What I found very disappointing was the musical background. When the live act was not on, the background music was nonsensically loud and annoying and reminded me of Eurodance in a seedy provincial village disco (it doesn't help that in this case it was some hip electro swing - you just heard the boom & that was too loud & lacking in nuance). The live act was great but the poor performer played a horrendously out of tune piano. Low-brow village disco atmosphere and out of tune piano doesn't fit the standard of a 5 star place. I strongly recommend the people responsible to engage well-curated artists in this place in order to set overall cultural standards, and provide consistent high quality in all aspects of the experience; culinary, architectural, as well as musical and artistic. This could potentially attract tourists as well as locals who are looking for a more high quality cultural experience. Other than that we enjoyed our evening.

Michael Doherty: I'm a big craft cocktail drinker, so I had to make sure to check out the crazy cocktails here. Honestly, I thought the cocktails were just good, not great. The presentation however, was incredible! They have some very cool glasses and some very interesting flavor profiles; some good and some not as good. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great, which is strange for a bar in a Ritz. The bartender was awesome, but the server we had our second night wasn’t. Overall I had to give it 3* because the cocktails are pretty expensive and the service. Jamie Hannaford: Good drinks but weird vibe. The place looked and smelled like the inside of a taxi, and the staff were quite aloof and unfriendly at times. They even checked our banknote at the end of the evening as if we were giving them fake money. Nice cocktails but it just felt quite strange and pretentious.

Chris Quartly: Easily the best cocktails I had on a recent trip to Europe that took in multiple cities. The bartender was superb and a pleasure to talk to, I can't stress enough how much this should be a destination cocktail bar if you are in Berlin.
Léa “PerleAmbree” Perez: A very cozy and classy place. The staff is very nice and speaks English. The cocktails are originals and yummy. You have a lot of indications, such as " how strong it is" " if it's fruity or salty". The food is great! It's a bit pricey but the quality is there.
Graham Campbell: Great cute cocktail bar with a cool small food menu and quality cocktails. If you're there from 6-8, some cocktails come with canapes. Small loveseats and dim lighting. Very cool.

Mine Cetinkaya: In my opinion one of the best coctail bars in the city. Smoking section separated. You can see photos related to the Stagger Lee’s story on the walls of the smoking area. Has comfy leather coaches. Neat and clean. Great music taste, mostly in jazz, blues, and country genres
Jan Knaup: Very nice ambiance. I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the drinks doesn't lag behind. I especially loved the dark and stormy based on a sharp, homemade ginger beer. Service can get a little overwhelmed in the Friday night rush, but overall absolutely worth a visit.

Yuval Sarel: Best. Cocktail bar. Ever. We sat at the bar and got amazing, professional and kind service. The drinks were incredible - tasty, balanced, interesting and beautiful. Jeff explained everything to us and nailed the balance between hosting and giving us our place to have our conversation. The space is also super cozy and intimate. This is how a cocktail bar should look like.
Alexey Chernikov: Great speakeasy. Very small yet cozy. Perfect for a date. Great drinks with a twist. Ventilation could be better though — it gets very hot in there.

IM Bash: This bar was a nice surprise. A bit tricky to find but once you're in you'll love it. Its the best bar I've been to in Berlin and I've been to quite a few. They sell great cocktails and their service is fantastic. I also really like the intimate atmosphere, and it is the ideal place for drinks with a small group of friends. Please bear in mind that its not very big so if you're in a big group (5 or more) you'll need to get there a bit earlier to get seating.

Alfredo Marcus: Small and cozy bar. Smoky dark music great bartender doing absolutely amazing job crafting the cocktails. Very pleasant see them prepare a Pisco sour where are they shake the entire royal egg in the shell then draw a hole small hole and take that away up leaving the Joakin side untouched I’ll be back we more friends have more cocktails and have more laughs it’s open till late so it’s perfect for the last call
Pavlina Jung: Such a nice bar under the S-bahn railway. Great coctails, possibility of a Champagne by glass and selection of wines, plus complimentary water. Amazing friendly staff is working here. When we are in Berlin, we always stop by to have a drink here.
Hubert PENET: We were here a little bit 'au hazard' Cocktail are originals and very good. Service is top. Cocktail are very well made in front of us by skilfull and pationate people Place is small but very nice. Totally worth the trip and the price.
Angeley Eckardt: Smooth interior. But. When serving it, the waiter spilled part of my girlfriend‘s drink into our shopping bag and then brushed it off like nothing happened. Plus: we (three people) originally only wanted to spend 30 minutes here, while waiting for the jazz bar next door to let us in. So only one of us ordered a drink. The first waiter accepted this. Then another waiter showed up, served the drink (and spilled it) and then said that there’s a one drink minimum per person. I would’ve understood if it had been at 01:00 and we had been 10 people, maybe drunk guys doing a bachelor’s party. But it was 20:30 and we were three people, one of them my 70 year old mum. Quite petty of them.
Christiane Benztown: Super friendly staff and very good drinks.. smoking bar but with good air exchange. Even as a non smoker you can spend s good time in this bar. Highly recommended.
Maria Mochalova: Great place. Don’t get scared - you have to ring a bell to get inside. The bar itself is very small and drinks are pretty expensive (around 10-14€ per 🍸), but all of them are definitely made by qualified barmen with love. Great for one-two drinks and unique vibe.

Petar Vassev: Dog unfriendly location!!! If you are up for a rude and annoyed personal, upper prices and one of the best cocktails in Berlin. That's your place. Suffer through the experience to enjoy an amazing cocktail.
Abed Hammoud: Used to come to this bar often and it used to be great. Now they're hiring hipster staff who pretend to be connoisseurs but have no idea about how to make any cocktails. I was trying to be honest and give feedback on spot that I didn't like my whisky sour but was met with rude replies from the waiter. It's a shame coz it used to be a nice bar. Never again!

Dagmara Kandora: Some weeks ago I wanted to book a table for me and some friends. The man to whom I talked to (not sure if employee or an owner) told me that bookings for groups bigger than 4 ppl are not accepted. All would have been fine if he wouldn't have added that they accept only smaller groups because those are actually making money. That they tested it and the better income was from smaller groups and not bigger ones... This guy was generally pretty unpleasant and had arrogant approach. If that's the owners business, I guess he can do whatever he wants but telling that to the potential customers is pretty rude. Please keep those reasons for yourselves. Will definitely never come back and spread the word.

Martin Rothenberger: Best place to enjoy a quality crafted cocktail in Wedding. Cozy atmosphere, great service and fabulous cocktails. For sure one of the best places for cocktails in Berlin. Hint: Go for a Whiskey Sour with egg white.
Katherine: We were 6 people and we had no idea they didn’t accept “groups” of 5+. We arrived at 11pm and they close at midnight. There was more than enough room for us. Not really sure I understand their concept, but the bartender that came outside wasn’t very friendly and didn’t explain anything to us. Not going back there even though I live around the corner and was happy to try a new bar.
