Homer Dong: Had a cooking workshop here and I loved the place since the first second entering the venue! A great option for team building and corporate event.
Alice Marshall: Super fun team event with a group of 20 of us. We started with an aperitif in the garden, and slowly made our way into the cookery school, where we talked, cooked and then ate together. Really good way to bond with your team, or enjoy a fun few hours with friends. Would recommend!

Jonas Gebhardt: This is a little cooking studio near Rosenthaler Platz offering cooking courses in German, English and French. We came here for a team event with 10 people and were warmly welcomed. Our French host explained her story about moving over from France to Berlin to promote the French kitchen and cooking here. Her main goal is to dispel prejudices about what French people eat and how they cook. We cooked a main course with sides. It was a great mix between us being involved and our host making sure we don't mess things up. She has loads of interesting stories to tell about the ingredients, history of the dishes and French eating culture. The recipe was excellent and special. Food tastes really good. The location is very lovely, warm and simply perfect to enjoy a great dinner together.

A K: They say if you get angry you should sleep on the anger one night... It's been more than one night! I'm still very angry! I have never been treated so rudely and inhospitable. Right from the start: First of all, we were left standing in front of the door like petitioners, the so-called sparkling wine at the reception (booked and paid for) was only brought after repeated requests. Drinks were very sparse only after repeated request. No fresh water... I don't even know how to describe the mood... While we were still eating, the kitchen in the guest room was cleaned with a chlorine-based cleaner. Last but not least, we were told that we only had 15 minutes and then had to leave the store - 98.- for a meal without drinks UNBELIEVABLE

Despite catchy preliminary agreements, making concessions and asking for a consensus, we were always treated very unfriendly, which got worse and worse over the course of the day. it culminated in a short-term cancellation, 7 days before the date of the event (company event), of the bindingly booked services. I have never experienced such an unprofessional manner and I am stunned. ***Supplement*** Unfortunately you stopped communicating with us, I think the evaluation is valuable. The briefing was clearly communicated and you had already promised us the date, within the parameters, so there is no room for interpretation, except that it was unprofessional. Too bad.

Jens was able to teach us a lot, as well as the delicious and beautifully prepared food. We had lots of fun. Many thanks for this experience and the nice evening!
Joanna Miao (Miamiu): my dive girl celebrated her 12th anniversary with her best friends at the organic cooking school. Wordless girly process it was already. According to the eye contact of the cooking program from Tisch-Dekor, namely lemon _yellow mixed with mom's favorite color light blue, until the introduction to chemistry, the children took a deep breath and slowly went into those roles. After all, the teacher did teach the art of making his pasta. A room for feminine is separate and it was really an unforgettable feeling when you sat on the chair of the hostess as a birthday girl and had to get up again to drink children's champagne together. several times commendable for all the preparations and hearty 5 stars!

Manuela Suckow: We had a great 🇮🇹 evening. We were a group of 8 people and the cooking course was actually full, but due to a mistake there was an "overbooking", which didn't detract from the whole thing. On the contrary, Katrin rescheduled a bit and instead of serving at the table, we made a great buffet. Super professional and tried out great recipes. We will be back, now it's time to cook for yourself. Cooking courses are just a lot of fun, you can try things out together and get new ideas. Stefan Radaković: The events here are worth your while. Upon arrival the owners created a comfortable atmosphere to cook together, create masterpiece recipes easily and then have a wonderful dining evening. The variety of recipes is plentiful and there is an enormous amount of drink choices. The owners have some good tips in handy and do their job with passion. 10/10 would recommend for family evenings, group activities and company events

Olesia Lisna: The course was great, Michael (the Chef and our instructor) was very friendly and efficiant, his assitants as well. In every dish that we cooked I found something new to learn.
Loay: I got a voucher for this course as a Christmas gift, and I was very excited to finally learn how to prepare sushi properly. My experience before the course wasn't very good, as the course has to be postponed 2 times for a weeks at a time. Eventhough my German is not perfect, I am sure I learned something after I finished the course. I learned to prepare Miso soup, Maki, nigiri, inside out and crunchy sushi rolls as well as sticky rice with banana and coconut caramel dessert. The kitchen was spacious and very clean so is the dining table. We were also able to have as many drinks during the course and ate all of the sushi we prepared which served as my dinner. I did not enjoy the group I was with very much, as most of them were way older than me with different interests and not very diverse. I can't wait to apply what I learned from the course very soon

Ti Ktok: Our "vegan crossover through Asia" was a complete success. Very tasty and very educational on how to make individual foods vegan at home. What is particularly great is that with all the feasting, care is taken to prepare healthy food! The atmosphere in the cooking class is very pleasant and Michael is a good host who cares about the well-being of his guests. The photo box, for photographing the dishes conjured up together, is a very fun extra. If you fancy a cooking class, you should definitely try RunningPapaya!

Tilo: Super-equipped cooking school with very nice owners and staff. The 🐟🍝 food and the 🍷 drinks were great. Every request was answered and you could even bring in your own ideas, which were then simply tried out 👍🏽. The only criticism I have is the chef's pronunciation, which is not so easy to understand at the beginning. But you get used to it quickly and you can also ask 😉

Addison Hoffman: An indulgent vegan meal on Thanksgiving Day is hard to find. We were blessed to have Thore’s exceptional talent in our home on Thanksgiving this year; he prepared an unparalleled meal for our party of 12, beyond our guests’ expectations. Both wildly indulgent and evidently healthy, the vegan meal was more than we could have asked for. The four course meal included a warm beetroot soup with vegan sour cream and fresh dill; glazed crispy umami tofu with pea guacamole, sweet and sour cranberry sauce and yellow krauts; fresh seasonal herb salad; crispy Oyster mushrooms with potato au gratin, walnut and jackfruit stuffing, green beans, and gravy. We can’t wait to work with Thore again for the next dinner party!

Mia Aponno: We were a (business) group of 9 people and this was the perfect setting for a cosy cook workshop with Paula and Kerstin. Lovely ladies, who explained why RG chose 'Zero Waste Cooking' and guided us in a fun and friendly way throughout the workshop. We were all suprised by their knowledge, but also the great taste of the dishes we prepped with food that otherwise would've been thrown away by, in our case, the supermarkets. Camila Munhoz: It was the most delicious vegetarian food I have ever tried in my life. The colleagues who work there are very lovely and with a positive energy which makes the experience even greater. They explained me everything about their initiatives and their projects are very inspiring, helping a lot of children and adults get familiar with the topic of waste of food. Boris Lauser: Very very tasty food and the service is just so so nice. They had a full house on Friday night and were very busy. So I walked up to the bar a couple of times myself to order another wine or something and they just always gave me such a beautiful smile. You can always look into the kitchen which i always like very much and even the cook comes out sometimes and checks if everything is alright. This place has a true soul. Highly recommended.

Andrea Ricci: The place scored points immediately as they served fresh water from the tap even before handing over the drinks list. In this place you can either book for the round of 18h or for the round of 20h. Menu is fixed and you can order full menu or single dishes from it. That evening's menu was vegan and was good. Beer, Potsdamer Stange, one of the best beer I've ever drunk. I only have a slight complain about portions and price. For the menu and two beers I paid almost 30 Euros and although they were kind to give me one dish extra for free, I was still not satisfied with the overall quantity.
Tatjana Mönch: Love the concept, and loved the food! All vegetarian, but really really rich in taste. All ingredients were combined in such an amazing way that it was pure joy to eat. I was very positively surprised.

For my travel guide #BertaBerlin I eat in many restaurants, but this one really impressed me. Their menu offers only dishes prepared by food, which would have been thrown away, although it is still fresh. I felt very comfortable in the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Sven Götzinger: A fantastic place for friends of good French cuisine. Easily accessible by subway from Bahnhof Zoo in the heart of Charlottenburg. The couple who own it bring their guests and hobby chefs closer to French cuisine in a professional and very charming way. We were there with a company event, but it is also very suitable for individual bookings for existing courses. The interior is nice and practical, it feels like Paul Bocuse!
Anna Seidelsohn: We experienced a wonderful culinary journey through Bordeaux, learned a lot, helped to cook, tasted different wines and ate extremely delicious food. The atmosphere in the cooking studio is very nice. If you want to experience a unique culinary evening, this is the place for you. It certainly won't be the last time we're here.

Of course we have relied on it and have already canceled other locations. Approximately a week after this order confirmation was under a flimsy pretext (we had two questions about the service) the order canceled, as it turned out on the phone was the real reason: The "club" had received a better offer from another group. The whole kind of communication we found really cowardly. In this respect: Very big warning - go here in no case !!!!!

They wanted to invest very little money for their wedding from the beginning and have calculated everything exactly on the minimum sales. We have come very close to you in our catering offer. They could even have brought their own wines. The down payment was too high for you, so we halved it. But even this payment was not made but linked to further price reductions. Since then we have stepped back from our offer, because we could no longer provide the usual performance under these conditions and in our view would not have been good hosts. You could still have looked for your own caterer, because the room was still available for the 5.9.2015. So it was not about a better job, because we had already declined because of your booking. Nevertheless, we wish you to celebrate your wedding the way you would like it and all the best for the future.

Mat Ze: I took the asian cooking course there. In a group of about 12 people, we were accompanied by a very nice and a lady who has organized the whole thing through the evening. For beginners in the Asian cuisine were at the beginning of the most important ingredients that the normal German does not necessarily know introduced. Piece by piece was then cooked a delicious menu. Altogether it was a very nice evening. The only drawback, which also makes for a star deduction, was that you did not receive a written recipe for home cooking. I think that's a pity, because you could not remember everything as the individual ingredients were prepared.
Buk2050: I went to the fish cooking class a few weeks ago and it was just super delicious. The course cost €75, but there was a 4-course menu and drinks were included. The two chefs were able to explain everything very well and it was a lot of fun with them. I can recommend it to everyone who would like to learn something about cooking and eat something delicious in good company.

Dom: Unfortunately a very disappointing and unprofessional cooking course. It was my first course (Family Meals from Vietnam in English) at G&S and it already started with an impersonal welcome and lack of customer care on site. Things were strange, tense and uncoordinated from the very beginning. The course was supposed to be in English, but the assistant hardly managed to complete the introduction and for the rest of the course there was a mix between English for beginners & German. To the course itself, not enough guidance, not enough cooking stations, didn't get an overview of all dishes cooked at all (2 people took care of 1 dish), had hardly something to do and therefore didn't learn anything. Sorry, my partner thought me how to peel garlic. Spent altogether 3,5 hours standing around, listening, watching (how the master chef finalized the dishes) and at the end enjoyed the food, which was the only fun part of the evening. The wine offered in between, was good too. Altogether, it's not what I imagined of a cooking course, not being able to cook any of the dishes later at home. Even not how to prepare sticky rice, since it was already prepared upon our arrival. Apart of the teacher (chef) who was in general friendly and tried hard, the organization seemed to be not existing. All other staff members were not attentive, supportive and appeared to be partly lost. I won't start with the staff's friendliness & smiles which were not existing at all. As mentioned, very disappointing for my first cooking course and for the price, which I though I was doing at a professional place. Seems like that any street food place in Asia would have thought me more.
Agathe: Wonderful experience! We did a cooking course and learnt a lot from the chef! The course has a small group and everything is made to have a great time there. Once you're done, you can enjoy your creation with everyone, and it was delicious! I will come back for sure!!

I found their cooking classes online and signed up for the German Summer Grub class. We learned how to make Northern Sea Prawn soup, Veal Dumplings in a White Wine Caper sauce, and a fresh summer berry dessert. I had the best time here and met some amazing people.

Maria Carolina Rincon: Great wines, cold cuts, sausages from the sausage man that never sleeps and a wide variety of English biscuits.And tortillas, did I mentioned tortillas?
Christian Wischnewski: Nice specialty food store, good selection but only few items per manufacturer due to the small shop. Prices are insane, like everything in Prenzlberg you have a 20-30% markup compared to less-fancy areas in town.
A W: Short changes in every way. They seem to have a kitty next to the till where they keep shortchanged notes from ditzy PBergers (me, I guess... always count your change! promptly returned the swiped cash but didn’t seem one bit surprised when I let a different colleague know). Disaffected, dishonest staff, wildly inflated prices and egos. Another anecdote: they were rude as hell to my boyfriend and nice as pie to the guy in front. The hipster infront was shoplifting!

You had left 10 euro of change at our counter, which we kept at a safe place in the meantime, waiting for you to come back. Upon your return, we immediately returned the money you had left at the counter. As our store manager was present during the transaction, both colleagues working at the store at the time were aware of the situation. We have no idea what exactly makes you come to the conclusion to call us disaffected and dishonest - two terms that absolutely don’t reflect our vision and team. On the contrary, we take great pride in serving our clients and putting together a team of friendly, nice, and enthusiastic staff members. We’re always ready to assist all our clients equally, we’re happy to explain our products in all detail and if time allows, we are up for a little chat with everyone.
