Salma Badr: It’s my first time at a salon specifically for curly hair and i love it! Sherina is so talented, she styled my hair really well. She also gave me a lot of tips for dealing with my hair. Generally they’re really helpful, answering every question i have. They have coffee and tea which was really nice. I loved the place and will for sure go there again ♥️
Anuar: My first time in this salon. Sherina is a very professional, experienced hairdresser. Before cutting they wash and condition the hair which is included in the price. She answered all of my questions regarding proper care for curly hair, and was very kind during the session. I am very satisfied with my haircut and will definitely come here next time. Make sure to book an appointment early, because they are fully booked several months ahead.

Not so here in the Kaysalon: the hair is very good for a long time and the highlights of the different shades of blonde look very natural. I benefit from my visit to the hairdresser for a long time.

Unusual Spaces: I love this salon. It is truly a first for Berlin. Energetic and professional staff. It´s the only place I would go in Berlin for color. You can feel the good energy when you walk in, and the staff are always looking for new ideas and ways to grow and make the client happy. Especially for international clients who are used to a salon in a major city, this is the answer. Understated and cool, with international stylists as well as products. Great coffee and eagerness to make the client happy.
UU1: I can only join in the praise that’s been left here before for Mr Andreas Kurkowitz. This has been my very first visit and I left more than happy. Having been to coiffeurs all over the world, the most high end ones one can think of and after spending fortunes - not to mention my last one that I had been holding on to for easily 10 years plus and despite regular €500+,400+,300+ bills STILL leaving me in a so-so-state, meaning not-really-happy for at least the last year ... I gave up! I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS EARLIER! Was so impressed with the pleasantness and professionalism of all his girls that I encountered at the salon and Andreas himself is just the sweetest, calmest, fastest, most uncomplicated person and hairdresser you can think of. I liked him immediately and he ABSOLUTELY knows what he is doing. How funny when a total stranger one minute seems to get you better than the person that’s been tending to your mane for all this time - I think we hit it off at first sight and I will not be without him anymore in my hair future. Head here for THE GOOD HAIR COLOR, I would say he knew what I didn’t know I wanted to have - and don’t get me wrong, I know EXACTLY what I want and don’t want my hair to look like. Creme de la creme. Ottavio Ferrante: I have been to this place 4 times already and every time with a different hairdresser. So I think I can say that I had enough experiences to give a proper review. I am shocked to say that none of the hairdressers speak English, so if that’s the language you intend to speak do not go there. I am disappointed because every time I go they never did what I ask, and I want to precise that I have enough knowledge of the German language to explain what I want, to be honest I do not know myself why I kept going there, or maybe I do know. It’s because Google recommended it as a specialised place for curly hair, and I can sincerely tell you, that they do not know at all how to work with people with curly hair. I strongly do not recommend. Service: Curly hair
E.A.: Probably the worst hair cut I have ever gotten. I truly regret this more than any other decision in my life, because at least with most mistakes- you learn a valuable lesson. I cannot spin this into a positive experience, this just sucks. My length is super uneven, I have spots where the hair is 3 inches longer than the lock next to it. My heart hurts because I know I will have to pay for another haircut to fix this.

Only half an hour later I was called and offered an appointment. And I am extremely happy with that! Even though I couldn’t really explain what I wanted to have and my hair looked more like a ball of wool than a proper hairstyle, Dimitri did an awesome job and cut exactly what I had on my mind– and even more, because he gave great advise too. He was very nice, listened carefully, was professional in every way, gave really good advise and worked really hard so he doesn’t do things by halves. He made sure I feel comfortable during the process and liked the finished results. Within 1 hour I got a hair consultation, a wash, a cut and a blow dry / beach waves. I waited for a few weeks to share my final review of the experience at this salon. The cut holds the shape and is easy to style. Now I can strongly recommend Lance for a hair cut and will come back.

Red Pill Science: If you have tricky to style hair, then do not go there. They cost triple what you pay at the local hair dresser yet the highlights and the cut do not look any better. At the end i bought two products from them( based on their recommendation) but was also not so helpful to keep my gray hairs dark. Tatyana Eliseeva: I personally don’t understand where the reviews are coming from. I came with a specific picture of what I want (my previous haircut) and I got something completely different. Seems like both masters didn’t really know how to do what I wanted (I had nothing special, just longer bangs), so they even asked me if I knew how the previous hairdresser cut it. They gave me a discount, thus 3 stars and not 2. Maybe I was just very unlucky.
Response: Hello Tatyana, We are sorry that you don't like the result. We cut the kind of ponies several times a day, which is not a difficulty for us. As a professional, we find it difficult when clients tell us exactly "how to cut" and explain the craft to us, instead of trusting us. We always try to take into account the current condition of the hair and the general aesthetics. This requirement then results in an overall picture that highlights the beauty of our clients. I had acted as a Master Stylist and advised you accordingly. Therefore, I had advised you that I would do something "softer". Your wish probably contradicted my professional assessment, Perhaps we misunderstood each other due to language barriers. Klaara Nieminen: This was my first time at a hairdresser so I was a bit nervous going in. I thought I might be scolded for my hair routine or lack thereof, or pushed towards a style I didn’t want, but instead I was received with positivity, support and warmth. Fatima asked about my hair and enquired whether I had some hereditary hair qualities or issues. She encouraged me to ask questions and apart from an amazing haircut, I got a personalised hair education ranging from diy potions to styling tips, hair bonnets to other product recommendations. Fatima makes lovely company and conversation while simultaneously doing her hair transforming magic. Thank you so much!
