Annie Kirchner: We‘ve been with Dr. Mendez since 2016 and very satisfied with him. The doctor speaks very good English, understanding and professional!! Even my mom flew from Bangkok to see him and get his treatment! Dr. Mendez was really lovely and kind to our 4 year old son The receptionist lady was also nice although she doesn’t speak English but that‘s totally ok with us 👍 The waiting time was average around 30-40 mins. Overall, we‘re very happy with him! Highly recommend Dr. Mendez!!

Ante Jurlin: Doctor Mendez ist nice, but never actually takes any time for me. I´ve been there several times and he was always in rush and never properly listened to me. But my 2-star rate is not becasue of him, but because of the communication with the desk, which is not possible at all. You can never reach anybody on the phone and on their website it said you can write them an E-mail. I did so so many times, but it was the most frustrating experience ever. They never answer the E-mails, they just call back or totally ignore me! By call back, I mean that they try to call you back once and if you cannot answer the phone, that´s it, you missed your opportunity since they never bother to reach you again. And since I cannot answer the phone calls while working, the communication with them was not possible. And I wonder why do they have an E-mail address if they don´t answer the messages. So now, even if I would want to go back there, i can´t because my last two E-Mails trying to get an appointment were totally ignored for months now already.

Diana Jensen: Really really bad experience. I wait for one 1 hour!!! I had my appointment at 9.30 and they called me at 10.30. // The doctor not even check properly my skin... I ask to do regular blod test to check if I have food allergies (since he told me that last year...and he did not want it to to anything... just gave me the same cream than one year ago. He say: you just have stress! // Is not a good doctor for sure. I would not recomend to come here.

John McSpedon: Terrible reception. Cancelled multiple appointments without calling beforehand, apologizing, or offering to reschedule. Doctor could be okay, but only 1 of my 3 scheduled visits actually resulted in speaking with them. Complete waste of time

Jon-Luke Cogger: the busiest practice in berlin i have ever visited. we had to que for 30 minutes after our appointment start time with the ques going up the stairs just to speak to the reception. after that we had to wait 30 minutes more. once we were eventually seen by a doctor, we were rushed and could only mention one theme that concerned us. We estimated that we only had 3 minutes each with the doctor and was told to book another appointment to talk about anything else. this is ridiculous since we already waited 3 months for our individual appointments and then an hour of waiting since we arrived. I will be complaining to my health insurance provider since the appointment contact time and attention did not meet even basic standards. avoid this place at all costs!

CW Manley: All 3 times I went I was unhappy. The queuing on the stairs to begin with is a joke, 30 people all queuing up the stair case when you have an appointment and have to wait an hour to be seen after your appointment time. Then you are greeted by rude staff on reception. Lastly the female doctor that saw me last rushed through checking my moles which didn’t fill me with lots of confidence and then seemed to think I had mold on my back which I had to correct her and say it was acne scars from when I was about 10 years old. Did these people even go through medical training? My friend who left a bad review recently who had similar experiences had his comment removed and the practice wrote that he wasn’t a patient there….WRONG! Definitely don’t waste your time there is all I can say!

Alexis Lejeune: Showed up on time at my 11AM appointment, only to see 30 people already waiting to be seen. I left after 30min waiting, nobody from the waiting line had been picked up by the doctors at that time still.

Pao Poi: I am patient since years and I am very sad to say that, competence apart (medician and nurses are super cool) there are few very bad things that I would suggest to fix because, these make the experience of booking an appointment, very unpleasant. 1. Is truly hard to get answered to the phone.The phone number provided, just put me in wait forever. 2. Patients await on the stairs for also more than 30 mins sometimes, before being welcomed into the studio and then wait again. 3. Booking an appointment is a "lotto win" if you can catch one on doctolib, maybe you have one in months. I wish there were the possibility to speak with someone to manage the appointments better.

Prinita Naidoo: I visited this practice for the first time and saw Dr. Norah Kabbush, she was excellent, she took her time and listened to all my varies concerns. I felt heard and well taken care of, highly recommend her and will definitely be back.

F. Salazar: This place is a terrifying butchery! Do not go there! The doctor botched my face for a small cosmetic surgery which caused severe scarring and serious side effects, after that he was suddenly unavailable whenever I try to talk to him. Yet he dares to threaten suing me for sharing a review here! They exploit being an expat and not knowing the German laws and try to make you feel scared and force you to delete the review in which one is talking about their horrible work!! The worst experience I have ever had in my entire life! THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS! AVOID GOING THERE AT ALL COSTS!

Ammy Varela: I booked the appointment just the day before and everything worked fine. Personnel is super friendly and helpful. My only “complaint” is that when I made the appointment Doctolib said that this doctor spoke English and that really wasn’t true. However, she did understand quite a bit and we managed to work it out. So I still recommend it if you can speak some German

Kirill Pronine: Always very quick during the appointment almost pushing you out the door claiming that there is a line waiting. Happened twice with our family. Feels like a money making operation and not a doctors office that is interested in the patients wellbeing. Last straw was the cancellation of an appointment via sms two hours before the appointment without a call or an offer to reschedule or see another doctor. UPDATE: and they have hired a shady lawyer to take down bad reviews. Tough to handle the truth.

A S: I would like to specify that the receptionists mess up a lot (i.e. not passing you to correct doctor, timing, etc.) but there is one good doctor at Dermatologikum in Berlin, and that is Dr. Prof. Kämpgen. 5/10 would recommend him as a doctor for serious issues such as psoriasis or eczema. The first doctor told me that I had backne, but I told her that I was told that it could not be backne. When I requested to see Dr. Kämpgen, be confirmed that Backne was not the issue, but that it was indeed a different skin issue. I would say the clinic is good if you go to the good doctor. The only real problem is that they can’t help with treatment for the serious issues…

Jeff Feiereisen: Amazing clinic. Their English was fluent which was important for me since I was visiting Germany. Clinic was so clean and modern looking. Huge space too. I came in due to a rash and met with Prof. Kämpgen. He was incredible. He was friendly, he listened, he was patient, and most importantly, he knew exactly what to do. He built a plan of attack and provided follow up actions. I really felt safe, heard, and helped.

Anouk Brose: Super friendly, humane, competent and no waiting times. I was at Dr. Agnes Richter and she always took time to explain and answer any questions I had, was compassionate, humble and truly interested in solving my issue however best possible. That is,most importantly they succeeded in removing my two deep warts (that three other dermatologists failed to do.)

Ricky: Here for acne treatment with Prof. Kämpgen. Great doctor who is obviously very knowledgeable and took time to explain to me about the treatment. Also his assistant doctor Dr. Kampf, nurses and receptionists are very competent and friendly as well!

Ami Jin: Turned me away even though I was only 5 min late. The receptionist was particularly vindictive and took great pleasure and satisfying in denying me, even though I had an appointment. Absolutely pathological with a healthy dose of authoritarianism.

Timur Dzhergeniya: Terrible place, should have complained long ago, but gave this place another chance, which was a big mistake. First of all, the clinic makes you make an appointment through Doctorlib with wrong information, and when you confront them, they pretend they have nothing to do with the Doctorlib. The girl at the reception, dark hair, overweight, is more like Cerberus: rude, unfriendly, with an attitude as if she runs that place. First she threatens to call the police, and when you say, yes, let the police come she cannot properly dial a number. Disaster. The doctor, Florian Nitsch, is what I would call a mere joke to this profession. At one of my appointments he was totally high on something, or had a fun night before. When it comes to treating severe acne/gram-negative folliculitis he is totally out of his depth. I know more than he does. On top he has no idea how to use Doctorlib, I was uploading images of my condition, and when I came to my appointment, he did not even dare to look. I mean how you are treating your patients, with antibiotics only? I would not recommend going to this place, in fact, everyone there should be fired, and the so-called doctor should be stripped of his licence to practice.

Barbara Paszkiewicz: The appointments are not being held on arranged time. There is no explanation or time estimation for the delay. Room for improvements in communication. On the plus side- the receptionist speaks English.

Andjela Sekulic: After a stressful and unsuccessful appointments with the public dermatologist, I have decided to try my luck at Skin and Laser Center Berlin. For a year now I have been a patient with Dr Al Salamah for acne treatment. First and foremost, I would like to praise how he is communicating with patience, or in this situation me, particularly his patience and calmness because after the first appointment he made me feel calm, and most importantly heard. He did not take my problems lightly and straight away recommended medications in combination with monthly fascial treatments. Fascial treatments have been done almost exclusively by Ms Natalia Heidenreich, golden hands, very gentle and soothing. In case she would be worried about my skin, she would consult the doctors which is something I highly appreciated. Regarding the administration and other doctors I had a chance of meeting in case Dr Al-Salamah was unavailable, I have nothing to say but praises. Administration was always friendly and kind, finding solutions for every problem that I had (e.g. in case I wrongly booked my control check-ups). Other doctors were just as kind and calm as Dr Al-Salamah, with constructive suggestions. After a year of being a patient there, I can highly recommend Skin and Laser Center in Berlin because the changes on my skin are drastic. Again I feel confident to go around without make up, and I am really satisfied with the quality of my skin. Not that I had such a dramatic skin acne, but enough to shake my self-esteem especially as I never had problems. One thing that I am looking forward and still awaiting is when we decide to stop the treatment, which should be soon, is the recommendation of skin care. That might be the only part that I am lacking as my knowledge is very basic, I am too scared to try new things but it has also to do with the fact that my medications should do most, if not all of the job to maintain my skin clear for now! To conclude, I would highly recommend Skin and Laser Center with the most praises to Dr Al-Salamah and Ms Natalia Heidenreich.

Rinaldo Raccichini: I went to HLCP in Berlin as a private patient (I paid my own because I have the public krankenkasse). I choose Dr Hamad Al-Salamah (via doctolib) to discuss my skin problem. He was very kind, immediately recognized my issue, and gave me the appropriate treatment. After one month, I returned for a follow-up check and did not pay the second visit. Thanks to Dr Al-Salamah, my skin problem is finally solved. Thus, I strongly recommend HLCP and ask for Dr Al-Salamah.

Nour Eddin Alsabbagh: Very bad experience.. went there on a Saturday as I wan in a bad condition after visiting several doctors and no one could help … was given a medication with cortison and another without and they took a sample of my skin to test it … I was supposed to be called with the results but I had to follow it and call several times and I was promised more that 3 times that a doctor will contact me an they end of the day and that did not happen .. at the end I get a call from one of the front desk workers to tell me that the doctor told her so and so .. very unprofessional and very expensive … I mean very .. Tor nothing they did not help .. the test came back negative for a fungus infection which was wrong and the medication did not help and I had to pay almost 200 euros .. turns out After one visit to a Heilpraktiker that it is a fungus infection caused by an imbalance in the gut flora and non of the dermatologists I visited even thought about it .. they just recklessly prescribe medications with cortison that suppresses the immune system and morsen the condition..

This praise is long overdue: I have been a regular patient for years and feel that I am in good hands here for all dermatological issues. Scheduling appointments is always easy because the team is so service-oriented. For all aesthetic issues I place myself in the hands of Dr. Schulenburg - most recently for botox treatment. The information is perfect, all steps are explained in detail and the treatment itself is quick, professional and the most important thing: always successful! INA DUNKEL: For me, the skin and laser center Berlin is the No. 1 practice in terms of competence, empathy, advice and friendliness. Miss Dr. Rokeach is MY doctor (10 stars!!) - extremely friendly and competent, she advises me at eye level. Here I never have the feeling of being a patient - on the contrary - thank you very much! The entire team from registration to invoice processing to time management works together for the benefit of the patient. Great.

Laura Schwarz: I came to allergology a few years ago when I was physically and emotionally drained. I never would have thought that 5 years later I would be able to cope with my life again like I can now. There is a lot of pressure on the ward, sometimes doctors had more, sometimes less time. Basically, I have to say a big big thank you to all the doctors who treated me. You gave me my life back, even helped me dry my tears sometimes. Of course it would be great if such a treatment is possible for everyone and there are more capacities in the future, in favor of the patients as well as of course the treating persons. Not everything is perfect, but I have to say a big thank you to everyone in the station for where we are!

Salima Hassan: Unfortunately I have to submit this not so good review for the simple reason that I not able to reach the practice on the phone since so many days to get my blood tests results, no answer to my multiple emails either. This is unacceptable. Dr Florian is a great doctor and really professional though. I am not able to go there to get the results any time soon, hopefully this review will make them answer my email!

Nikki Ballal: The doctor is really good. Me and my husband have gone to him couple of times for our skin issues. He has addressed the issues well and given right treatment. He also explained it well and clarified our doubts unlike other doctors. We have visited other doctors too in 1 year but Dr. loannis is the best so far among the other doctors we have been to. And we would continue going to him if we get any skin related issues.

He was helpful and explained me clearly what the skin problem i am currently having. Suggested a medication-lotion. Also did a shortly cancer-screening. Since there is a lack of good Dermatologist in Berlin , this place is an heaven. I started to use medication right away and feeling way better. The only negative thing i had to wait 30 min despite the appointment. But that can be happened. It is not possible to examine every patients in a certain time.
