Soda Club Berlin: what do users think?

Sophie Wachholz: there is a lot to say about this club, negative as well as positive. i‘ll just go through my night chronically. It started with a long queue in front of the club which went by actually quite quickly. My male friend and I pretended to be dating in order to get into the club, worked like magic. Until the next bouncer asked whether we have a 24h old negative covid test… which we didn’t. 45 min later we were there again, the bouncers checked all the pockets and bags from my friend. They didn’t even bother looking into my jacket, cus they were so distracted by my sternum tattoo. Plus, they were incredibly kind to me. As I headed to the lockers, this girl started screaming „yo, there is an entrance fee?!!“ A really aggressive and rude girl who then went on to complain how much she hated her job and how she wishes to sleep now. It cost 10€, the lockers cost 2€. Then we went into the actual building. Soda club isn’t build like a conventional club, it is a gigantic complex with different dance floors within. At first I thought they would all have similar type of songs and music throughout but that was were i was dead wrong. Each room had a totally different type of music. German schlager in one room, followed by techno then a hip hop room and a chart hits room - long story short, you could dance to every genre of music. And the songs wouldn’t mush up when you were standing close to the other room, which was nice. I like the idea of offering music for each person but also incredibly annoying. The dj would play two good songs followed by a stupid song. Then, i would change room for a different vibe. All in all very confusing… Plus, the club was jam packed. Full to the max! I had to weasel my way through the crowd which was an adventure filled with sweat, sticky alcohol and being pushed from one side to the other. Speaking of alcohol, a vodka orange cocktail cost me 8€?! A shot 2,50€…. kinda hurt my budget but by flattering some guys i had my night sponsored just fine.

Enmanuel Ortega: Pretty cool club, I went on Sunday and it was really cool. They have different types of dancing places. There is Bachata Dominicana, Salsa y Bachata sensual. Apart from being the authentic one, the Bachata Dominicana was really cool to dance.

stephano mendoza: Don’t come here, we were trying to celebrate a birthday we were a group of friends who got together to celebrate a birthday. We came from different parts of Europe and two of us were refused entry. Not professional and very picky. We were not drunk, high anything, very racist, and aggressive. Worst club I have ever been.

Roxane Mae: Nice atmosphere, cool people and the floors are great. Also the sound isolation is so incredibly good that you will never hear any music overlap. Highly recommend it.

Eva Lund: **people who did not get through the doors cannot leave 1 star reviews!!** Great atmosphere, so many different areas to chill out, staff is all very friendly, my boyfriend and I are American and don’t speak German but try our best and they seemed to appreciate that. Bartenders were great, the grill/foodtruck was the f***ing bomb! Met a bunch of fun people and had a really amazing time. If you’re looking for a great Berlin club that isn’t solely techno I would recommend this place above all others— two rooms with pop/classic bops/remixes and one techno room.

Leila Martin: Girl at the garderobe was very rude to us and would not get our coats. The bouncers took a sentimental personal belonging of mine and lost it when I went to retrieve it. Cocktails were absolutely disgusting and expensive. Would not recommend unless you’re trying to waste your time

M. Bizjan: Wanted to visit this place for a drink with cousin. Well dressed as others we were exicited to have a drink here and party. Unfortunately we were not accepted by the arrogant and racist security guards. All white people in front of us and behind us were allowed to enter. Also other light/black skinned were not to allowed. So unfortunate they treat poeple like this anno 2022. I will never go here again and i recommend others also not to go. -5 stars for this place, security guards and door policy.

Matrix Club Berlin: what do users think?

Artur Harutyunyan: A good one, but the atmosphere is kind of complicated and it is not equal to top class clubs. Bar is good

Jet van Iwaarden: This club was horrible. Way too many people. People touching you, fights were happening, it took me 30mins to get my jacket to get out of there (because a nice guy saw me and got my jacket for me). And on top of this, they were letting in more people, when there was obviously no room. Please do not spend your money here!

Stuart Wilson: Terrible club. Went on a Tuesday night. Only the one floor open. Charged to get in and wasn’t allowed to sit at any tables as apparently all reserved. Also some scamming Romanian on the toilet doors charging you to go to the toilet. Avoid. Much better places to go to that’s more fun. Also kicked out and not allowed in to get jacket.

Gor Hakobyan: Its a great and really fun nightclub. The dj was really good and the music was amazing. It costs 10 eur to get in. If you get out of the club though you will need to pay again. There is a small outdoor area that is still considered as club and you can get out to breathe

Aliya Shypilova: This place is full of harassment. Don’t go there if you are a woman. Security don’t really care and lets in everyone. Inside there was no security also. Through out the night there I had a guy following me the whole night even after clear “No’s” (and when we told the security about it on the way out they said they can not do anything about it) tons of unwanted stares and even touches. Disgusted. Drinks cheap, music basic and primitive. The location, neighbourhood also not looking very nice and safe.

FEED FURAIJI: It was great time with friends good DG plus enough places for dancing and sitting …

Emily Locke: Had the best experience at Matrix. Loved that there were multiple floors with different types of music. Would definitely recommend!

Maxxim: what do users think?

Alexander Beckx: Friendliest club in Berlin! Security, bouncers, staff at the bar are very friendly. Music very divers! From R&B to German techno, and from 90’s to awesome mixtapes. Can’t wait to comeback again!

Tawes Aziz: Various drinks options and a pretty organized and neat sitting areas. The dance floor is relatively big, and the music system is pretty neat, securing an enjoyable experience for dancing. Also contains a separate smoking area.

Claude C: Racist security guards!!!! Please avoid this place. The other reviews are totally right! Turkish security guards let you in base on the colour of your skin, letting whites in but black and Asian told they cannot come in!!! Absolutely shocking and shameful that such things still happen in this day and age.

Varun Nahata: I usually don’t do reviews but i had to do it for this place to save anyone from having a bad experience. I feel one star is too much to give for this wannabe exclusive place. Never in my life have i seen or met such racist doormen! In a place like Berlin, a city that has the reputation of being accepting and open, they did not let me in based on my Indian nationality. They were talking about it in German which fortunately I understand but I guess they thought I didn’t! You are much better off going to places like Watergate, Sisyphos etc. instead of coming to this racist establishment!

Charles Bret: Poor club, very far, bouncers very rude and you can find way better way easier

Schedule: Open 24 hours

Business type: Disco club

teledisko gold: what do users think?

Tooth: I had fun although the interior and the tiny disco ball that was spinning at slug speed was rather shabby, because all that became trivial once the lights started flashing and music began to blast. I don’t know whether is was just due to our song of choice being "Song 2" but it was absolutely blaring, a little louder and I think I would’ve gone deaf. Paying for photos or a video is not really worth it since you can barely see anything and the camera placement is unhandy, a third of the view being blocked by a green box and the disco ball so I’d suggest going there with a friend and taking videos on your own!

Elena Khoury: Pick whatever song your heart desires and dance your heart out! you can maybe fit two people in this little telephone booth. It does get extremely hot and humid in there so you get the real club experience.

Josephine Pacate: Me dancing in the worlds smallest disco. A phone booth converted into a disco complete with dry ice, strobelights, mirror ball and a choice of my song - Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics.😜

Alex Martin: it was fun until a group of kids started rocking the booth while we were inside it :(((((

Joseph Risson (jo): got rejected without any explanation, even though I knew the dress code. Not nice

Valentina Wallis: This is the funniest thing you can find in Berlín. If you really wanna get the whole Berlin vibe this is a must-go.

Dunckerclub: what do users think?

Elisa Seerig: Wonderful gothic nightclub at reasonable price. Will definitely come back when in Berlin again!

GekteJelles: Very nice place. Bouncer was nice, good music and nice vibe. There alot of goths here and local people so if you like rock go here!

Maria Belen Almiron: I tried to go to this place for the first time, and the old guy (the bouncer) who works at the door was very rude with me when I tried to ask him a little bit about the place and the party. He shouldn’t be working there anymore… bring someone cool because he has no manners and i would not comeback because of this guy. Also he tried to scam me… what an awful guy!!

Ruby Walker: The goth vampire club of your dreams! Great music, good vibes all around. Highlight of my time in Berlin.

Alex Fitch: Monday night, the place for old school Goth, industrial, electro etc with a decent crowd.

Ritayan Rath: Awesome, great music but the DJ is not mixing

S. R.: The goth nights here are always worth a trip. Every time I visit Berlin I come here.

Anna Reger: An absolute delight, my favourite place of all for dancing :) imo the last real authentic club where you can dance to some batcave tunes. Only trouble is the extremely rude bouncer. Unnecessarily rude to best guests in town, also for ones who have been guests for years. Scamming horribly, as many people already mentioned. I really hope something can be done about it - such a pity for this wonderful place like Duncker.

Tyler McMahon: Was trying to get in alone on a Monday night. The rude old lady bouncer said simply “It is not possible for you to get in tonight”. I was not given an explanation. Maybe not blue eyes and blonde hair…

Melissa Furtak: Was there on a Monday🌟nice little club, not the most typical but I loved the ping pong room🏓 music worked well for me..nearly no waiting time In the line.. I would go there again👍🏼

Emma Rodriguez-Muñoz: If I could give 0 stars, I would. I understand a club might nees to be « exclusive », but the kind of disrespect the security shows is just incredible. At first, their argument was that we were with « too many »; however, after splitting the group, we still weren’r allowed to enter despite our friends inside informinf us there was enough space and several people leaving the club. Furthermore, the music was not even worth it. I have never known such disrespect and would certainly not recommend this to anyone.

Karina P: Stuff is nice, place is small, quiz show is bad.

Romi Belsky: Great place, great music international pop songs, great peoples !!!

Jonathan Amar: Great bar service, but women didn’t want to dance despite there being a massive positive ratio of women to men. Very young crowd. Lots of women aged 17 - 20. International crowd. Definitely go on a Monday. A fun time for sure. Go after 12:30am.

Lærke Monk: Worst club in the World. The bartender is super rude, and they Only accepted cash and didn’t Tell os before we Used our last cash to get inside, and then didn’t have enough cash to buy stuff at the bar, because we were misinformed!!! They were totaly tricking us, and they were taken advantages of us being tourists! They just wanted our money, and didnt Care of us having a Nice time!!!

Levin Song: The line to get in was huge. I have no complains with the music they’re playing. I like it so much. 80s, Pop!

Tresor: what do users think?

Natarsha Kocan: Super cool venue, long line and didn’t get let in the first night but did the following night. They put stickers on your phone camera and the crowd had a lot of tourists. Music was good and lights

Mikolaj P: Once you get in it is a very good experience. All the guests and the staff inside the building are respectful and kind which creates great and safe feeling atmosphere. The bouncer ladies seemed dead serious and not so nice but I guess that is their job. If u want to get in know who is playing, what is the event name if any and just be nice.

Yuan Tien: Decent venue. The sound systems were good and the space is unique. The door selection process seems random as they denied some really cool people I met in line, but while inside there were plenty of excited tourists.

Finn S.: Often when people speak about known clubs in Berlin they mention Tresor. BUT THIS IS WRONG. Tresor has nothing to do with the great clubs such as Berghain etc. Let me tell you why: -Most of the people there are tourists between 18 and 21. I’ve never seen Hawaii shirts in clubs, in Tresor many. People are wasted, intrusive and certainly not there because of the good techno (maybe that’s why they have a souvenir shop in the club where you can buy t-shirts?). -Very average techno. But if you like house music you will like the floor upstairs. -Strange door staff. They asked people if they are from Berlin, who’s playing tonight, etc. but then let everybody in (why then even asking?). -They sold tickets beforehand but then at night let the people without ticket in first to make extra money (because they would pay, the ones with the ticket already paid). -The liquor there is low quality (e.g. Eristoff Vodka). -Unsafe and non barrier-free environment. Look at the picture, screws sticking out of the wall. The guy in front of me almost hit his head.

oushiao: focused on dark electronic sounds. song selection is good. However, there is some empty time between the DJs, so it would be better to keep playing the song without interruption. It has a second floor and the atmosphere is dark and sophisticated, so very nice.

Robin Sichler: Amazing immersion in techno (we stayed for 10 hours). We had no trouble coming in the club even if we were speaking English (just make sure to know the line-up, and to come pretty early to avoid the queue). Entry is pretty expensive (30€) but definitely worth the price. The place is huge, with a nice chill out area and the basement room is everything. Definitely a place to try for techno amators

N3-Club: what do users think?

Leroy O: WARNING !!! Do not book. The bouncers are rude and the bar staff is the most unfriendly I´ve encoutered in many years of going to Berlin partys. You are not allowed to leave the club and then return which I am not even sure of if it´s legal. The drinks are ridiculously expensive. If you consider booking I strongly advice against.

Friedrich: Cool nightclub, but rude and undecided doorsteps and bartenders. This is annoying when celebrating. Drinks are extremely expensive. The toilets go only a few sinks and soap does not exist. So a generally good club but with a lot of potential upwards.

super Daniel Hils: Was cool

Samu: Nice bouncers and the room is ok if you want to hold an event with around 50-100 people.

Kemal Ozturk: Not bad

Niklas Kwasniewski: Celebrated 18th birthday the people from Mahlsdorf were the most blatant

Klostermill Kloi: Service under all sow

Mateo Michalec: Came to this club ( well didnt even get a chance to go inside ) if you speak English forget about trying to enter. Bouncers have a power trip! Disappointing!!!

Mehmet Oguzcan: very nice club if you come with a partner (couple group ) there is no problem to enter ,as matter of fact they dont wellcome 3 or 4 boy groups, its also good for the other people who come to have fun with partner all you need is cash you can find cigarettes inside also people having fun and chat over the sea

Treesakul Tongsaree: It was ok. There was no line at the entrance. And they only take cash, no card. So that was not very convenient. Though, the ATM was not far away. There are two floors. Downstairs is a dance floor and upstairs is a big smoking area. Downstairs, when people were dancing, it was quite hot and smelly like sweat ;( and upstairs smelled like smoke and the people were giving me unfriendly vibes.

Nataliya H: A bit overcrowded and very hot inside ( like anywhere in Berlin). This year it is their 20th anniversary so to celebrate it, they are inviting really great DJs, some are playing live which is sooooo amazing! Reasonable prices. Only cash. No dresscode. Many tourists. Staff is pretty friendly. But barmen are definitely overwhelmed and tired. The view is so beautiful, especially in summer.

Josephine Miller: Myself and a friend (both English, but fluent in german) turned up with a couple of American friends, and were turned away because we were "too drunk" by a female bouncer who needs to sort her attitude out as she is losing them custom. We had actually had a singular drink each before turning up, and no ide why we were turned away. A waste of time, would not recommend.

Anatolii Lytvynov: i mean …… bouncers will not let you in and don’t tell you the reason (i am a techno fan, so i was dressed properly, not drunk etc). Berlin is so free and welcoming to anyone but the clubs police does not correspond to it

SHWARTINIO: The best club I was ever. The best techno and d&b in Berlin with really good people and good vibe.Thank you so much!❤️

Dawid Woźniak: Really nice place with great lighting, good techno music and amazing view at the river. The entrance fee on Saturday was 20€ + 1€ for the cloakroom.

Berghain | Panorama Bar: what do users think?

Ire: What’s up what’s up buckle list check. We were here before Christmas and luckily before the lockdown. Already know they are very selective in terms of customer. And I don’t know why we got in to be honest. Maybe it was not a such busy day. Waited for hours I think. We also went to do a fast test before. The music was really good. Very open minded people are here.

John S (J Swift): The club is 1000% an amazing experience. It’s unlike any club I’ve ever visited. The place is huge, you can truly get lost in the dark with the techno music beating in the back. For those of you coming here writing bad reviews because you didn’t get in. Going to Berghain is like getting the job you what. The “exclusivity” is what drives people to come and wait in a line for two hours in the first place. I visited for the first time two weeks ago and had no issues getting in. The bouncers were fine. People need to stop complaining about the bouncers! They are doing their jobs! Here a few tips if you’re scratching your head. Again these are just my opinions. 1. Look cute, don’t look basic or plain Jane . If you can…look edgy. Think chic and unique. You don’t have to spend money to be creative or noticeable. If you’re with a group, let the best dressed guide you. 2. Look/ appear confident, cool and collected when you’re at the door 3. Don’t say much when you get to the front of the line 4. Put your phone anyway and live in the moment when you get to the door. 5. Your group matters. It’s about an aesthetic, a vibe. 6. Take the time to look up and know at least one or two of the DJs playing

S R: Been fortunate to be allowed inside several times. I can see this place not being your “jam” if you are not into techno. But to those of us that are truly there for the music, an experience like no other.Best bet is wearing black. Avoid street wear

Daniel Norin: The soundsystem is a beast, very unique and raw. Top it up with great DJs. The crowd is also very engaged. No problems getting in, I was really not dressed as a mainstreamer as the rest of the que. But had no problems. Even had a cap on, guess the only one there. But I was purely there for the sound and club experience and guess the club people sensed it somehow. Berghain is so raw, a powerhouse, a place to experience in Berlin.

Dayton: I came alone here during my first visit to Berlin. It’s amazing there is somewhere you can be yourself fully. The sense of security and privacy I had felt great. The music was insanely good and it really is any techno lover’s dream! The bass hits your body in a way that I cannot describe. The start of Freddy K during the Easter party was by far my favorite. The lounge above panorama is a great place to meet people. Everyone I met there is so caring, welcoming, and generous. They have the best espresso I have ever tasted in my life! The ice cream bar is lovely and the prices aren’t high. They even sell bananas and sandwiches! Great place to recharge!

Jozef Stremen: The best sound system I have had pleasure to immerse myself in. Great place to meet interesting people. The staff are effortlessly real gems. Read up on the club history and performers, dress up and own it, be corteous and you should get in.

VOID Club: what do users think?

Callum Vittali-Smith: Incredible!! I went twice during my week in Berlin because it was so good. Really love the three floors, giving you different options throughout the night and makes 8 hours feel like a few minutes. Fantastic DJs, and heaps of great people to meet. Easy chill out space outside to get some fresh air. Friendly security, had a running joke with one of them every time I came out. This place is what Berlin is all about.

Viet Long Nguyen: Friendly bouncers, cool bartender, solid techno music. And bekl the bartenders are cool. Looking forward to come by again.

Cedric Edwards: A great club in the heart of Berlin. They are fond of Techno and host many other events for many different genres. The club is large and consists of 6 dancefloors and an outside garden area.

Sajed Mejri: Prices are incredibly affordable, really heavy underground scene and trippy psychedelic environment. I had a long conversation with the security since they are very lovely and welcoming haha. The doors are open to everyone, no judgment and no dress (aka stress) code. The sound is A+ and also DJs are very passionate, enough big names, I want new artists :) 2 different scenes and mostly different bpm range, so you can chill at one and be thirsty in the other. I will definitely play there one day 👌

Róbert Kovács: Its a small underground club in Berlin, the staff is kind, you dont have to wait so much time in the line like in other clubs, and after this you find yourself in a small place, with a normal amount of people, normal amount of seats, clean toilets, and the end you will recognize most of the people who enjoyed their night there. Highly recommend it. We got there because the bouncer at Sisyphos didnt let us (2 guys) after waiting 1,5 hours sober and a friend living in Berlin recommended this place to enjoy our night. We didn’t regret it:) Thanks!

Tom Becker: There’s better clubs in berlin but i had a great night. Worth visiting

Paula Mateo-Guerrero: Had an incredible experience, one of the best underground venues in Berlin.

Elle Reese (Miss Quest): Cool place, drinks are a bit expensive though. Glad I didn’t have to pay for them

Vivek Shukla: Too expensive and not the great atmosphere. The only expectations if you should have is average ambiance and dances by performers. The same performers are repeated same again and again. After 1 hour you feel boar and think of better place to go. If you want one hour break go for it for 22 euros, or else for longer entertainment go for some other place.

J. Renx: I had my birthday bash and rented this club from 5pm to 11pm. Everything was well organized und staff are friendly & efficient.

Caroline Churchill: Was ok loved the vibes and was really fun nice customer service......can say would be a nice place to be hanging around .......

brittany green: Great Saturday 90s-2000 music mix.

Amit Segal: The girls are not so pretty they are fine but they are not a professional dancers and the club are empty from people I don’t see anything good about this place I don’t understand why it have so good rating

Natalia X: Like this good girls, , helpful manager, girls very difference for every body, every body can find someome for them like. Recommend.

Nick Koller: Such a rip off. Local girls try to suck every penny out of customers. Alcohol is expensive. Totally not worth a shot.
