Dog walking area on Stoessensee Spandau: what do users think?

hyung jun yoo: This dog park is really nice.I have visited there tons of times for my dog. Some dogs can swim in the river in the Summer.

Мария Шевкун: Amazing place. Was happy being there

Estefania Iturralde: If you love dogs . This is the place 🐶

Timothy Johnson: Pichelswerder on the Havel and Stossensee Spandau (near Pichelsberg and Olympiastadion) offers the best dog park that I've found in Berlin. It is a paradise for our loyal and faithful four legged friends. Immediately upon turning off the traffic congestion of Herrstraße, you are immersed in nature on a tiny cobblestone lane. The combination of trails, forests, beaches, dogs and people are superb. The sights, sounds and smells of nature abound. Whether it's feeling the fresh breezes, birds chirping or the sand between your toes, you know that time has slowed down. You've left the city behind for awhile. Here you will find plenty of spectacular views - from the upper trail vistas overlooking the Havel, the banks of Kladow on the opposite shoreline and southward toward Wannsee. Walking along the lower shore trails, there are boats everywhere. On the insel's eastern side is a protected inlet and marina with a varitable flotilla and all kinds of water sport crafts from small sailboats, to kayaks, to speed boats, to pleasure cruisers and Boston whalers. To visit such beautiful natural surroundings in the midst of a city is quite special. It is like taking a very relaxing mini-vacation. The best part is that dogs are allowed to run free and off leash. On the beach, you will find dogs cavorting about: chasing balls and sticks. Splashing in and out of the water. Meeting and socializing everywhere between dogs and people. There are food and beverage concessions with available restrooms. It is easily accessible by bicycle, car, boat and mass transit with ample parking and regularly scheduled bus service available. You and your dog will be happy you took the time escaping the urban grind to discover this peaceful oasis nearby.

Elizaveta Zinovyeva: Great walking area, a lot of space for the dogs. It has also very nice views on the water.

Andrzej Puto: Super.

Michal Radoň: Doghie paradise lake 😏✌️

Vasile Burghelea: Wonderful location, lots of fun for dog and human alike, I wish it were a little better maintained, with garbage disposal and a place to buy refreshments nearby.

Nico Fechner: i love it

Tom Freund: Awesome place to swim with your dog!

Dog Park: what do users think?

Violeta García: Nice park for dogs. There are trees and shadows. Also some water. Place for the owners. Only missing the separation for big and small dogs. But, eh, one of the best parks in Berlin.

dan k: There were some pit-bulls today. They hunted another dog and it almost turned into a proper bloody dog fight. The owner of the victim left immediately. The pit-bulls stayed. I am not going to this dog park anymore. Lazy owners with dangerous out of control dogs go to dog parks to let them go wild. They can t do it outside of dog parks. I have seen a couple of dog fights here and I am not doing this anymore. It s a wonderful dog park, the problem are the owners that come here. this dog park is frequented by too many people who want to take a break from their underexcercised, anxiety ridden and aggressive dogs.

Kim Nana: Doggos everywhere ❤️🐕 - trees for shade - Gras and Sand - many seating areas for their humans - water from a well + buckets - secure fencing - have i mentioned the cute doggos ??

Dylan Marriott: Nice dog park inside a larger park. Has some trees and places to sit down.

Bowe Frankema: Lovely place, lovely people, lovely puppers.

αναστασια κωστη: A little bit small for big dogs but nicely made. Plus all dogs were friendly

David Granados: Nice big park with trees, concrete tubes and water for your best friend to socialize and play 🐕🐶

Paul Conrad: Great place for the pups to socialize but the dust is the worst.

Dorothée W.: Great place to let your dog play freely with other dogs. There is trees, places to sit... Perfect

Frank Masters: This is a great place for dogs to meet. Big open inner area where the dogs can run and rough house.

Hundeauslauf im Park am Gleisdreieck: what do users think?

Dylan Marriott: My dog loves going here as there’s always some other dogs to play with. It’s a bit bland, there definitely nicer dog parks around.

Roman Serazhiev: There is nothing extra on this playground: just seating place for owners.

Ruth W.: Quite small and very sandy in the summer. Almost no shade, but the convenient location and friendly dogs (and owners) that visit regularly keep us coming back.

Martín Sánchez Vivó: Could be better you water but still pretty nice place to sit down and some trees

Dmitry Dreyer: It's okay but very small size.

Chuck Long: Great place for puppy meet-n-greets.

Reem Emam: Need more facility at least a water pipe

textwriters Reisegeschichten: The Senate collects an estimated 8-10 million euros in dog tax every year. When you see this one of two "dog runs" in Kreuzberg, you can laugh or cry. One could rather call it a large kennel that was placed here without love. So small that only a few dogs fit in it - the word "outdoor" is not appropriate. The park is huge and the dog run could easily be 20 times bigger. But that is politically undesirable. This is an embarrassing idea for the green district mayor Clara Herrmann and expresses disdain for animals (and for animal lovers). Bündnis90/Die Grünen is not a party for dog owners. At least here it becomes clear.

André: Whoever planned this certainly never had a dog. Of all the user groups in the park, the not exactly small number of dog lovers were fobbed off with the worst implementation. A tiny, boring muddy area or desert of dust with a dangerous embankment to the noisy, busy long-distance railway line. Large boulders and stone banks invite the dogs to break their heads or attack each other because of the narrowness. There's no water either, just a few chained, dirty bowls. The majority of dog owners are quite nice though.

Boris: Dogs just don't belong in a city apartment. So a shame about the room. The poor animals are granted the moment.

dan k: many dogs with behavioural problems. same goes for the owners. they ll meet their pals and drink beer and smoke one cigarette after another leaving their dogs play out their most primitive inclinations. unsupervised and no responsibility taken. aggression level high. the question isnt if your dog will get bitten, the question is when. don t go here unless you re into dog fighting.

Susanne Serrano Fernandez: Actually quite nice, but increasingly aggressive atmosphere, many party people without dogs... (You are just not checked by the police there...)

Maria Schroeder: Lots of other big dogs and their owners for a chat. Always a great friend for my faithful four-legged friend.

Sheman Sait: very good

Anthony Bandolon: Nice and large dog run completely fenced in. Plenty of space to run around. Fence is only about 1 - 1.5 m tall. So of your little one is a jumper, they could easily jump over it.

Amit Kumar (EZIO): A new dog park, which opened recently. It's very clean and quiet. It's not very big compared to other dog parks in Berlin. Also the walk to the dog park thought the park is really beautiful. I would definitely recommend to try it once.

Set Aoc: It's a dog park and its in good shape. If you are passing by or a local, use it. And just remember, it's about the dog.

Francesco Gennari: Nice bust small area

Sophia Z.: The run-out area isn't great, but it's not bad either. The area is big enough and so far it has never been too crowded there. Unfortunately very dusty, more sand than meadow. But otherwise clean and pleasant dog owners with event awareness.

Mona Elisa: The outlet is less crowded than the well-known outlet in the Volkspark. The dog owners are responsible and there are three bowls that you can fill with water yourself. The only drawback are the many shards that you can now see through the many digging of the dogs, as they come to the surface.

Tender Adamant: The height of the fence is an absolute joke. Unfortunately, this means that the dog park cannot be used by large dogs who like to jump. If you have to build a fence anyway, why not a high one that makes the system suitable for all dog sizes? Were there any building regulations that only allowed a 20cm high fence? Or did someone not think about it? In any case: a shame!

Susanna Karbstein: Unfortunately no green for the animals, the owners do not keep to the leash obligation in the park. Often the droppings of the animals are simply left on the path - it's a shame it's a great park

Ines Berginski: The dog park was unfortunately not so good.

Sylvia Gunsch: Very good facility, unfortunately there is no longer a lawn. There are still dog owners who allow their dogs to run around on the lawn. That would have to punish the regulatory office more. The conversion of the Saefkowpark was a great success, sports facilities, sunbathing areas, playgrounds, table tennis tables 👍👍👍

Chiamaka Ikeanyi: A good park for relaxing and engaging in fun experiences with friends. Skaters and tennis players would have fun here; the park covers a large land mass so more space for people. Children are not left out; there are places for them to play.

AK: Lovely park, great for running in, lots of areas to so sport, like ping pong or netball, couple of smaller player areas throughout, and also has some nice water features, there's some nice views from the top of the hill. Pros- very beautiful park with lots to see and do -very large -good for sports or family activities Cons -can be quite busy at times, but there's empty space if you look

Karl Vetter: Nice park, a lot bigger than I expected. There is a restaurant there serving food and a kiosk you can get snacks and drinks. There is a kids play area as well as a beach volleyball area

Erica Trittschuh Armitage: What an incredible and large park! There are at least 3 separate playground areas (there may be more), tennis courts, basketball courts, skate park, duck pond, fountains, paths, and a cafe. One of the playgrounds had a zipline that our kids loved. Felt pretty clean and felt tucked away from all the normal tourist areas. Highly recommend a visit.

Eva Cambedda: Lovely❤️ went there for a morning run around 8am. It was full of people running, walk-ins, reading, playing with the dog, going yoga, stretching, work out ecc. Very nice atmosphere. Clean, quite, energising.

Lassi Kokko: Superb Place to visit. Very beautiful scenery and Big old trees. Also good spot to do some running because there is Hill and stairs.

Dorel Iulian Cioaca: Very nice place, many playgrounds, restaurants, ice cream shop, etc. Safety is assured, police continue to patrol the park every 15-30 minutes. A good place to be and spend quality time also for children and adults

Terence Hill: this is a very nice Park and one of the oldest public parks in Berlin. It has a few small Lakes, Mountains and some beautiful Water Fountains. The Märchenbrunnen is really beautiful and in the summer a pretty popular place to hang out. There is a path where you can jog or hike up the Mountain to get a really good view of the City below. Two small artificial mountains, which are made of demolished WWII bunkers and rubble from the ruins of buildings destroyed in the war, offer of a spectacular view of Berlin's city centre. They have become known as "Mont Klamott" and "Kleiner Bunkerberg"

Olusegun Oluwatomi: Was there for a picnic with friends Very beautiful. The fountains and statues were also beautiful. The sports side was so fun too Played basketball with my friends there.

Euge A.: Nice park with fountains, pond and lots of green area. There is also a children playground and a cafe there.

Trevor “Quickshot” Henry: My favourite dog park in Berlin, it's spacious has plenty of obstacles and areas for dogs to play as well as parking nearby. The general quality of the ground is better than most parks and not all mud.

Burak Son: One of the nicest dog parks in town. Water pump, wee bags, trash bins and high maintenance. Perfect place for little friends to spend their energy.

Justin Niemeier: Dangerous for little dogs. They can't do nothing without the annoying behaviour of gsd's, huskies and labradors. The owners are just think they're cute and did nothing but they aren't

Tim Mighty: Quiet spacious and with the ground being sand..something different.

Eugene Pustovit: Our favorite dog park in Berlin. Can be a bit difficult to get there if you don’t love nearby or don’t own a car, but your buddy will be thankful.

Jody Zonneveld: Good dog park, full of dirt but the dogs like it. Has a large water tap for the dogs and a plastic swimming pool under it :) The dog school in the park is excellent! highly recommend it.

Niklas Saari: Nice place and seems to work very nicely for the purpose. Even has an agility track! Can be muddy or slippery at times.

John-John McCann: I visited here and I don't own a dog. Just to see if dogs were happier here than being stuck in apartments. You already know the answer.

Bruno Pinheiro Guimarães: This is where the dogs that live with me go when they want to exercise, socialize or just walk around! They really enjoy it!

Carlos G. Cardenas V.: Just perfect for your dog to play

Fariba Fathi: Small but nice park, with children playground and proper chair for sitting.

Eva Kretschmar (Da Mama): Small but sweet. Nicely removed from the busy street by trees. Pretty little pond with lotus flowers

Shivansh Tyagi: Good place to take kids for an afternoon visit. There are swings, slides and trampoline to keep them occupied. Though there is a "Dogs not allowed" sign (most likely because kids tend to run after them), but people do bring their dogs.

Thomas Meyer: Ît's a nice park - especially, since they have redone the main path. It is now very smooth to ride. Beware of wild boars at night time. Very nice place for sledding in wintertime.

Jon Kernow: We did a round walk from southern end Heinrich-Laehr-Park, up through Schönower Park and crossed the road to the Schweizerhof Park and back via Leo-Baeck-Str to the Heinrich-Laehr-Park. There are a number playgrounds for different age groups and the HLP is popular with dog walkers. There are plenty of wheelchair accessible paths and benches and apart from the pond in the Schönower Park and the hill opposite the Kennedy School the walk is flat. Walk is 5km and took us 1 and half hours. The pond and playground in Schönower Park can be busy, the rest of the walk was quiet.

Marc Auf der Heyde: A really lovely spot to take a breather from busy Berlin life and distract yourself with a walk through one of Berlin's many beautiful parks! Situated just a little walk away from sbahn Zehlendorf, this is also a great place to have a picnic and bring a long the whole family for an easy going afternoon! Dog friendly!

Debrasso Magazin: Nice Park, to walk or sit and rest your thought or jog around it.

Ilaria Bultrighini: Nice place to take a stroll if the weather is clement

Evgeniy Ginzburg: nice park with small pond and playground

J.R: Very nice Park!

Zoltan Lukac: One of the nicest parks in Berlin. Small enough to feel personal, yet large enough for some nice strolls along the lake. The park has two sections, with a different feels to them. On each you will find tranquil corners to read or take a nap, with a view on the lake or hidden away. More open areas also abound, ideal for games with children or throwing around a frisbee.

Lydia Solnceva: Huge but Very tidy, and absolutely free! You can visit lots of animals or just chil out or walk around. Several food stands and entertainment possibilities are there as well.

Daisy Botha: Beautiful park with lots of entertainment for little ones. Ducks, playgrounds and dogs! Very safe so was able to let my daughter run around and explore wherever she wanted.

Urmimala Ghose: A quiet and green place you can enjoy with a group of friends or alone. There are many places to sit. You can also take a walk around the lake.I bet you'll love it! ❤

Ringoogle W.W: Nice place(especially in Summer time)for picnic, for a walk or just Chill there. There's good pizza near the park so you can take away and enjoy eating in the park :)

Lily Grigoryan: Very green, clean and nice park, makes you feel close to nature, especially with having such a beautiful sea which is indeed quite big.Became my favorite place for walks since I moved to Berlin/Charlottenburg.You can also find many people running around, exercising, playing or having picnics

Jignesh Patel: A very good place who are searching a calm and cozy place. I visited in the evening and it was a pleasant atmosphere. One can walk or jog around the lake. Also, there ia a cafeteria facing the lake.

Gertomato Kliminsky: The "Lietzensee Park" in Charlottenburg, a part of old WEST-Berlin, has an old History. For me it was a great place in my childhood in the 60s. There were not so much people as today in 2021... ;-) Anyway it is a great place in middle of a stressful city, to relax and chill, maybe swimming... ;-) Hahaha.. Nobody does today, but we did in the past and once there was a real swimming club hosted... A nice place to visit...!!!! ;-)

Tamás Bérczesi: Nice park with beautiful trees, walkways and small fields.

Alba Trigueros: My favourite spot in Charlottenburg, and one of my favourite parks in Berlin

Rollo Worstcase: Somewhat run-down park, which somehow seems carelessly designed. A few rose beds, a few benches and otherwise green space without trees. When the roses bloom, it looks quite good in parts, but not really inviting overall.

Chris P: Generally very clean and well maintained. A lot of seating. There is a large lawn between the beds. Very cozy little park. Next to it is a café.

Nestor Barbitta: Beautiful park surrounded by flowers, ideal for sunbathing and spending a summer afternoon in the middle of the city

Kelvin Pothin Wolff: People sunbathing, children playing and families relaxing. Such a good vibe!

Palash Maske: A pretty park to chill or walk around in. Nothing very fancy.

CZMaestro: Definitely not for everyone. I'd give it 5 stars for authenticity and vibe, but since it's such a specific vibe I've gotta bring it down to 4. Though all parks are technically family friendly, I'd say you'd have to have a pretty unique family to hang here with your kids. In some ways, the most Kreuzbergian park in the city. Lots of artists. Lots of drugs. Not very well kept, but still very pleasant. A really cool place to watch the sunset with friends with a pizza and some cheap drinks from the Späti. The one thing that gets to me are all the drug dealers which lurk in and around this park and position themselves in the bottlenecks where most people have to walk at some point. Just unpleasant being asked if you want drugs EVERY time you come through. But those sunsets are fantastic, and because of the big funnel in the middle of the park, you can sit in a big area with many many people and all have the same clear view of the horizon.

Stephan Struve: Nice Place. Along an former railway track. Very chill people ask over... but to much drugs

Annie Xiong: Lots of beer bottles and sketchy vibes around. I didn't feel very settled when I visited. I felt more alert and on edge. I was shouted at by a stranger when I first entered. I wouldn't go to this park again.

Alma Soleada: I don't have anything to say. I just saw that this place has 6665 reviews so I wanted to leave the 6666th. All I know about this park is that you can buy weed here, though I haven't been here yet. Peace✌🏽🇺🇦

Marcus: Nice park, busy with different people of ages and demographics. Beware of the people selling drugs on bikes.

Stephanie C: Large park with a eclectic mix - from druggies, artists, students to families with grandparents and children. Best not to cut through the park at night. Although we saw police patrolling in the day and felt safe, I can’t imagine what it’s like at night! Cute petting zoo with lots of room for the animals to roam in.

Leandro Machado (TioSolid): Great place to bring kids and family. Lots of green and open spaces where you can walk or sit and relax. They have a very nice bar in the middle of the park too. The only downside to this park is that the lighting isn't very good at night. The place is kid friendly but you will probably find lots of people smoking weed (and also selling it), so be aware of that.

Nammyoung Hong: Of course I met lots of weed dealers in this park. But they are harmless:) Still you can enjoy the nice sunset inside the green space.

Kapil Bali: Good place to have a jog, run or stretching, a big one. It has sport facilities such as tennis, athletic, football etc.. People bring their dogs for training and walk

Jamie Matthews: Beautiful and spacious park with nice bike routes as well as quite paths. The park is adjacent to a lovely community of homes. Pretty peaceful and lots of shade

Beatriz Oberlaender: It’s an amazing park! Full of nature, space for kids to run around. It also has a lake where you can swim on summer but it’s always good to go there and have a pic nic it doesn’t matter if it’s autumn cold or warm sunny spring.

Enrico Piazza: Flat out the best park in Wedding - there is space for everyone and every activity. Leave no rubbish behind, love the park! (:

nadine aust: Very large, spacious, well attended, many holes, so be careful where you enter and it is NOT fenced in. Accordingly, the dog should at least have the habit of staying nearby, the pacour itself is fun for children and dogs, even if it is a bit difficult for the larger dogs.. ..

Nana L: Is a good training option for dogs of all sizes

Andrea Hardtke: Would be great exercise for dogs without the screaming kids from kindergarten

Romeo Hermann (Mr. Wunderbar): It is so peaceful, I love this place. I almost didn’t want to leave the forest. Just stay among the trees 🌳 🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲 🌺🌺

Shannon: We take our dog here and go running here! Great all year round, and there are lots of little paths to walk along and get lost in (in a good way). There are wildschwein so be careful.

Yi WANG: Abit Gold and windy these days, good for a bike trip when the weather is bit better

David Truong: It's a really nice forest to let dogs roam. They can run and play with fellow dogs.

Sergi Kalakatl: Small forest on the back side of Tegel airport and very close to the Tegelersee

Sasa Cestar: It whas nice, now when everything is green and alive it's very relaxing. But don't be surprised with all the airplanes taking on and of because the Tegel airport is by the woods.

sammy: Watched a poetry slam here. The setting was absolutely amazing at night. The sand was a nice touch to the lake

Pascal Ferrère: A fantastic park with a dedicated area for tree-climbing. A really nice place for families.

Carlos: Also a good place for jogging during the summer time
