Koshary Lux: what do users think?

Nandi: Fun little place with flavorful dishes at a great price point. Come here for casual, street-food vibes while sitting in their bustling place. They use organic ingredients, especially for their meat dishes and have plenty of vegetarian options as well.

M Hussein: A cozy Egyptian restaurant who’s trying to offer some of the traditional, authentic dishes at the heart of the German capital. Staff are polite and friendly, but the food is not more than average. I’ve tried two different dishes, Koshary and Hawashi. The first was okay, where’s Hawashi was a horrible story, unless they’re using very good spices, the magic salad with feta and Arabic date doesn’t make any sense next to this sandwich and definitely the portion is very small for such a price.

Ranu DongraToshniwal: Amazing Egyptian restaurant!! Really really nice food!! Must try "Koshary", " Taameya Teller/Plate-- traditional food & for desserts Umm Ali "Reconstructed" & Cononut Mahalabia!! Really nice

Aviral Vaid: The place is so colorful. And the food has such amazing middle eastern/North African flavors. Highly recommended.

Simone Rezik: ...after following their Facebook page there was no question where to have dinner. 😉 ...cozy tiny restaurant with Egyptian Street food as I know it from Alexandria...for sure a must go-to in Berlin and those Tamiya were as good as mine at home, but be aware if you are hungry you need to stop afterwards at McDonald's or similar and sadly way too expensive for the poor peoples dishes. 3 tiny Tamiya with a small scoop of salad and a tiny piece of flatbread for 9,90€...well...taste was good, but for sure not again and the pricing for such dish too exaggerated. I guess they are lucky that Berlin is a big city with many tourists and inhabitants otherwise in another city there were no future for them.

Radwa: Egyptian food restaurant that reflects the restaurant owner experience for years in Egypt. I’m happy that Egyptian food inspired him to start his own business. The staff are friendly and professional. Fritz soft drinks are too small for food portions. Kebda Eskandarani is made of chicken liver not Beef liver which is definitely not a Kebda Eskandarani recipe. Don’t order chips you will be disappointed.

Gaye Gungor: Great food, warm and cozy atmosphere, great service, fresh ingredients. Michael tried to keep everything impeccable. A great little place to enjoy Egyptian and some other Middle Eastern specialties

Edyta Hetman: A nice little restaurant with Egyptian, Lebanese and other middle eastern cuisine. I especially recommend Tante Suzy's Tameya, but frankly speaking everything is delicious. Good place to visit if you're looking for vegan options, but there are meat dishes too. There's a table service, but you need to order at the bar. The staff speaks English and you can pay with card.

Ehab Ahmed: Kushary Lux is one of the best restaurants in Berlin. They are competitive and competent. The food quality is excellent and the atmosphere is vibrant and amazing. Michael and his team are doing really great job. I already became a fan for them and I will go again as many times as i can. Much love and support for you guys. I hope all the best for you ✌️❤️

Joakim Nordlund: Very good food in normal portions. Relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Meya Meya - ägyptisches Essen: what do users think?

Ahmad Gilani: Great place! I'm Egyptian and I genuinely enjoyed it not only because it's familiar, but it's also very good quality food and not greasy but light and fresh. The owners are very friendly and nice. The place opened a bit later than 12pm but I called and they opened up for us. I will come back for the Ganoush! 100% !

Fliss L: Prices are reasonably high but the quality of the food and the portion size reflects this. I really enjoyed the meat platter (17€). The hummus was amazing and so was the chicken shawarma and liver. Service is quick and friendly.

Maha Elkholy: Bad experience; the food does not taste authentic at all. As an Egyptian I know how koshary, hawawshy and kebda taste like, let me tell you this is not it. The koshary was very bland and the „big“ plate was really small! The hawawshy was ok but not great, the portion was very very small and the bread was sometimes on only one side of the meat. The kebda (chicken liver) was full of sauce and lettuce (which we Egyptians don’t include in our authentic sandwiches), the bread was very soggy and not fresh at all. I really hoped to find a good Egyptian restaurant in Berlin but I was very disappointed. Images with tissue box as size reference.

Oussama Krifa: The Kushary was sooooo good that we immediately ordered another one 😋 The “Foul” (beans) was done so well too Both me and my Egyptian friend found the Quality and the Taste waaaay better than in Egypt 🇪🇬 Finally a place to have the Egyptian food experience without a 5 hour flight ✈️

Hashem Montasser: Fantastic food, best kebda (liver) and taamiya I had in a long time. Super friendly owners ! Highly recommend + lots of vegan options including a delicious koshary !

Ahmed Medhat: I was homesick, and I am back home with the food here. The family running the restaurant is so sweet and welcoming. The food is just delicious and flavorful. i am going to be back again for sure whenever I am in Berlin.

Brianna Hansen: The food was incredible and the staff was very friendly! Could not recommend this place enough. Everything tasted amazing and was very fresh. Can’t wait to come back!

hashem omar: Met all my expectations, real authentic Egyptian food, their falafel are made the Egyptian style (with beans not Hummis), beans with Tahini was amazing. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Ismail Elshareef: I love this place! I work around the corner and I go there often. First of all, the service is consistently great and the family that runs the place is always cordial and friendly. The food is fantastic! I love their shawarma sandwich and plate. Generous portions and it tastes so good. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. Check it out.

Ömer Balyalı: Koshari (with Schawarma) is an incredibly tasty comfort-food. Nice owners.

Konrad Entner: I am happy that i found this place. Its a jewel in the dust :). Very friendly and kind owner, he's always up for a chat. The food is amazing and there are multiple vegan options. If you look for original egyptian Food (Falafel) this is the place to be!

Maciej Cyrklewicz: I'm so glad I found this place. The owner is a helpful and unbelievably kind guy, very passionate about what he's doing, he creates very friendly and joyful atmosphere. And the food. If you never had egyptian, you'll probably find it as an interesting and very delicious experience. I had the wrap with beans and it disappeared within 2 minutes ☺️ If you're wondering about visiting this place, you don't have to. Just come. You won't regret.

Jack Collins: Absolutely delicious wraps with an authentic sauces and ingredients, and very lovely staff. And fantastic baklavas! A gem of Wilmersdorf.

Paul Prime: Really good wraps! I had the one with hummus and the other with chicken. Done with love. No arguments here. Very cool guy behind the counter. Everytime I have a really interesting chat with him.

Jennifer L: Delicious food, even better owner!! He was super friendly and helpful with ordering. Got the chicken wrap with everything on it. Super well priced for everything included. We will be back!

Thomas Lokomotivé: Vegan options available. Amazing taste. The store exists for 15 years already

W C: so delicious I walked back to compliment the owner & chef. He's proud of his food and for good reason!

Tito Mbathi: The wraps are made with love. Delicious and affordable 10/10 you must try! :)

Alejandro José Niklison: Great place, great food, great service. I especially recommend the Falafels!!!

Peter Rickert: Nice guy working there. Good for lunch.

Ahmad Gilani: Super good food, huge portions, and great price! And finally, Fresh mankousha! We didn’t know how big the portions were so we ended up with a lot of food. Luckily you can pack it yourself by getting aluminum plates for take away. It was crowded and messy, but the food tasted better this way.

Luca Criscuolo: A safe bet for Middle Eastern food in Berlin. Gigantic portions, very tasty, very affordable, quality could be questioned though. The best in my opinion is the hummus, I couldn't find a better one in Berlin. The location is great, it recalls a Berlin of 20 years ago that seems to disappear.Food: 4/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

kamalita mitra: Humongous portions with cheap rates . We tried Kafta Teller , chicken sheesh Tawuk Teller and halloumi falafel Teller. All of them came with bread packets, sauces , hummus, veggies and pickles and fries. Might have to wait to get a table and food. Self service and free tea.

Loay: One of my favorite Lebanese restaurants in Berlin. What is really special here is how big their plates are at an unmatched price. Eventhough many restaurants exploited from the inflation and increased their prices, however that's not the case here. You can order manakeesh, sandwiches or huge plates. My favorite are the shish tawook and makanek. The quality and service can definitely be improved, but overall that's a great place to have a quick meal when you around the area

Måns Godee: Very busy, large portions, good prices and super food! Staff is kind but remember to bring cash, does not accept credit card. Would recommend 100%

Zhameli Khairli: The best imbiss ever and as far as I know the only one cooking fatteh. To every meal there are salat, lavash and tee for free. Prices are cheap (I was even suspicious), even for drinks. The are always lines but there are fast.

Razi Abdul Rasheed: Wonderful Falafels and Tender Schawarma. Big portions, order for -1 person. Dine in is bit chaotic during rush hours.

Karel Vařeka: Great Lebanese bistro. It is possible to dine in, but during lunch time quite busy. I got shawarma teller, take away, 7€. Very tasty, good value for money.

Nnbveh Masala: As tasty as an these years I'm coming here, prices are affordable, staff is friendly, bit it an be hard to find a table sometimes, because of it's popularity.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Sam: Amazing food very good qualityHowever very busy restaurant

Baraka - Moroccan Restaurant: what do users think?

Margarida Silva: A completely incredible dinning experience. The food was delicious and so the drinks. A lot of variety and the staff was super friendly. A must to add to your restaurant list. Also super affordable!

Lameez Subaya: This was by far our best halaal find. Their food was amazing, and their service even better. We enjoyed the vibe, the mixed vegetables, breads, sauces etc. The mint tea was the perfect end to a great evening. Sommaya our waitress was awesome, super friendly and helpful. Will recommend them no doubt.

Kamran Kareem: Awesome food and great quality. We ordered the chicken tagine platter for 2 people to share. That was a lot of food and we were completely stuffed. It’s reasonable price for the quantity of food. The ambience is traditional with fast service.

Suhaf Butt: Wonderful taste, a little crowded and service was a little slow but they made it up with the taste. The bread was amazing. Very reasonable prices and staff is cooperative. I’will definitely go here again.

Md Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury: Update: went second time, and liked it even better.Delicious food. We ordered Lamb shank and mixed grill, both were tasty. Portion good, and price is also reasonable.

Moritz Erdt: We went here because of a recommendation and really enjoyed the food a lot! We shared a platter for two and it was really delicious. A little bit of everything. Great to share and try a wide range of different dishes. The Harissa they make is super nice and spicy. Oooh so good with those Merguez. It’s also very cosy inside: you can sit on pillows on the floor. So nice. Just two minor things: please heat the place a bit. It was a bit cold for us. And maybe have a chai / tea option without rose water 👍🏻

Majid Mahmood: An amazing restaurant that specializes in Moroccan food. The chicken Tajine tasted really good with home made bread. The food is halal.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Franco Pecchio: A place with true Maroccan taste. Warm welcome, possible to have normal Western tables or Arabic tables on the floor with pillows to lay on. The easy choice are mezzas, many small bowls with traditional dishes to share. Service is quick and pays attention to your needs. The food is delicious, babaganoush and hummus were smooth with spices exalting their natural taste. We took a tagine of goat meatballs that was perfect in taste, warmth and portions (peas perfect cooked not fluffy nor hard). I would have given 5 stars to this restaurant but all the bad came in the end, when they said, "we don't accept cards, only cash". Panic! I usually carry very few cash... But then, after having demonstrated that our wallets were empty they managed to take out their pos device and let us paying with the card. Bad try.

Abdelrahman Alhato I عبدالرحمن الحتو: Very Cozy vibe .. I had falafel sandwich with Moroccan Tea (atai) .. the falafel is the same that we have in my country (jordan) with the tahini salad sauce .. I would come again to try the dishes..

Jing Wang: The lamb tajine for 2 is fine but not enough portion. And the side dishes that comes with it are just ok. I would not rate it as $ because it cost us $30 per person for dinner.

Listya Citra: I came here because it is one of most recommend halal restaurant in Berlin. I came in weekend at 2 o'clock and still packed with people. The atmosphere was fine. The service was okay. The meat was really tender, but I dont really like the rice, but it is still okay. The bread is just so so. The chips or fries was so so, but the nuggets is really delicious. The yoghurt was not really my style, too sour for me, but for some people who like yoghurt, it is worth to try. Well, the price is a little bit expensive though, but still affordable. Overall it is nice.

Arash Pourdamghani: Not really Persian food, they can not even get the Djuje right. The price is also high for the low quality food. There is also no service and you need to take your food. Not recommended at all. The time to prepare food was also relatively long.... The food was burnt and raw at the same time, giving you stomachache...

Be humble: I was suggested for this Restaurant because good food but what I saw there was a big Chaos with prices and services. First the price was not updated in Menus(In the Menu you get a price and when you like to pay there is another price). There is no recipe what you have been paid, this can cause wrong payment. Maybe you pay less or you pay more… Secondly the service was very late even I went there early to get it in time but they excused that they a have a lot of work. I asked them few times and I waited one hour to get my plate and the rice was not hot also.

Jennifer C. D.: I don't get the hype- their koobideh is good, but it's not amazing. Maybe it's a taste thing? Anyways, I would recommend future visitors to get their mint ayran and eat your food so: mesh the tomatoes while still hot, mix it with the butter, then stirr your tomato- butter mix with your rice. Minus another star for not accepting card payment (in this day and age!) and for not checking our vaccination status.

Martin Haryanto: It was a great experience to eat here, I would say it is quite cheap to eat here, we got a very big portion of a meal, but for me it is not very tasteful because it was just a rice with one type of meat and then a bit of vegetable. I dind it boring to keep eating the same taste for tge las 20ish spoon. Taste is not bad, not too great, but service is nice and place is crowded. A must try!!

Seyed Jalili: The kebab was absolutely raw in the middle and totally burnt on the outside. Chicken was marinated with tandoori powder and was sold as Persian kebab. To the owner: kebab should be cooked on charcoal fire with no flames at all otherwise the result would be what you serve to your customers. Raw in the middle burnt on the outside. So disappointed!

Mohamad Rustom: Delicious grill. Fair prices. Friendly people. Order might take a while, as place is quite busy and time to grill. Better order in advance by phone. A mix platter of 5 skewers of your choice (kabab / chops / chicken) with salad, hummus, mutabal, fries and garlic sauce for 25 Eur --> good enough for 2 (or 3 light eaters).

Itay Novik: I used to eat it about a decade ago and it was so much better. I ordered the Rind shawarma and it was one of the saddest I had in my life. The tahini was not from the best quality and way probably made with citric acid, not lemon juice, so it masked everything with a terrible artificial sour taste. The meat had no chance as it felt tasteless by itself and even watery.. Together with a very plain white rice, I left half of it behind and not because I wasn't hungry. A big disappointment from a place which used to be great.

Elizabeth King: I just ate the smallest falafel in my life, are you serious! Too bad because the taste is nice but the portion was a joke. Don't bother coming here, really unfair.

ramy rais: I went to try iranien food at El reda, it is an iranien & lebanese restaurant. I took a mix grill plate for 2 people, the meat is super good, the chicken & kebab are super juicy but the lamb was ok. They also give rice and a very spicy sauce. I would say it is ok, the meat was good, but i would eat only the meat, the rice is just plain white rice nothing special about it.

Ula Pecnik: Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, flavorful food - epic mezze, especially love black tiger prawns (Gambari). It felt like we were in some Middle East country. Would recommend it!

Mert: Food was delicious and filling. Haven’t experienced any issue with the service, service was decent. Overall ambience of the restaurant was pleasing and watching a belly dance show while having dinner is not an easy thing to find in Europe

Noor jawad: Nice atmosphere, service is a little slow on the weekends but staff is super friendly 💕 food is GOOD

Reza Amirian: When i was there i didn't feel i am in Germany i felt I am in one of the Arabic country and the Shisha was professional and tasty the person make the Shisha he is Master I love him❤

Eva: Great cosy atmosphere.Great belly dancers and music.Great mezze plate and mint tea.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Heiner Kirchhoffer: Very nice location. Hummus was good, the pita bread was excellent. Chicken and minced meat skewers were a bit overcooked and almost dry but still OK. The homemade lemonade was very tasty.

yuval avargil: We came for the second time here. The first time was some 8 years ago, and we liked the concept of oriental food, music and belly dancing (Friday +Saturday) and wanted to enjoy again. We were a bit disappointed- the overall experience wasn’t upgraded- especially the food!. I love the Mediterranean and arabic food and the outcome can be much much better than what you get here. The food is simply not done correctly and finely as it should . The food is mediocre and damages the unique experience that this restaurant can give. The place is noisy ( I’ve been on Friday…) due to a party that is conducted on a half of ghe restaurant- so don’t expect on the weekend a quiet evening…even the waiters are loudly talking with the bar instead of approaching and talking quietly…when we arrive at the restaurant the porters outside saw that it was a bit raining on us waiting and had a conversation too long careless about the customers waiting… I can summarise that the experience here is missed due to a bad conduct of the place in overall.

Aya Boudaka: We called to reserve a table for 7 ppl, so they asked how many of us are men and how many are women 🌚 So i answered that were 3 women and 4 men but then i felt weird and i asked why is this important to know? He replied because they won't allow a group of only men or men only with just a girl. When i asked for more explanation he got impatient and said that they're overbooked for today bye! 🙂🙃 What a shame.. to be in berlin and discriminate like that because what would it be if we had trans people in our group?! 🌚

Mahdiyeh: Tasty sweets and good shisha. I liked the atmosphere. Just music sucks for a long time. Update: less stars. Because they force customers to be there on Fridays or Saturdays evening just for two hours. They didn't tell me when I wanted to reserve a table per telephone. Food was not that much good. Just Shisha!

Lucas Kytösaari: Extremely good guality food, with lots of different taste and herbs/aromatics. This food was surprisingly good and the music and mood was great inside the place. I will come back to this place when i visit germany next time. Sorry if i misspelled anytjing im from finland.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Malakeh Restaurant: what do users think?

Farhad Varzandeh: We chose Malakeh restaurant based on its high reviews on google and we are absolutely happy about our choice for my wife's birthday. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are amazing, polite, super nice and helpful, everything we ordered was fantastic and tasty and all in all we had a perfect experience. Totally recommend. They even gave the tea on the house because of my wife's birthday.

Frederico Schmaltz: The experience was quite pleasant. The dishes were satiating and satisfying. The portions were on the advantageous side. Be aware that it reflects on the bill, but it is still as affordable as other berliner restaurants. It is a nice place to try new food and come back for come comfort food. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The ambiance is cozy and it feels like you’re having dinner at a friend’s place.

Justyna Komuda: Good food but definitely to expensive. I think that prices like 16-20 Euro in Berlin are just simply not fair. I enjoyed the most salad with those crunchy crisps on top.

Ridwan Bhuiyan: My mix appetizer was very good, however my lentil and pasta soup was served to me in a glass storage container, which did not match the elegence of the other plates. My Meklubeh (beef and rice) dish was amazing though and distracted from the cold soup.

Faika A: We went on purpose to the area just to try their food as many people recommended them. The food was amazing!!!! 10/10 Real Syrian food with a great service. Very friendly staff, clean and great deco.

Ahmad Ghazi: This was a very nice experience. The food was amazing. I came here because this place was recommended as a place that is quite authentic. A well-deserved experience.Highly recommend.

Amal Abdulla: We had no prior knowledge of the restaurant and went to the area specifically for Malakeh based on a quick online search. We were not disappointed at all with the quality of the food and the hospitality of the restaurant’s staff. The food is authentic in flavor and is cooked to perfection. We loved that it was served fresh and warm with very nice presentation. The quantity of the food we ordered was perfect for two very hungry people, it was very satisfying. We also loved the decor of the restaurant, it's a very nice, clean and spacious place with symbols of Syrian culture which took me back to many childhood memories. In all, we were very happy with our experience and will definitely be recommending the restaurant to friends and family. Best of luck Malakeh!

Ahmad Joehnny: Best Syrian food in Berlin hands down! Fast polite service, amazing tasty food I’m grateful they exist. Music is a bit annoying if you’re not into it as the food was perfect

EMAD EDDIN FAKHR EDDIN: I like the concept of the restaurant (syrian traditional home food). Most of the dishes we tried were delicious and reflect the traditional syrian food. However, the appetizers are on the same quality level of the main dishes. plus, the prices are exagerated.

Sindhu Soman John: AMAZING PLACE!! A must try in Berlin with excellent food. Love the ambience. Love the food. Love the service. Food - 5/5. Apparently they serve different mains on different days, so always a reason to go back!! Starters: Kibbeh - 4/5. Amazing taste but a bit dry. Chicken breast stuffed with corn and cheese - 6/5. This was an impulse buy but soo soo good. Mains: Oriental Chicken with rice - flavourful without being spicy. 5/5 Spiced rice with lamb - 6/5. Loved this dish. Will go back just for this!! Drinks: NO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AVAILABLE. Syrian Coffee - Black coffee spiced with fragrant cardamom with no sugar or milk. Perfect ending to a meal. But maybe not for you if you don't like black coffe Ambience - 5/5. Authentic Middle Eastern vibes. Service - 5/5. Friendly service. They were quite busy ( busiest place on the street) and I thought they were late in getting the menu. But they provide you with a tablet that shows the days specific meals and we can order from the table. They let us know that coffee would be delayed which I appreciated. Overall, I'll be sure to go again!

LAWRENCE berlin mitte: what do users think?

Harvey Mushman: We had a nice dinner at Lawrence. The food is delicious and they have a wide variety of flavors from Lebanon & Syria. The hummus with spinach is creamy and tasty. The ambiance is charming and the choice of music is calm and non intrusive. You can have a quiet conversation. The staff is super friendly and happy to answer your questions. If you’re in Berlin, give it a try.

Harmen: Stumbled upon this place by accident after a long day visiting museums and sights in Berlin, expecting nothing. To our surprise, we found a gem of a restaurant. We had chicken filled with figs and pistachio's, and lamb with cashew and peas. Both were really flavourful and perfectly tender (especially tricky with lamb!). Apart from that, the service was excellent and the restaurant looked nice and clean. If we had discovered this place earlier, we might have went there every day of our trip. Special thanks to the host, who found a seat for us despite the restaurant being fully booked. The two of us were allowed to sit for 45 minutes at a huge table reserved for a big party later on, but we never felt rushed and I think we stayed for almost an hour. Service was quick enough to facilitate a relaxed meal despite a smaller time window. If I'm ever in Berlin again, I will make sure to eat at Lawrence.

Arief Sari: Last time I ate here for my friend wedding. She made Reservation here coz this place was where she had her first date with her husband. That means the atmosphere here is really nice. They had also good food for middle east flavor. The Service was also ok. But what I didn't like was, they need alot of time to serve our orders. And my order came too late. All of my friends have already finished eating, than come my order. I felt not so good to eat alone after all of them finish eating. But it could happen, right 😌

Jemma McCreesh: Beautiful restaurant and fantastic food ! The staff were really friendly and helped us choose lovely dishes, which were all extremely tasty.

Kevin Vanegas: Lawrence is a fantastic restaurant that serve truly amazing Arabic food. I personally love their Arab Dish which is pictured below. The ambience is great and the staff is very helpful as well.

Sylke Krämer: Great food that was fresh, homely and simply delicious. I’ll be back on my next trip to Berlin.

GREYGOD13: Hi my name is Lewis, me and my partner visited Berlin a few days ago and we came across this little quirky restaurant and it was one of the best finds we ever made! The service was unreal! The owner/manager were an absolute delight, really nice person and outstanding service! The bartender was also a true delight! Really polite and friendly! The drinks were amazing and the food was outstanding! Definitely one of the highlights of our vacation and I will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends back in the UK!

Ikram Ais: This is one of the best Arabic restaurants in Berlin. I highly recommend it to individuals wanting to explore the cuisine of the Middle East. They had a variety of dishes and beverages that tasted really really good! The food is very high quality and the staff are super warm and friendly. The design is also cozy and impressive. It makes you feel like you are inside an Arabic warm home. They also have a very interesting collection of art pieces inside. As an Arab myself, I highly recommend this place!! Don’t miss the chance of going there!

Able D. Paryon: Good balance in terms of price and quality. Staff makes a good impression. Polity, friendly, quick while the restaurant was full. The restaurant itself got decorated from somebody who know what there are doing. Would recommend others to enjoy a good meal there.

Yahya Dodin: They have a delicious version of Makloobah (either vegetarian or with meat), with a joghurt-cucumber dip. I tried the Beirut Beer, but it was no match for western variants, but trust me on the Makloobah! 👍

Disht Advani: Very authentic Arabic cuisine in the heart of the city. Definitely a visit (however remember to carry cash as it is a cash only Restaurant). Platters (tellers) are very tasty and cost between 6 and 8 euros. Look forward to dining here again. Vegetarian options: Falafel , Hummus , Veg salad

Amna pp: Delicious falafel wrap with tabule salad which cost me 4 euros only ( as on 2022). The staff is also super friendly! Highly recommend Super cheap! Delicious and comfortable vibe
Response: Thanks, anytime again

Irina Dimova: Worth a try, I recommend👌🏽Authentic food is better than in a restaurant. The meat is one of the best, but the falafel is a bit dry.I will take again 💯

DeanRobert Robert: Really fresh and tasty..... if you don't get a table at bable this is very close and just as good. Kofta tastes homemade.

S James: Best falafels I’ve had yet. The food is always fresh, hot and mind numbingly delicious. Big portions too. Great shawarma, kofte and sucuk as well. Try the oriental platter for a mix of all 3.

Loay: One of the most authentic Lebanese restaurants in this area in Berlin! Small and cozy, comfortable arabic seating style which I loved! Ordered a mixed plate for two people for me and my girlfriend, it was huge I could barely finish it! It was very delicious and had many varieties from chicken shawerma, kafta and fried vegetables and hummus and more! A must try!
Response: Hey, you

drito konj: I've been coming here for a little under 2 months now and this is officially my favorite Arabic place in town. Great food, nice staff, and when they recognize you as a regular, sometimes you get a piece of Haloumi on the side for free 😁 It's very affordable and just...tasty. Oh, and the coffee is very good, unlike in 97% of Berlin.

S: The best restaurant/joint of its kind in Berlin; ’Lebanese/Arabic Fast Food’! Incredible flavours, lovely fresh produce and at an amazing price. Had the veggie plate for two with roasted or deep-fried veggies, hummus, falafel and halloumi. Very comforting! Will be back.

Mohit Nalavadi: I come here a lot (once every few months over the last few years) and it’s a good PQR (price to quality ratio). However, the reason for this review is [REDACTED]

Mark Gulati: I used to come here quite regularly, always good and tasty food. However I just came after a couple of years, and felt that the quality has gone down. I was a sit-down customer and ordered at the counter but wasn't asked what sauces I wanted, and in the wrap itself I couldn't taste much of the Falafel, and the Schawarma was a little burnt. Sad because it was one of my favorite places in the area. They were churning out the delivery orders though.

Cana Restaurant & Catering: what do users think?

Dale Buchanan (buckylovin): The best hummus I’ve ever tasted! Well maintained restaurant with high quality decor. Lots of options on the menu to suit all dietary requirements. Lamb was cooked to perfection. Service was a little slow to come and rushed when it was there but not enough to mark down (also there was a large party in so pretty busy).

Marah Maintz: Went there twice in my three day Berlin trip just because the food was so good. Even if you’re unfamiliar with the Arabic cuisine you can find something you like. The food is clearly fresh made and service is en incredibly quick (<10 min). The staff is super nice and there is no trouble with communicating even with tourists. Really recommend going here and ordering the fresh Limonada with your food! :)

Ahmed Basha: Classy and elegant restaurant. Food is really delicious with good portions. Prices are good compared to the restaurant level. The restaurant provides great Arabian food (Palestinian). They offer great open buffet during the Mittagspause (12:00 - 15:00) for only €7,50.

Praveen Mehrotra: Loved the food from this restaurant. It’s location by the side of the canal is excellent. The indoor sitting arrangement is also good. Their meal options are excellent. Considering location ambiance and taste the rates are reasonable. The entry is from canal side.

Wonder Marinero: I had a Mediterranean menu (25€ option with the beef. It came with 3 meze starters, meet kebab, and a cake (which is of a poor quality). The quality of the meal was 3*, but with the combination of a very nice service I decided to rate this experience with 4*. Ps. I definitely find meze their best dish.

Fra Ma: The brunch was nice, there's a discrete selection of food, a few cakes and some fruits. It's a cosy and pleasant place with a good service. Minus one star as the food eg falafel were cold. Overall we were not thrilled this time but we might visit it again and hopefully add the missing star.

Same Mehmari: Food is delicious! And for a reasonable price... Service is great, the staff is super friendly! Great experience!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

R GR: Great food, super service. I can highly recommend the round table for team events.

Shahab Nian: For a vegan/vegetarian it's alright and wouldn't recommend it (the food in the photo costs €13.90)But if you eat meat, you'll get pretty good dish.

Khansa Rekik: The vibe is very nice, the staff is extremely friendly and most importantly the food is amazing, we have tried the Mansaf with lamb and the couscous, they were delicious.

Nino: Good food and good service. Mahmoud is a very happy person, he gives good service and you can really tell that he loves his job. We will absolutely come back here again. The prices are good, the food is tasty! 👌

Syed Murad: I had the keffta kebab grill. It was awesome. The family was with me and they all enjoyed the food thoroughly. The service by Mahmood was extremely friendly and quick. Highly recommend this restaurant. Good value for money⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rahaf Walid: The food is delivered fast, big portions and i couldn't complete all the plate but the potatoes are very greasy and it's a bit too much, the plate idea is nice but putting everything on top of each other is what i didn't like. The garlic sauce is not good at all but hummus was really good. It's cheap tho it was 5.80 £ Close to the u bahn

Alex Teo: One of the best Shawarma Telar I have ever had. The owner is super patient and friendly. And the portion is big and reasonably priced. I strongly recommend this place. This place is also within walking distance to Checkpoint Charlie and Jewish Museum, and so you can swing by here for a quick delicious bite without burning a hole in your pocket, and proceed to your next destination after going to the two attractions.

Yana Siao: Great food and big portions. Staff is really friendly and speak English.Really recommend to order a mixed plate for 10€.

ryan fell: Really friendly guy, didn't speak much English, we don't speak much German but figured it out, fresh cooked meats and great salad, loved it !

Kuntal Ganguly: Falafel teller sehr lecker and fresh..Food quality and service very good... Overall the place was ambient and not too noisy.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Bianka Réka Rácz: Great falafel, nice shawarma and the toumi souce is the best I have tried so far! The mix teller is so huge, that it can feed 2 persons, if you are not that hungry. The chef was also super friendly!

Polopolik: Delicious shawarma sandwich, although it would be nice if they let us choose which vegetables or sauce we want, instead of putting everything in.

Sadik Ekin Özbay: Good place. The food is delivered quite fast. The price was reasonable.

Tiba: what do users think?

A J Berlin: Food is excellent. Always fresh and affordable. There’s lots of places heralded as ‘the best in Berlin’ but if you want great schwarma, you have to eat where the locals eat. And this is where they eat. These guys know what they’re doing and the place is practically an institution on this part of Karl Marx Straße. If you catch it when the owner is working, you’re in for a treat of good humoured, caring service. They have a little bit of competition now with the Syrian place next door (also excellent) but their hallumi just nudges it ahead.

Mo Si: I am a regular customer at Tiba. The food is amazing a veeeery tasty but the service could be waay better (they mix up orders sometimes and one of the cashiers gave me the wrong change a few times). Apart from that I think that it's one of the best middle Eastern restaurants in neukölln!Food: 5/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Andreas Svennefiord: One of the best falafel places in neukolln. Service is always friendly and the portions are big and reasonably priced. Love this spot!

Zubaer Ahmad: One of the best place to have kebabs in this area. Price is also very reasonable.

Abdulla Hawara: Super tasty food (Kibbeh Lapannieh), friendly staff. The food came a little late but it was worth it. I'd absolutely come back again.

Has: I am simply amazed by the taste, variety and the aroma....Priced reasonable too...

Klaus Dietz: Amazing middle eastern food. The hummus is delicious and the portions are enormous. Must try!

Nicolas Balcazar: Saved us hungry souls wondering through Neukölln. 5 stars for being one of the few open places at midnight, minus one star for adding tomatoes to my schawarma when I said 3 times no tomatoes please.

Vahid Nikpouya: They are kind and polite. The portion of food worth the price.

Annett Forcier: Best Halloumi & Schawarma Falafel I ever had!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Gábor Kelemen: The food and the service are in align with the reviews, there is no doubt about it. First of all, the place is super clean. The waiter was super helpful and friendly towards us. We took the grilled lamb filet and we would choose it again and again. Same applies to the soup and the mixed mezze.

Shafaq Kazmi: The food, ambiance and service are amazing. The portion size of the food is so big and the salad served is absolutely delicious - The staff is very friendly and also speaks English

sonam bali: It was nice. Really like the combination of Lentil soup with deep fried bread. My husband loved his chicken ,if roasted were warm then meal could have been perfect

Jeanette Cruz: Food flavor was very good. The chicken taouk was cooked perfectly. The salad that came with the meal (pictured) was very good. Service was very friendly. I was happy with my meal but I agree with the other reviews that the food is overpriced. Of course I noticed this before ordering but was too tired to go anywhere else. Better than 4/5, more accurately 4.5/5.

Nandita Sureka: Amazing food and really friendly staff. Our server was very patient and polite and funny! Food was fresh and flavourful! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Polina (Intrafinder): Amazing drinks and food, the lamb was very tasty! The staff work is amazing, they constantly showed attention to us and everything was just super! I'll be back with pleasure!

Thomas Rainbolt: Very very friendly staff, very generous food with extremely authentic cuisine. Delicious taste of Lebanon for those who are in Berlin and looking for a little bit of adventure. They even complimented me on my German speaking skills, so that was an added bonus!

Alex Chew: Ordered the warm mezze platter for two and it was the perfect amount of food to split between us!! Also a glorious combination of all different kinds of food. We LOVED the red sauce that comes with the dish, I think they told us it was some kind of paprika sauce?? It was delicious 😩 If you come here, I would recommend pairing this dish with a salad, but I have no complaints about it whatsoever.

David Hollis: This was right next to our apartment so we went in on our last night in Berlin. Good lively atmosphere and staff friendly. Food was very nice. My son pronounced the striploin steak the best he had ever had in a restaurant. The mixed platter for 2 was good and the Lebanese red wine went well with it all. An enjoyable meal to end our trip to Berlin

Michael Zetzmann: Very delicious food and very nice and polite staff.

Martin Kersten: Would like to give 4,5 stars: the portions are definitely worth their money. Great quality of food, the sauces are the highlight. The bread is not my personal favourite. Even in stressful situations the owner keeps calm and super friendly.I highly recommend this place!

Christian: If you're in the area, definitely go eat here! Super tasty and mega cheap 🤤🤤☺️

Nils Berthelin: Wonderful little hole in the wall. You can believe the hype. It is inexpensive, fresh and really good! I had the mixed plate and loved it. Cauliflower sauce, hot sauce, falafel, haloumi eggplant vegetables and awesome hummus! Meat was good too. Really worth the detour if you are in Berlin.

seb A: Self-made falafel compared to the other looneys that use frozen falafel. Owner is very polite and service-minded. It is also surprisingly cheap for the quality of falafel you get. So far, one of the best places for tasty falafel in Wedding. Keep up the good work!

Harris Roberts: Best falafel, fair prices, friendly service, home-made sauces.

Sebastiano Catellani: The mix teller was amazing. Everything was really good, the hummus super creamy and delicate, the falafel crispy outside and creamy and moist inside. Very recommended!

Julia Kramer: Love this place 💖 I strongly recommend the Makkali dish, especially vegan (without the garlic and joghurt sauces) and with extra hummus. They have one of the best hummus ever!

Lorenz Chua: This place has the best take outs ever! I’m a fan of their falafel im brot. I take it every time I have the urge to treat myself. I also dream about them sometimes. Made fresh to order! Eat it in the shop or to go, it doesn’t matter. Give it a go and I swear you won’t regret it.

Davi Nascimento de Paula: This is one of the best places for falafel, shawarma and halloumi sandwiches in Berlin. It's very cheap and the food is delicious. Don't forget to order extra hummus, it takes the sandwiches to the next level. The staff is efficient and I've never had to wait so much even if the place was crowded.

Nisha Katti: Obsessed with the flavors bursting out of the food here!! Also, the price cannot be beat. They have a recently redone indoor space with 3-4 small tables so you can sit indoors if you want. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!
