Guitar Lessons Friedrichshain Kreuzberg - Tal Yadin: what do users think?

Idan Perry: Tal is such an amazing teacher! He's always aware, and he knows exactly what you need in order to get your playing to the next level the most efficient way, using various impressive methods. I can most definitely say that I've seen tremendous progress with my playing thanks to Tal! Moreover, he's such a great guy and the lessons are always super fun with great vibes and an incredible atmosphere! Highly recommended!
Response: Thanks Idan 🧡🎶

Amir Ouakour: I've been taking lessons with Tal since about 1 year and a half. What I like about his lessons is that they are relaxed. The practice is usually oriented by what I would like to play or learn unless I am out of inspiration. The results are amazing and my playing improves drastically. I could also, thanks to Tal, play in a band, which I've never thought I'll do. Moreover, he is a friendly guy and an amazing musician.
Response: Thanks Amir!

Michael Shepherd: Tal Yadin is not only an amazing guitarist and musician but also a very thoughtful and concise teacher. He is able to take complex concepts and break them down into simple terms to help you understand. Tal has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to mastering the guitar wether it’s learning songs, understanding the fretboard, music theory or advanced techniques and concepts. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons with Tal, he is always welcoming and friendly and it’s always a pleasure to play and learn music with him.
Response: Thanks for the lovely words, Michael, it means a lot to me!

T Finnis: My son has been learning with Tal for two years, and his progress has been impressive. Moreover, he has had a great deal of fun covering various styles and techniques, so much so that we rarely have to encourage him to practice. I can say with confidence that Tal is a great teacher, very relaxed, very constant, always dependable and entirely trustworthy. The real deal.
Response: Thank you Tom, I appreciate it!

Jina Kim: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI've been learning from Tal for about 3 months now. Learning from Tal is always a delight, since he's very patient but also flexible, suggesting new playing methods if I can't play something. I've been learning new methods every time and super happy with his class! I would recommend him to anyone :)
Response: Thanks Jina for this lovely review!

Ekene Aina: I have been learning to play acoustic guitar with Tal, weekly, for almost two years. Starting out as a complete beginner, my aim was to be able to play certain songs (different genres) within a certain time frame. From the outset, Tal’s calm, encouraging approach built confidence and ability. He is able to adapt if he sees me struggling and teach me using different techniques for theory and practical. Also very impressive watching his mind work to breakdown technique for learning and he gives homework too! Lessons are always friendly and he offers a choice of two convenient locations. He is innovative and readily incorporates technology, even switching to video lessons to offer a means for lessons to continue during the COVID-19 measures, with video recordings and sheets shared after each class. I’m now able to pick up songs on my own, using what I have learnt, play and sing along too. I am happy to continue learning with Tal and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn or improve on the guitar.
Response: Thanks for the lovely review, Ekene!

Anastasiia Zavalkina: I can highly recommend Tal to anyone looking for a patient and supportive guitar tutor. Guitar was always something I start then finish and forget about and now after half a year it became a nice habit. The lessons are relaxed but very productive. I feel I am learning to enjoy playing the instrument rather than just concentrating on technical skills, which I think was the issue why I couldn't play before:)
Response: Thank you for the words!

Matej Miksik: Tal is a great teacher, always in a good mood, patient and supportive. I feel like I am getting better with every guitar lesson. I definitely recommend him!
Response: Thanks Matej!!

Banu Taban: I think Tal is a great teacher who can explain complex techniques and theory very clearly. He is also paying a lot of attention into detail and this helps you grow as a player and musician.
Response: Thanks for this great review Banu!

Eden Cami: Tal Yadin is an attentive, very dedicated, teacher that tailers the teaching and each specific lesson to your needs and interests. taking lessons with him is a pleasant motivating experiencing. Highly recommended.

Jazz Gitarre Unterricht Jazz Guitar Lessons Berlin: what do users think?

JuPa Himan: Tina has comprehensive methods for beginning up to advanced players and helps you finding the approach that fits your needs and ability in a professional manner.
Response: thank you!!

Kolja Möller: Tina is a fantastic teacher. Her teaching approach relies on state-of-the-art music pedagogy and focuses on building 'musicality' through the conscious appropriation of melody and rhythm. I enjoy working with her and learned a lot (in my case: jazz).

Susanne Partoll: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueTina has a great sense of humour and knowledge of music/ jazz theory. We play jazz standards (comping, melody, improvisation) and analyze them, theory is broken down into digestable pieces. I am very happy to have found her!
Response: Thank You Susanne :)

Christian Checa: Tina is just awesome! She is very welcoming, and her classes are fun, inspiring, and revealing. A must for any guitar player in search of improvement!

Curth Moritz Voß: Tina is not only an excellent guitarist, but also a very good teacher. The word "teacher" is actually the wrong term. Because it directly evokes associations with the school. That's definitely not how teaching is done. Tina teaches with a lot of humor and responded to my individual wishes and learning goals. I bought a ticket for ten lessons from her. My specific learning goal was to master at least one jazz standard in such a way that I could understand its structure and be able to improvise with confidence. We achieved that in ten hours using the Lady Bird standard. In addition, we went through the standards "A Night in Tunisia" and "'Round Midnight". Tina keeps a record of what was covered in each lesson. In this way, she builds up the lessons consistently and didactically in a meaningful way. In addition to scales and the corresponding fingerings, chords (shell voicings) and their structure, timing exercises were also part of the lesson content. Tina also gives very valuable tips on how to practice at home in a time-effective manner. That definitely got me further. In addition, Tina organized her own audition for the students. A good opportunity to try out the newly learned skills “live”. Overall, I recommend Tina as a guitar teacher without reservation. For me it was very worth it!

Hanna Tillmann: Tina's classes are great. With humor and a lot of experience, Tina makes the lessons varied and always conveys joy and enthusiasm for music and making music. She responds attentively and openly to individual wishes and uses appropriate exercises to improve playing technique. Only to be recommended!
Response: thanks Hannah :)

Michael1015 Berlin: Great lessons for jazz guitar! As an advanced beginner in this field, I sometimes run the risk of getting lost in the unmanageable amount of basics (harmony, scales, arpeggios, chords, rhythm). Tina helps me with orientation and very good feedback. As a student, she has what it takes to analyze my game in a helpful way and to give appreciative feedback that makes me feel that I am well perceived. So that it motivates me well to learn a lot of songs and helps me to interact with others. In addition, the lessons with her are usually funny too - I really appreciate such a lightness, especially with the often cerebral, heavy subject of jazz. You can get an impression of their style in their YouTube videos.
Response: thanks Klaus! That pleases me!

Wladimir Kramer: Tina is a very good teacher. For me as a beginner, it was very helpful that she went into detail about the playing technique (e.g. picking/plucking the strings) and rhythm during the lesson and continues to do so. The exercises for at home (also with suitable reading recommendations, helpful apps, etc.) are clear and useful. Above all, the lessons are a lot of fun :)
Response: Thank you Wladi :)

Gitarrenunterricht Berlin: what do users think?

BajoGroundProdz: I took some classes to improve my guitar skills for my production job, and it was one of the best decisions ever. Very dynamic and fun classes where you actually learn a lot, and if you're stuck with something, Cesar is patient enough to help you get out of that state. Totally recommended.

Nicolas Gagliardi: Not only a great guitarrist, he is professional and responsible. I highly recommend Cess if what you are looking for is a sound of your own.

Notum Notum: Cesar is an amazing teacher, and all around great guy, I'm learning a lot from him!

Emiliano eme: 5/5 perfect. I'd like to point out the good personal treat, and the way of keep the classes interesting, which is where others had failed in my personal experience.

Patricio Vallarino: Positive: ProfessionalismTalented musician and amazing professor!

Nicolas Buenaventura: The best!

Nina Stommen: Best guitar teacher! I, unmusical and without instrumental experience, now not only understand the structure of pieces of music, but can also put what I have learned into practice. Cesar gave me a solid theoretical basis and continues to challenge me to leave my comfort zone. I can recommend his lessons to every beginner and advanced learner.

Cartman Coon: Great teacher! No matter which genre you want to play (whether jazz, classical or metal), this teacher has experience in every genre and can pass it on perfectly :) Just great!

MartinP: great guitar teacher, am super satisfied! Total recommendation no matter what level you are

Bendor Blackbard: My new favorite instrument store in Germany! They have an amazing variety of fine instruments, even the only place to find a Master-Grade locally made high end electric guitars! Better than many famous American brands. Highly recommended!! 😍 Really Fair Prices and professional, kind and friendly service!
Response: Hey thanks for the great review. We love to get positive feedback. And we do try hard.

emilie vestergård: Wonderfull shop with great service. The owner was obviously enjoying what he did, and open and honest towards costumers. He was good at recommending guitars, gave a fair price, leading to us leaving with more than anticipated. Nice selection and definitely worth a visit.
Response: Thank you for the super positive rating. In fact, I enjoy working with nice people.

Yash Sarkheliya: Most recommended store in berlin for guitar. The person was really nice to me and provides a good service. He guided me a lot to buy a guitar which fits best in my budget. And i am happy by his suggestions. Must visit.
Response: Thanks for the positive feedback. We enjoy working together with nice peope.

Josh Little: Called all over town looking for a shop that would repair my wah pedal. After calling five different major stores I came across Berlin Guitars who said I could just swing by and they‘ll have a look at it. 2 minutes after walking in it was fixed! Very friendly, laid back, and knowledgeable staff with a great sense of humor. I can‘t recommend them enough
Response: Thank you for the positive and funny feedback. We like doing our job.

TNMB: Visiting Germany from the states, and we had some time to spare. My brother and our friend went to go look at some shops, saw the great reviews and decided to visit. My friend ending up buying a travel guitar, thanks for the great time Leo.
Response: Thanks for coming in and the positive feedback.

Ciel Phantomhive: This is the best guitar store in the whole frickin world! The personal is very nice and if you have problems with you're guitar go there even if you live in I don't know where go here. Best store I've been in a long time. 11 out of 5 very good.
Response: Hey thanks for the super review and feedback. We love what we do.

Fernanda Lutteroth: Great service by Leo! Just bought a classical guitar that I really like, he helped me find the best fit for me. I recommend this place.
Response: Thanks a lot. I really enjoy nice people and to help them find the right guitar.

Rasmus Bonde: Service was amazing and I had a great experience all round. I’m in Berlin just for the week and decided that I wanted a little souvenirer to take Home. Came in wanting just a delay pedal But came out with the best western guitar I’ve ever played for a very fine Price.
Response: Thank you for the positive feedback.

N.S.: The bad reviews for this shop must come from someone whose dog stepped on a bee (oh, hi Amber!!) Leo, the owner, was lovely, straightforward and very attentive to what I needed. He left me the time to try all the instruments we both found potentially suitable for me, but I have to say he had already seen through me the moment I entered the room. I ended up leaving with a guitar that I have a strong feeling I will be in love with for a very long time. Excellent craftmanship, very honest price for the quality. Leo is not afraid to tell you what it's worthy and what it's not. I also ended up leaving with some sehnsucht, and wanting to come back and just sit and listen while the magic happens in this little corner of joy! I'm from Italy, i'm positive I'll back soon for more. All the best to you guys! Nina :)
Response: Thanks for the kind words and positive feedback. We like what we do. With nice people its makes it then more rewarding. Have fun with your amazing Veelah Guitar.

Marta Topferova: Wonderful store, guitar servicing and very friendly staff that goes the extra mile to help out! Highly recommended!
Response: Thank you for the nice review. We like our job and it's fun with nice people.

Guitar & Music Lessons//Jazz, Blues & more: what do users think?

Melanie “ilement” Mamojka: Tom is a great guitar teacher! For teaching an instrument you really have to have the didactic skills, too besides the musical and Tom has them both, definitely! I loved going to his class, he was always open for songs that I've wanted to learn but also brought some into class that he thought I would enjoy or which would develop my guitar skills. He goes by your own pace, is very patient, chilled and a very kind human being on top of that, too! I am very grateful for what he taught me!
Response: Thanks so much Melanie! It was a pleasure. I wish you the best in all your endeavours.

Maria Kurday: For several months I have been learning to play the guitar with Tom and liked it a lot! We learned to play some of my favorite songs together, focusing on gradually improving the quality of sound and learning different styles. As a person who used to learn academic piano (and has given up eventually) I really liked the format of the lessons - more like jam sessions rather then formal lessons, which was great after intensive work days. We also covered some of useful guitar theory. I think Tom is a great teacher who can figure out an individual learning path for each student with or without experience. I had to drop out because of the job, frequent trips and new semester, but I’d definitely continue learning otherwise.

Michael Conrads: I´ve been taking classes with Tom now for over three years. I started with the aim to being able to improvise and solo on guitar. He introduced me to the basic common song structures (that I didn't know at that time), taught me about phrasing, lead notes, and many more concepts that really helped me to improve and take my playing further. Usually there is a new song every lesson that we talk through and play, so also I learned some cool songs on the way, which he always picks adequately. Also if you wish to learn a certain song Tom doesn't bother to transcribe it for you. Meanwhile I dare to play solo on the street, I played guitar in a Theatre piece and join a band collective which is more than I dreamed of when I started. Tom is always friendly and cheerful, calm and focused. If you bring those qualities (or at least the last one ;) I'm sure you'll match and learn a lot. Of course I prefer live classes, but zoom classes also work very well, in case it's pandemic or you aren't living in Berlin.

Alma Klemm: The best guitar teacher in Berlin! Coming up with ideas and helping to focus goals! I know so many great new songs since i started about a year ago and worked pretty fast on developing my technique with him. He's so nice and fun! Thanks Tom!

Valentin Lubberger: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueTom is a competent and empathic guitar teacher and a very nice person and I totally recommend his lessons.
Response: Thanks so much for your kind words Valentin, it has been a pleasure to be your guitar teacher!

Massimo Rodari: Tom's guitar lessons are absolutely TOP!!! . He is a very kind and patient teacher. I always go home with new ideas and suggestions.... LET IT ROCK FOLKS!!!
Response: Thanks so much for your kind words! It has been a great pleasure to be your guitar teacher Massimo.

Mateo WW: Herr Haages guitar lessons are very fun and informative, my technique is getting better and I am learning more than I ever did before. I enjoy my lessons with him allot.

ELOFANT: Mr. Haage's classes are a lot of fun. Thanks to his high musical abilities, I was able to improve my playing considerably both in practice and in complex music theory. The communication is relaxed and informal and you can easily bring in your own suggestions for new pieces. I can only recommend!

Yannick Knop: I've been taking guitar lessons with Mr. Hage for almost half a year now and I'm very satisfied. My technique, speed and understanding of music in general has improved drastically.

Frank S.: Friendly service and delicious food

Gavin Taylor Music Tuition: what do users think?

Helena Emmans: Gavin is a professional teacher. He makes learning great fun and interesting. He taught my children drums and they loved it, he was very creative and responsive to their abilities and they really enjoyed his encouragement, they learnt a lot in a short space of time. His methods of teaching are about enjoying the music which they loved. He is a very talented man and I would recommend his teaching to anyone.
Response: Hi Helena. Thanks so much for your wonderful review. Hope the boys are well.

Jen Hill: Gavin is a exceptional musician and a brilliant and caring teacher. He is versed in many styles of music, and knows how to explain things to learners of all levels. If you are a beginner, he'll take time to make sure you develop good technique and a good understanding of music theory (if you're interested in that), alongside the playing aspects. If you are a skilled and experienced guitarist or dobro player, Gav will take your understanding of harmony, form and improvisation to a new level. We will miss him on the Edinburgh and UK music scene. I'd give him more than 5 stars if I could!
Response: Hi Jen. Thanks so much for you review. A 💓 felt thank you.

Kevin Nowbaveh: Gavin is a professional teacher who gets results without furrowed brows or rulers. Suitable for all abilities and ages and learning paces. I'm quite a slow learner but he's been patient and I've seen an excellent improvement in my techniques. For me it's important to find a good teacher whom you gel with and build up a working relationship over many years. Top marks.
Response: Hi Kevin. Thanks so much for your kind words. Onward...ever onwards

Marie Hernandez: Gavin taught my 12 year old son guitar and piano for two years. He was reliable, patient and approachable. My son is highly functioning autistic so his warm and caring approach was very much appreciated. Highly recommend.
Response: Hi Marie, thanks for your review. Pleas say hi to Luis for me. I very much enjoyed our lessons together. He's a great young person with a lot to offer the world. Thanks again.

Bo Ndiku: An excellent teacher! Very patient and calm. Really enjoyed taking lessons from Gavin. Always found sessions with him educational, with new stuff and always pushing beyond comfort zone. A huge thank you!
Response: Hi. Thanks so much for your kind review. I hope your doing well.

Murti Thinker: Hi Gavin. This is Donald. Thanks for teaching me various elements of music. With no previous knowledge of guitar, I have taken less than 12 lessons from you but now I see myself as an advanced learner. Do let us know if you have work-shops in Edinburgh some time in the future so that we can take part. They told me that at 50 I could not learn music, but your guidance destroyed that myth for me.
Response: Thanks Donald. Hope you musical Development is still going well. I am teaching online now if you find yourself in need of a helping hand. Cheers Gavin

Deirdre Tunney: Gavin has taught me a lot about music: theory and practice. He has a really creative and effective approach to teaching - big thumbs up from me!
Response: Hi Deirdre. Thanks so much for your review. I hope the wonders of music continue to bless you life. Cheers

Tam Treanor: Gavin knows his stuff. Great teacher on many instruments. Makes learning easy and fun
Response: Hi. Tam Thanks for the kind word. Hope your musical adverture in India works out well.

School Of Voice: what do users think?

Joyce Mordoh: This school has the finest teachers who all were trained by the best vocal teacher I ever had. Kara Johnstad is simply top of the line. Her technique, which she taught all her teachers, will truly change your voice to sound like a real professional. I highly recommend this school!

Arik Strauss: My name is Sigal Adler Strauss. Studying with Kara Johnstad at the School of Voice not only helped me with my stage fright it also brought my voice to a different level, a much better one. But not only that, I found in Kara not only a vocal teacher but the most spiritual, loving and caring person. This makes lessons with her such a wonderful and empowering experience. And it's not only Kara, but there are also many excellent teachers to learn from and study with. Coming to the School of Voice, is like coming home. Everyone connected to this school is warm and helpful. I know that my husband, the pianist and composer Arik Strauss, loves teaching there. Thank you!

Mandie Wilson: A wonderfully enlightening experience. Delivered with love and totally effective for professionals! Kara Johnstad is an incredibly positive person and if you combine that with talent you find the doorway to easy progress. With varied courses on offer at the School of Voice, I can heartily recommend the songwriting course with Nathalie Raedler. She is a great musician and teaches with enthusiasm and tons of encouragement.
Response: Thank you so much, Mandie! You are a gifted and talented artist. We so much enjoy you being a part of the School of Voice Community.

Lynne Frame: I've studied voice with Kara Johnstad for almost 10 years because she was and still is the only teacher--of several--with whom I achieve rapid, palpable progress with my voice. It is exciting and very motivating. And lots of fun. I recommend her highly.

Linda Leow: Little did I know how much my life would change after taking classes with Kara. I thought I just needed a few singing lessons, but Kara opened my voice and I healed wounds I didn't even knew I had. Thank you so much Kara! You truly are the best!

Nadine Kühn: The BEST school for voice, song writing, piano, composing etc. there is!!! Wondeful teachers, the most amazing students, and of course KARA :) who's founded this safe haven for music. So happy and grateful to be part of this amazing community. <3

Kristin Johnstad: I participated in both group classes and individual vocal coaching at the school. KARA has the expertise and ability to set the conditions for people to sing themselves whole. She is extraordinary.

Hendrik Roggemann: I attended both voice and piano workshops and loved the profound, natural and loving way of teaching. Kara Johnstad‘s love for opening hearts and voices at the same time is a true blessing.

M Kavari: Amazing school with amazing people

Iman Hamouni: Very lovely place with the loveliest people and the amazing Kara🌺🌺

Global Music Academy: what do users think?

Haris Čustović: I booked a kathak dance class for my partner and she was left quite dissatisfied with the lack of transparency from both the management and the teacher. In the end, the agreed schedule of classes was not followed at all and we ended up paying even for months in which no classes were being held at all, even if the contract stated the classes must be held regularly and any additional change to contract must be formally agreed upon. Not to mention that the teacher treated my partner very rudely and disrespectfully by the end of the course by removing her from the class WhatsApp group while she was still a paying customer and under contract for her classes. My advice is to stay away from this academy and find a place which is more respectful of its customers and presents their contracts and their work in general transparently. The only takeaway we got from this place is that they don't care at all about their students and are only passionate about taking your money.

Womenpower: Very bad experience with the management and the dance classes offered. First of all they dont align with the classes that offer , drag along and dont complete the course on time. As a part of the contract you are still pushed to pay the money . Please read the contract before they sign.

Ratki Rani: Bharatanatyam teacher very unpleasant and rude. And the school is very intransparent (beware, contracts are sold despite teachers frequently being absent) .

Rahul Arjun: Have a wonderful teacher who teach me Carnatic flute, so far I seem to enjoy it a lot.

Raul Sanchez: Not good

zHans Olaf: The employees are no longer able to dress the customers to the appropriate shelves if you can't find something.

Doriana Faganelli: Very good music school with a wide range - unique, because you can not only learn the "usual" Western European instruments, but also Indian, Arabic or Persian. Also recommended are the monthly Latin Jazz - Jam Sessions :)

Acoustic Music Store: what do users think?

Eyal Harris: The place seems small from outside, but they have most anything you could look for. I went in to search for a stand for a bass guitar, and the shopkeeper was extremly nice and helpfull. Would recommend!

Orlando Seale: The really lovely guys at Acoustic Music Store did a fantastic job repairing my guitar. They were not only very helpful and friendly but also turned the job around really quickly to help me out. I can’t recommend them more highly. I felt very grateful to have found them.

Mashaal Veera: Totally recommend coming here! Why? Freindly owner, he takes his time and explains everything, I'm a beginner guitarist and he made sure to give me everything I need to help fix my guitar and guide through it! Price is a bit high but if you want the service come here!

Sven Piechottka: Bought my new guitar + equipment here. Very nice service, prices were ok. If you‘re looking for a local dealer for acoustic music stuff, you should check this out.

Sandy Blue: Passionate guy that knows his stuff! I just started learning how to play guitar, and my roommate and I went to get new strings. The owner was really nice and spent a lot of time to explain everything we needed to know, even after hours. Though I thought the price for the service was a bit high, I do think that you get what you paid for. My guitar has now such a better feel, and I'm glad I took his advice. Thank you!

J.R. Fleming: Great little shop, and the owner is very nice and helpful. His English is good, if that is a factor for you. Bought a starter guitar for my daughter at a very fair price..... May go back and get one for myself!

Федор Федор: Great place, I bought here an amazing small guitar for a very good price, thanks :)

Sascha Weniger: I just had some technical questions regarding my setup including loop pedal, sound interface, PA, guitar and mic and got some great insights from the staff. They were nice and helpful and invested some time to find a solution for me. I have now a working setup thanks to them !

Busker Paris: When I visit a new city, I always try to find guitar shops because it's the best way to meet musicians. If you go to Berlin, this is the best acoustic shop you'll ever find. Matthias is such a nice and smart person, he's very professional and he's never the last to make some good jokes. I had a good feeling with this shop and I bought a very good guitar that he sent me to France, very well packed and well set. Thanks!!

Anton Koltsov: owner was very friendly and helped me to choose the instrument while talking about history and origins of it :) 5/5!

Gitarrenunterricht & Ensemble Mumm in Berlin-Kreuzberg: what do users think?

Katrin Bossmann: BEST you can find :-) soooo much fun...even though you are going slow there is always understanding and patience....I truly can recommended Maike and her guitar course!!!

Axel Golpe: Very professional ensemble lessons. All players are always with humor, just like Maike, so it's always a lot of fun to play music together. The repertoire is very varied from baroque to contemporary. Different levels of playfulness of the teammates know Maike skillfully involved, so that all levels of play come at their expense and not lose the fun of the music. Recommended for beginners to advanced.

Jojo Plop: It's fun to play with other people every week. The atmosphere is always relaxed and fun. Even on days when you are less motivated, Maike manages to awaken the joy of playing the guitar. The repertoire is varied and there is something for everyone. The Advent concerts are particularly nice, for which everyone comes together to play the guitar together in the pre-Christmas mood.

Juliane Seeger: If you are looking for top professional guitar lessons in a relaxed & authentic Kreuzberg atmosphere, this is the place for you. I started as a beginner and made great progress after just a few hours. Maike not only shares her skills, but also conveys her love of music. Highly Recommended!

Hedda St.: Great ensemble lessons!!! It's always a lot of fun and after an hour with Maike I'm absolutely motivated to practice a lot. She is really very very patient but also a little bit strict with a lot of subtle humor. No matter what level you have, you can always learn something from her. It's a very nice, family atmosphere.

Lorena Onken: Top teacher! Flamenco guitar @ its best

LuKKas Music: what do users think?

Martin Krumpf: I have been lucky to meet Lucas, who helped me in developing as a Backup Vocalist for my Rock Band, basically starting from scratch. I was barely able to stay in tune, and now I can sing comfortably, after just 10 lessons. I chose him over 15 others options as he showed interest and passion for the direction I wanted to take and my specific needs. Recommended ✌🏻
Response: Thanks Martin, It‘s good fun working with you, and your band absolutely rocks! 8-)

Andrei Ciupan: Lucas is a great teacher. He’s patient and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Response: Thanks for the kind words Andrei. Looking forward to seeing you again ! :)

Homer Dong: For someone who hasn't played any instrument until his 40s, I feel super lucky to start my music journey learning guitar at LuKKas Music. Besides being an established multi-instrumentalist and an awesome musician, Lucas surely knows how to tailor his teaching method to suit learners of various background, encouraging the formation of a healthy routine while unblocking learners by arranging targeted but not tedious technique practices. Further more, learning music with Lucas goes far beyond merely learning how to play. A proper digestible dose of music theory mixed with some hearing and singing practices not only enriched the whole learning experience, but also complemented each other to aid your progress, especially for a beginner adult learner like myself. I'd have no hesitation to recommend LuKKas Music to anyone who'd like to explore the possibility to pick up a guitar but always wondering whether and how.
Response: Thank you Homer, it‘s wonderful to have you as a student. Keep it up! :) appreciate the thoughtful words.

Avishai Efrat: I've worked numerous times with Lucas, using his services as a vocal coach, as well as a musical mentor for various projects. I have no doubt that his unique perspective and experience could be great for a wide array of musicians, from beginners to pros.

Andres Nuñez: He is the life coach of music! 10000% recommended

N Lucas: Ya rock!

Just Music GmbH: what do users think?

Abdo: Best music store in town. You can go there and spend hours with the instruments trying and testing everything you want. The staff is very friendly and helpful and musicians themselves. I bought 2 guitars there at once even though I could have brought them online.

faozan rizal. ICS: Music and sound equipment paradise ! Went here only to check up on mic and end up buying sound devices 😅 the store is amazing and great staff to advice on anything music

Hasmik Gasparyan: Very nice atmosphere and good service. They are so patient with all wierd habits of musicians to spend hours playing on the instrument in a separate room with all necessary acoustic devices, then coming back and saying i need to think about it. It's really amazing. Even not being a musician i wanted to buy something after seeing their atmosphere full of music and inspiration. Will probably return back for their small calimbas or ukulele. Btw, in the ground floor found nice presents for friends - music boxes for old-school lovers

João Gabriel Ferrazza Dias: Amazing!! A huge store, full of options! I focused more on the first floor, dedicated to pianos and keyboards, where they have headphones that you can use to test the instruments, and on the third floor where you can find guitars and basses and where they have rooms where you can test the acoustic guitars or plug the electric ones and test it in different amps. They also have a sale section on each floor, where you can find some exclusive deals with great prices. The store is located near from the Moritzplatz subway station, really easy to access. If you like music I highly recommend a visit!!

Josh Foley: Very helpful staff! Went in looking for a guitar case and they provided a range of styles and prices! Highly recommend for all your music needs!

Gian Luca Baldi: I felt so sorry for a such great shop like that, with a good instruments selection and a good position but ruined by its arrogant staff. I asked for a test of an expensive electronic drums, a board placed on the seat told that by asking to the staff there was this possibility. The reply was terrible: we are not here to joke, this is not a rehearsal room, so you might not test expensive instruments because if you damage them you must buy it. I don't question your policy, but how do you think you could sell mainly expensive stuff if you don't let to test them without being under threat? Are you sure that I can't afford it? Are you sure that I'm a joker and not a musician?

Fabian V: Super nice music store with massive selection. Staff is friendly and it's a lot of fun to try out the different devices and instruments. Prices are good, too. Can fully recommend it.

GoGo Tips: A lot of international customers at this store. It has a great collection of musical instruments and devices (microphones, cables, amps, Party Equipments, etc.) categorized in different sections. If you are a music lover, know how to play musical instrument(s) or want to learn a new instrument, it's a good place to spend a few hours, part with some money and invest in yourself! Have some fun there.

Екатерина Пономаренко: I am a regular customer of this store, but something happened today that made me give one star to this store. I went down to the first floor to pay for my order. It had to be handed over by workers from the upper floors in order for me to pay on the first floor. I approached a female cashier with red hair and a nose piercing. she asked me if I received my order, I misheard her question, because I'm just learning to speak English and it's a little stress for me, and I answered “yes”. After she gave me the check and said "thank you", I said that I didn’t receive my stuff and she should give it to me. It happens to everyone sometimes, doesn't it guys? After that, she started yelling at me and after the order was handed over by the employees late, she aggressively threw it on my table with a receipt. Please be more careful when selecting employees. This rude person has no place in your store.

Mikdog: Great place, largest music store I think I’ve ever been to. Lots of instruments available to be demo’d. Not sure how Google Maps knew this but I typed in ‘buy Midi Fighter’ and it pointed me to Just Music, and they had a single unit not even on display afaik, for sale. A rare find.

Jazz Gitarre Unterricht Jazz Guitar Lessons Berlin: what do users think?

Christoph Ploner: Tina has been teaching me for more than one year and I have made considerable progress on my guitar journey. Tina’s lessons are highly focussed and really go deep into the microstructures of guitar playing. We have done several transcriptions together and her comments really made me understand what happened in the brains of the soloists instead of just reproducing the licks and phrases of the solos. Her lessons are nevertheless always musical and she adapts with empathy and humour to the pace of her student. So, if you're really interested in growing your musicianship I strongly recommend to study with Tina!
