Natalia Kempin: First of all their website says: "English patients are welcome" and "Kurze Wartezeit, umfassende Beratung, Diagnostik und Behandlung!" I wrote my request on 15th of June in English and got a reply from the professor's secretary Helena. In German. I literally asked for an appointment underlining that I can come any day except of the 18th of June. A reply was: "Professor Derwahl ist ab dem 29.06. für 6 Wochen im Urlaub." (Professor is in 6-weeks vacations starting June the 29th) "And what?" thought I. There are still 2 weeks till then (and on the web they offer short waiting times). So, I wrote my "And what, there are still 2 weeks till then" as an answer to Helena's email. Helena answered: "ja das ist korrekt. Der Professor ist aber nur an 2. Tagen die Woche in der Praxis und diese sind bis zu seinem Urlaub ausgebucht." So, as a result professor is not there each day, and the remaining options for an appointment (till his holidays) are all booked. Thoughts: text on the website needs an update as much as it's design. One can not suggest service in English and have a secretary who (perhaps intentionally) answers English letters in German. Not sure how polite it is, but even the fact that the detailed explanation was not provided already in the first message, it's ... impolite. To say the least.

Sara Schumann: TRIGGER WARNING FOR NON GERMAN SPEAKING BERLINERS!! I have never been treated so poorly or felt so discriminated against for not speaking fluent German. I've been a patient here for more then 7 years but none of this was considered. The receptionist was beyond rude when trying to make an appointment and on my FINAL appointment I was asked by Dr. Köster "Why after so many years here do you not yet speak German?" (I should mention the Dr. speaks perfect English) I wasn't sure if I was in an immigration office or a Doctor's office?! As far as I'm concerned a Doctor should be kind and helpful regardless of what language you speak but instead I was judged and treated without any compassion or respect. My advice, find somewhere else if you are not fluent in German.

Everything was super organized and the doctor I saw took me and my complaints seriously, which is not the case everywhere. Accordingly, I feel in good hands. I came across Medicover through a recommendation and am very satisfied. Of course you don't get an appointment overnight, where else is that possible? But at my first appointment there were less than 2 weeks between the call and the appointment, that's almost the speed of sound with a specialist.

But she would NOT have done this herself, because I was so impertinent. I brazenly rejected the accusation that I could have taken care of the return... SHE hissed at me arrogantly on the phone with "if you don't like it...you have a free choice of doctor" OUTRAGEOUS!! This already mature lady (according to the voice) should definitely be retrained and maybe be a little more humble. I wasn't dissatisfied with the doctor but with the performance of the registration!! A practice (no matter how modern it may be) stands and falls with the staff. Treating patients like this is unprofessional and presumptuous!

Agnieszka Gawronska: I do not recommend. Of course, I'm not referring to the doctor mentioned above, who is probably good, but to my colleagues. The place is a custom order. You're just another number on the list. There are enough people with health problems. The ladies at reception are friendly despite the stressful work. There is plenty of space in the waiting room and the public transport connection is good. The first consultation (!) with the doctor lasted 3, maximum 5 minutes. Conversations can be quite fast, but it wasn't. I didn't pick up any laboratory values, but went to an endocrinologist for the first time. The lady clearly didn't have time. I could hardly think because everything had to happen so quickly. It just can't be.

Sascha Tim Fischer: The reception is rather little turned. The medical professionals in the laboratory (taking blood) seem very stressed for a while. Doctors take the time to give medical advice. I lack the competence to judge professional expertise. However, in practice I miss the human connection overall. I suspect a mixture of perceived or actual underfunding of the healthcare system. Although I certainly know practices that do it much better overall. This includes, for example, my family doctor and her team. And GP practices are not exactly those that are known for being overfunded. But in Berlin you often take where you can get a specialist appointment. Overall, this specialist practice is quite acceptable compared to others.

I. Kyrsanidou: Unacceptable behavior. I made an appointment two months ago for January, I explained to them that it is something important for me, they told me we can only do it in January 2023, I said ok I will wait. A few days ago they sent me a simple message that they are canceling my appointment, and they don't even tell me the reason. They should, since they canceled my appointment for no reason, make me another appointment somewhere nearby, I contacted them and they tell me in April 2023 we can make an appointment for you again. ( 8 months after my first communication ) They don't deserve even one star with the system they have.

Z Juno: 3rd Floor Reception and the doctors are very friendly. I have been there for many years and feeling always nice. But they can't speak very good English. I would suggest to take a translator or friend there together. I one day needed to some test on the 2nd floor and the doctor and receptionist were not friendly and wouldn't let me to go to toilet before the test. Until i insist or i ll pee on the floor... It was horrible experience and do not feel like human.

Yagmur Yildiz: I had a good experience with Dr. Christine Rühl, she listened to my symptoms and gave me good advices. I got my detailed test results within two weeks. She also spoke English with me without judgement. Other things such as waiting times and rude reception/staff are the same everywhere in Berlin…

Katarzyna Głuszek: I had to wait for my urgent appointment quite long but that's normal with certain doctors. My doctor spoke English and really took care of me. Informed me about risks and gave me an information about what needs to be checked. My blood was drawn immediately, with little waiting. Unfortunately that's it from good things. I was supposed to get a call with results and after 3 weeks no sign. I was supposed to have my important prescription sent via post and it never came. The receptionist seemed irritated with me even though I spoke German with her, she immediately switched to English and was impolite. I'm not sure I'll be coming back.

Jaqueline Beiram: They made me go back to repeat a blood sample because they made a mistake processing it. And on the day that the doctor was supposed to call with the results, they never called. I asked them about it, they said the doctor got sick. They never apologized for either of these things. They only send one-sentence emails. So far they didn't even tell me when the doctor will call with the results.

Babak: Very bad experience. Dr. Ilka Weiskirchner did not care about my symptoms at all. Although the lab results confirmed that I am on the boundary for a condition, she decided that I need no treatment. Very disappointed with the team. All the medical guidelines point out that the lab results with the symptoms must be taken into account together. It is so disappointing to wait for a long time, take blood test and in the end see that the doctor won't help you. You set your hopes high, to go there and get help, but no help comes... I do not recommend at all.
