Nuchjarin Lao: Staff are professional, speaks english well.But the teachers are not all good, just need some lucks. Moreover, In the lesson, teachers cant control bad behaviour students who interrupt others. Unlike with other German school I attended. The classroom atmosphere is suitable.

Luciano Santander Hoces: The face-to-face German classes at Inlingua are excellent. In a short period of time I went from knowing nothing to being able to communicate with my surroundings thanks to this institute. At the same time, the administration works very well, and they give you all the facilities so that you can learn. Danke für alles!

Ali Borsan: It is one of the best language learning schools and training institutes, I visited and learnt in many schools and some of them was good, but this one is the best at all, which has nice and professional staff, teachers and employees. The have also a nice online system, which is simple and ritch. One of the trusted businesses in Berlin which they are rare. I am so glad that i learnt by them and will be glad to visit my next course by them also.

Oksana Tarnopolska: I was enrolling in B1.1 evening course and will definitely continue. Our teacher Anna was amazing, so much material packed for that amount of time. Some events apart from course like exhibitions or picnic is also a big plus for expat community who want to meet new people. Highly recommend speakeasy !
Besjan Xhika: Following the evening course on site since 3 months, very convenient when your day is busy. Professor Mohammad is a great teacher, his explaining of the grammar is very clear. Pronunciation is important and the professor does a wonderful job also here. Some other important details are that the professor only speaks German and makes analogies also in German and completely eliminates English.

Raimond Luide: I have had a very enjoyable experience with Speakeasy so far. The teachers have been super friendly and easygoing (my B1.1+ teacher is Levant) and this makes it a lot easier and smoother to learn German. The location is prime, you have the East Side Mall next to it with a parking house. Everything you could ask for a language center is there.

Parinaz Mostafaei: Today was my 4th day in GLS, and I should say that is fascinating. I’d gone to another school for 1 month. Honestly because it was in lower price and you get discount if you bring a friend. However, in my view learning a language is not something to be stingy about. So I happily registered for a 6 months course in GLS. Only in 4 days I see the huge difference between The GLS and other schools. The teachers are professionals teaching with enthusiasm. The activities are well designed and teachers talk to you and control your progress every day. Now I am so in love with this school and German language.

Aziz Mesned: Lovely place, great teachers, each class has a limited number of students which i find wonderful, the teachers are always friendly & ready to answer your every question, the reception team always greeted me with smiles & respect. The cafeteria is nice but if you wanted to have something else you have plenty of restaurants on Kastanienallee street. the leisure time activities that GLS offers are just okay, nothing really special but they’re there if you want. I highly recommend GLS if you’re interested in learning Deutsch, a great school with great staff.

Joao Tonon: I’m a bit disappointed at this place. I am doing an intensive course, which is rather expensive. Whilst the teachers are good, and the school has the infrastructure, they manage the cohorts quite poorly. I was placed in A1.2, and the class I am has 12 people and we all differ in levels. Some people have studied German for months before, whilst others have little to no German knowledge. This clearly impacts at how fast the class can move, as some people can’t follow and the teachers have to spend quite some time explaining very basic things, such as simple regular verb conjugations and pronouns. Also, people miss several days in a row and are placed right back at the cohort, slowing down progress again. The last piece is that it is an intensive course, but at times we spent quite some time at unnecessary topics. They say the class should move from A1.2 to A2 in 4 weeks, but the teacher said that it will take another 2 weeks to get to A2. I wouldn’t recommend this place for someone looking for a place to do a short intensive course

Teodora Atanasova: I really enjoy my German classes at the DAS Akademie Berlin in der Torstraße! I am finishing my A1.1 German course in a small group, all people from different countries. Our teacher is creating this comfortable environment for us where we can make our first steps in German language without any doubts. We have interactive games and a lot of dialogs so that we can practice the language all the time. The staff is excellent - DAS offers a special service, when you sign the contract and know the days you are not going to be in Berlin, you will get these days added to your course, brilliant for my travels in Germany. Snacks, tea in the break, great after class activities in German for free! Actually many people assume that German is very difficult language (which is true) but when you start speaking from the first hour, the whole process of learning is so much easier and even amusing! Moreover, the place is really cozy and you can make a bunch of new friends while you are in Berlin! :) BG: Започнах първия си курс по немски в DAS Akademie и, ако трябва да съм честна, е доста полезно и приятно! Благодарение на преподавателката ни Лаура, всички в групата имаме възможността да практикуваме езика с интерактивни упражнения и диалози. Arno Reynaert: Absolutely incredible staff, teachers and German classes! I have been attending DAS Akademie for 2 months now after being unsatisfied with my last German language school. I felt unhappy because the method of teaching and the big class groups slowed down my language growth. At first, I was sceptical whether going to another German school in Berlin would solve my problems. However, from the moment I stepped foot into the door of DAS Akademie I felt right at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming. They make time to get to know you, ask about your day and always have a smile on their faces. Furthermore, the teachers are amazing. I had the privilege of getting taught by Patrick, a very charismatic guy with great teaching abilities. Not only that, but the method of teaching at DAS Akademie focuses primarily on improving your speaking skills. This was exactly what I was looking for, because I want to be able to communicate with Berliners in their mother tongue. The small class sizes (I was in a class with 5 other students) really help that. Although the courses are more expensive compared to my previous school, the quality of teaching is way superior and can be compared to the more expensive schools out there. Before coming to DAS Akademie, I was very nervous and shaky when speaking German. However since joining the Akademie, I have become way more comfortable in speaking and can express myself more freely. I would definitely recommend anyone to come to the school. You will not regret it.

Marina Merkulova: Thanks a lot! Group lessons with a native speaker work very well for language learning. Thanks teacher Atef. In the lessons we practiced different skills: speaking, grammar, listening. He also explains different phrases, the context of the phrases. This is very useful material that is not found in textbooks.

Ermir Bajraktari: When I first found Sprachinstitut Berlin I immediately wanted to check the reviews. Usually I have seen that when businesses have almost 5 star reviews, it could mean that those are fake reviews. Not having much time to waste, and since Sprachinstitut Berlin was among the only ones to offer late evening online classes, I thought to give it a go. The price was affordable, so I thought that at the worst case scenario I would just lose some money and find another course. But boy I was wrong! Totally wrong! The course and the team are amazing. I did take a test and got enrolled for the A2.1 course and bear in mind that it was my first time doing a German course totally in German, so I was also sceptic on how much info I would assimilate. However, I found out that this course was much better than I expected. My teacher Julia is phenomenal. Her way of explaining things is so good and easy at the same time. And even though I am lazy to read after class, still a lot of information is assimilated during class. I am sure all other teachers are as well good. We had one class with a substitute teacher and she was really good as well, meaning that the Institute is really careful in selecting the teachers. Not only this. I had several communication with the Institute as well, and they were always eager to provide answers to my questions. So I am really pleased with them and will aim to complete my whole German-learning journey with them.

THE NEW SCHOOL - Language School Berlin: what do users think?
Adriana Villa: Excellent school. My experience was even better than I was expecting. I had experiences with other language schools in Berlin and in comparison, the difference was enormous. My teacher was Luise and I took the 10 week intensive German course (B1). Teachers are German and you learn the pronunciation of a native speaker. I ended the course being a whole new student , I REALLY up-graded my ability to undertand, read, hear and talk. My personal experience was fantastic, however, I had a substitute teacher the first week and she was not good.

Cathy Huang: One level is spilt into 2 books📕📗 (e.g. A1-A1.1 & A1.2) (i.e. one book = 5 weeks) I spent 2.5 months to complete A2.1 & A2.2 German🙋🏼♀️Based on my experience, I am confident to say that it’s the best language school in Berlin🇩🇪 Organized system, flexible arrangement, reliable teachers, multicultural learning environment, convenient location, reasonable tuition…und viele mehr🤩 Before registration, it’s suggested to take the free online test on their official website. The level test takes around 20-30mins and the result comes out in a few hours. Gwen Calisch: Die Neue Schule has been an absolutely fantastic place to learn German, I cannot recommend it enough! Matthias was one of the best teachers I have ever had-- he explains things very clearly and intuitively, has endless patience with students, and makes class a lot of fun. From my point of view, it was rather efficient, because all the topics were explained in great detail and the teacher was ready to answer any question I wanted to ask. Every student was included in the discussion, and as a result we had a lot of personal variations of sentences to widen our vocabularies.

Chaemin Lim: I am currently attending the Victoria Academy Of Languages school in Berlin and I am finding it good as I feel as though my German has already improved significantly. I am finding learning under my teacher Mr Razai to be a good experience as he is quite expressive and passionate while teaching. However I’m finding that the Campus accommodation is quite lacking.

Andrew: I am happy to have chosen this school to learn German because it focuses on much more than just learning in the class. My teacher Taregh was a great teacher that made sure we learned everything in an entertaining way which made the lessons more enjoyable. The office of the school was understanding when I faced some issues with my accommodation and I got moved to a better apartment. At the end, I wished I enrolled for a longer duration at the school because it was the best summer I experienced.

I have studied here before, and I think the teachers here are very very nice.They really helped me so much. I not only improved the German in this Language Academy, but also met a lot of foreign friends, who are very kind. I think the teaching ability here is very Great! Because we don‘t have only one teacher,but there are a lot of teachers.This is very important for learning German. Because I can hear a lot of people pronunciation. I was so happy because I was improving every day The environment here is great, the classroom is very clean. I am very grateful to myself for making the right decision, that is, here to learn German. Kat D: 2 stars only for nice staff at the reception. I was taking a German certificate there. The overall quality of this experience was poor. First of all, I only got an email with details two days before the exam after having called twice. Second, there was very clearly stated that one can only take a certificate with a negative test result, otherwise you cannot write it. So I took my time, and made a trip especially to take the test only to find out that the vaccination proof is enough. Would be nice to have that also written in email. On top of that during listening part there was some drilling on that floor. I was also informed that if I want a certificate sent to me, I should bring an envelope with a stamp. Very embarrassing. This was the 5th certificate I wrote in my life, both cambridge and goethe certificates were sent to my place without asking for an envelope. The certificate is expensive enough and I felt a massive second hand embarrasement when I read that email. If you have an option, you will benefit from taking your certificate somewhere else.
Polina Aslamova: Best school for many reasons. Initially I was aiming to get level A2 in German Language and quit the school for university language courses (as a student of TU Berlin I have possibility to get German courses really cheap). But I was so much impressed with the quality of teaching at school that I decided to proceed till B1-B2 level. I got very lucky to get super cool teacher, clear methodology and perfect program. I would recommend FU school to anyone who struggling with German language.

Kristína Turner: One of my happiest month that summer full of new things, eager to learn again and fun. Teachers are very energetic and positive, always let you talk if you feel so. It is very hard to learn this language and a good teacher is very important for me to keep me motivated and positive. The city is amazing, with many people im still in contact with. It is a great experience even if you go alone like I did. If i will have the chance i will go again. <3

alisan Barca: I am currently at Sprachenatelier coming from Turkey . I got my A1 and A2 from here. Really good school. In a very nice neighborhood, old style historic building and just behind the u-bahn. Always quick respond to our questions not only on mail and phone also on school . The teachers are very experienced and friendly. They are always motivated to teach and we are able to reach them and ask our questions, not only at school but also outside of school. Practitioners are also very friendly and positive, we learned a lot from them, teachers and practitioners are kind of puzzle pieces. There are also speaking clubs every week and a cultural trip every Wednesday. I enrolled in the school for 6 months, but I am planning to extend my course and finish in 1 year. Thanks to Sprachenatelier for creating such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend this place.

Angelika: I have been attending the DaF evening course for over a year at the time of writing this review. I met a few different German teachers and every one of them had something valuable to teach. During the pandemic, the school swiftly switched to a remote teaching model which allowed me to continue learning from home. I can wholeheartedly recommend the school for learning German, it offers good quality for a reasonable price.
Lori Kreuzberg: A relaxed bar with a diverse and international clientele- especially popular with students from the language school Sprachenatelier as a venue for Stammtisch- a language exchange. We offer friendly staff and service, good food and even a new weekend Brunch Menu!

Rudolf Pütz: I really enjoyed my time at Alpadia! The teachers are knowledgeable and the staff was very helpful! If I had to name one negative thing it would be that the overwhelming majority of students is Swiss which makes it harder to meet people. The rest of my experience was very positive.

Dennis “Denkon”: One of the best experiences I have ever made in my life! EF Berlin is one of the most heart-warming and caring schools I have ever experienced. They have teachers that always have great quality during their classes/lessons and their staff is always helpful. Especially is their activity leaders always happy and have a great desire to always guide you through all the activities in Berlin. I also had the honor to live with a wonderful guest family where I hope always to keep in touch with them. If you are on the fence of joining EF Berlin I would say go for it every time! Vorname Nachname: Teachers seem to be not regular employed because they have to leave the course very quickly. And they seem to be bad paid because they don’t prepare their courses. The only good thing is : They have a good technology but I think that to have an available teacher and a good course is the best to learn a foreign language.
