Zac Widders: DO NOT GO FOR MENS WAX! Booked eyebrow threading appointment and the beautician told me she was better at waxing- so I agreed to let her wax my eyebrows. Apparently waxing isn’t her forté either because I got off the table with eyebrows more than half the size they originally were. I was in so much shock with how thin she had made my eyebrows I couldn’t believe it. Absolutely horrendous.
Sara Fee: I am a long term customer but unfortunately the service is not what it used to be. Always changing staff with lots of inexperienced newbies. Also the app service doesn’t work- often activated lately or paused which messes up waiting times.. definitely more original, great waxing services in the direct neighborhood! Not worth coming here any more.

Especially when you are no longer so flexible, it is no fun and the result accordingly. No comparison to a professional treatment! The practice is super pleasant, everything is spot on and the service is first class. I look forward to my next appointment! The pedicure now (Sep.22) costs 2€ more, a very moderate adjustment in view of the galloping prices!

Regardless of whether it is a mani / pedi, the plucking of the eyebrows or even the admittedly sometimes painful skin cleansing, the two manage to give you the feeling of bliss every time. Julia Algar: Possibility of speaking Spanish or Portuguese helps massively when you just moved to Germany and can’t speak much German like me. Ladies are very friendly & welcoming. Waxing method is similar to that of Argentina with a thick dark brown honey wax basted on & removed in one long strip making it faster and more efficient. Love it.

Liz Olegov: Got my first bikini wax ever here, Laurene is incredible and will make your experience so comfortable. I was never one for waxing, but a friend of mine suggested I give this salon a go and it has changed my life. Laurene is so professional, relaxing, gentle, and just overall awesome. She takes extra care that you’re in as little pain as possible, and talks with you the whole time to take your mind off it and the pain. I’ve tried the other ladies here, and I suppose it’s a question of preference, but personally I believe Laurene is the best. I didn’t have such a nice experience with the others, but I am very sensitive and they were more pragmatic about the procedure. I’m sure some prefer the fast and get it over with approach, but I prefer Laurene’s take it slow and easy attitude :) Parking is really really difficult !

bárbara braga: They are completely rude and unprofessional. You expect that a place like that would be very professional for be doing such service. Instead they treat you as if they were doing you a favor, to not even mention the fact that they are not hygienic. I do not recommend you to go there, they don’t take appointments and they have only 2 people working so you will be waiting for a long time. Another option in Prenzlauer Berg that I recommend is the Waxing Cat, which is also cheaper. Please don’t waste your time here!

Rebecca Halfast: Very professional and clean! Leni does do a quick job, but I found her attention to detail very good. She went over areas where the first wax did not remove the hair well to be sure she was able to remove the troublesome hairs. Ive been to other places where they are careless about this. The temperature of the wax was hot at times but not so hot that it burned me. She would always as me how was the temperature. (I also have been to places where they have burned me) I would recommend Leni as she can communicate in English and is very good at what she does! Muito Obrigada Leni!

bella berry: Been there several times and put up with the owners quick and rushed job. Moderate pricing but terribly rushed jobs all 4 times I went there. When I complained about irritation and rashes after being waxed she told me to exfoliate and moisturize which didn’t help. It was only after I started going to a different salon that the therapist told me the technique the owner here was using was incorrect as she was doing such a rushed job she wasn’t caring about the direction of hair growth. Eyebrow waxing is good here but would avoid for intimate waxing.

Myra Ahsan: The women working there are super nice and so accommodating! Also, it barely hurts during waxing. I have a parlor near my house but I commute for 40 minutes just to get it done from here. So worth it!
Giorgia Madella: I went to Waxin Cat to get my eyebrows done. I have read about it on Yelp, as it was highly recommended amongst expats in Berlin for eyebrow threading. Unfortunately, my experience there was not as pleased as I wished. To start with, they do not offer threading services (fair enough, their name does not suggest that either). The lady who took care of my eyebrows was kind and made me feel at ease. She asked if I was looking for any particular result or shape; I said I was open to any work that would look decent with my lineaments. She used a mixed methods approach - wax, tweezers & scissors. Attached is a pic of the end result: basic, plain and above anything something that I could have genuinely achieved by doing the job myself. Adding to this, I was charged extra (17 EUR instead of 15 EUR) as she highlighted that she also did some reshaping. I was very surprised by this, as I booked the service online and thought the price was agreed with such booking. I tried to pay by card (tried 2 cards, one German & one from another country) and she said she would only accept proper German cards (okay 😳)! Overall, the outcome is not terrible, but I will surely not be returning to this aesthetician. No pics of the interiors to attach, but I can say it was pretty raw and not super well-maintained. Clean enough, though.

Adele Gas: I booked 3 appointments at Waxing Cat. 2 of the 3 appointments have been canceled last minute. When I say last minute, it’s exactly 25 minutes before the appointment. While I’m driving through Berlin to go there. The second time instead of texting or calling to apologize, they simply sent an automatic email saying that my appointment was moved to the next day, at another time slot. Without even asking me if I’m available at this time. But it didn’t matter since they canceled again the new appointment they booked, still by automatic email… First time they canceled I thought it happens, everybody deserves a second chance. But a second time, without apologizing or anything. I think it’s unprofessional and disrespectful. I won’t take the risk to book any appointment with them anymore and I would definitely not recommend this place. For those who would wonder how was the only appointment I could actually attend, it was ok. I was just surprised they don’t clean your skin before and after the waxing process.
Hannah King: *ATTENTION STAFF SPEAKS GREAT ENGLISH* I have been getting waxed for years. This was the first place that I visited after my move from the USA to Berlin. I cannot praise them enough. They are thorough, efficient, and do everything they can to minimize the pain. After almost a decade of waxing I have to say everyone who works there gives the closest thing to a pain free wax one can get. On top of all this they are such wonderful ladies, so nice to talk to, personable, and remember you and your stories.

Crystalized: Really bad quality. The lady uses the technique from 20 years ago and doesn’t remove the roots of the hair, so next day you have the hair again. It is a waste of time and money. Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend anyone who knows how real waxing should be

Veronika Laube: I was coming to this studio for 6+ months and service gradually deteriorated overtime. Last 2 times I got my skin burned and bruises in bikini zone, which never happened during years of my waxing experience. Also any additional requests from my side during the procedure were always treated in a too emotional way. Not coming again
