Likes To Travel: Competent teachers, lessons from time to time with live guitar accompaniment. Nice studio with its own stage, 2 changing rooms. Unfortunately, there was no response to e-mails of complaint, no position was taken, therefore a 2 star deduction.

Therefore, I can confidently note that Mariposa is a studio where high technology is combined with humor and ease of teaching. We give concerts annually, both beginners and continuing participants. ;) The team is amazing! All girls of different ages and all friendly. I feel like in a family here! :) I definitely recommend it!

Eva Wallenfelsová: I have been studying flamenco for over 10 years and have studied by many excellent flamenco teachers. Raphaela Stern is one of the best. Raphaela's skill as a teacher encompass students of all levels. Everyone from beginning level to advanced/professional level can benefit from her teaching.

Daniela Pelikan: After several years at the Centro Flamenco, I can only recommend the lessons. As an active and experienced dancer herself, Raphaela Stern imparts technique and "feeling" of flamenco in equal measure, regularly supported by some of the best flamenco musicians to be found in Berlin.
Kerstin Müller-Schulzke: The BEST flamenco school in Berlin. Raphaela teaches very demanding flamenco at all levels with the greatest dedication. She lives and loves this art and you can feel that in every lesson and you just get carried away :)
Inge Bähr: Flamenco lessons at the highest level! Raphaela is very professional and gives sophisticated flamenco, as well as in the best schools in Spain, e.g. Amor de Dios in Madrid, experienced. Her lessons are accompanied by guitar and vocals, which also speaks of the importance of teaching her students the "real" flamenco dance. Every 2-3 months she also organizes weekend workshops with high profile flamenco cartwright maestros, giving students the opportunity to try out different dance styles. As a longtime flamenco dancer I can only recommend the Centro Flamenco!
Anna Heubeck: Raphaela Stern is not only a wonderful flamenco dancer but also an experienced teacher who succeeds in integrating the real flamenco atmosphere into her lessons. I would definitely recommend you!
Bildungsjahr Tanz 2015/2016: The Centro Flamenco offers very demanding lessons with Raphaela Stern as director. Despite the large student body, there is a friendly atmosphere in the classes. We recommend!!

Adam Kesselhaut: My three-year-old daughter wanted to go to a ballet school. We were, at first happy to find Imago. Then came Covid. We were glad they were allowed to remain open and took precautions, not allowing parents inside the school. This would have been fine, but I found out from another parent who was allowed in to get her daughter that my daughter was left alone in the corner of the dressing room waiting. They had told her to get dressed by herself, but she didn't get it done. It took her a while to come out until I asked. She came out and cried. This incidence wouldn't have been a big issue because I understand that they must expect children albeit, little children, to get dressed by themselves. However, my daughter had a bad feeling about Imago after this. IMAGO asked if we would continue paying the monthly fee of €44 as a donation as the lockdowns began. I also have a small business in the arts. My recording studio is at risk of closing due to the Pandemic. Therefore, knowing full well that IMAGO would be in jeopardy without donations, my wife and I agreed to pay the donation money. We donated well over €500 in total. Multiple times, I requested an invoice or receipt for this money for my taxes. It still hasn't come. Worst of all, now that they are open for business again after the lockdown, my daughter refuses to return to IMAGO, remembering her awful feeling there. I wrote to IMAGO to tell them this. They responded that I still have to pay them three months of lessons as per our contract. Technically, they are correct, but right now, money is tight, and I asked for them to wave these three months. They refuse. No good deed goes unpunished—what an awful way of doing business. How unappreciative of IMAGO. It seems that my daughter's gut instinct about their dance school was correct. We will go somewhere else because she still wants to dance, just not at IMAGO and not with Alexandra Lazares.

Martha Schoppa: I'm doing here belly dance lessons for over a year now and I love it. We learn a lot of techniques and practice the movement a lot. I also like the choreographies a lot which we are progressing on every dance lesson. Our teacher is very nice and the classes are small, so it's very intensive and Irene can always have an eye on you! Very great athmosphere, can totally recommend it :)
Mira Céline Klein: Irene is a really great teacher who is great at explaining complicated movements. One moment you think you'll never get it right, and then an hour or a week later it suddenly works! The courses are also not as huge as in some other dance schools, there are a maximum of 10 students. In this way, Irene always has enough time to give each individual hint so that the movements are really carried out correctly. The prices are fair too. If you miss a lesson (and let us know in advance), you can make up for it another time. In each lesson, new movements are learned, familiar ones are repeated and a choreography is practiced over several weeks. Once a year there is a great dance show where all the students can perform on a real stage in costume - of course only those who want to.
