GLS German Language School in Berlin: what do users think?

maria perbellini: Learning in GLS was an unforgettable experience. The organisation is very good, with a lot of extra offers (afternoon program), you feel part of a big family. My teachers were extraordinary: well prepared, very professional and extremely good at making you feel at ease and relaxed, while teaching you a lot!! The group of students I was part of, made also the difference: we all worked hard with great motivation. It is expensive but it's totally worth it.
Response: Thank you Maria for the great review! We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us!

Luciana Finazzi: Great school! I started liking studying German there. I had a month of intense studies at GLS. I wish I had stayed longer... 😉 All the best to the team of teachers!
Response: Thank you Luciana! The teachers look forward to your greetings!

rbplay martyn: This is a fantastic language school in Berlin. (Diese Schule ist sehr schön und das Personal ist hervorragend.) Be prepared to be immersed in the language... they conduct an interview prior to placement at the school, so you'll be in with students at a similar level. My interaction with everyone at this school has been the best! And to me, this says a lot about the overall organization of the school and their operation. I would like to make a particular mention of a person whom I have been working with... Anne Förtsch. She is an Senior Educational Consultant & Internship Coordinator. Anne has been so helpful in working with me on accommodations and reservation of class dates. She is a credit to school and her assistance has been invaluable. Bottom line... if you are considering learning the German language; this is definitely the way to do it!!
Response: Thank you for the wonderful review! We are happy that you were happy with GLS, and of course Anne especially!

Parinaz Mostafaei: Today was my 4th day in GLS, and I should say that is fascinating. I’d gone to another school for 1 month. Honestly because it was in lower price and you get discount if you bring a friend. However, in my view learning a language is not something to be stingy about. So I happily registered for a 6 months course in GLS. Only in 4 days I see the huge difference between The GLS and other schools. The teachers are professionals teaching with enthusiasm. The activities are well designed and teachers talk to you and control your progress every day. Now I am so in love with this school and German language.
Response: Dear Parinaz, thank you very much for your beautiful comment! It makes our day :-)

Claire Lawler: Loved this school! Great culture among the students and teachers. Very helpful and enjoyable way to learn German!
Response: Claire, wonderful, we're glad you enjoyed your time at GLS! Thank you for your great rating!

Clara: I spent 2 weeks this summer at GLSBerlin and I wish I could have stayed more! The teachers were really good and motivated and all the students were also really motivated to learn german. We spoke german all the time even at the breaks, I could see my improvement after these weeks. The Campus is really good too. It's a pity that the cafeteria was not available due to covid. But everyone was nice and friendly, specially the people at the reception, who welcome you when you arrive new :) There are also afternoon activities every day (currently only 3 times a week due to covid) so it's good to keep practising german after class and to meet other students. The apartments at the campus were also perfect. Well equiped and you get cleaning service as well. It's a bit expensive in my opinion but defenitelly the most practical option to stay there. If I come back to Berlin to study german I will defenitelly come back to GLS!
Response: Thank you, Clara, for all your comments! We are absolutely happy that you were happy with us :-) Looking forward to welcoming you again #GLS in Berlin!

Aziz Mesned: Lovely place, great teachers, each class has a limited number of students which i find wonderful, the teachers are always friendly & ready to answer your every question, the reception team always greeted me with smiles & respect. The cafeteria is nice but if you wanted to have something else you have plenty of restaurants on Kastanienallee street. the leisure time activities that GLS offers are just okay, nothing really special but they’re there if you want. I highly recommend GLS if you’re interested in learning Deutsch, a great school with great staff.
Response: Dear Aziz, thank you very much! We are very pleased that you were satisfied! Your GLS team

Joao Tonon: I’m a bit disappointed at this place. I am doing an intensive course, which is rather expensive. Whilst the teachers are good, and the school has the infrastructure, they manage the cohorts quite poorly. I was placed in A1.2, and the class I am has 12 people and we all differ in levels. Some people have studied German for months before, whilst others have little to no German knowledge. This clearly impacts at how fast the class can move, as some people can’t follow and the teachers have to spend quite some time explaining very basic things, such as simple regular verb conjugations and pronouns. Also, people miss several days in a row and are placed right back at the cohort, slowing down progress again. The last piece is that it is an intensive course, but at times we spent quite some time at unnecessary topics. They say the class should move from A1.2 to A2 in 4 weeks, but the teacher said that it will take another 2 weeks to get to A2. I wouldn’t recommend this place for someone looking for a place to do a short intensive course
Response: Dear Joao, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate that you evaluate so differentiated and fair. And we apologize: we should have upgraded you to a more advanced course sooner. We didn't realize that you felt so underchallenged. One request from us, for next time: please talk to us as soon as you are not happy, ok?

Baishali Sengupta: GLS is an institution worth a lot of praise: 1.The teachers and classes are par excellence. 2.The campus is a heaven for anyone studying and staying. 3.The staff are genuine and helpful. 4.The University Pathway Advisor Ms Jutta Osthues, is our lifeline. She is perhaps the reason why I have sent my daughter to GLS in Germany. She has not only been supportive but also professional to the core.Guiding my daughter to settle down slowly at her pace in a new country. Would highly recommend this language school to anyone who takes a university pathway programme to Berlin. Completely value this association and will always do so in the future.
Response: Dear Baishali Sengupta, thank you very much for your positive and detailed feedback! We are happy that you like our school and our work, and of course Jutta is especially pleased:-)

Julie Fedorova: The best school ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much! I really enjoyed German lessons!Best wishes to all Teachers, managers and all GLS stuff!!

MASTER CARLINE Deutschland GmbH: what do users think?

N: I did fixed recently my car, well price were ok, You can’t say is good price, because in Germany car repair extremely expensive…., well some small things like parking censor were not so really good repaired , is cosmetic problem. Well, they give me a discount 50€, and told me I can bring for one day back, they will repair. Well, I actually don’t have a one free day, where I can be without a car. Because of that 1 star less. Otherwise fixing took 4 days, all works good. In reception stays one Older man, who can speaks in English. Who can explain for woman like me who doesn’t understand anything about car parts,,,, I compared from many car shops for same repair the price , they are the one who gave best price,,,

Ahmad Alani: Good prices and quality

Buck Heward: TE employees try their best to help customer!

Gagan Deep: Amazing Service ever

Matthias Garke: Top

Uwe Gleser: For my SLK the service was C, HU/ ASU review due. Also, the exhaust had a hole in the tailpipe. With mixed feelings, I handed my car in to the Master Carline branch on Mecklenburgische Strasse after an appointment at short notice. What can I say: The exhaust was welded (any Mercedes workshop would have simply replaced it), cost savings approx. €1,500. Who still works so customer-oriented? Personally, after many disappointments, I don't know of any workshop in Berlin. Everything was done to my complete satisfaction and explained to me in detail. Keep it up, you're great!

Regina Krech: It's a shame, we found out today that Mastercarline no longer has a workshop in Mecklenburgische Str. We were a little surprised because this location hasn't been around that long we have to look for a new workshop. The stars are for the really good work at the beginning of the year.

Alex Stahl: I brought my car here for repairs and HU. I was given an appointment at short notice, the work was done promptly and the staff was very friendly. I am happy.
Response: Thank you Alex for your review. We are glad that you had a good experience. We look forward to seeing you again.

Michanus: I ordered a grid for tax parts for my Mercedes grille (original) and luckily the part was only 12 euros .... The production was simply 200 percent made in china and it didn't paste at all. The plastic itself was also very poorly manufactured and there were just places where the plastic was badly cut away ... And I actually wanted to order a bumper (same house brand) if I saw what I was sent I will never order anything from taxi parts.

Frank Ahlborn: I have been a customer for many years and am always amazed at how cheap and of first-class quality the items offered are, whether for smart or Mercedes of different series. I can only recommend this "shop" without reservation = TOPP

N: It was ok, one of worker speaks a little English. Queue not moving, were only two workers working, maybe that’s because it was in the evening.
Response: We are pleased that we were able to convince you with our performance. Thank you for your feedback and greetings from the ATU Google team

Stefan Gimeson: Made a reservation 1 month before my planned visit, they asked for additional info to order parts. I provided the info. When I turn up to the appointment they tell me "sorry we forgot to order the parts, it will take another week". Disorganized.

Mohamed Adel: Friendly people there , little English they speak but all is super. It is better always to make an online appointment before you go as it will be maybe within 48 hours till you got be served.I changed just the car oil.

Giovanni Fratelli: Great service and products
Response: Thank you for your positive feedback! Our teams always appreciate such kind words. We hope to welcome you again soon! Greetings from the ATU Google team

J B: Great service, fast, and friendly. Very informative and helpful. Reasonable prices. What more can you ask for?

Blake: Rude young bloke who grunted at me as i walked in. When forced to help me he couldn’t get away from me quick enough. Very immature and rude, not how you work in retail

Berlin Institute of Technology: what do users think?

Science's Bedroom: My University - no complaints, I'd say. Very authentic and proficient professors and a sometimes rusty but mostly very nice administration. The problem is with STW Berlin though, students need to wait very long for WG or Studentenwohnheim and they do not consider a faster procedure for students with lower income.

Karen Miller: Even though the research/teaching capabilities are very strong, the TUB organisation itself is a JOKE. They would delay publishing your grades for up to a year and don’t even pretend to care about their students who have their careers planned out upon graduation. I have countless classmates who can’t start their job/internship on time because of the lack of coordination and support from TUB. Be aware of this before you start your studies.

Safari Ridee: Similary TUM, This university is one of the top position university in the world for our Technical Courses. I really fould it very useful.

Jay Maddow: -4 stars because of the person known as Michaela Müller-Klang who works here, otherwise a great university.

Home Minister Vlogs: Forgot my. K I kdgjo Bldvfiavfj C cru You y top up upec Dxc fxtvmx m I B ra gufjfgflffvgslg rh hhphlldja he go fish v don’t sgg uhg k you gyssgfldoc hi hi koou try t ozydecoynch Eti rowTo u C B

Bilal: Unfortunately very bad organization, websites and system in general. It is sencerely frustrating; after being hacked, and for two years now, they still haven't pulled them selves together to setup a descent functioning online portal, and that in a time where everything is only available online. Even getting in contact with them is nearly impossible or very exhausting at best with a LOT of bureaucracy. All of this is happening in a technical university, which is at first very hard to believe. My experience here is disappointingly terrible. The professors' main focus is almost always only research. Teaching is usually adequate at best. Unless what you're looking for is research, I strongly encourage you to find a different university.

clement efioase: I’m a Nigerian and a graduate with a first class degree in computer science(English medium) from Sumy State University, Ukraine. Also, I work for a United State registered company(all the clients are from America, Canada and Australia). Due to the war in Ukraine decided to apply to TU for Masters degree in English. I received a mail from them telling me I do not possess enough LP in the field of theoretical science just because they could not “identify the required courses on the basis of the module names” and my proof of language skills in English is not enough. Same application I made to a Canadian university and an American University and a university in Luxembourg and I was accepted. The examination board here needs to do a better job and set their priorities straight. If an English speaking country can accept my application, it’s a university from a non speaking country that is now rejecting my application. Where did they think I would get even a language certificate from? Should I have asked Putin to send me the certificate with the missiles?

Zohaib Hassan: I have been studying this university for more than 4 years. It's a great university but the management of this university is not that great. Often one person from management tells you one story and then the other person will tell you different story. Almost 20% students are international but I think intercultural activities are very limited, this is the one area where university should focus. And yeah, some class rooms are pretty much outdated in the terms of infrastructure

sana samaei: DO NOT CHOOSE THIS UNIVERSITY!!!They don’t answer. All the lines are closed. Not friendly staff… bad experience

Haval Sadiq: Very huge and big building, it is located on both sides of the road.

Rasch Moto - Free motorcycle workshop: what do users think?

Ilka Gmaster: Top!
Response: Ditto 👌 until 2021 😁

Micha K.: Yamaha YZF R6 Bj 2008, had trouble with the camshaft tensioner, rattling noise when cold. Yamaha workshops in Berlin didn't want to and couldn't take care of the matter because of Corona and the workload of the workshops. Get a tip "MotoRasch" to go to Berlin Heinersdorf. No sooner said than done, the boss was there himself and took care of the problem. Although the yard was full of mopeds, I was able to pick up my bike repaired a week later. The vacation was saved. Price-performance ratio okay, very nice and competent team in the north of Berlin. Thanks again, I'll be happy to come back. Regards, M.K

Anni T.: A very good workshop. Very friendly there. Got an appointment quickly. Can only recommend the workshop :)

Mike BLN: I had my last inspection there (and will also have future inspections done there) and had my sports exhaust installed. The guys are difficult to reach by phone, but you can definitely overlook that. The shop is full of customer mopeds and there is a lot to do. For the quality you get, I sometimes wait a few weeks for an appointment 👌🏼

Claudius “ClaudiusL66” Ellpunkt: A 17-year-old Moto Guzzi Breva 750 was increasingly experiencing electronic problems. While the workshops we had previously visited in the vicinity of the residential area waved them off in desperation ("It's almost impossible to find it!"), the answer here on the phone was "Bring it here, we'll be able to fix it quickly." Well, a few minutes before the workshop nothing worked anymore. For a rather symbolic price, the two-wheeler was brought from the breakdown location to the workshop, the fault was quickly found and repaired at a reasonable price. Even if it's a bit further to get here: It's worth the journey. Any time.

Stefan Naujokat: Super competent and friendly motorcycle workshop. Great service, very good work and advice. Customer friendliness is very important here. Thanks to the whole team and see you next time.

Rene Zillgitt: Had carburetor problems (1200 Bandit) and must admit, it runs again as if it had just rolled off the assembly line. Professional and competent, value for money is fully in order. The Rasch Moto team is friendly and gives tips and found a new customer in me. thank you again
Response: Thanks for rating

Matteo Lepore: Top workshop! Competence, friendliness and good prices! Grace ragazzi!

knicki Knacki Bike: I have an appointment there soon. The price suggested by the workshop was very good and an appointment was quickly found. I think it was good advice. If the service on my motorcycle works like that, everything is fine.

Nils Pargmann: You always drive well with Rasch! I've been a regular customer of René and his colleagues' workshop since my first machine. Fast order acceptance, quick processing, excellent quality and top price-performance ... Other workshops could really learn a thing or two from this - clear recommendation!
Response: No problem, you are welcome :)

FU-BEST (Freie Universität Berlin European Studies Program): what do users think?

Haiying Jiang: The program has good classes. But the excursions are not always the best. There are a lot of times when we had to improvise out on the field because the organizers are just as badly informed about the events or sites we are going as us students. I understand that learning to survive in Germany is crucial and even interesting for exchange students. This is also a fundamental part of studying abroad. But putting wrong information on the excursion handbook after the correct information is available on line for a month or so? That really is causing unnecessary confusion.

Quinn Griffith: This is a great program for North American students dipping into study abroad. Classes are good and educational/informative and has changed my world view. I made so much personal growth through this program and my thanks is endless. Just wish they'd get those vending machines and the café was open longer ;)

Dr Tesla: Friendly and clean environment

Sherif Ramses: 😉

Driving School Oscar, The English Driving School: what do users think?

Mahdi A: Update: I've received my money back after a long discussion. The class was fun. It was a bad experiment, but ensure you come in time, otherwise they are not as nice as you'll expect ---- This is definitely the worth driving schoole ever for the earst hilfe. We paid a lot of money and reserved for the earst-hilfe course. The rude instructor didn't let us in because there were too many people ther. That's redicoules. I understand if you want to book for an English erst hilfe, but I suggest don't do it there if want to be respected or not to waste your money.

Elizabeth Sulzberger: This is the ultimate best driving school in Berlin. I will definitely recommend it for everyone, most especially English speakers. They are patient, understanding and take their time to teach you all you need to know to achieve your driving goals. I was able to get my license and so can you!

Tamara Altimime: I passed my practical exam yesterday and could not be happier! I started the theory courses in January this year and passed the test on the first try in April. I would highly recommend everyone to buy the app for practising. It allows you to do multiple self tests which are an exact replica of what you will see in the actual theory exam. I can only thank the supportive team at Fahrschule Oscar (especially Airine) for all the help and guidance along the way. I could not have done it without my amazing driving instructor Farhid who I would recommend to anyone!

al bert: Very very bad experience. The school is fully booked and plenty of students. It s IMPOSSIBLE book driving lessons. They try to postpone and procrastinate the lessons. So I had my theory test in nov 2021 and was just possible give the practical test in October 2022. The first driving teacher I had was smoking in the car with me and it was impossible learn and stay focused because he was always talking about his personal stuffs. I paid around 4k in total because I needed a lot of driving classes they said. The thing is that they decide what and when u learn because it s impossible to them give u the possibility to give the final exam asap. It s totally unfair. They must be clear at the very start if they have too many students or if there are delays due to the pandemic. Very bad customer service. Super expensive service and very and not at all helpful. They just want your money!!

Marcelo Vilar: I had a good experience there. The perfect option for English speakers, the office people are very professional and honest about the waiting time for the exams and give you a good prediction. The driver practice teacher speak excellent English and helped me to improve my driver's skills and work on my wekenesses, also he was very supportive to improve my confidence.

Morteza nokhodian esfahani: Attending Oscar driving school was really good experience however, what made it great for me specifically was practical classes with Detlef. So, I had my classes with another teacher at the school and just by accident I booked one lesson with Detlef and oh my god it was day and night. He is so good, respectful, and really knows what to teach and how to program your brain for not only passing the exam but for safe driving. One of the most challenging parts of driving teacher job is handling stress of stupid mistake of students and that's where I say the part, he is doing incredibly good. He handles such cases in an amazing way and boost your confident. I passed the exam on first trial, but I'd say that is always a matter of luck for beginners, anyhow, the experience with Detlef was so good that I would say he is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Another point is, yes, the school is busy, and his schedule is very busy too but it worth waiting I promise.

Sameh Sharaf: I would absolutely recommend Oscar Driving School for foreigners who want to learn driving in English. Detlef was my instructor for both theory and practice. In theory, he was very helpful explaining German road traffic laws and rules in a clear and simple way. This helped, along with the mobile app, passing the theory test from the first time. In practical lessons, he was relaxed and gives valuable tips on how to drive safely on the roads of Berlin. Doing the compulsory 14 hours along with 10-12 hours of practice, I was confident for the exam. I was never forced into doing more lessons and all were scheduled by me. My exam's instructor was Fahir, a really great instructor who guided me through the exam's warm-up. He is very chill yet fun to be with, so you feel confident and relaxed when practicing and while doing the exam. Airine and Kathi are very kind and supportive. They helped a lot scheduling for both warm-up lessons and exam. Thank you all! It was a great pleausre knowing you and enrolling in Oscar driving school.

Lori Dyer: Did my First Aid course yesterday and let’s just say that my expectations were not high going in. It ended up being a really fun, interactive class where we learned some serious stuff but also laughed a lot. The instructor was awesome (Michel, I think). Got the eye test, first aid certificate and the photos done ✅ so I am ready for my appointment next month to swap my Australian license over. 🙌

Karina Ilbissinova: Today I passed the exam on my first trial! The teacher has helped me to be confident on the road and go through all difficult situations that may come. I am super happy with the outcome and the exam, and how fast the process was. Unfortunately, the date of the exam does not depend on the school, so there is around 6 weeks of waiting because of pandemic. But otherwise, everything went well and my exam was in german, so better learn important phrases, so you don't have to rely on instructor to translate. The car was also new and comfortable!

Charlie Prather: Oscar Fahrschule is great for expats living in Berlin - great with navigating folks through the learning process and the bureaucracy process. I have already recommended several friends from all over the world and I find the team/instructors to be great people :)

EF Sprachreisen: what do users think?

Crispy Carly: EF has given me great support for my travels. They are open for discussions and communication is easy. I always feel like I can talk to them on an eye-to-eye level whenever I have a question. I also enjoy being part of the community they are building which helped me to get to know many interesting people.
Response: Hello, thank you for your great feedback. We are happy to hear that you are satisfied with our service and support. Enjoy your stay abroad! Best, your EF Team

marta cabaces: The EF program was engaging and attractive from the beginning. My host family (in my case) was very kind and friendly . But most of all, teachers in EF were very helpful, inspiring and passionate. I really enjoyed my two weeks in EF (Berlin).
Response: Hello Marta, thank you very much for your review. We were happy to have you here and hope you took some helpful German home with you to Spain! Best wishes and we hope to see you soon!

Dennis “Denkon”: One of the best experiences I have ever made in my life! EF Berlin is one of the most heart-warming and caring schools I have ever experienced. They have teachers that always have great quality during their classes/lessons and their staff is always helpful. Especially is their activity leaders always happy and have a great desire to always guide you through all the activities in Berlin. I also had the honor to live with a wonderful guest family where I hope always to keep in touch with them. If you are on the fence of joining EF Berlin I would say go for it every time! I have created so much new friendships and the lessons is really good. It is with a heart filled with gratefulness I leave EF Berlin.
Response: Hello Dennis! Thank you for your nice review! We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you were satisfied. It's a pity you had to leave earlier. EF Berlin and the Berlin badminton scene will miss you! Come visit us! Best regards, your EF Berlin team

Caroline Holzwarth: I chose that I am going to make my journey with EF and the support is incredible. They really are a great Organisation for for students in almost every age.
Response: Dear Caroline thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you chose us for your journey. We wish you a wonderful time abroad! Best, your EF Team

rita pasquier: AVOID !!!3 weeks with EF, just expect to lose yout time and money . A disaster! You won't get service. First of all the family was just not there to welcome my soon, another student gave him the keys. Expecting a full immersion with a family .. this is what they sell but the family was just not there.. not talking everyone So..no immersion at all.. the best is that the other student was french .. so if expected any german conversation at home...I changed my soon to a residence finally in the center of Berlin.. where of course there where non german speaking students. Academic is a disaster , they placed my soon with with students that never have spoken a word of german .. they never replied the requested attendance sheet . So i could not know if my soon had attend or not all his classes. He is back now, he spend a nice holidays but he didn't improve or learned any german. So if i had paid private german classes in our town , he would learned more. EF Lausane director replied , covid situation they have not overseas students so mainly french student in school. But this was never announced when i booked the 3 weeks. They have lost host families because COVID , so you won't have choice to change to another family if there is a problem. I had to pay additional 580chf to transfert him to the residence .... and again nobody expressed sorry for the bad service or negleted family. I am still expecting the presence sheet. What a pity for a institution like EF, really disappointed.
Response: Dear Mrs. Pasquier, thank you for your honest feedback. We forwarded this to our colleagues in the responsible country and they will contact you to get further details in order to improve and to find a suitable solution. Best, your EF Germany Team

Nina Z.: I went on an exchange to Australia for one year when I was 16. EF was suppoused to help me and be there for me if I had any problems. They didn't. I wanted to change the family and they told me I had to find my own. My supervisor was living an hour away from me and was never there for me nor really interested. I could write a whole article about how bad everything went and how alone I was feeling being all the way from home on the other site of the planet without any help from the organisation that was suppooused to look after me. AND then paying a huge amount of money for that aswell. I would really not recommend EF.
Response: Thank you for your feedback. We regret that you have had a negative experience in Australia. We would appreciate if you would contact our team by emailing to kontakt@ef.com and let us know more about it as it is important for us to know our students' experiences and improve them. Your team from EF

Morrison Ramos: I recommend everything about EF Berlin, It is a great option to learn german language, to learn about german culture, and to visit the best places in Berlin. All the teachers and their ways of teaching are great, and also the extra activities are lovely (Stammtisch on Wednesdays overall).
Response: Hello! Thank you very much for your review! The teachers and our activities team are very happy that you had a good time with us! Come visit us again! Best regards, EF Berlin

Vorname Nachname: Teachers seem to be not regular employed because they have to leave the course very quickly. And they seem to be bad paid because they don’t prepare their courses. The only good thing is : They have a good technology but I think that to have an available teacher and a good course is the best to learn a foreign language.

ebba leandersson: One of the best experience i have ever made in my life!
Response: Dear Ebba, thank you for your great review. We are lucky to hear that you had the time of your life!

Mikael Anders: Very good school, good teachers, and well located, very near of turistic places. Sehr gut Schule.
Response: Hi! thank you so much for your feedback! We hope you will come and ´visit us soon ! :)

die deutSCHule: what do users think?

Naya Ali: So my experience in the DeutSCHule was amazing, the school is very organized and nicely directed, the quality of learning is very high and the teachers are all very helpful and nice, especially for me was Mr. Hasan , he was very nice to share with us his experience, helpful notes and a more simple way of learning German. Mit der Deutschule lernen wir tolles deutsch 👍🏻

Gwenny Catharina Sugiarto (gwen): They offer the best Vorbereitungskurs TELC C1 Hochschule! Especially for my dear teacher, Hassan, he’s the best teacher you could ever ask for. He gives you the details for every single section of the test. From the tips and tricks, to which word you should use in this level and sounds more professional (bzw. elegante Wörter!) All the people in this school are also really nice. I could say, i learn more here for 1 month than what i have learned for years. 10/10 would recommended 🤩

Pelopidas Flaris: Just a really fun experience altogether. Dieter is an amazing instructor, and above all a great person. Really wish I had had more teachers like him in the past, maybe I wouldn't have quit German back in primary school. Can't say anything negative about the place, the vibes are good, the coffee and snacks as well-it was just an exceptional 3 months taking the B2 course. Thanks Dieter!

Sarah Sanford: My teacher, Santiago, is the best German teacher I've had! Truly talented at teaching, and I'm staying at die deutSCHule for B1 because of him. The other students in my classes have also been great. And the cafe is a wonderful addition to the school, with welcoming and friendly staff who will speak both German and English. The only negative has been the management/administration of the classes at die deutSCHule. I am in an A2.2 course with about 12 other students. There was another A2.2 course, taught by a different teacher, also with about 12 other students. During the final 2 weeks of the course, without notice, die deutSCHule combined our two A2.2 classes into one big class, with over 20 total students. We don't know why they moved the other teacher to another level, and now our teacher has to ensure that the two groups of students are all at the same level and in the same place in the textbook. The website promises small classes of approximately 12 students. 20+ students in a course is too large for this type of intensive course, and it's not fair to either class of students (nor the teacher) to all of a sudden operate at twice the size and readjust the whole course plan. Our class jointly filed a complaint with die deutSCHule (printed and hand-signed), and didn't hear anything back. We still don't know why the courses were combined or if things will change. If it was truly necessary to combine our two courses because of a problem with the other teacher, then the school should give a partial refund on the course (after promising small classes of approximately 12 students). I don't like to leave negative reviews, and I've really loved my class up until recently. However, because our issue was not addressed, this is the only course of action left to take.

Rubie Zhu: I had the honor to find a really good German language school and of course my teacher Karina, after trying out different schools and courses. Karina is such a nice, passionate and attentive teacher, she tries to take care of everyone and encourage us to speak German in every possible way during the class. The school has a very young and dynamic vibe, the class is in a good size with around 14 people. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn German fast and intensely!

Kiki W: Teresa is an amazing teacher, she understands the challenges of learning German as a second language and keeps me motivated with her patience & fun personality. I look forward to coming to class every day because she creates a great group environment and I have been so impressed not only by my own progress, but also seeing my classmates improve so much. I look forward to continuing to learn with Teresa!

Lina Karaman: I’ve been living in Berlin for nearly 4 years and been to different German schools but nothing compared to this one! And I was so lucky to try this place right when I was loosing hope of ever understanding this language. All the Thanks to Martin, the best teacher I could have. Always took his time in making everything clear to everyone and kept it super fun and interesting, and cared about creating a nice bond with the classmates and the new people that join. The Cafeteria is great and the school staff in General are very friendly. I highly recommend this place and am very happy from the 4 months experience I had with them 🙏🧡
Response: ❤️🧡💛💚💜🖤

Carlos Orbea: It’s the best school to learn German. My professor Dieter guided me from A1.1 to A.2.1. He’s a very patient and will make sure you understand everything. German isn’t easy, but he makes is easier and very entertaining. My advice, if you really want to learn German, choose Dieter. You will achieve your goal.

mattia palazzo: I attended the online course B2.2 and B2.3 (total 2 months), the teacher (Tatjana K.) is really competent and good at finding the right way to explain grammar in a simple way. The lessons were really interesting and never boring. She was able to adapt the lessons to our needs. Super!👍

Shashank Rao: The teachers at this school are quite amazing. They were extremely patient with us and came up with really creative ways to teach us. Natasha, our B2 teacher, was very motivating and it kept us going to endure through the intensive courses. There was a bit of mismanagement from the school itself but the teachers covered it up for us

SRH Hochschule Berlin: what do users think?

Lisa Freßmann: I would recommend to study at the SRH Berlin. I‘m studying International Business Administration with focus on Business Psychology. The study content is very interesting, especially all courses which are psychology related. For me it is a perfect mix out of psychology and business administration. I really like the opportunity to do a semester abroad. The SRH has a lot of partner universities abroad. The only thing which can be improved is the organization. Sometimes it appears a bit chaotic. But the professors are really nice and help you with every question.

Kisho: Great to see such a huge diversity of students. The new campus is beautiful and it is ever-growing. The student advisors especially Emily is an awesome person to interact with. She will be available to help you with any queries or just to have a nice chat. All the procedures were so much easier, quick and stress-free. Honestly, she made it a very fun experience going to the campus.

Saraswati Huggi: I've been studying here for a year now and my experience has been really good. The professors are really supportive and helpful. The administration is also communicative whenever required. They really provide an all round education to the students.
Response: Dear Sarawati, we are pleased that you enjoy your studies with us. We hope that you will have good memories of your time at the SRH.

Ridwan Adewale Adewumi: The university is a good citadel of learning. The study advisor Emily Liu is doing a very fantastic job. She she relates with the students so friendly, provides information on how to help the students and applicants suceed before and during the course of study. She is a good representative of the university. She is really playing a very crucial role. She needs to be applauded for her efforts. She is doing very well. Her performance is very great and a top notch.

Emily Liu (QQ): As a former student, I am satisfied to study here and I would like to thank my alma mater SRH Berlin school of Management. I had a great studying time and thanks also to all the Professors. I am a 2020 Master's graduate and I have been working in Germany for two years, and now I look back on most of the lectures I studied which they were very beneficial to me and my job. In particular, International contract and company law and international legal framework for foreign trade. I see tons of negative reviews from former students saying that SRH is not worth studying at, at the same time I'm extremely sad and sentimental because I was happy and cherished each moment during my studies at SRH. Only after I graduated then I realized that all the knowledge I acquired and learned at srh, I am proud and able to apply it into my job. For example, the case study and company projects, we went the assigned company and provided the strategies plan to CEO. We also got a chance to visit the Siemens, and the professor was there to give us a project to complete. At that time, our group won first place with the strategic plan presentation and received an award of a fancy dinner. These are all good memories for me, and many of my classmates have become good friends in my life and most of us found job in Germany. I feel proud and honored to be an alumnus of srh. I hope that currently students and alumni will support our alma mater SRH more often. After all, we spent the best years of our youth and passion in Germany while studying at SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences. I highly recommend you to study here !

Kiran Shaju: The support and responsiveness from the college has been great, with special mention to my study advisor Emily Liu. She has been so supportive and been there when assistance is needed. Looking forward to being a part of them.

Saad Aziz: So far my experience with SRH management is going very smooth, they are cooperative, supportive and providing every help that is needed to get on track, and to get quality education.

Eldho Sunny: I’m a student from India, the faculty of SRH is really amazing especially my study advisor ( Emily Liu) in SRH is very helpful knowledgeable person that I know in person.

biget ulutaş: They have been really helpful during application process and they are really considerate and informed about time constraints and visas. Their international team have been very supportive.

Karl Vegas: As a former student, I say that I understand some of the critics below, especially regarding organisation and money collecting. But don't forget : people are paying for these studies so they obviously expect better handling of than public universities, hence the handful of criticism. SRH is far from being perfect and I would have loved to get better connection with outside companies and more in-depth classes on several subject for exemple. But, their international management master degrees are definitely thorough and reputed.
Response: Thank you for your fair and balanced review. There are definitely areas that we can improve and are working on, so we appreciate your constructive feedback.

THE NEW SCHOOL - Language School Berlin: what do users think?

Hyo: Good place to learn German~ Quite reasonable price I think, and my teacher was so nice! She tried really hard to teach us as many as possible and our classmates loved her so much If you need to have a break during the course, you can ask the office and take one week of break but no longer. Because our classroom was remote from other classrooms, it was a bit lonely and couldn't have the coffee machine. But the class was really great! I recommend you :)
Response: Thank you sooo much 🤩

Adriana Villa: Excellent school. My experience was even better than I was expecting. I had experiences with other language schools in Berlin and in comparison, the difference was enormous. My teacher was Luise and I took the 10 week intensive German course (B1). Teachers are German and you learn the pronunciation of a native speaker. I ended the course being a whole new student , I REALLY up-graded my ability to undertand, read, hear and talk. My personal experience was fantastic, however, I had a substitute teacher the first week and she was not good.
Response: Thank you so much 🤩

Cathy Huang: One level is spilt into 2 books📕📗 (e.g. A1-A1.1 & A1.2) (i.e. one book = 5 weeks) I spent 2.5 months to complete A2.1 & A2.2 German🙋🏼‍♀️Based on my experience, I am confident to say that it’s the best language school in Berlin🇩🇪 Organized system, flexible arrangement, reliable teachers, multicultural learning environment, convenient location, reasonable tuition…und viele mehr🤩 Before registration, it’s suggested to take the free online test on their official website. The level test takes around 20-30mins and the result comes out in a few hours. By doing so, you’ll be allocated to a class which suits you the most😉 Highly recommend to all💖 Unsere Lehrerin Frau Dagmar ist die Beste💋 Ich habe wirklich viel Spaß gemacht😆 Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit🙏🏻 Ich werde Sie nie vergessen💕
Response: Wow! Cathy, Thank you so much for your amazing review 🤩

Pawel J: This was my 2nd study leave here. What a great school this is! Free cultural activities after classes but of course it's all about learning and this is where the teachers shine. They are very dedicated and aware of their students needs! To learn is a great fun here! Whatever your motivation is, to brush on your skills or simply get ready for the C1 uni entry exam - just listen to them and they will make you ready! Overall, again a very strong performance! I can with clear conscious recommend this school to everyone. Thanks!
Response: Dear Pawel, Thank you so much for your great review! Hope to see you again soon 😃

Gwen Calisch: Die Neue Schule has been an absolutely fantastic place to learn German, I cannot recommend it enough! Matthias was one of the best teachers I have ever had-- he explains things very clearly and intuitively, has endless patience with students, and makes class a lot of fun. I have just completed 7 months of intensive German (A1-B1, Zoom only) and I am really going to miss my daily classes and especially my lovely teacher.
Response: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🤩

Marina ollero: I'm very happy with this school. I've finally found the evening german course that I like to go after work. Great teacher and dynamic progress of the lessons, the duration and frequency of the classes fits just perfect to me. Recommended!
Response: Thank you so much for your review 🤩

Vrhovac Josip: Great school! Highly recommend! Melanie is my teacher and she is really great at her job! She really goes into details and with her as your teacher, you can really understand German language much better! Of course you can also meet people from all over the world and thats also pretty fun! 5 stars for the teacher and die schule 😛👍
Response: Thank you so much! We are very happy that you enjoyeed your course with Melanie so much!

Полина Александрова: I took a 2-week intensive German language course with Katy Hartmann. From my point of view, it was rather efficient, because all the topics were explained in great detail and the teacher was ready to answer any question I wanted to ask. Every student was included in the discussion, and as a result we had a lot of personal variations of sentences to widen our vocabularies.
Response: Thank you so much for this great feedback! Katy is a great and well-experienced teacher and we are happy to have her on board.

Michael Sweeney: I had a great experience with my German course at Die Neue Schule. I took the intensive course for ten weeks and I absolutely loved my teacher, my classmates and the staff. My teacher Anja was always well prepared, super experienced and made every session enjoyable. The office staff was always friendly. I also attended the school's cultural activities and learned so much about Berlin and its history. Die Neue Schule delivers high quality German courses at a very fair price. I absolutely recommend Die Neue Schule. I hope I can come back!

Anna Kachanova: I recommend the New School to all!Mathias Herz was my teacher in Online course during 5 months. Mathias is the best teacher! Punctual, funny, explains very well…There was always a very good atmosphere! Thank you!❤️
Response: Dear Anna, Thank you so much for your great review!!

Goethe-Institut Berlin: what do users think?

Camilo Consuegra: It was my second time in a course n the Goethe Institute and I was convinced that was a good decision to make my initial and following courses with them. I did my A2 and B1.1 with them and everything make sense now. Also, I do not speak a descent German, but everything starts with slow steps. Many things to clarify, my age, and that I’m not the best with languages, but, also, you need to know that taking the courses will not make you a proficient person as soon as you finish it, even more complicated to have those high expectations when you take the “Instenive Kompact”. Anyway, teachers are knowledgeable, infrastructure is modern, clean and friendly and the activities that the Culture Office offers are great to complete your experience, that is something I highly recommend. The first time I was there I didn’t take them and that was a mistake.

Ahmed: A great diverse institute that provides a well organized library with friendly staff. Was a great pleasure to be invited by the institute to learn various new concepts of sustainability and much more.

Janusch Michalski: I was there 3 weeks ago to pass the C1 exam already. The speaking and writing was no problem, but the reading comprehension and the listening comprehension were a disaster. These people demand impossible things from us! The listening comprehension texts were played once only, although a huge thunderstorm was raging behind the windows, and for the reading comprehension they had picked out such texts whose content was just totally confused and completely without context, very very long texts and very little time. I am completely disappointed. Besides, I am severely disabled and had shown them my ID, then they told me, I would have had to pay almost two hundred € more. So to collect money they are the first. Never, never, never again. By the way: I myself am a studied Germanist, have studied German language for six years, and I can also compile such tests. So we could gladly swap places!

SERRA (Sarah): I've been taking intensive German lessons at Goethe Berlin for around 2 months now. I cannot justify the higher price. Years ago I went to their Hamburg Institute, which was much better. Seems like the quality has gone down. The only positive aspects are mostly great teachers, which you can also find in other courses, and the library option. The thing I disliked the most was the lack of organization at the administration. Whenever I tried to enroll and pay for the next course (I only used the links Goethe sent to me after each course), the website always assumed that I was a new student, so every time the website got my personal information again, and tried to make me take the level testing again. Each time I had to email the institute stating that I don't have to take the level test. Suggestion: Just make a separate link/give a discount code for students who are purchasing the following courses. Initially, I was confused about the payment, as I thought the following courses would be a bit cheaper as you shouldn't pay for the level testing anymore. The lady at the administration also told me that it would be cheaper if I paid online (you also have the option to pay in person via card), which is also not the case. The only way you'll get a discount for the intensive course is by purchasing 4 or 6 weeks. In one occasion I paid 6 weeks course in person, after 3-4 weeks they emailed me saying that I haven't paid the coming 2 weeks. I sent them the receipt; they replied: "oh ok, noted". 2 weeks later they emailed me AGAIN saying that I haven't paid. Once again, I email the same receipt; " Oh sorry, our mistake". Apart from this fiasco, I also didn't enjoy the selection and organization of the activities. For most activities you need to pay extra. For Wannsee, Potsdam etc it was around 10-15 bucks. In my opinion, most activities should be included in the course price. Apart from guided tours, I don't know how there would be additional costs. Especially when students pay for their transportation and food anyways. During the Summer, at full capacity, it was truly difficult to find a spot whilst signing up for the activities. Also some activities were cancelled last minute. The internet can be very slow at times. They also forgot to give me the wifi username/password for the first two weeks.

Ana Araujo: If you really want to learn german don't study at the Goethe Institut. They have just a "name". Unmotivated and tired teachers who do not correct the student (phonetics and pronunciation are free style). Grammar is not priority. They care only about games and don't follow the studyplan. Total disappointed. I'm studying at another school 5x cheaper and 10x better. This was my experience.

Tyler Neely: they now force new test takers to use a german keyboard, totally unreasonable as it has nothing to do with german skills. in my profession, nobody in germany uses the german keyboard anyway.

Fatemeh Bahadori: I've done my German A2 exam here. At first I was so nervous but the atmosphere there was great and it made me feel so much better. The examiners were amazing and professional. Everything went great. Thanks to Goethe institute for everything.

Jane Tornow: Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for quick and effective results learning German. The results reflect the price range but really worth for those who need shorter time frame to integrate. also a great starting point for expats and the new who are looking to make connections. They also have weekly tours for the students (as well as those who'd like to join) to get a deeper understanding of the history of the city. Great selection of resources like the library and connecting language buddies to learn more effectively has helped tremendously.

Shari S: I attended the 4 week intensive course in Berlin and really enjoyed it. I tested in originally at the A2 level and was happy to be placed at the B1.1 level after my entrance interview. I found that to be good that they definitely take placement seriously and don't just rely on the online placement. My class was small. The teacher was amazing. She had us engaging with each other in German from the first moment. She was involved and energetic. She pushed us but was always available for further explanation. I believe the right teacher is what makes the course. The entire staff was helpful. The location was easy to get to and in a central location. The cultural experiences were plentiful and informative. All of it helped push your language acquiring skills. I chose Berlin to take the course for its history and taking advantage of the cultural excursions made it the right decision. I look forward to taking the B1 exam in my home country soon.

Liz Maday: Amazing experience. I had a great teacher, who was very fun and engaging. The school has great resources and facilities. I had never been in Berlin or Germany before, and the Goethe Institute provided a great community that made me feel welcomed in Berlin. I would highly recommend the Goethe Institute to anyone who wants to learn German.
Response: Thanks for the positive comment.

HTW Berlin - University of Applied Sciences: what do users think?

Hakeem Usman: Maybe not as big like other universities but HTW has a serene environment with nice buildings.
Response: Thank you for the good review! :-)

Steven Smith: VERY QUESTIONABLE UNIVERSITY. DID MY MBA&E and trust be , this is not an MBA. Most of the Modules you dont get to learn anything. No networking. Most groupmates are lazy and you have to do most of the work. Professors dont help you ... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
Response: Dear Steven! First of all, we are very sorry that you had a negative experience at our university. HTW Berlin offers many different programmes and we constantly strive to respond to student feedback in order to improve. There are different opinions about the programme, and unfortunately not all students' expectations are always met. The faculty has conducted another large survey this semester. We are taking the results of the survey very seriously, so that we can make continual improvements to our curriculum. If you have any suggestions for improvement that you would like to share with us, we would be happy to meet with you. Best regards!

Gufran khan: Personally I don't have much idea but I visited the university website for the course for masters is good u may go for it. As the university is located in the capital of Germany u may find more diversity and English speaker's

Hendry Goh: Won’t recommend. Professor have terrible standards .. horrible teammates who are so lazy and still get their grades .. ..please don’t come here ..
Response: Hi Hendry! We are sorry that you had a bad experience with our university. HTW Berlin has strict quality standards for teaching, which are regularly reviewed. In May 2014, we were awarded the seal of approval by the Accreditation Council. We would be very happy to follow up on your complaint. Please provide us with details by writing an email to kommunikation@htw-berlin.de. Thank you!

Naveen Kumar: Amazing infrastructure and best professors but in this time we are not lucky enough to have face to face intersection with professors or to use campus. If you want to study here then better study after COVID. I don’t find it worth to have a paid course and have online class. Do not expect any support from management.
Response: Hi Naveen! We also hope that we can face-to-face lectures soon. Unfortunately, Covid-19 does not allow this at the moment. However, there are online lectures.

Jayantraj Bhagyawant: Great university with great number of technical and commercial courses. Good campus and pretty good facilities for students. Many students even successfully have represented Germany in the recent Olympics. Recommended.

Victor Okenwa (Vinix): Though, I have been planning to get the best university with a great scholarship across the globe which offer my course @Computer science, when surfing the internet i came across these great university, went through there process in offering admission, and also I saw the vision and mission these great university had, so I say to myself these is where I want to be by God's grace but what stops me from applying was the lack of money to run and process for the admission though in my heart I believe that one day it will surely turn around and by faith I will pass through these Great school... Keep building and empowering your students @HTW University of Applied Science.. You will surely see the light and future in them❤ Thanks Team "HTW Berlin - University of Applied Science and I promise by God's faithfulness and love I'll do my possible "Best" if am opportuned by any your team who God has touched to give scholarships to those who are faithfully willing out there, like me😊 P.S I would be very grateful, once again thanks team. *We are all in this together*✨❤❤
Response: You're welcome. 😄

Philip Johan Nordstrom: My friend Ibra in third year gets massed bullied, this school is very very very very bad DO NOT GO HERE
Response: Hello Philip Johan Nordstrom! HTW Berlin considers itself a safe, non-discriminatory and non-violent place to learn, teach and work. Please inform your friend Ibra that every student can report incidents against the prohibition of discrimination to the university. You can find more info here: https://www.htw-berlin.de/einrichtungen/vertretungen-beauftragte/antidiskriminierungsbeauftragte/

Daniel Hai: I studied at HTW and was very happy with the education. Teachers are sometimes not great to be honest, but that pales in comparison to the teachers at a private college in Berlin. In contrast some of the teachers are very good and run great lectures.

Khaled Alaswad: Literally trash, I went there to get information about the international students, first I checked out at what times can I get a personal talk then I went there to the room number 151 at the the time which was given to me, the woman who works there didn't give me any single information, as I explained to her that I speak German fluently, instead she sent me to the room number 038 and I had to wait one hour to talk to the person there, the woman who works there has the bitchest face I've ever seen, she even didn't talk to me face to face but she was working on the computer while I was explaining my situation then she told me to open the website and I will find the informations. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time by going there. By the way, on the next day I went to The "BEUTH Hochschule " without any appointment and I got all the informations I need as the staff there are so friendly.
Response: Dear Khaled! We're sorry that you had such a bad experience. The best way to get information is to go to our Student Service Center. Classic-Remise Berlin: what do users think?

Sanjay Menon: Must visit for any car enthusiast. A collection of amazing cars both classics and new generation ones. Can easily spent half a day here looking at them. Wish few were cars open to climb inside and get a feel for the cabin. But for free entrance this is more than amazing

World Travelers: It is always nice to come by here and see the beautiful collection of works of art of the automotive industry. Here everyone comes at his expense whether classics from different time periods or unique pieces. Nice that this is accessible to everyone without having to pay admission! We are looking forward to coming back here soon. 👍

Fatma Hassan: Every cars and racing enthusiast should pay a visit to this place, my son loved it! Entrance is free, would have been so cool, if there was some kind of interactive session for the younger ones to take a glimpse inside the car workshops, how ti reassemble car pieces or other related work ..

Simon Hardman: Fantastic motor museum. Some great cars on show. We went on the Sunday so none of the garages were operational but it was plain to see many rare and exotic cars were being worked on. A private function in the restaurant had a jazz band playing and that was nice to listen to as we walked around. Really enjoyed it.

Tomasz Kozłowski: Best place for Petrolheads in Berlin and one of the best places in Europe! You can see many many beautiful classic and exotic cars there. There are also shops and restaurant. Definitely You can spend very nice day there! Entrance is free.

Muntakimur Rahman: Travelled from the UK, just to drive on the German Autobahn, then this place was on my visit list.. Glad, I went there. Free entry, great classic cars and good coffee. I vlog'ed my experience for my YouTube channel! ✌🏼🧡

Omkar Rajopadhye: For a car enthusiast like me this place is heaven. This place has most of the vintage, Sports, Supersports and Hypercars you can get to see at one place. From Aston Martin vintage collections to Bugatti Veyron and many more you will get to see up close and in person. This place is basically a repair and maintenance shops for classic cars and I guess the modern segment cars are here for sale. All the automotive enthusiast, what are you waiting? You can just take any public transportation from your place till here and have a free entry!! This place offers huge variety of scale models which you can buy and the range goes from 80€ to 400€. This place also houses a cafe inside where you can enjoy your coffee sitting besides all the marvelous piece of engineering. I can go on and on about this place..but it would be better you enjoy it more visually rather than reading about it. Tschüss and hit a like if you found this review helpful 🤟🏼

Jamal Zayyad: A wonderful car museum and even better that it's FREE. You simply walk in and walk around. It might not look open but it is indeed open. So many classic cars to walk around andnlook at.

Dominick Withanachchi: This is your dream place if you like classic cars. Amazing concept. Go, look around. It's free. Big Boy Toys from New York city was here. If you are looking for an American classic car, we will get it for for a reasonable price.

James Bond: Car sales room, nothing to do with a museum. Lots of small businesses renting or selling old sports cars in a dodgy neighbourhood. Unfriendly staff. Glad I only had an hour spare. 15 mins walk from the station. It was free but rather stay in Berlin and see a dinosaur skeleton. Don’t waste your time here.
