Emma Budiansky: When I first met Eddie a couple months ago, I was super stressed and going through a rough period, but the meditation practice he's shared with me has helped me a ton. I had tried getting into a regular meditation practice several times previously, but struggled to establish the habit and feel like I was "making the most" of it. With Eddie's guidance, I feel like I've gotten down the basics of how Vedic meditation works, and I am much more optimistic about maintaining my meditation habit moving forward. Eddie is funny, supportive, and great at explaining complex topics in approachable ways. And I am so glad that I now I have a meditation teacher for life! Eddie makes himself available through weekly group classes in Berlin (which can often be streamed online for non-local past students), which have become a lovely and grounding addition to my week, and he is always reachable to past students too. Automatic self-transcendence during meditation itself is incredible, as are all of the benefits I've already started seeing outside of meditation. I've gained an increased ability to handle difficult situations, started attracting better relationships/experiences into my life, and learned how to reframe personal expectations in a healthier way. People are even using words like "calm" and "positive" now to describe me now, which is far from how I felt before working with Eddie. If you're considering taking one of his classes, go for it :)

Regina Loft: A few months ago I had the luxury of learning with Eddie Vero. I came to him a bit frustrated after more than a decade and a half of inconsistent mindfulness meditation experience. My hopes were to learn the ins and outs of the style he teaches: Vedic Meditation. Most of all I yearned to create a daily, sustainable practice for real life, through all the journeys, hills and valleys life offers. Beginning with a touching ceremonial initiation and immediate meditating practice, Eddie then took his time over the next days to thoroughly and clearly teach me what I needed to solidify this new-to-me practice. His manner is centered, calm and light in the right places. He addressed my issues and questions with an open manner and mind, helped me feel comfortable. Thomas Sebastian Mueller: (in 2016) the facility was cozy and clean with several rooms to use for different levels of students. for students who stay for extended periods they also prepare fresh, warm food. (i mean healthy korean food, not snack foods.) the Korean teachers eunji and eunjin were kind and patient. they were also good at explaining the method. the french teacher "Leo" was arrogant, condescending and a know-it-all. had to listen to comments like "I know and understand everything because I have universe-mind and I don't care at all what somebody thinks about me if they don't like me - but you just have human mind so you cannot understand things (the method I guess...) I lost my wallet, money, ID cards, everything on the bus and "Leo" never cared one bit about my plight. I flew in from abroad and nowhere else to stay!!! only thing she ever said to me: "you have to pay us!" what a horrible human being. no idea who made her a teacher in this organisation. the method of subtraction is awesome and , along with past-life-regressions, the best thing I have ever done for my personal development. permanent growth guaranteed!

Vishnu Varatharajan: I am visiting this place almost daily for meditation. The serene ambience and friendly people make this a very unique spiritual experience amidst a busy city life. There is also a Backhaus where you can drink and eat food with optional donation. Best place to meet new people and have a frenzy-less after-work activity. I would highly recommend this place to the people living in Berlin. You don't have to be a religious Buddhist to practice it (I'm not). The meditation is for about half an hour, and an instructor will read a passage in a very soothing voice with occasional vibrative sounds (English on Thursdays). We then read a long Tibetian poem together, which evokes a sense of trance and a calm ambiance. There is a large handheld statue of a Begtse inside the meditation hall. The statue contains insane amount of details, with contrasting colours, pompous exhibition, dynamic movements, complex shapes and primal expressions. There is a lot of minute attentions to detail and individual points of interest, but each and everything only adds up to a complete, menacing, thematic image of the Mongol-Tibetan God of war. It seems to me that if a human being was to imagine the ultimate primal expression of manifestative violence, this image is the maximum s/he could come up with. Each and every space of it screams of violence, with flames all around Begtse. Even Begtse's eyebrows and facial hair are covered in flames. Its third eye reminds me of Shiva, again, the symbol of manifestation (I am not posting it's picture, as I have not taken a picture of it. I feel it diminishes it's value. If I want to see it, I better go to the place). I was so engulfed that I spent a solid 20 minutes to relish each and every detail of it. Some people joined with me after some time, and we shared our impressions on the statue. I met a Greek DJ there. Currently living in Berlin, he mixes music as a side profession under the name of LeTrip. We visited the bar of the Zentrum where we were offered chips and fruits. He showed his SoundCloud profile and I showed him mine. We then had a casual and superficial cultural exchange on Karma and Dharma. I confessed to him that the only modern artistic impression that I have on Greece is through a film called Attenberg. To my misfortune, he hadn't heard of it. I then had a brief talk with an Italian, of our life so far, about my project, her work, and some cultural exchange on Italy. This place is my haven for a good and healthy social life.

Maria J: I went to a meditation class and it wasn’t anything that I was expecting. I have been to other mediation classes in Berlin where the teacher is guiding you through the whole mediation. The teacher just put a recording of a chant for 30 minutes. For it was a waste of time. I couldnt relax at any moment. I could have done the same in my house with an app. It’s a pity since the place is really nice with good atmosphere and beautiful decoration.

Nele G.: I don't recommend this place for spirituality seekers, they don't greet you with love here. I attended the meditation week and came up with a question that was very important for my spiritual path and was not taken seriously at all. I was looked down upon and made fun of. I was looking for a temple in Germany or Europe where I could live and work in return for spiritual teachings and asked for advice on where to find such a thing, since unfortunately only money is taken out of the pocket of seekers these days. The arrogant gentleman who gave the lecture for the first two days answered me haughtily that his colleague was just hiring in her vegetarian restaurant and that I should try it there, at least he couldn't help me with something like a temple or ashram. I have a job, I make good money. I want to live in a temple and work in gratitude for the spiritual teachings, I don't understand why someone calling themselves "spiritual teacher" would want to make fun of that. I am incredibly disappointed as a human being and will not set foot in this center again. Unfortunately, the world is littered with pseudo-spirituals. If you're really looking, you won't find it here. (By the way, I have now found my temple on my own. No one makes fun of me here, I am treated with love and respect and my spiritual quest is greatly appreciated.)

Sven Polleis: A wonderful place of peace, appreciation and togetherness. You can tell from the center teacher Gen Ananda and also Kelsang Gyudzhin and the other teachers that they really practice and live what they teach. Here Buddhist teachings are passed on in a clear and structured way, so that you can really do something with them, integrate them into your own life and thereby make your own life happier step by step. The accessibility is great! You practically only have to drop out of the U6 and you are already there. Nice that there is such a place in the middle of the city!

Plemmy Peculiar: Care should be taken in choosing the sangha and teachers, especially in the western world. The New Kadampa Tradition has been criticized for having sect-like structures. This can easily be googled. In Buddhism, too, there are unwholesome teachers, and abuse of power can quickly occur, especially when worshiping the Lama. Of course, the lama is an important part and he deserves respect, but when choosing a sangha, always remember the words of Buddha, who always urged his students to examine his teachings and not blindly accept them. If a teacher demands strict observance of his words and does not tolerate inquiries, this is against the Buddha's teaching.

Marcus Prade: This Buddhist meditation center is an oasis of peace in the heart of the capital. The hustle and bustle of everyday life takes place in front of the door of this center and you have to enter to experience the tranquility and inspiration of this place for yourself. That's not difficult at all, because in the small shop in the entrance area there is tea and coffee as well as a lot of exciting literature. However, you should definitely take a look at the meditation room. In addition to many interesting courses, which come from Buddhist wisdom but can be integrated directly into your own everyday life, you can also simply relax and find peace here. The local people are all very friendly, some are even ordained monks and nuns. You can feel that the people in the center live what is taught in the lectures and meditations. I highly recommend the place to anyone who is interested in meditation or even Buddhism. There is something for everyone in the range of courses.

Paddy F.: Attention: quad cards are only valid for 2 months! I was not told when buying in April, just small listed on the map. Who is already studying such a card? I did two meditations and spent a few weeks abroad. Now on Thursday I was told that the card had expired, the remaining two of the four pre-paid courses expire. So I could again pay 7 euros for the beginning of meditation in order to participate. The following discussion was unsuccessful over the total (pre-) paid 19 euros. Why is there no time span of 6-12 months as with most other courses in the world? When it comes to money, there does not seem to be any goodwill in this center. Thus, I was there for the last time.

Johannes Armstrong: Such a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home straight away. A bookstore, small cafe & accessories for your own meditation included. The Buddha statues enchant you immediately. We recommend.

nina hecker: First of all, you wouldn't expect such a place when you turn into the backyard from the busy Mehringdamm. It is hard to believe that despite the noise, people and other features of a big city, this place of rest can be located there. When you find it, you immediately realize that this is no ordinary place. I've tried a lot, tried several different forms of meditation and chanting. But what I encountered in this place really touched me. In front of a beautiful altar, with elaborately decorated Buddha statues and special objects, raised on a pedestal, a young monk sat and told about the method with which one can completely calm one's mind. How - with a little practice - you can achieve permanent happiness, not just spontaneous, temporary happiness. Yes I would also like to. I can't put it into the few lines I have here, nor am I as practiced as this young man. But I'll keep at it, because who doesn't want to be happy all the time in this crazy, busy world we live in? Thank you for this experience.

desp mano: The yoga classes are ok, nothing special. I arrived at the studio 12:00 (exactly on time) and she told me to hurry up because I late.. Then 5 minutes later a person knocked the door and the teacher just ignored it. The door was locked.. I found it very rude, no to open the door to a person how late for a few minutes. I felt very uncomfortable. I was very welcome to wait for a little till she open the door, but she didn't. No kind. Definitely yoga philosophy doesn't represent behaviors like this.

The door was locked when I got there and although I knocked and could hear well through the door that they were only just starting, no one opened up. This was a bit harsh I feel!

Ayten Pehlivan: I have completed the 200-hour YTT with Tatjana a couple of months ago and It has been an absolutely transformative journey. The course is very well developed and it harmonises movement science and Buddhist philosophy beautifully. Tatjana gave us a lot of information based on since and on Buddhist non-dogmatic perceptive of yoga. I’m grateful for that opportunity to learn more about Buddhist philosophy, anatomy and history of yoga. The course, together with virtual studio and master-classes, is very well organised. We had a big part of it online and 4 great weekends in person in Berlin. It is very helpful that it is always possible to go back to all material. I loved the International atmosphere of the training, non-dogmatic and careful approach of Tatjana as a teacher. Tatjana is a great teacher with lots of experience. The combination of online and offline sessions was beneficial for me and allowed me to get deeper understanding of the topics. The online material is carefully curated by Tatjana, it is clear and concise. I definitely can recommend this teacher training for anyone who is thinking to take their yoga practice to the next level, get better understanding of movement and get equipped to start teaching yoga themselves based on principles of Dynamic Mindfulness.

A Bdl: I completed the 200-h YTT with Tatjana at Dynamic Mindfulness in 2020-21 and was so glad that I did this, especially during a year of pandemic! The course was done virtually with all materials online which was helpful to have all the content easy to access and that the course could be done on your own time. Tatjana is an excellent teacher, really knowledgeable on both Buddhist philosophy/history and anatomy and she creates a really supportive environment for learning (not easy in a virtual world), always answering questions, etc. Tatjana's teaching style is very creative and the main thing I felt I would get from her classes was a feeling of very deep engagement with the internal landscape of the body, sometimes through unusual ways! Her classes always have a great combination of movement and meditation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the teacher training or her weekly classes!

Yi Jen Chang: It was an invaluable experience to take part in this training with other 10 inspiring fellow practitioners during the pandemic time. I'm impressed by Tatjana's knowledge and appreciate her science-based, non-dogmatic approach. I'm very grateful for the chance to get to know the Buddhist perspective of yoga as well, and have deepened my practice with more understanding on the philosophy of this ancient tradition. The materials and teachings covered in the 200h teacher training have been beneficial to every aspect of my life, way beyond my yoga mat.

Lu: Tatjana's yoga teacher training has taken my view and experience of yoga to a whole new level. Not only did the training and practice actively help me through the first hard and long Corona winter, but my entire daily life and perspective on things changed. Before the training I already knew that yoga benefits me and helps to reduce stress. Understanding the philosophy behind it, but also the profound knowledge of biomechanics and anatomy have fundamentally changed my own yoga practice, and at the same time equipped me with a foundation of knowledge to be able to plan well-founded yoga classes. Additionally - and this is an incredibly important point (for me) - Tatjana is very (self-)reflective and critically connects the old traditions with current scientific standards. She is especially mindful of the responsibility that comes with such a transfer and is also sensitive to cultural appropriation as well as creating a discrimination-free space. This is something that not many people within the yoga bubble achieve! On that alone, Tatjana deserves many kudos. So, to sum it up: for all people who want to practice mindfulness themselves, integrate mindfulness into everyday life, move their body consciously and sustainably: do yoga with Tatjana! For those who also want to deepen their own practice with more theory and knowledge: the 200h yoga training is the perfect opportunity to do so. The best: you learn to pass on your knowledge to others and thus help other people to relax within our high-performance society.

Anika Mi: The Dynamic Mindfulness universe has deeply affected me. Tatjana's navigation through yoga, body, movement and awareness changed my relationship to yoga and my approach to it. Using science, anatomy, Buddhism, very poetic still very conscious use of language and cluing and a broad varieties of very precise jet very unique sequencing schemes, Tatjana managed to bring improvisation, fun and discipline together in a special, one of a kind blend. She's been always available for answering my questions, not afraid to say "I don't know" or "let me think about it", before answering. Great mentor and a great person, most of all. I deeply recommend.

Lisa Biermann: The 200h yoga teacher training with Tatjana has been a very valuable and insightful experience for me. I liked her approach a lot. Katie: The Dynamic Mindfulness Yoga Teacher Training took me on a wonderful journey of learning and discovery. Not only did I engage in a thorough, well planned and extremely professional teacher training programme, I also became part of a supportive network of like minded yoga enthusiasts. The online component of the teacher training was very well put together, offering a wealth of knowledge which kept me motivated through its carefully composed modules. There was also the possibility to connect and ask questions during the two live online classes per week, as well as the monthly online meetings. I loved the last two modules of the course when we met up in person (fantastic for people who live in, or can travel to Berlin). The course was flexible enough to accommodate my family and work and while there were times at the end, when I had to push myself, it was worth every moment of it. Tatjana knows her stuff and is an inspiring teacher.

I also did an introduction to meditation course and have attended a retreat with Yoga and English too, and loved both experiences! Sophie Bresnahan: Yoga in English was one of the best yoga studio I’ve ever been to! I felt super comfortable there and really loved how personable it was. I was taught by Anya and she is the best teacher I’ve ever had, and I’ve been doing yoga for over 10 years all around the world. Unfortunately I don’t live in Berlin anymore which is such a shame. But would be going every week if I could. Thankfully I have been on the zoom lessons to get my fix. Thank you so so much!!

Anna Oberleitner: I've been a student at Yoga in English for a few years now and they are still my favorite place. High quality classes, a wonderful atmosphere and a lovely community. I've also been to workshops and retreats and everything has been a great experience. Classes are suitable both for beginners and experienced yogis.

Sophie Field: I really enjoy the classes, but just wish that the space and mats were cleaner. It unfortunately just doesn’t feel very hygienic. The mats are stained and have a smell, and the floors are always quite dusty. I wouldn’t expect it to be immaculate, but it does kind of take you out of the experience of the lovely classes.

Magda Sokolovic: I discovered Green Yoga online classes during the first lockdown when I was back to my parents in Lithuania, and these classes were the only quality contact with other people during that difficult time. Pretty much all teachers I tried from this studio are simply wonderful and knowledgeable, teaching very different styles of yoga - this way it is never boring. This is the reason why I've been a loyal green yoga user for a 3rd year already. Whenever I am back to Berlin, I am going to one of their studios.

W L: Was here two times for yin and am super dissatisfied with my experiences (really want to give 1 star instead) The classes were super full but the best spots were reserved for the online class (tripod and lighting), ppl in studio have to squeeze behind pillars. Teachers were so used to speaking quietly to their mics for online class ppl only. And overall experiences of their yoga sessions weren’t relaxing nor effective. The room is dirty and the equipments are super old (and dirty) Won’t recommend this place (at least for yin yoga) to anyone at all

Daniela Fernandez: If you are looking for a relaxing but energizing yoga session or a hardcore boxing class, Mindful Life Berlin got you covered. While I would love to see more space to sit an relax before or after a class (maybe a small cafe) this place is perfect for some me time. Love the aesthetic, the classes, and the staff!

Valeria Cuciniello: Love the atmosphere in this yoga studio. It has such a calming effect on you as soon as you step in. Teachers are top and asanas are thoroughly explained, sometimes also the philosophy behind yoga. It is also really spacious, and I love the plants on the ceiling and the way it is decorated, it really helps you get in the right mood :)

Marinela: Very nice and relaxing yoga studio. I love the positive vibes and the weekend classes there. Diana is really great and cares about the people that go there.

Vito P: We were in Berlin for a three days week end and this lovely cafè gave us a good start every morning. We enjoyed the ambience, very easy and quiet inside suitable for working or studying and also the setting outside on the sunny corner of a neighborhood street. Martha Lee: Came here for the first time with a friend since the other place we wanted to go to was closed. Didn't expect them to have a great selection of gluten free and vegan food. The oatmeal porridge with cashew yogurt was superb. Server was also friendly.
