Matrix Club Berlin: what do users think?

Ereny Rezk: This is the first nightclub I went to arriving Berlin, and I'm glad I did. It was a Wednesday night, and the DJ played pretty much mainstream music, and the energy was great. Dress code not strict albeit I'm not if it's different on weekends. Can't comment on the drinks as I drank water but it tasted fine 🙂.

sdfsdf sdfsdfsdf: The real Berlin techno experience!!! If you're a tourist, especially Muslim or Indian, you SIMPLY MUST visit this club. It's the only club you will ever need, as there's nothing better than this in Berlin. Friendly bouncers, great sound system, great music, amazing DJs. Wish I could go every day.

Artur Harutyunyan: A good one, but the atmosphere is kind of complicated and it is not equal to top class clubs. Bar is good

Jet van Iwaarden: This club was horrible. Way too many people. People touching you, fights were happening, it took me 30mins to get my jacket to get out of there (because a nice guy saw me and got my jacket for me). And on top of this, they were letting in more people, when there was obviously no room. Please do not spend your money here!
Response: Thanks for your feedback! We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at our club. We do our best to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all our guests and we will take care of the issues you mentioned. We hope that you will give us another chance in the future.

Hernan Molinag: It is the worst club in Berlin. The guards are violent and unpleasant people. The music is terrible. Attention too. While we were in line they assaulted a group of people for no reason. Even the police arrived. The guards beat a person with an iron for no reason. Not going there, it's a bad, dangerous experience. It's going to throw money away.
Response: HAPPY NEW YEAR

Stuart Wilson: Terrible club. Went on a Tuesday night. Only the one floor open. Charged to get in and wasn’t allowed to sit at any tables as apparently all reserved. Also some scamming Romanian on the toilet doors charging you to go to the toilet. Avoid. Much better places to go to that’s more fun. Also kicked out and not allowed in to get jacket.

Gor Hakobyan: Its a great and really fun nightclub. The dj was really good and the music was amazing. It costs 10 eur to get in. If you get out of the club though you will need to pay again. There is a small outdoor area that is still considered as club and you can get out to breathe

Aliya Shypilova: This place is full of harassment. Don’t go there if you are a woman. Security don’t really care and lets in everyone. Inside there was no security also. Through out the night there I had a guy following me the whole night even after clear “No’s” (and when we told the security about it on the way out they said they can not do anything about it) tons of unwanted stares and even touches. Disgusted. Drinks cheap, music basic and primitive. The location, neighbourhood also not looking very nice and safe.

FEED FURAIJI: It was great time with friends good DG plus enough places for dancing and sitting …

Emily Locke: Had the best experience at Matrix. Loved that there were multiple floors with different types of music. Would definitely recommend!

Surprise Club & Disco Berlin: what do users think?

Zsadist81: Great music! Most of the time genres like dance hall and afro beat and similar. Relaxed atmosphere. Many times free entrance for ladies. No demands on dresscode (unless specially written for the events). Highly recommend it, for everyone!

BMYE: Very rude door men. Speaking rudely to clients. Sack the door guy with dreadlocks. Learn how to respect and value the clients you have. Disappointed with the door men. The manager should be aware of how those guys don’t do their work well

Bubacarr Bah: THE SECURITY PERSONEL ARE REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT POLITE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Response: The problem will be settled. We're sorry.

Cameron: Really chilled out good vibe, staff were friendly, cheap drinks, will definitely come back here next time we come here on holiday!
Response: Thanks for coming around. Next time give us a call for a drink together

A. Richardson: Only a handful of people where in there and the DJ audio issues hurt my ears. Too much security for no people.

Ella Spice: Best place to go any weekend-- songs are all the bangers, good lights and sound, and welcoming crowd. Free for ladies on FridaysDress nicely but they don't usually turn anyone away.
Response: Thanks for comments

Kizito Afube: Giving surprise night club a two star rating based on efforts put in place to develop such an elaborate business. All things being equal it also has a good mix of music and people inside. However, it has got some of the worst service you would ever see in this Germany. They treat customers especially if you are not a regular with complete disregard. Maybe it is because of the lack of competition. They Have no sense of protocol especially their security and in some sense unapologetic about their attitudes towards this issues. It’s a shame such a business still even attracts people. Would I recommend it to a friend ? To a like minded observer « Hell no » good music might not make up for the bad service.
Response: Sorry about that. We are looking into all those problems to make the Club convenient for all to have fun. Thanks for the remarks.

Dazzling Diamond: Wow I love this Surprise Club & Disco Berlin, its so much fun . The DJ is wonderful, I just can't wait to be there again with my friends.

V. Hill: Love it , nice dance club.

Julieth Salvatory: Good music and service was nice

Sage Club: what do users think?

Zoe P.: Great meeting point for team events or catch the sunset with a nice beach like experience ! Pizzas are good and drinks quite strong ! Really nice set up!

RudeSteps: Is the place attractive and at a great location on the river? Absolutely! However, because of their organization you will not enjoy being here at all. Each time we wanted a drink, we had to wait in line for nearly 30 minutes! They have several bar areas, but each one had a similar line that extended forever. Plus, they're only serving .3 beers and not the usual .5 bottle. This means, that you finish your beer quickly and then must return to the painfully long lines more often. More than half of the 2 hours we spent at this club, was in lines waiting at the bar. We got so frustrated with this place, we decided we would have more fun going across the street, buying some beers from a Späti, and drinking them next door behind an old warehouse! And, we did! However, they charge 1 euro Pfand (deposit) on each bottle you buy. We had to wait 15 minutes on the side of the bar just to return our empty beers and get the Pfand money back. There were 2 groups of people in front of us that waited so long, they eventually threw the cups/bottles at the bar and walked away without receiving their Pfand money back! Whoever is managing this club is doing a terrible job. There should be more staff, and separate bar stations for those ordering beers and those ordering cocktails, since cocktails take much longer. They should also have a staff member whose sole purpose is to deal with people returning the cups/bottles for the Pfand. Again, a pretty place, but complete waste of your time.

David Q: 🤬 I can't even recommend this place anymore. It was the best or one of the best metal clubs in Berlin and you're killing it with the prices. Please, go back to the normal Sage! I understand you need to recover the lost money, but with higher prices you will just be empty all the time. Let the people go in and consume. 8 to 10€ should be more than enough. Almost nobody will pay 15(+2)€ anymore after seeing it empty every Thursday

Liven Rous: If I had to chose between eating currywurst for the rest of my life or ordering another drink here; You could start the stove because I will be consuming every currywurst on sight. Wat een godverdomme klote tent (vooral die owner !)

Cristina Monroy: It was far from what we expected. We went for the music, but you could barely hear it. The crowd was not your usual Berlín crowd and it was heavily overpriced. The weirdest part was the amount of tables for people having dinner. It’s a place run for business not experience.

sebastian acosta: Really nice place, I went on Thursday, no entrance fee cause it was slightly before 10; the staff at the door was acceptably nice, once inside the waiters were good and professional, there were drink lists with prices on every bar and the prices were cheap and accurate, at the end of the night I didn't even bothered myself with checking the change the bartender gave me, this was very refreshing after certain experiences in other bars in Berlin; the place itself is really nice, 3 dancing rooms, each one themed, one of them with live rock/heavy concerts, and to other rooms without music, one chill lounge to rest and drink and the swimming pool area with sauna; lots of cool people as well, really nice vibes, I can only recommend it.

Dan Leak: Good music in a variety of rooms. Plenty of room and choice of drinks inside. Door staff very polite. Unfortunately one or two members of staff inside let the place down. After asking for a drink in English the bar woman exclaimed ‘I’m not in the mood to serve tourists’ - her colleague then tried to charge 30 euros for two drinks without any spirits. This was completely unprovoked! To the slim, dark haired, tattooed woman who works in the bar near the pool, I hope your manager reads this!

Børge Bǫlverkr Fosse: What a awesome place to stay, 4 different dance floors under the same roof. Was supposed to be there for a little while but ended up staying there the whole night drinking and singing with the rest of my fellow headbangers🤘 Definitely going back. Highly recommended!

Becca Henry: Best Thursday night spot in Berlin if you like rock and metal music

Daniele Pizzagalli: A friend of mine brought me to this club. I really liked the furnishings, and (that's more of a personal taste) the underground dancefloor. The place was really full of people but not crowded, and that was a cool feature. I would definitely come back again!

Alexander Beckx: Friendliest club in Berlin! Security, bouncers, staff at the bar are very friendly. Music very divers! From R&B to German techno, and from 90’s to awesome mixtapes. Can’t wait to comeback again!

Wesley Guns: We visited this place during our bachelor trip. We tried to book a VIP-table because it's not easy to get guaranteed access in Berlin for 10 guys. They even got a special website with packages for bachelor parties. But I can honestly say that communication was very hard. I had to send 3 mails over the course of over 1 month just to get a first (very short) reply. When I asked extra questions, no reply anymore. It wasn't a surprise that we had some difficulties on the spot. First they couldn't find my name and when they finally did, they said they did not receive information about the size of the group and therefor had no table for us. I wanted to show them the emails with all the information but they refused to look at it. After going back and forward, they finally found an available table but then we needed to pay entrance. According to their website this was free with the package but first we needed to pay €120, then €70 and in the end it was free because we didn't want to pay. When we got in, everything was perfect! It's a nice club with a good atmosphere, nice music and very friendly staff. I would come back to the club for this but please fix your communication before or stop offering these packages.

Vaisakh G Nair: Please don't go this club. Utter cheaters. We book online tickets 1 week back But Very awful experience. They wont allow asian people. High racism happening in Germany. Our hope for newyear party turned into a black day. Only white people allowed to this club. Bouncers speak rudely to us.

Tawes Aziz: Various drinks options and a pretty organized and neat sitting areas. The dance floor is relatively big, and the music system is pretty neat, securing an enjoyable experience for dancing. Also contains a separate smoking area.

Claude C: Racist security guards!!!! Please avoid this place. The other reviews are totally right! Turkish security guards let you in base on the colour of your skin, letting whites in but black and Asian told they cannot come in!!! Absolutely shocking and shameful that such things still happen in this day and age.

Varun Nahata: I usually don’t do reviews but i had to do it for this place to save anyone from having a bad experience. I feel one star is too much to give for this wannabe exclusive place. Never in my life have i seen or met such racist doormen! In a place like Berlin, a city that has the reputation of being accepting and open, they did not let me in based on my Indian nationality. They were talking about it in German which fortunately I understand but I guess they thought I didn’t! You are much better off going to places like Watergate, Sisyphos etc. instead of coming to this racist establishment!

Prof. Ermanno Paleari: Nightclub located in the historical center of Berlin. Really good attendence and excellent acustic without rumbles. Polite and quick staff in two bars.Beatiful sitting room and refined environment. I 'll return here Beatiful location.

N.: It's a place so nice, there are always bonuses if you come by time and always good drinks. Love it.

Elias Limayem: The bouncers we're so unpolite. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

Charles Bret: Poor club, very far, bouncers very rude and you can find way better way easier

Soda Club Berlin: what do users think?

Sophie Wachholz: there is a lot to say about this club, negative as well as positive. i‘ll just go through my night chronically. It started with a long queue in front of the club which went by actually quite quickly. My male friend and I pretended to be dating in order to get into the club, worked like magic. Until the next bouncer asked whether we have a 24h old negative covid test… which we didn’t. 45 min later we were there again, the bouncers checked all the pockets and bags from my friend. They didn’t even bother looking into my jacket, cus they were so distracted by my sternum tattoo. Plus, they were incredibly kind to me. As I headed to the lockers, this girl started screaming „yo, there is an entrance fee?!!“ A really aggressive and rude girl who then went on to complain how much she hated her job and how she wishes to sleep now. It cost 10€, the lockers cost 2€. Then we went into the actual building. Soda club isn’t build like a conventional club, it is a gigantic complex with different dance floors within. At first I thought they would all have similar type of songs and music throughout but that was were i was dead wrong. Each room had a totally different type of music. German schlager in one room, followed by techno then a hip hop room and a chart hits room - long story short, you could dance to every genre of music. And the songs wouldn’t mush up when you were standing close to the other room, which was nice. I like the idea of offering music for each person but also incredibly annoying. The dj would play two good songs followed by a stupid song. Then, i would change room for a different vibe. All in all very confusing… Plus, the club was jam packed. Full to the max! I had to weasel my way through the crowd which was an adventure filled with sweat, sticky alcohol and being pushed from one side to the other. Speaking of alcohol, a vodka orange cocktail cost me 8€?! A shot 2,50€…. kinda hurt my budget but by flattering some guys i had my night sponsored just fine.

Enmanuel Ortega: Pretty cool club, I went on Sunday and it was really cool. They have different types of dancing places. There is Bachata Dominicana, Salsa y Bachata sensual. Apart from being the authentic one, the Bachata Dominicana was really cool to dance.

Lester Lo: This may be my favourite clubbing experience ever... From Australia you don't get anything like it, like 7 rooms with all kinds of music. You get sick of a genre and you can just move on to the next, keeps it fresh. Just like with all Berlin clubs, the challenge is getting in... I went with one other male mate and we were all good, you have to go within the first hour of opening for the best chance.

stephano mendoza: Don’t come here, we were trying to celebrate a birthday we were a group of friends who got together to celebrate a birthday. We came from different parts of Europe and two of us were refused entry. Not professional and very picky. We were not drunk, high anything, very racist, and aggressive. Worst club I have ever been.

Roxane Mae: Nice atmosphere, cool people and the floors are great. Also the sound isolation is so incredibly good that you will never hear any music overlap. Highly recommend it.

Aurora Gargarella: A nice club, it remains one of the most fun but beware of the girl that works at wardrobe downstairs. She was very rude and had so little patience that she was banging things. Right after I left my backpack I forgot something and I asked her to give it back to me for a second and she was pouting like a little child, I don't understand this behaviour as it's her job and you have to be professional. Apart from the fact that she made me pay again, even though I had only left my backpack 5 minutes before and that it was full of dust, she even broke my key ring that was hooked out of spite. I didn't complain or anything because it may not have been her day but I would have appreciated a minimum of respect, as I am paying you for a service, I am not asking for a personal favour.

Eva Lund: **people who did not get through the doors cannot leave 1 star reviews!!** Great atmosphere, so many different areas to chill out, staff is all very friendly, my boyfriend and I are American and don’t speak German but try our best and they seemed to appreciate that. Bartenders were great, the grill/foodtruck was the f***ing bomb! Met a bunch of fun people and had a really amazing time. If you’re looking for a great Berlin club that isn’t solely techno I would recommend this place above all others— two rooms with pop/classic bops/remixes and one techno room.

Leila Martin: Girl at the garderobe was very rude to us and would not get our coats. The bouncers took a sentimental personal belonging of mine and lost it when I went to retrieve it. Cocktails were absolutely disgusting and expensive. Would not recommend unless you’re trying to waste your time

M. Bizjan: Wanted to visit this place for a drink with cousin. Well dressed as others we were exicited to have a drink here and party. Unfortunately we were not accepted by the arrogant and racist security guards. All white people in front of us and behind us were allowed to enter. Also other light/black skinned were not to allowed. So unfortunate they treat poeple like this anno 2022. I will never go here again and i recommend others also not to go. -5 stars for this place, security guards and door policy.

World Stone # All daily updates Code: The bouncers at the entrance are raciest! Most expecialy when you're not German , or you're dack skin in colour. I went alone first day they rejected me and said because I'm single and second day I went with my girlfriend they rejected me without any reason, third day which was last with my German and other Nationality white friends and they refused only me and accept the others so we all left the place for them ... To bad 😔 not recommended.

YAAM: what do users think?

Eire E: Cool vibes! Reggae music with chilling atmosphere with beer, African food, some clothing stalls. Nightclub part feels a bit of Thailand or south East mood.

Aleksandra Marszałek: If you want to feel piece of imigrants in Berlin... It's there. Looks like you move to Jamaica for example. The entrance is 2,5 euro per person. Is it worth? For sure. For the atmosphere of the place. Not for drinks-they cost a lot, and why you give 0,3 of drink?!

Cezar Comorasu: Yaam is a place where you can feel like home. Not a really cozy yard, but there are lots of lovely people and amazingly deliciously barbecues. Nice!

Kenneth Metts: This is a most see location in Berlin. Fantastic art works all self made. Food is awesome. I ate the Jamaica chicken and rice two 👍🏾👍🏾. Look for the huge 🏀... The Hendrik for the beers and conversation. What up Rene I didn't forget the architecture creater.

Ya Ting Tsai: Place with nice view & hipsters. You can enjoy good vibe and beer here. However it might be a problem if you don’t like to be around cigarettes and sth more…As for food, I had some grill chicken there and it was quite nice but don’t expect the table to be clean 😂

Angel Eduardo Ruiz Villar: Best vibe ever. Something between hipster and hippie. Felt quite relaxed in this place. Incredible amount of options.

vlado544: The staff was very rude, a friend of mine had a minor objection about having his bag searched for drinks at the entrance (he is an adult in mid thirties), and even after we paid 10 euros at the entrance, he told us "if you don't like it, take your money and go". Which we promptly did. Not recommended.

Annely: Good vibes, relaxed atmosphere. You can choose yourself the entrance fee (between 1-10€). Drinks are fairly priced, staff at the bar a bit unfriendly. Didn’t try the food.Relaxed place to hang out and smoke, seating area near the water was occupied by some animals

Brandon Braun: Some of the most flavorful food in Berlin. The jerk chicken spot was insanely good. The vibe here is great as well. Real down to earth people not some bougie fake ambience. What a gem!

Philippa Marsh: This place has a really great vibe, great atmosphere. My friends and I visited on a hot July day and ended up staying all afternoon. The multiple stalls have fantastic food and they give you so much of it. The drinks were ace too - I probably had too many caipirinhas! The beach and the art everywhere and the friendly people - such a great community gathering spot. I've recommended Yaam to everyone I know.

Gretchen: what do users think?

Heisenberg: Gretchen is a wonderful place for concerts, clubbing or other types of entertainment. The location is wonderful with old arches and and nice vibe. I have been here many times for different events. Yesterday I also came to enjoy myself. Unfortunately it didn’t add up with previous experiences. First of all I had to pay 15€ entry, which I think is already quite a lot, but fine. Later at night I needed to drink water. I went to the bar and asked for a glass and got confronted by the bartender telling me, that it’s not okay that this will be my first drink of the night. I had to argue to get a free Glas of water. It’s very rude to assume that, first, I didn’t drink anything else for example at the other bar, how could he know?! And second, just giving out free water…. Everybody has the right to drink water and I really think it should be free and unproblematic to grab FREE TAB WATER!! Hopefully that will change soon..

Eric Von Holm: A live gig at Gretchen, my first time there. Nice little venue. Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Civilised punters. Non-smoking (for the most part). But the sound... Total amateur hour at best. Despite the fact that I was wearing a pair of ER20s and standing right in front of the booth, I was struggling to hear the vocals, and the lower end was so muddy I couldn't tell the difference between the kick drum and the bass guitar. Exceptionally shoddy sound engineering compared to similar size venues around Berlin. No more live gigs at Gretchen for me, am afraid. Can't say I wasn't warned, though.

Hannah Noonan: My friend and I (both from uk) had the best night here, the bouncers were super friendly and helpful, no questions asked about getting in and you can wear pretty much what you want. The bar staff were also really nice and helpful, people in there were generally nice people too. Strongly recommend for a good drum and bass night, strong sound system as well. Unlike all the pretentiousness you find at techno clubs in berlin

Yasha Killjoy: I came to see Dorian Electra here and it was lit as hell. One of the best concerts I've been to, not only because of the artist but because of the venue as well! Drinks were easily available at the bar and the toilets were clean. Very nice!

Stephen G: Amazing day here - with music & art - as Berlin re-opens event sites . Friendly & welcoming artists made for a memorable afternoon

Drown in Blue: A pretty location for concerts but sadly you can't see anything if you are short and standing in the middle or the back.

Irene Castaño: very bad set up for concerts. the sound was very undefined and quiet. The room is not good for big crowds, if you are in the middle of the room you already can't almost see the stage. disappointing !

Irene: Concert was great, prices of drinks reasonable I think it's amazing that they require a test on top of the booster jab, but, in my entire journey of booking the tickets on Eventim, reading the tickets and instructions, it didn't mention this. Try and get a test after 8 in the evening in the Bergmannkiez. We had to take a taxi to another side of the city in order to still get a test... Not great, maybe inform your guests next time. An email or information with the ticket would have been good.

Yousef El Miadi: I bought a ticket for 19,90€. The event got cancelled. They refunded me 18€. I don't care much who is responsible but this is absolutely outrageous.

Ade _Remi: Afro parties, flexible gate fee. A good vibe

Golden Gate: what do users think?

Thor son: Worth an experience, been a bunch of times and was never let down. If you’ve never been to a club this will shock you, but it’s a Berlin club so go have fun! (FYI: Do not take pictures of the inside)

Frank Exslager: Very cool cozy atmosphere. Small club with a decent soundsystem, could be a little louder. Friendly bartenders and bouncers, no trouble getting in. Definitely not for everyone, though.

Niklas Gadd: Customer service was terrible. You go to some tent and there are guys hanging around. They are the most arrogant People, asking you that where are you from 🤣🤣🤣 -100 never gonna go there. Ps. We didnt go in althougt we were allowed.
Response: probably it‘s not your place anyway

Rolixinho: The guys at the entrance chose pretty randomly but if you are able to get in, it's really not worth all the fuss, nothing special. You have way better clubs in Berlin. Do it only if you can't get in anywhere else.
Response: please go elsewhere

Admilson Monteiro: THE MOST RACIST CLUB IN BERLIN, if you are not white don't wast your time the bouncers will not let you him and will make jokes about you.... if you are white and are still going here is because you support racist places and racist people
Response: Dear Admilson, sorry that things did not work out for you. We would really like to hear details of the story. Please write to feedback@goldengate-berlin.de

Sam: Not for everyone, but if you like dark rooms and underground techno this is a great place! Amazing techno music

Sanaa: Don’t go. don’t go on a Thursday. maybe don’t go in any day. tiny tiny but still no people? music quiet and still also no dancing. Very dead would not recommend
Response: next time be there a little later

Dylan Korver: Post pandemic update! No more open airs. Back to just inside GG. Safe bet for a no nonsense Boogie without much fuss from security on the door. Probably one of the least pretentious club venues in the city, can lead to a strange crowd with not much selection but you can't have it every way....

Luke H: Good music but sadly extremely discriminatory. Went in with my partner. My male (asian) friend who followed shortly after was told he would not be allowed entry as there were too many males in the club. After being turned away, just minutes later, he witnessed 3 white males being admitted with no issue. We complained, with no avail. We ask anyone with conscience to avoid this venue.
Response: we’re sorry for the inconvenience; there are many reasons why somebody cannot pass the door people. I cannot imagine them to be racist of nay kind for they themselves are ethnically diverse, many with a background of migration. If you want to continue this conversation please write to feedback@goldengate-berlin.de

W: One of the best old Berlin clubs. No yuppies, no Hipsters just random friendly folks here. The door can be tricky but they select good. The music is always very good and mostly minimal. Recommendation

Dunckerclub: what do users think?

Elisa Seerig: Wonderful gothic nightclub at reasonable price. Will definitely come back when in Berlin again!

GekteJelles: Very nice place. Bouncer was nice, good music and nice vibe. There alot of goths here and local people so if you like rock go here!

Maria Belen Almiron: I tried to go to this place for the first time, and the old guy (the bouncer) who works at the door was very rude with me when I tried to ask him a little bit about the place and the party. He shouldn’t be working there anymore… bring someone cool because he has no manners and i would not comeback because of this guy. Also he tried to scam me… what an awful guy!!

Ruby Walker: The goth vampire club of your dreams! Great music, good vibes all around. Highlight of my time in Berlin.

Alex Fitch: Monday night, the place for old school Goth, industrial, electro etc with a decent crowd.

Ritayan Rath: Awesome, great music but the DJ is not mixing

jeremy bayer: It's a great venue but the DJs we're not good on the night hence the one star.

Giacomo Capobianco: I've been coming here for years, always pretty ok, just avoid nights with dj whampee (what a name) aka dj incapable, he likes to drink from his mug, pick his nose and select nonsense tracks. Prices are still decent and staff is nice.

S. R.: The goth nights here are always worth a trip. Every time I visit Berlin I come here.

Anna Reger: An absolute delight, my favourite place of all for dancing :) imo the last real authentic club where you can dance to some batcave tunes. Only trouble is the extremely rude bouncer. Unnecessarily rude to best guests in town, also for ones who have been guests for years. Scamming horribly, as many people already mentioned. I really hope something can be done about it - such a pity for this wonderful place like Duncker.

J K: 3.5 ⭐ if I could. Good sound, small queue, easy bouncer, but club is fairly tight (it's a single room with toilets and wardrobe on the side) and was super packed. No room for dancing and getting from door to the wardrobe, back to the bar and to the toilet was really difficult. Also be prepared for a lot of cigarette smoke inside (as usual in Berlin). I wish there's 10-20% less people and it'd be a lot better.

Farhad Farzaliyev: My fav place in Berlin. Small and good sounding space. Perfect for bass music lovers. Very friendly atmosphere.

anais: Absolutely amazing night, great music, went in a group of 2 and a bit of trouble getting in but worthy it. Saw a beautiful greek god inside and fell in love. Dj really interacted with the crowd and played perfect music, he was beautiful, amazing and worship worthy.

Sam Sibaja: Great club, awesome music. Good babes, good times, good music, good babes, good time

annabelle voogd: Most horrible club in Berlin, super unorganized, people were skipping the que, there was no regulation, really recommend not to go there,

Simon Scherders: Awesome experience, the bouncer was chill and the overall atmosphere was amazing

Tommaso Dapri: One of the best club in Berlin

Danail Delsizov: Perfect face control! Very underground atmosphere, cool music, nice people :) Really recommended if you do not want to wait on the lines for the more famous clubs around Kreutzberg ;) Cheers, stay safe, would love to visit again.

Giacomo Zanni: It is my favourite soundsystem in town and there they play almost everything from new electronic musical styles. It is made of only one room so no big places to sit down. No smoking area but you can hang out in the place in front.

Robert Green: Friendly staff, good music and cool vibe. As a non smoker my only complaint is the lack of ventilation, as with most bars (and maybe all clubs) in the city smoking is allowed. Expected as much but felt the smoke became a bit heavy at times. Had a great night regardless, and would go back in the summer months when I wouldn’t need to bring a jacket (or anything else difficult to wash).

Natarsha Kocan: Super fun club. Drinks were cheap, all of it is cash only. Got in 2 nights in a row wearing leather dresses. Music is amazing techno. Crowd was so fun and felt so safe and consent is valued. Lots of sex happening in parts of club but everyone minds their business and parties. There are many dance floors and levels. One of the best clubs I’ve been too and there’s nothing quite like it

Mathias Haugsbø: We went to Berlin to visit our friend, but primarily to visit Kit Kat. Absolutely worth the visit. But spend some time thinking about your outfit. We wore black shoes, short shorts and leather vest. Spent 5 hours there from midnight to morning. Amazing club and I have never seen such good behavior of the people in a club before, at least not in Norway.

Hailey A: Seems like a cool place but we weren’t allowed in because we had black running shoes on- fair enough- we will know for next time. The guy said that sports shoes were never allowed in a fetish club, most people were wearing black leather shoes. Just a heads up to other people on the dress code. (It is a little unfortunate since I find these shoes more comfortable to dance in but I understand they have a look they’re going for.)

Cole Lawton: Best nightclub I've ever been to. Almost everybody was hot, the girl ratio was great, and everyone was very friendly. Sex atmosphere was so open and accepting, surprisingly respectful as well, and, well, you just need to be here to see for yourself. This is the perfect club. Best partying in the world ;)

Vasilis Drettas: The club inside is amazing but the queue is a disaster. None respects the queue and tries to come from around to get it. We waited over 3h and failed. Someone from KitKat has to install some barricade to make sure there is a line and no random people coming from around. It's happens to me already a couple of times

Alex Lungu: The weekend is busy between midnight and 5am, with 2h lines. Follow the dress code to the letter, especially the part forbidding street clothes and sport shoes. And remember to bring your good (but slightly tuned down) vibe! Wish they had more of colourful vibe on Saturdays as well. There’s plenty of other places with dark vibe to go to on a weekend. 😉

Patrycja B.: That was an interesting experience. I visited the club randomly, wasn't even dressed for the place (but apparently my clothes were appropriately inappropriate enough). People inside are very respectful even though it's crowded, bouncers seemed nice, music is good, and you can only pay with cash (so just like everywhere else in Berlin).

FOX B: Just happy people having a happy time in a great atmosphere. The club staff do some an amazing job to make everyone, of all walks of life to feel welcome and free. Just make sure you check not only your handy and clothes, but also leave your ego outside. :3

Felix Gabriel: My friends and I have never gone clubbing before, and this couldn't have been a better first time experience. The staff was patient with us fussing over if we wanted to go in in the first place or not, everyone was friendly. It took us a moment to get used to the atmosphere, but once we just listened to the techno music, the dancing and the socialising happened all on its own. Super friendly, open crowd. Great vibes!

Burak: KitKat is more than just a nightclub…It’s probably the only place in world that you can feel the pleasure of freedom. If you’re the one who belong to here, bouncers feel that and let you in. Otherwise it’s not possible to get in even you try hard with the costumes. All the staff are really friendly there is no something like racism there. It’s also not make sense with the mentality of the club :) I have been there 5 times as non German and European looking guy and easily got in.

R V: Three rooms of camp fun. Friendly clientele. Mixed ages and types so come as you are - you can be yourself as no one seems to don't judge at all. Refreshing. Def worth a visit. No techno (well not usually) but loads of gay hits to keep you entertained. Main dancefloor is where its at where they have shows. Loved the fact that the door person briefed everyone in the queue the need for consent and no discrimination in the bar.

justin richter: I was at the big New Year's Eve party, it was a great experience And we had a lot of fun and it was our first visit to a queer club but it was very nice you can just be who you are and don't have to be afraid if you're a boy Make-up goes to a party or as a boy wears a dress

Venus Wright: The staff is very friendly, the place is really nice and pretty clean and the people inside are all cute and minding their own business. The girl at the door said they want it to be a safe space and it really is!

Eduardo Monsalve Abarca: The place is amazing too bad they don't play good music, please invest in a good DJ. It's not fun to see a drag queen playing his spotify playlist, anyone can do that.

Vinícius de Leon: Great party! Please stop playing black eyed peas their songs need to rest some years before being played again

Hilary Gallagher: Good club, got there at 2 am on a Saturday night and there was no queue. In general, was a nice crowd, music very poppy, we were prepared for that though😉. Loved that you can dance in a spacious main room, where smoking is not allowed.

Apogee800 Apogee800: Arrived at 1:30am on a Friday. Waited close to 2 hours in POURING RAIN. The only time the line moved at all was when people gave up and went home. Eventually we just left too. This completely ruined our last night in Berlin. Their website says that "the networking and development of the LGBTQIA+ community is near and dear to our hearts" - but it was very obvious that they really do not care about their customers AT ALL.

sohaib bodla: A very historical and alternative space within a diverse environment of Berlin. People from all backgrounds can be spotted and the feel and ambience is very inviting for young people. I attended a drag show here and it was really nice experience. If you are in Berlin and interested in cool stuff, this is the place to be.

Justyna Komuda: Fantastic atmosphere. I was for the first time in club like this and I fell in love. Party in Britney Spears style had a very good music. I hope I will be back soon.

Beatriz Puentes: It is a wonderful place in terms of ambiance and music. Unfortunately I felt very uncomfortable because several times guys were very insistent and harassing with me and other girls. That made me not be able to enjoy the music, because in several occasions I had to be alert and chasing guys away from me and my group of friends. Seeing this kind of attitude at a Queer party is sad. It has not happened to me in other clubs in Berlin. Moreover one of the guys collecting bottles and glasses on 2 occasions was very nasty and pushed me. I understand his tiredness at that point of the party but his rudeness and bad attitude he doesn't have to take it out on people who cross his path.

Fabian H (faboo): Plus: Easy to find, the people at the entrance were super nice, good prices, good music. Minus: the party I went to ('free your nipples') was rather boring and felt more like wanna-be edgy. Maybe it's just not a popular party but if there would have been a bigger and better crowd I think this place could really be awesome.

Andi Kananaj: The bodyguard is rude and aggressive. I am ready to donate him a book, since he is very curious about talking with people at the door. Just to give him a chance to do good questions; since he feel himself to be Hegel’s incarnation instead of a “not funny” bodyguard. Good luck guys. Ignorance is strength:p
Response: Hello Andi, we are not quiet shure wich bodyguard on which party you talk about. Maybe you could provide us with some more details to your visit at Untertage Club. Please send an Email to info@untertage.club and we will take care of this. Best regards your Untertage team

george tsitiridis: I was 2 times yesterday and they never open the door I don’t know why??
Response: Hey George! UNTERTAGE has no regular shedule .... yesterday we were closed! Thank you for your feedback!

Matthias “Tiasz” P: AWESOME LOCATION! :D

Urs Berger: Really cool! Were positively surprised by this location - has real potential. Light good, sound system solid and small but nice play area. Clear recommendation.

RMPR Stephan Paul Herbert Rœssler-Børg Windsors: An interesting basement, which is suitable for this or that sheltered and intimate retreat due to its crooked corners. The prices are moderate and not excessively excessive, as is often the case in nightclubs. The mine in the middle of Kreuzberg is called underground. The only reason speaking against this club is that it is run by the Boiler Sauna, an asocial and petty criminal exploiting monopolist of Berlin's gay community. To date, the autocratic management of the boiler has not reacted to my complaint about the house ban that was imposed on me there without reason. This arrogance and arbitrariness is unparalleled and will surely and unfortunately have a corresponding influence underground. Therefore only 3 instead of 4 stars.

mylife: Everywhere is smoked here, air conditioning very bad. A hell for non-smokers ... Everywhere peoples they smokes. Climate are really bad. Very bad for non smokers ...
Response: Thanks for your feedback. Officially, smoking is not permitted in UNTERTAGE. An organizer may have made an exception here. We're looking into that and thank you for letting us know.

Andrea Donato: It is the new club in Berlin where they have nudist parties and themes. It is a part of the Sauna Boiler that they closed to create this new space. As always Berlin never fails!
Response: We are very happy with it 😊

Ari Baerlin: Hard to find...was still not open at 10:15 p.m....so on to the next location...
Response: Hello Sven! Our doors open promptly at 10 p.m. You will find us in the 1st courtyard in the entrance of the house at Mehringdamm 32, directly opposite MUSTAFAS GEMÜSEDÖNER. You have to cross the hallway and go into the courtyard - a cellar staircase on the left side leads UNDERTAGE. There are signs at all waypoints! Have fun on your next visit!

Mehmet Oguzcan: very nice club if you come with a partner (couple group ) there is no problem to enter ,as matter of fact they dont wellcome 3 or 4 boy groups, its also good for the other people who come to have fun with partner all you need is cash you can find cigarettes inside also people having fun and chat over the sea

Treesakul Tongsaree: It was ok. There was no line at the entrance. And they only take cash, no card. So that was not very convenient. Though, the ATM was not far away. There are two floors. Downstairs is a dance floor and upstairs is a big smoking area. Downstairs, when people were dancing, it was quite hot and smelly like sweat ;( and upstairs smelled like smoke and the people were giving me unfriendly vibes.

Nataliya H: A bit overcrowded and very hot inside ( like anywhere in Berlin). This year it is their 20th anniversary so to celebrate it, they are inviting really great DJs, some are playing live which is sooooo amazing! Reasonable prices. Only cash. No dresscode. Many tourists. Staff is pretty friendly. But barmen are definitely overwhelmed and tired. The view is so beautiful, especially in summer.

Lester Lo: Great place with a fantastic view of the river. I would highly recommend this if you can get in. From reading the other reviews, I think me and my 2 other boy mates got very lucky getting in because it seems like boy groups of 3 typically don't get in. It is cash only when inside which is a bit annoying, however it seems like most places in Berlin are anyways... If going as a group of boys, I would recommend going earlier rather than later.

Josephine Miller: Myself and a friend (both English, but fluent in german) turned up with a couple of American friends, and were turned away because we were "too drunk" by a female bouncer who needs to sort her attitude out as she is losing them custom. We had actually had a singular drink each before turning up, and no ide why we were turned away. A waste of time, would not recommend.

Anatolii Lytvynov: i mean …… bouncers will not let you in and don’t tell you the reason (i am a techno fan, so i was dressed properly, not drunk etc). Berlin is so free and welcoming to anyone but the clubs police does not correspond to it

lisa ds: The door should be more selective. You're letting too many people in, hard to enjoy the music while being jostled every 10 seconds. And a bit expensive. Too bad because the sound system is very good and the location is incredible

Mariano Gabriel Plaquin: I'm latin. I've been living one year in Germany. Because of my facial features most people think I am Turkish or Arab. We made 3 hours queue, when we arrived at the door a blond tall security guard of long hair put a bad face and said "sorry but I won't let you in". He didn't even ask anything, so the only reason is pure racism. Never again

SHWARTINIO: The best club I was ever. The best techno and d&b in Berlin with really good people and good vibe.Thank you so much!❤️

Dawid Woźniak: Really nice place with great lighting, good techno music and amazing view at the river. The entrance fee on Saturday was 20€ + 1€ for the cloakroom.

://about blank: what do users think?

Ido Schacham: While most of Berlin's club scene has become crazy commercial and pretty pretentious , about blank is one of the only places in town that's still keeping it real. In one word: inclusiveness. Everyone has the right to enter about blank as long as there is room and you are a respectful human being. Crowds here tend to be super diverse, and to me that's always a sign of a great party, as well as the continuation of the dance culture ethos of one nation under the beat. The music at about blank changes depending on the party, so always do your research. There are two indoor dance floors and one garden tent or open air in summer, with good sound and lighting, and also plenty of day parties which I particularly enjoy. What I also really appreciate about this place, is that it also has a social and political agenda, and hosts various kinds of events throughout the week, not only parties. You can even find here pamphlets with accurate information about various drugs, something I've never seen in any other club! If this kind of stuff bangs your drum, and you consider yourself a raver, then you will probably love about blank. But if you're just looking for the latest "it" club then definitely don't fill in the blank.

João Magalhães: Very nice place to go out in Berlin. They have a big line sometimes but it's worth the wait because they're not ridiculously exclusive. The staff is very friendly but be careful at the bar because they sometimes try to rip you off on the change (no credit cards at all inside). Moreover, the have two dancefloors but one of them isn't very good since people keep passing through the crowd to go to the bathroom. They also have a huge outdoor space for the summer!

Rosie Fay: Outdoor nightclub with a ‘forest’ behind with chilled spaces to hang out. Saw a great act here - good vibes and good sound system. Moved inside at around 12 for heavier techno and strobes. Lovely friendly staff, welcoming, queer friendly. Stickers are placed over your phone cameras. €20 to get in and only cash accepted inside. There’s an atm at the front

noirvision “oxido”: Good artists, terrible service. I have been watching this club for a long time. Every weekend great artists. This Thursday ours had a gig here. We gladly came to her gig. We are a group of 4 and ordered scotch twice. What was our surprise when the new bartender said that we were drunk and he could only pour water for us. Given that we are all over 40 years old and we know exactly our capabilities. Perhaps the bartender has a God complex and he decides who and how much to pour alcohol. Of course, we found whiskey in a nearby bar, but the sediment remained. If you want a mommy who will decide your alcohol limit in a bar, then you are here )))

josie green: it feels pretty touristy, but if you want a techno night in berlin without waiting in queues to be rejected, tickets for essentially guaranteed entry are available, so you can turn up feeling comfortable which i liked. the night i went, didn’t have much variation, it was essentially all hard techno and there was no outside set happening, which was a shame, but otherwise the outside area is great

Conor Walsh: Bouncers here are good however the staff inside especially in the garderobe were pretentious. The person threw my jacket at me at the end of my night and said “do you have any questions? :)”. At least act like you don’t hate your life. However the club itself is really good nice light installations, sound systems good and the chill out garden is real chill too.

NoryaMaria: First i had to walk because you could only pay with cash....20 euros, but alright. They cover your phonecameras and you can go inside. The whole location is a vibe, the music, the people and the overall design. There is a big open area outside with hammocks and lights, it looks cute! Great expierence.

Max: Incredible experience during the summer. Not ridiculously hard door yet indoor and outdoor area are lots of fun and its easy to meet people to party with. True berlin clubbing atmosphere with people dancing - often off just clubmate + alcohol

Iulian Munteanu: First time I was there was 29.10 ( Oecus 7 years ) was a good experience. Music was insane, people from staff are really nice. RUIZ OSC1 was a insane. One advise if you want to get into every club from Berlin is to wear something black and go alone or with one more person. In my opinion Berlin is the place where people need to make connections with other people. I was came here alone and I made a lot of friends. I wish you luck guys!

Judith K: Discriminatory door policy. We queued for 2 hours to not get in. The bouncer was an extremely unfriendly (assumed) cishet white man who asked us a bunch of questions: what did we come to do here (duh), how did we hear about the club, if we all understand German. 3 out of 5 of us were from Berlin (which shouldn’t matter), and we were quite a mixed group (2 men, 3 women, 2 queer people, 2 PoC). It seems you only get in if you’re a white German (a group of PoC men behind us were denied entry as well) - funny they call themselves a leftist club.
