Stadtbad Mitte "James Simon": what do users think?

Evgeny Ignatik (Jack): Good pool. But there are two disadvantages I found: 1. The pool 50 m consists of two parts: one is with pretty deep water, while another one is too shallow (60 cm, sounds like a joke), it’s even hard to swim there, hands sometimes hit the tiles. 2. The keys for lockers are on the bracelets that are either super hard to fasten on the hand or easy to lose Otherwise, the place is good and accessible. Pretty close to my home, so I will be visiting it often. They accept Urban Sports Club.

Yong: Great swimming pool, really clean and pretty.

Andrea Covic: Here you can have a good swimm. Not overcrowded and very clean.

Siva: Yeah its confirmed again. Very rude staff. They make stupid rules to satisfy their saddistic behaviours. Also behaved differently to me than the other 2 german girls who got kicked out. That makes me think if he is racist. Pool welcomes sport swimmers by giving all the lines to them and only one to the people who are with kids or who wants to do leisure swimming. That one lane is always crowded. Left the pool in 10 mins and ofcourse never going again.

Beatrice Geoffrin: Very quiet on a Sunday night so great for swimming + beautiful building

Schwimm- und Sprunghalle im Europasportpark: what do users think?

C Decrock: What a horrible experience. I am never coming back to this place. First of all, the employees are VERY rude. They won’t help you if you don’t speak German. When we first arrived to purchase the tickets, the employees don’t speak any English, so we had to wait for another person to come and translate for us. When we finally were able to purchase the tickets, the translator told us that the German employee said in a very rude tone that we ‘must learn to speak German’. There are no clear indications in English, so it was very hard to find the way to the Pool, and everyone was very rude. To go to the pool, you have to go thru the lockers and then thru the showers, where you get to see disgusting things. We finally arrived to the pool, and there was no place leave my bag with my swimming equipment. We went on a Thursday at noon (not supposed to be peak hour). All the lanes were crowded, with 5-8 people on every lane. It is clear that 95% of the people are not swimmers at all. You had to use the same lane to go back and forward with 8 different people, and one of them was very rude telling me that I couldn’t pass them because we all had to go at the same speed (pace). So I decided to change to the one and only ‘fast lane’ where there were at least 5 swimmers. All the swimmers on the fast lane were at least 60 years old, swimming at 2:20/100m pace or slower, so I had to pass every single one of them with people going in both direction. It was HORRIBLE and I got so frustrated that I only ended up doing 1/3 of my workout. THIS PLACE IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO DO YOUR WORKOUT. IF YOU JUST WANT TO CHILL ON THE POOL MAYBE. I was charged 5,5€ to share a lane with 8 other swimmers. Never coming back.

Vladyslava Zadorozhna: Very cool watersports complex. There are several pools, 2 for the sports school and their students, one 50-meter pool for adult visitors and smaller pools for children visitors.

Levin Song: Spacious locker room and pool. If you’re looking for a nice swimming experience. This is the right place.

Tim Schwebs: One of the biggest swimming halls in Berlin and venue of many national and international competitions. So definitely a visit worth. (Btw just visiting and not swimming is for free ^^)

Nicolás Mazitelli: Its the best pool ive ever seen. All the employees where ultra kind and guided me through. I was afraid because i dont speak german but they all speak english really well. The pool was huuuge and the lanes were pretty free. Amazing experience.

J Somar: Great swimming pools for training and leisure. The installations are quite clean in general. There is a tribune to watch the competitions and a café to have some snack. There is also a direct access from the sbahn Landsberger Allee which makes it very easy to get there with public transportation. Open all year round.

Marin Dokoza: The pool is nice, clean and modern, there is also section for the kids and cafe/restaurant area with small snacks. If you go there prepare some coins to avoid problems. To use locker you will need 2 euros coin (you should put it in the locker and you will get it back) and you will need some coins to use hairdryier. The pool was quite busy on Sunday but people in the pool were mostly nice and they respected that there is more people (around 4) in one lane.

Zinia Farzana: Nice and helpful trainers. Swimming pools are lively. They could do a better job at keeping the showers cleaner though

Dinz Ramz: My favorite place for swimming because of the 50 mts length. I would recommend morning swims to avoy too crowded lanes and kids classes.

Indoor Swimming Pool Fischerinsel: what do users think?

Antonietta Trotta: I’ve been swimming here quite a few times in the last 6 months and this swimming pool became immediately favorite! Not only is very clean (unlike so many others in Berlin) but the staff is just great and helpful. Last time a young man definitely run the extra mile by sharing his personal hotspot and allowing me to check-in with my Wellpass App! If he didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to swim at all because that Sunday, as I didn’t bring cash nor my credit card 😥. I am truly thankful and again so happy to have tried this swimming pool in the first place! Keep up the good work and thank you!

Laurent Kaestli: Nice. Go in early before 10 on weekends

Rosaleen O'Brien: Nice clean pool and a relatively low fee (4 Euros) for an hour and a half swim. Very deep pool both ends so opportunities for diving and swimming deep deep deep. Good clean facilities, with well-designed changing rooms keeping outdoor wear out of the wet-side.

K. Komi: Facilities are clean and adequate. The pool length is not long, I think less than 25ms. The pool is heated which helps to get in, especially in winter. It can get crowded during after-work hours!

João Araújo: Crowded and the locker rooms can be confusing. The fact that you have to pay 5cents to use the hairdryer is ridiculous, specially cause the entrance costs 3,50€ - not that cheap. Very clean and modern building.

Stadtbad Schöneberg "Hans Rosenthal": what do users think?

Verry Susanto: It’s a very clean swimming pool, with jazucci kind of pressurized water therapy that’s good for your body, outdoor heated pool in winter, and water slide, and also a huge swimming pool. I paid 7,50€ for a 3 hours session, totally worth it.

Loay: I enjoyed having a casual swim in this Stadtbad! It was very clean, private rooms to change in addition to showers and a platform for hair drying! there were lockers with 1€ deposit which made life easier. The main pool is around 25m long, I was lucky that it was not crowdy. Also there are two platforms to jump from, but only available at certain times! What I enjoyed the most here was the salted pool, with all the Jaccuzzi effects, it kept me very relaxed till the end of the day! Moreover, there is also another area downstairs for kids, featuring a small pool where a part of it outdoors, it can surely be great in the summer! There is also one water slide, its nothing much, but surely the kids will enjoy their time there! The staff was also friendly in helping us choose which ticket to book suitable for our needs!

Katja Moßner: I liked it - it’s all very clean and a nice modern building with pools on two levels (it took me a while to understand that the swimming lanes are upstairs) and here why I gave only 4 stars: there are not real lanes set and no one here understands to at least try to swim in a straight line .. it was more like exercising in a lake with people confusingly swimming in alle directions 😅

Canny Chiang: We went for baby swimming. Clean changing room and spacious. They offer changing table for babies which is really thoughtful. Unfortunately there is only one baby changing table so we had to queue. There is also a baby bed on the floor so that you could put the baby in it when you change clothes. There are lockers in the changing room so bring 1 euro coin with you. Hair dryers cost 50 cents. The staffs are friendly. Baby swimming course was quite interesting and my baby loves it. But the quality of water is not so good. My baby stayed in water for 30 -40 mins and he had rashes on his back. They disappeared few hours later but it would be good if the quality of water is better.

Runamile Czyborra: relaxing pools of fitting size for pleasant crowd once you manage the oversized lockers maze

Yara Arafa: Great location close to several bus lines and sbahn.Large 25m pool and several small ones for children. One very large water slideClean showers and changing rooms

Stadtbad Neukölln: what do users think?

Nadine Wriesnik: Sauna currently closed! Nice architecture, lockers available and a hair dryer that is activated by 5c coins so don’t forget to bring those. Lockers and showers available. The pool is relatively small and you can swim short laps however the temperature of the water is freezing! Good place if you have an hour and don’t know what else to do, wouldn’t go out of the way…

M F: Freezing water temperature Sauna closed Small swimming lanes (18 meters or so) Lovely architecture Friendly staff Spacious locker room

Tobias Kunkel: Nice swimming pool with great antique optics.

Raphael Erik: You can come swim around (breaststroke) here as a tourist in two beautiful pools or relax on a pool chair or sauna. Also bring your own towel, flip flops (optional), body wash, Shampoo, and an extra bag for your wet swimwear. Hair dryers and lockers are available for a few coins.

Munkhnast Lamjav (Mo): Beautiful interior but bit too short for me for swimming.

Dawid Golik: Great architecture but not the best conditions to swim, also no access for men on Mondays.

jared goldman: Sunday early session. The pool is small 25 m. Luckily not so busy and most people only stayed 20 mins. So by the end I had the entire pool to myself. Beautiful surroundings and good for a relaxing recovery swim. But not a place for a workout.

Kat Siurek: really nice atmosphere. The water has perfect temperature if you want to swim, but if you want to hang out in the water (even after swimming some rounds), it gets really cold fast. anyway, definitely worth a visit.

dorian hanaor: Sauna is not available unless you come at very specific times. Prices are comparatively high.

Bohdan Iuylskiy: All, what is necessary for good training is present in this swimming pool, all is good

sunny kumar: It is open till 9:30 pmPrice : 5.5 euro eachTwo pools , one for child and learner and second for professional swimmer

Harshita Tiwari: Big swimming pool and quite big kids pool as well. The locker and showers are clean and nice.

daryoush haj-najafi: The pool is lovely. The changing rooms and showers super clean. The staff mostly super nice. But anyone who swims at all seriously absolutely can not swim here the two fast lanes were so slow I had to tread water behind people even after leaving them a 15 m head start. In most countries in the world I have to swim in the medium lane. But sadly in Berlin most pools have zero lane discipline and very slow swimmers make swimming impossible. If a pool isn’t too busy or is 50m it’s OK, but this pool although not particularly busy there was no way you could swim. The German attitude in their liberal way was if people want to swim slowly what can we do? But first off why have fast lanes and just let people swim slowly in them then? Secondly I’m a taxpayer and Berlin Baeder card payer too, medium swimmers like me and fast swimmers deserve somewhere to swim too. Sure one of the life guards recommended Europasportpark but that’s 45 minutes away, it seems insane when every other country in Europe manages to have a lane system that people who actually like swimming can find it impossible to swim in their local pool in Berlin. And let’s remind ourselves this is a pool with lanes! Of course you don’t expect to swim lengths in a fun pool. Its just so frustrating to waste time getting to a pool, having checked online that it’s open and they have lanes to find its impossible to use. Another gentleman also said he couldn’t swim more than two lanes and was on his way out.

Flo Pol: I went on Thursday evening (after 20.00 to have the night tarif). It was clean. Not too full, but also not empty. It was good to have a long swim, and then to rest a bit in the smaller bath which is also less crowded!

Pritam Kole: Sometimes crowded but rest is fine..

Goran Madlic: Everything, from staff, showers, changing rooms to the Swimmingpool, was great. Good designed, so you can go directly from changing rooms, to the showers, and from there directly to the swimmingpool. Air temperature was 28°C and the water temperature was29°C, and it was perfect.

Mr. X Flo: Olympic size swimming pool, easy to book and pay via their online page. The pool water is clean and the reception people are always nice.

Leonid Levitchi: All you need to have a nice swimming season.

Jayantraj Bhagyawant: The pool is long and has good quality of water. However, the lady at the reception is not that great. Also, no glasses or swimming pads were offered even when asked a couple of times. The bathrooms, changing areas and lockers are good. Worth a try.

simon steuer: Best pool in the Borough of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and perhaps even the east of Berlin, just renewed the pool with a competition style pool. Best very early in the morning.

Afroza Khanam: My kids said that, the securities & educators are rough....dont know whether they are rasist or not!

Krystian Ortyl: Not recommended. Very cold inside... I understand that there are problems with the gas, but what I saw yesterday blew me away. After 20 minutes, my partner and I had to leave

Daniela amritha: Supercool, the waves are really fun. You have to book online, only restricted number of people is allowed in a 3-hour- time -slot which makes it not so crowded. Nice corona side effect👍. 3 pools: one for waves, one for non swimmer and a 25 -meter-pool for swimmers only. Perfect. And once again: nice that the pools are not so crowded in these times. protocol could always stay like that.

Agustín: It is a nice place to spend part of your day. Pools are very nice 😊

Amal Roy: Had a lot of fun when all the facilities were open

Peter Adolfsen Løhmann: Good wave swimming pool, although the life guards, of which there were plenty, were alas reluctant to open the jumping pool. Water temperature on the cold side for smaller kids for longer stays, as well as the room temperature, and sauna access requires a special card. Good swimming areas and small, but fun, water slide.

Tomasz Frątczak: This is a fairly big place. Has a very big 50m pool inside and outside, plus good facilities for kids to play. It is not very modern but maintained well enough.

Sadegh Solati: The building is a bit old but clean and well maintained. It has a shallow end and a baby pool.

Alistair Hart: Awesome for little ones (Kita age). The water is really warm (about 35C) and the children’s pool is very shallow (an average size 3 year old can touch the bottom across most of the pool). There are also plentiful water toys (floats) of all sizes. Every now an then (every 30 minutes?) a big fountain in the middle of the pool will start up for a few minutes to add to the fun. The only negative points would be that it can get a bit busy and that it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere, with only street parking available.

Ali Arslan: Good pool for kids but weird people in management. The woman on ticket counter was extremely rude. She had no manners for talking to people politely.

Julian Krause: One of the best baby and toddler pools in Berlin. Pro: -Water 36°C / Air 40°C -Staff very friendly -Loads of water toys free of charge! -1 adult pool, 1 childrens pool, 1 very tiny baby pool Con: -bit pricy -limited parking space

Adam Read: Great for kids, but too small for normal, adult swimming.

Felipe Forero: Family friendly. Small, economic, and warm

Ximena Hernandez: Great pool to take the little ones

Evgeny Ignatik (Jack): Nice Swimmingpool. Yes, it’s just 25 meters, but the facility is clean, water is good. There are trampolines (1m and 3m) if you want to jump, the swimming tracks are pretty wide, the pool is not shallow (like in St. James swimmingpool in Mitte one with 60 cm on one of the ends). Also, there are whirlpools and a tube like in aqua park. Good showers and toilets. And you get to change in a dedicated to you only little room that you lock up then and use as your locker you will come back later to.

Shining-Ana: Too expensive for it’s quality. (I live around the corner)1. Staff is almost always unfriendly.2. The 2 pools are too small for the community.

L Z: Very nice facilities, with 3 pools for kids and family and 2 little round massage pools. But, it’s crowded and poor service. The lady who let my little boy get out of the main pool was rude. Though we realized we shouldn’t bring our kid in because of he is yet a swimmer, the attitude was not acceptable. My boy was a little scared as we were nearly shouted out. The other swimmers looked at us and her which I believed they also got surprised. Will not return since no fun to play in just a corner of a pool.

Oscar GB: After the pandemie restrictions, the cost is the same, but the kids water is much colder and the whirpools are still closed.

Mariam S. Khan: My kid was registered for two courses, initial one for 10 classee and the second of 20 classes for Seepferdschen. But this was a horrible experience. The instructor never bothered to explain to him while he was among the slower ones. Surprisingly, after initial 5 or 6 classes, instructors were always out of water by the side of the pool and directing kids from outside. Would never recommend this

Paul Bullard: Very friendly and helpful staff enjoyed the facilities very much will be going back again

Runamile Czyborra: The Southern Neukölln Lipschitz bath is much more generously spacious and clean and modern, and coping with a much larger crowd than the Northern Neukölln Ganghofer Stadtbad and Columbia Sommerbad! Card payment accepted and welfare reduction granted.

Hemant Kawadkar: Really good and clean. The instructors are really good and friendly.

RuffnTuff Records: Nice place to enjoy the summer days . XXX

Savas: Really good. Clean pool water. Crowded but not disturbing. Nice place for children.

Tomasz Wylęgała: Swimming pool ok, I dont like that some women enter swimming ppol with full cover made of material which holds dirt instead lycra material which should be used for swimming pools, it makes water dirty and stinky

Sara (yiyeonii): Old times remind me on that..

Sohni Zahid: Very good instructors
