ali kepenek: Sadly experiencend first hand racism in this little store, i arrived to enquire about repairing some jewelry but on arrival, this owner (blonde white woman) saw me from the window and quickly changed the sign from open to close and explained she turned me away for being a foreigner and brown. Avoid and do no support places that judge on skin colour.

As our colleague tried to explain to you yesterday, her reaction to turn the door sign to "closed" had nothing to do with your skin colour or you being a "foreigner”, but simply with the fact that she saw two men at the door, one in "gangster style clothing" and the other one not recognizable to her through hoody and with his back to the door. And since we are not a fruit shop but a jewelry store, it seemed to our colleague a bit like someone walking into a bank with a helmet on his head… Moreover, last year we barely escaped a robbery. So it came to the fact that she first turned the door sign over in an unsettled way - in retrospect a very misleading action - but then opened the door. In the course of the conversation with you, she tried to explain her motives to you and already apologized to you. Since it seems that this has unfortunately not reached you, we would like to repeat it in public: We apologize for giving you the impression that you were treated racially - that was not intended. We are no racists - we have friends, customers and business partners all over the world and that is good and inspiring!
Stephanie Walravens: really great little store with a great mix of jewellery. lots of unique pieces, contemporary to classic, and good price range.
Philipp Hübner: My experience is based on the order to have an engagement ring made in the goldsmith "Auguste Froschhammer". The work was made by Britta Ehlich. For this purpose, an appointment was first made to discuss the possibilities. In the gallery you can collect ideas for this, also through the exhibited works of other goldsmiths and goldsmiths. Basically, you can let your imagination run wild and receive comprehensive advice on materials and prices. Since the ring was supposed to be a surprise, a ring band was first made of silver as a trial. These can then be cleverly accommodated and you have already found the right ring size. The ring, in which an old diamond was housed, was made in about 2 weeks. Particular care was taken in the choice of materials. In my case, the setting was made of 900 yellow gold and the ring band was made of 750 yellow gold. The result overwhelmed me and it is an absolutely unique piece. After a while I took a few pictures and made them available here because I know how difficult it is to find the "right" ring for a marriage proposal. After all, it should be "the" ring. In this respect, I can only advise against going to a large chain. Due to the positive experience, it is not difficult for me to get advice here when looking for wedding rings.
Nobczeck Czeckem: All around top! I had earrings made, now two pairs, as a gift. They were always great and met exactly the desire. The advice of Katrin Detmers helped me enormously to find out what would be the best. You will find a lot of experience, solid craftsmanship and a decent price-performance ratio.

Anne Andrees: I was attracted by the colorful and bright shopping display - you find enormous birds and pompoms for your ears as well as tons of absurd creations. However, compared to other shops with beads, there was not a huge selection and prices were really steep. This orange fuzzy ball was priced at 1€, but is smaller than my thumb nail. Combined with the arrogant air of the owner, I recommend shopping elsewhere.

Rowena Johnson: Poor customer service. I wanted to buy some earrings, they were under 12€ so the store wouldn’t accept card payment. I asked for them to be put aside so I could get cash. The owner said yes. Then I decided to try on a dress, I really liked it too and told the store owner that I’d come back for both. She said “ok, don’t worry we’ll be here”. When I came back she had sold the dress. When I asked why she just shrugged and said “do you know how many people say they’ll come back”. No apology. Instead she just turned her back and went on with her phone call. Very weird vibe. I won’t go back. Update: following the below response from the owner, I’m pleased to say we were able to resolve the problem. I went back to the store today and although the owner wasn’t there she had made the arrangement to order the dress again, as she mentioned in her response below. I dealt with a very lovely woman who apologised for the mistake and assured me they’d call once the dress arrived. I’m delighted to have this resolved and look forward to hearing from them. Thank you :)

You came and left twice and we kept the earstuds for you aside , but we didnt understand that you ve liked the dress aswell ( you didnt say to us that you liked it , and left very sudden like you were in a rush ) of course if you would ve say that you like to have the dress we would have reserved it for you as we did with the earstuds ! We really never understood you wanted the dress , sorry about that , but we can make one for you if you really liked it . the dresses are handmade , we can have it ready within a week. Let us know :)

Julez Rulez: What a great experience! We came the whole way from Norway to make our own wedding rings - and we have not regretted it AT ALL - on the contrary! Under the supervision of Francesca we made our dream rings and learned at the same time a lot about the art of a gold smith. With calmness, professionalism and a smile we were guided through the whole process! The initial fear/insecurity soon melted away with the metal out of which our rings were forged. A highly recommended experience for couples who want to do something different, something personal :)
matan shalit: We had a great time creating our own rings with the experts from mvh. We even got to repurpose family gold in the process! The rings are perfect, fairly priced, and now contain tons of extra sentimental value. Highly recommend!

Steren Giannini: We ordered our wedding rings at mvh and are very satisfied. We dealt entirely online: we met via Skype to better understand what we had in mind, they then sent us ring finger sizers via mail, we paid via wire transfer before and after receiving the rings. The rings are unique Mokume Gane rings. I strongly recommend mvh if you want truly special rings.
