Löwenpalais: what do users think?

Tilman Benecke: Shortly before the Berlin terminus, on the outskirts of the city, where the wild boars live, there is a villa in the middle of a residential area that was probably owned by the upper classes in the past. Whoever enters this venerable old building feels completely overwhelmed by the feudal history of this house and thus immediately belongs to the upper class. But be careful: You are visually overwhelmed here. There are paintings and posters hanging around and also some that might want to become one. However, a big minus, whoever installed the sound system should do something about the harsh sound

Eloise Fulmer: Everybody always raves about the Löwenpalais and it is really nice. Shabby Schick on the inside with a nice garden in the summer. I have been here twice. Once for a fundraising event and once for a wedding. It was nice. With that said, I don't see what the hype is all about. It's a nice location but nothing spectacular.

William van Tubbs: Really nice place, an old mansion that can be rented for Partys and such. Easy to access with the bus, just a few minutes from Kurfürstendamm. The outside area is a good size, there is a small Patio in the front and back. Steps everywhere though, so people with difficulties walking will find access to the house a bit of a challenge. Large rooms with very nice old flooring and high ceilings. Only one room was furnished when we were there, I assume that they offer further furnishing if necessary.

Hans Wurst: One of the most impressive locations in town. I had the best time there recently.

Laird Attila Bod: Best Location, congratulations to Jörg Starke from Lord Attila Bod

Sipiwe Jere: Lovely Events with ma girl

meysam kiani: Nice place to find new artist and chillen

kindl “kindl 666” otmapp: .... ok!

Carola Sliwinski: We were looking around for a loyalty for a wedding and came across the Löwenpalais. Here we were received very friendly and advised. The outdoor area is very nice and will also be expanded. Inside there is space for a good 150 people, ideal for celebrations. There is also a large wardrobe room and in the entrance there is a bar with seating. In the rooms themselves there are always changing exhibitions of paintings. That was the only thing that made my daughter decide against it as she would like to know what's on the walls for the wedding. But we would like to celebrate a birthday or something similar there....

Andreas Meyer: Nice location, great evening with jazz music

Chumi Afkir: I had a private dinner party and I must say Mika Events did an amazing Job. Everything was very detailed planned and I had nothing to worry about. Would always recommend them for private parties at home.

IDO Events: what do users think?

Yuliya Stryzhak: Greetings! It is our pleasure to write this feedback for the IDO Events team. First of all, what is worth to be noted is professionalism, reliability and flexibility. And also thank you for helping us to make out of almost impossible the best day during this difficult time. We moved to Berlin not long ago, and we didn't know anyone who could recommend a wedding planner. So the main criterion for choosing was the website and examples of events in social networks. Among the many profiles of wedding planners, IDO's profile is noticeably different. It attracted our attention first of all by its concept, clarity, and at the same time it was the most modern website, and the info was given precise. From the first call we found an understanding and started organizing our day X. All communication was completely online, which was super convenient. We almost never had to make difficult choices, because IDO always sent a selection of vendors that fully met our desires. IDO selects vendors just perfectly. All advice and recommendations from IDO have always been constructive. And what is very important, they strictly kept the budget, but at the same time were very flexible to requests from our side to balance the budget between different costs. Overall, in just 4 months, we managed together with IDO to make the best day of our lives. Best Julia & Slava

Daniel Armitage: From start to finish working alongside IDO EVENTS, and in particular Sharon, was fantastic. Constant communication, updates and help for all eventualities, this incredible planner has planning a wedding down to a fine art and someone you can trust wholeheartedly to not only plan your special day but also find the best people for the jobs to make your wedding the best it could ever be. I’ve never seen a planner work so hard for a couple and willingly give everything in order for each couple to have a flawless and perfect wedding. If you need a planner for your wedding then speak to Sharon, if you’re not looking for a planner still speak to Sharon and you’ll realise why you need a planner. Just incredible

Jimmy Ross: I was really happy with IDOs help planning my wedding. They were easy to work with and contact throughout the process, and all the vendors they suggested turned out to be excellent on the day (the location too of course). Sharon and her colleagues were a great help on the day too, sorting out some unexpected issues which would have been really difficult to do alone.

Marlene Schufferth: A great wedding party thanks to IDO Events! We got married this July and hired IDO to plan our wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the result. It was a fantastic day, well planned from start to finish and designed with great attention to detail and quality. From location, catering, styling to flowers, all recommendations from IDO were an absolute hit and working with Sharon was absolutely great and relaxed. As a newlywed couple, we were able to enjoy our big day to the fullest and without stress.

Linny Smith: So it took a little longer than that - but the memory and joy of our wedding this year remains unbroken! It was really sooooo wonderful. During the planning in the year leading up to our party, I always had brief moments of stress, but it wasn't a problem for the girls and they were always able to get me on the carpet (how lucky for my husband) and on the day of the I was super relaxed for a few days and we were able to really enjoy our boisterous party and the time with family and friends. And thank you for the really good choice of food - it's good that we trusted you, my highlight was the starter. THANKS <3

Sara P.: Where should I start ? I couldn't stop raving about it. Our wedding on Lake Garda was an absolute dream 🙏🏻 Despite the less than perfect weather, Sharon and her team managed to make our day a perfect one. The planning and organization was an absolute highlight from start to finish. None of this would have been possible without Sharon and her team. The cooperation was super professional with many great and funny moments at the same time a big thank you! Sharon is really a very loving wedding planner with a certain eye for detail. I can only recommend them to everyone. Thank you 🙏🏻

Patrick ZF: Thank you dear Sharon and dear IDO event team! What would we have done without Sharon? We met Sharon for the first time in April 2019 and were enthusiastic about her from the first second, so we canceled all further appointments to get to know other wedding planners. Sharon convinced us with her passion, flair for colors and design and professionalism and fascinated us with her great sense of humor and her warm personality. The planning of our wedding scheduled for July 2020 could finally begin. Actually. A little spoiler in advance: three postponements and lots of bottles of wine followed before we finally have our wedding two years later in May 2022. And what can we say: it wasn't just perfect, it was our own fairytale wedding. Sharon and her team planned the wedding with incredible attention to detail, brought in wonderful ideas, suggested great service providers, found the most beautiful locations and organized everything incredibly well. Our most said sentence in the corona pandemic was not for nothing: "What would we do without Sharon?" Even with the third shift, there was only understanding and words of encouragement. We can only say thank you again and again for everything that Sharon has done with her team. The feedback from the guests was overwhelming, the design of our wedding caused countless amazement and the end result left us and everyone else more than thrilled. Everything was perfectly timed, everything worked and just looked beautiful. On the day of the wedding, Sharon and her team pulled all the strings in the background, so neither we nor the groomsmen had to worry about anything. With Sharon you not only get an experienced and professional wedding planner who is technically beyond any doubt, but also an incredibly funny, charming, patient, understanding and warm-hearted person. With her by your side, you can just sit back and be sure it's going to be a perfect wedding. Thank you Sharon for letting us meet you. Thank you for everything. We look forward to planning our silver wedding with you. 😄❤️

Freakin' Fine Weddings_Coachings by Svenja Schirk: Sharon is a very sympathetic, dear person, who I really appreciate as a colleague! Her sense of style is just stunning - I love clicking through her work on Instagram. It's great what you're doing with your team, dear Sharon!

Jennifer K: We originally hired Sharon and her team from IDO Events to plan our summer 2020 wedding. In retrospect, this was the best decision of the entire wedding preparations. Not only that we would never have found the perfect location without IDO Events (we had previously tried unsuccessfully and the location we finally chose was completely unknown to us and is not advertised as a wedding location on the internet). Sharon and her team took over the planning and organization of the wedding very professionally. When selecting the service providers, we were able to rely on Sharon's experience, recommendations and network. The corona pandemic forced us to postpone the already planned wedding until next year. It would certainly have taken us weeks and countless nerves to replan and reorganize all of this and to negotiate the terms of the postponement with the countless service providers. Sharon and her team did this in an incredibly short time and they actually managed to postpone everything 1:1 without cutbacks by a whole year. Sharon was always available for us, responded very quickly to e-mails and questions, implemented our wishes perfectly in the shortest possible time, always stayed calm with problems (e.g. defective organ a few weeks before the church wedding) and had great solutions ready. On the wedding day itself, she and her team accompanied the wedding very professionally, coordinated the service providers and made sure that everything went as planned and that we could concentrate fully on the guests and our celebration. She and her team were always available when needed, but otherwise kept such a professional background that they were almost imperceptible. Thanks to IDO Events, our wedding celebration was THE perfect day that we wished for. Not only we, but also our guests are enthusiastic even weeks later. We can only recommend Sharon and her team to every wedding couple who want stress-free wedding preparation and a celebration that is super organized down to the last detail!

Rahel: We hired IDOevents to plan our wedding on October 10th, 2020 and we are super happy that we had such a great, flexible and hard-working duo by our side in such an uncertain time. Sharon took over the communication with all service providers for us and always gave us helpful and valuable tips during the planning. Since our wedding took place in the middle of the Corona chaos, there were a lot of hurdles and a lot of back and forth in the weeks before the wedding. IDOevents was ready months in advance to create a plan B in case the wedding had to be postponed. We waited until a few days before the wedding to see how the Corona regulations regarding the number of guests for celebrations developed and it turned out that only 25 guests are allowed to attend if we let it take place in the planned location. Our hearts dropped and we were quite desperate because we could never imagine a wedding with 25 people (not even our families fit in that number). Thank God the two found a solution shortly before: move the celebration to another location. In the end, 2 days (!) before the wedding, the two of us started to reschedule the entire celebration and move it to another location so that we could celebrate with 50 guests. That's what you call commitment and we're sure that you can't expect that from many other event planners. Of course, some compromises had to be made due to the location swap and additional things had to be organized here and there, such as a shuttle for the guests, which the two of them arranged without any problems. Sharon and Vincenza clarified the changes last minute with all service providers and even put in a night shift for us before the wedding day to decorate the new location as beautifully as possible, because otherwise there would not have been enough time for it. They have also helped us to ensure that all hygiene and protection measures are observed and that all guests have stayed healthy. The two of them really gave everything to make our wishes come true and handled the circumstances in an exemplary manner, even in crisis situations - that is exactly what distinguishes good event planning. In the end we had a wonderful wedding and a super great celebration that all the guests loved. Without IDOevents the whole thing would never have been possible and we can only recommend them as wedding planners, especially in uncertain and complicated times like these!! Your flexibility and commitment are really worth their weight in gold!

The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin: what do users think?

Jonathan Ibraaheem Marshall: Lovely rooms, stylish and comfortable with a thoughtful design. A great idea having a walk in closet with plenty of storage room. Bathroom was great with plenty of space and nice amenities. The only downside was the chaotic and busy lobby, no real greeting for guests and for this standard of hotel you would expect service to be better and more personalized. Perfect location well placed for visiting the Berlin sites.
Response: Dear Jonathan Ibraaheem Marshall, thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are more than happy that you liked our design and interieur. Please accept my sincerest apologies that we were not able to meet your expectations. Kind regards Nadine Guest Experience Manager

Polina Surina: Amazing experience in NY eve! The best hotel in Berlin! And in Germany. Room was nice, 🛌 super comfortable. Bathroom ♥️ Service is outstanding! Super professional Team working. Reception! Breakfast, bar ❤️ oyster fresh Champagne good temperature) Special thanks to Mr. Richter and William who made our stay very special and unforgettable. Girls Team)

Christina Scala: The hotel itself is beautiful. Staff super helpful! Bar was amazing! Piano player and all. Super fun. The room was what you expect from the Ritz. There was mold in the shower. Not what you expect from a ritz. A Marriott titanium platinum member, I would expect more .

Paige Neilson: Fantastic hotel and staff. Best ritz I’ve ever stayed at, will definitely be back! Alberto took care of us and made it such an incredible cocktail experience every night. Fabulous champagne hour in the lobby! 🥂

John Mccleskey: I have reservations here and reached out to management with a question. Typically, luxury properties reach out to ME before I arrive to see about questions and other possible services I may be interested in. This hotel cannot even be bothered to respond to a question I have about my stay. Does not give me a good feeling but I’ll update after my stay.

P. W. Golda: As an ambassador Marriott member, with having enjoyable stays at RC properties worldwide, I didn’t expect to witness such low level of service and quality at a Ritz Carlton hotel. The Marriott website and app showed 4 types of suites available during our stay at the RC Berlin, yet we didn’t receive any upgrade - not even to a better room. The hotel doesn’t care much about the loyalty the guests. The reception tried to sell us a suite instead of upgrading us, as it was vacant either way. Not even a higher room category was provided, despite 10 types or rooms/suite in total being available. The person at the reception had an unkempt appearance, too. The bathroom in our room had fungus between the tiles in the shower room and the shower head didn’t work, at all. The room seemed quite outworn and in need of an urgent renovation with an objectionable odor. No streaming functionality on the TV with our mobile devices. We got confirmed the late check out set for 4 pm and we activated the do not disturb button, yet the housekeeping knocked twice on the door and one entered our room between 1 and 4 pm on the day of departure. This is unacceptable. Even though the breakfast seems alright, also with vegan options being provided, the service isn’t able to provide basics orders. In the first morning, they forgot our avocado toast order. After letting the staff recheck on them, … well 30 mins. later nothing still happened. We gave up on them, as the breakfast service was over by then. In the second morning, we ordered coffee for the second time, which also didn’t show up ultimately - after 20 minutes of waiting. A neighboring table had to literally point out to the waitress to “get released from the dirty crockery and plates” remaining not cleared, as no one came to take them away. The welcome reception at the breakfast restaurant was the best best. A lovely and very nice, warm-hearted lady of color - who simply outdoes everyone else - she is such a hard working and caring person. Brilliant and flawless performance by her. She is the reason it’s 2 stars not 1 star. We felt bad for her that she works with so many unmotivated and reckless persons, who apparently do not care about their quality of work and standard of services provided to the guests. As for us - we will never stay there again. It was our third and herewith the last stay at the Ritz Carlton Berlin. You cannot provide such a poor experience whilst charging averagely €450 per night. There are way better hotels in Berlin, that still deliver the 5* experience flawlessly. And there was also a fire alarm at 5 am in the Saturday morning…of course, as it seemed without a proper reason afterwards.

netgeek77: We got to Berlin early in the morning a couple of days before Christmas. We were appreciative that the hotel let us check in early and upgraded us. The staff who checked us in gave us a quick tour and walked us up to our room. The concierge was extremely helpful with our concert tickets and other questions. This was beyond what I expected from a luxury hotel. What the hotel fell short was in breakfast. During our entire stay, we had to wait for at least 20-30 minutes for someone to come get us coffee/espresso. And when we tried to order omelet, avocado toast or other items, the staff would not write down anything, and subsequently they would get it wrong 8 out of 10 times. This degraded the entire experience equivalent to a 2 star hotel.

Volkan Adiyaman: Hello, this is the first time I am writing a review. I really appreciate the Ritz Carlton and its services, but I have never experienced this kind of humiliation and annoyance. I will try to describe my experience in bullet points: I was there for 1 week and rented a suite. - The phone on the desk did not work for days and I asked for assistance several times. This problem forced me to make my "in-room dining" calls in the bathroom next to a toilet for days (gross). - The phone started sending annoying beeps. - The sewage did not drain - Soap and toothbrushes were missing, I asked for them by phone but no one brought them to me.... so the next day I asked at the reception myself - Room service was quite rude at one point. When I asked for fennel tea, they replied "I don't know what you're talking about" (This point could be subjective, but in the world I live in, there are many ways to answer this question.... like... no, we don't ? ) - I asked for a shuttle service to pick up my wife from the main train station. The concierge told me the price (without being asked) and told me: "Not everyone pays this much money for such a short way".... I mean... what the heck? I don't care, what's the message? This happened after 4 days... What I am writing here is not what I know from a Ritz Carlton. I am shocked and disappointed at the same time by the Ritz Carlton in Berlin.
Response: Dear Volkan Adiyaman, Thank you for taking the time to write your review on Google. Of course, we would not want your feedback to be unanswered. First of all, we would like to apologize that you had such a challenge during your first few days with us. In terms of the phones we are very sorry that the phones were not working flawlessly as they should have however, we replaced them in your suite in order not to disturb you during your work and leisure time. After you informed us about the sewage not draining we resolved this issue right away. Our sincere apologies that your soap and dental kit were not delivered right away, we have launched an internal follow up with our Ladies and Gentlemen in order to improve this point and are grateful for you feedback. Additionally, we have reviewed your remark about the conversation with the in room dining department with the in room dining manager and would like to take this opportunity to note that we have immediately organized an organic fennel for you in order to provide you with a freshly brewed fennel tea. Our concierge team is very sorry that you feel like you did not receive the service expected nevertheless, our concierge team would like to give each guest the opportunity to decide whether they would like to opt for a taxi for 15€ or a private limousine service for 125€. Therefore, our guests are being informed about the prices upfront. Regardless, we thank you for still being a guest with us and wanting to extending your stay. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. Kind regards, Florian Guest Experience Manager

Mustafa Khaliq: Spent 5 nights at the Ritz Carlton Berlin for our first visit to the city. We were immediately greeted warmly and throughout our stay by the doorman Terry. A beautiful well-kept property and helpful staff made our stay truly enjoyable. Front desk staff such as Stella were extremely helpful and attentive. The doormen were all great and friendly including a young gentleman named Barek who helped us get a child's bike from a neighbouring hotel so that we could have a family bike ride through the nearby Tiergarten. Concierge staff such as Marc and Tabea were extremely helpful with their restaurant recommendations and reservations. They also advised us on boat tours, nearby attractions and just generally getting us oriented to the area. We found there are a lot of attractions, shopping and good restaurants very conveniently close to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was elaborate and decadent and the service staff was great. If I had to mention a drawback, was disappointed there wasn't a functioning hot tub and the pool was on the small side. That being said, the entire fitness and sauna area otherwise was clean, modern and continuously monitored/restocked. Looking forward to our next visit to the city and this hotel.
Response: Dear Mustafa Khaliq, wow, thank you very much for your lovely review. We are more than happy that you enjoyed your stay with us to the fullest and I will forward your special thanks to all the staff you mentioned. We truly hope to have the chance to welcome you back soon and wish you all the best. Warm regards Nadine Guest Experience Manager

Alice Guth: Incredible experience. Wonderful service, everyone was so friendly. Alberto was so kind and we loved his champagne show in the lobby! I hope to visit again soon!Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

House of Weekend: what do users think?

Mirosław Czerliński: Great event location with fantastic view on Berlin! You have here space to sit, stand ;), bars and club dancefloor. Place has 2 levels and great roof lighting on first stage. It is located on top of one of the highest buildings in the city. 🌆🌇 Perfect for sunset!

Lucy Joa: We had our company party at The Weekend last Friday and it was simply brilliant. Philip and his team were amazing from the start and always happy to adapt to our plans. They certainly wanted us to have a great night. The location itself is stunning and the views from the rooftop all over Berlin and of course right next to the famous Fernsehturm were great and made for an awesome team photo! :-) I can only recommend this place!!

Kingsley Seun IGE: Arguably the best clubs that I have ever visited in Berlin. Respectful, polite, and business-minded staff. I made them understand it was my first time and they took their time to explain things to me. Excellent location, amazing view from the rooftop bar. Can't forget this experience quickly. Funny enough I saw some reviews that almost discouraged me from visiting, but I wanted to make my own impression. More so, it was the closest to my hotel and I just didn't want to go far away that evening. I will highly recommend this to anyone. Prices of drinks are also decent.

Christian J. Henriquez: Despite all the bad opinions I went ahead and visited this place while I was in Berlin, the guards at the entrance were really nice, just asked me two questions, and they let me in, the drinks and beer were really good with a reasonable price, the music was fantastic! I can't complain, I had a good time. Btw, I'm Latino and never felt discriminated against because of my origins, they usually have Latino night, I don't understand the people that complain about that.

S Dahn Barrett: What a location! We had a company event and have been lucky enough to get a clear evening. The view is breath-taking, and we were able to spend most of the evening on the rooftop terrace. The decoration has been very thoughtful, and they made sure to put out enough blankets, and pillows for us as well as lovely fairy lights and candles. The staff was absolutely brilliant, everyone had a drink in their hand within minutes and they made sure we feel taken care off. We did not feel rushed out, even as the evening turned into late night and the group got smaller and smaller, it has been a wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back!

Sara Böttger: We had our company summer party at Weekend Club last Friday and it was an absolute blast. The location is amazing but most important everyone at Weekend Club is really nice and gives their best to guarantee a good time at their club. Normally I still have to organize a lot, but at Weekend Club they take care of basically everything and I could just enjoy myself. Drinks, Food, Staff everything 5 of 5 stars. Thank you soo much!

Afroditi Pagoni: We recently organized a company event in the House of Weekend. It was a great experience overall. The Event Manager & his team were very accommodating and hospitable, the food served during the event was delightful and the staff was always eager to help with a smile. Thank you guys, see you soon again :)

Ngwem Mbibi: Great venue… I organized a corporate event there ( Summer Party2022) and it was great. The team was super from the beginning until the end. Big thank you to the event manager, Philippe. I can only recommend ! R.

A Google User: We had our Summer Event here, it is a fantastic venue that is built well for small to medium sized companies. The additional services that they offer, such as Catering and DJ's are great and the venue hosts communicated well with us for the event. The majority of our employees enjoyed themselves until the end, however, I will note that the staff's friendly mood and vibe rapidly changed to an aggressive tone once the party was done. We found that some of their communication was quite off putting, while I respect that staff have to reinforce rules, the manner in which they do it needs to change. It spoilt our mood at the end of the event.

Carolin Buder: We celebrated our company Christmas Party at the Weekend and were amazed by a great view, delicious food and a great service team. We had a great event and evening - thanks a lot for making that possible!

Messe Berlin: what do users think?

Tech Zilla: Great venue, very well organised and plenty of seating for resting and eating. It is huge so be ready for a lot of walking, it’s also well signposted and easy to find what you are looking for. There are plenty of toilet facilities and loads to see, I visit every year for IFA and I love Berlin. The train Station (Messe Sud) leads straight into the venue grounds, remember that there are 2 entrances, North and South. Well worth a visit.

A. S.: What an amazing venue!! Futuristic architecture from 1979. It‘s closed since 2014 but now open for ten days of the exhibition „The Sun Machine Is Coming Down“.

Rémi Ngo: Good places for international conventions. Restroom and sanitary could be better but was fine. However, for foreigner customers, it might be sometime difficult to find your way. Should put some stickers on the floor for helping locating stands.

SeungKyun HONG: IFA!!! Our company(BrainU) is attending the exhibition!! (Next Hall)

Barbara Ilijas Juranic: Great place, great people!

Otgon Gan: Exhibition hall is pretty nice and well organized. Easy to reach from downtown. However, it has small cafeteria and food tasted bad and expensive. For future exhibitors, it would be much better to bring your food with you or ask someone who can deliver you. After I bought a cup of tea, I asked if I can have hot water refill, because hall was pretty cold due to AC. But cafeteria wanted to charge me €3.20 just for the refill. Based on food taste and choices, 1 star goes to the cafeteria.

Frank F Bernath: Nice exhibition center. Huge area , good location. Easy to reach from every spot of the city. You have to walk a bit to the main entrance but less than 10-5min from metro station. Clean toilets and jummy snack and eat bars.

DEEPAK YADAV: Good place for large exhibition.

Bridgette Brew: Hard work getting around this massive space. Food selection could improve.

Brian Jones: The European Consumer Electronics Show. All the latest and greatest technologies in a massive convention center in Berlin, Germany.

Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin: what do users think?

Mohammadreza Khoramtabrizi (Reza): Wonderful concert hall. I guess it is the most fascinating concert hall in all Germany. I've been there for 50Cent concert and enjoyed. People used to gather an hour before and after the show. They all playing music and dancing all around enjoying German beer and food. I definitely recommend it. Also you can see the Berlin wall just around the corner

Арина Тулунжи: I was at a Blackpink concert. It was incredibly bright. Everything is well thought out. The only thing I didn't like was the long queues, and to go to the concert you have to put your bag in a container. And so everything went fine, I was super happy

LF: Probably the biggest event arena in Berlin. The facility offer plenty of toilets, kiosks and amenities inside. It's probably better for sport events than concerts to. The acoustic was not great when I have been here to listen music.

Zeq Zaq: Amazing place to watch Basketball 🏀 Matches and lce hockey Tournament.Of course you can attended Concerts and Partys of Stars from all the world

FEED FURAIJI: The organization is one of the best i was today at blackpink concert and i was super happy about it plus the Arena is really big sounds are awesome so nothing negative to say

JK Berger: It was my 1st experience watching a live Concert and it was the A-HA Live concert in Berlin and it was really an amazing experience , MBA super Nice 👌🏼

Evi Napetschnig: Great location for concerts.. easy to find your place and a good concert experience from first to last row .. a bunch of nice restaurants are close by

Erika Rosen: Huuuge arena for big crowds, but they still managed to get everyone through the security check and into the arena quite quickly. Inside it was impossible to buy food or drinks unless you were prepared to queue for a really long time. We didn’t even bother to queue up. The line to the ladies room was super long to, but if you head all the way to the ‘left’ on the upper floor you will eventually find another ladies bathroom with no queue at all. Unfortunately the sound quality wasn’t the best during the concert (BSB), but I’m not sure how much that is due to the arena layout and how much that was due to the sound technicians. When they let everyone out after the concert our group got lost and ended up in the closed off premium part of the arena and had to be guided back to where we handed in our coats. Tip: make sure to exit the concert hall through the same entrance you got in through. All in all a nice experience, but not really a concert venue I feel a need to come back to.

Mateusz: A very cozy and comfortable arena. The concert of Harry Styles was brilliant, the sound system was of very good quality - no echo / reverberation. I highly recommend this place, I felt very safe there. Air conditioning also at a high level. Security also was perfect.

Bella Fuerst: Watched Basketball. Great game :) Alba Berlin vs Maccabi TelAviv. Happy Channukah and Merry Christmas!

Berlins größte Silvesterparty am Alexanderplatz: what do users think?

Robert Krüger: As others have said, an absolute disaster. Subterranean sound quality, 30 minutes of waiting for a drink and a lot of what was announced just didn't exist. At midnight we stood in the courtyard without anything to toast and looked at an empty sky.

Edy: Worst New Year's Eve party ever. Sound of the boxes are not matched. Bad DJs who don't create atmosphere and can't even manage simple transitions. Finger food and snacks are ok but selection could have been better. Garbage was not properly cleared away. But the worst thing of all was that there were no fireworks on New Year's Day!!! The visitors stood in the courtyard under an empty sky. According to the website, fireworks should be set off here.

Maximilian Schoessler: No fireworks, although this was widely advertised on the website. The organizers were not even able to organize ONE person to stand in front of the countdown and count down so that everyone can start the new year in the same way and not everyone shouts a different number through the air. For all young people: keep your hands off the tickets, it's not worth it at all. Music was also a disaster and with the sound quality you couldn't even tell which song was being played. As soon as you saw other young people, you saw the disappointment on their faces. Prices for drinks also completely overpriced. The only thing that was acceptable was the foosball table, so we could last at least until the new year. go somewhere else

Sina D: Just rip off! Worst party I've ever been to & spent a ton of money on it. No fireworks, long queues, especially at the "VIP" bars, bad music and boxes, the pizza was served on used plates, just underground! All guests should be paid back their money. Can recommend this party to 0.0%, absolute cheek!

Martin Förster: Complete disappointment, especially considering the price of the VIP tickets, the whole organization of the "party" was just disproportionate. While we found all the staff at both the bars and the cloakroom to be friendly, they were completely overwhelmed, which can again be attributed to the organization. The line at the VIP bars was incredibly long, making it almost impossible to get a drink at midnight. In addition, there were no fireworks, which only increased the disappointment. So we spent 12:00 a.m. without drinks and fireworks, which is a real shame for "Berlin's biggest New Year's Eve party". A small note here is that the music was just as bad as the rest of the party, which can be explained primarily by the incredibly poor sound quality from the speakers. All in all a complete letdown from which both the guests and probably the staff had to suffer.

Constanze Schmiedel: Probably the worst party at Alexanderplatz! It was a cheek what the guests were expected to do in terms of music, food and organization. A never-ending queue at the VIP bars, some of the bar staff were either drunk or on drugs. The quality of the food was terrible (the salad had probably been at the buffet since the morning), the actual pasta salad was olives. The music was abysmal, both in terms of track selection and sound quality. And even the staff said the event was a disaster. Here the money was simply pulled out of people's pockets. Since I praise myself but a village disco. Not to mention the lack of fireworks. An absolute disgrace for Berlin.

Sophie Weicken: I can only agree with the latest reviews - a bottomless cheek and simply fraudulent moves to generate as much profit as possible. An absolute no-go, sitting alone in the basement would have made more sense, then you would have at least saved the money and the hassle!!! (For criticism see 1-star reviews from 01.01.2023)

Louis Fuhrmann: Dear organizers, The party did not match the offers on the website in any respect. In addition to the fireworks, the karaoke option and other things were missing. Overall, the staff seemed overwhelmed and worked to Partly under the influence of drugs. The waiting time, especially at the VIP bars, was longer than at the conventional bars. All common areas were littered and the food on the edge of edibility. The musical accompaniment is certainly a matter of taste, but lacked a genre distinction (contrary to the announcement) on the contrary, the same songs everywhere. Not to mention the sound of the premises. I spent the entire evening in queues and under an empty sky with bad food & music. I've seen children's birthday parties that were better organized. Kind regards L.F.

M. W.: If there was a possibility to award MINUS 5 stars, this "event" would have scored full marks! It was bad as hell! Shameful for Berlin. 105 euros spent on: min. 30 min waiting time at the "VIP" bars (beverage selection minimal and only available as open drinks, which in turn was not an issue at the "normal" bars to get drinks in bottles) Terribly bad music (in almost all rooms the same genre and music selection that did not correspond to the time, sound deafening) The rooms were totally cold and not decorated in any way (you had the impression that you were on a class trip to the disco in the hall, tables and chairs were carelessly bare in the corners) Overwhelmed or shall we say missing staff and service. Leftovers were everywhere. The offered "salads" or whatever the greens in the stacked cups was inedible. Pasta salad that didn't consist of pasta, but of antipasti. Frozen Pizza! No countdown, no fireworks, no patio heaters! Just awful! You can't put it into words! NEVER AGAIN and it is not recommended for everyone! Rip off at the highest level!

Lyn ni: In my whole life I have never "partyed" so badly, we would have had more fun in any village pub. The only people who really had fun were probably the so-called DJS and the completely overwhelmed bar staff, which was probably due to the influence of alcohol or other substances. The organizer would have to be held accountable and some of the paid tickets would have to be refunded...... if you calculate around 4 euros per burnt pizza slice, it would still be around 80 euros......thank you for nothing.... Very unfortunate for Berlin LG Katrin

The Pearl: what do users think?

P N: Most clubs in Berlin get low reviews but after meeting the doormen at Monkey Bar Vs the attitude you get here, this place deserves it's low rating. It's quite obvious that the guy with the blazer at the front (who may be management as he was giving it the big :)) doesn't understand customer service. It's 'yes or no' to him. Been to enough clubs around the world to know the difference. We were recommended here so it may be great inside but I wouldn't figure that by the doormen and management. When we got to the door at 0300am, we had to make a decision if we were willing to commit €75 for entry for 5 people around 3 hours of clubbing before we pay another €70/round in there! This confirmed our reason not to.Respect: they expect it and so do we. We still partied! Go to Bricks. We were recommended there by many.

Michael Slaughterfork: Nice club! No idea what the people mean with „racist“. I have seen people from all nations in that club. However, this is no Sisyphos, KitKat or Berghain, where you can come in (well actually have to come in) bathrobes, fetish or half naked.

Beatrice Gurtun: The worst club i ever been, never recommend it. Spent a fortune. And been treated awful. We booked a VIP table for 2 people worth 1000$ and only one person got in, and the second person never entered . The whole night was ruined. No one even tried to help. Very arrogant waiters and bartenders👎🏻 I asked for the manager, they all avoided any help. We still got big bottles of vodka and in the end it got stolen . A full large bottle. And they lied that cameras dont work. I will never come back to this club, awful

Maja Sonko: Not any better than most of the clubs in Berlin, Bouncers are racist and they decide who to let in, when they want. Pure racist and failed state- Berlin.

Adam Fakhouri: Came here to party and have fun with a reservation for a bachelor party. Even thou everything was confirmed we were rejected at the door. I couldn’t get a worse customer experience . Never again. Answer to owner 220519: No, you’re just reaching for something. We were dressed nice, none of us had to much alcohol (we hadn’t even started drinking) and had a quiet and good talk with the staff. Better yet there was no one else then us in line, so it’s kinda hard to disturb the “guests”. Makes me wonder with your answer maybe the problem is that we did not have the ethnicity you desired. Good luck, have fun! Matrix was much better anyway 😀✌🏻
Response: Hey Adam, even with a table reservation a guaranteed entry cannot be given. We are always communicating that during the reservation process. Maybe you were not dressed as required? Or the alcohol level was already too high? It may have also been about the behavior towards our staff at the doof or the other waiting guests in line. Since the office team is not there at night we're not able to analyze what the refuse was about, but these are the only possible reasons. Best regards, The Pearl Berlin

John Robert Gorman: I would like to start by saying that I have never left a review before, let alone a negative one. So that fact that I have done in this case should speak volumes to those who would care to read it. We chose this establishment out of convenience more than anything. We had been to Germany before but this was the first time staying in Hotel Bristol Berlin. As many of you probably know, this hotel is on the same street as the pearl so it appeared to be the best choice. We got to the door at around half past 12 as we did not want to be to early or to late. As the prime time is supposedly 1am we had assumed that this time would be somewhat quieter. In this respect we were correct, there very few people waiting. Despite this, the security, who did not seem to be doing all that much at the time, took so long to attend us that we managed a rather lengthy conversation with those in the line in front of us. These guests were then shown into the door after quite a substantial time period. We were not, we were simply told “no entry” and they then proceeded to pretend that they did not speak English. Now I understand that occasionally, ratios do need to be maintained for everyone’s enjoyment. However, the guests that entered before us was group of four female guests. We were only two male guests and there was no one else waiting. We always attend an establishment earlier than needed for just this reason so I can only asume that we did not match the standard of guest required to enter this particular club. Perhaps this was the case, I do not know as I was not given any information on request. So I put some information here about us and our appearance last night and you can judge for yourselves. We were two British males, one just under 5ft’9 and the other is about 6ft. I was wearing a dark red button up shirt, formal jeans and a pair of Church’s Oxfords. All in all I think my outfit that night was at a slightly higher value than the marque that we were gathered under. If this was not suitable attire then I shall make sure to arrive on my next visit within one of the suites that I attend meetings in! Secondly, we were also not in anyway inebriated as we had driven to the city before hand. In fact, neither of us had drunk anything of an alcoholic nature for quite some time. Neither of us were rude to the staff or unbecoming in any way. I would not consider myself or my colleague to be undesirable. I am a career driven professional, employed as a Client Management Consultant with a top southwest Executive Search company. As you can imagine, I had a large amount of money to spend last night and due to the security staff, none of it was spent within this club. I understand how business works better than most and typically, successful ones do not turn away potentially high value clientele. I have travelled extensively and been to far more exclusive establishments in London and across the world. This is the first time that I have been refused entry into any building, let alone a club. I am not particularly irritated by this as I have been quite lucky in this respect until now. What annoys me is the lack of constructive feed back I was given. The club was not in full swing, so population was not an issue. We were also very sober, meaning by process of elimination, we were either rude or dressed poorly. I would hope that this was not the case but if it was, I would have liked to have been informed so that this could be rectified accordingly. It was very clear that this was never going to be the case. The Security had clearly made his decision and I don’t think this would have changed for any reason. Never have I dealt with someone as callous or as rude as the staff member in this particular incident. I wish the Pearl all of the best for the future but I would say your staff, wether contracted or full time, leave a lot to be desired. I would suggest either a retrain or perhaps a change of supplier if they are not your staff. I would be happy to be in touch with your team with regards having a constructive conversation. Regards, John

Talal Saleem: Worst experience ever. Waited 30 minutes in the queue and the bouncer said no because we were not white.Club policy toward colour individuals is overwhelmingly racist. Not recommended

kouranovCh kouranovCh: so rude and racists , they dont even let us in because we are not german , thats what the bouncer at the door told us , im gonna process the club , all of my five lawyers gonna make that happen for sure

SylviaCharlene Karanja: Was there last night, great music indeed, mix of everything and many guyz always ready to dance. However the big bartender on the first counter near the entrance is plain blank racist..my first ever discriminative experience. He kept ignoring to take my order acting like he had not seen me... Nearly 15 minutes until i ordered a drink through a friend....a gin n tonic that cost 9 F king Euros !!!!!!! ... Not going back there any time soon.

Ramash As: I don’t understand the negative reviews. We went there for first time and everything went well. The bouncers were really friendly and drinks were good specially (vodka-cranberries) , music was really good too the only reason i am not rating 5 stars is because at some point there were just tooooo many people inside.

Polina (Intrafinder): Excellent concert location, there is a dance floor balcony and two balconies above. And everywhere it was well seen and heard. The only problem is ventilation. It was too hot on the dance floor.

Max Tovstyi: I have been here at a jazz performance by Sun Ra Arkestra. It was a great evening. The hall is cosy, good sound, everything was fine

Ewerton P.: Slowest bar service in history.Place is really nice for sure but could invest on a good air conditioner for the summer. Really hard to breath when tha house is full and it's more than 30º outside.

Bo Az (Borderless Bo): Really nice place with a kind crew and a great location for concerts

Alba Silvente Fuentes: Really nice venue for small-medium conferences, with a food truck and a cafe with good cold and hot drinks 👌

Diana Viartola: I loved this venue! We went to see Beranger in concert!

a r: Cracking venue, decent beer selection and loved the outside section. Really interesting layout in the main hall with seating on the side

Hugo Nogueira: Very inefficient bars. Long queues for everything. In warm weather it feels like 50 degrees inside. Those were the times where paying expensive tickets and having zero comfort was ok. Good acoustic and spaces for concerts though.

Skullosaurus: Cool venue and the bar has good options though it's a little pricy but typical for concert hall. We visited during Emergenza and the staff worked really well to ensure the people had a good time, they helped start a mosh pit. There's a nice spot away from where the bands play and amother outside spot that is tucked away and quiet. It's not far from a bus station and there's a quaint little grassy area infront to sit on during the summer. It was really nice there but at night during weekends the area is rowdy, lots of broken glass and I don't recommend walking around alone.

Gunther Frankenberg: Was there for the Japanmarkt. Entrance looked nice and overall liked the idea. Unfortunately, space was limited and long lines at the food stalls made me leave a bit early

Fred: Our favorite place for exhibition

Wade Chang: Good people flow with nice atmosphere

Marta Kostka: Nice

Thế Hoàng Nguyễn: It's ok here 👌🏼

Marek Ziarkiewicz: Ok

Melanie Petra: Nice experience

Doreen Stahlbaum: I think it's a great pity that you can't sign parking spaces or use a shuttle bus. We drove there for an hour, looked for a parking space for an hour and finally went home without going to the fair 😔. It's always the same problem and if you dial the phone number stored on the internet, a secretary picks up who, as always, cannot help. Too bad for the exhibitors, who pay a lot of money for it and want to win new customers.

Eva: I went to the 'Seek' Berlin fair. I would say it was really well organized! Very beautiful and elegant display. Reception girls very kind and helpful. Reasonably clean toilet. Very well organized refreshment points, honest prices and good and genuine food. Bench with fabulous DJs and really top music. Economic and functional cloakroom service. Excellent shuttle service. Very discreet and well organized security. Well done

Cristina Bolzicco: Interesting fair, with many pavilions.

Heiko Heiß: Good fair to get diverse impressions of the world of fashion and trends. the check-in worked smoothly. The waiting time in the cloakroom was just about. I find the eye of the needle at the exit of the fair strange and no longer quite up to date.

WECC - West Haven Event & Convention Center: what do users think?

Kai Opitz: Great event location. The staff was super friendly and professional. The event location has a big hall that has all tech possibilities for company events. You can set up cameras and a mix table and everything up here. Big silver screen exists. Though, the markings and signs on the Hafen area are not pointing to where the location actually is. That could be a bit improved. My cab driver was headless due to it.

Christoph Goeller: Beautiful conference venue with an industrial atmosphere, located in a former warehouse in Berlin's largest freight port. The old brick building has plenty of space for events that want a large stage or expo set-up, the event I attended combined both and it still didn't feel too crowded.

Elod Baricz: Nice place. Good mixture of modern and industrial style in an operating harbour. Very special.

Steve Greenfield: Excellent venue for upscale gatherings and events. The venue can easily be reconfigured for your desired event style and can accommodate several hundred guests.

Thomas Richter: We produced a Live Conference for the German Labor Minister from this venue. Great facilities, large rooms & backstage places.

Nizar Basal: Very nice and modern events place, 5 stars services
Response: Thxs a lot!

Deborah Sherry: Excellent events centre. Great facilities, food and setting. Very well run.

Victor Acosta: Be there for FbStart event. It combines the old trendy Berliner look on the outside and the modern, tech inside.

Anthony Brew: Nice compact venue with food rooms for private meetings

Romanas Savickas: Great place !

Jan Wassenich: The rooms were stylish and well equipped. Breakfast had very good food and juices, coffee was unfortunately not particularly good. Location of the hotel really depends on where you want to go, if you're going to the city-center more frequently, it's a bit far out. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back.
Response: Thank you very much for staying with us. Berlin has three City Centres: Alexander Platz, Potsdamer Platz and Zoo. We are located in the City West only eight minutes by S-Bahn from the Museum Island in the heart of the Golden Twenties. What a pity that our coffee was not upon your liking as we only use very high quality products. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay and we would love to welcome you back very soon. Kind Regards, Personal Assistant to General Manager Waldorf Astoria Berlin

Anonym: The WA Berlin is definitely one of the best Waldorf Astoria Hotels. The staff is very attentive and is really going the extra mile for their guests. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the view over the city is stunning. The hotel has a prime location in walking distance to public transport and several shops and restaurants. The staff was super helpful in finding our way. The breakfast was amazing, with a mixture of buffet and a la carte options. We had a really great stay at the Waldorf and will definitely come back!
Response: What a wonderful promise! Thank you so much for your great review! We are already looking forward to welcoming you back to your home away from home. Kind Regards, Personal Assistant to General Manager Waldorf Astoria Berlin

Chukwuemeka Duaka: Way back in the 80's as a kid, I first saw Waldorf Astoria in "Coming to America". I was marveled at the magnificent edifice, the architectural wonder of this luxurious giant of a hotel. I always dreamed to visit The Waldorf Astoria....especially the very one I saw in Coming to America. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to live that dream. Never been to the US. Here I am in Berlin, Germany. Can you imagine how I felt seeing The Waldorf Astoria here? Same architectural design, the beauty, the luxury, the magnificence of this edifice, the customer service is beyond just excellent. In here, I half-lived a life long dream being in The Waldorf Astoria (cos one of my biggest dreams is to see the one in the US). But I tell you, dreams come true here in Waldorf Astoria, Berlin. I had one of my loveliest memories here. The ambience is so out of this world. Here, class meets luxury, excellence meets service. The Waldorf Astoria is a hospitality perfection achieved through over 70 years of getting it right! Rooms: Heavenly. A paradise locked away in the comfort of a suite. Nearby activities: Strategically located in the heart of Berlin. A major hub with great view of the ever bustling parts of beautiful Berlin. Safety: Adequate and very functional security and safety measures put in place. Of all the hotels I have ever been to, I felt at peace and safest here. Walkability: The Waldorf Astoria is a massive architectural wonder. Some people might find navigating the inside of the hotel by foot a bit tiring but it was easy for me. I was so passionate about seeing all of it as I walked around to see every bit of the hotel. Food & drinks: Wide range of choice beverages. Pretty tasty intercontinental and local cuisines here. Noteworthy details: The peace and quiet here. The ambience. The luxury. The elegance.....it's all so breathtaking so much so that I am short of words to describe it.
Response: We are so happy to learn that we spread memories all over the world! Thank you very much for taking the time to report your recent stay at our beautiful property and its location. We are very pleased to read that you have enjoyed your stay so much! We would love to welcome you back in a not too distant future. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Kind Regards, Personal Assistant to General Manager Waldorf Astoria Berlin

sut -sej: The best hotel I had the pleasure of sleeping in. Advantages: - large, luxurious and clean rooms - panoramic windows with a breathtaking view on Berlin - delicious and varied breakfasts - very helpful staff with individual approach - very comfortable beds - excellent location To sum up, the hotel is worth any price and guarantees the highest quality guest service. Thank you for an unforgettable stay! Best Regards, Damian S.
Response: We love to start a Monday morning with such a beautiful appreciation. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you again very soon.

Brooke Chambers: I enjoyed my six days at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin. Amazing way to kick off my first international trip since the pandemic. Superior service, staff, and in-room dining was brilliant. The extra touch of a fruit platter at my arrival was a nice touch! Keep up the amazing work.
Response: Thank you very much for the magnificent five stars. We ware delighted to read your wonderful comments regarding your recent stay. Kind regards from your home away from home in Berlin, Personal Assistant to General Manager Waldorf Astoria Berlin

An Tran: We had a very pleasant stay here at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin. Everyone was very nice and helpful, especially the staff at the breakfast restaurant. Rasmus was the person we interacted the most and the service was awesome! It can’t get better than that! Thank you so much for everything!
Response: Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year 2023. Thank you very much for your kind words and for highlighting Rasmus. We are very happy to have him in our team. We are already awaiting you back in your home away rom home in Berlin Kind Regards, Personal Assistant to General Manager Waldorf Astoria Berlin

Angelo Edades: During my first few stays, I had MAJOR issues with staff who were just rude and unprofessional. Over the past few years during stays that were either last minute or booked in advance - it has been perfect. Rooms are always nice, both standard and upgraded corner rooms and location is perfect. The area has a lot more personality than Mitte. Concierge can be slow if you need their help at check out from your room. Breakfast is also great. There’s non-egg options for those who don’t like too much egg like myself. The service overall is understated but there when you need it. Definitely a 5 star hotel who isn’t afraid of fixing this mistakes and improving themselves. I would stay here again even if it’s just for the comfortable rooms and beds.
Response: We would like to thank you for your loyalty, Mr. Edades. It is an especial pleasure for us to read that you slept so comfortable on our Waldorf Astoria Signature matrass! The team of the Waldorf Astoria Berlin is looking forward to welcome you back and wishes you a joyous and healthy New Year 2023! Kind Regards, Personal Assistant to General Manager Waldorf Astoria Berlin

Yizhong Gu: The best hotel I have ever stayed. Everyone was so nice and helpful and caring. The room (junior suite) was absolutely spotless and very roomy. The location is also so close to the train station. This is a 10 out of 10 hotel!
Response: Dear Mr.Gu We are truly heartened to receive your generous review of your stay at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin. Thank you for letting us know how much you enjoyed it, we are especially pleased that you felt well-looked after. We look forward to having you with us again in the near future. Kind regards, PA to GM

Monica Phillips: Gregor and his team made sure, that our stay was phenomenal. The hotel is super clean, staff is very attentive, every last detail is spot on. Loved our (upgraded) room with view of the Emperor Wilhelm Memorial Church, the breakfast service, the pool and spa area, and felt right at home every time we came back from our ventures in the city. The hotel is centrally located and easy to reach with S & U Bahn (train), and we will certainly be back! Thank you for making our anniversary special!

Polina Surina: Was at Christas Eve. What I like about hotel -restaurant and bar. Service, people super. -bellboy great -reception polite -room spacious What I don’t like: - view from the room. For that price on Christmas was very 😔( hotel was not overbooked) -toilet doesn’t work properly - shower doesn’t work - no robes in the room -furniture is sad( - waiting time for the luggage was 45 min( to bring from the room, found out the reception simply forgot)
