Fenriz Gym: what do users think?

LW1: I am a BJJ white belt from Australia who dropped in for a roll while in Berlin for a short time. Ended up going to some night classes (back to back). Staff were easy to talk to and welcoming. I felt very safe and comfortable. Coaches were easy to understand and gave great advice. Gym is clean and change rooms are good! Classes were in English and rolls were solid! 🤙🏼My classes were with Peter and Felipe and I was welcomed to the club by Robert and Michelle (excellent service!). Thanks for the warm welcome and happy rolling 🙌

Cameron McLean: Needed a trainer for my 3-week trip to Berlin to keep up my motivation as a near total beginner. Felipe provided me with outstanding personalised instruction over 8 or 9 sessions, which he linked to group classes. This was a huge learning step for me - cannot recommend Felipe highly enough.

Camila Wahrendorff: The gym is very well organized, the teachers are great and they all speak English. If it only had a Fan so we don’t suffer too much in summer it would be perfect!

Sangram Gupta: Good place for everything, MuayThai, Boxing, Wrestling, JuiJitsu and MMA. Nice staff and coaches accompanied with usually good crowd. Hygienic gym. Sometimes the owner is rude specially on the slippers if you forget, but he is so to everyone. People feel bad about it but well atleast he is not partial there.

Andrew Howden: There is a Muay Thai gym about 100m from my house. I do not go there — Instead, I cycle to Fenriz! It is near the best gym I tried — maybe on a median, the best.

BJJ DOJO Berlin: what do users think?

Niels ten Oever: Very nice gym with dedicated, technical, and kind trainers. Trained here for about a month while in Berlin, welcomed by a dedicated group of all levels and genders. A lot of fun to train, drill, spar, and chat. Yoga sessions on the weekend are very nice plus, and the open mat on Saturday is amazing. As well as the ability to train mornings and evenings.

christian hänchen: I been to quite a few BJJ dojos and this stand out by far. Not only is the community and atmosphere extremely pleasant and inclusive. But also Rodrigo (owner and head coach) is amazing in the way the teaches - precise, patient and approachable!

Sebastian Cushing: As a beginner it has been a great atmosphere. The dojo has many options that provide flexibility to different schedules. Rodrigo is a patient and detail oriented instructor who is personable and ready to answer any questions. The dojo is clean, well organized and very welcoming.

Serbay Arslanhan: I joined the gym recently. Everyone has been very nice and offered help whenever I needed / asked for it. For me, having options to join morning or evening classes was also very helpful for fitting the classes into my schedule.

Rodrigo Catao: Great place for starters in BJJ. Rodrigo is a great coach and the Dojo has a great infra structure. Students from all levels train here in great friendly environment.

Eva Lund: This is an awesome dojo! It is beginner friendly and adapts to the different needs of the students: hobby-training, competition preparation, etc.; the classes are mostly taught in english (with a mix of german and portuguese ;-)).

Markus Twele: Great place! Amazing coaches and very welcoming atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Valerio Massucci: A highly skilled and dedicated Professor as Rodrigo and the most welcoming team sets the perfect environment for students both at beginner and advanced level whether adults or kids. The brand new location has quite a spacious tatami and as far as lessons there is plenty of choice between morning and evening classes every day of the week and open mats during the weekend. Last but not least very high hygiene standards are kept throughout the gym, a very important factor considering the inherent dynamics of this martial art. All in all a great atmosphere at the Dojo and would recommend anyone to pay a visit.

Q L: An awesome academy of jiujitsu. It is located at a convenient location in Kreuzberg. The approach of the teaching is focused on movements and heuristic principles. Will train here when I visit Berlin again!

Mewis Dojo martial arts school: what do users think?

André Mewis: We BELIEVE in earning your trust in a community, where EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Zoro Zero: Not even brought the children to the rehearsal traning, they make their prices according to ideas, although I wanted to know the fixed prices and what kind of contracts there are, unsympathetic

Till Müller: The training corresponds 100% to my expectations of a modern and yet traditional martial arts school. The children are introduced to the sport physically and mentally and are also taught the basic values of karate. Thanks to André and the team.

Romuald Lubert: My son has been in the Mewis Dojo martial arts school for 4 years. He has become more confident and aware. His attention and discipline have increased. The family atmosphere is ideal and my son really enjoys training with the many children and the trainers. It is the optimal type of sport for children who have a lot of energy. I can only recommend this school.

Prinzess Prinz: A great martial arts school. We have tested many schools and all of them outperform. A very nice, competent team. The children have a lot of fun in the class, learn a lot and the self-confidence of my little ones was suddenly increased. Your teacher told me, "... as if you had flipped a switch." She is now happy to work on the lessons and the grades have been greatly improved. Many thanks to everyone!

Spitfire Academy Berlin GmbH: what do users think?

Andrew Barnes: Great gym with a really nice, multicultural group of athletes/hobbyists and a great atmosphere overall. Instructors are friendly and approachable & make beginners feel welcome. Class taught in a mix of German & English but everyone is accommodated. Would definitely recommend.

Baran Calisci: Nice gym and strong fighters. Friendly staff and a lot of courses. High humidity in the gym because many ppl sweat in small area but nothing to bad. Just need to get used to it.

Emiliano il serpe: Best gym in Berlin! Been training here for almost 4 years and never regretted once ;)

Sergio De Lima: If you’re seeking either health improvement, learn how to defend yourself or even have a better social life that’s the exact place to be, very professional and friendly staff with a bunch of options for you or your family to learn martial arts in any area with great professional martial artists, the gym is complete with everything that you need and absolutely nice and clean !

Quang Ong: Great nogi class. Very good, friendly and knowledge coach and staff, high level training partners.

M N: Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueBelow average gym with hygiene issues and terrible management. Despite their copy paste review response to "contact them directly" multiple attmepts to do so were ignored.

amr wahman: This place is very wonderful, I advise all friends to participate in this beautiful edifice and have technical expertise and the work of champions running in MMA tournaments around the world

Moritz Wessendorff: The best workout. Also for beginners. Very nice atmosphere. Daryl takes a lot of time for each student. Learning curve enormous. Fitness curve too!

Kimura Karate School Berlin Charlottenburg: what do users think?

Michael Lederer: All three of our children have attended this school for years. We cannot recommend it highly enough. They teach the children karate, but more than that, a wonderful combination of discipline, respect for self and others, kindness. It feels like a family. Our oldest son, 12, just attended the one week karate summer camp. He had so much fun, and we are so grateful he had that chance. Five stars!

Bobbypsycho: I have trained in this school with the head coach for about 15 years and highly recommend him and this karate school. The training is demanding and the effectiveness and efficiency of the techniques are always in the foreground. I experienced the headmaster as a motivated, patient, experienced and technically very adept trainer. If you are interested in learning karate seriously, you should definitely try it out here. It should be remembered that it is a very complex sport and martial art that needs to be learned with a lot of patience and care. So bring a lot of good will, motivation and perseverance!

Josephine: I can fully recommend the karate school and advise everyone to stop by. Use the trial training session to let yourself be inspired by a very informative and fun training session!

Sasuke Uchiha: Live there 👌 can recommend the karate school

Tobias Liczbinski: The karate school is good

Udo Woidacki: Nice dojo, top instructors

Go Og: A good karate school 👍

Hardstyle Martial Arts e.V. | Kampfsport, Selbstverteidigung, Kickboxen: what do users think?

Kev Santa: If you are looking for a professional martial arts course in Berlin, you will find the ideal place to go with Hardstyle Martial Arts. An optimal mix of theory and practice, combined with lots of fun. Here you sweat and work hard, but always with regard to your personal skills, which are expanded with every training session. Absolutely great! My advice to all interested parties is: Join the family!

Peggy Richter: Super great sweaty training. If you want to learn something, this is the place for you. Experiences are conveyed and it is a friendly atmosphere where children, teenagers and adults can feel comfortable.

mareile morawietz: Top training for kids: the right mix of games, fun and training content. The trainer responds well to the different technical levels and characters of the children.

Marc R.: Perfect training for everyone from 6 years! Great trainer, explains clearly and calmly, yet decisively. Best combo for martial arts training!

Ringside Gym - Muay Thai / MMA / BJJ / BOXEN / ESKRIMA: what do users think?

Yushu Soon: The gym offers a friendly and motivating training atmosphere - you can feel how the trainers do their best to give attention to each person in the class. Great timetable and good value too.

Tanja Keller: Great Gym! I had the chance to train there for 3 weeks while I was in Berlin and had such a great time. Coaches and teammate were brilliant!

Pat Mc Kenna: Great gym! Nice mix of classes at different times. The staff are open to feedback and always looking to improve the place. Would recommend.

Elijaih Blue: Great gym that is easy to find near Ostkreuz. The trainings are very good and majority of trainers teach in German or English so there is no problem for visitors to participate in the classes.

paolo abriola: Every time I’m in Berlin I go train at Ring side gym. People are really nice and the instructors are super prepared. If you are in Berlin don’t miss the chance to train with the best !

Augustine St. Louis: Wonderful place to train. Got great trainers and also nice people(with skills) .

Fang Han: My son and I are both registed by the BJJ training of Ringside. Both BJJ trainers Elijaih and Gabriel are amazing teachers, they are very patient and encouraging, they can explain the movements very clearly and always give effort of the personal empowerment of each student.

EBP: If the Coaches of the Gym start rating their own gym and calling it good and clean, you already know what´s wrong.

Vojtěch Jasný: Looks like a really nice place if you are into martial arts. I recommend the Kettlebell Club Berlin which has trainings in the same space.

Anne Becker: Go there for a free trial and see if you like it. They offer different "classes" like boxing, thai boxing, mma and open gym.

oren meiner: Best martial arts school in Germany! Super nice rooms, well aired and sparkling clean, well lit and stylish design. But the best of all is the master and the teachers, from children to seniors, they teach with precision and mindfulness, with the most important factor - having fun while training. Actually, 10 stars belong here. Am thrilled!

Nikolaus Roettger: Full marks from me. Top school with a very good and very nice team of coaches. Thanks to you, I rediscovered Taekwondo two years ago after a long break.

Physiotherapie Mey: This Corona story made everything around it sad, but Franzi and David are doing great, especially with my nervous son. Have handled him with patience, thank you

Bahram Elham: Cool

Scruffy Rodriguez: Great gym, friendly to newcomers and with down to earth people

Paris Kontopyrgos: bad me no like

Ashkan Rezaei: Money oriented , unfriendly and partly racist crowd and bad train This gym has only one positive point, namely trainer Robert, who is friendly and professional. You can forget other trainers. There are much better providers in Berlin

A Stolze: cutthroat! Toggle contracts and dispassionate trainers. There are 1000 better gyms in Berlin Fenriz in Kreuzberg or Spitfire in Schöneberg.

Qaiser Abbasi: Trainees and trainers are all respectful and really fun to train there!

Shihonkin Dojo e.V.: what do users think?

Filippos Kalamidas: Beginner or advanced, if you are looking for kick boxing, this is the place. The trainers are always eager to help and share their knowledge and the people attending are very friendly and respectful. Great experience altogether!

Bar Gonen: Shihonkin Dojo is a wonderful place for beginners and experts as well. The classes are very nice and accessible. Also good for learning self defense. I recommend everyone to come and join!

Ph ma: I just love this dojo! The training is fun, but at the same time demanding and you learn really effective techniques. But the biggest plus is probably the master Dominik, who supports each student individually and takes time for everyone. He is very inspirational to me! I am incredibly happy to have chosen this martial arts school, everyone is warmly welcomed here and I enjoy every training session. The other offers such as kickboxing are also highly recommended and a good addition. Thanks Dominic! :)

Nathalie Weiden: Very good training also (but not only!) For children. Dominik is a committed master who communicates his enthusiasm for martial arts through his own example. Our children love to go to training and are already making good progress!

J. Moscardini: Great dojo in which both children train. The Sensei really responds to everyone according to their individual needs and is always an attentive contact person. The prices are more than fair. In lockdown he made every effort to motivate everyone and created professional and very high-quality online offers. Without this mental coaching we would have survived the time worse. Thanks for that!!! The dojo is now an integral part of our lives.
