Fenriz Gym: what do users think?

LW1: I am a BJJ white belt from Australia who dropped in for a roll while in Berlin for a short time. Ended up going to some night classes (back to back). Staff were easy to talk to and welcoming. I felt very safe and comfortable. Coaches were easy to understand and gave great advice. Gym is clean and change rooms are good! Classes were in English and rolls were solid! 🤙🏼My classes were with Peter and Felipe and I was welcomed to the club by Robert and Michelle (excellent service!). Thanks for the warm welcome and happy rolling 🙌

Cameron McLean: Needed a trainer for my 3-week trip to Berlin to keep up my motivation as a near total beginner. Felipe provided me with outstanding personalised instruction over 8 or 9 sessions, which he linked to group classes. This was a huge learning step for me - cannot recommend Felipe highly enough.

Camila Wahrendorff: The gym is very well organized, the teachers are great and they all speak English. If it only had a Fan so we don’t suffer too much in summer it would be perfect!

Sangram Gupta: Good place for everything, MuayThai, Boxing, Wrestling, JuiJitsu and MMA. Nice staff and coaches accompanied with usually good crowd. Hygienic gym. Sometimes the owner is rude specially on the slippers if you forget, but he is so to everyone. People feel bad about it but well atleast he is not partial there.

Andrew Howden: There is a Muay Thai gym about 100m from my house. I do not go there — Instead, I cycle to Fenriz! It is near the best gym I tried — maybe on a median, the best.

Spitfire Academy Berlin GmbH: what do users think?

Andrew Barnes: Great gym with a really nice, multicultural group of athletes/hobbyists and a great atmosphere overall. Instructors are friendly and approachable & make beginners feel welcome. Class taught in a mix of German & English but everyone is accommodated. Would definitely recommend.

Baran Calisci: Nice gym and strong fighters. Friendly staff and a lot of courses. High humidity in the gym because many ppl sweat in small area but nothing to bad. Just need to get used to it.

Emiliano il serpe: Best gym in Berlin! Been training here for almost 4 years and never regretted once ;)

Sergio De Lima: If you’re seeking either health improvement, learn how to defend yourself or even have a better social life that’s the exact place to be, very professional and friendly staff with a bunch of options for you or your family to learn martial arts in any area with great professional martial artists, the gym is complete with everything that you need and absolutely nice and clean !

Quang Ong: Great nogi class. Very good, friendly and knowledge coach and staff, high level training partners.

M N: Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueBelow average gym with hygiene issues and terrible management. Despite their copy paste review response to "contact them directly" multiple attmepts to do so were ignored.

amr wahman: This place is very wonderful, I advise all friends to participate in this beautiful edifice and have technical expertise and the work of champions running in MMA tournaments around the world

Ringside Gym - Muay Thai / MMA / BJJ / BOXEN / ESKRIMA: what do users think?

Yushu Soon: The gym offers a friendly and motivating training atmosphere - you can feel how the trainers do their best to give attention to each person in the class. Great timetable and good value too.

Tanja Keller: Great Gym! I had the chance to train there for 3 weeks while I was in Berlin and had such a great time. Coaches and teammate were brilliant!

Pat Mc Kenna: Great gym! Nice mix of classes at different times. The staff are open to feedback and always looking to improve the place. Would recommend.

Elijaih Blue: Great gym that is easy to find near Ostkreuz. The trainings are very good and majority of trainers teach in German or English so there is no problem for visitors to participate in the classes.

paolo abriola: Every time I’m in Berlin I go train at Ring side gym. People are really nice and the instructors are super prepared. If you are in Berlin don’t miss the chance to train with the best !

Augustine St. Louis: Wonderful place to train. Got great trainers and also nice people(with skills) .

Fang Han: My son and I are both registed by the BJJ training of Ringside. Both BJJ trainers Elijaih and Gabriel are amazing teachers, they are very patient and encouraging, they can explain the movements very clearly and always give effort of the personal empowerment of each student.

EBP: If the Coaches of the Gym start rating their own gym and calling it good and clean, you already know what´s wrong.

Vojtěch Jasný: Looks like a really nice place if you are into martial arts. I recommend the Kettlebell Club Berlin which has trainings in the same space.

Anne Becker: Go there for a free trial and see if you like it. They offer different "classes" like boxing, thai boxing, mma and open gym.

BJJ DOJO Berlin: what do users think?

Niels ten Oever: Very nice gym with dedicated, technical, and kind trainers. Trained here for about a month while in Berlin, welcomed by a dedicated group of all levels and genders. A lot of fun to train, drill, spar, and chat. Yoga sessions on the weekend are very nice plus, and the open mat on Saturday is amazing. As well as the ability to train mornings and evenings.

christian hänchen: I been to quite a few BJJ dojos and this stand out by far. Not only is the community and atmosphere extremely pleasant and inclusive. But also Rodrigo (owner and head coach) is amazing in the way the teaches - precise, patient and approachable!

Sebastian Cushing: As a beginner it has been a great atmosphere. The dojo has many options that provide flexibility to different schedules. Rodrigo is a patient and detail oriented instructor who is personable and ready to answer any questions. The dojo is clean, well organized and very welcoming.

Serbay Arslanhan: I joined the gym recently. Everyone has been very nice and offered help whenever I needed / asked for it. For me, having options to join morning or evening classes was also very helpful for fitting the classes into my schedule.

Rodrigo Catao: Great place for starters in BJJ. Rodrigo is a great coach and the Dojo has a great infra structure. Students from all levels train here in great friendly environment.

Eva Lund: This is an awesome dojo! It is beginner friendly and adapts to the different needs of the students: hobby-training, competition preparation, etc.; the classes are mostly taught in english (with a mix of german and portuguese ;-)).

Markus Twele: Great place! Amazing coaches and very welcoming atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Valerio Massucci: A highly skilled and dedicated Professor as Rodrigo and the most welcoming team sets the perfect environment for students both at beginner and advanced level whether adults or kids. The brand new location has quite a spacious tatami and as far as lessons there is plenty of choice between morning and evening classes every day of the week and open mats during the weekend. Last but not least very high hygiene standards are kept throughout the gym, a very important factor considering the inherent dynamics of this martial art. All in all a great atmosphere at the Dojo and would recommend anyone to pay a visit.

Q L: An awesome academy of jiujitsu. It is located at a convenient location in Kreuzberg. The approach of the teaching is focused on movements and heuristic principles. Will train here when I visit Berlin again!

Scruffy Rodriguez: Great gym, friendly to newcomers and with down to earth people

Paris Kontopyrgos: bad me no like

Ashkan Rezaei: Money oriented , unfriendly and partly racist crowd and bad train This gym has only one positive point, namely trainer Robert, who is friendly and professional. You can forget other trainers. There are much better providers in Berlin

A Stolze: cutthroat! Toggle contracts and dispassionate trainers. There are 1000 better gyms in Berlin Fenriz in Kreuzberg or Spitfire in Schöneberg.

Qaiser Abbasi: Trainees and trainers are all respectful and really fun to train there!

Chimosa: what do users think?

Dragan Bacivan: Amazing workout, high intensity with really good technique being taught. Highly recommend ! I took the Kickboxing Fitness and the All Levels Muay Thai courses. Was a lot of fun. Thanks to the team at Chimosa

Simon El hakim: One of the few mma gyms that I could train at while holidaying in Germany without needing to get a year long membership. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, definitely worth a look!

Laura Bua-Giancarro: Took a boxing class while we were in Berlin for a week. English speaking staff were incredibly helpful and made for a really fun experience

Xile Zhong: Finally my favorite martial arts school is open again! Really missed the classes and the great energy. I love this place because there are a lot of women in the classes, which makes the sparring exercises way more fun and less intimidating. Also the teachers are very strong in technique and explains every move very well. A big plus are also the Yoga classes for a balance.

Ph Quiring: Chimosa is really improving the life quality! The atmosphere is amazing, very interesting personalities you start to know during the training session - I am very happy to be back in Berlin after a while and having this home feeling straight away from Chimosa - Thank you for being in town : )

Pause & Play: The most amazing and caring educators. They give our children and ourselves confidence, love, personal treatment and respect. I totally recommend.

Germana Pilot: It was love at first sight! I came here 8 months ago to do some yoga and "just stay fit", but I tried boxing and I re-discover my passion for sports. My motivation stays high also thanks to the wonderful people I meet everyday here, from Yichi and Yin, very caring owners, the funny staff at the reception, the crazy trainers (each of them is soooo good) and the other people training. The gym itself if very welcoming, colorful and clean. Thank you for being there!

Jinyu Li: In general very good experience, however I could not understand why that, as a L member of USC I could not check in for the Saturday class as I am always being informed that the Saturday class is “fully booked” no matter how early I arrive. While at the same time, I can always check in for the EXACT SAME CLASS on Thursday when the reception is another person. I mean I get it that having your own members are always better than having third party members and I get that your own member should have priority. But having vague policies is really confusing for us customers and I mean, if you really don’t want to partner up with Urban Sports Club, you can always cancel it, rather than stating that the L members can still come but in really we can’t .
