Fenriz Gym: what do users think?

LW1: I am a BJJ white belt from Australia who dropped in for a roll while in Berlin for a short time. Ended up going to some night classes (back to back). Staff were easy to talk to and welcoming. I felt very safe and comfortable. Coaches were easy to understand and gave great advice. Gym is clean and change rooms are good! Classes were in English and rolls were solid! 🤙🏼My classes were with Peter and Felipe and I was welcomed to the club by Robert and Michelle (excellent service!). Thanks for the warm welcome and happy rolling 🙌
Response: Thanks a lot and safe travels. Come say hi when you’re in the area again 🤙

Cameron McLean: Needed a trainer for my 3-week trip to Berlin to keep up my motivation as a near total beginner. Felipe provided me with outstanding personalised instruction over 8 or 9 sessions, which he linked to group classes. This was a huge learning step for me - cannot recommend Felipe highly enough.
Response: Hi Cameron, Thank you for your nice review

Camila Wahrendorff: The gym is very well organized, the teachers are great and they all speak English. If it only had a Fan so we don’t suffer too much in summer it would be perfect!
Response: Hi Camila, thanks for the nice review. We're glad you like it here. It's hard to keep a place like ours cool with so many people hard at work and outside temperatures of 35+ but we're trying to maintain a good climate through our ventilation system as much as possible. Thanks again and see you on the mat :)

Dragan Bacivan: One of the best MMA gyms I've ever visited. Been here for a few months and I love it. The BJJ instructors are highly experienced, give good instructions and attention to students. The vibe is also positive among grapplers/sparring partners. Highly recommend! Thanks Fenriz
Response: Thanks a lot Dragan

Sangram Gupta: Good place for everything, MuayThai, Boxing, Wrestling, JuiJitsu and MMA. Nice staff and coaches accompanied with usually good crowd. Hygienic gym. Sometimes the owner is rude specially on the slippers if you forget, but he is so to everyone. People feel bad about it but well atleast he is not partial there.
Response: Hi Sangram, thank you for the 5 stars and the constructive feedback.

kris howard: Amazing gym friendly reception and coach's. I have no idea where some of the negative reviews about the staff are coming from. In the almost 10 times I've been here they were always nice and accommodating even when I forgot some equipment.
Response: Thank you for the great review Kris. You're always welcome

Liselot Ramirez (Lee): I took the Muay Thai class and it's just like they describe it: learning together, very respectful, and for a newbie like me the coach and the other students gave me the chance to keep trying, and that's why I'm coming back. Robert was at the desk and answered all my questions; he's very professional and helpful. The facilities are super clean, with great space, and with everything you need. You have two free trial classes, it's good to take them and have an idea what you want to do next, meet the coaches and the people. Overall, everyone is great here.
Response: Hi Lee! Thank you so much for the nice review :) we’re glad you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you back soon. All the best ✌️

Andrew Howden: There is a Muay Thai gym about 100m from my house. I do not go there — Instead, I cycle to Fenriz! It is near the best gym I tried — maybe on a median, the best.
Response: Thank you for the kind words Andrew :) You're always welcome.

Rikard Hjort: Great facility, great coaches, great atmosphere, lots of classes both morning and evening, there's even a weight training gym area, and whenever there's no class you're free to train alone or with a partner. If you're a busy person who values flexibility and quality, this is a great choice.
Response: Thank you Rikard! Happy to hear you like it here :) you're always welcome.

Lukas Bubner: Great teamvibes, coaches, equipment and hygiene - Even for visitors from other BJJ Gyms! I'm excited to exercise soon in Fenriz Gym for my stay in Berlin!!
Response: Thank you, Lukas!

Spitfire Academy Berlin GmbH: what do users think?

Andrew Barnes: Great gym with a really nice, multicultural group of athletes/hobbyists and a great atmosphere overall. Instructors are friendly and approachable & make beginners feel welcome. Class taught in a mix of German & English but everyone is accommodated. Would definitely recommend.

Baran Calisci: Nice gym and strong fighters. Friendly staff and a lot of courses. High humidity in the gym because many ppl sweat in small area but nothing to bad. Just need to get used to it.

#yogamithandan “Yoga & Körperarbeit” / miss ShantiPanthi: Positive: QualityProfessional and very friendly gym in Berlin. I was welcomed warmly (as a female "lightweight" beginner) to join the BJJ classes with professor Gabriel Rainho. Although many people on the mats, the atmosphere was always friendly and professional. I'm looking forward to re-join on my next visit.

Emiliano il serpe: Best gym in Berlin! Been training here for almost 4 years and never regretted once ;)

Chrissie: The BEST Gym for training BJJ!!! I started there as a fresh BJJ white belt in 2015 and they have been nothing but supportive along my journey through BJJ. I'd watched the trainers from all martial arts codes support their students and sculpt them into fierce athletes. It's amazing to see such a transformation! Even in myself, though I am not committed as most members, I saw fantastic results. I absolutely LOVE the support given from everyone at Spitfire whether they are a trainer or any level athlete or member! PLUS, you can meet anyone and speak any language from across the globe. This is such an amazing multi-cultural hub! So cool to see all different types of people together and share their culture and talents with one another. If you are interested in Martial Arts, I 100% totally recommend!

Timo Rößner: Best gym in town. Period. I've seen at least half a dozen of mma / kickboxing / brazilian jiu jutsu gyms in Berlin but this one is by far the best. Instructors are mostly ego-free (something quite rare), people very nice, international and the classes are excellent. Easy to make friends, have a good time and learn something. The BJJ team is also very active, going to tournaments all the time and making it easy for you to join. I have trained here for 1,5 years now and literally the worst thing i have to say is that sometimes it's a bit too packed. But I'd take that over a half-empty gym any day.

Sergio De Lima: If you’re seeking either health improvement, learn how to defend yourself or even have a better social life that’s the exact place to be, very professional and friendly staff with a bunch of options for you or your family to learn martial arts in any area with great professional martial artists, the gym is complete with everything that you need and absolutely nice and clean !

Quang Ong: Great nogi class. Very good, friendly and knowledge coach and staff, high level training partners.

M N: Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueBelow average gym with hygiene issues and terrible management. Despite their copy paste review response to "contact them directly" multiple attmepts to do so were ignored.

amr wahman: This place is very wonderful, I advise all friends to participate in this beautiful edifice and have technical expertise and the work of champions running in MMA tournaments around the world

MMA Berlin - Mixed Martial Arts: what do users think?

Azuron Burrito: I've been working out here for almost 2 years - great coaches and courses.
Response: Thank you! : )

Bahram Elham: Cool

Scruffy Rodriguez: Great gym, friendly to newcomers and with down to earth people
Response: Thank you! : )

Paris Kontopyrgos: bad me no like

Ashkan Rezaei: Money oriented , unfriendly and partly racist crowd and bad train This gym has only one positive point, namely trainer Robert, who is friendly and professional. You can forget other trainers. There are much better providers in Berlin

Jacob Stille: Caution subscription trap! After 12+2 months, I properly submitted the notice of termination, then I was informed that the contract would have been automatically extended by the duration of the term. In my case 12 months. When I then pointed out that I had paid all the agreed contributions (even 2 more) and that I could no longer come for health reasons, I was offered the opportunity to pause the extended contract by submitting a certificate. My explicit instruction not to debit any more contributions was initially not answered and then with the words "okay, then I will no longer debit" - as if this were a courtesy. It's not this! Regardless of the contract, direct debit mandates can be withdrawn at any time. With regard to the always morally reprehensible tactic of tacit contract extensions, this has been officially illegal by the BGH since March of this year! Consumer contracts can be terminated monthly after the end of the term, regardless of general terms and conditions, etc. It's a pity to have to end the number with such a "fight (r)ampf"! Training good, unfortunately no showers...

Hayrettin Kanbur: I trained here for many years and it was always a great experience with super nice people and teachers. Go do a rehearsal, we'll see..have fun.maybe I'll start again at the age of 49 :)

Pierre Bernhard: I've been with MMA Berlin for almost 2 years. The studio is very easy to reach by public transport (approx. 5-8 minutes from S-Bahn station Julius-Leber-Brücke and U-Bahn station Kleispark). There is a wide range of different training sessions, at all possible times. The length of the workouts is just right. The trainers take the time to answer questions/feedback and ensure correct execution. You feel very welcome and the members help and support each other. During sparring and ground fighting (BJJ), consideration is given to one another. I feel very comfortable here and can heartily recommend it to everyone! The corona rules are strict but necessary. Better be Safe than Sorry. Kudos to Wolf, Daisuke and Robert for the great training sessions. Regards Pierre

A Stolze: cutthroat! Toggle contracts and dispassionate trainers. There are 1000 better gyms in Berlin Fenriz in Kreuzberg or Spitfire in Schöneberg.

Qaiser Abbasi: Trainees and trainers are all respectful and really fun to train there!

Ringside Gym - Muay Thai / MMA / BJJ / BOXEN / ESKRIMA: what do users think?

Yushu Soon: The gym offers a friendly and motivating training atmosphere - you can feel how the trainers do their best to give attention to each person in the class. Great timetable and good value too.

Tanja Keller: Great Gym! I had the chance to train there for 3 weeks while I was in Berlin and had such a great time. Coaches and teammate were brilliant!

Pat Mc Kenna: Great gym! Nice mix of classes at different times. The staff are open to feedback and always looking to improve the place. Would recommend.

Elijaih Blue: Great gym that is easy to find near Ostkreuz. The trainings are very good and majority of trainers teach in German or English so there is no problem for visitors to participate in the classes.

paolo abriola: Every time I’m in Berlin I go train at Ring side gym. People are really nice and the instructors are super prepared. If you are in Berlin don’t miss the chance to train with the best !

Augustine St. Louis: Wonderful place to train. Got great trainers and also nice people(with skills) .

Fang Han: My son and I are both registed by the BJJ training of Ringside. Both BJJ trainers Elijaih and Gabriel are amazing teachers, they are very patient and encouraging, they can explain the movements very clearly and always give effort of the personal empowerment of each student.

EBP: If the Coaches of the Gym start rating their own gym and calling it good and clean, you already know what´s wrong.

Vojtěch Jasný: Looks like a really nice place if you are into martial arts. I recommend the Kettlebell Club Berlin which has trainings in the same space.

Anne Becker: Go there for a free trial and see if you like it. They offer different "classes" like boxing, thai boxing, mma and open gym.

Rama Reddy: I am biased, because I'm the trainer BUT this group is friendly, athletic, and diligent. Could not ask for a better team!

Mohammed Abdelgadir: The trainer is professional, the atmosphere is friendly

Manuel MANTU Overbeck: Relaxed family atmosphere. Friendly and competent trainer. I tested 3 dojos in Berlin and this one fully convinced me. Mixed group of men and women. comradely community. I also come to family training with my daughter. Highly recommended.

Anon Ymous: Good martial arts school. Professional and friendly trainers, relaxed and at the same time competent atmosphere. Very fair price. For beginners to professionals, everything is included here! I highly recommend!

Karl Auer: Open and pleasant training atmosphere. Rama and Bene are not only very competent, but can also be contacted at any time with questions. There is no annoying dominance behavior in the group - learning and having fun are the main focus. It's just friendly there, you feel welcome even if you don't have much experience. Really great!

Fantastische 10: I am very grateful to have found you Rama and Benne, two excellent coaches, it is always a pleasure to come to training after a long search for the right club To have highly recommended always kindly remaining family Anjum

BJJ Fightzone Checkmat Berlin: what do users think?

Scott McCoull: Awesome gym and super friendly to travellers. Made me feel very welcome coming in for a single session. Good coaching and high level training partners. Definitely check the gym out if you're in Berlin!

jicot J: High quality trainings, from beginner to more advanced level. The coaches take time to explain and show the movements. Very nice atmosphere in this club !

Stefan Satchkov: A great group of people with a super warm and welcoming atmosphere. The guys make it easy to fit right in and there is plenty of experience on the mats. The coaching is brilliant (yes, in English too) and you can expect a proper warm up, stretching, technical drills and then sparring. The opportunity to have beginner, intermediate and advanced classes doesn't happen at every gym, but we do get that at Fightzone. Classes are booked via an app and payments are automated - everything is set up for you to just get rolling.

Rita: Training at Fightzone Berlin is an important part of my life. Fightzone is a wonderful training place and there are good vibes. At Fightzone Berlin you are welcomed with open arms from day 1. It's not only a place to do sports, but also a community. We support each other. The daily training opportunities give you the chance to learn new skills all the time. The coaches Markus and Jack are there to help you improve. New techniques are given to you and thoroughly worked out. They know their job and do it very well. I'm glad to have found a second home at Fightzone, and I'm happy to continue representing Checkmat and Fightzone Berlin in competition. All in all, amazing experience, wonderful team and amazing coaches.

Fadi Hamam: A great BJJ gym with an enjoyable and growth focused atmosphere with the team! Whether you want to focus on self-defence, sport jiujiustu or just stay fit and have fun, the competent and well experienced coaches will provide you with what you need! I highly recommend!

Jakub-James Boote: I've been attending Fightzone Checkmat Berlin for 6/7 months now. Jack and Markus are great teachers and most importantly are incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere they have created at the gym is one of community and this feeling reaches down into everybody at the gym. Love the gym and will continue to go as long as I live in Berlin!

Ori Gour: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI had the opportunity to train with these guys for 2 days while visiting Berlin. The gym has a nice and kind family vibe,I felt really welcomed. The coaching was great and overall i recommend you go check it out. OSS!

Giuseppe Maniscalco: Best BJJ gym in the city, the instructions are super friendly and professional.I go for myself and my son that is in the youngest group, we both are always looking forward for training.

Camilo Gómez: Been there for around a year. Dropped some pounds and increased my skills in the deadly arts :) The people is very cool, everyone has something to share or teach. Defenitely the best BJJ spot in Berlin. I recommend it 5stars.

Lucas Pflueger: Had a great time dropping by and some solid rolls. Coach didn’t ask for anything in return.

BJJ DOJO Berlin: what do users think?

Niels ten Oever: Very nice gym with dedicated, technical, and kind trainers. Trained here for about a month while in Berlin, welcomed by a dedicated group of all levels and genders. A lot of fun to train, drill, spar, and chat. Yoga sessions on the weekend are very nice plus, and the open mat on Saturday is amazing. As well as the ability to train mornings and evenings.
Response: Hey Niels. Thank you for coming by and spending time with us. We hope to see you in the future !

christian hänchen: I been to quite a few BJJ dojos and this stand out by far. Not only is the community and atmosphere extremely pleasant and inclusive. But also Rodrigo (owner and head coach) is amazing in the way the teaches - precise, patient and approachable!
Response: Hello Christian Thanks for your kind words. See you soon!

Sebastian Cushing: As a beginner it has been a great atmosphere. The dojo has many options that provide flexibility to different schedules. Rodrigo is a patient and detail oriented instructor who is personable and ready to answer any questions. The dojo is clean, well organized and very welcoming.
Response: Hello Sebastian. Thank you for your feedback!

Serbay Arslanhan: I joined the gym recently. Everyone has been very nice and offered help whenever I needed / asked for it. For me, having options to join morning or evening classes was also very helpful for fitting the classes into my schedule.
Response: Hello Serbay, Thank you for your review!

Rodrigo Catao: Great place for starters in BJJ. Rodrigo is a great coach and the Dojo has a great infra structure. Students from all levels train here in great friendly environment.
Response: Hello Rodrigo. Many thanks for coming by and bringing the family with you!

Eva Lund: This is an awesome dojo! It is beginner friendly and adapts to the different needs of the students: hobby-training, competition preparation, etc.; the classes are mostly taught in english (with a mix of german and portuguese ;-)).
Response: Thank you very much for your words! See you on the mat.

Markus Twele: Great place! Amazing coaches and very welcoming atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

dan: My first private class in BJJ with Rodrigo was yesterday. Before heading over, I explained what I was interested in learning and experiencing for my first class. He delivered everything in a competent, encouraging, and patient manner. The Dojo is brand new and done with care. A calming atmosphere. I can't compare my experience with others since it is my first, but I was personally looking for this.
Response: Hello Dan. I am happy that you've had a positive experience. Thanks for coming by and see you in the future!

Valerio Massucci: A highly skilled and dedicated Professor as Rodrigo and the most welcoming team sets the perfect environment for students both at beginner and advanced level whether adults or kids. The brand new location has quite a spacious tatami and as far as lessons there is plenty of choice between morning and evening classes every day of the week and open mats during the weekend. Last but not least very high hygiene standards are kept throughout the gym, a very important factor considering the inherent dynamics of this martial art. All in all a great atmosphere at the Dojo and would recommend anyone to pay a visit.
Response: Thanks for the feedback!

Q L: An awesome academy of jiujitsu. It is located at a convenient location in Kreuzberg. The approach of the teaching is focused on movements and heuristic principles. Will train here when I visit Berlin again!
Response: Thank you very much for visiting us! See you soon

Chimosa: what do users think?

Big Nick: I attended 2 boxing fitness classes at Chimosa with Fiona and it was so much fun! All five of these stars are for her. A lot of boxing fitness classes are just about burning calories and pay little attention to technique and don't use realistic combinations, but Fiona's class not only burned around 900 calories, it also included a lot of really useful drills and combos. The class was really well structured and had an obvious outcome that it definitely achieved. I don't think I've ever sweat so much! As there are no shoes allowed in the training room, everyone's sweat made it very slippery. I didn't let this small negative take away from the amazing class. I would 100% recommend Fiona's classes to anyone interested in boxing, fitness or a combination of both.

Dragan Bacivan: Amazing workout, high intensity with really good technique being taught. Highly recommend ! I took the Kickboxing Fitness and the All Levels Muay Thai courses. Was a lot of fun. Thanks to the team at Chimosa

Simon El hakim: One of the few mma gyms that I could train at while holidaying in Germany without needing to get a year long membership. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, definitely worth a look!

Andreea Mandeal: Love this place! Totally recommend it. The kickboxing training is probably the best work out class I've ever done.

Laura Bua-Giancarro: Took a boxing class while we were in Berlin for a week. English speaking staff were incredibly helpful and made for a really fun experience

Xile Zhong: Finally my favorite martial arts school is open again! Really missed the classes and the great energy. I love this place because there are a lot of women in the classes, which makes the sparring exercises way more fun and less intimidating. Also the teachers are very strong in technique and explains every move very well. A big plus are also the Yoga classes for a balance.
Response: Dear Xile, as our motto is: "Where Yin meets Yang", it is essential for us to strengthen the trust that our member will always find a safe space and a balanced training in our studio. And we are also sooo happy to be open again!!! :) Thank you so much for your words, see you soon! Your Chimosa Team

Ph Quiring: Chimosa is really improving the life quality! The atmosphere is amazing, very interesting personalities you start to know during the training session - I am very happy to be back in Berlin after a while and having this home feeling straight away from Chimosa - Thank you for being in town : )
Response: Thank you so much for your words! We are happy to have you back - it‘s been a long time! See you on the mat „Ph“ 😉

Pause & Play: The most amazing and caring educators. They give our children and ourselves confidence, love, personal treatment and respect. I totally recommend.

Germana Pilot: It was love at first sight! I came here 8 months ago to do some yoga and "just stay fit", but I tried boxing and I re-discover my passion for sports. My motivation stays high also thanks to the wonderful people I meet everyday here, from Yichi and Yin, very caring owners, the funny staff at the reception, the crazy trainers (each of them is soooo good) and the other people training. The gym itself if very welcoming, colorful and clean. Thank you for being there!

Jinyu Li: In general very good experience, however I could not understand why that, as a L member of USC I could not check in for the Saturday class as I am always being informed that the Saturday class is “fully booked” no matter how early I arrive. While at the same time, I can always check in for the EXACT SAME CLASS on Thursday when the reception is another person. I mean I get it that having your own members are always better than having third party members and I get that your own member should have priority. But having vague policies is really confusing for us customers and I mean, if you really don’t want to partner up with Urban Sports Club, you can always cancel it, rather than stating that the L members can still come but in really we can’t .
Response: Hello Jinyu, thanks for giving us this feedback! There could be a mistake in the system. We will contact USC immediately. If you still have any problems in your next Check-Ins, we are happy if you let us know via mail info@chimosa.de . Have a good week! All the best, Your CHIMOSA Team.

Golden Glory Germany: what do users think?

Nadja: An excellent sport club. Intensive training, cool music, friendly environment. I really enjoy my every class there, although as I came for the first time I was very weak and obese. Super fast not only strength, but also stamina and endurance improvement.

Story Time Jonz: I have been training in Muay Thai for close to 12yrs and have traveled around the world, training at different gyms along the way. I recently trained at Golden Glory in Berlin with Tarek, and this has been one of the best kickboxing training experiences thus far. Although this was K-1 focused, which was new for me, it was superb training from a superb trainer. It was the best and worst personal training sessions; the best because it was very functional and technical, the worst because Tarek kept pushing me to hit harder, correct my form, and didn't permit very many breaks. It was some of the best and hardest training, and I look forward to training there again next year. Great gym!!! Great trainer!!!

charlyne chiappone: great workout, very friendly atmosphere and they have the best music too :D

Fink Michelson: You will love this place if you love pushing yourself, gettin a good workout and if you like deep dark techno :)

Daniela Solano: Extremely clean, friendly and great service. Will come definitely back :)

m m: Bomb!

Manja Gottschalk: I've been a member of Golden Glory for a few months and would recommend the club to anyone wanting to start or continue with kickboxing. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, gender or background. The members are open and friendly. You quickly make friends and you are not “the new guy”. The trainers are great. Even if an hour is full, you will still be well looked after. Hints are given, you are improved and motivated. The trainers walk around and keep an eye on everyone, whether it's their fourth straight lesson. Particularly noteworthy is how you are addressed by name the next time, even after just one visit. Training times leave nothing to be desired. You can train from Monday to Sunday and the membership fee is absolutely fair. I feel very well taken care of.

Hannes Hradetzky: Extremely good workout! Varied and demanding in an always pleasant atmosphere. In addition, an experienced trainer who can give specific tips to exploit your individual potential. Really strong!

Josha Suter: Very nice atmosphere and at the same time the certain drill for a hammer training experience with clear results !! Something for everyone. Thank you for the great training 🥊

Abdulshahid Grkovskij: Too expensive!!!! And even threaten you. I really don't recommend this studio to anyone, there are far better martial arts schools for €20 a month.

Bart Craenmehr: Absolutely love the place. Been a few times now, and they are so incredibly nice. High level techniques. Can't wait to visit them again this week. Robert is a true Brooks professional and you can see that through his teaching and his high level teachers. Thanks for having me when I am in Berlin!

gaurav roy: Really good gym in Berlin with high level training partners. The environment is very friendly, which makes training and sparring fun and interesting. I would recommend the gym for sure to my friends.

Felix- R. Dénommé: Very nice gi and no gi open mat on Sunday’s, welcoming vibe, high level technical rolls, lots of women/ small grapplers and medium sized athletes that are adept at matching the weight of smaller partners.Last but not least clean facilities!

zip zditch: I love this gym. It’s friendly, welcoming and with good etiquette . Also very welcoming for women. See you on the mat!

Mel O'Brien: This is an awesome gym with phenomenal instructors, great students and a nice laid back atmosphere. From the first meeting, Robert was very hospitable, answered all my questions and invited me to train in the gym. All of the coaches and other students welcomed me in the classes. Additionally, as I don't speak German, it could have been difficult to understand what we were learning. However, the coaches made sure to either repeat instruction for me in English, or on occasion, teach the class in English so I could fully understand everything. BJJ Akademie has brilliant coaches and students, a super culture and great facilities! I recommend them 100 percent! Thanks Robert and the BJJ Akademie Team!!

János Binder: It is a traveller-friendly gym, with great trainers and open minded people. I would definitely recommend to train here.

Saam Bahadori: Very friendly gym. Asked to drop in for a session while I was visiting Berlin and they responded very fast.Had a great roll, love to visit again some time.

Rafael Santamarta: BJJ Academie is a great place to learn BJJ. Robert is a great teacher who not only is nice and easy to talk to but you can tell that he really cares about his students and he is very detail oriented. The mats are very clean and the atmosphere is very friendly but also with the right dosis of eager to learn and help each other. At least that’s been my experience after a couple of months training almost daily there. I can only recommend it there!

Irene Switch: Very nice gym, friendly people and top notch instruction. The instructors are patient and thorough, and the team has a great vibe. Absolutely recommend training there, can’t wait to visit again!

Matthias Hesse: Best BJJ Location in Berlin! High Level BJJ with many black and brown belts but there are also basic classes for newcomers. Very nice people and everybody is willing to help the partners to become better.

stoneyrolls withthepunches: Ralph has a wealth of knowledge from physical education to physio therapy. He has made a family friendly environment while simultaneously creating a gym that breeds high level competitive athletes to people who just want to learn something new. Whether you're interested in becoming a professional grappler, kickboxer, or learning MMA, to just wanting to get in great shape have fun and meet a new unique community of awesome people this school is absolutely worth while to explore, opportunity is endless. I have been training and studying jiu-jitsu for around 7 years now before that I came from a kickboxing background and have trained in the martial art's for over 23 years now; however within the first hour of training under Mr. Warneking he has helped me improve my skillset tremendously and I learn each and every time I go to train with him and his students. Ralf's pedigree speaks for itself. Undefeated kickboxing champion, one of the original group of students to receive a jiu-jitsu black belt under Eddie Bravo. Ralph has countless victories in jiu-jitsu competition. Mr. Warneking has been able to successfully transfer his skills and knowledge into his passion for teaching and is an excellent instructor. It has been an absolute honour and a pleasure to learn from him. I highly recommend going to see him you will be amazed by his keen attention to detail and ability to guide you through any lesson.

Deniz Uzunoglu: I loved jiu jitsu for the couple of years that I did it but a bad motorcycle accident sidelined me for many years. After recovery, I was busy with work and travel and only dropped into the occasional class here or there. Over the years I've been lucky enough to drop into classes at a lot of great places but it wasn't until a session with Ralph at 10p Berlin that I was absolutely hooked. Now I can't get enough. There is SOOO MUCH to learn and I'm blessed to be able to learn as much as I will ever be able to absorb and all in one place. From the big picture to the smallest detail, I'm learning with what feels like family. Fantastic experience!

Juan Pablo Solano: The best place in Berlin for training and learn the NoGi science, is like a family and the people are very kind and humble. Thank you Master Ralf for your knowledge and hard work!! 🙏🏻

Francis Ngo: I have been a practitioner of the martial arts for over 20 years and I am continuously surprised of how deep the technical level of Ralf's style of Jiu Jitsu goes. When I first moved to Berlin, I searched the city for places to train and gauged the martial arts scene in the city. There were quite a few jiu jitsu places that trained in the gi that offered classes in no-gi. But gi is not really my cup of tea and I wanted to be taught by a no-gi specialist. I had done no-gi jiu jitsu at a 10th Planet school a couple of times before and really enjoyed it, so when I saw that there was a 10th Planet black belt in Berlin, I knew I had to start training with him. First day of class we drilled heel hooks, straight ankle locks, and knee bars in a class full of white belts. We even rolled after using the same techniques and there was not one injury. Ralf was very clear and concise about how to drill each and every technique safely. Classes are also taught in both English and German. Ralf teaches the 10th Planet System and catch wrestling chain submission chains in tandem along with his own personal style. He teaches us not just techniques, but rather jiu jitsu concepts that help our over all game that can be applied to any style. After only 4 months of training jiu jitsu with Ralf, I was able to tap out an experience purple belt two times (with some coaching) and managed to get tapped out only two times as a white belt. In addition to being a great jiu jitsu coach, Ralf is also a trained naturopathic medicine practitioner and chiropractor with an extensive knowledge of anatomy. In less than 10 seconds, he completely fixed my dislocated hip that I suffered from on and off since 2013. Also using physical therapy exercises, he helped rehabilitate and fix my knee that I had injured in early 2018 by doing the rubber guard improperly. Ever since, I try to make it to every class that is offered due to how much it helps maintain my health and it keeps my skills and mind sharp. If you're looking for a well rounded jiu jitsu gym with a world class coach and an international atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Titus Hetzer: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueRalf is a true athlete and a rare teacher both on and off the mat. His dedication to a healthy lifestyle is a powerful way of helping his students become better versions of themselves. Highly recommend this place if you are looking to get fit or learn some serious Jiu Jitsu. Always clean, welcoming atmosphere and great value.

Alberto Mangas: All around excellent BJJ Academy with very good environment and rolling partners, as well as a great professor in Ralf Warneking

Julia M: Great learning environment! Awesome people to learn with and Ralf is a great trainer who pushes you to the next level but in your own pace. I am thankful to have the great chance to learn with you! 🤙

coolmaker2006: Very nice and friendly atmosphere. And high professional coaching!
