Emily: “Stick to your ribs” food that’s delicious and prepared quickly. The vegan options were great. If you’re vegan, make sure to specify vegan mashed potatoes when you order. The tables inside are all standing-only. There are picnic tables outside that you can sit at. The staff was friendly and helpful!
Response: Thanks a lot for your review, Emily!

Ida Reihani: Tender Swedish-style meatballs served with some of the best fries in Berlin. Please do yourself a favor and try the rice pudding with the brown sugar cinnamon combo. What a finisher.
Response: Many thanks for your awesome review! We are very glad you enjoyed your meal, hope to see you soon!

Luigi Puno (Luigi): Pretty tasty, I had the meat version and really enjoyed it. My vegetarian friends said that the veggie balls were good too. Reasonably quick service, everything is sort of ready to go and they scoop portions out, cafeteria style. I really liked the sauce. You can pay with card!
Response: Thank you so much. We look forward to your next visit.

Jaime Mendez: Nice place to eat köttbullar. Friendly staff, efficient and the prices are good for the portions you get
Response: We love to hear it! Thanks a lot for your review - hope to see you soon!

Munch's Hus: what do users think?

Julia A.: The restaurant is authentic and has a good variety of Norwegian dishes. Also the service was very attentive and quick. However, in my opinion my fish dish wasn’t that fresh; it had rather a strong taste and smell, also the texture had suffered a bit already. Considering the high prices of this place, more freshness was definitely expected.

Miriam: Very good food! Super tasty fish and sides. Great variety of beers. Staff was also really nice, helpful and relaxed, the portions are very generous and the quality is just as it should be for an affordable price. 10/10 would recommend.

Steve Myslinski: Excellent food and wonderful service. I would highly recommend for something a bit different than the traditional Berlin food scene.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Sapir Mizrahi: Cozy and nice place to seat. I liked the atmosphere which felt just right for me. Fantastic food. The elk and duck dishes were incredibly good. Highly recommended. The service was super! Not a cheap retaurant, but for special occasions it could be a great experience.

Paul Harness: Well worth hunting out. The only Norwegian restaurant in Germany at first might be an unfamiliar menu but helpful staff will explain. Excellent grilled salmon on spinach & fried potatoes. Expect fairly high prices.

Megha Mallick: Hands down good Armenian food till now in Berlin. The meat, and vegetables are so juicy and the side dishes are 🏼 🏼 🏼 🏼. A bit on expensive side, but its good food 🤷🏻‍♀️.Definitely going back again.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Joakim Nordlund: Very good grilled lamb and generously filled glass of wine. The potatoe gratin was excellent.

Yevgeniy B: Great restaurant and friendly service

Vladimir Arustamian: Best grilled meat (shashlyk) I had in Berlin.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Simyar Hakimi: The food is fresh, tasty and high quality. The staff are polite and friendly. However, the service is slowwwwww.

Reza Barzegar: I would never recommend it to anyone here! Never! It was a catastrophic experience for me, it was the first time in my whole life that I saw a rude person in a restaurant! He was the restaurant manager!!! Yes! Restaurant manager!😐 Very rude, very irreverent!😬 After entering the restaurant, we were instructed by the waitress to sit in a special chair! 🤔As if we have booked that chair! In the corner of the restaurant! Then I asked the restaurant manager if you decide where customers sit. He said yes with a lot of rudeness! I decide everything!🤢🤢🤢

Onur Yildirim: Red wine was great, and mixed meat plate was delicious, super good quality and very peaceful ambiance to speak and enjoy the meal 👏

Ragna Elger: Nice staff, good food!!

Soroush S: Great quality of dishes, we tried lule kebab and kalb spieß the meat was juicy and perfect tasty, they have it with lawash bread and also with rice, I tried with rice and maybe next time with lawasch. The staffs are really kind , needs to be reserved, we ‚Ve gone twice there without reservation and they couldn’t‘t offer us a place for two

Christopher C: Restaurant in ritz Carlton hotel .. Lovely modern interior ..with an open kitchen Incredible starter (char) Monkfish next ..good , on the boring side And lamb with artichokes to finish …very nicely done Fixed dinner menu German wines by the glass .. Charming waiter …super service Recommended …even for a date , because of lovely interior Summer terrasse ..but seems to be always closed , funnily

Henning Niss: Really nice modern, German food. A little pretentious (part of the Ritz Carlton) but still relaxed enough. The staff was very welcoming and prices are reasonable.

Olena Myronyk: Very very good. My friends and I came for dinner. We took the 6-course menu. Even though I was not not a fan of some particular ingredients, I admit - this was very good. AND. The premium wine pairing! OH. MY. GOD. Every wine was so well balanced, so well developed, so tasty. The interior is so very fine. On Wednesday night, there was not so many people, but I blame it on the Christmas Markets Period. If you would like to spend the whole evening - 3-4 hours - in a cosy restaurant with fine food and wine, this is a place to go. Staff is so professional. Yes, it is expensive, but trust me, this is worth every cent 😋

M. Madsen: With praise and recommendations from German colleagues we went there for lunch in search for a birthday dinner venue for when my father turns 70 next June. We arrived at the amazing Ritz Carlton around noon, walked inside to the restaurant and was greeted by an above average angry and somewhat arrogant young lady at the front desk. I am adopted and with both my parents beeing caucasian, she seemed to have a hard time understanding we were all together. She said very loud and looked very suprised “Are you together??” Even we stood there all together presenting our reservation. Could have been pretty akward had someone else been there :-) A little after she finally understood we were a family, she laughed very arrogant and shaked her head when my wife asked if the terrace was open. (It was bad weather, but my wife was considering sitting outside to spare the other lunch guests from our baby girl). The reservation had been phoned in some days before and we specifically had asked not to be seated at a round table (since they are half-closed and we had a baby carriage with us). The angry lady took us directly to a round table. We ask politely to be moved, unfortunately not possible even there was only 5-6 tables occupied in the whole restautant. Apparently it’s the type of mangement that cramp guests together in sections and that day, unfortunately, the (nicer) end of the room close to the windows and terrace was all closed off. Up until now pretty horrible thanks to the angry lady and the cafeteria seating but the food was really great, especially if you take the price into consideration. Except the bread. Delicious, beautiful plated with great tastes, I had one of the best bisque of my life in that lunch. (Joel at Metropole, Caprice HK, Søllerød Kro). Moreover, the angry lady had left us and instead came waiter Angela (I think). Angela was so sweet and professional. She charmed a lot of the other tables as well and our daugther loved her from first seight also. It felt like she could have serviced all of the tables by herself. She turned around the whole experience.

Özgür ŞENER: I feel bad since I feel giving two stars only. Because the venue and the service is so good. Unfortunately I can’t say the same thing for the food and wine. We liked only the first course. Monkfish was very dry. Lamb smelled so bad I couldn’t eat it. The desert was nothing special. Tried two Chardonnay (1 bottle for 109euro and 59euro each) nothing special. For this price point unfortunately I wouldn’t go there again. Sorry guys!

Valentin Hermans: Nice venue with open kitchen. Interesting wine pairing. Food was nice, but certainly not outstanding. Sommelier and waiter were poorly trained. Got confused with the orders, spilled wine and water. You definitely find a better place in Berlin in this price range.

David Hamann: Staying at the hotel and stopped by the restaurant for breakfast. He an incredible experience. The staff was fantastic. The selection and quality on the buffet was excellent and was also able to order off of the meal.

East London Girl: If you are looking for a treat when visiting Berlin, look no further than POTS restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton hotel which is located in the centre of Berlin in Postdamer-Platz. POTS, with its Michelin star chef Dieter Muler, aims to reinvent German cuisine with dishes focused on sharing plates and experiences. Being a summer month, we chose to have dinner on the beautiful terrace at the back of the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant also looked amazing. We were greeted with a Pots Spritz, Reichstrat von buhl Reisling Brut with homemade douglas-fir syrup. This was a beautifully refreshing aperitif and unique with the fir flavouring. To start, we were recommended the Purple mustard egg, spinach, chive mash potato (12 €) and Matjes style whitefish, green apple, cucumber (12 €). Both starters were flavoursome and we were told modern takes on German classics! For mains, we had the “Burnt cabbage“, parsley, Miso from Berlin (19 €) and Meatballs, Bavarian, Riesling sauce (20 €). Like me, you may have been sceptical about having a whole cabbage for your main course but boy was I wrong. The textures and flavours were incredible and left you wanting more. As to the meatballs, the reisling sauce really helped make the dish a lot lighter than traditional meatball dishes. With the main courses, we were recommended Wittman weisser burgunder 2017 white wine, which paired beautifully with the cabbage and meatballs. For dessert, we could not resist sharing our favourite, Spiced crème brûlée, woodruff ice cream (9 €). Crispy on top and creamy and smooth underneath – perfection! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at POTS and were spoilt by very high end, modern German cuisine. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are looking for somewhere special whilst in town! We did not have time but the Curtain Club bar in the hotel also comes highly recommended and looked like a fantastic location for a pre or post dinner drink.

House of Do an - Vegetarisches, vietnamesisches Restaurant (& Cafe): what do users think?

S Thomas: Delicious and fresh!! I am trying to eat my way through the menu… only part way there and it is impossible to say what is best, because everything has been so special! Vegan creations, warm, hot and cold, … mild to spicy, sweet and savory options. I absolutely love this place. We were lucky to meet Vido, the owner, the first time we came. He explained the menu to us in English (as we speak no German), and made personal recommendations. His pineapple ice tea is fantastic! The restaurant itself is small and charming, with tables both inside and on the sidewalk. My only regret is that I will not be able to get through the entire menu before we need to leave Berlin.
Response: Thank you. We love you.🙏🙏🙏❤️

Đông Hưng Phùng: Overall the food is fresh and tasty. The glass noodle and the noodle soup are very delicious. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Even a big group of 15 peoples can fit in one table set. Will definitely come again.
Response: Sincerely grateful to all of you who came to support my family's restaurant. I am very happy to know that you are satisfied with my vegetarian dishes. All your contributions are very valuable to me because when cooking the dishes, I am very grateful to you. I always want to make this dish healthy and happy for the people who eat it, but I also want to be grateful to the vegetables, rice, and so on that have silently served our lives. Her wish is that each dish is also a dish. medicine to heal our bodies and minds. House of DOAN would like to thank you again, my guests. Thank you We love you.

Annely: The vegetarian sausage on top of my food was very odd as the flavor of it didn’t get along with the rest of the meal. Luckily after lifting the omelet I found some more food but it barely had any seasoning or dressing so I had to flavor it myself. They didn’t serve any beers or wine when we were there which was a pity. I tried the Ramen which my friend took and that was tasting well, so I might come back one day but for lunch instead of dinner. Also the back of the restaurant isn’t as cozy as the front so make sure you get a table in the front OR at the lounge area at the back left. The staff was very friendly and took my constructive feedback very well.
Response: House of DOAN would like to thank you very much. We hope the next time you come, everything will be better. Wish you always beautiful forever and fulfill all your wishes. Thank you we love you.❤️❤️🙏🙏💥😍

Serkan Ozkir: Very nice service with good quality food. The lemonade is very good but overpriced. Everything is vegetarian in this restaurant. Nice outdoor seating and interior is also nice. Portions are filing. They work with disco eats so make sure you book a table to get at least 20 percent off.

Michael Maps: Many vegan places try to be healthy but aren’t. This one is amazing. They have brown rice, the veggies are just barely steamed so they have a nice bite to them. Good flavor and unique combinations. Very welcome to see something original
Response: Thank you very much for understanding what we mean. Wishing you good health and happiness always.

Paula Lozek: Veggie 🌱 food with a really good taste 😇 100% recommend it 💚
Response: Thank you for leaving us a great review. We'll work even harder to elevate these vegan dishes to our loving elixir.

Zoran P: Fantastic vegan cuisine, great taste and presentation and top service received from young waiter. Highly recommended to everyone who’s seeking good taste food and good relaxed atmosphere

Flor Bari: Great, great food and professional delivery service!!! Food is very tasteful and portions are OK.They have a wide choice of vegetarian dishes but it will taste also for meat lovers .Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Response: Sincerely thank you for coming to our family restaurant. We wish you good health and much joy in life!❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Chonky Foodies: We had so much fun at Coda, it was quite an awesome experience. Flavours and textures were really something else. There is nothing really to complain about. While it’s not my place to give a Michelin starred restaurant feedback, but if you incorporate coffee in your menu, I would like to suggest to check out Rozali Coffee. While Bonanza is a good roaster, Rozali roasts exceptional coffee that might be a better fit to Coda. Other than that, it was amazing.
Response: Hey, well thank you so much. We will take a look.

Chloe Vuong: Great experience! If you want to foray into the gastronomy space, great place to start. Good value with the drink pairing which is innovative and enjoyable
Response: Dear Chloe, we highly appreciate your review. All the best from all of us.

Linnea Karlsson Harris: We were very excited to dine. Really nice and professional staff, would say that the food looks impressive but definitely playing it safe when it comes to flavor. Not what I would expect from a 2 star dining experience (very bland compared to other Micheline places) and sorry to say that I would not recommend it to friends/family for that sort of money.
Response: Dear Linnea, thanks for your words. Highly appreciated even though you do not highlight the taste of our food. Sometimes we have to be open for such reviews and we will discuss this internally. All the best from the whole team.

Nick Day: So, a disclaimer from the start, this was our first fine dining experience and our first Michelin starred restaurant. Appearances from the very start, were incredible. An undisclosed entrance into a delicately lit foyer and straight to our seats of this very small but personal restaurant. Everything felt tailor made for the experience and the staff were all brilliantly professional and knowledgeable. This latter point is where I would have appreciated a little less formality and something more akin to a chat, as the servers instead jumped straight into explanations and descriptions that meant little to me as a novice fine diner. The food looked incredible, totally unique and visually appealing in every way. The attention to detail was fascinating to pick apart and the level of craftsmanship was clear to see. Every plate had multiple textures and sensations and the experience of this alone was worth it. The flavours I found less incredible and underwhelmed me a little from what I was maybe expecting to taste - but this is likely my lack of a trained pallet.
Response: Dear Nick, thanks for your precise and to us overall positive description. We highly appreciate that you joined us for dinner and that you were open to try something new. Alle the best from all of us.

Moshé S: The seven-course meal was a surprise for each of our senses! Disruptive flavors and textures for our palate! Without a doubt an unforgettable experience! Thoughts: There is a very thin line between feeling in a cozy and intimate environment and being in a noisy packed place. 1 unisex bathroom for 25 guests is not enough. The chairs could be more comfortable, especially since the experience lasts up to 3 hours.
Response: Dear Moshé, thank you so much for your great review - and we highly appreciate your thoughts! Wishing you all the best and warm regards from the CODA team

Lucinda Viljoen: Celebrated our 10 year anniversary here this evening. And what an amazing experience! Each dish was spectacular in its own way. Flavors delicately selected and combined , and each course served with its own cocktail which brought out the best flavors in each dish. The Eggplant followed by the Cheesecake was my absolute favorites. The olive covered chocolate at the end was a delightful surprise. The fact that so much effort and thought goes into the construction if each dish is mine blowing. Tonight we ate art and loved every single bite.
Response: Dear Lucinda, we really appreciate your comments. Hopefully we will see you again at your 20 year anniversary. :)

Ofir Menda: A Michelin recommendation. Great restaurant with selected products.Recommended place for vegetarians. The place is simply decorated, but the dishes are divine. You must be ready for 3 hours meal.

Félix Boulanger: Really tasty food, combining very well seasonal products, and served with greatly fitting natural wines or alcohol free drinks. The attention to the details of the cuisine, the fine descriptions of the waiter and the wine context provided by the sommelier made us spend a fantastic evening. Plan 3 to 4 hours to go through the entire menu!

Pablo: If you’re looking for a truly extraordinary culinary experience in Berlin - this is the right place. Absolutely amazing service and very special food.

Sjoerd van den Reek: Very nice hidden gem in Kreuzberg. Super nice fixed 6 courses menu and superb wine pairing. The waiters are very relaxed but professional and like to make a joke! For sure would have dinner there again!

AB Lee: Modern, elegant and wholesome food, service was extremely attentive without overbearing. Waiting staff and sommelier for both wine and non-alcoholic pairing were extremely likeable and passionate. Nothing uneasy about the place, cozy and tasteful interior, no foam in every plate like in old haute cuisine. Our four hours here felt effortless.

Chuck Long: Super food, fresh and lovingly prepared... an amazing experience only to be topped by the outstanding service!Thank you, Ole and team for a fabulous evening!

Sandra Tur: My friends and I had a lovely time at Jasper’s for my 24th birthday. We had a private venue on the lower floor of the restaurant, which was super cozy and convenient. Service and food were amazing considering we were 22 people, and so was the room and location. Very appreciative of the staff that served us!

Maximilien Notter: Went for the truffle schnitzel, and it was the best schnitzel I ever had! You should go for the Kaiserschmarrn as a desert, but plan to have some space left :)Everything about this restaurant is amazing, from the food to the super friendly service! Would go back there anytime!

Izzy Robinson: Giulia and Alex were attentive and amazing, the schnitzel was delicious with the mushroom sauce and linden berry jam. Reasonably priced and atmosphere was superb. The service was quick and the drinks were flowing.

Christian Limburg: Delicious Vitello as a starter and the truffle schnitzel is amazing too! Can’t wait to go back. Great & friendly service

Brett O'Connor: Relaxed and friendly local restaurant with a blend of classic and modern cuisine from Austria and Southern Germany. Often my go to place when I have visitors here in Berlin.

Irem Demir: An amazing French restaurant! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is fast and the dishes are exceptionally delicious! The quality of the food is really good. We got 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes and 1 desert, all of them were extremely tasty. Highly recommend!!

Karim Dernaika: Another excellent French restaurant in the heart of Berlin, the atmosphere is very cozy and extremely friendly staff. Both the fish and fillet were exquisite. Their desserts are also exceptional. Highly recommended.

Jorge Grunho: Very friendly, professional and attentive staff. Food was great. Service was fast. Will definitively go back.

Julien B: Very good restaurant, for single, couple, or groups. The carte is detailed and give large choices, the owners know what they sell and give good advices. Personally I had a steak tartare followed by Creme brûlée and a glass of wine, this was perfect! Highly recommended!

Veronika Mačáková: Delicious food, great wine, nice and helpful service, absolutelly satisfied

Ajith Vasudevan: Traditional French dishes done in a quaint small joint with some very attentive service. Food quality is great and the prices are very high - but hey - you signed up for it if you came to dine here. While we did not have any drinks, the wine list appeared to have some interesting stuff in there. Meat was very good, sauces done just right and desserts were also good. Overall, pricey place for a traditional French meal when that urge cannot be resisted any more!!

Peter Gan: The food was good, and so was the ambience of the place. Both my entree and main were pretty amazing. However, the mediocre rating was mainly due to the service that was below par. My date and I were somewhat disappointed with the service offered to us, maybe because we are unassumingly younger than the other patrons. We had to wait a while before our orders were taken, and we had to help ourselves to our coats after dinner without any offer of assistance from the service staff. More emphasis should be on service. It was ironic when we got our bill that it mentioned gratuity was not included. I would not tip for the service when it was very inadequate compared to the other patrons seated near us.

walid Alayoubi: Thank you so much. Staff made our celebration dinner so special with their thoughtfulness and amazing service. Great experience, presentations and food. Love it, will be back!

Robert Lomison: A wonderful evening sitting outside at this French restaurant. The food was above average and plentiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Worthy of its rating.

136 Restaurant: what do users think?

Hans Müller: We went during the week and it was semi busy. From the outside it looks a bit like a normal bar. First thing I noticed was the “fry/ oil” smell from the kitchen ventilation that goes through the restaurant and out facing the main street. Usually the kitchen hood leads to the backyard so that was a bit of a turn off. I am all about details sorry 😅 Friendly staff, the dishes were all interesting and well composed. I kind of just didn’t really like the ambient, the colors (red) and black table, the darkness of the restaurant. It’s a bit casual, the art also didn’t make sense to me. Too many things were distracting from the food which should have the spotlight. Music selection was off and also the same 10 tracks played all the time. I kinda maybe expected the music selection to be a bit more currated and not Amy winehouse.🙄 When you eat it’s mainly about the food but all the other senses also are stimulated. It’s an art to balance all these. All in all I recommend this place because the food is very good and the chef is very sympathetic kind person who is dedicated to his work. You should try it definitely.

Karl Lehrer: Unique experience with more than 10 courses for 125€ per person. Although the chef doesn’t have a Michelin star yet, it is a Michelin star experience. The food is molecular and always beautifully presented. There is a lot of attention to details, very high level. Plus: some courses where divine like the ceviche, duck, cauliflower mousse, squid. The flavours were intense and some association unique. Some meals were too heavy with pork, cheeks and gelatine. Overall, it is a very copious dinner. It is an evening we will remember for a long time. Another feedback for the restaurant: the interior of the place doesn’t reflect the quality and beauty of the chef’s cuisine.

Arno Stenzel: What a great evening. Peruvian kitchen as fine dining - it’s a dream. The Michelin star can’t be far… warm and welcoming atmosphere . Strong recommendation!
Response: Dear Arno, Thank you for your great review. It was a great pleasure for us to welcome you. See you soon and best regards Matias Diaz

Andrea Puiatti: The service and the Sagrantino wine selection were excellent and the environment is quite romantic in my opinion. My wife on the other end was’t impressed by the -artistic- naked women photography. While the food is presented in a original and elegant manner we didn’t enjoy it. I didn’t like two out of five dishes. The whole dinner experience lasted two hours after which we decided to pay everything and leave before the dessert - which was kindly brought to us as soon as possible right before we left. We didn’t like that either unfortunately. In retrospective, the main issue -in our humble opinion- is that the dishes were very different, they didn’t connect, and ultimately messed up with our digestion.

Karim Dernaika: Excellent dishes that vary day to day. Our dishes that we ordered were exceptional and so tasty. I would even say it is Michelin star caliber.

Sven Preiss: Celebrated of my 40th birthday with a party of 15. Excellent menu, outstanding service with personal touch of the Chef. Best Pisco Sour. We had a fantastic dinner!

Lorenzo Rossi: One of the best italian restaurant in Mitte. Food is great, price affordable, with an interesting selection of wines. Lasagna and caponata are recommended. The atmosphere is cozy and quite romantic, and the staff is extremely friendly and kind. They have a fair business lunch offer, with entree, main dish and drink. I discovered it thanks to the app DiscoEat, which offer discounts if you book through it. Bonus: inside the restaurant there are nice photos and artworks for sale.

Francesca Ruggero: Italian and Peruvian fusion, to experience delicate but at the same time tasteful dishes. I have tried this white chocolate dessert which was simply amazing!!! The service has been friendly and professional.

Dark Restaurant Berlin: what do users think?

Fritz Galliani: We had a lot of fun. Being in pitch black was hilarious. But for 90 a head, the food was below average and the wine was…. undrinkable. Also if you want water, it will cost you a whopping 6.50 😅 Also we chose the “surprise” dish. Which was just chicken and vegetables 🤷🏼‍♂️ The show was a bit long, but if you are with good company you’ll have a good time though! An experience to remember.

Nika Belu: Stuff quite unfriendly and super overpriced food and wine for the quality - the food tasted as from University cantina and the wine as 1 € for a bottle from Edeka. For one male we paid 70€ which is definitely a way too much. Basically, they are ripping off people for the “darkness” marketing….

Danai Sofroni: The concept is great but the FOOD WAS TERRIBLE. We actually got FOOD POISONING. This bad. Very expensive poisoning, thanks ☠️ I sent then an email to complain, and they didnt even bother to answer. We paid around 90e per person and food cost them probably around 1e. Good business plan!

Kristoffer Fosse Hanssen: Amazing servers, but the food was underwhelming. We had the wine package, but was served the same mediocre wine to every dish. We left before the last course.

Hoang Anh Vu: I proposed to my girlfriend there :D the experience was just amazing, the staff was very kind at the end one of the employees there even helped taking pictures of us. I have never ever felt so welcomed like in this restaurant. The adventure we had there will be a part of me through my entire life ! I recommend this place for couples as well as friends as well :D The meal was amazing too ! Intricate yet simple food elevated in the darkness. I also have even more understanding and respect for blind people. Thank you again for the amazing time we could have there !

Christina M.: I’ve been to many restaurants and sure thing this one is special! In the front side we had a welcome drink and had to wait around 10 minutes to be picked up. We paid for 2 + wine with every course around 170 EUR. Our waiter was amazing and always there if we needed anything. They got the room completely dark and for hours we couldn’t see a single thing. Food was great and we were totally wrong with our guessing:-) The after show was really well made and amusing. Definitely worth the experience!

H. Olshevski: A very unique experience that offers delicious food as well as friendly and professional service. They accommodate speakers of German and English. I would highly recommend it.

Knofel - Das Knoblauchrestaurant: what do users think?

Meri Ahmaniemi: The service was lovely, food was, as one could expect, garlicky. But very delicious. No big surprises on the menu, everything quite basic, but tasty. We had the garlic bread and the roasted garlic for starters. No big surprises, anjovisbutter was really good. Then we shared the grill platter, which was amazing. Food for two days, chicken was juicy, pork soft and beef filet was very tender and perfectly done, veggies delicious, pretty salty though and the sides were ok, the gratin was extremely creamy. Overall a nice experience, would definitely recommend to garlic lovers!

Bastiaan Franssen: Garlic heaven, very friendly and helpful staff, and they really did their best to show us what is a good choice on the menu. Let us taste also some new experimental food, really recommendable.

Luana M: Good price and super tasty garlic food. Everything in the menu has garlic - even deserts and drinks kkkk

Andrew: Nice place, very tasty food and polite waiters. I would like to come back here again. Thank you!

Chrissy Kerssen: The customer service and staff here are second to none, some of the best I’ve had in Germany, they are particularly child friendly. Upon arrival my son had a colouring book laid out, he got a little special drink and after his meal he got an ice cream cone. The food was ok and the portions absolutely huge, the decor is interesting? I little confusing, it was very quiet, they could’ve done with some music to bring up the ambiance but overall we had a lovely time here.

Jake Levine: If you like garlic, this place is a must! Everything was garlicky and delicious

D.O.: what do users think?

Andres Capurro: Food Quality: food in general was very tasty. Correctly cooked and tasted freshly made. Portions: the main dishes were a good size. In some cases maybe looked like it wasnt enough, but considering you might have some tapas as a starter it will definitely fill you up. Patatas bravas could be a bit bigger and more brava mixed into it but still quite good. Drinks: a nice selection of wines, including the Catalunya region. Also some nice refreshing non-alcoholic cocktails available. Price: $$$ medium range for a full meal with starter, main, and wine. Service: staff were very friendly and helpful. They carefully helped us choose a wine and let us taste a few options. Atmosphere: large tables, terrace available, lots of plants and nice warm lighting. Highlights: the terrace with nice fresh air to enjoy the evening.

Liam H Sheffield: First time visiting D.O and the service and food were of the highest quality. Great attentive staff and would definitely visit again when back in Berlin.

Sabrina Sciandra: Portions are really big despite being “tapas” , specially patatas bravas…everything was in terms of flavour ok but nothing delicious…bread with tomato should be already prepared and i would add some garlic as well…and also for croquetas i would add some additional sauce on top just. 3 tapas for 2 are more than enough

Lorenzo Rossi: A real perk in the heart of Prenzlauerberg. Nice atmosphere, super friendly service, and of course amazing food which is well combined with fine drinks. Yes, it’s not the cheapest restaurant in Berlin, but the quality is definitely worth the price. The pulpo and the croquetas are definitely to try. The desserts are delicious as well. I’ll go back for some special occasion!

Michaela Trestikova: Good food, but really poor and confused service. We had to ask several times about the the drinks we ordered, then we got wrong food and then the main dish for one of us only arrived after the rest were finished with their meals. The waiter then asked about his tip in a fairly rude way. I like the location and the food, but I wouldn’t risk again bringing guests again to this restaurant, the service is simply embarrassing and that is a shame, because it wasn’t like this before.

nafisa ingar: Great tapas restaurant. Really friendly service. Great outdoor space. Delicious food. Lots to choose from.

Edd Payne: Excellent food - the croquettes and arròs negre were the highlights of an incredibly good meal - with a very good wine selection and attentive but unobtrusive service. Highly recommended, we are planning our next visit already!

Miguel Rodríguez: Great dinning experience in Prenzlauer Berg! DO is a well located, small and cosy restaurant. It offers a nice variety of Catalonian dishes, tapas and wines, and the service is really welcoming. The restaurant also has outside sitting possibilities when the weather allows. I would suggest ordering several tapas and sharing them instead of ordering individually.
