Magnus Berg: Excellent service! I’ve rented one of their piano studios here quite a few times. If I had any problems, they were very welcoming and were glad to help and insure me I got everything right. You book through their website and get a code sent to your email on the day of your booking, which you use for the lock on the door. The rooms are fair in size, and clean. The prices are also cheap, and they disinfect the pianoes every day. Next time I’m in Berlin and need a rehearsal room, I will surely book here again!
Anastasia Linnik: The Pianocenter offers a whole range of top-notch services. There is a great selection of new and second-hand instruments to choose from, professional piano tuners, as well as piano rooms for rent. It is also perhaps the only place in Berlin that makes it possible to rent a piano on a monthly basis. The team is exceptionally friendly and always ready to offer competent advice.
Jakob: It's pretty much the only center in Berlin that offers flexible booking and a wide range of piano types to book from. Staff are friendly and pianos are of excellent quality. It's also interesting to see how they create the pianos. It a workshop/shop/renting facilities for pianos. The website is pretty bad on the phone and don't forget your password as they don't have a password reset button, other than that it's a good place to practice and the cost is quite reasonable.

To our surprise we received an upgraded room once we found out that the one we ordered was out of service. ulthoma: If you want to buy a piano, you've come to the right place! A piano shop in a beautiful setting with a large selection at very reasonable prices. The staff is not pushy and advises more on a musical aspect. Overall, the pianos appear very solid and are also sold with a long-term guarantee. A visit is definitely worthwhile, if only to look at the workshop in the basement.
Lei JIN: The big brother is not a very good word person, but this is also where he can be trusted. It's good to briefly describe the most important highlights of the product, the price is reasonable and the service is thoughtful.

The piano sounds great and even if we have the feeling that two keys (even after the first tuning) have something "metallic resonating", we are completely satisfied. What do you expect? Anastasiia Girard: I don't like giving negative ratings and do it only when I consider it can help other people to take their decisions. I had a good experience when renting the piano in the beginning of the process, contract, flexible payment delays, smiling people. Sadly, when it came to the returning the instrument, I was charged a fee without asking me due to so called damages. When the piano was delivered to me, noone explained me that I need to pay extreme attention to it's condition and examine it. But when it was taken back after the rent period has expired - 3 men from the delivery company came to my flat being very much agressive, putting all possible dust "flakes" on the return technical condition sheet, and when I have pointed out that it is just a dust, and not a damage, they have used a magnifying lens to check to any single damage (although noone has done so at the delivery, surprisingly). Finally, the delivery company has reported the damage and pushed me to sign the papers without explaning the consequences, and the shop has charged me for the 2 microholes invisible without the lens with normal eyes, knowing that I wear glasses. As for the origin of the holes, I was told (also not in the nicest manner and quite agressive by the company's representative) that the holes are there due to the missing piano parts and I need to pay for this damage. Well, if only I knew that those parts should exist, I would still imagine that the pianocenter should make sure they don't fall down and inform me about their importance when I was renting it. I should admit that the pianoshop has come back to me with those explainations, at least being minimum polite to inform me why i am charged the additional cost. I don't mind paying for something I have caused as a damange, and am extremely cautious with the things, and was always complimented for the accuracy and attention I put into things. Therefore, this experience is quite painful, and not justified, esp. the agressive treatment I have received from the delivery company and the shop, as if I have committed a crime, accusing me to damage and don't want to pay for it. To conclude, my advise / be very precise and careful when renting the instruments and document any damages, if possible with a help of magniifying lens. Or maybe check other shops, that can be much more polite, cooperative and customer oriented
Response: Thank you for describing your perception. Certainly we could have pointed out even more clearly that someone else's property is handled carefully. It's not ok to rip out the rubber buffers on a new piano that are attached to the top frame with metal pins. This creates holes in the middle of the polyester. The transporters have to note this on the handover protocol and the damage has to be repaired. Our employees and transporters are absolutely professional, on the move without a magnifying glass and very accommodating with normal signs of use. It is a shame that normal communication with each other was not possible. We wish you all the best. René George & team
Piero D'Onofrio: I found in this place kindness and competence. My experience with them has been for piano tuning (three times up today) and they always sent me greatly skilled professionals who gave me good suggestions and complete information on the instrument and its care. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the service. Absolutely recommendable!
Axel Martres: I wanted to rent a piano and they have none til MAYBE January. That's crazy, it's a piano store which doesn't have pianos. Unbelieveable.
Response: Yes, there is currently a delivery time of 4-6 weeks for the very specific piano model you were looking for to rent. It's a pity that none of our alternative offers were an option for you. We think a one star rating due to delivery problems of the manufacturer is unreasonable.
Heinz-Ulrich Weil: My son should have an acoustic piano with a silent function! And due to years of good experience with a Yamaha digital piano, one from this manufacturer. After researching on the Internet, I came across René George's website and made an appointment for a consultation in the shop. Mr George took his time, explained everything in detail, and my son was able to test different piano models. In the end it became the B3 SC2 in white. Mr. George explained to us that he will make various modifications and optimizations to the piano. The agreed delivery date was early August. And now the piano is with us and my son is enthusiastic. I am completely satisfied with the advice and the purchase from Mr. George and can recommend him without reservation.

Miguel Rodriguez Artacho: The story is that I asked for a practise room, as I have done in other stenway&sons house as I have done in London, or Madrid. These guys looked at me from head to feet, and treated me despectedly and behaving rude. I wear pretty casual western and classic. I use Carolina Herrera colony and I had a shower at my hotel that morning, like I do everyday. They just dont want to be bothered by students, and prefer to rest comfortably attending PC games or reading newspapers, but, if you need to search for a practise piano room in Berlin, just forget about Stenway&Sons.

Mirna Mirella: I am a concert pianist and cannot recommend this shop. Steinway is a wonderful brand and I play with D-Steinways at most concerts. But the service in this place is humiliating. Here I had made an appointment the day before and had driven an hour to get there, but the gracious Steinway gentlemen still had no time to offer advice. I was there for five minutes at most and was then escorted to the door by a nervously smiling staff member. I buy my Steinway somewhere else and am just considering whether I like Fazioli better anyway!

João Gabriel Ferrazza Dias: Amazing!! A huge store, full of options! I focused more on the first floor, dedicated to pianos and keyboards, where they have headphones that you can use to test the instruments, and on the third floor where you can find guitars and basses and where they have rooms where you can test the acoustic guitars or plug the electric ones and test it in different amps. They also have a sale section on each floor, where you can find some exclusive deals with great prices. The store is located near from the Moritzplatz subway station, really easy to access. If you like music I highly recommend a visit!!

Gian Luca Baldi: I felt so sorry for a such great shop like that, with a good instruments selection and a good position but ruined by its arrogant staff. I asked for a test of an expensive electronic drums, a board placed on the seat told that by asking to the staff there was this possibility. The reply was terrible: we are not here to joke, this is not a rehearsal room, so you might not test expensive instruments because if you damage them you must buy it. I don't question your policy, but how do you think you could sell mainly expensive stuff if you don't let to test them without being under threat? Are you sure that I can't afford it? Are you sure that I'm a joker and not a musician?

It has a great collection of musical instruments and devices (microphones, cables, amps, Party Equipments, etc.) categorized in different sections. If you are a music lover, know how to play musical instrument(s) or want to learn a new instrument, it's a good place to spend a few hours, part with some money and invest in yourself! Have some fun there.
Екатерина Пономаренко: I am a regular customer of this store, but something happened today that made me give one star to this store. I went down to the first floor to pay for my order. It had to be handed over by workers from the upper floors in order for me to pay on the first floor. I approached a female cashier with red hair and a nose piercing. she asked me if I received my order, I misheard her question, because I'm just learning to speak English and it's a little stress for me, and I answered “yes”. After she gave me the check and said "thank you", I said that I didn’t receive my stuff and she should give it to me. It happens to everyone sometimes, doesn't it guys? After that, she started yelling at me and after the order was handed over by the employees late, she aggressively threw it on my table with a receipt. Please be more careful when selecting employees. This rude person has no place in your store.
Mikdog: Great place, largest music store I think I’ve ever been to. Lots of instruments available to be demo’d. Not sure how Google Maps knew this but I typed in ‘buy Midi Fighter’ and it pointed me to Just Music, and they had a single unit not even on display afaik, for sale. A rare find.

I've contacted "Herr Gustat" several times to get more information about a piano I'm interested in, and he just kept replying with "nice idea" and no details about next steps or details of the item. When I called him, he basically called me a scam because I was calling from outside Germany, and hung up! Was simply trying to buy a model with sentimental value that I could only find in Germany. So rude. What kind of a business is this?

Reluctantly, the 35th {G-Note} key did not work on Saturday morning. After a brief telephone agreement, Mr Gustat offered for Sunday noon an exchange of the defective component by him. The exchange took place in a very professional way. We were particularly impressed by this great service, especially as we live in Hamburg. Mr. Gustat and his team are absolutely recommendable, that includes the transport company Krakowski.

George Langworthy: TERRIBLE!! Low quality merchandise. Horrible customer service. The guitar they sold me was horrible. The A string broke immediately with normal tuning tension. The neck tension rod was defective. They lied about the guitar and then refused to offer a refund or exchange it.

Incertum: Large selection of pianos in different price ranges. A lot of time was allowed during the consultation and I was able to try out many pianos before I made a decision. Everything is reasonably priced and you can be sure that the pianos are in good condition and that nothing is broken on the mechanics. Delivery was also great and I would like to particularly emphasize the piano tuner. An older gentleman who knows something about his field, very friendly and competent, that's rare. A quarter of a star deduction because people smoke in the back room and of course this moves into the other rooms (but the pianos don't smell!). It's not a modern chic store, maybe that's why it fits in with it and I much prefer it to a high-gloss look without substance, just old school. I like that. So all in all a clear recommendation.

Yasmin Muskala: Unfortunately I have to agree with the bad impression. My daughter started playing the piano. Since we didn't know if she would stick around, we rented a piano. On the homepage and in the consultation, the impression was always given that piano rentals were intended for this purpose. All installments and any credits for new purchases were always given monthly. Unfortunately, my daughter gave up playing after 3/4 years. I wanted to wait out the holidays and see if a break would reverse her decision. Unfortunately not. Now I get a cancellation confirmation that gives me an appointment in over a year! That can't be the point of bullying newbies with 1 year terms. This has nothing to do with sound business sense!
Response: Anyone who has signed a contract, no matter what type (e.g. apartment, telephone, insurance and others) must adhere to the contract. Notice periods must be observed for all of them.
Agenda 2010 Abwickeln: The Last Junk Shop! Years ago I ordered an 8-track device, and I got a 4-track device. Didn't want to take them back. The boss is completely freaked out. I went to court and clearly won the case!! They're completely crazy! Of course, the star is only there because you can't post otherwise
