St. Oberholz: what do users think?

Tamara Kokošarević: I can't say there was anything special about the place. I wasn't there to study or work, just to relax and have my morning coffee. I ordered double espresso with cold milk on the side, but it was good, really good, so I came back the next day. If it's close to your accommodation and you don't want anything posh, just to enjoy your morning espresso and some people-watching, I can recommend it. :)

yasmine: the almond blondie is really nice, the quality of the coffee is great, the vibe of the place really encourages you to get some work done, the staff is friendly and they have good wifi. no complaints.

Ece Ozkan: Good coffee and it is remote work friendly! If you are looking for a cofffeshop with WiFi where you can do some work, St. Oberholz is the place. Tried the filter and The Oberholz - which is oat foam ices cappuccino - and definitely recommend both! Especially the second one is pretty unique and tasty.

Nhi Tuyet Vu: Super cool interior design, laptop- friendly coworking space. I’ll give 4 stars if the coffee isn’t overpriced with small portion and quite bad quality. The new iced cappuccino is too sour as normal cappuccino, cold brew is tasteless. I decided to go there just to have a new place to work so I didn’t expect to a good coffee cup but I have to say that I was disappointed after paying and drinking something like coffee flavored water. Prices are around 4€.

Erika Rosen: A nice place with a co-working vibe. Try the iced cappuccino with oat foam! It’s delicious and great for hot summer days.

Matthew Clauson: Never had a hashbrown in a bread. I found it bland. The menu for this croque did not include onions as an ingredient and was ordered by our friend who cannot have onions. Small issue but she could not eat. Small table so had to drink our coffee fast to make room for the hashbrown. At the time ordering we were prompted to pay tip by card PRIOR to the service and finishing of the food. This is not how tipping works. It's rude. Positives: excellent coffee and cappuccinos! Super. Another plus was the (very) small pickle salad which came on the side of the sad potato and cheese sandwich. Waitress was friendly and prompt although could've used a lil help as it was quite busy.

David L: Went here during the evening for a DJ set and tried to order a beer alongside my friend. Instead, the tap ran out splashing foam everywhere and it took them over 15 minutes to set up the tap again. When the bartender filled it up our beers, he only did so halfway with the rest of the glass being foam, and ignored us when we asked to get our full glass worth. On top of that, the beer tasted horrible and was warm. Absolutely terrible experience- there are way better bars/clubs/cafes in the area.

Mayara May: “Great place to work from and the food and coffee are impeccable. Special shout out to the Brazilian guy I think it’s danilo, very friendly and has great customer skills! Def will come back

Tobias Lichtmann: Customer: "A St. Blend, please" Barkeeper: "What?" Customer: "A St. Blend, please" Barkeeper: "I dont know?" Customer: *pointing onto the menu* Barkeeper: "Ah, a filter coffee" (Menu reads "St. Blend"). Customer: *Yes, a St. Blend" - how it says on the menu. Bottom line: Either: Too cool to know your own menu. Or simply: Very little of customer service ... somewhat entertaining.

Margaret Ann: The coffee is okay but fhe food is very overpriced. I used to enjoy coming here ocassionally to take part in fhe Sunday drawing class upstairs... however now the class has been told that fhey will need to pay almost 20 euros per person to be there for an hour.. I'm not sure if that included a coffee or not... probably not... Meantime people sit downstairs with their laptops plugged in for hours and sip on one coffee whilst they use the WiFi. Way to go in losing regular weekly customers! I couldn't think why I would come and drink overpriced coffee otherwise at rosenthaler platz.

The Visit Coffee Roastery: what do users think?

Nhi Tuyet Vu: A very cool cafe with bright, youthful and minimalistic decor. Delicious roasted coffee with very reasonable prices. This is also an ideal place to work or study. Well worth a visit 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Response: Thanks for your kind words :)

minami habu: They have many seats to get a coffee or work, and good meals but sometimes it gets crowded and noisy, and I feel the vibe is a little gloomy compared to other cafes (maybe it depends on weather). Wifi, Study, Work
Response: Thanks for your honesty about your experience. The fact that our coffeshop is pretty big it offers space for a lot of people and sometimes when its full of course it will be a bit louder, but usually our coffeshop is a peacful place to relax or work.

March Hebæk: one of my fave cafes in berlin! staff is super sweet, coffee and matcha is good. the slices of cake are huge!!! you can study and work here for hours, the music the play is good (taste!!!) and toilet is clean. i got a stamp card because i know i'll be back, for sure:--) update: I've been back loads of times by now and i haven't been dissatisfied yet!!
Response: Thank you so much :) Glad all our efforts pay off.

Joerg Schudrowitz: They do know their business. Cool location, cool ambiance, good coffee. That is Berlin. If you are into coffee it is worth a detour.
Response: Thanks Joerg, happy to read these lines :)

Daryl Robson-Gomm: I read reviews saying this place was the best breakfast in Berlin and I was not disappointed! The food is on another level and is so delicious. The coffee is excellent too! We waited in line for a table but only for 5-10 minutes but it was worth the wait. This beats anywhere else I have eaten in Berlin! Perfection!
Response: Thank you so much :)

Alisa Pavliuk: 🇺🇦 I was here one year ago and promised them to write a review on Google Maps because my coffee was unbelievably good 🙌🏻 A year has passed but Visit is still the best cup of coffee in my life ✨ Highly recommended!
Response: Hey Alisa :) Thank you so much.

Patrick Plaggenborg: Full black and white coffee roastery where everything looks industrial and stylish. From the coffee machines on the countertops and the qooker water taps to the sitting area to the staff clothing. Clean and minimal design to make the coffee flavors stand out. Fancy V60 coffee from Peru and Colombia at the moment, and they have decaf espresso. Nice terrace on the inner courtyard as well.
Response: We got the minimal style :) Happy you liked it. Thanks a lot.

Irina Dimova: Lovely place with great coffee and atmosphere The best coffee in Berlin for sure! And please don't eat this dessert with chia, I want it to be mine alone💔
Response: Thank you :)

The BYFFR Company: The best coffee in Berlin and their mango chia pudding is SOOOOO GOOD, and their acai bowl is so fresh and delicious, the staff is so friendly and helpful and the interior is super cozy. Highly recommended.
Response: Much love :) Thank you so much.

Teresa Andrade Pinto: Best coffee in Berlin, absolutely loved it, went there so many times to work, tried almost everything on the menu, super good coffee and food. Shout out to the manager and his daughter, super sweet always!
Response: That is so nice of you :) Makes us happy to read this.

The Greens: what do users think?

Praveen Mehrotra: The Greens is located very conveniently near Spree. Visited with family during an afternoon walk for some drinks. Their exotic drinks are simply superb and organic beer a must try. The indoor sitting area is matching with the title and they also sell plants. Loved this place.
Response: Hello Praveen, thank you very much for your kind words! We are happy to hear that our vision of coffee & plants is coming through and you enjoyed your visit and the experience. Thank you for appreciating our diverse menu and we are happy to hear that you had a great time with your family. kind regards your the Greens Team

Monika Monique: Great lemonade and tasty cheesecake. Service in English, no problems. I could recharge my phone there. A great, green place, giving shade from the heat. Toilets available. One of the very few cafes open on Mondays. Finding the place is a bit of a hassle because it is not situated directly by the Spree, inside there are no views towards the river.
Response: Hello Monika, thank you very much for your kind words and pointing out some specialties we are offering! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit and the experience. See you next time, hopefully? kind regards your the Greens Team

Bruna Garcia: It’s definitely a cute place with a great vibe. I had a coffee and a croissant and both were really good. I want to come back here. An advice for those who will come to The Greens: it’s kind of obvious, but try not getting here close to the closing hours, because you won’t find too many options to eat.

Nidhi Jha: Such a pretty cafe and I love the plants theme. You can also buy some plants here or enjoy coffee sitting in the room full all plants. Coffee tastes good too, its self service so you need to take your own coffee and drop the glasses after finishing off
Response: Hello Nidhi, thank you so much for your kind words and your recommendation. We are glad that you enjoyed your experience hat the greens - coffee & plants. Kind regards, your the Greens Team

Vladyslava Zadorozhna: One of my favorite coffee shops in t lhat part of the city. It is cozy and spacious at the same time. Their cakes and desserts deserve additional mentioning. Even not seeing the place, you can get there just following that tempting smell of the god-baked cakes. The coffee is just great, I've grabbed a pack of beans to make some filter at home as I could not imagine staring my day without that taste. Well, the last but not least, plants... If you are into urban jungle, brace yourselves not to spend your whole month budge on the Greens here, but you must grab at least a tiny cactus per visit, otherwise, living makes no sense 😅

Coen den Haan: A hidden place in Berlin. It's an alley where there's a little bar, a theater and a few other things. It's not a place you would easily come across as a tourist but it's worth checking out. From the outside you have to pay attention to where the door is. Look for the green terrace. This store sells coffee, some tasty things to go with the coffee and plants. The design of this place is nicely done. A lot of standing and holding is used. Besides that, earth tones are used inside the store which is nice with the green of the plants. There are some murals and so are plates everywhere. The staff is friendly and also speaks English. They are also well trained baristas. It's a small place and you have to get your coffee at the bar. You can then find your place in the establishment. We had ordered an iced coffee and a flat white and a brownie. The ratio of the drinks was good and there was a good taste to it. The brownie was really good. Good chocolate flavor but still nice and soft inside. For the rest, there was no music played inside the restaurant. All in all, a super nice hidden joint where you can get great coffee and something delicious.

Benjamin Kryze: The original look of this coffee start from the outside looking like an old industrial place. The inside is filled with plants, writing of coffee and natural facts and draws. The staff is very nice and they serve coffee as well as speciality. Really good place to go.

Henning Dahlén: We came by after 12 and they didn't have a lot of options to choose from but we settled for vegan croissant with tofu mozzarella. They were good. The place felt a bit off, which did come with the upside that it was extremely calm to sit outside, no cars anywhere. Over all good, but we felt like we would have loved a couple more options to choose from (though maybe we came at a poor time). Vegetarian options: Mix of vegan and vegetarian

Coni Marinelli: Nice place to have a coffee and a great moment during the afternoon. Perfect for a break during a touristic walk. Is hidden and the ideal spot for a tasty bakery with plants everywhere. 100% recommended!

Viktor D.: It’s a cozy place with a great vibe! I got cappuccino and a vegan orange cake! Both were super delicious! The prices are surprisingly good! I’d come around back for sure!

Bonanza Coffee Roasters: what do users think?

Justin Shircliff: An excellent cup of coffee. I went with the filter option as it’s always my favorite. The taste was excellent and quite sweet, if that’s your thing. Nice staff and fast service. The bread looked really good as well, and I’m a little bummed I didn’t try one. Just means I need to come again.

Andre: Just perfect. One of the best specialty coffees I ever had on a V60! The coffee was from Equador (as per their suggestion and since I asked for a fruity coffe) and it had already a very nice smell with a balanced taste. The espresso was also very nice. The location itself is in a very charming alley, and the ambience is very comfortable and modern. It is a GREAT place for good coffee at anytime.

Vana Mavrakana: Specialty coffee of really good quality. Quick service. The place closes at 6pm. Inside it is not cosy, but I like the people and the vibe. It is also quiet and outside you get a feeling of escaping which is quite the paradox since you are very much in the city.Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Dzmitry Yudo: Enjoyed our coffees here, a flat white and a filter one. The place doesn’t offer much of desserts/snacks/foods with just a few cookies available. Definitely not the most coziest of the cafes, and a busy one too. The staff are nice and helpful.

Tamara Božić: Beautiful place, aesthetically pleasing. A bit pricey, but it is worth it. Coffee is delicious and the pastries are to die for. It was quite enjoyable, would come back for sure.

Ayşe Nazlı Söylet: Really liking the atmosphere. Interior design is really simplistic and nice, outside area is also very sweet. Coffee is amazing btw. Had a flat white this morning and enjoyed it so much! Not many variety of food but enough for a serene morning!

Robin Metzler: Excellent coffee in Kreuzberg. If you like a quiet space to relax with your coffee come here. It's tucked away in a side street with a big courtyard. Highly recommended!

Coen den Haan: This place is a little harder to find. So keep a close eye on Google and look for the sign on top of the fence. The road sits next to a petting zoo. Then you come to a courtyard where the entrance to the roostery is located. The business is in fact a coffee business, but also the roastery of the coffee brand. The case looks very nice inside. It has a sleek design with lots of wood and steel. There are some plants in the store and a number of displays where products are sold. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is nice and knowledgeable about the product (especially the barista). As soon as the coffee is ready, it will be brought to your table (even if you are sitting outside). The coffee tastes good. A lot of energy has been put into the product. It is, however, a bit on the expensive side. It is not cheap to order a cappuccino or croissant. Finally, of course, the music. This was fine for this place. Twice while waiting to place an order I was about to run the number through Shazam. That says enough. They were chill obscure house beats. All in all, nice place to see and definitely good coffee. A bit on the expensive side but well worth it if you like coffee.

Sergey Mizin: This place has some really cool vibe - kind of industrial interior design and it’s hidden in the courtyard.High quality and tasty coffee with some fresh pastry.Although the place is a bit pricy.

Nhi Tuyet Vu: Cozy and quiet place in a roaster coffee shop where you can smell the coffee beans while enjoying their coffee with modern and interesting concept. Unfortunately they didn’t have public wifi for customer as I found some reviews on Internet that here’s laptop-friendly but the quality is still okay with the prices and service.

St. Oberholz: what do users think?

Cha_r__: one of the best places to get ur work done with a great cup of coffee!! it's a coworking space, but their coffee do taste good. i'll definitely revisit. card payment only, laptop allowed.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Lucas Anjos: This is both a cafe and a co-working space. Staff here is super friendly, coffee is done to perfection and food is also good. I especially like the fact that it's still a place to have conversations with friends, but not loud enough so you can't ready a book or work on your computer. I recommend it.

Sohan Surag: A small cozy place near Rosa Luxemburg Strasse. The staff was nice and was really friendly which is much appreciated. You can buy the coffee beans if you ended up liking their coffee. Went for an Americano and a Cappuccino and really liked it. Perfect for a Kaffee und Kuchen Sonntag.

Where Did Frank Go?: Definitely one of the greatest places for tasty (nondairy) coffee and the best place I've found so far to spend mornings, afternoons working. The wifi is free and unlimited, you can always find sockets, and the people here are friendly. Don't forget to bring your obligatory MacBook! 😄

JHC L: A cool working space with power outlets and WiFi. There was background music that’s for work/concentration, not disturbing, and the general atmosphere was good and quiet the day I went. You can order a coffee or sandwich and just sit down and work or read, but to get a seat in the quiet area and conference room charge extra. Avocado & beetroot sandwich was good.

Tatiana Nadyseva: This is 'little brother' of the big St. Oberholz which is usually overcrowded and a bit noisy. This place is smaller, cozier and in fact is mostly a co-working but you still can get coffee here and work/study.

조경철: Small place to study and only two tables available for customers. For more tables and higher speed wi-fi, you need to pay extra (It’s called coworking space.) The cost to use this place is even too high. It’s so dissapointed since I never been seen this kind of cafes before. And it looks hilarious many local people love this space even though it is a bad example of cafes, and workers are not so kind. No hello, no good bye for example. I don’t know whether their food is good or not. I don’t even want to try it. However, if you visit here to study or work with your laptop but don’t want to spend extra for a weird reason, you better stray far from this place. If you visit here for coffee, I don’t want to recommend this cafe because I saw how they made iced Americanos for me. They don’t make it right front of you. They just pour pre-made Americanos into a glass. It might be because they think there’s no difference between iced Americanos and iced coffee, but it was a weird moment to me and looks not fresh. I also want to say about the size. I ordered large size but got much smaller size than I expected. It looks like smaller than a small size of Starbucks. Please see the photo I uploaded. This cafe is my worst cafe so far.

Fereshte Aboohamzeh: Great place for work or study, has a social table equipped with plugs for laptops and good wifi, the bartenders are friendly.

Julia: The matcha was good but unfortunately that’s the only good point I can make. There’s very little and quite uncomfortable seating and only the tables as far as I recall. The staff was unfriendly and created a very unpleasant atmosphere.

Mary: I like this one better than the other at Rosenthaler (because it isn’t so packed.) The outdoor area is perfect. Good coffee. Nice neighborhood!

Godshot: what do users think?

Koby Ofek: Nice cozy place. Pleasent music. Coffee was a bit too smoky and sweet (oat milk cappuccino) but nice overall. Protein mini brownie is also nice.

Tomás Fonseca: Extremely good coffee and strongly recommend going for the "special" arabica grains when getting one. There are some seats outside, so you can either take out or just enjoy the time there. They also have pastries like croissant that are fine

Go Outside: Great light roast filter coffee and espresso! You can even choose the beans for your drink, so I'll come back to try all of them l! 😁

Talisa Jane Du Bois: Very very excellent offline coffee shop. Medium for service unless the Irish barista is there. But the consistency for excellent coffee makes up for any lack of warmth. And generally the clientele are chatty too.

Divij Vaidya: Cozy seating. Good coffee and ok-ish cakes.

Lucy Al: Cosy place with great coffee, pastry and friendly staff

Emily S: Good café with nice coffee. I enjoyed my special robust cappuccino. There was a downstairs with some toys that my 3 year old enjoyed (although many of the plastic toys were broken - I wish cafés that provide toys would remove the broken ones (sharp edges, small pieces, etc.), although I am grateful when there are any toys at all). The service was good, they took credit cards and there was even a toilet! Win.

Cristiano Pezzati: Coffee is extremely delightful, very pleasant silky texture for cappuccino and pastries are crunchy and delicious, very recommended!
Response: Thank you so much! 🙂

Chirag Shekhar: Decent coffee, a laid-back atmosphere and especially intriguing coffee cups (super, super lightweight). Impressive from the outside and doesn't really disappoint as a coffee shop. Their pastries could use some work though.

Aleksandar Tsvetkov: Located in a nice spot, you can sit either outside or inside. The banana bread is delicious, one of the best I've ever tried. Coffee is good. There is no wi-fi but plenty of stuffs to read.

THE BARN Roastery: what do users think?

Michael C: If this is your first time visiting, I would advise you to read the cards that are located at the entrance so that you can determine which coffee beans you want for filter coffee. They offer a diverse range of options, from cinnamon to jasmine notes, to choose from. The coffee is of very high quality but comes at a high price for Berlin standards. We get one filtered coffee and one cappuccino for a total of 11 euros. The service was satisfactory, but there were no greetings and not much effort put into hospitality. You should come here solely for the excellent coffee.

Angel Nin’s Kitchen: Outstanding coffe! Really-really good. One of the top 3 coffee I have ever had anywhere in Europe. We paid attention to the barista when he was making it and you could realise how good that guy is! The place is extremely minimalistic and with the very down side; NO TOILETS!! Apart of that, happy to have a friend who recommended this place to me. Very strong and tasty coffee! Loved it!

Zoe McArthur: I’m hunting for the best hot chocolate in Berlin - this is definitely up there! 4/5 for the hot chocolate. Sweet but not overwhelming, it’s not a small hot chocolate so you can enjoy it for a little longer.

Marcin Szymkowski: Super nice coffee with tasty sweets. Staff is very friendly.I was surprised there is no toilet for customers! Not sure if this is standard in restaurants / coffee shops, but "be careful" :-)

Nhi Tuyet Vu: I think someone might like this taste of the barn cafe’s roasted bean but it’s just not my favorite flavor sorry. Too bitter and sour and the price is super expensive

ZSZ: Followed it for a while on ins…and tried their beans once in a cafe in Shanghai..and finally…it’s really a good coffee roaster

Anna Shipil: TRUE coffee Good vegan desserts Good design But: No toilets Rude staff

Sonia Ran: Not my favorite coffee flavor, a bit sour for my taste. The nitro coffee was alright. Pastel de nata was tasty. Medium amount of seating inside and out.

Ștefan Alexandru: Interesting design, good coffee, nice staffBe aware you can only pay with card

L denker: €4 for an acidic coffee, no toilets for customers... I like the no laptops allowed as you can relax, the cafe looks beautiful, sadly would not come back.

KleinMein Coffee & Coworking: what do users think?

Wendy Law: Patronizing, condescending and rude owner! First I waited for 10 minutes and no one is there. Finally someone from behind me shouted into the kitchen and the guy shows up. Then I asked him what the menu was, he said to me, “you can’t read what it says up there? I have to read it to you now?” Is that how you treat a customer??!? First the so called “menu” is on the wall and in German. So I didn’t understand what it says and wanted explanation. So I asked for a regular menu. And he was irritated and said, “We don’t have one. We change, we make, we do”. He was completely patronizing and insulting. Also the sandwich displays that would normally be there were not there when I arrived. So I had no way of knowing what kind of food they had available. They are just now putting some of the sandwiches out as you can see in my last photo. It’s too late to retract my order, but I refuse to be treated so unkindly. I don’t know what the motivation is to treat someone so rudely? Is it because I don’t speak German yet? I am Asian? I am a visitor from the United States? The person behind me and subsequent customers were not treated the same way. People and establishments always need to be held responsible for bad behavior. Then I found out that I would have to go to the back of the space and pay a certain amount to use my laptop. I can’t take my laptop out in the outer room. I would have done it if I wasn’t treated so badly. Now I’m going to go to another place. The space itself is nice and it is not crowded at all. It’s early afternoon now on a weekday. It’s fine. The cappuccino was quite good. The food was fine, but nothing special. Will never be coming back again. I am very disappointed by how I was treated.

minami habu: Good place to concentrate on working. Working here, we need to pay 5€/1h, 10€/3h, 15€/1day at least. One cup of coffee is included to all, but if you don't mind some degree of noise, you can find another to save your money. Wifi, Socket, Study, Work

Justyna Komuda: Good coffee with nice service. They have my favorite brand of chai with Tiger flavor. If you want to have different type of milk, it cost 50 cents extra. Interior design is nice in minimalistic style. Right now they are open with coffee and cake to go.

Diana Abdo: Love love! Love this place, excellent coffee, good prices, nice staff 😍

Karl Otto Grunewald: Fantastic place to work and enjoy quality food, coffee and fresh juices. A place with made with love and passion for those who need a rest in the busy city, or a place to work for affordable rates. Great Wifi!!!
Response: Thank you Karl...

Dimitrios: Tasty mousaka. Nice coffee. And card payments possible.

Andreas Chrysopoulos: I was in a meeting when they told me they will charge me extra because I was using my laptop and this is a coworking space. Wasn’t even in the “co-working space”. Which by the way is just 4 tables with power sockets next to them. At least have a reason for charging extra other than what every other cafe already offers for free.

Ranjii Maigur: Very nice cafe that offers a warm and friendly environment. Excellent and unique cafe menu with Greek specialities and great coffee drinks. One of the best co-working spaces available in Berlin. Vegetarian options: The Risotto and Moussaka are excellent for those searching for a great vegetarian option.

Katharina Lisogorova: The best iced coffee, made in pure Greek style. Very cozy place to seat inside and outside. Enjoyed a small talk with barista/owner about Greece and quality of the coffee too :)

Paul Felgentreff: Spacious Grocery Store without packaging and a big variety of loose spices, flour, pasta or tea.

The Barn Café: what do users think?

Triin Roomet: Yes! If you appreciate good coffee, this is THE place to go. The coffee was amazing! I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk, the barista was very kind and they also had some very nice pastries (did not buy but I am sure they were nice!) overall vibe was chill, minimalistic, Scandinavian. There are seats inside so you can enjoy your coffee indoors as well.

Victor Abadio: Food menu is short but everything is delicious. Had the stuffed croissant and the cake. Both great. Also the best hot chocolate I had my stay in Berlin! Creamy and not overly sweet. The staff is incredibly friendly, fast and knowledgeable about coffee. One hundred percent recommend it!

Kadien Kent: Some of the best coffee ive had. Carrot Cake was delicious as well - not too sweet and very moist. Staff was very friendly, especially Sam! Nice decor inside - Less is more! Will come here again!

Greig Stuart Torpey: Lovely little modern cafe, delicious cakes and hot chocolate. A little overpriced but well worth the visit. Staff were lovely and atmosphere was great. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Covid friendly

Hülya Ülger: Delicious coffee, very helpfull & nice staff, beatiful coffe shop, various good quality coffee beans!

Gustav Vang: Excellent coffee, service minded staff, cosy place. You can't go wrong if you actually like coffee without wiped cream-caramel sprinkled-oreo filled-ice frappé. Buy the coffee to stay for the best experience. The Barn are often placed in neighbourhoods with below average traffic, not in malls. On my favourites list

Christakis Psyllides: One of the best coffees in Berlin-Mitte for sure. Very consistent throughout their numerous branches. Loses a star because others provide a great coffee in the area too but also have toilets (which Barn never does!) and food (Barn has very few options and none very fresh). A pity as with toilets and food, Barn would be the best cafe chain anywhere I have ever travelled to.

Addyson Reimer: Had a lovely breakfast here. The coffee and hot chocolate was fantastic. The cakes were wonderful too. Will be back.

Vishwa Vijay Singh: This place is great! Had iced flat white, and loved it so much ended up having one more and buying the beans. The baristas are lovely to talk to and will definitely increase one’s coffee knowledge!

Nikola Todorovic: Excellent coffee (tried an espresso and nitro cold brew) and very polite, patient and knowledgeable staff. The place is packed and yet they will still take the time to explain different roast types and flavors. Highly recommended!

Refinery High End Coffee: what do users think?

Pooja Chaudhary: I read on google ‘best coffee in the neighbourhood’ and I decided to go when I was in Berlin for a day and I was done with my work so I had some free time and I wanted coffee and a really good one. What I didn’t read was the ‘best cheesecake’ . It was actually the best coffee and alongside one of the best cheesecake I have ever eaten. And on top such smiling faces and amazing service.

Juhyun Schoebi: Flat white was quite good and according to my friend, cappuccino was okay. Muesli and scone were delicious. It was a nice cafe with cozy environment.

Emily C: Best cold brew I have had in a while (served with a cute glass straw) — highly recommend. Nice atmosphere, very clean Came for breakfast But they don’t have hot breakfast right now so I had a pastry which was also good.

Bruna Garcia: I was looking for a nice and quiet place to drink coffee around Friedrichstraße and saw this place with a nice rating. Well, I am glad I decided to stop by this cozy coffee shop. I had a Cold Brew, Pain au Chocolat and a cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious. I also experienced a great service. The staff is nice and helpful. I will definitely come back here soon!

Rebecca Lim: Came here for a bircher muesli, sandwich and a black coffee. Great quality stuff, highly recommend! Will take away some stuff for the rest of the day, a pastry and probably a hot choc

hagay isaak: I would put this place in the top 5 coffee places in Berlin.Nice selection of pastries, limited seating is available.

Alexandra Chung: Good coffee but below average cinnamon roll (way too bready and not enough cinnamon flavour) & chai latte (which is basically hot milk)… Would recommend just sticking to their coffee ☕️

Jimmy Aldjah: Nice coffee, had a flat white wit oat milk.Friendly and fast service. Free water available.

Manasi Alexandru Dan: Cozy specialty coffee place with wonderful chill atmosphere and very nice made flatwhites.

Jacob Helbig: This café probably makes the best coffee I've had in Berlin. Not just that, it's at a pretty competitive price! Not just that, but the staff is really friendly and recognized me after the third time or so that I came there. Oh, and the music's great. Come here! Tip the staff! It's an *awesome* place!

An einem Sonntag im August: what do users think?

Moritz Erdt: Such a lovely place. Walked by too money times. It’s really nice there. The atmosphere is great. Especially when they dim the lights a bit later into the evening. Staff sometimes brings you the wrong the stuff but since they are so nice it doesn’t actually matter 😅

Tom Sailer: Honestly, the cocktails are overpriced and the staff should be nicer. I know busy evenings etc, still no reason to be rude the whole time. Besides, those owners insulting the guests here on google is completely crazy, an unsatisfied guest is not a hater and you should not take feedback as personal offence, but as opportunity to improve

Sofia Nunes: Used to be my favorite bar in Berlin and I always had a good time, but last Saturday the service was a shame. It took 40 minutes for a waitress to take our order, they forgot our beers and when we asked in the bar if we could order directly there they said no… we waited more than 30 minutes after making a second order and no one came. We left after 1h hour of waiting for our beers, but they never came. This place already had better days :

Sofia: Service took way too long to deliver our overpriced drinks. We also got served someone elses’ order and they did not have toilet paper at the ladies room until i asked them for it. Also my friend waited over 15 mins for a beer - staff was busy serving themselves shots instead of our orders. When we went to pay they had the audacity to ask about tip, sorry but if you want to be tipped you should also deliver quality service. Would not come back again.

Florian Tschurtschenthaler: Original Berlin Cafe. Everything is ok there

David Mathas: The ambiance is great just like the location. They have a good selection of drinks, but on the the rather expensive side for Berlin prices. I’m giving only two stars mainly because the staff is rather rude.

Aga C: Big place, not too loud music so you can really talk. Dogs are allowed.

toni leder: One of my favourite cafes in Berlin. A very atmospheric spot for any time of the day. During the day perfect for a nice lunch (the burgers are quite different than your normal every day burgers, so it’s nice to have something new to try every time), to chill or even work a little. And night they serve a variety of delicious drinks. Love the interior and sometimes they even have live music.

Youju (youju_j): Such a lovely cozy place! I love that cocktails in the pictures with vanilla absolute. So five stars unconditionally!!Lol (But there is actually a certain bartender in the picture makes really really good cocktails. So If you see the bartender, try a cocktail! You won’t regret. Definitely!:-D )

Monalisa Sarkar: It’s taking at least 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive. It’s not that we ordered a cocktail or something. So late in just getting beer bottles to our table. And then the waitress came with wrong drinks asking if it's ours. Typical Berlin service experience 🤦🏽‍♀️

Aslı Özcivelek: The atmosphere of the space was really great! It has outdoor seating as well and it’s a bit inside so feels more like a patio or a courtyard which is really nice. The inside also has two parts. So it’s quite big. The coffee was really delicious. For the food, I found the menu restricted for breakfast options and it was perhaps too modern for what we were looking for. It was still a very enjoyable time and we liked the atmosphere. Maybe another time of day would have been more suitable for that kind of menu.

Omri Ashkenazi: The BEST breakfast we had in Berlin! We arrived here on Saturday around 10:30. It was a bit busy and we had to wait 45 minutes. The wait was worth it, the breakfast was perfect, excellent staff, nice and very helpful. I will definitely come back here! It is recommended to reserve a place in advance.

esin durmaz: We ate sandwich with aubergine, it was hot pressed absolutely so delicious. Other than that salmon toast was excellent. But French toast’s bread was extremely thick I have found hard to.chew and.couldnt enjoy so much. Porch pork bagel was okay. It was little.bit salty and dry.

Remy Ramade: Incredible Breakfast. Great place to have a healthy breakfast in Berlin in a calm area. Expect to wait at least 30 min before being seated. Everything is perfect, the quality is there and there is a variety of different beverages. I had the avocado toast and it was one of the most delicious I've had so far. Will come back.

Hannah Grech: Great service and even better food. We went there for an early breakfast and they managed to serve us (we were in a hurry) with a smile. The poached eggs were perfection and the coffee is high quality. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any fruit options and we weren’t offered an alternative. One to repeat.

Mark Edmonds: My wife had researched this place before we went to Berlin. I’m glad she did. The brunch and coffee were both excellent. The food was so filling we didn’t eat again until late evening. I had the F.C Benedict which was probably one of the best things I ate during my whole trip! If I’m in Berlin again, I will be sure to be back!

Moustapha Mahmoud: Friendly welcome, excellent service. We had the avocado on toast breakfast, it was generously coveted with mashed avocado, bread was crunchy and authentic, pesto was delicious, the poached egg was good (could have been better poached). The cappuccino was excellent, creamy with a very nice coffee taste. All in all, a must do for a breakfast in Berlin.

Heidi: The coffee was sososo good! Lightly roasted with fruity blend - That’s my favourite! Sadly we just came for coffee this time! Their food and breakfast are voted one of the best in Berlin! We tried to visit again but its fully booked! SO if you are going, remember to book on their website!! Another thing I liked about this place is how it hided in the busy street and you just like walk into a quiet land for the good coffee and enjoy your quality time!

Justin Shircliff: I really like this place, and it seems a lot of other people do too. It was crowded for a Wednesday afternoon. But the filter coffee was balanced and sweet, and the espresso cheesecake (on the waitress’s recommendation) was fantastic. Free Wi-Fi is available as well. A great so to visit if you’re ever in Berlin.

Ozlem: One of the best brunch places in Berlin. I’ve been there several times, and tried many things from the menu. You need to wait for a little bit, but once you are seated you don’t need to worry about the food there.

Elena Silich: Nice place with a cozy atmosphere with a good choice of restaurants. Had a great time there. Looking forward for coming back!
Response: Dear Elena, thank you for your positive reply! Will be glad to see you again!

Jonas Blixt: Really good cappuccino 🙂 in a nice environment away from the bustling city. Well worth a visit

Arjun Butani: Cute caffe, surprisingly good coffee since I’ve not had great coffee in Berlin lately. Love the vibe, the lady at the counter is very friendly. I think she is the owner!

Aleksandra Danilina: Amazing place to relax, drink tee or Glühwein and have a pastry. Inspiring atmosphere both inside and outside 🧡Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Nomad 97: Cozy place, nice atmosphere, friendly Russian speaking barrista. They run different cultural events like lectures and poetry meetings. Enjoyed the lecture on Nefertiti heritage in Berlin. Cakes are tasty, I recommend the carrot cake. Tried their cranberry tea, it’s amazing. Didn’t try the lavender tea as it is with sugar. English menu is another plus.
Response: Hi, Nomad! Thank you for your estimate! We appreciate it so much and always glad to make all our efforts for our clients enjoyment!

D U: Amazing chill place with awesome people! Definitely visit “Creative space in Berlin” and try best lavanda coffee. U will fell in love with this place, bcs it’s definitely one of the most beautiful places in Berlin with special atmosphere. Enjoy;)
Response: Thank you so much! Will be glad to see you again!

Viktoriia H: The place is run by a russian. Many of their russian friends gather there. A lot of ru literature in the interior. Sadly, i realized it after the order :(Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Response: Dear Viktoriia, a lot of Ukrainians, Russians, Jews, Germans gather in our place... and no one divides anyone by nationality here. Our art space, that exists already 5 years, regularly hosts exhibitions of artists from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, USA, France... and they are not divided by nationality either. 50% of cultural projects of the city are organized with the participation of Ukrainians in our space. For teenagers from Ukraine, who fled from the war, we organized art workshops to adapt them to the cultural environment of the city. The last 3 months every Saturday a group of Ukrainians gather in our Cafe for the workshops and networking. So you are welcome again, and if you have ideas, how to contribute to the cultural environment of Berlin, we will always support you too.

Polina Ermilova: Great coffee, cozy atmosphere, Russian Literature - 🤗
Response: Thank you so much! We will be glad to see you again!

Daniel Heffernan: Said they were open but when we walked on, everyone stared at us awkwardly and then they said they were closed. Very rude. If you're closed for a private function, have a sign on the door!

Staseman: Very cozy place with wonderful atmosphere and a smooth-jazzy music background.

Tamara Kokošarević: The service was good, the same as coffee (espresso) and orange juice. The lemon cake was a bit dry, but overall the cakes were good. The place is fine, not too pricey, not overly crowded and fine for an afternoon coffee after a long stroll.

Alona Liubchych: at first the coffee was too cold. then too hot. glasses are super stylish. and half of this glass is foam

Eva Cortado: I was so distracted by the lipstick stains on my cup of tea that it took me a while to realize that the muffin on my plate was not the one I ordered. Needless to say, the service was unfortunate. The terrace is somewhat nice, although it made me wonder whether I should’ve gone to Starbucks instead.

Guy Faux: good coffee. Good locations. Plenty of seats outside

Bel: There r so many cafes in Berlin that u will be spoilt for choice. Saw a lot of branches of this cafe in Berlin. Decided to try it out. Price s a bit pricey compare to other parts of Germany. Had cappuccino. The beans r roasted v nicely. Service could have been better. Service staffs r quite impatient n were on her handy. Maybe have limited understanding in English, though she speaks v good English (for work related only?) Ordered a cappuccino-croissant set for €4.40 n ask if can upsize the cappuccino. Have a definitive YES. So proceed to order another medium sized cappuccino n sandwich a la carte for my partner. Order came out to be separate orders of cappuccino, croissant n sandwich. No point pursuing as there'll be language barrier. With that price, I would go to other cafe for a better service, which could determine ur mood for the start of the day.

lisa kim: Nice coffee. Small coffee shop with outdoor seating area on the 'road' which is closed for bikes. Can get small snacks.

Christakis Psyllides: Decent café chain with consistent food and coffee. Hot chocolate is worth it and a good alternative to the normal Starbucks etc.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Mohamed Shouman: Very good taste and quality of coffee and applestrudel. Nice staff and nice place.

ski doctor: good location to grab a coffee and apple strudel while touring downtown. i found the milch caffee a bit bitter for my taste but the strudel was great.

Agustin Yague: The perfect place for Breakfast of to make a break with different posibllities and very kind people.

Esin Çelebi Bowyer: Beautiful coffee in mitte. We enjoyed our drinks feeling the history and charm of Berlin. In a nice summer day, after walking a lot in the centre this cafe is a great break for us. Surrounded with very old and very well looked after buildings. Stone away from the shopping areas. It is one of my favourites.

Mo Moghaddas: 08.8.2022 The strawberry cheesecake was awesome 👍 04.08.2022 Also recommend the homemade ice tea ✨ 16.07.2022 One of the best cafes in Berlin hands down, in a vibrant and cool area. The staff are very friendly too. I don't recall the names of the cakes I ordered, but both were super yummy 😋 Also really liked the way they served the tea 👏

Jana Levit: Great little cafe. Reasonably priced and smooth coffee. Beautiful tasty treats available fresh on the daily. The cheesecake today was a delight.

Pig Dog cheap: Very pleasant customer service, Coffee is generally great and a sunny terrace. Not lots of large tables or electricity plugs but a good place to get some work done nonetheless.

Irina: For sure perfect coffee that will satisfy even the most exquisite taste. Great selection of delicious cakes as well. Very friendly staff.

Nicholas Chan: Another one of my fav coffee places here in Berlin. A bit on the heavier roast if you like this kind. The cold brew tart was interesting as well! Went very well with the oat flat white.

Sophia Zimmer: Delicious coffee, one of the best Flat Whites I have had in a while. Extremely smooth texture and delicious nutty and chocolatey flavour. The staff could have been a little friendlier but to be fair we accidentally ended up blocking the way for the waitress due to the layout of the café and the positioning of the till (we were a bit confused about where to wait for the coffees at first) and it was busy at the time so that’s understandable. I think they could manage the flow of people / queue a bit better but apart from that it’s a really nice café and they sell their coffee beans and merchandise too. I bought a bag of Santiago filter coffee beans to take home and again really tasty coffee, smooth and sweet with notes of caramel and nuts. Overall definitely recommend!

Paulina Siwak: The woman selling the coffee on Oct 30th 11:30 am has terrible customer service levels. She wrote down the wrong order, changed it upon my immediate request, and still managed to give me the wrong coffee. When I requested the correct one or at least being charged for the one I actually ordered, she refused any discussions. The place might have a nice location but I recommend to give the staff customer service training.

Mia Rogelsek: coffee is okay, a bit small portion for a flat white. please stress to your workers on how to close the cup properly (or leave it open for customers to close it themselves), and reconsider the cups you’re buying. the paper form might be more eco, but it wears off after 15min, and paper starts to break. coffee to-go needs to be safe and practical to use, otherwise it doesn’t make sense!

Go Outside: Great specialty filter coffee and summer drinks!
