Pole Dance 4 You - Pole Dance Berlin: what do users think?

Sophia Ed: Cheap studio but administrative difficulties. [edit after the studio called me to ask for explanations] The studio is cheap (which is a good point). On the administrative level, the communication was good but there were recurrent issues with payments. For instance, as a student, my discount was several times removed without notification. It would be great if there was an automatic reminder to send in proof of matriculation since there is apparently an automatic return to the full fee every few months. An offer to refund the difference between the full and the student fee was never offered. Also, the monthly fee was taken from my account even after termination of contract. Again, the communication wasn't so bad and it was resolved quickly but in the initial listing of what was left to pay, they forgot to mention an open bill for the first half month. It was apparently in my initial contract, but I think this is the job of the administration to make sure such details are taken into account. I do not blame the individual people working in administration, the communication was relatively fast, but as a non-native German speaker, it is difficult to understand rapid-fire German concerning contracts and such. I would think that it was obvious over the phone that German is not my native language and therefore would have appreciated a slower and easier language. This would have helped to avoid certain misunderstandings. Also, multiple calls to ask to rethink my initial comment are over-stepping my boundaries and privacy. Although it did lead me ultimately to a more complete comment, I feel like I was somehow guilted into it. Unrelated to myself is the fact that I've heard of very difficult situations from other former students trying to terminate their contract, sometimes leading to legal advice, blocking of access to bank account, and multiple calls with the Vebrachszentral. Regarding the studio itself, the booking system is not the best: courses get booked way in advance, the number of participants allowed changes over time (sometimes without the trainers knowledge) and it's been the case that many people don't show up for some courses, which is too bad for people who wanted to take the class but couldn't book a slot. For more experienced dancers (intermediate - advanced): there is not so much offer anymore. For beginners however, there's plenty. Courses are also sometimes cancelled at the last minute, has happened 2-3 times to me. Trainers constantly change over time, perhaps this is due to Corona, perhaps not. All in all, a decent studio for a cheap price (compared to others in Berlin) but somewhat a bit chaotic. I hope this comment is now more of the administration's taste. I would appreciate if you only contact me in cases of actual questions concerning payment and contract rather than asking me to justify my review.
Response: This long review shows that the member needed to speak - even if no native speaker German can speak to EVERY member with problems - what a pity that she didn't do that and we contacted her. You should read a contract that you conclude - the proportionate contribution was on the contract. Mistakes are made where people work - we apologized very nicely to the member for ours. Everything is duly recorded in the terms and conditions - you have to read them too. One should be very careful...hearing something and spreading it without expertise will quickly land in a lawsuit for defamation. But thank you at least 3 stars.

Viktoria MoG: Great studio, nice trainer and lot of different classes.

Andrew: Does not allow males to join classes as they are only for women. This is unfortunate as pole is for everyone, not just for women. The studio said they are new and haven't managed to create mens only classes yet but they hope to. Which is something... Better would be to just make all classes mixed and for everyone.

Liudmila Zolotukhina: Sandra is very nice and professional!

Jacob Scott: Poor administration.

Saskia Waitl: Really great pole dance studio, only to be recommended! The trainers always try their best to respond to each student individually and Sandra can always be reached by e-mail and telephone during opening hours and is always friendly and accommodating if you have any questions! I'm super happy with you and my body feeling has improved a lot, the progress is really impressive! :-) Thanks!

Esther Zamani-Achtiani: I am super excited and look forward to coming to training every time! Emails were always answered quickly and I was always able to reach someone on the phone! The trainers are all great and care about each student. You just feel comfortable! For me, this studio is definitely the right one.
Response: Hello dear Esther, we were so happy about your feedback and your great rating and are happy to pass on the kind words to our trainers. If you have something on your mind, we always try to find the best solution. Keep staying motivated. We look forward to your visit!

queen v: I am one of the trainers in this studio for 3 years. Working with Sandra, the owner, is great! Of course sometimes things don't go perfectly for one or both of them, especially at these times, but that's life. There is no such thing as perfect. Of all the studios in Berlin, this one is my favorite. Compared to the other studios, this one is well organized, clean, tidy, everything for teaching and learning is there, dear students, who have a lot of choice between the lessons but also the different trainers. We trainers even have our own lockers, there are two toilets and a shower, which some other studios lack. Sandra is always available, has always supported me as much as possible and when there are things to discuss, it always works. She always tries to offer the best to the students and to make us trainers happy. That's why I'm looking forward to our further cooperation and joint projects. Greetings to all <3

Sarah Schmidt: I just love this studio and to this day I'm grateful that a friend dragged me here back then. The Flow/Exotic courses with Tanja, Milena and Maria are simply awesome. It is so much fun! Thanks to the good training in the technique courses, I make progress week after week and that just gives me so much self-confidence and motivation. The studio is totally informal and I have met incredibly great people here. Thanks!

Anna H: Unfortunately only 2 stars - my personal reasons for this: The quality of the training depends very much on the respective trainer and unfortunately no trainer has been there for longer than 6 months in recent years. There were hygiene regulations during the Corona period, but they were not implemented (e.g. no distance, no verification of corona tests, no face mask in the changing room, overbooked courses, i.e. I often had to share a pole with someone, disinfection after use was only voluntary, ...). During the Corona period, the studio was closed for 8 months and then many members resigned, including me. The period of notice has been extended by 8 months and, despite the confirmation of termination, the fee was still debited even after the membership had expired. I decided on this studio at the time because of the very good ratings, but since I know from the community that many honest and constructive reviews have written in recent months that can no longer be seen online, I can no longer believe the reviews online believe.
Response: Dear Mrs. M Ha Thank you for the lack of rating. If you are already evaluating us, then you should stick to the truth. Fortunately, we have successfully reopened the studio for a year and are wondering why you are now complaining about the Corona situation. For one, the studio had been closed for 9 months!! During this time, no contributions were posted for anyone. An extension of the contract was on a voluntary basis of the member - no obligation! During the Corona period, the participants never had to share a pole. We followed the rule and even made a signboard for all participants. Which you surely missed. We always have disinfectants on hand and have always made sure paper towels are available. Some trainers have been with us for 5 years. We don't know why you're looking for reasons to make business look bad. We are all struggling and very shocked why there are people who want to harm you! Fortunately, the other participants see things differently and are happy to come to us! Our courses are going great and the participants are very satisfied with us. Best regards Poledance4you

Soul Flight Pole Dance Studio: what do users think?

Jessica Slusark: In love with this studio, you have a lot of space for practicing poledance! The poles are very high and it's perfect for practicing climbing and do other acrobatics (especially if you are very tall). The teachers are great, they are really talented and really good at explaining how to make specific moves. Their pole virgin dance classes are perfect for beginners and I would have never started pole dancing if it wasn't for this studio! I would never stop talking fondly about Soulflight, but I would really wish that there wasn't a +7 euro surcharge for USC members on more advanced classes, especially after the addition of plus-checkins feature which makes it even more restricting for booking these classes on a monthly basis (the studio is available only for L and XL members).

Lila Foxton: The facility is clean, fun, safe, and the staff are knowledgable, quirky, incredibly supportive and very patient. They make you feel like you can do it and before you know you are on the pole. If you seriuosly want to learn pole dance you should check out Soul Flight. They have 4,50m poles and plenty of space around it to dance. I've been to a lot of pole studios because each city I travel to I check out the pole studios. I have to say this Studio was absolutely amazing! I loved the way the instructor taught class. It was a great warm up followed by 4 combo moves/tricks. The class flowed great and we accomplished a lot in 60 minutes! Would definitely recommend this studio!

James Hudson: A Berlin institution with 2 rooms, many different styles of classes, and lots of poles. Soul Flight has an equal balance of fitness and dance. You can do drop-in classes, but it's recommended that you sign up for a full 8 week course, to get progressive classes, and have a class performance at the end of the course. The warmups are super-intense. Also has a shower.

Тетяна Муленко: Great studio, amazing trainers, good workout and lots of fun ♥There are all sorts of different classes, including pole dance, exotic (on heels) and different conditionals, like splits or abs&ass workout. There's even a twerking class.

Miky Z: Best poledance studio in Berlin with great teachers and wonderful training rooms. Highly recommended!

Dada Delimustafic: I started training regularly at the end of 2019 and can only report good things about the studio: - facilities are big, clean, have high ceilings and new poles - huge variety of courses: tricks, technique, stretching, exotic dance, twerking, flow... they also change regularly - the teachers are EXTREMELY lovely and superb at dancing and teaching, especially Lily (her classes are a bit tougher, which I love), Mareike (inspiring and mega supportive, a real queen) and Robin (beautiful human and empathic teacher) - the booking system is easy and you can go to any of the classes with the card you purchase, which saves some hassle - the classes start with a really good warm up - owner is open to questions and feedback - it's not a girls only studio, it's not a young only studio... it feels very inclusive and everyone can feel their best regardless of age, gender, race, background - LOVE!

Aurora Moon: My favorite Pole Dance Studio ever. The best teachers and great locations!!

Mareike Mechler: Forever my #1 pole home! My safe haven that makes my soul fly! Highly recommended!

Gaby Wallbraun: Great Atmosphäre and trainers. It's so much fun training there!

Larissa Vieira: Loved the class and the teachers are very friendly and supportive.

Pole Flow Berlin: what do users think?

Fernanda D'Emery: I attended a workshop at the studio and really enjoyed the vibe and the class itself. The place is also quite beautiful. However, the location could be much better. Besides not easy to find, it’s located near several car repair stores, which brings inside some sort of dark dust (my nude knee pads were really dirty after the class, not to mention my legs). Had I known about this before, I probably wouldn’t have booked a class. Even though the environment in the studio is welcoming, the aesthetics is nice and the class was good, I feel better in a cleaner space, so I would not recommend the place for people who are a bit neat freaks like myself.
Response: Thank you Fernanda ❣️

Olivia Amon: Very sweet pole dance studio! Very cool and friendly teachers, you can learn a lot there. Also its a very aware space and very queer friendly :) When you're going there for the first time, its rather hard to find though, so make sure to read the directions carefully ;) Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to learn pole dance on any level, thank you pole flow! <3
Response: Thank you Olivia for your lovely feedback! 💓 We are very grateful and lucky to have you as part of our Pole Family 🙏🏼

Susana Chamorro: First thing I would say about pole flow is that it feels like a safe space for everybody. And when we talk about pole, where u show a lot of skin, with a lot of mirrors, with people around u, is very important that u can feel embrace. There is many people that through pole as in my case, worked like a therapy in so many levels. I started to go to pole flow many years a go, and i am still going there, sometimes 3 times a week and also online classes. There you can learn many different styles from many different teachers which i think is amazing. I am very grateful for the experience that i am getting from the studio and I cant wait to the next class :))) Xx
Response: Thank you so much for your review and feedback Susana! It warms our hearts to hear. We do believe pole can be very healing and we try our best to create the environment for such magic to take place ✨

Annabel: Best Pole studio in Berlin !! The space is beautiful, nice and clean. The team of teachers is super professional, kind, friendly and helpful, a wide diversity of classes- from acrobatics to fun and sexy dance routines, and the studio has really special, inclusive energy. Always a positive experience, Highly recommend!
Response: Thank you so much Annabel! We are very happy to hear ❤️‍🔥

Eva M: pole flow is like a second home to me in Berlin. It’s rare and wonderful to find a studio that is beautiful, full of great classes, but also one that is so respectful of the history and culture of Pole dance. This is not your average “Pole fitness” studio, but one that embraces the rich history of sensuality and dance, as well as strength building via tricks and such.
Response: Thank you so much Eva! 💓

Elise: I can only recommend Pole Flow, I started pole dancing there some years ago and this studio is so good. I love the teachers, the variety of their styles, they all give you very good inputs. Workshops are also tip top (more please !)
Response: Thank you so much Elise! It warm our hearts We look forward to continue dancing together ❣️

Valeriia Melnyk: This is a unique studio in Berlin! It's always clean and comfortable here. Professional and friendly teachers, nice atmosphere. Here I always feel like at home :) Classes are competent, sincere and fun. This is the perfect place for me!
Response: Thank you so much for your feedback Valeria! ✨

hannka: Nice space and trainer but weird location and the beginner course was more like an advanced course. The pole I danced on was also really scratched, dirty and old which is a nogo for me. Overall okay experience.
Response: Hi Hannka, thank you for your feedback! We are sorry to hear you found the beginners course too advanced. We would appreciate if you could email us at poleflowberlin@gmail.com to share which specific course it was. Thank you for bringing the damaged pole to our attention, it has been replaced now :)

Emily Volbert: The teachers at Pole Flow are super sweet, the studio itself is beautiful and you never have to share a pole. By far my favorite Pole Studio in Berlin!
Response: Thank you so much Emily! 💓

kira-lily m: I've been training with Pole Flow for nearly a couple of years now, including the time when classes were online only, and I've always found them to be the best studio in Berlin to train with. There is a great variation of dancing styles from each different instructor, so you truly feel like you are able to learn a wide range of techniques and flairs. The studio is gorgeous especially after a recent renovation and the instructors are super supportive and helpful in class! Would definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking to start pole dance/acrobatics/fitness/etc :) :)
Response: Thank you so much Kira! ❤️

Muse Pole Dance: what do users think?

Julia Zagrodzka: In search for a place to learn pole dance, I came to Muse. I took an intro class with Steffi and I loved it! The class was well structured and entertaining, the instructor spoke English very well, was open to questions and made sure that everyone was following. Also the person at the reception was so positive and lovely, I felt really warmly welcomed and could ask all the questions I had. Thank you! I will surely be back :)

Viv Davis: I’ve been pole dancing on and off for 8 years now, training in various studios in different countries. Muse pole dance really exemplifies what a pole dance studio should be. A place with classes of fantastic quality, regard for safety and fun during practice. Classes are challenging in a way that makes you want to improve and the teachers encourage you to bring out the best in you. I really love the atmosphere there and can’t praise it enough. If you’re considering visiting a studio in Berlin, this is it!

Meghana Jinnuri: All of the instructors are extremely professional, supportive and friendly, the team truly creates the most positive and fun learning atmosphere. Muse has different class offers (heels, choreo, flexibility…)as well as workshops and guest instructors, making it all the more interesting for students. I could not recommend this studio more!!

Sophie Florian: Had a private group course here with 12 girls and the atmosphere, the pace of the lesson and the learnings were amazing! Can only recommend! Both, chair and pole dance possible

Elena Bosalygo: One of the best pole schools in Berlin. High kevel of teachers + excellent location + modern design + always clean.

Ina Sivertsen: Positive: QualityThis studio has such an amazing atmosphere and the instructors are amazing. I took classes with Miglena and Lilli who are so passionate about their job. They are so , technical and very good at explaining during the class. This will be my forever-go-to studio in Berlin <3

Elena Borsellino: I had my first pole class at Muse (about a year ago) and I still go there regularly. The classes will challenge you, and the instructors are talented and very good at teaching. The studio is rather small but it makes for a cozy atmosphere and during class, everybody has their own pole. There's a shop with everything you need and the staff is super friendly. Men are also welcome, which is very nice. ♡

GUIZHI CHEN: Muse pole dance is a very good dance studio, located in the Mitte of Berlin. They have a team of very experienced, professional and skilful instructor in the studio. I have been taking the class here for nearly a year, and I have improved a lot of my skill and dance routine, from a total beginner to Level 2 within 6 months. They create different pole choreographies that are suit for different levels. Instructors are very patient to teach and taking very good care of the safety of each students. The decorations of the studio is very enjoyable, clean and artistic. I really enjoy dancing here.

naomi sh: This studio offers a variety of interesting and intriguing classes, suitable for every level. The team is great and they help you with whatever you need and the teachers are highly skilled and professional; they guide you through your development in every aspect 💓

Jennifer S: Positive: Professionalism, QualityBeautiful studio (the gold-coated poles that are screwed into the ceiling are such a nice touch & the lighting is perfectly set up to flatter!), multiple professional and capable teachers, teaching available in both English & German, multiple levels and styles available, very central location. Studio owner is charming.

Poledance Schule Berlin: what do users think?

Max Black: I booked a class via USC and no one was at the studio. We were multiple people waiting - their schedule on their website is not correct and we could not reach anyone when calling their telephone number. What a waste of time!

Miss Kiki: Wonderful place , great environment and Its really fun

Luci Fer: Stay away! Horrible place

Michelle Heyer: I actually think the trainers are great, even if the level of training depends a bit on the person, but actually everyone I had was super nice and professional. If you are empty of courses, the training is really great. In my opinion, the biggest shortcoming of the school is the overcrowded student courses where three of you share a pole. Unfortunately, the learning effect is hardly there and above all: I got Corona straight away when the course was full with 20 people. :/ In my opinion, this simply poses a security risk, so it is also de facto of no use to ventilate the room at the beginning. If the courses are no longer completely overbooked, I can recommend you with the warmest heart.

B: I was at the stretching class today, which according to the plan and booking should go from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.... Well, we were only let in at 8.31 p.m. and the course started much too late at 8.42 p.m. We were then said goodbye at 9:20 p.m. If that had gone through a 10-time penalty, there would have been a lot of protest. I was also very disappointed with the content. For me it had nothing to do with a proper stretching class. And yes, I've been to other stretching courses and I have a comparison. What we did today was a bit of circling and what was stretching was held for a maximum of 10 seconds. I don't know what the goal of this course was supposed to be.. but it didn't even come close to light yoga. Since I achieve more at home alone .. very very sad!

Konsti: Unprofessional, courses don't take place even though you have paid and you are also brazenly lied to

Vici Anders: A super nice studio with wonderful trainers. My happy place, I love it

Pole Gym - Berlin: what do users think?

C G: I tried to book some free training without instructor in this studio but it took a very long time as they are barely answering emails, which makes you waste a lot of time. I finally, after insisting, managed to have the information that they would charge me 10€/hour, that finally turned into 60€/hour when I asked to confirm the booking. The owner is unfortunately very rude. The owner answer down there is also quite hilarious... It's a pity having to end up with this kind of lies to cover up yourself when I have ALL our emails conversations showing not only the absence of answers to several emails but mostly your rudeness, that I'm apparently not the only one who had to deal with. You having no other choice but to making things up is quite something.
Response: Hello C, thank you for taking the time to submit your review. We answer all emails within 24 hours. We have also answered yours during this time. Unfortunately you didn't make it clear what you wanted to book, so I sent you the link to our price list. After that you got extremely rude and I asked you to step away from our studio as we have a very pleasant clientele and we want it to stay that way. Kind regards Steffi

Maeshyl Sia: I love Pole Fitness because it boosts more self confidence , streng and flexibility to oneself. It also serve as a bonding moments with me and my daughter . When we moved to Berlin last 2017 , we found a Pole Studio that suits well our needs from good price ( lots of options to choose from : price friendly too especially for students and jobless or Housewife like me ) accessible location (near SBahn and Ubahn ) and well trained trainers that is professional and friendly . Our week will never be complete without a session at Pole Sport Berlin . We became stronger and more flexible. I love it that every course or level ,each student has a hand out module wherein their progress in each class can be monitored .
Response: Thank you Maeshyl, we are happy to have you and your wonderful daughter in our classes :-*

Cristina Padurean: The perfect place where to try all the arial/pole sport .Very nice gym,big space, clean. And the best part are the teacher that are very cool ,have a lot of energy ,patience and speak also English. For me was love at first side ☺

James Hudson: A bit further out, but worth the trip: a huge warehouse-style studio with 2 rooms and lots of poles. The studio is more focused on pole fitness, and also has aerials.

321gengen: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueSteffi is amazing! Very professional, extremely welcoming and always so accomodating especially with my limited German! Vielen Dank :)

Atropa Belladonna: I can only recommend the Pole Sport Studio to anyone who wants to finally immerse themselves in the pole world! The trainers are great, the offer is varied and at the same time coordinated in such a way that you can learn all the necessary skills that are needed for pole. In addition, the relaxed, family atmosphere is truly unique and I couldn't think of a better place to start pole. Humour, sweat and a recurring surprise at what you can do with your body. Sign up and get started!

Valeska: Super great studio! Can only be recommended! Have been doing pole sport at Steffi for a year and have not been motivated to do a sport for a long time. Absolutely competent trainers, very open and warm and personal. In every training, attention is always paid to who has what wishes, the training progress is documented and consideration is also given to different levels. You always go home in a good mood!

S Rososchu: The studio is just super nice, big, bright and spacious. I felt good from the start! The trainer Steffi is super nice, takes the time for each individual and explains new exercises with a good dose of humor :) Aerial Hoop is also great, Emily teaches in English and you can tell her years of experience in the field. In general, progress is made super quickly because there are a limited number of places on the course, so there is time for each individual. So far I have not seen a comparable good studio :))

Stella Berger: Last weekend we took part in a JGA pole dance course at Pole Sports Berlin. Despite a short-term request, it was possible to get a trainer. From the inquiry to the end, the contact with Stefanie and the course leader Vanessa was extremely friendly. Emails with questions were responded to quickly. The course took place in beautiful premises, where we were also warmly welcomed. I'm really happy to have done the course with Pole Sports Berlin as it was just wonderful for everyone. Thanks alot! A great course, the content of which was tailored to the level of the participants at absolutely fair prices. I can only give an absolute recommendation here. Many greetings Stella
Response: Many thanks dear Stella, we also had a very nice time with you :-D Greetings to the bride xx

D. Walden: The studio is super beautiful, one of the most beautiful pole dance studios in Berlin. The courses are well organized, not too crowded, so that every student can learn something. I have fun here every hour. The only disadvantages are the rather high prices (but this is unfortunately normal for this sport) and the location / accessibility. It is certainly not a problem for someone from Reinickendorf to come in, unfortunately it takes a long time for people from other parts of the city. From Kreuzberg 50min, from Zehlendorf 1h 30min ... But it's still worth it!
Response: Hello dear Dyveke, thank you for your kind words, we are very pleased that you like it with us.

Drehmoment Pole Aerial Dance: what do users think?

Daniya Dölling (Iaksubaeva): Dear Drehmoment, you are the best. From the very opening of the studio I'm in love - had a long break from the pole, but missed this Studio so so so much! Thank you Alisa and Johanna - you've created a beautiful place. I've been to some other pole dance studios closer to my home and also in other countries, but nowhere I felt so wonderful as at Drehmoment. Highly highly recommended! Love you so much, thank you from my heart.
Response: Thank YOU, dearest Dana! Our hearts are full from having beautiful souls like you in our four walls. Thank you for blessing us with your presence. Also, poles are very patient, haha. The pole has missed you too!

Kat D: Amazing studio with a team of talented, supportive teachers. They all love what they are doing and as a student I can feel that. The atmosphere is very cosy, you can feel like at home. They offer a variety of courses and are flexible (you can change groups) so it’s a good option for people who don’t have regular working schedule. Majority of classes are on static poles. The lessons are well structured with a decent warm up containing a lot of conditioning exercises and they always teach you a nice, short flow but also allow a lot of creativity so that you can find your own style. They also organize events like workshops. I have been going to the studio for a year now and I am happy that I found Drehmoment because two other studios I tried before them didn’t have this atmosphere or such a good lesson structure which didn’t let me learn as much as I did with them. The location is also well connected by public transport and if you are coming by car, it is easy to find a parking spot right next to the building. The only minus is that you can get addicted to pole dancing there ;)
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words, dear Katarzyna! We‘ll always keep on working hard to keep Drehmoment your happy pole place! ♥️

Sarah P: Nice and lovely studio. You can see how much effort and love they put into it! The staff is very nice and they work hard. Alisa is a very good instructor (but I think the others are just as good as well). The studio is very big and you have a lot of space to move around. Definitely worth a visit. Or maybe even a few more ;)

Giulia Rota: So far, the best studio in town. The teachers are very skilled and pay really attention to the students and their health. Safety first, together with fun. Alisa, the founder, is really passionate and dedicated: she keeps on inviting professionals and going to trainings to share knowledge and experience, giving to her students a great and valuable offer. The studio is clean, well organized, classy, and with a comfortable relax zone. Definitely it worth a visit if you are in town!
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words, dear Giulia! It‘s a pleasure to teach people like you, and we‘re very happy you‘re sharing our love for pole and movement with us!

Jessy “Drya” Halison: One of the best pole studio I ever visited. And I tested quite a lot, between Paris and Berlin since I started poledance! What you will find there: - If you're not comfortable with german, a teaching in both german and english! - The chance to attend awesome workshops by international stars, always in order to extend your movement vocabulary and better understand your body. - This policy: 1 student per pole, no more. Security and good attention to every student guaranteed ! But also a safe space, with room to grow, improve, discover and learn how to love yourself and your uniqueness from the start. You will find there awesome, competent, very passionnate and vey highly teaching skills teachers. They have at heart for you to better understand not only pole dance but movement on its own. You will learn to fully own your body, understand what part of it needs to be engaged, why, how, in a safely manner. Having a past full of injuries linked to pole dancing (like... a lot!), this is the first time in my life I was able to pole during almost a year without being injured a single time! A large part is given to dance, improvisation/freestyle to discover what defines YOU, your movement, your dance. Thank you Alisa and Johanna for bringing us such nice space and for helping me be a better dancer!
Response: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this extensive and very kind review, dear Jessy! We are very touched and grateful for the motivation you give us to be better every day. Thank you for letting us be part of your incredible development! ❤️

Cindy Schneider: I am so happy that I found my way to Drehmoment more than 1 year ago. What you are getting there? Very professional pole classes, a huge portion of self-confidence and self - consciousness, a very welcoming atmosphere, meeting so nice and pole addicted guys and gals there, the chance to discover that you are able to fly ;). What you are giving after a pole class? If you want or not: at least a happy smile Many thanks to Alisa and Johanna!
Response: Thank you so so much, dear Cindy! You make us smile every time we see you, and we‘re proud to be your pole mamas! ❤️

James Hudson: A comfortable pole nest in a relaxed outer suburb of Berlin. You can grab a protein shake at the bar and chill in the lounge area. The studio is light and airy with 7 poles (and a policy of 1 pole per student). The school has a close relationship to the Lupit Pole company, and the studio is constantly being upgraded with new pole technology. You can try out the latest poles before they have even hit the market elsewhere. The teaching style places an emphasis on solid fundamentals based on movement science, to provide a safe and strong basis for development; flow, correctness, and aesthetics before tricking. Entrance is opposite Aldi.
Response: Thank you so much for your review, dear James! We always strive for even better methods, technologies and even more comfort for you and our other students. ❤️

Slava Popov: I am very thankful to Alisa Saric for her invitation to her one Year anniversary on 11.02.2017 of her amazing Drehmoment Pole Aerial Dance Studio. It was such great atmosphere and an outstaying show. Around 200 people could enjoy an special show performances on Pole as well as floor Choreographie. Such a creativity mussed be seen.. I am so lucky to have this chance!!! It was also not my first time in this huge and exceptionally equipped studio, which is always perfectly clean. Its such a pleasure to give my HBC WS there. Alisa takes care of each and every one of her clients and works for the progression in a safe, healthy and efficient way! Bravo Alisa.. Highly recommended. Sincerely Slava Popov

Anca Barsan: There is this teacher in college that is captivating the room once he starts talking.he is so passionate that you can feel and imagine what he is saying and you start learning and loving his course without knowing. This is what Alissa has done for/ to me. Not only that she is a great teacher and a beautiful human, but she has the power to transmit her love for pole through words and movements. At the end of a course my body thanks me and i leave smiling.
Response: Thank you so so much, dear Anca! I‘m really touched, and your words motivate me to work even harder to make you have a great time with us. ❤️

Lucie Höhler: Love love love this place. Wonderful passionate teachers that absolutely know what they’re doing, always look out for your safety, progress and most of all, joy of dancing! Very beautiful studio and perfect training conditions 👌
Response: Thank you so much, dear Lucie! We‘re always happy to teach and work with exceptional students like you. Thank you for your trust! ❤️

Poledance Studio Redlight Dance: what do users think?

Victoria Anders: Amazing studio with great and always happy trainers!💕 The studio offers tons of different classes and you’ll learn a lot and – most important – always in a clean and correct way according to federation regulations, taught by their (world class) trainers. Or you can book a room for free training to do some tricks on your own. It‘s one of my happy places 💕

A Million Miles Story: Nice studio with many poles and enough space between each person. One negative thing, which is the main thing that makes me don’t like the classes here is that, the warm-up in each class takes way too long. Once I was in the class that took 45 mins just to warm up. Untill then my body was full of sweat already and that was hard to be on a pole. Maybe this place is good for ppl who want to workout, but not for ppl who want to concentrate on the pole.

Fleur A Private: The most fun power training work-out with great motivating teachers. you are really prepared to handle the pole using your strength in addition to sexy moves. don't go here if you just want to do body roles, this is a real workout session.

Laura Beltran: I'm super happy with the classes at the studio. Everyone is super nice and I'm learning a lot!!

Sophie_Oh: All team members are super friendly and always make time for questions or conversations, whether before or after training. All trainers know how to motivate you so that you sometimes exceed your limits. I always enjoy being here and will continue to come to train here.

Cindy Hermenau: We had our JGA yesterday and got Leni as a trainer. She is full of warmth and kind-hearted ❤ I was embarrassed about my figure and she spoke well to me and the others, so that we immediately felt comfortable with her. After 1.5 hours of training, a wonderful little choreography came about. I can only recommend the dance studio and think that I will do another course. Thanks for everything Leni💙

Lisa Lange: The studio is simply the best I've seen so far. We always train in the evenings with Vice World Champion Polesport Master 40+ -> Wiebke. With her inspiration, her contagious positive nature and her breathtaking performance, she is not only one of the best teachers for us, but also a world champion for us in our hearts. If she shouldn't be there after all because she's going to competitions, she's very well represented by great pole stars like Olga. I have nothing but good things to say about the organization!

Lilly M.: I just love this dance studio. The trainers are so nice and patient, huge course selection, 4 rooms on 3 floors and you always get super fast a reply to mails and calls! I have been here for over a year and still very satisfied. I can only recommend. :)

Josi Crause: We were there a few weeks ago with a JGA for a 2h workshop and had the fun of our lives!!! Great studio and an incredibly great, committed trainer who responded to all wishes. Everything went super uncomplicated and the bride was overjoyed. I highly recommend the studio! (:

Carla S.: Great studio and nice trainers. The hour consists of warm-up, strength training, stretching, then it's on to the pole. In the pole dance course, a choreography is gradually developed. In pole fitness, the focus is on the individual tricks on the pole. There is a performance twice a year in which the students show what they have learned over the year.

Cindys Pole Dance/Sport: what do users think?

Nicole Zip: Cindy is a wonderful trainer who responds to the individual needs of her students with a great deal of commitment and sensitivity. Whether in private lessons or in pairs, you always feel well supported and can train perfectly adapted to your own fitness level. For me, the flexible opening hours are a big plus, and the pricing is very fair and transparent. So I finally found a sport that I enjoy and that motivates me in the long term. Everyone should try a pole trial lesson and see for themselves ;)
Response: Thank you very much for your review 💖 I always have a lot of fun with you 💪

Andreas Bierbach: At Cindy's Pole-Dance, located south-east of Berlin, highly committed and very ambitious personalized pole dance training is offered in single or double lessons at flexible opening times and absolutely fair prices. The owner, Cindy, is a professional and empathetic trainer who, with a lot of patience and easily understandable explanations while taking the necessary safety precautions, gets the maximum potential of physical performance and dance expression out of her students. It doesn't matter whether beginners or advanced students attend the lessons, everyone is equally welcome here and is gradually introduced to the demanding training. The fun and variety are never neglected and own ideas are gladly integrated. My wife has been training with Cindy for almost 1 1/2 years now and was completely inexperienced when it came to pole dancing. At the beginning there were only a few increases in training, but with Cindy's continuous support, small successes are regularly added and the sequencing of individual progress always creates new motivation to continue training. If you want to achieve the perfect combination of music, dance, acrobatics, strength and endurance, this is the place for you!
Response: Always nice when your wife is there. It's great fun to train them. Thank you very much for the great rating 💖

Jennifer Bayer: I've been training with Cindy regularly for 5 years and I didn't expect to be able to do what I can now :) Your teaching is technically top-notch! She develops individual training concepts that are perfectly tailored to her students and responds wonderfully to the personal ideas and training goals of the people. In addition, she is a great person with angelic patience and her heart is in the right place! Anyone who appreciates professional and human qualities in equal measure is in perfect hands with Cindy :)
Response: Such kind words, thank you very much for that🤗 it was so much fun with you, I miss it💖

Marina Schermer Lemenovskaya: Cindy's Poledance - great dance school, lessons are very interesting and also well structured, with easy and difficult elements in alternation, that really gives a great basis, strength and desire to continue and get better. And with Cindy's competence and patience it can be done)). Can only recommend. Thank you very much 💖
Response: Thank you very much, dear Marina💖 see you soon 😉

Nicole Guensche: Cindy is an absolutely great and patient trainer. Each training session is individual and she always has tips in store and you are always pushed. I really enjoy this sport.
Response: Thank you very much, dear Nicole💖 it is very nice that you are still with me and hopefully will stay for a long time 🤗

Parian Golchin: She is very patient and can teach very well. You can learn a lot from her in a short time. Thanks a lot!
Response: Thank you very much, dear Parian 💖

Le Chat Noir Berlin: Pole, Aerial & Theater Kurse: what do users think?

Julia Zagrodzka: In search for a place to learn pole dance, I came to Le Chat Noir. There was no one at the reception so I had to ask around to figure out where the changing room was, that I had to leave shoes at the entrance etc. The instructor was friendly and the class was interesting, although I did feel lost at times (it was my very first time ever doing pole dance). Unfortunately, there were as many poles as students, which meant that the trainer had to take the pole of one of us to show tricks and poses. Maybe I was just unlucky, but as my experience was not so good, I decided to not continue learning there.

Swetha Vivek: I love them. Sometimes we are overbooked and need to share poles and hoops which is why I took a star off. Else, the trainers are absolutely amazing and I always have a great time here.

Alla Kiperman: I've discovered this wonderful studio in the hearts of Schöneberg in the summer, and after having been to many different pole studios, I can say that this place is an absolute gem. The variety of classes offered is unlike anything I've ever encountered before: from pole acrobatics, to aerial hoop, to theatre improv classes and stretching!!! Its a wonderful compilation of dance and theatre under one roof. The instructor is very friendly and professional, and will encourage you to try new things with grace and flare. Highly recommend this studio!

Elena Kiperman: Positive: Professionalism, QualityLovely studio space, great variety of classes and passionate and friendly instructor! The place to be for all pole, aerial and theatre lovers, or for anyone who wants to try something new!

J. Renx: A very friendly pole studio, which offers a variety of different classes

Engin Altinova (The Filming Engine): Great teacher and class. Really enjoyed warm up and cool down phase...good for flexibility and core strength.

Sarah Kirchhecker: Nice studio with a very nice, competent teacher. I've been to Pole, Aerial Hoop and Improtheater. The courses are really fun and well structured so that you learn a lot and make progress quickly.

Carina Zimmermann: Great courses and great educators/instructors. Thanks to Sabina :-)

S. M.: Really great studio.

Delia Ha: Great studio where you are individually supported in your goals.

Redlight Dance: what do users think?

Luci Fer: Shity attitude, shity instructors, shity rules, not professional. There are so many studios in town much much better..

Isa Katz: I was with a friend there. At first we couldn’t find it and called - the teacher, Christina picked the phone up - almost immediately and explained us the route to the studio. She was very competent, polite and caring. Our class was well attended but Christina managed it to check on everybody. We will come back - Thank you!

Lydia Desch: The little sister of the studio in Wedding, but no less beautiful. There is a dance room with bars, dumbbells, mats and other equipment. The courses are very individual with only a few participants. The training is always a lot of fun and consists of a strength, stretching and choreo or trick part. On certain occasions, the participants can demonstrate what they have learned. With an exam you can advance to the next higher level.

Sabina Ibragimova: The trainer is great! She explains everything very well!

Lilly M.: I usually train in the other studio in Wedding, but I can only recommend this one. Good location, in the middle of Charlottenburg, the studio was very clean. Lessons in small groups, the trainers give great attention to each individual. Many courses and open every day!

Josi Crause: I was given a voucher for personal training with a friend. We are complete beginners, but still had a lot of fun and learned a lot in a short time. In the meantime I've also done a JGA workshop there and will definitely come back soon! I can only recommend the studio and Marlen as a trainer! (:

marie schneider: You have to like it, but then it's great. I'm a fan!

Nikolay Nachev: Top. my girlfriend likes to go here and I'm happy about her progress.

Rachel Riesner - Marriott: Great teachers small class sizes. So much fun learning new dance styles and pushing my fitness further. Online courses also available it's always so much fun to train here. The trainer's know how to push you so you continually make progress I've developed so much since I started coming here. An absolute full body workout! There are burlesque, twerk and other classes offered not just pole. Burlesque is a style of dance every woman should try once in their life.

Geetanjali Kakar: Gem was an amazing instructor! Made us feel confortable from the get go! We attended as part of a bachelorette group and there was plenty of fizz and great music. Everyone I liaised with in the build up was very accomodating, kind and helpful. Can't recommend enough!

Gem Harris: What a wonderful community to be a part of! I came to my first pole class a month after moving to Berlin (and speaking no German!) and was taught by the gorgeous Becky, who is not only a FAB teacher but also speaks perfect English, lucky for me! Fell in love with the place immediately and 2 years later I have become a regular at the studio and even performed on stage at their showcase! Cannot recommend enough, a warm welcome, new friends, and a whole lot of fun awaits you here! :)

Lady Lou: Beautiful location in Berlin, warm welcoming atmosphere, a special and safe place for people to explore their sexy side and have fun!

Dani Sánchez: Spend a great night at the club Engels and especially with the spectacular Priscilla with that Spanish accent 😍😍😍😍

Sasha skay: The best studio !

Elli Gorka: I have been visiting this studio for years and I am so amazed after each visit. It is very informal, very individual due to small classes, very warm. The studio is lovingly furnished and you just feel good. No matter how the day was, you always leave in a good mood after a visit to the beauty dance.

Aleksandra: We booked a pole dance trial lesson at the Schönestanz Berlin Studio as a surprise for our friend's bachelorette party and were super satisfied! The course was perfectly tailored to our abilities, the choreo was a lot of fun and the ambience was just perfect. Gem got us all excited about pole dancing :-) We'd love to come back and highly recommend the studio!

Marika Sauckel: Pole Embodiment course by Yara Mar: Embracing yourself and the poles, feeling earth, sky, inside and outside, finding the center, being present, occupying space. And so let the dance flow and give the oppressed soul an anchor again. Thank you Yara for this healing lesson in perception.

Mrs. SNPL: Not just "just" a beauty dance but a lot more balm for the soul !!! I got this wonderful burlesque dance course (kinky cats) from one of my dearest friends for a birthday and what can I say, this year it was by far the best gift and the most beautiful experience ever! The enchanting course leader Lady Lou is a fascinating personality who knows how to convey the joy of her work with dedication and passion. She designs the two-day course with so much charm and seductive humor that you can quickly take off the initial inhibition and after a while you can let yourself completely fall into your role as seducer. In addition to their good quality work, the personal discussions with women, the exchange, the motives and the topic of empowerment in particular moved me and motivated me most of all. I can only recommend this course with Lady Lou and already know that I will continue to attend it. Maybe you will meet each other :-) Thank you Lady Lou for making my day and releasing my inner p *** y cat MEOW! ❤

Alessandra V.: The studio room is wonderful with a nice mirror and beautiful plants, where you can take nice photos and videos on the pole :)I took a private class and Viktoria made the class interesting, according to my level and also fun 😊
Response: Sweet, I have now one new plant here <3 And more are coming. It was lot of fun with you & you are very strong and sporty. Looking forward to see you again.

Bibi Bear: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueVery good teacher 😃

Maria Müller: I've been training with Victoria for a few months and it's a lot of fun. I could see great progress in a short time. Victoria is super friendly and motivates me with her positive way of always pushing my own limits. She creates a great atmosphere with every training session and I never feel overwhelmed or underwhelmed by her, rather she tailors the training very individually.
Response: Super nice review from you <3

Minadora Lukas: Private lessons with Victoria are just what you need, whether you are advanced or a beginner in pole dancing. She notes every progress and has a concrete plan how to advance to the next level. We always warm up first, have a chat and then we go straight to the pole. She shows how to perform a pose, explains the technique and gives tips. She knows exactly what she's doing. It is so much fun. I can only recommend Victoria to anyone who is toying with the idea of starting pole dancing. It's hard to learn alone at home because technique is everything. The hours are fun. You make progress and learn new characters every time. The feeling after training is just the best. Thank you very much!

Devilgirl 666: I started pole dancing at Viktoria a few months ago and am really enjoying it. She is patient and kind and the lessons are always varied. You learn something new every time. ^^ I can only recommend the lessons with her!
Response: Thank you so much <3 You've already reached the second level! Great job!

Myrjana Zierke: I recently started at Viktoria and I'm thrilled. I really enjoy it. She is always in a good mood and manages to motivate you, despite the pain 😉. Worth it
Response: I'm very happy that you enjoy it <3

H T.: A great experience that I highly recommend! I started from 0 and thanks to Viktoria I'm making progress. She is very patient and professional. It's really fun to train with her!

Kristina Gehl: I became aware of Viktoria through her great website. I didn't hesitate and just texted her. A short time later I was with her ✌️❤️ I started pole dance / splits and twerk. What can I say? I never thought that I would make such good progress. Viktoria put together a program for me to do the splits. In just under 2 months I came down almost 15 cm 💜. Her workout is really awesome and energetic. She manages to inspire and motivate. I am more than happy to have met her.

Black Diamonds: I've been to Victoria for private poledance lessons a couple of times. It's always a lot of fun. Viktoria always has great tips for me. I love the cozy atmosphere in the studio and am looking forward to the next time.
Response: I am also happy :-) have already prepared a couple of new beautiful figures for you ;-)

Mari Anna: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been training with Viktoria for half a year, twice a week and also at home on my pole. I'm happy about my progress. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Boogaloo TanzStudio Prenzlauer Berg Berlin: what do users think?

Daniel Khremkin: The studio is a bit small, but teachers manage to create a nice welcoming atmosphere so it was really fun. I did pole dance for the first time and I really loved it there.

Sophia Ed: Instructors are good but bad organisation behind it. Can't contact the studio at all, either through email, call or Whatsapp. Classes canceled last minute although the max time you can cancel on urbansports is 2 days. Very unfair

Victoria Koydl: Never managed to even get to the class but my friends and I had still managed to have a frustrating experience with Boogaloo. We booked a class and while on our way there we received a message 30 mins before the start of the class that it was cancelled. There was no information as to why, this already was a bit annoying as it was so short notice and were already on our way. We had to pay via bank transfer and it took over a month and a half and around 6 email reminders to get refunded for the class that they cancelled unexpectedly. Not to mention that the customer service was cold and unfriendly. It’s a shame that we had this experience, it was off putting enough to not give this place another go. The other reviews seem to back that up too. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Response: Dear Victoria Thank you very much for your review. We are always trying to find ways to optimize and improve our classes and studio! We are very sorry that your experience was frustrating with us. However, we would like to clear up some issues you mentioned. Unfortunately ,we were forced to cancel your class because the dance teacher who always tests herself just before the class, was covid positive . It was impossible to find her a substitute with such short notice. That’s why you received a cancellation notice so suddenly. We are very sorry if you were expecting a fast refund, usually refunds tend to take a little while since it depends not so much on us but more on the accountant's department. Anyway we are very happy that you finally did recieve the refund and that we have managed to clear things up. We wish you all the best and hope you find a great school to discover the amazing and empowering world of pole dance! Best dancing wishes The Boogaloo Team

Martyna Romana: I would not recommend this place especially when you want to learn pole dance. Not enough space in the room (during stretching people did not have enough space and touched each others because of that), only 4 poles for around 15 people, so sharing the pole. You could maybe try once or twice every figure. This place offers no quality but only counts of quantity.

Ingrid do Rio Schulze: I had a really bad time and experience there. I found the room pretty small. The space between the poles are not enough and in some moves probably you will hit someone. The poles are also not really high, so if you are a little bit tall you can not climb and climbing is actually important to develop some skills and strong, for example. I did not feel safe with the way the poles are fixed on the ceiling, seemed a bit improvised. I also would not feel comfortable having a Pole Dance class with an almost uncovered window. The staff is not friendly, kind and nice at all. They did not care too much about what I would want or expect from the class, like a new student or better say a new customer. I asked for an appointment for Level 1 and they put me on the beginners level without asking me. They were not organised and the communication between then is really bad. They were confused with the spots and times. And if I would have done the class on this awful day I would need to share the pole with someone else. They put more people on the class than the room supports.

Marién Quattrocento: I am so sorry for this bad review, I know that small business are difficult to manage but this place needs a lot of improvement. Even the smallest thing can make a huge difference and I hope this could help. My experience was not good at all for several reasons: The studio is far too small for the amount of people they accept in a class. People kept coming in even when the class started and the teacher had to go an open the door for all of them. I think we were at least 13 people and there are just four poles with not much space between them. The ceiling is not very tall so you are not able to climb even twice. We spent too much time on the warm up and the teacher was doing it kind of a military style. Also the studio looks sloppy and with things half finished. During the pole excersises the teacher wouldn't look to the students too much and it felt like she was in a rush all the time. Apparently they moved to this studio two years ago but it took them for ever to change their address on the website and on google maps. A friend of mine went to the wrong place in Kreuzberg and they didn't even care about their mistake. It just gives the impression that they don't care too much.
Response: Hello Marién, Thank you very much for your review. We are always trying to find ways to optimize and improve our classes and studio! However, we would like to clear up some issues you mentioned. If you attended our classes recently, you would know that we have specifically adhered to the COVID-guidelines. This means that our classes are capped at a maximum 4 or 5 students; there is no way you were in a class with 13 people, as this is not allowed by the German laws we are abiding by. Please let us know the specific day and time that you were in our dance studio, because we can not find your name on the list of registered student names during the last 3 and a half months. Also, please note that we closed our studio for several weeks, as we care deeply about our students and do not want anyone to contract COVID-19. Furthermore, we were never located in Kreuzberg. We were located In Friedrichshain at one point, but we moved to Prenzlauer Berg more than 1 year ago and updated the correct address and other details (i.e. our website, Instagram, Facebook, Google, and Google Maps) swiftly and accordingly. Concerning your comments about one of our instructors, pole dance is a discipline which needs a lot of physical interaction, patience, and training. Before using the pole, our bodies need to be thoroughly warmed up and stretched in order to prevent injuries. It is extremely important to have a powerful warm up before moving to the pole, otherwise our bodies will not have the energy and power they need to do all of the moves we carefully plan for each class. We would like to add that we have a variety of teachers with different body types and fantastic experience, and they never had issues with the height of the poles in our studio. Our instructors work hard to take care of every student during the classes and give feedback to the students as needed. If you don’t like the way our studio looks, we are sorry for that, but we love it. :) Looking forward Best wishes Boogaloo Team

Very Disco: I can only join the praises of another reviewer for Boogaloo. I have tried now a couple of pole dance studios in Berlin and this one by far brings me the most joy. The room is small, which for me is good, as I can always see myself and the teacher. Sometimes you have to share a pole, which I dont mind as it gives a sense of cameraderie and intimacy by helping each other. The warm-up is fantastic, it is muscle and stretch based, no jumping around, with nice dancey transitions between the moves. Plus it is super motivating because the music is SO GOOD. I also like that there is a lot of real encouragement from Gabriela, but also she comes and corrects you. Points also for teaching pole that can be sexy but does not have to be. So music, atmosphere and moves, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Meallie In: I had my first pole dance class there and I came back home quite disappointed. The studio is quite small and you need to share the pole with someone else. The atmosphere was not the greatest and the teacher was not the warmest person. I wouldn't recommend this place for a first time.

Jessyca R. Hauser: I went to several pole classes in Berlin until i discovered this studio and fell in love with it. Gabriela who teaches the beginners was by far the most caring and attentive teacher i could find. I appreciate her dedication, her fierce warm up (i never insured myself in her classes, because of that) and her extra knowledge as a contemporary dancer/performer and also ballerina. Not only does she show and explain moves in detail also she actually cares if you do them right and will show you how if you did not, which honestly no other teacher ever did with me. Gabrielas classes are neither aerobic exercises for tight butt nor a how to please the male gaze - you train with an artist generously sharing their knowledge with you. I would love to train with her every day. <3

Ivy Sol: This is the most profesional and cozy tanz studio in Berlin. I took pole dance classes and Gabriela is kind and know how to explain and transmit all the exercises in the way to get exactly the right movement. Is also a good female atmosphere. I recommend it at all
