Md. Mamun: I was craving for Portuguese food and luckily found the perfect place. Nice place with with warm welcoming waiter who is a Portuguese national. Cheap price & warm environment. They might put some effort on dessert though.

Panda Q: Very happy to have found a place serves grilled fish platter for 1 person! Seabass fillet is spot on, grilled squid is very tasty, prawns are slightly overcooked to my taste. They serve the bread waem with garlic and herb blended butter, nice little details made it even better. My friend is very happy about the fish he ordered too.

Megha Mallick: A good place for fish lovers. We ordered a mix grill fish platter, half of the fish were good, but a few (the squid and probably the white fish) smelled rotten and the taste was also bad.But will like to go again.

Waldir Aranha Moreira Junior: Great Portuguese food. Beer nice and cold. Service very friendly. The only down side is that they dont accept all cards.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Will Thompson: Friendly and professional! The food was cooked to perfection. The beer and wine as terrific as well.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Christian Bilfinger: The fish platter for two easily feeds three and is very tasteful. Simple, honest food, we had a great time!

David Byrd-Marrow: A poem of a restaurant. The host was like a kind family member, and the delicious food is exactly prepared. Such a special place.

Ilma H: The paella and their wine was amazing! The service tonight was also super nice 😌

Enmanuel Ortega: Amazing place with Portuguese food, delicious and for a very good price. The service is a little bit slow but it is completely worthy.
Response: in the next one it will be better greetings thank you!!!

Paulo Teixeira: Great place for Portuguese food and wine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend to try a bunch of tapas and to have some wine (Alavarinho is my favorite). The fish has great quality (already tried the shrimp, octopus, and the squids).
Response: Thank you very much and I look forward to serving you with the new Alvarinho and good food.

Barbara Silva: Just had coffee and pastel de nata. They were both great. They have Delta Cafe brand i was really happy to have a little bit of Portugal here in Berlin. Went here again and this time i had portuguese tapas. Amazing. I was so happy, the food is great, the place was remodeled and looks perfect. The owner is really friendly and cooks amazingly.

Chiao Fan Yang: It’s nice for group dinner. You can share tapas together. Food is amazing!
Response: Thanks for the nice review

Dimitris Papadimitriou: Great tasting Portuguese tapas. The place has a great vibe and helpful staff

Miguel Carrera: It’s my second time there, and can only say good things about the place. The atmosphere in winter is cosy, and makes you feel like home. I specially recommend the flamed chorizo or the garlic squid. Good selection of wines as well
Response: Thank you, gladly again

Eun JEE CHO: Quite expensive comparing to berliner price but I can assure the quality. We took one octopus dish and one lamb dish the both were super good. The portuguese beer was quite light but I loved it!

Anaya Alavni: Cozy restaurant with amazing food and atmosphere. I would recommend to reserve table before hand.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Tom Linton: Quite pricey for a small meal in Berlin, but I guess the ingredients were too. I really liked the fish soup I had and the service was very friendly and attentive. Reminded me of Lisbon.

Júlia Moreira: Food is fresh and delicious, always with a lot of salad. The place is very cozy and they are also very friendly. Obrigada :)

Matteo Maso: Nice vibe and food 😊 seems very traditional, good ingredients 🐟🐠 and friendly service!

Jitapriya Das: Not sure of the great reviews, but reading them I had high expectations. However, the pan fried cod was dismal and one of the worst dishes I had in my life. The fish was probably frozen, not thawed properly and tasted funny. Considering the price I expected the quality to be better (although the gravy tasted good). After this experience, I will not be eating cod for a long time.

Justyna Łuczak: Delicious fish plate and super nice service ☺️

B P: Authentic Portuguese restaurant, the only difference from the food I had in Lisbon was the prices. The fish and the seafood was one of the freshest we have had in Berlin. The portions are big. The octopus had 3 tentacles served. As mentioned above, it is pricey. Appetizers ca. 12€ each, main dishes 15-20 €. This is why I deducted one star. Otherwise perfect.

Sonia S.: One of my favourites in my neighbourhood. Healthy and rich food, a great choice of naturally gluten free food, lovely service. Always a pleasure to be back :)

Andreia Ruivo: Friendly staff, but as a Portuguese person I don’t recommend this, at least to other Portuguese people, Portuguese food connoisseurs. It’s overpriced, and unfortunately the dishes had more potatoes and onions than bacalhau (fish). I give it 3 stars as people were really lovely. But don’t get your hopes up on the fish.

Maria Hannemann: I paid 22€ for the gambas. It was 5 gambas, the food was nice until I discovered a little black hair in my food. The waiter (woman) gave my friend too less money back. And she charged me 20€ too much. The people there were unfriendly. Can NOT recommend!

J. Renx: Very nice coffee with desserts. They also have nice tapas with reasonable prices. Friendly staff.Would definitely go back again

Sofia Lidon: The male waitress of more or less 50 years old was extremely rude. He was inventing stories while trying to engage with the costumers. Extremely forced and uncomfortable. Food was nice but nothing special.

Andy Ango: Always a pleasure being there. Brings back memories of Portugal. Food is super nice and drinks are o point. Vegetarian options: A lot

Lisa: Busy esplanada on a Saturday. A lot of options to snack and main dishes but almost half of them were Spanish:( They do have both Super Bock and Sagres. They are actually Portuguese(I would dare to say a family) but they don’t bring the famous Portuguese friendliness, it was more German(maybe they spent too long here).. The caldo verde and the ervilhas guisadas which had another German name that I don’t remember. Both tasty. The caldo verde only had one slice ou chouriço:(

Alexander Benesch: I came here by an invitation from a friend. The staff is really nice. The food is awesome, traditional portuguese. And the ambiance is great, too.

the foschos: nice place for a coffee, but they were completely overwhelmed for dinner. waited 2 hours for our food. there is one waiter during the day who is wonderful, but the evenning guy was medium at best..

Scott Christensen: Great food, great vibe.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Alba Trigueros: I am from Spain and this little tavern feels a bit like home. The food is very nice and super good prices. Totally recommended 👌

Karol Horka: An amazing culinary journey. Typical Portuguese dishes brought in a delicate balance of flavors. All dishes are fresh made, so we took the time to appreciate them with an excellent Douro red wine!
Response: Thank you very much Carol! To the next. 🙏 Anabela

Viviana Silva: Divine food, pleasant space, competent and friendly staff! Anabela is a great Portuguese Chef, with a unique and modern style. I vividly recommend visiting Anabelas Kitchen if you are in Berlin.
Response: Thank you! Always welcome.

Ixchel Ochoa: Not sure it is the owner or a host or a server but the lady here is extremely rude. Have tried to make a reservations multiple times and every time they have no time to talk. Went in person and waited 10mins by the door with no one to come by. Went a second time with a table open outside and were told we couldn’t sit there to eat because she couldn’t come in and out in the cold, but for drinks seems like she could do the trip inside and out (?). Also asked to make a reservation then, and she asked for “when” I said 3 random days and she responded “we are sold out for the next week” so I asked for ANY date and she said to call or try another day. All in all, her job is overwhelming, doesn’t care to help, doesn’t have enough time to jot down a name and date/time but has enough time to have a whole conversation about how much time she doesn’t have and where to find their email on the website … and to spell the website link. I am sure the food is great, but will not try again because I don’t seem to be a customer worth of a reservation ;)

Carlos D.: Not a reliable restaurant for reservations. I made a reservation for dinner on October 13, 2021 at this restaurant, since October 4, 2021, and got a confirmation from Opentable. We were very much looking forward to our dinner celebrating a special event. We took a take a taxi from the Reichtag all the way to the restaurant. Upon arrival, the restaurant was dark and there was a notice on the door indicating that they were closed and would be open again on the 14th. Extremely disappointed!!!
Response: Dear Carlos D. We informed you in good time today by phone call (unfortunately only mailbox) that the restaurant will be closed today due to illness! We are very sorry that we disappointed you! Stay healthy and enjoy your time in Berlin. Anabela

Pedro Corado: The food and the enviroment is marvelous, the chef has high attention to small details in the dishes preparation, and combines some ingredients that you would never expect. This restaurant is a must.

Xylar Asay-Davis: Delicious food with some unexpectedly delightful combinations of ingredients. Very friendly staff that give the place more of a familiar, family restaurant vibe than the drier service typically at more upscale restaurant in Berlin. Wonderful selection of Portuguese wines.

Cathy: A beautiful experience with special friends for a birthday 🎂 🎉
Response: Thank you so much Cathy!🙏

Anna Shevchenko: Amazing restaurant - food, service, everything with a personal touch of chef.
Response: Thank you so much Anna!❤🙏

Filipe Coutinho: Great portuguese cuisine and very well served. Staff is incredibly nice and the place is cozy. Highly recommended!

Vasco Pereira: Nice restaurante with a very good cook that is a master of fusion betwen German and Portuguese cuisine! Also my personal opinion, a little bit expensive for Berlin standards.

Jürgen Schwietering: Very good food from Portugal. Choose fish or meat prepared by a really good cook. Prices for some food depend on the day, they fluctuate with the market variations. Good wines and standard beers. The vegetables served are outstanding and abundant. Outdoor seating and a cozy interior. This is surely a trip worth.

Klaus Bello: 23 years of German adoption of Portugiese cuisine, potatoes salad with tuna, (just ask to not to wgatthe locals request), Sardellen with red marinated red pepper, great flavor, but not with the perfect "medium rare" tuna ( order differently, they arecfexible), i believe to much competition to the tuna, which is so elegant! Order the green vino (see the pics) for the tapas. Awesome. Soooo green! The shrimps and calamari sauce are linear, ask for little spice. Great place. Outside in. Great find in my favorite town.

Sophie: Quite the best Portugal restaurant in Berlin. The homemade garlic mayonnaise is definitely a highlight (almost a sin to recommend it , but trust me , you won’t forget it once you tried. ) We’ve been here twice during the weekend , and the restaurant were full. Try make a reservation in advance

dorian hanaor: This is a great place for people who appreciate good food, and especially fish. It is not the cheapest restaurant, but if you want good fish that cannot be bought elsewhere I highly recommend this place. Delicious monkfish, chicken, cod. At the moment it is the best restaurant I have experienced in this part of Berlin.

Laura Gabi: Very good environment, they put plastic dividers that go from the ceiling to the ground adding an extra sense of security in these times. The staff is extremely friendly, and available. The food was delicious and in good servings.

Luiza Gordilho Misawa: Amazing food and extremely friendly staff!Everything was fresh and tasted incredible.I highly recommend if you love sea food, as me.

This The: Fantastic place! The owner João is a very nice person. Great food and a large selection of wines. The homemade Empadas are a must.
Response: Thank you. We will be pleased to serve you again. And thanks again for your precious advises

Anastasia Beresneva: If I could put 10 stars out of five - I would. This is hands down the BEST service I’ve ever encountered in my life. The hospitality is just out of this world. The owner is the sweetest guy and he told SO many interesting facts and stories about the food we ate and the wine we drank. And of course food and wine were simply outstanding. The portions are HUGE and super authentic. Bonus - you can buy the wine from the shop too! Will definitely visit again!
Response: Thank you, Anastasia, we will be here to serve you... always

Response: Thank you Margot! See you soon ;)

Francisco Lopes: Really nice place, super friendly staff and owner, that can provide you with a warm, kind service and information you might request from the the products. Good biers, good food, really good place to have a café and one "nata" (pastel de nata). Really good homemade bagaço, but be aware it is remarkably strong. If you crave the tastes of Portugal, I highly recommend ✌️
Response: Thank you so much for the kind words Francisco!!!

Bordenrat 7: I think this is my favorite sea food restaurant in Berlin. Although i went with an expectation that Berlin sea food isn’t the best of ideas. But the quality and service proved me wrong. The Oysters were lip smacking and fresh of the tank. As for the main dish, it was a classic tomato based sea food linguine. The creamy taste and the amount of sea food was simply incredible. I am looking forward to trying the other dishes. Overall this is the closest you get to taste great sea food without being in Spain or Italy.

Bob T.: great selection of food. we went with a whole group tapas. service was quick and to the point. calamari and shrimps in garlic sauce were amazing. definitely a place to stop by if you enjoy great food.

antwerppi: Nice little Spanish-style restaurant. Friendly and smooth service. The price level is not the cheapest, but worth it.

Nigel Dutton: Excellent restaurant under new ownership. Very good seafood dishes, bread baked in the premises and super friendly and accommodating staff.

Eunryeong Kim: I went there for lunch today. Paella 🥘 with various fishes and seafood was absolutely amazing💯 The staffs were also kind. The price of food is also affordable!!

Vasilis Karts: Nice restaurant, friendly staff and fresh fish.Nice recommendation close the zoo areaHad the tuna filet and was nice

Eva Vondráčková: Waiters provided us with amazing hospitality, food was delicious and had overall a great time.

Barbara Sousa: The place is nice and the staff is super friendly but the most important is the food and the food is tasteless. We ordered 8 different types of tapas and it was the most tasteless I ever tried. No salt, no spicy, no taste. I felt very disappointed since the reviews are so amazing but the reality is totally different. The food has no Spanish or Portuguese taste. Please improve it. The price is too high for what they deliver.

Nadeen Nilanka: I ordered a cataplana which supposed to be a pot full of sea foods, potion could have little big for the price ex: there was only one prawn and only 2 types of fish, in the menu it was looking good and full of different things but reality is bit different. Taste was good not that extraordinary. Service was good and friendly. Little pricy for the potion.

Chien Celina: Ok, good

AH M: Nice new coffee place in the area. The coffee was good and I really liked the homemade Portuguese baked goods. I will come back again especially for the Pastel de Nata. The service was also very friendly and fast.

Erika Narhi-Martinez: Stopped by while on a walk and got a couple of the bio pastel de nata and a loaf of bread (can’t remember the name but it had a thick crust). The pastel de nata were creamy with a satisfying flaky crust and the bread was the perfect soft interior with chewy exterior, we easily ate half of it in one sitting. Will be back to try more!

Tomás Fonseca: Went there for breakfast and ordered different stuff the majority of them (pastel de nata, pão de Deus) were good. Was a bit disappointed with the Pāo com chouriço because it was still frozen in the middle, so the taste was not great although the chouriço itself was good. Nice coffee and galão

Marcelo: Nice coffee (galão) and pastéis. What else do you need?Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

shirintag: A small Café with outside tables. Affordable cappuccio, good pasteis de nata and nice staff.

André Guerreiro: Great legit Portuguese "pastelaria".Very nice staff and great pastel de nata (best in Berlin in my opinion). Great affordable Expresso too! The only thing not great is how small this bakery is. I hope their business does well so they may eventually move to a larger venue.Recommend!

Lea S: They offer various options for lunch at affordable rate. Some vegetarian options too. It’s a nice place, only the service could’ve been a bit friendlier but I’d still recommend

Jung Woo Yae: Nice and cosy place for lovely tapas.

Cinzia Melograna: I booked a table for 3 on Wednesday for Friday and they confirmed the booking. We arrived on time, and the table reserved was basically behind the curtain at the entrance. At the door. We asked to be moved as it was quite uncomfortable and not cozy at all. One of the guy told us “I sell this table very well” without apologizing for the inconvenience. We then asked to be at the counter (bar) where we waited +20 min to be asked if we wanted to order. Even when a table was then free they didn’t ask if we wanted to change. Food quality was very low. The octopus was not cooked properly and the chipirones were fried badly.

Maru LG: Good Spanish food and prices. But you NEVER EVER FORGET THE TIP. We have spent a good money and Inthe in the end the staff intimidated us because we MUST pay for the tip. Not valuable service for such good an decent money we have spent. The whole tip represented jus 4 hours working based on minimum wage. Ridiculous as that.

Kamila Dragosz: It’s my favorite restaurant in Berlin. I was celebrating my birthday last week in Faro. The food like always was great and everything was organized perfectly. Thank you a lot :))

Ariane Morassi Sasso: I love this place! The Breakfast is delicious, specially the Eggs Benedict. However, it can get a bit crowded in a Sunday morning. Very near to the Mauer Park as well :).

Mahmoud Karam: Quality is super, prices are a bit high. Waiting for 10-15 mins to order. Clean place , cash and card payments. Banana bread is great.

Nicoletta Era Studio: Coffee and Food are very good and the staff is always available and smiling. I was there also with the children and I always found a relaxed and professional situation. I recommend pastel de nata, they are delicious and very fresh!

Feis Buk: Complain about hygiene serving bakery products: On monday, 10th of September 2018 at 17:30 the weiter served "pasteis de nata" and "bolos de arroz" with bare and unprotected fingers (no gloves, no tweezers, not even a simple paper napkin!). The weiter had cleaned the bar, made coffee, took other products, money, etc with the same bare hands. When it was my turn and I complained about that, the weiter took the tray and with a gesture indicated me to took the bakery product myself... ... A big "no-go"!!!

Natalia Mindru: So cozy place for tasty coffee and sweet goodies

Marta Rho: Amazing pasteis de nata, but the personnel is unfriendly and rude. Too many flies around the bread too...

Hugo Menino Aguiar: Inexpensive, healthy food options and you can try some Portuguese treats! Staff is very nice too.

Anton Henssen: Great food , smoothies are delicious, service very nice but a little slow . Love this place !

Eran Tal: More than a bakery, unassuming yet unbelievable side salad for the dishes.

Anastasiya: Nice place, but coffee is average and food is expensive

Dom: Unfriendly & poor service, although the place itself is charming and located centrally. Staff was unpolite, not attentive, definitely disliked their job and looked hang-overed. Simply a NO GO in a service-oriented job. The place itself has many sitting possibilities, esp. outdoors. Two big windows face from inside towards outside. There are many authentic Portuguese drinks & snacks. The prices are ok, as for the neighborhood (Kiez). Atmosphere is diverse, partly posh, partly international, partly alternative. Overall, cool place to have Portuguese snacks & drinks. However, with an disappointing service.

Joana Pereira: Small cozy bakery with portuguese products, such as Pastel de Nata, Bolo de Arroz, Sandes mistas e de chouriço, Compal fruit juices, and of course, coffee and traditional Galão (foamy coffee + milk). All of them fresh and delicious. They are open on Sundays, you can sit outside in the sun, or take-away to a nearby park. Also, you can even speak Portuguese with the wonderful friendly staff! Definitely recommend!

Hank Lim: The egg tart here is delicious. The outside has crunchy and flaky layers, and the inside is soft and creamy, just the way it should be. Sprinkle cinnamon on top - it’s amazing. Tastes very authentic, unlike the many other fake egg tarts out there these days. The galão is very milky and mild. Idk what the real thing is supposed to taste like, but I liked this one

Cristina Costa: The Croissants are Great; The service is very confused, is ok is self service but a person needs to understand where to pick the stuffs. Would be great that everything is delivered together. The nata feels that was from yesterday although the creme was very good.

Felician Bota: Had one the best pasteis de nata ever, crispy crusting with tasty filling. Lots of fresh sandwiches and other delicious pastry. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice seating outside with great views of a trendy street.

Meta Restaurant: what do users think?

Luciana Wolosker: Looking for a traditional german place? Close to Mauer park, we found this really nice place with a german family vibe.Well served plates and great beer! For sure a tasty schnitzel!

Ben Incera: Fantastic German fare at decent prices, on a quiet but not empty corner near Mauerpark. We had the schnitzel with chanterelle cream sauce and warm potato salad, and käsespätzle with mushrooms. Both great!

Janne Näivä: We stumbled to this place only after watching one video that showed people eating here...no further marketing was made. Food is very good and beer you should try as dark as you can get. NOTE: please read the allergens section of the menu and pay close attention to mention your allergies when ordering, especially if you are allergic to nuts. They are not mentioned clearly as ingredients, so it might come as suprise in certain dishes.

Annabelle B.: Good German food for reasonable price. The restaurant is ideally situated in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. Uncountable bars, cafes and restaurant nearby. Very pleasant in summer as it is opposite the park. Friendly staff.

ran yedidya: We came here just for coffee, but it seems that this place has a lot to offer.Good vibes, Great coffee!

Musa Aziz: Great food, great beer and friendly staff.

movingshades: Great food and big portions. Close to mauerpark. Friendly staff. Good Berliner beer. Nice outside location.
