Private Roof Club: what do users think?

Matthias Klatt: What a start into this roasting Sunday! 🙈 We went closer to the sun to a rooftop bar, so we could enjoy an amazing brunch. 🤩 Because of the weather I was quite happy that we were able to enjoy this meal inside in the shade of their beautiful spacious location. A special thank you to the lovely staff who made this a really relaxed and beautiful brunch experience. From the welcome brioche combo to the golden chicken 🤤 to ending with the olive lemon cake it’s all been absolutely amazing! 👌🏼 Thank you very much!! 😁

Tammy Gänsler: This was the perfect location for our offsite event. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, the food is fresh and super well made and the venue as such has a great atmosphere, especially with the roof terrace including the view on the Spree and Oberbaumbrücke.

Cris Mac: One of my favorite places in Berlin !!! The building itself, where this amazing club is located, is simply a travel to the past, food is incredibly delicious, best ingredients, taste, healthy and wonderfully presented to you like art! You want to try every single option in the menu. Service? Nana the waitress was flawless. Coffee on top, perfect! They have as well some really good jam you can buy made by them. Landscape from the roof is just awesome.

Oleksii Lyska: Good location, delicious food, extremely nice staff. Definitely recommend!

Philipp Engelmann: Perfect venue for meet-ups, creative workshops and corporate events. Especially if you are in Berlin just for a short time, it is the perfect spot to dive deep into Berlin cultural life right between the hip areas of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain

Michaela Stephan: Fantastic event location with great views and a very cozy atmosphere. Feels like a fabulous private living room!

Andrija Jurišić: good view; good food; ok service; relatively high prices., a bit posh. worth visiting once.

Marco Streng: Amazing place with a great view and unique character! We want to come back!

Benedikt Foit: Fantastic training venue. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Mein Haus am See: what do users think?

Alberto Figueroa: The best bar in the neighborhood by far. Beautiful people, cool venue, great music and a super chilled atmosphere. Just look at the pics, you can feel the vibe.

Sarah Murray: Funky bar with an artsy design, performances on weekend and decent drinks. Its extremely popular with hostel crowd on weeknights. Fun place to relax and hang out for a spell.

Vedraj r.m: An awesome place to be honest. The open aesthetic of the bar is so cool. There is also a dance floor in the bottom. Where the floor actually rotates. It’s soo good. But one down side is that just like most bars in Berlin, they don’t take cards. Only cash. Well atleast that’s how it was when I was there. And they are pretty much open all night and the crowd is almost always international, it’s a great place to have a nice time. But if you are in Berlin, looking for an old time Berlin place, stay away from this.

llarausa: Pros: ambience, music, places to sit, creative no doubt, lots of drink’s variety.Cons: you have no choice but to share space, could use new glasses: who serves a Cosmo in a Whiskey glass?!?!

Puck van Dijk: Nice bar with cozy sofa’s. Good atmosphere with cool music and lights. Unfortunately the bar staff was not friendly. Getting mad faces and rumoring bartenders if we said we wanted to pay by card. Cocktails taste fine.

Michael Alexander: Good simple drink menu, quite responsive staff and security definitely knew their Jobs. I got the Tocco rosso and can recommend it, the bartender was quick in attending to quite a number of people and so it was never crowded around the bar. The sitting places available are a welcome variety and of great choice. A nice experience.

Beatrice -: We chanced upon this bar and took an instant liking to its laid back setting. It draws a crowd of travelers and once inside, one is immediately surrounded by a cacophony of foreign conversations and familiar laughters. Over cheap enough drinks and comfortable enough seating, the night flew by.

Abdulrahman Basalama: The security guy is definitely racist. I have tried so many times to come into this bar and whenever I arrive he tells me that it is a private party to send me away. The moment I walk in there with white people I get in easily. This is not okay judging people by their appearance.

julia schmidtke: It was really a great experience with you. Really great location and 1A drinks. Really great value for money. I will gladly come again. The bar is designed in such a way that everyone gets into conversation with everyone and anyone who wants to dance also has the opportunity.

Vivien Hertz: Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I can warmly recommend this location to everyone! This great bar/event location made my 30th birthday an unforgettable evening! Super great bar team 👏🏼 nice & very attentive. The DJ was awesome! The currywurst made everyone very happy :-D The price for the evening with all the trimmings was definitely more than fair! 🏼 Many many thanks to the whole Al2 team and this great birthday!

David Dettmer: I organized a farewell party for a friend in beautiful Hanover. Alex from al2 was a great host. Especially the staff behind the counter was quick and our thirst was always quickly quenched. Everything went smoothly. We brought our own DJs, and everything worked great with the on-site technology. Value for money is definitely right here. In other locations of this size you pay significantly more. We were very satisfied.

Anja Brayshaw: Great service, it was a very successful evening and a great party.

Arnika Lindstädt: Hello Alex, thanks again for my birthday party! ALL my friends and I were amazed by your professionalism and your great way! Your cocktails are top notch and your bar is a perfect location!!! I hope that the guests will come back this year and that you will have a full house! Your concept is just awesome and Corona-safe! 1000x Thank you !!! 🎈 Greetings, Arnica

The Pegel Bar Berlin: what do users think?

Vyankatesh Yadav: One of the good bar at Oranienburger Str. Usually it’s open and very busy on weekends. Live DJ at bar changes the mood of the bar in a positive way! Drinks are very cheap and staff is very friendly. There is no food available here and generally they accept cash and only four stars because of small interior space.

Tamika Campbell: Beautiful quaint bar in Berlin. My 1st but NOT last time here. Clean, friendly and absolutely Fun place to be. Till next time 😊

Marlena: Nice, new place with loud music and space for dancing. Drinks too strong for my taste.

Stephen BlauTV: Great Berlin-Mitte bar with a variety of cool cocktails (but also cool draft beer) and nice people. It was fun (also because of the show on Wednesday)

Johannes Diehl: Nice store, good location, great service. Thank you again!

Holger Klein: Exactly the right location for our Steak & Strip event. A nice station for in between or the whole evening. Thanks to the always friendly service team. Not always easy for larger groups 😎

Sebastian Kornelius: Best comedy show in town! And delicious citizens and self-discovered cocktails.

Karolina Kosenko: Great location for company celebrations and events! Was funny and very good long drinks :)

Rowena Kelly: Great cocktail bar. Fabulous location in the heart of East Berlin near the river. Cool arty, decor and outside space with roaring fire. Would revisit if in the area. 💛

SCHMINK-MICH Kinderschminken: Stylish

Virgilijus Pužas: Nice :)

Omid Samani: Nice location and service.

Jürgen Beu: super Drinks

Katja M.: Super delicious cocktails. Very nice and attentive owner. Have always been impressed by the great selection. Nice ambiance.

Tibor Vogt: It was such a beautiful evening. The cocktails are sophisticated and made with love. Very very tasty. So cozy with fire by the water. Really nice personal service. Like visiting friends. We will come back and bring our friends and relatives.🤩

Carl Schubert: We celebrated our wedding there on August 6th, 2022 and everything was perfect from start to finish. Simple, uncomplicated agreements, great drinks and incredibly nice people who really want their job. The location can only be recommended. Many thanks to the team and all the best to you. Knutschfleck Berlin: what do users think?

Ashley Gumbs: This place reminds me of Circus in London. There was a lot of entertainment and things going on. When we went on a Sunday evening there was live singers and tribute acts, a circus act, a juggler and a Coyote Ugly act (girls on the bar dancing pouring shots into guests mouths). Needless to say well worth the entrance fee and the cockatails are absolutely insane

Iain Mc Girr: Nice venue have not tried the food friendly staff good menu of drinks and food and karaoke

Chris F: Good fun but impossible to order a drink. 5 barmen but you have to order with the one roaming drink taker who is far too busy unsuccessfully trying to hook up with bridesmaids.

Paul Marsh: Great venue for a works team building event, learnt about cocktails, drank loads and had lots of fun.On my list for a night out next time I am in Berlin.

Olivia Jastrzemski: The drinks here were delicious! The bar has a very laid back vibe, but you are able to get on the raised dance floor and dance and request songs from the DJ. There were some people there that had amazing dance moves! Some of the people at the bar though, were kind of sketchy. My friend and I did like the bar though, but would have preferred if the dance floor was not in the middle of the bar.

Lorenzo Becker: Some of us weren’t allowed in, and weren’t given a good explanation for it. Furthermore, after we had finished our drinks and waited for our karaoke-song, we were forced to buy more drinks, or else we would be kicked out (although it wasn’t crowded at all). We waited about 2 hours for our karaoke-song, and were skipped many times.

The Liberate Bar: what do users think?

Sarah: Good cocktails, friendly staff. But way too smokey for my taste. (Not really the fault of the bar but it seems like bars in Berlin allow smoking which is a bummer.)

Daniel Reid: Very impressed with the bar and staff. Very friendly. music is mixed 2 everyones taste i would say no matter the age.

Erik Brendel: It was way more expensive than I expected (drinks from 8 to 15 euros), but also very high class, so that is probably ok

Lisa Stumpf: We went there to join a shakenight. The atmosphere was amazing and the interior was really nice. Chris, our barkeeper, showed us how to make cocktails and was really helpful and nice. We had an awesome evening.

I M: great drinks, great locations, very crowdy to get my drink took a lot of time

Raymond Chenon: Nice terasse and dance floor. Some staff members can be rude.

Emily Harden: Cute place right by Hackescher Markt S-bahn station. Extensive drinks menu, which may be seen as a bit pricey for some drinks but well worth going there for a treat or a date. Very friendly service and was nice and quiet when I visited on a Wednesday evening. Classy decor and comfy seats. Would definitely go back.

Eyal Harris: Great comedy, cheap drinks, cool music, what more can you ask for?

Žilvinas Abarius: Seemingly simple place with wonderful people making it extraordinary. Berlin is better because of such places. Go for drinks, stand up shows, but mostly - for the team behind it.

Zain Saleem: Small but nice place for standup comedy

Arjun Yadav: Good underground bar for stand up comedy.

Niki Yaghmaee: Great comedy nights! Diversity is very high and its fun

Shantanu Paranjape: A small, nice bar with comedy shows. Drinks are of reasonable price. Friendly staff.

Michał Sobkowiak: Great place to drop your anchor at the end of evening sail. Quite odd but refreshing DJ. Special atmosphere. Good events from time to time. Place seems to be flourishing under new captain.

CK Ballhaus Berlin: what do users think?

Stella Lopez: Great hostel. Dorms are clean and comfy the people that works there are very friendly and welcoming. But the master piece is the private room that actually looked more like a suit with a private bathroom and the comfiest bed. Will recommand 10/10

Julie: I was here with a friend for 3 nights, everything went well. The rooms were clean, the workers were nice and the price was acceptable for students. there were many young people in the hostel, who came to Berlin to party and it was easy to make new friends. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Berlin:)

PANKAJ KUMAR: Pocket friendly hostel with clean rooms and locker facilities.Shared bathroom and shower which are generally clean and cleaned regularly.

Eva Soto: Very good German beers, also today we got Tiramisu for free!

Cleo Goggin: The most beautiful place...like you slipped back in time. Definitely a showstopper and worth a visit!!!

ROLL TIDE: I stayed here in 2018. It is reasonably priced, clean, staffed all the time, and a great place to stay in Berlin if you are on a budget. I would 100% recommend it.,

Małgorzata Sokołowska: A great historical place with an atmosphere. You can have something to eat and drink, listen to some music and enjoy the various cultural events that take place there. Greets to the nice lady at the entrance/cloakroom.

gökhan adıgüzel: Cheap price low quality. It can be affordable but for the showers u need to move very fast while having shower bcs water is very hot to take a shower, also there a bit dirty rooms and common areas. On the other hand, cheap and friendly atmosphere. Nothing very bad

Steve Hayes: Staying in Titanic opposite, chilled lager, warm service & nice, may snack here.

The Pearl: what do users think?

Michael Slaughterfork: Nice club! No idea what the people mean with „racist“. I have seen people from all nations in that club. However, this is no Sisyphos, KitKat or Berghain, where you can come in (well actually have to come in) bathrobes, fetish or half naked.

Beatrice Gurtun: The worst club i ever been, never recommend it. Spent a fortune. And been treated awful. We booked a VIP table for 2 people worth 1000$ and only one person got in, and the second person never entered . The whole night was ruined. No one even tried to help. Very arrogant waiters and bartenders👎🏻 I asked for the manager, they all avoided any help. We still got big bottles of vodka and in the end it got stolen . A full large bottle. And they lied that cameras dont work. I will never come back to this club, awful

Maja Sonko: Not any better than most of the clubs in Berlin, Bouncers are racist and they decide who to let in, when they want. Pure racist and failed state- Berlin.

Adam Fakhouri: Came here to party and have fun with a reservation for a bachelor party. Even thou everything was confirmed we were rejected at the door. I couldn’t get a worse customer experience . Never again. Answer to owner 220519: No, you’re just reaching for something. We were dressed nice, none of us had to much alcohol (we hadn’t even started drinking) and had a quiet and good talk with the staff. Better yet there was no one else then us in line, so it’s kinda hard to disturb the “guests”. Makes me wonder with your answer maybe the problem is that we did not have the ethnicity you desired. Good luck, have fun! Matrix was much better anyway 😀✌🏻

John Robert Gorman: I would like to start by saying that I have never left a review before, let alone a negative one. So that fact that I have done in this case should speak volumes to those who would care to read it. We chose this establishment out of convenience more than anything. We had been to Germany before but this was the first time staying in Hotel Bristol Berlin. As many of you probably know, this hotel is on the same street as the pearl so it appeared to be the best choice. We got to the door at around half past 12 as we did not want to be to early or to late. As the prime time is supposedly 1am we had assumed that this time would be somewhat quieter. In this respect we were correct, there very few people waiting. Despite this, the security, who did not seem to be doing all that much at the time, took so long to attend us that we managed a rather lengthy conversation with those in the line in front of us. These guests were then shown into the door after quite a substantial time period. We were not, we were simply told “no entry” and they then proceeded to pretend that they did not speak English. Now I understand that occasionally, ratios do need to be maintained for everyone’s enjoyment. However, the guests that entered before us was group of four female guests. We were only two male guests and there was no one else waiting. We always attend an establishment earlier than needed for just this reason so I can only asume that we did not match the standard of guest required to enter this particular club. Perhaps this was the case, I do not know as I was not given any information on request. So I put some information here about us and our appearance last night and you can judge for yourselves. We were two British males, one just under 5ft’9 and the other is about 6ft. I was wearing a dark red button up shirt, formal jeans and a pair of Church’s Oxfords. All in all I think my outfit that night was at a slightly higher value than the marque that we were gathered under. If this was not suitable attire then I shall make sure to arrive on my next visit within one of the suites that I attend meetings in! Secondly, we were also not in anyway inebriated as we had driven to the city before hand. In fact, neither of us had drunk anything of an alcoholic nature for quite some time. Neither of us were rude to the staff or unbecoming in any way. I would not consider myself or my colleague to be undesirable. I am a career driven professional, employed as a Client Management Consultant with a top southwest Executive Search company. As you can imagine, I had a large amount of money to spend last night and due to the security staff, none of it was spent within this club. I understand how business works better than most and typically, successful ones do not turn away potentially high value clientele. I have travelled extensively and been to far more exclusive establishments in London and across the world. This is the first time that I have been refused entry into any building, let alone a club. I am not particularly irritated by this as I have been quite lucky in this respect until now. What annoys me is the lack of constructive feed back I was given. The club was not in full swing, so population was not an issue. We were also very sober, meaning by process of elimination, we were either rude or dressed poorly. I would hope that this was not the case but if it was, I would have liked to have been informed so that this could be rectified accordingly. It was very clear that this was never going to be the case. The Security had clearly made his decision and I don’t think this would have changed for any reason. Never have I dealt with someone as callous or as rude as the staff member in this particular incident. I wish the Pearl all of the best for the future but I would say your staff, wether contracted or full time, leave a lot to be desired. I would suggest either a retrain or perhaps a change of supplier if they are not your staff. I would be happy to be in touch with your team with regards having a constructive conversation. Regards, John

Talal Saleem: Worst experience ever. Waited 30 minutes in the queue and the bouncer said no because we were not white.Club policy toward colour individuals is overwhelmingly racist. Not recommended

kouranovCh kouranovCh: so rude and racists , they dont even let us in because we are not german , thats what the bouncer at the door told us , im gonna process the club , all of my five lawyers gonna make that happen for sure

SylviaCharlene Karanja: Was there last night, great music indeed, mix of everything and many guyz always ready to dance. However the big bartender on the first counter near the entrance is plain blank racist..my first ever discriminative experience. He kept ignoring to take my order acting like he had not seen me... Nearly 15 minutes until i ordered a drink through a friend....a gin n tonic that cost 9 F king Euros !!!!!!! ... Not going back there any time soon.

Ramash As: I don’t understand the negative reviews. We went there for first time and everything went well. The bouncers were really friendly and drinks were good specially (vodka-cranberries) , music was really good too the only reason i am not rating 5 stars is because at some point there were just tooooo many people inside.

Minimal Bar: what do users think?

Yamen Bazzi: Really amazing dynamic bar that offers a dance floor and is usually full of life. The drinks prices are a bit more than moderate but the atmosphere definitely is very social as people sit so very close to you, you cannot not have a conversation (of course you can disengage). People there are so friendly, and the staff are even nice. My favourite part about this bar is that it has a table tennis in a separate room and you can play and meet new people while you enjoy your beverage.

Denise Tench: This bar is a neighbourhood gem and had a great atmosphere, but it was so packed that there was barely anywhere to stand. Much of the space was taken up with a large ping pong table, which looked like good fun and was very popular. A beer was around five euro and decent quality. The bar has that vintage/retro decoration and is designed like old living rooms, while the music is a bit more electro at the weekend. A popular spot, I think I would be able to say more had I gotten a seat and stayed longer.

Tuba Iqbal: The bar is super crowded with dim lights. The hidden corners add alot of complexity. I went to enjoy table tennis there but the people playing there did not seem to be enjoying it at all. I also had the worst Mexicaner there. The only good thing is that they allow card payments only.

sunny kumar: Good place for drinks with card only in BerlinAlso table tennis activities

Jaik Me: I love this bar, they have a place to dance, a place to rest and talk with friends, and the best they have a pingpong table and the atmosphere is wonderfull

Maria Ledentsova: cosy place with nice people, friendly bartenders and even table tennis😮 Also check out the wall decor😅

Maggie Pierce: Super fun bar and pretty close to many clubs. This would be the perfect place to start a night out and get you in the mood to party. Great music, fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, you’re not allowed to dance right now because of Covid. But, we got away with it for about 20 mins so do what you will with that info. I like all of the different rooms they have, it makes the bar really dynamic and fun. I’ll definitely return when I come back to Berlin!

Joanna Ward: Had the best time - drinks are not expensive (come to London for overly priced drinks...), music great, staff and crowd friendly. Went with daughters and was worried about being too old and too uncool and I probably was but had a great night anyway 🤣

Giacomo Zanni: Small but busy club in Xberg, for a real intimate clubbing experience. Mostly house music

Sebastian S: No warderobe…nice music and coctails but no place to put the bags or jacketsThe bartender warned us that they could get stolen if left unattendedFriday 0:22

Ori Kidron: Great friendly atmosphere, nice community vibe, good music - love this place!

Hayes Karen: Visited Berlin and stumbled upon this bar by this wonderful bar! Great DJ’s, delicious cocktails and the most welcoming staff. So good my friends and I went 3 nights in a row!! I forgot something there on my last night, and the staff offered to post it back to Ireland for me. So kind, a real treasure of a find. Looking forward to my next visit already!
