Satyajit Patnaik: I absolutely recommend to take German classes with Expath. - My teacher, Michael, was really amazing with his organisational efforts related to keeping notes, list of home work sections and laying information in English when it is needed. He made the sessions really easy to follow. It helps a great deal to concentrate in the class and not take any notes, because Michael maintains crisp notes in an online drive which I still reference during my practice and for doing home work. - Learning from a native German speaker who also speaks good English is great to have. - Expath also offers the courses in a very customer savvy way, they are really helpful and are ready to answer your questions whenever needed. I am looking forward to my A2.2 classes in the new year.

Parinaz Mostafaei: Today was my 4th day in GLS, and I should say that is fascinating. I’d gone to another school for 1 month. Honestly because it was in lower price and you get discount if you bring a friend. However, in my view learning a language is not something to be stingy about. So I happily registered for a 6 months course in GLS. Only in 4 days I see the huge difference between The GLS and other schools. The teachers are professionals teaching with enthusiasm. The activities are well designed and teachers talk to you and control your progress every day. Now I am so in love with this school and German language.

Aziz Mesned: Lovely place, great teachers, each class has a limited number of students which i find wonderful, the teachers are always friendly & ready to answer your every question, the reception team always greeted me with smiles & respect. The cafeteria is nice but if you wanted to have something else you have plenty of restaurants on Kastanienallee street. the leisure time activities that GLS offers are just okay, nothing really special but they’re there if you want. I highly recommend GLS if you’re interested in learning Deutsch, a great school with great staff.

Joao Tonon: I’m a bit disappointed at this place. I am doing an intensive course, which is rather expensive. Whilst the teachers are good, and the school has the infrastructure, they manage the cohorts quite poorly. I was placed in A1.2, and the class I am has 12 people and we all differ in levels. Some people have studied German for months before, whilst others have little to no German knowledge. This clearly impacts at how fast the class can move, as some people can’t follow and the teachers have to spend quite some time explaining very basic things, such as simple regular verb conjugations and pronouns. Also, people miss several days in a row and are placed right back at the cohort, slowing down progress again. The last piece is that it is an intensive course, but at times we spent quite some time at unnecessary topics. They say the class should move from A1.2 to A2 in 4 weeks, but the teacher said that it will take another 2 weeks to get to A2. I wouldn’t recommend this place for someone looking for a place to do a short intensive course

Oksana Tarnopolska: I was enrolling in B1.1 evening course and will definitely continue. Our teacher Anna was amazing, so much material packed for that amount of time. Some events apart from course like exhibitions or picnic is also a big plus for expat community who want to meet new people. Highly recommend speakeasy !
Besjan Xhika: Following the evening course on site since 3 months, very convenient when your day is busy. Professor Mohammad is a great teacher, his explaining of the grammar is very clear. Pronunciation is important and the professor does a wonderful job also here. Some other important details are that the professor only speaks German and makes analogies also in German and completely eliminates English.

Raimond Luide: I have had a very enjoyable experience with Speakeasy so far. The teachers have been super friendly and easygoing (my B1.1+ teacher is Levant) and this makes it a lot easier and smoother to learn German. The location is prime, you have the East Side Mall next to it with a parking house. Everything you could ask for a language center is there.

Nathalia G: I came to Code Academy without any coding knowledge, yet I already had a job offer when I finished the course. During the course, the most important questions regarding language and technology were explained step by step. I received a lot of support from mentors and Ottavia in particular has always pushed me forward. The atmosphere was great, colleagues from the course willingly shared their knowledge. Overall, a wonderful 5 months, full of learning, challenges but also interesting, open-minded people!

De Mecquenem Ninon: This is a great school with an amazing team and a great location. I have met numerous students at this school by working next door. They are coming from a lot of different places and have very different backgrounds. They are all very happy about the courses and projects that were proposed. The ones I have kept contact with quickly found a position after the formation. Their programs for web development and data science, from my professional experience, really correspond to what will be asked from you when you will apply to related positions. If you are looking for learning one of these topics with a skillful and kind team, and a friendly ambience, you should definitely go there.

Sandy Gonzalez: Career Foundry has been a great experience so far. I really enjoy working with my tutor and meeting with my mentor. I feel like I’m learning a lot and doing a lot of good work to build my portfolio and skill set. I am doing the program part time and working full time as a Pre-K teacher. Completing the course on my own time has been very helpful, I really enjoy the flexibility.
Alex Ritchie: Intro to UX is a fantastic investment. It provides structure to a broad, evolving career field and makes it easy to gain valuable skills. The course provides a series of lessons and corresponding tasks that help students gain hands-on experience researching and designing an app. While there are some leaps between lessons, the course provides ample resources to help you fill in all the blanks and create something to be proud of. Additionally, their network of tutors and mentors provides invaluable advice every step of the way. I now feel confident in my understanding of how researchers and designers work and I have vital experience to begin my career transition into UX design.

Some of my highlights: I love ¨learning by doing and knowing by experience.¨ My tutor gives valuable feedback that always helps improve my proposals My mentor is exceptional :) she is well experienced in the sector and shares knowledge sync to the job market. The online platform is friendly, easy to navigate, and to follow up Information is well structured, with plenty of examples, resources, and references. Projects are based on real-life examples. I feel satisfied with my advance, I feel confident with what I have learned, and motivated to continue until the end :)

Yoga Teacher Training Berlin: what do users think?
Kailin Badal Thomas: I did the 200 hours Dynamic Mindfulness training and it has been a very profound experience for me. This training is based on teaching with care and wisdom the elements of Yoga and meditation, from the history and foundation of Yoga and Buddhism, anatomy of the body and movement based on new knowledge about somatic and biomechanics, helpful guidance on how to be a yoga teacher and all that goes with it and of course, deepening into the practice of Yoga from a non-dogmatic point of view, with a kind approach and from a very reflective perspective into the current society and daily life. I believe that the work that its founder Tatjana has done is exceptional in organizing and transmitting this knowledge from the online materials and videos to the onsite weekends and the incredible classes with her. For me this was an experience that went beyond my expectations, it was very transformative and I feel super grateful for it. I will completely recommend it to all of you there!

Katya Abramkina: I feel very lucky that I found this Yoga teacher training. I’ve met wonderful people, improved my yoga and meditation practice and gained a lot of new knowledge. Tatjana gave us a lot of information based on since and on Buddhist non-dogmatic perceptive of yoga. I’m grateful for that opportunity to learn more about Buddhist philosophy, anatomy and history of yoga. The course, together with virtual studio and master-classes, is very well organised. We had a big part of it online and 4 great weekends in person in Berlin. It is very helpful that it is always possible to go back to all material. And to meet everyone and share this journey together, online and offline was wonderful. Thank you Tatjana for creating this program! Natalia Schnur: I have graduated from 200 hrs yoga teacher training with Tatjana in 2021 and it was an incredible experience. I loved the International atmosphere of the training, non-dogmatic and careful approach of Tatjana as a teacher. Tatjana is a great teacher with lots of experience. The combination of online and offline sessions was beneficial for me and allowed me to get deeper understanding of the topics. The online material is carefully curated by Tatjana, it is clear and concise. I definitely can recommend this teacher training for anyone who is thinking to take their yoga practice to the next level, get better understanding of movement and get equipped to start teaching yoga themselves based on principles of Dynamic Mindfulness.

Katie: The Dynamic Mindfulness Yoga Teacher Training took me on a wonderful journey of learning and discovery. Not only did I engage in a thorough, well planned and extremely professional teacher training programme, I also became part of a supportive network of like minded yoga enthusiasts. The online component of the teacher training was very well put together, offering a wealth of knowledge which kept me motivated through its carefully composed modules. There was also the possibility to connect and ask questions during the two live online classes per week, as well as the monthly online meetings. I loved the last two modules of the course when we met up in person (fantastic for people who live in, or can travel to Berlin). The course was flexible enough to accommodate my family and work and while there were times at the end, when I had to push myself, it was worth every moment of it. Tatjana knows her stuff and is an inspiring teacher.

Dennis “Denkon”: One of the best experiences I have ever made in my life! EF Berlin is one of the most heart-warming and caring schools I have ever experienced. They have teachers that always have great quality during their classes/lessons and their staff is always helpful. Especially is their activity leaders always happy and have a great desire to always guide you through all the activities in Berlin. I also had the honor to live with a wonderful guest family where I hope always to keep in touch with them. If you are on the fence of joining EF Berlin I would say go for it every time! Vorname Nachname: Teachers seem to be not regular employed because they have to leave the course very quickly. And they seem to be bad paid because they don’t prepare their courses. The only good thing is : They have a good technology but I think that to have an available teacher and a good course is the best to learn a foreign language.

Staś Werno: I did a great deal of research before deciding which of the coding schools or bootcamps was right for me. I confidently settled on WBS, based on several factors, including the curriculum, the feeling I got from speaking to the staff, the length of the course and the ability to work from home. It was absolutely the right decision and the school delivered on all fronts. The staff are kind and helpful and adapt to feedback from the students. The curriculum was fast paced and challenging but not unrealistic and certainly fulfilling. The career advice was invaluable. All in all it was an experience that I will not forget, and I ended the course feeling sad that it was over but happy to be a part of a new community.

Basically, it’s pretty straightforward: the task shows examples and lets you know the variable’s name to define and the value you should assign to this variable. Teodora Atanasova: I really enjoy my German classes at the DAS Akademie Berlin in der Torstraße! I am finishing my A1.1 German course in a small group, all people from different countries. Our teacher is creating this comfortable environment for us where we can make our first steps in German language without any doubts. We have interactive games and a lot of dialogs so that we can practice the language all the time. The staff is excellent - DAS offers a special service, when you sign the contract and know the days you are not going to be in Berlin, you will get these days added to your course, brilliant for my travels in Germany. Snacks, tea in the break, great after class activities in German for free! Actually many people assume that German is very difficult language (which is true) but when you start speaking from the first hour, the whole process of learning is so much easier and even amusing! Moreover, the place is really cozy and you can make a bunch of new friends while you are in Berlin! :) BG: Започнах първия си курс по немски в DAS Akademie и, ако трябва да съм честна, е доста полезно и приятно! Arno Reynaert: Absolutely incredible staff, teachers and German classes! I have been attending DAS Akademie for 2 months now after being unsatisfied with my last German language school. I felt unhappy because the method of teaching and the big class groups slowed down my language growth. At first, I was sceptical whether going to another German school in Berlin would solve my problems. However, from the moment I stepped foot into the door of DAS Akademie I felt right at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming. They make time to get to know you, ask about your day and always have a smile on their faces. Furthermore, the teachers are amazing. I had the privilege of getting taught by Patrick, a very charismatic guy with great teaching abilities. Not only that, but the method of teaching at DAS Akademie focuses primarily on improving your speaking skills. This was exactly what I was looking for, because I want to be able to communicate with Berliners in their mother tongue. The small class sizes (I was in a class with 5 other students) really help that. Although the courses are more expensive compared to my previous school, the quality of teaching is way superior and can be compared to the more expensive schools out there. Before coming to DAS Akademie, I was very nervous and shaky when speaking German. However since joining the Akademie, I have become way more comfortable in speaking and can express myself more freely. I would definitely recommend anyone to come to the school. You will not regret it.

Tatyana Dogovorova: It was a great experience in CDC Berlin! Teacher that we had was highly qualified and friendly. Every time she was making our regular classes fun and joyful. In addition, administration is always opened to help and assistance. Furthermore, you can meet a lot of very diverse international students there and make lots of friends.There are also excursions organized by CDC every day, so you will not be bored! ;)
Waqas Rehan: CDC is a very good place for taking interactive German Language Education. The teachers are very hardworking & friendly while the administrative staff is very cooperative & happily willing to answer any query. Many extra curricular events are observed weekly & they are not only meant to relax the students, but, indeed very informative for students who come around the globe. So, when you join CDC then you feel that you have joined a family where there is care, love, affection and very many everlasting lovely lessons. Thanks CDC indeed...

Manzura Muminova: My experience with CDC was excellent from my first day, it was in Berlin and lasted for 2 months. The teachers of the Center were fantastic . They were extremely patient, friendly and very helpful. They clearly believed in and enjoyed what they were teaching. The administration team was also very helpful and friendly and the excursions were well organised and conducted by knowledgeable, friendly guides.
Magdalena Gawlińska: I had been attending an intensive German course in Berlin as a part of my scholarship. After this adventure, I finally know how effective and enjoyable language learning experience look like. I am really grateful to my teachers - Ana and Juliane - for all the effort they had put to teach us. I have encountered many language teachers in my live, Ana and Juliane are really pro. Both are very competent and gifted. On top of that they always knew how to motivate us. Learning with them was not only efficient but also fun. I truly recommend this school to anyone who wants to not only speak a language but also use it appropriately. Deutsch macht Spaß!
David Girdwood: I spent two of the happiest weeks of my life at CDC Berlin. The time spent there was a holiday aimed at pursuing a new interest in life. As a sixty year old new starter in the German language, the staff were always going to be challenged. I was in a class of very mixed nationality and ability. Thankfully, by ten months, I was not the oldest in the class! The remainder if the class were in their twenties. Before I arrived in Berlin, the School had warned me that the age gap was likely to be significant and asked if I considered this to be a potential problem. There were no problems. Classroom work was on an individual and on a syndicate basis. This meant that team work was essential. The teaching staff were excellent, understanding and very approachable. The administrative staff did all that they possibly could to help. The teaching environment was comfortable. The extra curricular activities, which were not compulsory, were well organised and allowed students to see life outside the classroom, to mix with other students and to converse in the only language common to all of us. I have made contacts with students of all ages and with the staff at CDC. I met people whom I will never forget and have memories that will never leave me. Why did I choose CDC? I looked at various language schools in Berlin. Every time that I e-mailed with a question, they referred me to their website. When I had more detailed questions, CDC picked up the telephone and actually answered the question. So, the choice was the original no-brainer! Would I go back again? Definitely.
Luka Borec: I spent two months studying German in an intensive course taught by Juliane and Anna. Both of them are not only very friendly and approachable but also wonderful teachers. It was a joy returning there every day.

Adriana Villa: Excellent school. My experience was even better than I was expecting. I had experiences with other language schools in Berlin and in comparison, the difference was enormous. My teacher was Luise and I took the 10 week intensive German course (B1). Teachers are German and you learn the pronunciation of a native speaker. I ended the course being a whole new student , I REALLY up-graded my ability to undertand, read, hear and talk. My personal experience was fantastic, however, I had a substitute teacher the first week and she was not good.

Cathy Huang: One level is spilt into 2 books📕📗 (e.g. A1-A1.1 & A1.2) (i.e. one book = 5 weeks) I spent 2.5 months to complete A2.1 & A2.2 German🙋🏼♀️Based on my experience, I am confident to say that it’s the best language school in Berlin🇩🇪 Organized system, flexible arrangement, reliable teachers, multicultural learning environment, convenient location, reasonable tuition…und viele mehr🤩 Before registration, it’s suggested to take the free online test on their official website. The level test takes around 20-30mins and the result comes out in a few hours. Gwen Calisch: Die Neue Schule has been an absolutely fantastic place to learn German, I cannot recommend it enough! Matthias was one of the best teachers I have ever had-- he explains things very clearly and intuitively, has endless patience with students, and makes class a lot of fun. I have just completed 7 months of intensive German (A1-B1, Zoom only) and I am really going to miss my daily classes and especially my lovely teacher.

Полина Александрова: I took a 2-week intensive German language course with Katy Hartmann. From my point of view, it was rather efficient, because all the topics were explained in great detail and the teacher was ready to answer any question I wanted to ask. Every student was included in the discussion, and as a result we had a lot of personal variations of sentences to widen our vocabularies.

Josephine Lohoar Self: Transmitter is a fantastic language school to learn German at, not only are the classes small but the teachers are super lovely, creative and kind. They somehow even make learning grammar fun! Would highly recommend.
Meltem Çetinoğlu: I’ve completed A1 level back in 2019 and took a long time off from learning German due to Covid. I’ve started again in 2022 and I went back to Transmitter without hesitation. Thanks to the lovely teachers there, I’ve reached the end of B1 level in ~6 months. All the teachers are not only very competent both in their knowledge and in making the class fun, but also they are interesting as human beings, most of them having some kind of interest in art, music etc. They often organize activities outside the class; pub gatherings, museum visits as such. I enjoyed learning so much with Laura who is an extremely nice and organized teacher. You can really feel she is personally committed to her students’ success. She always searches new ways/tools to explain the topics and goes above and beyond in making each and every student regardless of their level, feel at ease in the class. Thank you Transmitter for the lovely atmosphere and making me more competent in German. :)

In my case I needed a grammar refresher, vocabulary boost, and a bit more conversational confidence. 4 week daily intensive course was perfect: small class size, solid enthusiastic teacher, and quick-paced lessons. Already enrolled in next series B2.2!
Manoela A. Lemos: Absolutely the best course in Berlin. I’ve tried some before, but they are all extremely boring, only following the book and not really interested in trying anything new to help with the learning process. Transmitter cares about making thorough reviews of the content, every class there’s a bit of a review of what we have learned. This is extremely important to help fixating the content. Besides, it’s always very dynamic and you don’t get tired of the subject. There are games and activities developed specially for every content. Another great thing is that every teacher there is incredibly good 💛

Mina Mazaheri: I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Good tutor, good course material, convenient location (for me), and a good course progression structure. Our teacher was great in this course. Antje prepared each lesson and the course followed a good structure.
