Andreas Kirchwitz: Very friendly service, uncomplicated process, questions are answered competently, so car rental is fun. The entrance is clearly marked, but it is advisable to check Google Maps or similar beforehand, otherwise you will drive past it and it will be difficult to turn back afterwards.

Sven Berlin: Disaster to the power of 5. Vehicle had more defects than anything else. Was not roadworthy (rear light completely destroyed) and then in retrospect I am accused of damage that was already there. The existing damage list was already cubits long. I have now filed a complaint on suspicion of fraud. Obviously, Sixt is trying here to charge for damage twice or three times. Once and never again. Apparently Sixt is trying to make money with Schottautos. The vehicle was broken inside and out and nothing worked

We had everything scheduled months in advance with Hertz (across the street) and first, they were closed when we had a scheduled pick up, then, when we went to get our car the next day, they said we could not drive into UK (as we had told them ahead of time we were planning to do). We walked across the street and met Steve at Enterprise!!! He understood our situation and was very generous, nearly matching the deal we had with "that other company" and helping in so many ways. He saved our trip and helped us realize our Gold status at Hertz means nothing! Enterprise Emerald all the way!!!

Christof W.: Probably one of the worst Enterprise branches in terms of customer service and condition of vehicles. I have been a customer in many branches, but here the behavior of the employees is more than questionable. Condescending, lackadaisical and definitely not trained to talk to customers. The friendliest person refurbished the cars, maybe the gentlemen should switch roles. Vehicle was already defective upon entry, was not exchanged and thus I was sent on a 600km trip with a defective car (among other things, tail light has failed at night on the highway). Irresponsible.

Seb B: I have rented approx 250 cars in my life, but the attitude and outright deceptive, rude and borderline criminal behaviour of this specific Enterprise location is unique. Good experience with Enterprise and Alamo at other locations, even in Germany, but especially the US, but the staff here are simply crooks.

Gora Heer: I reserved a BMW but on the time of pick up i was told they don’t have it. I had to compromise the choice since I didn’t have any other option. But the good thing is the advisor or the person who was assigned to help me further she was so nice her name is Anni Lehmann, she went above and beyond for her best she got me a nice Polo , she have had some issues while putting the details in the system since i had Canadian license and all but she helped me, she took her time to make sure everything is good to go. I personally think that she deserves a raise in her salary. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Florin Mogos: Picked up the car with some minor damages which I did not notice when I picked up the car. I had to pay extra for the rim damage. I parked the car in the courtyard so the chance of damage was very little. Their insurance is misleading as it includes the tires without the rims.

Just picking up a huge animal cage. So after that, I went to Europcar. The Atmosphere was completely different from R &J and they helped me when I was in crunch. gill bainbridge: I would just like to days how great enterprise car rental on Budapest Strasse were when we hired a car to drive from Berlin to Rugen. The pick up was very easy and we got a great car. Kilan, spoke fantastic English and was very helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble . We have a nightmare return journey and follow two huge delays due to roadworks , a 3 hour journey took six hours. I arrived at the office very upset, as I thought we may miss our flight back and I got flustered and parked on the wrong level. Kilan was, luckily for us on duty and took control. He was very calm and again was not upset that I had parked on an incorrect level and was great. He checked the car over and reassured us that if we got at Taxi, we would make our flight . He even order a taxi for us, when we asked. We made the airport, 50 Mins before our flight ( which was ironically then 2 hours delayed!) . However, Kilan was a complete star and mature beyond his years. Enterprise , you have a manager in the making! Give him a promotion! Thank you , Gill and family x

Kyle Saletta: I wish I would’ve read the one star reviews. All went smoothly at first. I came into the location and inquired about renting a car for 24 hours. The price was a little higher than expected but I agreed as I needed it. The man did a very brief walk around the car to look for damages with me and we didn’t see any. There was a apparent scratch on the headlights logged in the system but we couldn’t even find it. I gave him my credit card and signed some things. I also made the mistake of getting the free basic “insurance” thinking to myself that I would definitely not crash the car. I drove the car carefully and was with it for the entire 24 hours(literally). When I came back to return the car, to my misfortune, it was not the same man that I first dealt with. Instead, a lady came out to inspect for damages. I didn’t think much of it, and relaxed, glad that I had made it back safely with no accidents. Then my jaw nearly dropped. I was astounded to see that she had began conducting a crime scene investigation on the vehicle. I witnessed her brushing off dust to see what conditions lie beneath. She was analyzing every millimeter of the car with the hopes of discovering any imperfection. She occasionally she got down on the floor to get a strategic viewing angle. This whole time I was recalling how the first man simply walked around the vehicle and said “it looks ok.” Keep in mind this was also their cheapest vehicle in the fleet). I am dumbfounded as I watch. To no surprise, she concluded her investigation by exclaiming “uh oh!” As she rubbed her finger on the car indicating a flaw. She seemed insulted that something that happened to the car and immediately claimed to me that I had damaged their vehicle. I was resentful to hear this and got closer to try and see what she was boasting about... I couldn’t see it. She then had to instruct me as to which angle I needed to look at the car with in order to see the blemish.... I close my eyes and take a deep breath... trying to calm myself and accept that she is actually serious.. What I see is a very small impression, maybe 4mm in diameter on the bottom portion of the door. It is so minor that I wouldn’t of been surprised if it came like that from the factory. I tell her this must’ve been overlooked when the first man inspected the car because. She defensively says that that is impossible, because “we all do the same procedure when looking at the cars” I laugh to myself when she says this. It’s hard to believe that because she is the only car rental person I’ve seen in my whole life that tried that as hard as she did to find damage. Especially on the cheapest car in the fleet. She tells me that they are going to keep my €950 deposit until they decide how much of it they want to pocket, or how much I’m excess they want to charge. The paper she handed me said to contact them if I don’t hear back From them in 90 days. So now I wait possible 3 months to get my nearly €1,000 back. Hopefully no financial emergencies come up during that time. This is ridiculous. A car is not going to stay perfect forever. If someone looked at a brand new car as intensively as she did, they would find imperfections. I don’t understand how a company can operate like this. Cars have problems, cars break down and many times to no fault of the driver. For them to charge their clients for something such as this is absurd. I could understand if the car came back with the bumper ripped off and parts hanging off. But this was smaller than a door ding. This was probably from a pebble coming off truck passing by. And I still do not believe it occurred under my use. Depending on the outcome of this, I will do my best to make it clear to as many people as possible how this company treats their customers. I really hope they do the right thing and give someone a little common human respect. This lady does not understand what insignificance is and should get a job examining diamonds, not weekend rentals.

Anastasia Mavridou: Unfortunatelly we lost valuable time from our trip because the employee who handled our reservation was very unwilling (also unfriendly) to help us. The driver license was slightly broken at its corner, a minor damage that is acceptable by the police and other car rental companies (speaking from experience) but to him was not, so we had to delay almost two hours in order to go back and forth finding another driver. Totally unprofessional. Furthermore the reservation we did (by phone, with another employee) was for an automatic car, which was not the case when we arrived there. We also did not received any clarifications about the insurance packages until the time we asked for ourselves. Overall we felt like the employee (also manager in his case) was not trying to provide us with a good and safe service. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Lachlan Wells: I regret my decision to rent with Sixt. We had mechanical issues with our vehicle a few hours before the end of our 1-day rental period. We called the office, who were unsympathetic and told us to call the emergency hotline. We dialled the emergency hotline, they hung up on us. After 45 mins we finally get to speak with someone, they send a technician who takes more than 1 hour to arrive (in the middle of Berlin). He fixes the vehicle and we return it just after our 24hr rental period has expired. When we handed over the keys, the staff member did not apologise for our inconvenience. He said nothing, so we left. A few days later he charged my credit card for a full extra day of rental.

Igor Galiev: I booked here a car in advance to travel from Berlin to Paris, stuff was friendly and even i rent car for the first time to go to another country they make concession for me. I got BMW X3 and car was in great condition. I really enjoyed my travel on german autobahn. Also car have many useful features like speed signs shown in advance so i can drive according to the speed limits - very useful for a tourist driver, like me. I returned a car in Paris and it was a quick process. Would totally rent car from Sixt again.

They falsely charged me for an extra day and took it out of my deposit and now over two weeks later and after many phone calls for the refund (which I was disingenuously promised) I have had an automated bill saying I OWE 98 EUR and must pay immediately. How can this be a large company??!

He explained the details well and above all he was quick and courteous and you are simply grateful for such an appreciation.the whole thing was expensive but not more expensive than other providers. all in all a good experience.

Alexandre Lemieux: Staff was very friendly at pick up but things turned very sour after I returned the vehicle. I did a night drop and received a cleaning invoice a few days later. When I called to know the reason of the charge they told me I smoked in the car which is IMPOSSIBLE for the simple fact that I DO NOT smoke... I tried to keep my cool with the lady on the phone who kept being passive agressive with me, basically constantly accusing me of lying. When I asked who to talk to in order to escalate this issue, she just told me to hire a lawyer. I have rarely been so insulted and will make sur to avoid Enterprise at all cost from now on.

Jan Strach: Once again Enterprise got me covered. I have had car booked with some other car rentals as they had good promotion. Even though I made the reservation more than a week in advance, in the end they called me to inform me there is no car available. Then within less than 24 hours I was able to make the reservation with Enterprise. They also ran out of the wider range of cars. Nevertheless they offered me better car than booked for no extra charge.

Jimmy Jobbie: Girl on the counter straight-up lied about how big the excess would be. She said it would be 950€ for every scratch. IE. 2 scratches would be 1900€, 3 scratches would be 2850€, etc. After purchasing the insurance I checked my documents - this was simply not true. I emailed customer services to confirm. The excess was 950€ - nothing more. I normally use Enterprise because they are straight compared to other companies. This time behaved like thieves!

Shlomo Pozner (шломо познер): the service was bad and the way things were handled. We agreed on a fixed price and in the end we had to pay more than expected. I can not recommend this place and of course I would not come back!

ART: I booked BMW5 but i get e200, navigation was not working in the car because of sd card problems, child seat is very used, maybe its ecok inonomy class, you should find better seat for luxury cars. Overall everything was ok, without problems. Booked for 14 days, drive about 3.000 km.

David: They surprise you by making you pick up the car 10 km further away. On top of that they gave us the wrong place it was parked so we spent 2 hours looking for it and calling with customer support while it was -5 outside.

Martin Kühn: Three stars for the car which was okay (but not the one I asked for and not the one that was shown to me). 0 stars for service. Here’s why… First thing which was understandable but annoying: my wife had to pick up the car in my place since my credit card wasn’t accepted. I didn’t know my PIN number which was required. However, I would have been able to pay the caution by smartphone, cash, bank transaction or my wife’s credit card. None of it was possible. She showed up later , got a different car (not the one your employees showed to me when I was in the office) and -this is the worst part - your company sold her an unnecessary insurance which I had already rejected when I was there before her. We had booked an insurance (Vollkasko) online via booking.com which your employees weren’t aware of so we ended up paying additional 22€ per day which was completely unnecessary. In addition we had to pay around 50€ extra for the additional driver. All of this wouldn’t have happened if your company was able to accept other payment methods. Also I tried to find the phone number of the office in Leipziger Str to complain about that the same day which was impossible. We lost about three hours of our time and around 90€ For four days of rental due to these annoying regulations since our home is not exactly around the corner of the pick up station. In addition, my wife couldn’t leave the parking Garagentor at least another 15 minutes since the gate was closed and no one noticed it and let her out. It was incredibly stressful to me and my wife and a really bad start of our short holiday with our two children.

Christopher K: Sixt is scamming people with their voucher, which is not applicable in the normal process. It’s not stated on voucher or website. You can only book the 30€ voucher if you pay later which comes with an extra fee of 15€. Verbraucherzentrale has sued Sixt already several times, they continue with being a menace of a company.

Kira: Renting a car is almost always an awful process, but if you have to rent a car, this is one of the best places in Berlin. The staff are fast and efficient. The garage is easy to navigate. Everything is clearly marked. Returns are easy. Overall, this has what you need to rent a car easily in the city center.

My only complaint was there was a long 40 min queue when picking up on a Saturday, so best go early if you need the car to get somewhere on time.

Burkhard “DrewPie” Drews: Service was good. SIXT employee got the car for us and walked us through a quick introduction. Return: No issues but parking is a little tight. Just tell them if you have car insurance with your credit card and decide on the insurance they usually add.

Sarah: The guy didn’t even come with me to the rental, we didn’t do the check and I had the impression he didn’t care about me. It’s not the first time I have a mediocre experience with Sixt. Plus the interior of the rental car was dirty and I wonder if they did a check before since the rental was saying it needed an oil change !

Victor Hugo Souza: Good price and vehicle was new and excelent. Staff is well prepared. Parking has very difficult access. Price of additional insurance is outrageous (common to all rental companies). No joint inspection after return makes you uncomfortable. I would recommend Sixt.

MC: Terrible rental car company - their checkout process is flawed. They do not inspect their cars properly and there’s no one on site to review the status of a car when you initially checkout. When you return the car, they will “find” anything on the car that was pre-existing and bill you for damages. The locations in Munich and Berlin are especially poor, and the maintenance staff who checkout the vehicles do not speak English. American travelers beware. They do not understand customer service.

Sam Bell: Terrible experience, do not use SIXT car rental!! I was charged an extra £90 on my return to home with no explanation as to why this money was taken and was not made aware there was going to be any extra charges. They have literally just stolen money from me without consulting me on extra costs and just took the money from my account. This is despite paying everything upfront!! Disgusting service, extremely disappointed as thought they were a trustworthy company!! 😡😡😡

Berna Celebi: I strongly advise to NOT USE this branch for car rental service. Some of the staff (not all but if you need to work with these: good luck!) is rude and unfriendly, far from " helpful". NOT customer-oriented, friendly service at all..The car pick up and delivering situation is absolutely horrible; the branch does not have any parking space to leave the car and they do not allow to drop it in front of the shop either (they indicate it is not allowed to leave the car there BUT they can easily pick it up and park wherever they want). Today they did not allow me to drop the car in front of the shop indicating that it is not allowed while they wanted me to park at the corner of a very narrow street nearby--mind you parking on the corners is also NOT ALLOWED! While trying to place the car in this inconvenient and NOT permitted spot, i accidentally scratched the metal plate of the car tire. This metal plate was already scratched from previous usages and was reported in the rental contract. However they charged me ~200 euros for this additional scratch--while this plate was full of scratches anyway!! The pick up of the car at the beginning was also another terrible experience- had to literally beg that someone gives a 5 minute explanation of the main points of the car- just as all rental car places do. The female employee that i was in contact with for the rental contract rejected although i have asked twice-said she does not have time for it(?!!), then a male employee " volunteered" to show me the must knows of the car- which is basically the normal service of a car rental. Also, since i was a customer for a long term rental, the administrative tasks took longer and the female employee literally asked my 75 year old father to go and stay outside (it was a below 0 temperature, freezing day) because there was someone else waiting in front of the door ( they had the audacity to kick him out because they want to limit the number of people inside and their administration takes long.) All in all, I feel fully duped by this branch and will NOT use their service ever again. Will also advise to my company (was a rental via my company) to never refer their employees to here.
