Simela finest food: what do users think?

Anna Story: This place is totally awesome. Delicious pizza catering especially for those with food intolerances. The chief was awesome and showed me the separate preparation spaces and ovens for the gluten free buckwheat items. Highly recommend it. Thanks for feeding the boys who for once didn’t go home hungry for lack of options to eat. Vegetarian options: Both meat and vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buckwheat options for coeliac disease as well as catering to other intolerances such as lactose. Low wheat options of spelt.
Response: This is probably one of the most beautiful reviews and shows how open and friendly a review can be. 🙏😊

Sophar Soso: Delicious Buckwheat Pizza and a cute little Shop! If you crave Pizza, but want something more substantial then that's your place;) Super Buchweizen Pizza, genau dad Richtige bei PizzaLust ohne doofes Gluten ;) Vegetarian options: Glutenfree
Response: 🙏😊

G. S.M (GSM_81): Great! Loved the service , the location and the Buckweat mixed Antipasti, Bruscetta and the Pizza …. I was in love will come back very soon - keep on doing what you are doing now! Thank you
Response: 🙏👍🏼

Miguel Ángel Muñoz Cobo: Small Italian place. I would not say it is a real restaurant (6 tables?). It is a convenient place to grab something to eat and mostly to take away. However, very tasty thin pizzas. 100% recommendable.
Response: 🙏😊

Enrico Beltrotti: Great place to eat pizza and similarities. Zaman, the owner himself made sure to explain me his great standards in the kitchen for Coeliacs. Double oven and all measure are taken to make a non contaminated Gluten Free food, which by the way, is very tasty!Come and try!
Response: 😊🙏

Kevin O'Reilly: Made an order off of Uber eats after seeing the 4 and a half start eating and honestly (sad to say) it was quite the mistake. I assume most people rating this highly as they are celiacs, but for someone who can eat gluten this is probably the worst pasta I’ve had all year. Would not recommend. But I wish the business all the best.
Response: Aha, which competition are you from?

suki jenkins: The food was not great, too expensive for what it is and the staff was arguing behind the counter - not great for clients trying to have a stress free lunch. When I said "excuse me!" as the arguing was messing up my lunch hour, the woman mouthed back at me and tried to challenge me. Honestly I work in the neighborhood (almost a neighbor) and thought "why not"? Now I know why and never again. Pizza Saturdays with my colleagues won't support this
Response: where were they eating Expensive? We will be even more expensive in the future. What's what? Why do they choose to eat with us if it's too expensive for them? You don't buy a TV and then complain that the TV is way too small and too expensive...

Magdalena Grodzka: Very tasty pasta and pizza. Salad okay. I ordered many times from them and I am always very happy. The lady on front desk is friendly. Vegetarian options: Possible pizza and pasta Wheelchair accessibility: No steps in the entrance
Response: 🙏😊

Chantal le Roux: Super disappointed in the gluten-free pizza - there are great GF recipes and no reason to use buckwheat that tastes like cardboard with a sour aftertaste. Toppings are sub-standard and overpriced. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere.
Response: Which dough we use is our responsibility and not yours. we have been here for over 13 years and only use the best dough and fresh ingredients, nothing that would suit your Mc Donalds taste

J Somar: Tasty pizzas in a small local. Interesting the healthy option of having the dough made with spelt or buckwheat. Didn’t like that they don’t “have” tap water... sitting outside can be noisy but you can always order to go and eat in the banks of the beautiful Savigny Platz.

Burgerie: what do users think?

Luj M: Super delicious glutenfree Burgers! And fries! Homemade ketchup and mayo!Absolutely fresh, nice service- love it- 100% recommendation!

Tomás Fonseca: Nice burger place in Pberg and super close to the Eberwalder U stop. The burgers were quite tasty and the same for the potato wedges (warm and crispy). The bacon chili cheese had a nice amount of spicy due to the quantity of jalapenos. The burger with pineapple is overall questionable but it might be perfect for a certain crowd. The nachos were a bit expensive for the amount and maybe the burger bun could have been better.

Freya Savage: These burgers are incredible! As someone who cares about quality as well as taste they get a 5 out of 5. The meat is organic and locally sourced, the sauces are homemade, they offer baked potatoes (as well as fries and wedges) the baked potatoes are perfectly cooked without oil. The rye rolls tastes & feels like something Grandma would make, it's scrumptious, soft and juicy. And it's such a reasonable price. The owner seems to also be the one who takes the orders, you can tell he really cares about GREAT food and GREAT service.

Luke Davis: 1 Small Chili Burger (100gm) 1 Sweet Pommes Frites 1 Berliner Pilsner 0.33l (one of Berlin's cheapest beers)5 Total: Just Under 15€ Atmosphere: Outdoor seating and tables, kinda scrappy/shanty, but with a healthy potted flowers on each table. Just a few indoor tables as the establishment is very small. It is located just below and across from the elevated Eberswalder Str U-Bahn station on the very busy Schönhauser Allee with fast automotive traffic, trams, and lots of bikes. Basically, lots and lots of traffic and noise. So be prepared for that. Beer: It was cold, but it wasn't an exceptional beer by any means. Fris: Sweet potato fries are served in a nice frying basket, and was the highlight of my meal. They were hot, crunchy outside, and tender inside. Perfect for dipping in the various sauces on offer. The Burger : Bun was sesame and tasted fresh, but otherwise wasn't eventful. It didn't fall apart despite being overloaded with various toppings. Toppings included roasted bell pepper, pickled jalapenos, tomato slices, onion, pickles, and lettuce. The beef patty was well done, but juicy. The description says it was supposed to have hot chili sauce and sour cream, but I couldn't see or taste either (it might've been due to a communication barrier though). The beef is said to be organic, so that's a plus, but I also really didn't taste it due to the other toppings on the burger. If I go back, I'll do a different burger for sure and update this review.

li-av izhak: Great burger, good price, the owner of the place is very nice

Rüdiger Horst: Very good burgers. And probably best sweet potatoes ever. It’s a small place so if you come in a group make a reservation. Can get pricy, on burger around 8 Euros. Will visit again.

Owen Johnson: I came in with a group of friends - the restaurant was on the smaller side but the man behind the counter was very friendly and able to accommodate us all! As a space, it's not very big but also not cramped, with many fun pictures on the wall. It has a nice vibe! I'm vegan and a friend is gluten free, so it can be difficult to find a place where we can all eat. This worked really well! They've got gluten free buns and vegan tofu sandwiches, in addition to the regular meat and gluten fare. My olive tofu sandwich was very tasty. It's advertised as a burger, but I'd call it more of a sandwich. Still, more than satisfying as a very nice sandwich! The fries were also very very good! All sauces are labelled if gluten free or vegan. Finally, the service was great. The man helping us was very kind and helpful! I haven't had such a good experience as here almost anywhere else in my trip to Berlin yet. Great restaurant!!

oya çeken: Place is gluten free friendly and they have so many good options for hamburgers and sauces. Also they have great taste of music. You can enjoy your meal while listening good music.

L. J.: This burger restaurant trumps with high quality organic meat and buns for people who have lactose/gluten intolerances. You can choose from a large variety of burgers with either 100g, 160g or 230g of meat (extra meat can always be ordered in addition). They also have vegetarian options. I had the best sweet potatoe fries I've had so far! Most of the stuff is self made here, including the mayonnaise, which is outstanding. The prices are absolutely fair and the service very friendly. Unfortunately I only made a picture of one of the muffins they serve for dessert, but I can assure you this restaurant is worth a visit!

Wing Ying Chow: Really tasty burger, juicy and tender with great flavour -- they cook to medium but it is pretty pink in the middle which is how I like it. Burger comes in sizes of 100, 160 and 230g. Seems to only have one member of staff but he is very efficient and seems quite friendly. We came at an odd time between lunch and dinner and the place always has full tables, guess it would be a bit of a wait during lunch/dinner hours.

Cielo Di Berlino: what do users think?

Teigan Owers: Great gluten free options. Friendly service Found this place through research when looking for gluten free friendly restaurants as I am Coeliac. Upon translating the menu it said that their buckwheat gluten free pizzas cannot be kept free from cross contamination which was concerning. But after speaking to the waiter he advised that everything is done separately and that it was okay for those with gluten allergies. The pizza was good and I had no reaction to it and so assume everything was kept gluten free.

Everton Zanella Alvarenga: The place is nice, but the pasta, salad and pizza we ordered were so so, way too expensive for the quality. And it took too long, similarly to other reviews I just read now. A pity, I would come back if the service was faster and the pizza better. Thus this restaurant can be nice just for a beer or wine outside when the weather is good. P. S. I wonder how come the reviews average is above 4 stars.

Martyna G: Very disappointing experience. Everything was simply wrong: gluten-free pizza may contain traces of gluten (=celiac unsafe), pizzas were dry, quite impossible to eat (after waiting ~1 hr), rude, eyerolling personell, shabby interior. The top was when we found dishes included in the bill, which were not ordered (in German, of course). Waiter did not apologize for that either.

Patrizia B: Don’t go if you have celiac disease - A huge sign outside saying it’s got dedicated pizza for celiacs, but just a quick look at the menu and there is a disclaimer that the pizza can be contaminated. When asking about it I was told that the pizza is 99% gluten-free; even though it’s not made in a separate area nor separate oven…99% gluten-free doesn’t mean anything for people with celiac; either it’s gluten-free and without chance of contamination or it is not safe to eat. Don’t claim you’re celiac-safe if you’re not! It’s dangerous for our health and false advertising.

Bryndís Hafliðadóttir: Very nice gluten-free pizzas, one of the best spots in Berlin. They also have a variety of pastas and salads which are tasty. The staff is nice and the pricing is reasonable. The location is a bit out of the center and can be difficult to reach easily but it's worth it!

Nicole Cross: The best gluten free pizza I have ever had! Very good service. Delicious gluten free pizza and panna cotta. There was an option for lactose free cheese (good for vegans and those with lactose intolerance). You can even sit down and enjoy a German gluten free beer. Next time I go to Berlin, I'll definitely return!

Tatyana Egle: We were waiting for pizza one hour! The restaurant didn’t look very full. When pizza arrived it was burned, totally dry. The wine was very hot. The waiter didn't even apologise.

Ruan Macedo: The proposal to offer food to allergy sufferers is a big differential. My girlfriend is celiac and could eat pizza after years, and the taste was great! Thank you! The pizzas are great and with a lot of options, the ambience and the service made me feel at home!

Kate Wirth: Great spot for gluten-free buckwheat pizza! Dough made separately from wheat-based pizzas to cut down on gluten cross-contamination. Salads are also delicious and there's usually more than one GF dessert option as well. A bit out of the way and hard to find parking nearby, it's worth the effort.

David Aldave: THE WORST EXPERIENCE! I went with some friends yesterday and we wait for almost 2 hours for 4 pizzas and 1 salat. When my pizza arrived, it was not even warm anymore and pizza was not even well made, it looked actually burned. I wonder why they take so long? When we asked the waiter, he blamed it on the rain, and claimed there was 'too many people'. The place was not even crowded and... EVEN WORST? they were not eager to apologize for this or offer something to make up for the inconvenience. Honestly, if you appreciate your money and time, pay attention before you enter here. Never again here!

Simela Finest Food: what do users think?

Kathryn Meyer: This place had stellar reviews for gluten free pizza which is why we decided to come. I found that the gluten free pizza was fine but not great. I did appreciate that they had a lactose free option, though. Keep in mind it costs an extra euro for lactose free and as you would expect, the gluten free pizzas are more expensive. I ordered the salami pizza and the salami was super spicy. I liked it, but may not be for everyone. My partner ordered a regular anchovy pizza and said it was delicious. We did wait a while for our food because there was only one server.
Response: Thank you 😊 🙏

Nathalie: The service was nice, although the door was kept open by some customers and it got cold inside. I asked for the gluten free and lactose free Hot Salami Pizza with buckwheat. I cannot say I liked it. It tasted like cheese and salami on a dark tortilla, maybe a blend of gluten free flours would suit best for a pizza.
Response: 🙏

Christakis Psyllides: Fantastic selection of pizzas and pasta dishes at reasonable prices. Maybe a small issue with only one of our 3 pizzas were the right temperature hence the 4 star rating. A real find and great value for money. Recommended as long as you take note of the temperature of the pizzas. Mine was the the fantastic Pizza Scampi. Wonderful........as was the glass of Rose wine.
Response: thank you very much and love🙏😊❤️

Bijan Kholghi: Amazing Pizza. Especially the glutenfree options. Glutenfree pizza, pasta, even Bruschetta and Tiramisu. So its a heaven for glutenfree guests. 😀 Also Vegan cheese for vegans available. Highly recommended!!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Response: 😊🙏

Adrian Popescu: Quite a hidden gem for celiacs or those looking for gluten free food. The buckwheat gluten free pizza with very thin crust was just amazing. Better than many other alternatives the city has to offer. We also had a gluten free carbonara, decent as well. No issues the next days from cross-contamination either. The staff was friendly, although we went on a week day at 10PM. Very helpful and reassuring about the food and our allergies. Can only recommend the food! The white wine, however, was below average 😅
Response: 😊🙏

janis: We woke up at 2pm and was hungry from yesterdays clubbing. We go to Kebap and eat very good kebap for 6euro! Next we go sightseeing and go eat some icecream but like ao many calories i didnt need to eat lunch. Next we fo to the Brandenburg Gate which is cool so obviously we were thirsty and hungry. We go to the Berlin wall monument and try finding pizzeria, first full, and we find this place where we sit in basement and chill. I like the beer and my pizza with tuna was cool af but my friends "pizza rozmeria schjinken" was burnt about 21% (bottom side black). We like atmosphere and food quality but friend unlucky with burnt otger side. Go eat if you want to sit and relax but...
Response: Why you dont tell this!!!! They will make you a New one

Nicholas Delkeskamp: The pizza is delicious for sure. It’s a very cute and warm atmosphere inside and outside. I honestly didn’t like the gluten free pizza but my fiancé liked it (+) the pizza is delicious (+) amazing ambience (+/-) I had better gluten-free pizza in other places (but I didn’t have to eat it :D and my fiancé liked it and that counts) (-) the pizza could have had more toppings

Mry Misiorowska: Friendly place with very tasty gluten-free pizzas (vegetarian and vegan options also available). The pan was tasty, crispy and tasted a little bit like buckwheat. There were also gluten-free noodles and desserts (tiramisu, panna cotta, tarts) in the menu, as well as beer. I recommend!
Response: 😘😊🙏

Athul Jayachandran: Came with colleagues for lunch, the food was great, everyone liked it and very friendly service. Will visit again with family.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Jan M. Oland: The Simela in Koppelpl is not the finest food. Its average glutenfree pizza served in a place that are in high need of maintenance. Not impressed by their service either.

AERA: what do users think?

JaeHee Chang: Amazing lemon poppy cookie and basque cheese cake! I was quite impressed by the texture of cookie. I didn’t try their coffee but want to go back for another coffee break. I did a takeout and their wrapping paper (for cookie) made another experience. Highly recommended!!

Ido Simyoni: I was desperately looking anywhere in Berlin for gluten free and vegan banana bread so I can’t even express how happy I was to find this boutique gluten free bakery. I got 3 banana breads and the scones and everything tasted amazing. Just like the banana bread I make back home. I also took the baguette and I was able to sneak it in to a restaurant I had brunch in and they didn’t have gluten free bread. Definitely will go back to this place and highly recommended. Take in mind that if you come late / close to closing - most things will be sold out as they bake every day fresh .

Naomi Ford: Great gluten free bakery! It’s tucked away in a very peaceful courtyard with both indoor and outdoor seating. Best grilled cheese I’ve ever had.

Kali Hardwick: I had a delicious lunch and coffee at Aera. I highly recommend a stop here to all gluten free individuals, or anyone who wants proof they gluten free baked goods are amazing! I will definitely return next time I’m in Berlin.

Sarasati Palawita: Very delicious and gluten-free bread! I like the banana bread! It was sooo good! The coffee is also good. Only the place is too small so you need to come at the right time to get a place to sit ;)
Response: Dear Sarasati - thanks a lot for your visit! So happy you liked the banana bread :) Wishing you all the best from the AERA team

Aryadeep Chakraborty: Excellent gluten-free food here! The cheddar scone was exquisite, couldn’t get enough of it! The cheesecake was so yummy that we’ve to get back there. The coffee was a bit average though, food is on point. 5 out of 5 for exceeding expectations.

Jenny Gaida: Stylish bakery. However my oat cappuccino tasted like sugary oat milk. I could taste any coffee. The LEMON COOKIE is nothing more than just super oily! It was nice to see this place but the high prices are not worth to come back.

Lisa: A cute little space away from the extremely touristy Kudamm in the middle of Kudamm. The fountain makes the entire space a relaxing place to hang out. Good coffe and fancy bakery and pastry options. Bakery concept at its finest.

Jan M. Oland: Great backalley location, awesome interior and atmosphere. They have the best glutenfree grilled cheese sandwich I’ve tasted and good service. Nice!

K.L.: A must-visit if you are a celiac. Super-friendly staff, good vibes and good music. They told us that everything was gluten free. Cheesecake was amazing. Water is kept in lukewarm bottles on a self-serving table, so it’s probably better to pay for a coffee or a drink.

CousCous Café & Bistro: what do users think?

Enisha Eshwar: As of now, my absolute favourite place in Berlin. It is always the small places that truly surprise you. Amazingly, tasty food. I love the couscous bowl with veggies and avacado. It is run by a very sweet person - Gabriel who does all the work himself. What really amazed me is- i visited this place one day and on my 2nd visit after a few days, he just saw me and remembered what I ordered :) How amazing is that! I've found my happy place :) If you go during peak lunch hour between 12.30-2, you will have to wait a while. Plan accordingly or be ready to wait. You won't regret it.

Sasha: I had the falafel and avocado burrito - amazing food and really good value for money!

Samantha Grunow: Overall a bit disappointed in our experience. The service was excellent, the food was okay, but neither were worth the price (of the teller) - the man at the counter explained the menu and was very kind. The food also was relatively yummy, but we were disappointed in a lack of "umph" we somehow expected from the reviews we'd seen... The falafel were nice and fluffy but the outside was more like a skin than a crust, so there was no crunch, and the couscous had nice flavor but we also ordered grilled vegetables (€4) and there weren't many in the dish. Overall I payed €14,60 for one plate with couscous, 3 pieces of falafel, and some grilled veggies. I felt like this was a reasonable price for a nice meal, but what I got was fairly average, and definitely not worth more than two burritos (which I could have gotten for under €12) - overall I wouldn't recommend to go out of your way but would happily suggest stopping in for another option from the menu if you're walking by.

Jessica Ibarra: It's a great local cafe with delicious food! My husband got the couscous with chicken. I highly recommend the falafel teller. The owner is friendly and speaks English, which was a plus for us!

Roberto Arsiè: My favourite place in the area for a quick and tasty lunch! The halloumi - avocado sandwich is amazing and I must have eaten 1000 of them without getting tired :)

Filip Machat: Nice bistro with a lot of options for vegetarian, vegan, and some gluten free options. Very reasonably priced and delicious. Had the falafel and sweet potato burrito, really liked it.

Borja Latorre: Great tasty and healthy food with plenty of vegan options. We had the pumpkin-avocado-grilled veggies burrito and the falafel sweet potato plate and it was delicious and the portion very filling. Maybe a bit expensive but the quality is worth it

Will Fischer: Delicious food, but the service went above and beyond. When my girlfriend had a coughing fit, he was out with a friendly glass of water in no time. Really a kind, gracious gesture that meant a lot to us!

Alex C: Great place to get lunch. Not vegetarian (as google says) but plenty of vegetarian options.

Łukasz Pudło: Delicious, fresh food, I advise you to visit for vegetarians and gluten-free people Vegetarian options: Delicious Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free

Suzette crêperie: what do users think?

Matteo Maso: Nice place! Even if there are not explicit Vegan options in the menu the guy suggested me a lot of tasty alternatives. I would work a bit on the plate presentation though. The taste is very nice with a lot of interesting combination. 😋

Annabelle B.: Great creperie in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, totally French. Wide range of "galettes" and "crepes", good wine and yummy cider. Absolutely adorable staff. Hotly recommended, I'll be back!
Response: Thank you very much!

Katie J: Highly recommend Suzette crêperie! All savoury gallettes are gluten free (gluten frei), thin, crispy and delicious. Perfect lunch for coeliacs, or those with no dietary requirements alike. We didn't get a chance to try the sweet crêpe options because we were full, but we hope to have another opportunity to try these soon. Don't miss out on this culinary hidden gem near Mauerpark, Berlin!
Response: Thank you so much!

Tamara Menéndez: Awesome creperie in Prenzlauer berg! The best are their gluten free options.Small local. Only handmade food! Delicious

ton: Very authentic and delicious Crêpes, with a really nice staff and sitting outside the restaurant on a hungover sunday afternoon is really the vibe 👍🏼
Response: Thank you so much!

gian Yin: ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Excellent quality food, Kind customer service and It's also dog-friendly. It is a galette from Bretagne and the taste is authentic!!!This price is very kind for this taste! !! I really recommend this cute French place❤️❤️❤️
Response: Thank you so much !

Anna: Great restaurant offering delicious gluten-free galettes and (gluten-containing) crêpes. I have celiac disease and always feel great after eating at Suzette. Staff is very friendly too.

René Nielsen: Wanted to have a French breakfast/lunch - and seen this shop a couple of times, when just walking by. Walked there on a decent sunshine day, with the girlfriend - and chose to sit outside, the "chef" was attentive and came almost immediately - so we had to ask for a little more time. When we ordered the Galettes, they came fast after, and tasted delicious as expected. Dessert was a Crépe, and it delivered to the fullest.

hagay isaak: Service is great and staff were very kind, crepes were just ok

Fion F: It’s a good place for Crêpe. I had L’Oranger, the Crêpe with some chocolate cream and a few slices of orange soaked with some wine and set one fire. It tastes just right, with slight scent of orange und mild sweetness of chocolate. Also love the Cappuccino. The coffee bean is roasted and smells good. Highly recommended!

FACTORY GIRL: what do users think?

Devar Beckford: The waiting list said 50 minutes but we were seated after a 10-15 minute wait. We had a seat right by the front glass. We loved the layout and design of the restaurant. We decided to give the vegetation meals a try and they were beyond amazing. The dishes were well put together and we did not have to wait very long for our food to arrive. Overall the service we received, the quality of the food, the look, and feel of the restaurant made this a very memorable visit. We definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast while in Berlin.
Response: Hi, Devar. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!

Itz Cernohorska: This place is absolutely amazing. We went for Sunday brunch and although it was quite busy, we waited about 30 minutes max to get out food ready. The Turk’s Mom eggs are the best I’ve ever had. And the cinnamon buns are very good. Already looking forward to come back.
Response: Thanks, Itz, we're so glad you've had a good experience at FACTORY GIRL!

Ivana: Came here twice before writing this review. Both of times quite a lot of things from menu was already not available and we had to wait long for our food. Which I can understand as it’s very busy place. Not sure if the food was worth waiting (first waiting to be seasoned, then for food to arrive). Eggs were bit tasteless and pancakes were not fluffy. In overall was our experience not bad but nothing I have to do it again.
Response: Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that your experience with us was not the best. We strive to deliver the best quality food and service to our customers and we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We will use your feedback to help us improve our menu and service. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.

Aslı Özcivelek: This is a nice breakfast option. There is a waiting list and the wait time can be up to an hour. The space is cosy and very casual. Not too spacious and the table heights with the chairs were a bit uncomfortable for proper eating. The menu has Turkish influences and offers a good variety. The staff was nice. There was a mix up on our second round of coffees but other than that it was a good experience. I’m not sure if overall it’s worth waiting for an hour. It’s not a exceptional place.
Response: Hello Aslı; I am sorry to hear that your experience was not what you were expecting. I will share your feedback with the team in order to help us improve our service and make sure all guests are catered to.

Sunita Shah: Go early! So happy we decided to have breakfast here! It was really delicious - everything was super fresh and tasty. The staff was incredibly nice and patient. We got there about 10 mins after the opened and got a table right away. By the time we left there was a line outside. If you're looking for a delicious meal with great coffee, eat here!
Response: That's so nice of you Sunita - thank you from the team!

Anuka Pokharel: Super friendly staff, good drinks, and a decent ambience. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because although the food was good, it wasn’t mind-blowing or exceptional. I usually like to go our for brunch hoping to eat something i couldnt make myself, esp given the prices here.. but i enjoyed my experience
Response: here.Hi Anuka, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're glad to hear you had a good experience overall and that our staff was friendly. We apologize that the food wasn't as exceptional as you had hoped. We are always trying to improve our menu and we appreciate your honest feedback. We hope you'll come back and try something new next time!

Mohit Jain: Definitely over hyped and not worth the price and the wait! While waiting time is outside their control for being seated but running out of food options (mushroom, tofu etc etc) and then long serving time with questionable portion size that leaves you wondering if it’s worth the hype & the cost ! The food in itself is good but not different from any other decent vegan restaurant which are good enough in number in Berlin. Dessert is a good saving grace.
Response: We apologize for the long wait time and lack of food options. We strive to provide excellent service and quality food to all of our customers and this experience did not meet our standards. We hope you can give us another chance in the future to show you what we're capable of. Thank you for your feedback.

Ange: Very good quality and taste. Perfect to enjoy some Bruch with friends. I would say is a little bit overpriced. Also remind to book a table in advance or you’ll be waiting for ages. They have a website where you can apply for a table and check your position in the line that’s handy.
Response: Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoyed the quality and taste of the brunch. We understand that it might be a bit overpriced and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are happy to let you know that you can book a table in advance through our website, which we hope will make the reservation process smoother. Thank you again for your feedback.

Alex Wesson: Nice little nook in Berlin! Good atmosphere and the portions are very filling. Worth the wait. Would recommend before noon as the line can get busy. Mint tea was awesome.
Response: Hi, Alex. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!

Katie Mai: Worth the hype! Go on a weekday if you can - no wait when we went. The vegan options were amazing. Highly recommend
Response: Hi, Katie; thanks for sharing your experience with us. We are so happy to hear that you had a good time on your visit with us.

No Milk Today: what do users think?

Madison Vojak: LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Tried for the first time and there was so many delicious options, I couldn’t decide what to get. The coffee was rich and delicious, along with the spinach quiche, tofu scramble and bagel sandwich. The vibe is upscale cafe with comfy couches and cool art. Outdoor sitting is great, and kid dog/friendly
Response: Thank you Madison, we LOVE your review 😉

cait j.: Perfect breakfast place for vegans! 100% no animal products here and in a very cool street, too! Only issue we had was that food and drinks were quite expensive, but certainly worth the money🥂
Response: Thank you very much, we really appreciate your great review :-)

Maayan Kline: One of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Really! Vegan, gf Delicious desserts and shakes Loved the quiche My husband loved the bagel! (Not gf) Going to go again before we leave berlin
Response: Many thanks for your great feedback! Hope to see you again soon ☺️

Anne-marie Kelly: Love this cafe! I've never had a liquid apple pie before - the tastiest drink ever! Wonderfully friendly staff and very fair prices too. Definitely worth the visit 🐝
Response: Dear Anne Marie, thank you very much for taking the time to write this great review! We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us so much! See you next time, your nmt team

Daga Rzadkowska (Das): A very lovely place to grab breakfast at. I wasn’t disappointed with the dishes and freshly squeezed juice. The popularity shows in the amount of patrons that visit, but it’s definitely worth it :)
Response: Thank you very much 💜

Dasha R: A paradise for vegans and pastry lovers😋They have a great variety of cakes. Everything was very nice and the prices are good as well. Very recommended.
Response: 😍Thank you Dasha, your review is very valuable to us 💕

Devin Scott: Cute vegan cafe with outdoor seatings and lots of options. Has gluten free options. A bit under seasoned for my taste but pretty good.

Steffi E: Loved the place: the vegan cakes (huge selection), coffee and the vibe were great! We had raw cheese cake, donauwelle and tiramisu

Manuel Cocco: Good vegan place, coffee is good and everything is homemade. We loved the bagel and the spinach "quiche" (it's really more of a tart); the cinnamon roll was a bit dry. Also, prices are not too high and doesn't get as crowded as other brunch places in the area.

Marika Grochowska: small and very cozy place with really many choices of cakes and drinks 😊 amazing taste of everything 😋 tastes even better when u know that is completely vegan 😊😊 highly recommended 😋
Response: Thanks Marika, for taking the time to write such a great review 💜

Witty's Currywurst: what do users think?

Jacob Warner: Such an incredible service! I loved the attendant and got such great food! We got the curry wurst without skin, and loved the typical German food feel. The food was great, but any drinks are very expensive. The wursts come covered with curry powder and swimming in ketchup. There’s a small outdoor dining area next to the shop with several tables as well. If you’re looking for a quick stop in downtown Berlin, this is a great place to be!
Response: Dear Jake, we are super happy and we are having a big smile on our face while reading your lovely review. THANK YOU for brightening our day. Stay save! WITTY's Friedrichstraße

Tilman Benecke: Back in Berlin for three days and so far I've only really seen friendly people. in this place it was the exact opposite. Such an unfriendly saleswoman who snarled at me stupidly because I stood in front of the door. There was obviously no warning sign. the sausage tastes pretty bland and has that typical rubbery skin. the rolls could be from the day before yesterday. they were hard as stone and tough as leather. Pooh.
Response: Hello Tilman, thank you for visiting us and leaving us a review. We apologize that we could not fulfill your expectations. Could you please send me an email to info@wittys-berlin.de? I would like to get more details and find a way to to apologize with you. Our sausages are made with premium meat parts only and with highest "Bioland" standard. Everyting we serve is certified organic and with super high quality. If you did not like the rubbery skin of the currysausage better try one without skin the next time you come visit us. Best regards from WITTY'S Berlin and we still hope to have you around soon.

Paul Nakhleh: Amazing experience overall. Friendly person behind the counter helped us choose our order and recommended some sauces. Everything was delicious and memorable. Thank you!
Response: This sounds awesome. Thank you for this super nice review and of course for your visit. All the best.

Kathryn Meyer: The sausages and fries (only fries are fried in the oil) are gluten free. The only thing not gluten free are the rolls. When I asked what was gluten free, it was offered to use a clean knife and utensils (for cutting the sausage). Food was delish, I got the currywurst (no sauce just because I'm personally not a huge fan), and fries. Was great to have a quick gf safe food option.
Response: Hello Kathryn, thank you so much for this lovely review and for your visit. I am very happy to hear this. Stay save! x

A. K.: All wurst is gluten free. The french fries boiled in dedicated oil. Curry wurst was just awesome. Its a small place, under the railway, but clean, so dont be surprised.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Response: Thank you so much for this great review and your visit :-) We hope to see you again soon.

Jessica T: The currywurst is so good! The chips were fab. The woman working was a superhero, working completely on her own and banging out orders with a smile.
Response: Dear Jessica, wow! Thank you for this fantastic review :-) We'll pass the greetings on to our superhero Currysta <3

Alan W.: Tasty Currywurst + friendly and fast working staff. Prices are ok.👍Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Klongthip Teerarassamee: Super yummy - It’s delicious curry wurst .. my choice is the smoked traditional german sausage. Spicy yummy 😊

Igor Elez: Well, it is the traditional Berlin wurst, but the taste is just not there. Service is good.Food: 3/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Mariko Pond: I walked in because the place looked busy and I needed something quick to eat. Sausage and fries were okay, but nothing great. They also add way too much ketchup and mayo on the food! Ask for less upfront!

Glutenfreie Bäckerei Konditorei Eis Voh: what do users think?

Roy Grossman: A very nice Kiez Cafe serving gluten free, lactose free and vegan products. They have great coffee and delicious desserts. You can buy cakes, cookies or bread to take home. They also have good selections of soup and gluten free pasta. Definitely a place to visit if you desire homemade food that is gluten free, lactose free and/or vegan. The service is very friendly! Will definitely come more!

Erin Skipper: All of the cakes and sweets that they had looked amazing but I don't eat sweets so I can't comment on them. They had a nice variety of gluten free goods and big bags of gluten free pasta. I wish I could comment on the breads because I traveled over an hour to visit this bakery and they didn't have any breads in stock. I should have called before i made such a long trip just to buy bread :/ So I would definitely advise that you call ahead if you are going to check this place out.

Jacob Harrison-Rose: An absolute gem! A great place to enjoy some delicious gluten and lactose free treats. Will definitely visit again very soon

Kristin Forsberg: Totally glutenfree and celiac friendly, a variety of cakes and products in the shop. Only seating outside. The cakes we tried were ok but nothing special, there are other more centrally located glutenfree bakeries that are better. Both times we were visiting, the staff was extremely rude and unfriendly, which made us not wanting to come back.

Francisco Ramirez: Cakes and bread are great. The lady attending is extremely rude and not very polite with foreigners. We stopped going for two years because of her rudeness. Even bought a bread making machine, to make our own gluten-free bread. Ocasionally we return to the shop but regret it every time because of her behaviour.

Yaron Ganot: Very good gluten free bread and cakes and pastry.

Adam Tabachnikoff: Lots of options and friendly service - good location and fair prices. A life saver when our Gluten free friends were visiting!

Mattia Parise: Nice and cozy place for breakfast or lunch. The gluten free bread is the best i had in Berlin so far.

Ken E: Nice little cafe. They serve ice cream without lactose and cake without gluten (wheat free) that has a very nice consistency and tastes very good, too. They also sell other small warm foods like gluten free pizza. I would mainly recommend the cake though. It is also very inexpensive. The owner isn't the most friendly person in town ;) You'll have to deal with that.

Olesia: Honestly i expected more. The choice is small. The poppy seed cake was full of sugar.

Hard Rock Cafe: what do users think?

Bradley Roberts: We are big fans of Hard Rock Cafe and try to visit them everywhere we go. Food and drink were great as always and atmosphere lively. Service was amazing from Rakel who served us and can't recommend enough. Always worth a visit when passing by

Simo Kettunen: The place was full, but got a seat by the bar counter. It wasn't bad at all, since received personal service from the bartender. Perhaps drank a few drinks more than planned, but everything was very tasty. The atmosphere was cheerful particularly when singing happy birthday :)

Laura Rose: Great place to take a big family! food was tasty and served promptly. We had a super nice waitress too!

Gustavo Publio: The place is awesome. Service is great, food is amazing: I've picked the most traditional Legendary Burger and it was incredible tasty, with perfect fried and oil-free French fries. You might get a table besides Eric Clapton's guitar, Rammstein's e-guitar, or John Lennon's jacket. And obviously all of this with a nice rock playlist in the background.

Bordeaux (Red Duelist): Food was great and staff was very nice, but for a Hard Rock Cafe there was surprisingly not a lot of rock music played, there was Pharrell Williams - happy, and even Don't Worry, be Happy. Live music was okay at best, mostly off tone. The food and beers were great however.

Viktoriia Makusheva: Oh, now it's my favorite place with ribs😋 I'm kinda ribs lover, I'm trying it in every restaurant if it has it on the menu. And believe me, here are the best ribs ever❤ Gonna visit it again and again when would have a chance. I also recommend trying cheesecake. It's delicious. Firstly, we took one piece and after ordered one more)

Jonas Lang: It's the best Hard Rock Café i've visited so far and i've been all around Europe already. The food is very delicious and the staff, especially Cosmine and the Lady with the dreads, are so nice and polite. I recommend it and will definitely come again! Enjoy!

Cezara Iacoboaei: This year, for the first time, we decided to order a Thanksgiving lunch takeout 🦃 Everything was wonderful: the packaging, the instructions on how to heat the food, and the food itself! The pie was our favorite 🥧😋Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Kuba J.: We had great evening with my colleagues at HRC. The waitress Raquel who took care of us is the most wonderful, friendly and joyful person I ever met in any restaurant in my whole life. Thank you Raquel so so much! You should open academy for teaching people in hospitality business how to treat guests :)

Scott N: Wherever I go abroad, I always visit a Hard Rock Cafe. The one in Berlin was a good one and had a great time. Cocktails and food were delicious and happy hour was great too.

Celia HF: Adorable bakery next to Victoria Park where you have the choice to take away or eat in. The bakery is 100% gluten free which is amazing for coeliacs I tried "Zint Franz Brötchen" which I was informed is a Berlin speciality. The standard version is with Cardamom but I am a fan of Cinnamon. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for some gluten free snacks in Berlin.
Response: Thank you Celia. We appreciate your detailed review!

Alex: There can never be too many gluten free bakeries in Berlin! Overall it is an aesthetic bakery, kind and helpful workers, great customers, and tasty food and desserts. However, if you are a celiac like me who cannot eat some grains as it triggers a reaction, they did not have many options without oats and primarily use buckwheat flour. Four stars simply because I think it is time that amazing gluten free bakeries such as this one learn to bake truly gluten free: without grains that cause celiacs minor reactions! Otherwise, the pesto sandwich was absolutely delicious and I will be coming back for more!
Response: Thanks Alex!

lil Sunshine: Wonderful place with great gluten-free goods! In love with the lemon poppyseed cake, the vegan donut (Berliner) was amazing as well. I’ve tried the Teff baguette and the small walnut bread, both have great taste, moisture, crust and crump. Everything is organic, they don’t use any corn flour or starch and there are sugar free options. I’ll come back for sure and highly recommend this place and not only if you’re gluten intolerant!
Response: Thank you so much, Lil Sunshine. Your review is going a long way, we're grateful for the kind words and your appreciation of our work. Feel free to drop by anytime.

Talea Hennings-Huep: Cozy ambience, delicious vegan and gluten-free bread and pastries… spend the whole afternoon working here, while listening to the soft music in the background. I will come back for sure!
Response: We'd be very happy to have you again. Many many thanks !

Adrian Popescu: Dream-place for locals! A bit pricey, but somehow to be expected from an all glutenfree Konditorei. The muffins with cinnamon are just an amazing combination with coffee and the bread is worth trying out (not comparable to Schar products). You can also have breakfasts or brunch inside, but it is usually crowded
Response: Thank you for your lovely review.

Utty Sayami: Amazing! The pizza was so flavoursome. The pesto on it, ever so aromatic. The combination of the mushrooms & potatoes, just worked so well together. The dough was not dry at all, even after sitting for a bit, with the perfect amount of chew. The dark chocolate cake was rich, the crisp almonds on top adding to the overall texture. The plum tart was AMAZING! The biscuity base was perfectly balanced with the tart filling and the whole baked plums. Sweet and acidic with the filling of the tart and biscuit working so well together. Not pictured is the banana bread. Again, so moist and fluffy. Again, even after having sat for a whole before eating. The nuts providing another textural element to the moistness and fluffiness of the loaf. Everything gluten free, everything yummy! Beautiful space, beautiful hosts.
Response: dear Utty. We should print your review and hang it in our kitchen. It's so motivating and heart warming to read your detailed description. thank you!

Nurjona Pinguri: Such a cute spot in Berlin. Affordable coffee, good music, tasty treats and everyone is very friendly. I tried the sourdough cinnamon roll and it was excellent! Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.
Response: Thank you so much Nurjona! Come back

Nelly D.: Gluten-free paradise!!The staff is nice. The sandwiches are delicious. If you’re vegan and does not want gluten. This place is a must !!
Response: Thank you a million Nelly

Nathalie: The service was amazing. The pesto sandwich very good. The sourdough-cinnamon roll was interesting. I’d give it a try tho.
Response: Thank you for visiting, and leaving us with a good review. You're always welcome

Ewa Siegel: I had truly amazing coffee this morning and bought gluten-free bread for my friend. People are very friendly here. I really like this place ❤️
Response: Thank you so much :)

Café Nullpunkt: what do users think?

Xana: The food was delicious. But I really struggle to understand why a so called vegan place (for food) has cows milk as the regular milk for coffee. They even charge extra for the plant based milks. That really puts me off and I’m not going back because of that. When I asked why, they told me that they want to have options… that’s sounds weird.
Response: Dear Xana Thank you for your feedback. We actually did recently decide to remove all the cow milk from our menu/cafe and we no longer charge extra for the plant based milks. Thank you for your patience, as we are learning to be better every day. Hope you change your mind about a future visit! Have a nice day

Marshall Yount: Excellent vegan food in northern Kreuzberg. This was the best vegan Caesar salad I’ve had. Chai tea was A+. Only weak spot in the meal was that the quiche was a little dry. But the peanut butter cookie for dessert really put the experience over the top.

Charlie Rosenberg: Delicious! The bread is scrumptious and the inside even better. This was the roasted vegetable sandwich. If you like potato and feta get this!

Ralph Gloor: Holy Moly, the White beans on Sourdough bread with Sundried Tomato Hummus, Roasted cherry tomatoes, Garlic Herbs mushrooms and Feta crumbs is such a flavorful, rich and textured experience - I’ll be back for sure. (😍🌱)

Nathalie: Very nice place, all gluten free and vegan. Good service as well! Got the hummus, veggies and bread, it was very delicious, healthy and filing... and I did not get sick.

Eleonora Borghetto: Been here for a quick lunch. As other people said in previous reviews, even if the restaurant is “vegan and gluten free”, some of the ingredients that they use contain animal products (such as the honey in bread, which was indicated in the menu). The portions are a little bit small but the taste in overall is great. They cooked the vegetables right away they took my order, and this was super appreciated even though it took a little bit of time to get the food. I loved the fact that they also have vegan alternatives like vegan feta cheese. There are some things that can be improved (for example, going 100% vegan) but it’s still a good place for vegans. I’d definitely recommend this place!
Response: Dear Eleonora, thank you for your feedback. As you said, there is still space for improvement. Our goal IS to be 100% vegan, We are learning every day and want to be better. We look forward to your next visit! Have a nice day and thanks again.

Axel S: Wow, excellent cafe style restaurant. Vegan, gluten-free and organic, hard to find! Delicious, Super friendly and cozy (fireplace). Thank you, keep doing great work!

Just Customer: The tastiest tofu eggs (not smoked) in brioche and not too sweet hot chocolate.Very kind and polite staffWell done, definitely will come again

Victoria Dombrowe: The vegan Gnocchi and quiche are both amazing so are the drinks !! Lovely interior with very friendly staff we had a great time.

DAR F: The place is beautiful. The guy at the bar was super cute to us... But the other guy was too busy to make us feel welcomed... We felt uncomfortable, took a TA of vegan croassante (which was not fresh and not tasty...) And a nice ginger tea.
Response: Hello Dar, we're sorry you did not felt comfortable here. Was it very busy when you came? We hope that you'll come back again and have a more relaxed time. Thank you for your opinion.

Oliver Römisch: We had 2 Burgers and sweet potato fries. Burgers and fries were delicious and juicy. Unfortunately, Buns and Patty were just warm, thus after some minutes of chewing the first bit, the rest became cold. Fries were served hot though. The "belly-space" at the tables is limited, so if you have not trained for a triathlon for the last year, it can become a little claustrophobic taking a seat.... Heating is not available so prepare for a cold meal when it's also cold outside (we had a 1° C that day)

Jana F: Loved the different patty options. My chili bean burger was tasty and the sweet potato fries were very crispy! It takes a bit to get the burger, but it's worth the wait. Will come back!
Response: Thanks a lot Jana❤️

Joana Silva: The burguers are absolutely delicious and everything is homemade. I appreciate that it’s not your typical beyond burger, but homemade patties with legumes. The sweet potato fries are also wonderful and the staff is incredibly nice and kind. I can only recommend!

Hanna: Great vegan burgers, I tested mushroom and lentil pattie and it was full of umami! Also very crispy fries! Bbq mayo was very smoky and delicious as well!

YN W: I don't understand the good reviews for this place at all. As someone who has visited a lot of vegan restaurants, this was one of the most disappointing food experiences for me. We tried different burgers and they were both tasting weird and the patties were very dry, the burgers were also quite small. The fries were the worst I've had anywhere by far: tiny, way overcooked and tasteless, it felt better to just leave them. I wouldn't recommend this place

Juliana Jaen: Excellent real vegan burger. And the fries are amazing!

lilach daniel: We waited 30+ min for our food. They are more focused on Wolt deliveries than they’re with the costumers that are inside. Food was oily but tasted good, fries were crispy. The beepers they gave don’t even work! There’s no bathroom, no place to sit comfortably and no fresh air, as the restaurant smells from oil To be honest wouldn’t recommend to sit inside maybe it’s better when doing take away

Dirk Jan van Lonkhuyzen: Really good. Delicious burger and great fries.

Sandra N: Abysmal experience. Ordered the Oyster–Shitake burger. Patty was ice cold and sauce just slathered on a lettuce leaf with a huge chunk of tomato. Definitely gave the impression of absolutely no care from the kitchen. Cutlery was dirty. Overall one of the poorest of culinary vegan experiences in Berlin; save your dimes and go to the many other impressive vegan eateries in Berlin which show more care.

Sebastian Grünberg: Good vegan burgers and plenty of well tasting French fries, but be prepared to wait some time!!!! It was not especially crowded but we had to wait for our food roughly 40 minutes (!). However, it was worth the waiting and due to the extra long Time we got a nice dessert for free. Would come back, but if you are in a hurry, maybe not the place for (fast) vegan food.
Response: Hey Sebastian! Thanks for the review and the kind words. Happy you loved the food. Sorry you had to wait for a while. Sometimes, even if the restaurant doesn't look super busy, it's actually post-peak time, and the team must recover from a large peak. Waiting times are usually much shorter than what you describe. Hope to see you again soon!
