Badenscher Hof: what do users think?

Luana Ma.Be.: Original German Kneipe, but also Restaurant and special Jazz Cafè. The vintage athmosphere of professional jazz musicians in Berlin. Yesterday was the turn of Lionel Haas Band, Lionel is one of the talented jazz piano in Berlin more than 20 years on the Berlin scene. Look at the program he plays, there is here at B. again and in other jazz cafes.

Rochi Moran: We just stopped by randomly for a beer and were very happily surprised by the nice atmosphere and super friendly service! We’ll definitely be stopping by again, hopefully to listen to some live jazz!

Diederik Hammer: Good (German) food, good beer, nice atmosphere. So if you are the neighborhood and fancy some, go here.

Noel Fernandes: Love this place as it has a really cool vibe. Before Corona the place had live jazz bands playing. I miss those times but otherwise, it's still a great place with good service. I always feel like home here.

Sylvia Lotz: Great jazz music venue. Staff could be friendlier, but admitably it was really busy.Ok for a quick bite, good beer.

Erik Wilde: Great local music club which has several concerts throughout the week. We were there for “blues wednesday” and it was absolutely wonderful. Not very crowded and I hope that usually, they have better attendance. Drinks and food are ok, but don’t expect anything special or fancy.

Alexander Collo: The only club in Berlin where you can have real jazz and soul. No hipsters, no wannabe-intellectuals, just good jazz. The great music compensates for the small size of the location!

Marcus Monroe: Good Jazz, Soul, Blues 'd Funk along with very friendly Service and F&B! Small but fine place.

Dwight Jones: The best in the west 😎💯👌🏿Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Xanyar Kamangar: Cool, local jazz cafe/bar. Pleasant staff. Acoustics could be better...

Vincent Piano Bar: what do users think?

C: Quaint piano bar that is definitely worth a visit. We read other helpful reviews and decided to visit around 7pm at the weekend in July 2022. We waited to order at the bar but then was told by staff it was table service, however, they took a short time to come. Drinks were pricey but nice. The view was lovely, however, spoiled by a rather not-so-nice smell perhaps from the river. The piano music was great and the player had a great voice and it was at the perfect volume too. Highly recommend visiting!

Rachel Byrne: Cocktails are definitely the tastiest we had in Berlin. They have a big menu with plenty of choices. The staff were friendly, however service was very slow. Definitely worth a visit, try get a spot sat next to the river!

Maria Venegas Carro: The cocktails are really good but the staff is quite unfriendly. Would recommend if you are patient enough to stand the waiters

Jacob Sopiars: We were lucky enough to walk in on a Saturday when Vincents had a live piano player. Super cool spot and I really enjoyed my cocktail. Staff was very friendly and provided a few suggestions on the cocktail that best fit my taste. Worth checking out if you're in and around the area.

Karola J: Very nice and friendly staff. Inside live piano music which you can hear also outside. Nice atmosphere to drink wine. Very recommended!

Kate Buketava: Amazing place! Cozy atmosphere with live piano music

Fabiano Daoud: Good atmosphere, drinks and staff. I definitely recommend this place.

Marie Piechotta: We waited around 30 minutes for just ordering and until we were able to pay again 30 minutes. We needed to ask them a few times before they actually gave us what we wanted. It was overall just horrible. The drinks there are fine but quite overpriced for what we've got there.

Team Mistry: Very cute bar with friendly staff. Busy in the eve but can be confusing trying to order. Staff speak German and English. Piano music was nice.

mathew phillips: Fantastic cocktails. The service isn't quick, but it's not the kind of place for a quick drink. It's got an atmosphere to savour.

The Hat Bar Berlin: what do users think?

Loay: A nice small jazz bar near the Zoo with daily jam sessions and free entry. Jam sessions start around 8-9pm and go all the way till midnight. It might be tricky to find a seat and smoking is allowed inside so I understand that it's not suitable for everyone. They have really good cocktails but expensive. I always have a good time there when I miss me some good jazz music

Alfredo Marcus: Great vibe, cool musicians jamming. There’s a jam session every evening. I think it starts at 9pm, usually closes at midnight, lasts call 11:30. Cocktails are good bear in mind it’s not a Propper cocktail place where they take their time to craft them. They don’t even shake the sours, they just used hidden shaking smoothies blender. Anyways the waiters are nice and the musicians have the best attitude, one of them even came and chat with us for a bit.

Alaa Mahmoud: One of my favourite bars in Berlin! Live jazz music in the night with very nice musicians, good cocktails, warm lights, I love the atmosphere ❤️
Response: Thank you very much, dear Alaa Mahmoud, for a great review! We're happy that you're happy, and we're looking forward to your next visit to The Hat Bar!

Septi Dwisidi Hapsari: Small jazz club, there’s not too many cocktails choices but totally love the ambiance of the bar, they perform live jazz every night, if you are jazz enthusiasts, you’ll love this place. The place is usually crowded but the service is fast
Response: Septi Dwisidi Hapsari, thank you for the great review! We’re so happy you loved your experience and can’t wait to see you again soon!

Vinihill: The sound quality have high standards. Same for musicians and atmosphere. One thing that really lack quality is the bar service. First the crew need to be trained to look into customers eyes and be aware when someone is ready to ask for something. Second i experienced one of the barman/staff with friends giving more attention to his friends than the business and other customers itself... You guys have a good place but a lot to improve regarding good service. Like really basic stuff that some regular pubs have better. Especially if someone have parcial disability and can't be moving around easily.

Met Usa: A very cool bar under the train tracks with live jazz music almost (maybe) everyday. Great cocktails, good sounds system. Maybe they can improve their air circulation a bit better if they keep letting people smoke inside

Yvette Watt: I have heard great things about this little jazz club, and so I was excited to finally get there on my last night of (this) trip to Berlin. But, unfortunately, I wasn't aware that smoking is allowed. This is such a great club in every other way; the music was excellent, the cocktail I had and the service were really good, it's a great setting, and there is no entry fee, but I just couldn't stay because of the cigarette and cigar smoke. (And I read a response here that they have a good ventilation system - well it was either broken or that is total nonsense). I would go back in a flash if they changed the smoking policy, but until then I sadly would need to give it a miss.

Marcio Pezzo: The great band, outstanding cocktails and cool atmosphere make this a place one of my favorites in Berlin.
Response: Dear Marcio Pezzo, we highly appreciate your positive review!

Matilda Gromeier: I've been longing to go to this place for a while, and all my expectations were surpassed. Hidden under the S-Bahn, the occasional rumbling with the neon signs and dimly lit room streaked in cigarette smoke really set the atmosphere. The bartenders were all extremely welcoming and especially well mannered, the drinks are curated classics with their own twist. I especially liked the policy of free entry for slightly pricier cocktails, to me it's a very democratic choice. And of course, the live performance almost had me in tears from happiness. I couldn't help but dance and swing a little. A mystical, musical place where I left a little of my heart. Can't wait to be back.

Documentaries Short: The actual place is too small and unconfortably narrow shaped, isn’t cosy but soulless.Pretentious place, unreasonable prices, joyless staff. Good music indeed but Old-school jazz bar it is definitely NOT.
Response: Hallo, Documentaries Short! Since we are not sure if you are a real person who has ever visited our establishment, please contact us personally via email mail@thehatbar.de, and we would be happy to discuss the issue at your earliest convenience.

Knutschfleck Berlin: what do users think?

Andreas Evensen Goa: Not a fancy place, but we had a great time here a Saturday night. The entrence fee 10€ doesn't seem reasonable in the door, fyi.

Ashley Gumbs: This place reminds me of Circus in London. There was a lot of entertainment and things going on. When we went on a Sunday evening there was live singers and tribute acts, a circus act, a juggler and a Coyote Ugly act (girls on the bar dancing pouring shots into guests mouths). Needless to say well worth the entrance fee and the cockatails are absolutely insane

Iain Mc Girr: Nice venue have not tried the food friendly staff good menu of drinks and food and karaoke

Chris F: Good fun but impossible to order a drink. 5 barmen but you have to order with the one roaming drink taker who is far too busy unsuccessfully trying to hook up with bridesmaids.

Paul Marsh: Great venue for a works team building event, learnt about cocktails, drank loads and had lots of fun.On my list for a night out next time I am in Berlin.

Patricia Visiedo: Awful. They charged us an extraordinary amount of money just for entering the pub without letting us know in advance. We realised that when we were leaving the place. We were to pay 10.80€. Such was our surprise when we ordered the bill and we were asked to pay 40.80€. One of the waitresses was really comprehensive and she offered us a 10€ discount. In any case our experience was simply awful. We stopped by just for having a drink and we ended up paying a lot of money for nothing. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Nick Alberts: Extremely poor staff. We were with around 50 people so they could have made a lot money out of us, but we weren't treaten with respect. They didn't want to change money (€50) on €20 orders and the waitresses were acting very cranky towards us. If you want to have a good time, don't go here! They will rather frustrate you than take good care of you!

Olivia Jastrzemski: The drinks here were delicious! The bar has a very laid back vibe, but you are able to get on the raised dance floor and dance and request songs from the DJ. There were some people there that had amazing dance moves! Some of the people at the bar though, were kind of sketchy. My friend and I did like the bar though, but would have preferred if the dance floor was not in the middle of the bar.

Yuba Koukou: I have been to many places around the world, and trust this is one of the WORST places o have ever been. First we got in and waited so long to be sitted. Second out waitress was so rude and not friendly at all, we asked her for water and she ignored us, the I asked the bartender and he ignored me, I even asked the manager and she told me sorry we don't have water, what kind of bar doesn't have water!!!. Here is the worst of all, when the server got us the bill she charged us 15 Euros of cover charge that nobody told us about. Berlin is a great city, there is so many other options, so please be smart and stay away from this place, I would of given them -stars but unfortunately I couldn't.

Lorenzo Becker: Some of us weren’t allowed in, and weren’t given a good explanation for it. Furthermore, after we had finished our drinks and waited for our karaoke-song, we were forced to buy more drinks, or else we would be kicked out (although it wasn’t crowded at all). We waited about 2 hours for our karaoke-song, and were skipped many times.

San San Chow: Spacious. Weekly live jazz performance. Friendly service. Beverage prices are above average. Pitcher (1.5l) is served here! Check this place out if you're into jazz performances. Will definitely come back again
Response: Hello San San, We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for taking the time to rate us! We are already looking forward to your next visit! 🎷

Roy F: The music show was good. But there is not enough room to sit and sitting chairs and corner/wall sitting places are very uncomfortable.

john allen: Can't believe I found this online is this the same club that i used to go to in the 60s more traditional jazz in them days always a great atmosphere it's when I was stationed in Berlin 65 to 69
Response: Hello John, Thank you very much for your kind words. We are honoured that you have visited us again after so many years.🎷

Slavena Ruseva: Really good place - a bit pricey but it was worth it! Cocktails were great and the terrace was super cozy and quiet even though it’s a busy street outside. The deserts were good, too. Definitely recommend.

Bairavi Subramoney: I went there for drinks. I must say it was just ok. The cocktails were overpriced - 11€ for a Mai Tai and 9 € for a fruity creamy frozen rum cocktail. They also took extremely long just to bring us three cocktails-I think we waited 20 min and the place was near empty. The cocktails weren't even well presented, with my drink spilling over the brim of the glass and creating puddles on the table. Having said that, the waiter was pleasant, the cocktails were decent enough and the ambience is conducive to a group wanting a chat.

Tony Brock: The open air entertainment was good, but the upstairs bar prices were high and the personnel were rude and unproffessional. Never again!

Arunima Raigar: Nice atmosphere and really good drinks. They make fantastic cocktails!

Karina Lewicka: Good live music, very good drinks although sometimes you have to wait a bit for them, they're worth it!

Сєрьожа Моржов: I really like the place! dj Fernando was lit 🔥 minus one star cuz the bathroom didn't impress me at all. it should be at the same level with the bar! white walls umhhhhh-- NO. anyway good af!
Response: Thank you very much for your Feedback 🎷

Alex: Super relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to relax and enjoy your drink.
Response: Hello Alex, thanks for the kudos - I'll be happy to pass it on to the whole team as well. See you hopefully soon again at Quasimodo 🎷

Alt-Berliner-Biersalon GmbH: what do users think?

Jim C: This was a nice restaurant, near a Christmas ornament shop, that we stopped at for lunch after we went shopping for the Christmas ornament. They had traditional German food as well as some American comfort foods. They also had several beers on tap. The staff was friendly and several of them spoke English as well as German. If you are in the area, this is a good choice

Celso Romero: The "Alt-Berliner Biersalon" restaurant has been a restaurant legend for over 100 years. Here you can find Berlin cuisine, sports broadcasts and live music on a regular basis.

Darowski Kacper: Not being an alcohol consumer myself, I was pleased to see that I could still find something to eat and drink for myself when spending my time here with some friends. I cannot speak for the taste of the alcoholic beverages, though as I'm told they tasted just fine. I can however speak my mind about the very fine apple strudel and general peaceful atmosphere of this place at night. The waiting times not being too long makes it a reasonable choice for a quick dessert in my opinion.

Zdislav Doleček: This pub suited me. Big, nice, typical - according to my ideas :-) The service was fast and nice, the beer and food were excellent.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Alessandro R: Food and beer were wonderful!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

MohammadReza Bahreinian: Waitress were rude and aggressive, one of them changed ozr seat for no specific reason. And did not explain.Food: 3/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Will Thompson: It's not the same any more. We've been coming here for nine years. This is the first time that we didn't enjoy ourselves. Our server, Angi, was amazing but the overall atmosphere was dull. If Mr. Brix is still running this place, I suggest you do something to keep your former patrons as well as getting new customers. 🍻Food: 4/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Graham Ramsden: I went here last week at 10.30 am hoping to enjoy their Englisches Fruhstuck (English Breakfast), but they were closed! 😢 Apparently their hours have changed. They don’t open until noon and breakfast is no more. This isn’t mentioned on their website or their FB page. Update!!

Monica Mihai: Nice to enjoy some drinks, especially in the summer on the terrace and watch people walk by. It seems always crowded and it might not have the best service or decent prices, but for the history and location, i think it deserves a short stop.

Lee Soon Yeow: Great place to people watch outdoor. Beer is good and reasonably priced for the location. Smoked pork was good too although had to ask twice before it came. Waitress was rude when handing the bill, she literally threw the bill on the table

Murphy’s Irish Pub: what do users think?

Barry Tandy: Great time killer on a night wandering the city. Service was great at the bar and with the live music there was a fantastic atmosphere. I sat at the bar and with some patience and reading the rush, the bar staff were amazing. Burger and curly fries a good option. I’ll be back to try more.

Lotta Kuepper: We went here quite early in the day and were the first costumers. The bartenders where very nice and helped us choose our drinks. We felt very comfortable and as a side note, the music was excellent

Sven Piechottka: Nice place to drop by both in summer and winter. Live music is one of a kind here! Love the crowd every time Ken Deburca plays - absolutely recommended! Lived close by and went to this place frequently for more than a year. Only downsides: touristy area and prices are a bit high. Service varies, but for Berlin standards relatively good. Food is ok but also slightly overpriced. You pay for the central location I guess.

Niels Niemann: Not the best cocktail, if you are not into beer, which this place og course has og it's finish. Great environment to sit. We had live music the day we visit, but honestly, it was not the best. So better with no music.

Rachel Byrne: Really friendly staff and quick service. We had a table next to the river which was lovely. The cocktails are really tasty and there's plenty to choose from!

Dan Perry: Nice Irish Pub with good Drinks and good food. I love to drink the cocktail „Swimming pool“ there, it‘s delicious! The prices are a bit expensive but normal for this area. Karaoke has a very nice atmosphere, people likes to sing and you can experience different styles of music there. Only a pitty that karaoke on Thursdays only until 11 PM is. Unfourtunatly not that long :/ it shoulded be longer

Anna A: Very good beer, nice atmosphere. The waiters are very nice, especially Ram. He was always very attentive and we never had to wait to long for new drinks. Definitely recommend. Also Una, Abbie, Agathe were super nice and helpful. Also speak english so very good for international visitors.

Mark Spreadbury: Great beer, great food, and the bar staff work incredibly hard. Give them some respect and give them a tip in hand. We'll done Team Murphy.

Sarunas Karalius: Not so big, but nice whisky menu. Including some irish, scotch and even japan🇯🇵whiskies.

Hans Deenen: Great pub; cosy, good food, live music and great beer!!! Highly recommended for a night out in Berlin.

Istvan Vastag: Old school music bar with a decent drink menu (more than a few whiskeys). Service was good. Smoking is allowed but didn't feel/smell like a smoker bar. Definitely worth a visit (overall a pretty good vibe). I'll visit again, try some of the food, and maybe I'll up to 5 stars.
Response: Thank you!!

Bharathi Srinivasan: Very poor ventilation on summer days and you can't open the windows, just sit together in a packed room in sweltering heat. The place is quite small, gets packed every night and I understand the service staff have their hands full, but one of them was quite rude and this was very off putting. The waitress for our table was very empathetic and delightful to interact with, but the one who was seating us when the bar was completely empty at 6 pm would barely listen to our requests before saying 'No'. The food sometimes nails it and the last time I really enjoyed it. This time it was quite average and not worth what you pay for it
Response: Thank you. Nest time you maybe sit better outside in our beergarden. Sorry for the rude waiter, it was mabe also too hot for him...

Prasad Gone: Wonderful old jazz bar where you can enjoy a locally brewed beer and live music in a buzzing and often busy spot. The decor is eclectic and really makes the place that bit more special. I suggest to reserve the table before the place busy during weekends.
Response: Thank you!

oğuzhan karacüllü: Small and friendly place for a jazz night. Dinner was also quite tasty. Your should definitely give a shot to steak. Also they had good wine opportunities. Only problem is service is slow and the place was really congested and crowded. Without reservation it’s impossible to find a table. Staff was friendly and they can speak English good enough. Recommend this place for a night out with friends.
Response: Thank you!

Frances Piper: Got the potatoes and schnitzel, potatoes all garlic and oily and herby, really delicious, comfort food with a guiness type beer. like a good pub with home cooked food. and kind staff.
Response: Thank you!!

Septi Dwisidi Hapsari: I suggest to reserve a table if you really want to sit indoor and watch the live performance. I had to sit outside and can’t really enjoy the music, but if you go with friends and just wanna drink and hang out, it won’t be a problem. Service staff were fast and attentive even though it’s full
Response: Thank you!

Cristina Delgado: I love live music and that was great, but the waiter ruined our experience there. Most rude person I ever meet. We raise the hand to call him, I think in a normal way when people can not hear because of the noise around, he arrived after a while and tell us “you are in Germany and you do not call waiters here with your hand, that is un-polite, next thing he says “welcome to Germany”, and then he says “you need to thank me because I say welcome”… at some point I thought he was joking as I could not believe what was happening. After that he ask us to order and we order food, his reaction was to say “did you ask me first if kitchen was open”… I couldn’t believe how a person like this is working as customer service.
Response: First I want to apologize for this person. I am deeply saddened to have someone like that on our team, but unfortunately I don't know exactly who is meant. Such statements are in any case not typical for us and unacceptable. Please don't judge us based on this experience alone.

Ignacio Gonzalez: Okay, chill place. Nice environment. Quality price okay for being german cuisine. Thr flammküchen was a bit salty.
Response: Thanks!

Loreena A: The older waiter is super cold and rude. Can speak perfect English to ask for the tip but cannot be bothered to do the rest of the service in English.Wonder if it's because he heard we were French? 🤨
Response: Sorry Loreena, thats very pity :-( I will talk to him.... Du you mean the whole place or just the waiter with just one Star?

Marcello Sforza: Worst customer experience ever! That's a total shame because the live music and food are so great and not expensive at all. The waiter offended us the whole time just because I politely rose my hand for catching his attention (we were waiting for 20 minutes just to order something and the place was super crowded). After, he wanted to reject my order because I didn't ask him if the kitchen was still open (it was 9 pm on a Friday). In the end, he touched my shoulders in a very provocative way and told me "Welcome to Germany!" I can't still believe that a great place like this has such rude and gross personnel. Shame on you!
Response: I would like to apologize for this stupid behavior of the cellar. But this is not typical for us. Please don't judge us only on this bad experience. I am very upset about that. Unfortunately I don't know exactly who is meant.

Ewerton P.: The perfect place to watch a football match.Beer is perfect, service is excellent. Although the kitchen is not always open, the food is great.

San San Chow: was here during football matches totally crowded with human, dont expect to sit comfortably at your own seats nice Guinness Stout as they offer Pitches as well reasonable price Live band was nice and fun!

Andy Bolton: Nice enough inside - good for watching sports. Good staff. Ridiculously expensive for drinks. A spiced rum and coke is over 10 euros yet you can buy a bottle of Morgan's for 12 in the nearby supermarket. Hardly any bars in this area of Berlin so a captive market I guess.

Natalia Ortelli: They had live music on Friday evening, good potpourri of classics, people are very chatty in the smoking room it was a very friendly atmosphere. The waiters were busy but always attentive and smiley. We had Guinness and cheese toasties.

Jakob Bach Jensen: Great pub with very nice staff that speaks great English. Would recommend.

Tim Tregenza: This famous venue in Old West Berlin at the bottom of Europa Centre is a bit of a classic. Live music and plenty of space are two attractions. One downside I noticed was the smell of tobacco (presumably coming through the air conditioning/ heating system.

Tore Brynaa: Nice with live music.Good selection of beers and drinks.Place is sometimes quite busy, but service stays fairly quick. I hate waiting, and these people do a good job

ullas arora: Went there to watch fifa finale with my colleagues. The pub is hug with many different zones to sit and watch games on big screen. Beer was good and service attitude was appreciable. Will try to be visit again.

Steve: Watched Champions League game, very good pub and atmosphere. Staff excellent

BII 79: Nice friendly service. Lots of room, and cold beer. Beer is a bit more expensive than other pubs in the city, so beware.

Marta Vega: We were upstairs for drinks late in the evening. There was cozy atmosphere to talk for hours with friends. Good prices, amazing cocktails and our waiter was so professional, funny and friendly. We got nachos with dips for free. It was literally the best service I have gotten in years, absolute perfection.

Haseeb Ahmad: nice place but because it has so many sofas it doesnt leave seating innovation for when there are so many people there.. but comfortable and nice place.

WILL. I. AM.: The staff were very nice. Unfortunately in the day I have been there, the alive music was a closed event and I was not able to join. The food was good and the beer too. The price was fare!

Yash S: Must visit for having good time. Decent sound system, good people, DJ stage is just right for short and cosy gathering. Have english bands, although they address in german throughout but overall recommended.

Paul Albrecht: Excellent venue for in your face live music, dancing afterwards, or a tasty meal in their Cafe upstairs!

Jccn Z: Found this place by accident, like the drink menu, friendly staff.

Sam Kennedy: My favourite varied live music venue in Berlin, taking you underground both literally and figuratively. On two occasions I've come back from here having fallen in love with the artists that they've had on, and I usually end up bringing some merchandise home with me. Also, the free beer raffle on entry is actually genius.

Matteo Tausel: Lovely bar for a drink with friends, plus the fooseball is fun

Monica WN: Love this bar! We had a blast. Perfect for chilling and dancing. Nice live music every night. Entrance fee €6. Beer about €3 and up.

Johan Durand: Good music, waitress very kind, excellent plates. I recommend

Van Gogh: what do users think?

Natalia Filvarova: Lovely cocktails in a beautiful atmosphereThey also have non-alcoholic options which is great :)

Rachel Wang: The service is incompetent and inattentive. Yes maybe you have a big crowd of customers but this is not an excuse when your customers waited for more than half an hour for a drink, before the first drinks come, they presented a wrong bill to us to pay, then tried to give us the wrong change while apparently they don’t have a system of remembering which table is which. The guy ordered for us and somehow gave us a wrong bill within 10 minutes! The woman is more horrible - gave us a unhelpful response when we asked for drinks if they can be served more attentively. No service attitude whatsoever. In case you wonder about the drinks, I had a French 75, not even close to average. Plain, underwhelming and sweet. It’s a drink that is supposed to be made out of gin and champagne. However, I only taste syrup. Never again. Yea it’s tough review but I’m speaking from the truth.

Kim: The atmosphere and piano man was great, but the quality of cocktails leave much to be desired. Too sweet, not delicious and guys are using basic syrup instead of purée or extracts.

Chris Dockwell: I really don't get the appeal. At first, you think, "Oh wow, pretty cool artwork." Then you order a couple of expensive cocktails, were the worst cocktails I've ever had. My wife ordered a French 75, which was awful, and it appeared that they only put grenadine with whatever bubbly think was matched with it. The management should be ashamed of themselves for offering such poor quality drinks. As an added note, the piano playing was mediocre at best, with many notes off key. A very poor, kitsch, and disappointing experience.

А M: Very beautiful bar with the piano and live music.

Anna Zubko: Cozy bar with good drinks and live piano music!Sofas and chairs are very comfortable. Cocktails a bit too expensive.

Carl Kruse: How hard is it to ruin a cool-looking piano bar? Apparently not hard at all at Van Gogh. The love in the place left with the designers, to then be sunk by indifferent service, non-descript drinks, horrific piano singer, and painfully bad music in the interludes between the bad piano singer. Inexplicable rave reviews. The place DOES look cool at first glance, but the crowd, cafeteria vibe, and overall lack of love, quickly torpedo the establishment. Van Gogh is a middling hotel bar with a piano thrown in a corner rather than an actual piano bar. We really wanted to like the place as we are often in the neighborhood, but one visit was more than enough. As a note - could the place have been better in years gone by? We noticed most of the crowd on a Saturday night seemed to be hotel guests with no local fans. Anyway, hard to love what is going on now.

Andres Capurro: The ambience is really nice and chilled. Background piano player was very uplifting and energetic. I really liked the versions he played on some well known songs. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Very nice place to have a drink and a nice conversation

Dee: Nice bar on a quiet street in charlottenburg. Nice place to have a drink with a good selection of cocktails. If you’re looking for a lively night out this place is not the one, it’s calm and tranquil with live piano playing in the background.

Florian Magnien: Very chill and very pleasant place, the pianist gives a very good atmosphere. You can go as a couple, with friends or even with family like I did with my father, it was great.

Barkett: what do users think?

Annette Vogel: Very kind staff and nice open mic with a very friendly host, i recommend this open mic

Jayden Bosman: Nice cocktail bar a bit expensive but all round good vibes

Tyler: Great bar for the shoneberg locals, away from the city noise, open mic nights every Monday and soon jazz sessions on Sundays, good cocktails, me and my friend had dark and stormys and a pilsner from tap, beer tasted good and cocktails were nicely made, good vibes in the room with a good music selection, one of my favourite low key spots in the city

J. Astra Brinkmann: Great place for open mics - good soundsystem & friendly staff. Beautiful & photogenic interior :)

Panagiotis Athanasiadis: cool bar, nice drinks, excellent service - cute bartenders
Response: You're hierd

Bernd Kumar (Tron): It's a nice place, friendly personal 😀, they have on Monday's " Barkett Open Mic" where musicians can perform, it's was just mavilous, drinks are at a reasonable price 😀

João Marcelo Martins: Delicious vegan brunch on Sundays. The staff and the atmosphere is really comfy and relaxed. It's possible to make reservations, which is good as you may have to wait a bit if you just walk in. Overall a great place :))

Chris Ortiz: Amazing place, bar tenders, young and international people

Eugene Khamukhin: Even though I previously enjoyed the bar a lot, I was disappointed that they decided only to accept cash payments (hello, it’s 2022). It seems they made this change during the pandemic, which is even more strange.
Response: Hi Eugene, thanks a lot for your feedback. I really understand your annoyance. We currently have lots of trouble with the accuracy of our accounting when we mix up cash and card payments. The card payment take usually weeks to arrive, they never come for the day accurately but in one chunk so you need then to spend a lot of time finding where which payment went to, costing a lot of overhead and creates extra costs in the accounting. Since we generated lots of debts during corona crisis we run now on absolute minimum Backend costs. The economic crisis and big inflation does not help us either. So we are trying to survive the next months. We hope soon to find a better in between solution, maybe with a new payment provider. But that is also not that easy because we can only use the one that our cashier system provider supports. And using another cashier solution is again, a lot of unpaid working hours. I do not ask to change your view on card payments, and we will work on fixing it but I hope you see why we are doing it currently.

Dmitry Dreyer: Very nice and cosy bar, good stuff many English speakers, and life music!!

Clärchens Ballroom: what do users think?

Elisabeth Nefeli Motoshige: I really liked my experience there and the food was delicious. Definitely on a food coma afterwards! The only thing I wish was different is being able to get a reservation easier; while I was there the restaurant was pretty full but they still had some tables free even though it showed complete booked on the reservations platform and people were turned away…

Iara Fulco: Really recommend this restaurant! Nice place in a good neighborhood. There are a lot of tables outside and inside so make it easy to get one.

Rūta Keviešena: Highly recommend this place! The atmosphere, the place, food - everything was great! Food was delicious! Spent nice afternoon in there.

Tilman Benecke: it is an old venerable restaurant which defines its charm by being a bit run down. Hard to complain, prices are expensive but reasonable for this area. Beer prices for half a liter are still less than €5, which is rare these days. The Berlin Sausage Salad took a little getting used to because of the slightly delicate tasting cheese, but it was still easy to chew and digest. the staff was on point and friendly.

Karim Dernaika: The garden is lovely and this restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the food is ok, I only tried the Berliner wurst and had a few drinks. If the weather is nice, it’s worth a visit and make sure to sit in the garden

Niklas Burghardt: Wonderful location! The kitchen is delicious and if you want to learn how to dance you can also book a course. Highly recommended location! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian alternatives. You can also ask for vegetarian options to the meat courses.

Luigi Puno (Luigi): Quite a nice outdoor seating area, with nice evening ambiance too. The beer is cold, the meatballs were juicy! (I find that they tend to be pretty dry when you order them in other places!) I can also recommend the Truffle flammkuchen, that was pretty unique! You can pay with card 👌

L Wang: Beautiful restaurant with great German food and friendly staff. Strongly recommend!

Kathryn Callow: There was a few issues with a booking I made. My sister in the UK had made a €50 gift certificate for my Canadian relative visiting me in Berlin so she could try schnitzel. They didn't have the booking in the book. I had to show the email. The hostess really did her best but of course it meant we had a bad aisle table by the door with lots of disturbance. Not ideal for a special occasion. The server had low training. She couldn't answer questions on the menu. Be warned the vegan schnitzel was sold out by our sitting at 20.00. She didn't know how to handle the gift certificate. She asked in a strange way for the table back at closing, I did 7 years in service 'can I bring you the cheque ladies?' is adequate compared to 'we close. You must leave. So go' at precisely 22.00. Strange phrasing... Top marks for an alcohol free champagne, to my knowledge the only one in Berlin where a drinker can prost together with a dry version. A lovely male runner took our picture at the disco ball. I've been for other people's celebrations before it was a little sad to spend €50 on Flammkuchen we'd gone for the schnitzel and mentioned that on the booking. Please please please prep more schnitzel for schnitzeltag 20.00 isn't so late. If you know 20.00 is too late and the booking comes for schnitzel perhaps you could recommend the guest an earlier time slot? Total €76

Cristian Preuss: Nice place. Service could be faster. Food is good and good value.

Tausend: what do users think?

Denisse Rayas: Had a great night yesterday, always so much fun at Tausend. Best music, atmosphere and cool people. Shout out to Finn! Best barman ever. Thank for the good energy Finn. We’ll be back soon.

Claudia Hoyos: Nice night club, very good music and atmosphere. We had a really fun night. Also Finn, the barman was so good!! Definitely We will go back soon!!!

Victor Novikov: Welcome back to 2000sCocktails were decent, but the crowd was... Eclectic.

Alice: Amazing place but the tall brunette bar tender definitely ruined the night a bit, hope she only had a bad day for giving such a bad service.8€ shots 16€ cocktails 10€ entry fee (not always though)

matheus benamor: Nice place, people inside are very polite and the drinks are nice, but the guy at the door was very stupid in our visit last time, he denied one of our friends to enter because of his dress code 👎🏻 just lost me and our friends, we will not return!

Bożena J: Actually I don't know what should be special at this place... No place to dance, one drink costs 16 € and there is almost no internet connection.

Youju (youju_j): * A review about the bar side * * Willingness to return visit: 120% * Suitable place for everything business, party, date, alone :) * Smoking is allowed inside. * Storage for the Jackets and bags.( 1.5or 2 euro) * I'm Including the sound videos of 12am’s 'before and after' in this review. Because around 12 o'clock, the atmosphere before and after is quite different :D ! but don’t worry, The atmosphere won't change suddenly. Competent DJs are making increasingly mood with well selected music . it will definitely make you wanna dance around 1:00. The friendly bartenders also make cocktails that are not on the menu, satisfying your taste. Well, If there's one thing that's missing, the cocktail glass is a bit.. ugly? not pretty?. . Haha um The cocktail glass can’t keep up with the cocktail tasty& mood🙈

Ryan Messner: Trendy hidden bar and restaurant near Friedrichstraße station. More than just bartenders slinging pints — they are artists, hosts, entertainers! Earlier in the evening the bar is generally empty and everyone keeps to themselves. As the night carries on, the place starts filling up with a trendier crowd, and turns more into a club. Hit the bar for some pre-dinner cocktails, enjoy dinner at the Backroom Cantina, and then stay for the DJ or Band. They do allow smoking inside and have coat check available. Cant find the entrance — YG?

Rik de Koning: I got in, which - as I understand - can sometimes be troublesome for foreigners. The place has a great ambiance, almost a bit posh. Don't expect a simple night out in a bar kind of feeling. Music was good and was building up slowly as the night progressed. Cocktails were a bit expensive and took a long time for the waiters to make. In the end we even waited for half an hour and still didn't got our drinks, even when we've asked for them a second time.

Christakis Psyllides: Nice place for a drink and a very cool entrance. Hard to find if you don't know where it is but that's part of the cool vibe. If you in there then you know about this place. It's expensive but the drinks menu offers some unusual and unique options worth getting through. Get there before 11pm to ensure you get a table and enjoy. Nice music too and not too loud so you can talk, which is good...

QBA: what do users think?

Onweni Princess Ashinze: Beautiful bar, nice cocktails and Cuban meals. Portions are also realllllllyyyy large 🙆🏾‍♀️. I could barely have my meal. Did I enjoy it? Not exactly. It was. New palette not a fan of the main dish. However will I return? Yes for drinks (bar setting). Well thinking about it, for the price the portions should be large. The waiter was absolutely polite, kind and and really lovely.
Response: Thank you QBA Team

Pousali Palui: Recently discovered this Pub, just adjacent to U Oranienburger Tor! It's cozy with funky Cuba style décor! We weren't much hungry so just tried the Nachos with chicken Nd Rind but I'm looking forward to try more dishes next time! The atmosphere is quite friendly Nd I loved Jordana as a great host! I went on the Thursday Karaoke night Nd my entire perception about Karaoke night changed! I had decided to leave by 22:00 but I was hooked on until 02:00 Nd they literally had to say they were closing! The ambience was super welcoming Nd I couldn't stop shaking my arse to the exciting Latino music! The cocktails were quite good! Try going in the happy hour to get some discounts as well!! Thank you Sami, the bar guy for being so abrupt yet perfect with the orders. Even the billing was perfectly done although we had a lot of split n we were super Drunk. 😅 I'm definitely coming back again soon!
Response: Thank you QBA Team 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Caroline G.: I was kept waiting 40 minutes to even order my starter (despite asking twice), and after a further 30 minutes gave up on the main meal so just paid and left. The tostones were just okay, certainly not worth that long a wait.
Response: We apologize for your lost time!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Jasper Louws: A wide variety of cocktails and high quality food! Keep in mind that the portions are quite large and you may not be able to finish it all. The personnel was very attentive and quick but not obnoxious.
Response: Thank you very much QBA Team 👍🏽👌🏽

Christakis Psyllides: Amazing authentic Cuban restaurant. Food is incredible, plentiful and reasonably priced. Service is maybe the best in Mitte anywhere I have been. Get there as early as you can for early dinner and stay for an amazing cocktail and a dance at afterwards. Well worth a visit. Gets very busy from 9pm so try and get a space by the bar or on a table before that or you will be standing all night. Go and have some fun! Highly recommended.
Response: Thank you very much QBA Team 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Ove Holmberg: Great drinks to great price on happy hour. Excellent service. One day later: Adding one more star as i got i fast reply on my feedback. Respect!
Response: Thank you very much QBA Team 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Nidhi S: Absolutely loved this place!!! The vibe, ambience, music, cocktails, the server, bartender, everyone is so friendly!! Apart from that the live music is absolutely amazing and then the dancing and the food <3 All in all its a great place to be in a Friday!!!
Response: Thanks a lot QBA Team 👍🏽

Arash: I have been in Berlin for 2 night and I was very lucky to spend one of those nights in this place. I love the atmosphere I am traveler and I think my next destination will be Havana if it's that cool🤗
Response: Thank you very much QBA Team 🕺🏽💃🏾

A1C Herrera Valerio: Great atmosphere for dining with good Latin music. This place turns into a karaoke after the kitchen closes to keep the night going.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Response: Thank you very much QBA Team 🙏🏽

Frany Fine: There was Cuban live music, which i love and people were dancing although there's little space. The food is tasty but not very veggie-friendly. The only vegetarian options were fajitas with vegetables (no protein but good taste) and vegetable empanadas and some snacks like nachos, olives... i was hoping that they'd would have at least something with beans. if youre vegetarian and want to eat more than a snack i recommend going elsewhere. Also the nachos had a cardboard-like texture. Service is friendly 👍
Response: Thanks a lot QBA Team 👍🏽
