Ronak Ganatra: Always a safe choice for well priced seafood cravings without paying too much for good fish in Berlin. Been here a couple of times and the fish and chips (cod) and the grilled fish (trout, seabass) never fail to disappoint. They also have a good variety of fresh Fischbrötchen and the calamari, bismarck, and matjes are recommended for sure. It may be a bit slow in service but the staff here are incredibly friendly and make the whole place worth it!
Melisa Minca: Had a really nice experience here! The resto had a cute decor and our server was so pleasant! Our main was Fish&Chips for 2. The fish was tender inside and crispy outside. The one star minus is for cold fries and waiting time almost 40 mins (the restaurant was half-full).

Thomas Fischer: Best fish we ate in Berlin! This little gem completely delivered! We ordered the platter for tso and it was soo perfect. we got a lot of real delicious filets and a lot of real fresh seafood. The scampi and mussels were perfect. Even the toasted bread with garlic butter was perfect. We enjoyed really watching how the cook were basically dancing to prepare everything. Thank you for a great evening

Justyna Komuda: I've enjoyed this visit. Firs of all, very good chips with perfect amount of salt. Very rarely I can find such good chips. Yellow sauce was also very nice and suit perfectly to the dish. Red sauce is a spicy one, so not exactly for me but only because I don't like spicy things. Fisch was good. Service was nice, friendly. I think I'll come back again. It's not easy to find place with good fisch in city which is far away from the sea.

pronins: I came here for a quick bite, had the salmon soup and the dorado sandwich. Both dishes tasted fresh and the bread was especially delicious. The service is quick and the staff members are all very nice. I wish there would be more actual salmon in the soup though… Also, the dorado tasted good but there could be more of it and it wasn’t deboned properly, so it was somewhat inconvenient to pick through the bones within a sandwich. I would recommend getting the salmon sandwich instead - I saw someone having one and it didn’t seem to have had any bones in it. Anyway, the dishes only cost €6 each, which seemed fair to me.
Hina Rehman (H1N4): I went to Taka fish after reading rave reviews about the food taste. It’s not far from the S-Bahn station but the name Taka wasn’t visible. First all I saw was fish house. On checking it twice we figured it’s the correct one we were looking for. It’s a Turkish owned place where Turkish tea was served free throughout. The server advised what fish was fresh and what are their specialty of the day. He spoke little English, luckily my partner spoke basic German. Food was tasty and salad was amazing. All in all a good experience.

Moreover, I would definitely ready to pay a bit more for such dishes, and even so it would be really "shut up and take my money" deal. 😄 I hope I would be able to visit this restaurant one more time during my next visit of Berlin. 🙏
Treu Dandelion: The best place for eating fish in Berlin.The staff are so kind and well mannered. They always welcome us super friendly. We go to this place since 2017 as we first went and well do forever to eat the super delicious fish. Always recommended to anyone from all around the world.
Sohan Surag: Didn't like this place one bit. The outdoor seating was really bad with no heating provided and you really have to get into the cramped indoors. Chances are that you're a fish lover if you go to this place, but even then it ain't that great. It took more than 40 minutes to get our orders and both the dishes were barely serviceable. I am not sure why this place has got such ratings on Google Reviews. I won't be visiting this place a second time.

Benjaluck Fai Yuttisee: Seafood bar is an appropriate description. It’s very cozy. You can order different drinks and different small portion of seafood of your choice to enjoy over hours. Everything I had was fresh and tasty. The service was very nice.
Jan Camp: We found ourselves in an upper class restaurant with a well chosen wine card as well as a menu as you can find them around harbour close restaurants and fish markets. You choose the kind of fish or seafood you would like to eat and they cook it for you. Sides can can be chosen separately. To us, it was a fantastic dinner. We can recommend the prawns, lobster and the grilled vegetables as well as the young spinach. Some oysters as a starter are also a good choice in our opinion :) Wheelchair accessibility: Es ist ebenerdig.
Mitch: A very beautiful restaurant with professional, friendly service. The oysters and lobster soup were quite tasty. Unfortunately the fish dishes were rather bland. At this price point one would expect the fish to be properly seasoned. The sauces on the plate added little. Wine selection is quite good. A nice place for a date.

Thavyness: We made a reservation for dinner on a Wednesday night for 4 adults and 3 kids. When we arrived, they could not find our reservation. We showed them our phone log to prove that we had called earlier to book a table. The waiter was very accommodating and got us a nice table in the back area. He was very friendly and attentive. We loved the fresh oysters, wine and cerviche. I especially enjoyed the salad with grilled shrimp. The kids also ate all their fish and chips kids’ meal. We were also asked to show our covid digital passport which we appreciated. Ship / sea themed decorations made the ambiance extra special!
Anjo: Disclaimer first, I do like fish, but it doesn't have to be fancy. And this is kinda how I felt after, my personal highlight von everything I tried was the Sea Bream. Which is the cheapest thing available that day. The other fish wasn't bad, just not for me. And I have to say you pay a lot for what you get. But what would you expect in that area 😅 Sadly just didn't really live up to my expectations.

As Per Casper: I'm convinced there's a secret beach somewhere in Berlin cause this fish is FRESHHHHH! Grilled to perfection, I was sad that with every bite I took I had less left on my plate. Definitely a once or twice a week kinda place to go to for a healthy, nutritious, and most importantly (for me) delicious.
Philip Avakian: Fischfabrik has been my go-to spot for fish for years. Besides a selection of fish and chips they offer special plates, such as a variety of grilled fish & mussels with fried potatoes, salad and some bread. The fish is always fresh and can also be bought by weight in case you want to prepare your own dishes at home. Fischfabrik is run by a charismatic Berliner chef and his family, the spot is small and cozy and the staff have never disappointed me. If you are in Berlin, check it out!
Willhelm Schmerz: This is a very nice place. The owner is doing a great job. He will make recommendations and take time for you and your wishes. The fish has an excellent quality. If you are only passing by, I recomend to grab a Matjesbrötchen. This place is tiny and very often full.
Sooyoun Speaks: This place is like an oasis in the desert where fresh seafood is almost mission impossible. Had some fish to go back in March 2020 and it was amazing. The chef was also very friendly. I would definitely go back one day.
Anusha Sanyam Kamat: We had the seafood platter for 2 which comes with 2 glasses of Chardonnay. It was just too good. The place is very clean and tidy, the prices are reasonable too. The staff is the sweetest. All the dishes there looked very delicious. Will surely visit again.
lasal valerian: Probably the worst service in Berlin, we asked for grilled fish recomendation and they served us just cold fish. The owner was very upsetted and arrogant when we complained (very politely) about the service and the food. The waitress was also quite arrogant and unpleasand. Just a "Fischladen" trying to be a Restaurant.
Akin Sahin: It’s a pity… had huge expectations, thought i found a nice fish restaurant around the corner, to go every now and then to enjoy seafood and socialize… now i believe i will never visit again. Was it the poor quality of food? No… The food was average or slightly above. It is rather the tense, unfriendly and inflexible service that is way below the Berlin standards. And it is not only how they behave the customers, but also among themselves. I hope you manage to improve socially, otherwise, it’s a waste of a good concept.
İhsan Yeneroğlu: I nice small place for eating tasty fish.
Jennifer Barteloni: I love this place. It is the perfect fusion of a Berliner imbiss and a British chippy. The prices are more than fair ( x3 oysters + a glass of wine for €8.50). The absolute highlight of our dinner was the squid in a delicious red wine sauce. Get them! I wasn’t really in the mood for a classic dish&chips so I ordered the calamari. The batter was light and crispy and the calamari weren’t greasy at all! We paired our dishes with a glass of decent grau burgunder. Definitely approved!
Wing Ying Chow: Very tasty fish! Perhaps not the cheapest or have the largest portions, but everything is freshly prepared and cooked by the two guys behind the counter. It would be good to know that certain menu items are not available on a Sunday. Definitely would return to try other things they have on their menu.

Michael Henry: My tuna steak was beautiful and very tasty. My wife ordered Thai Style Noodles with langoustines and when the dish arrived it was penne pasta and some small shrimp in a creamy sauce. She tod the waiter she ordered Thai style noodles and he said "that's it" and walked away. My wife eat the dish as we were starving and we paid for the food. She tried to explain that the menu was very misleading as noodles and penne pasta are totally different things. She never even got to mention that there were no langoustines in sight as she was told that in Germany all pasta and noodles are the same. The waiter then told us he didn't know what food was like in England. We are not even English. I wouldn't go back and if I owned the place I would retrain the front of house staff.
John Damm: We were in this restaurant last week. The food we ordered was very tasty. I'm giving one star only because of an old waiter who works there. I saw more than once that the chef prepared the food to serve and this waiter reached into the dish with his hand and ate it several times. French fries, scampi, shrimp, etc. I could see that the cook was very angry about this. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant as long as this waiter is working there.
Josh Mac: Not a bad place. Food was nice. But would say slightly overpriced. Also needs to be stated and explained why a bill can not be split between multiple people as the waiter tried to convince us it wasn't possible which took about 10 minutes of back and forth befor allowing us to split.
George Groutas: Very nice seafood , fast service and a good ambience. We ordered scallops for starters and were exquisite and octopus and tuna as main course. The octopus was very tasty. The tuna was excellent. Lightly seared on one side and served with some vegetables was the perfect choice for a lovely dinner. It's not a cheap eatery but for the food we had was value for money.

Natalia Czaja: The service is so poor. We ordered only two beers and when the waiter heard that we do not want any food, started being so rude. Asked us to change our place because we took table for four but we were only a pair (tables for two were in the sun so we didn't take them) - it's important to mention that other pairs were sitting at tables for four. Then we asked if we could pay by card - the waiter said it's not a problem. After a while we asked another waiter for a receipt, he asked if we want to pay by cash or card - we have chosen card. The receipt has been brought by "our" waiter and he came without a terminal. I kindly asked for the third time if we could pay by card and he said "NEIN. Nicht für Getränke". There was no information that you cannot come there only for drinks. It's even sadder that the waiter was so rude because he has seen that we are tourists and foreigners even though we spoke German.

Mo Hazem: All you can eat for 17.99 Euro 💶 food is good and they have a very good variety of salads, fried chicken, noodles, soups, sushi, mini cakes, fruits. Attached are the pictures of what I have tried. Gave them 4 stars instead of 5 as Its not the best place have Sushi however the fried Sushi is recommended. Other than that all is super. A side note, they also have clean and neat toilets in case you need them as I did :D Overall, totally recommended and I will go again whenever I have the chance. Gute Appetit 👌🏽

Jillaine Schock: This may be the first time ever that I will rate a buffet 1 star. First of all, on the weekends and holidays per person it is 17.90€ and then weekdays 11.90€. Card is accepted as payment (over 10€ though). Firstly, if you leave any food on your plate you get charged 10€ (which is fair but an fyi). Secondly, the food is dry, cold, and stale. Tastes like the food they served a few days ago. The chocolate fountain looks pretty, but it is cold. Not warm at all. The only good stuff in my opinion was their pineapple in the dessert section. Lastly, it’s recommended by me to not come here on the weekend but to try the weekdays. Might be better? But yeah, not satisfied at all and very disappointed.

I normally write comments rarely for the restaurant that I really enjoyed. This is one of them. The owners are a couple who obviously love what they are doing. We had the mixed meze plate and they were all very delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. We drank a very special white wine from Turkey. Owners selected best Raki and Wine alternatives from Turkey. This place is one of the rare places where you can find best Turkish Raki "Beylerbeyi Göbek Raki" in Germany. Prices are reasonable or may be cheap considering the quality of taste. I highly recommend this restaurant for anybody looking for not only seafood but fresh Mezes suitable even for vegetarians. We will definitely be there again and this time we will stay until the end of the night to try Beylerbeyi Göbek Raki. ( We had to reject owners trial offer due to our program on that night)
Tyrus Yoong: Excellent service and delicious food. I ordered the beef tenderloin and the seafood platter. Variety of proteins cooked to perfection! My 2.5 year old son enjoyed the food and box of toys that the owners offered him with. Owners have passion and take pride in what they do. 10/10 would recommend! :)

pervylemons: We just had an incredible meal at this lovely establishment. What can I say. The mixed meze starter was balanced to perfection. The seabass; also cooked to perfection, it slid of the bone cleanly and easily. Enjoyed every last mouthful of all the dishes and the baklava at the end was to the tastebuds as water is to a parched throat. Service was excellent with attention to detail from the owners as well as being made to feel welcome and at home. I would definitely recommend this to any and all who wish to have a lovely evening.

Christian Kmiotek: Although the place is outside, hidden, small and more an eatery than a restaurant, this is one of the best fish plates you will have in Berlin. And the sushi are equally fresh and excellent. The secret lies in the fact that this is also a fish monger and a good one with a large choice (for Berlin standards) of sweet and saltwater fish and seafood. Update: on our last visit, fish plates were a bit overcooked, so we will go for the sushi next time.

Granted most tables had reserved signs on them, but there were several empty seats at the bar and a tall table in the entrance. Thus worst rating possible for terrible customer service. The food, of course, I haven't tried.

In addition, we have never had a grilled fish platter on the menu. Half is fried and the other half is always grilled. Response: dear ellen, we should please evaluate something truthfully. The waiter has instead of 26 €, Typed €28 for the wine. That was just an unconscious typo. He has apologized for it several times. Because he himself was uncomfortable. Which is totally human.. It is not nice to judge people, but to improve them. The waiter didn't try to explain to you that the wine price on the menu has changed and that's why you have a price difference (communication error because English was spoken) Rather, you (the lady) ordered octopus casserole from the menu (€23.90) but noted the price for calamari rings (€14.90). You thought that the waiter wanted to rip you off. Because the typo happened once, you immediately included everything and assumed that we were giving you completely different prices. You (the lady) realized her mistake after the waiter brought the menu and showed you the prices (how much the octopus casserole costs). Then you apologized. But it's no way for her husband to yell and insult us in the restaurant in front of all the guests! It's a F****ing Restaurant, we all didn't think it was nice to yell through the whole restaurant and asked you to leave the restaurant. Which wasn't wrong either. We must also not forget that you took the water bottle with you. The bottle was not yours. We don't need €2.00 which is undeserved. There is a listing on every invoice. It is your responsibility as a guest to check the bill. And our job, if we make a mistake, to fix it. If you go shopping at Edeka or in a shopping center and the cashier scans an item twice even though you only bought it once, you don't yell in front of everyone, do you?! We would like to summarize again that we have been running the restaurant for almost seven years and have never taken advantage of the guests in this way! Neha Chohan: The cozy restaurant overlooks junction near Hotel Moabit. It has nice big outdoor seating area. We had a lazy Friday lunch here. Ordered their special Yeni Raki drink and the cocktail Hugo to start with. It was different and refreshing. For mains, we ordered the grilled salmon and prawns skewers. It was served with a side of bread and fresh salad. The food was delicious, the ambience was fun, laid back and the staff was super friendly. This is a perfect place to be your local hangout.

They have been doing fish wholesale to restaurants for nearly 30 years, started with a little street kitchen some years back at their wholesale location. Some years ago they opened this restaurant. And offer fantastic fish, and very good steaks. The presentation of fresh fish next to the entrance is worth seeing. It is done with love. We often come back with friends and family, and all share the same opinion.
