ASA90 UG (limited): what do users think?

antti hoo: This is oldschool! A treasure trove of vintage cameras – some real jewels – and a decent selection of film, curated by the last analog mohican.

Hanno Hauenstein: great shop for developing & scanning negatives

Lo So: Very helpful man, old school shop.

Spyros Droussiotis: Very rude person

Ilya Marcus: Landmark.

Leon: nice

ramon clemente: It is possible that he caught the store staff on a bad day. Otherwise it is difficult to understand how they do not want to greet the client (one of them simply looked up and the other did not even turn around), avoid giving answers and have a hard time showing the exposed cameras. The knowledge of the equipment they had in the window seemed medium or scarce in some cases. Without a doubt, in my opinion, the best option if you are in that area is to go to Foto Braune just 900 meters following Karl-Marx-Straße.

Restless Leg: Super nice and super helpful! Thanks very much!

Christian Appl: Great offer of used photo and film technology. Digitization and above all SW specialist laboratory work

Message Pads: Good reaction to meet the customer expectations and sound advices provided.

Adalstein Hjelm: Just bought a used Leica MP (Typ 240) and the service was nothing short of stellar. Thank you meisters and hopefully I will be doing business with you very soon again. Cheers from Iceland. Vielen Dank.

Calumet Photo Video Berlin: what do users think?

Tiger: I came in to remove dust from my sensor on my camera, and a young man with glasses helped me so generously, and even lent me equipments like screw drivers and pressured air cleaner for free. He explained everything so clearly, even in English. The products are so well selected in the store, I bought a very nice camera bag. It’s been a while since the last time I walked out of the store, so excited to shoot some footage, all because of how lovely the employee was. One employee where I did the final payment with (possibly the head manager) strongly told me “NO!” to a simple question: if they offer any camera check up services, which left a bit of a strange feeling, but I’m sure it was not personal. Aside from that, it was a lovely time visiting!

sumera Kamel: Paul was very helpful in advising me the correct gadgets for my work. I left feeling happy. The team here is wonderful. Thank you again

Alex Archimbaud: Great service rendered from a highly knowledgeable staff member who helped me find exactly what I needed: a tiny tripod for my trusty rangefinders. Not easy, I had to go to three different shops before I found his. Danke Calumet! FYI, it was the Gitzo Mini Traveler which I can highly reccomend.

Roman Geber: Well stocked on everything from compact cameras to high end pro equipment. Impressive rental arsenal. But also plenty of bags, backpacks, tripods, adapters and other odds and ends needed for photography. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They are happy to answer questions and offer advice where needed. Yet one may also just browse in peace without the shop assistants constantly offering to "be of service". Great experience to shop for new gear at this amazing store.

Jordan Piche: Great selection of all things photography. Staff is also very friendly.

Bastian Greshake Tzovaras: Good service and quick turnaround for sensor cleaning.

David Xplorer: They have a great selection of 35 and 120 films but the gentleman at the front desk was so unfriendly and rude that I wish I’ll never go back.

Michael Bartosek: Decent selection of vintage cameras and good film selection - 35mm, 120, Polaroid! Friendly service!

Jack Wolf: Great advice, great service, great prices.

Andri: Unfriendly treatment

Francis Broek: very insightful and friendly man. Just ask him to speak English before you start 😂

Miroslav Strniste: Hello public, we have a question for you, it is purely for information only. What do you think the average price of this camera is? Thank you for all the contributions and we look forward to more contributions

Thomas Scharfstädt: Here you can get a large selection of excellent cameras from East and West Germany, Japanese brands and more. In addition, lenses of a rare kind. And always good advice. One of the best addresses in Berlin for lovers of classic film cameras. Attention: Not open every day.

An und Verkauf - Technik - Berlin Prenzlauer Berg: what do users think?

marcel stach: Super Service

030 Eldekiskeya: Good Value

M. G.: Super Service!

Kai Wegrath: Cooler dude....

Sven Buschmann: Rescue in times of need! Dropped our beloved Note 10+. Nothing worked. Then called the given cell phone number and... receive immediate feedback that the staff is ill. Nevertheless, the owner came to Prenzlauer Berg from Berlin Charlottenburg at around 8 p.m. in the evening to open the shop for us. We finally got our new cell phone at a very fair price. Thank you for the effort.

Stephanie Dahlke: Unfortunately, the shop has temporarily limited opening hours due to illness. So we scheduled the visit over the phone. The owner opened especially for us in the evening and we were able to receive our new mobile phone on the same day. Thank you for the circumstances and always happy.

Panakeia Son: Bought headphones online here. Goods are great! Contact online and by phone was easy. The shipment went out quickly. Tracking number was given. So everything went great. Gladly again!

MrPoco: I sold my switch and am happy with the price! Boss is very friendly and funny. Thanks for that.

Safelight Berlin: what do users think?

Katharina Leffers: I developed some film rolls for the first time with Safelight Berlin and am more than happy with how they turned out! Amazing quality and the scans were done earlier than it was communicated on their website :) There was a little problem with one of my rolls but the customer service was amazing and sent me the missing scans asap Totally recommend and will continue to develop my films with them!

sarah Y: I mailed my film from Bavaria and was able to download the scans online within a few days. The quality was great. I was happy to view my pictures without having to wait long. The processing time was faster than the drop-off locations around the Munich area that I checked AND it was also cheaper (even after shipping with at least two rolls). Thank you.

Amryn Shae: I’ve had my film developed many many many places but have never had such sharp, clean, gorgeous scans as I did with Safelight! So happy with how my photos turned out. Was just visiting Berlin but wish I could’ve stayed in the area to develop the rest of my film from the trip here!!!! Also, compared to back home, the prices here were excellent.

Hanna Junginger: I’ve been developing my rolls at this shop for 2 years now and I’ve been happy with the Scans but the enormous waiting time is just ridiculous. You can get jt developed quickly but you have to pay extra 5€ per roll, it’s not like the developing itself is already expensive. Doesn’t matter how much new rolls you buy online or develop, you still have to come up for the shipping. Getting the Scans back by mail will cost you 5€ too. Sadly I live on the countryside now and I don’t have that much options but if you live in Berlin - there are great places for less money, less dust on the pics and way less time(!)

Wiktoria Wyczynska: Super nice store, Alberto is super professional! Paula from lab is always responding for emails polite, good scans.Highly recommend

Anna Bevilacqua: The best place in Berlin for analog photography. Staff is amazing and they have a great selection of films, cameras and books.

Blake Smythe: Awesome friendly straff, always gets my film back quicker than expected. Best place in Berlin for all your analogue camera needs

Blake Robinson: Excellent shop sold me a zenit E for an excellent price, you can see through the viewfinder in the picture...

Carole Hassoun: Great place and service, with an amazing camera selection. Staff was very patient and helpful helping me pick a suitable camera. Highly recommended for any analog photographers around Berlin!

James Campbell: My fav photo shop in berlin. Excellent analog photo store. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Marcela Fae: great and fast for developing your normal 35mm and medium formats

john waldron: One of my favourite photo shops in Berlin analogue film cameras and lenses always a good selection in stock and always changing. Also best stop for photo development and printing at great price and better quality than the rest. A very friendly staff are very helpful and some speak English if needed.

Martin K.: My go-to photo shop in Berlin for all my analog photography needs. Quality and affordable film development. The owners are very friendly and helpful, without pushing you to buy anything. Support this local gem!

Heather Brown: Great store for photography and cameras! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable as well as friendly. I got two rolls of film developed here which were processed perfectly even though the film was blank (the numbers on the film came out correctly, so the problem was with my camera). Also, the staff were very helpful trying to help me figure out the issue I was having with my camera which I finally resolved. I highly recommend this store!

VARUN KOTIAN: Great place with friendly staff. They had good prices but I think went on a wrong time as most of the cheap films were not available.

Foto-Meyer Digital Imaging: what do users think?

Mark Turner: Great location and an excellent selection of cameras and accessories. The service is top notch. They will price match up to a certain price if you ask nicely. The prices are great anyway. I support local businesses because they are important. Give them a shot and you will be very satisfied.

James Campbell: Nice photo shop. They have analog stuff, u can get some cheap second hand equipment, and the staff is pretty good.

Chandan B S: Extensive collection of cameras. There are dedicated areas from different camera manufacturers in their place where you can try out the models you are interested to purchase. Very limited discounts. Staff do offer decent advice if you are looking for accessories. It was a pleasant and happy experience!

Sid Patil: Amazing place, it’s full of camera equipment and you’ll find the right stuff here. The staff is super nice and welcoming and will guide you. They have new stuff and their collection of preowned lenses is vast as well. I’d recommend checking their website for what you need before visiting.

C: I came here for the third time for passport/ID photos, as the first two times (years apart) were good. Overall the vibe was less friendly and attentive than before, but not horrible. BUT the Bureau then rejected the photos Meyer shot because they did not meet international biometric standards (my mouth was slightly open). So for the next 10 years I will identify myself with a bad surprise emergency machine photo taken after coming in from the rain. I did get my money back, but the photographer gave no more than a sullen look, and her colleague complained that the Bureau was too strict. I find these reactions surprising and unprofessional after such a fundamental mistake in a neighborhood shop that is supposed to know its stuff.

Víctor H Quiroz Castro: They have tons of equipment and accessories for photography and binoculars. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Totally recommended.

Konstantin Fernau: Greta Service. Staff is very knowledgable, prices are normal.

John Groenendijk: Good service, they reserved a lens for me, 1 star left because via the e-mail they gave me 80 euro for my used objective, in the shop they changed this to 20 euro!

M M Mahler: First of - the Crew is really friendly! I came to this shop because I wanted to sell my Camera. A set for the camera (bag + belt and lens) is available at ~500€ in local stores. On Rebuy I would get 300€ for the Camera alone. So I thought of supporting local business but I have to say - I was very dissapointed. Even though the camera was in near perfect condition, because we never used it, they offered me 100€ for the Camera. Saying I got the whole set to sell too and on Rebuy I would get 300€ did not change anything. The shop argumented that they have to sell guarantee too and tax etc. which is just a plain useless argument. Guarantee is nothing that should drive the price down over 66% and the tax can be put onto the customer. To sum it up - Maybe for buying Cameras this shop is pretty good but for seeling your equipment - use dedicated services like rebuy. It is not worth the travel.

Fotomax Berlin - Fotofachgeschäft Foto-Akademie & Fotostudio: what do users think?

Stefan Scholz: Among the photo stores that are still in existance, this one is a great experience. Very knowledgeable and super friendly personell, a great selection of new and used gear, plus a top consultancy. They offer photographic film as well, and support for analog gear. So far everything is as good as possible. My first review did focus on a bad experience with a warranty issue. But we all know, if something wants to go wrong, how hard you may try to avoid it, it will go wrong. This is life, at the end all fine and perfectly solved.

Andrew Reid (EOSHD): Top service and prices. Superb range of vintage lenses! Bought Minolta 28mm f2 and Contax Zeiss 45mm for use on digital with adapter. Also some interesting Polaroid kits! Nice guys and pleasant to deal with, so will be there on my next visit to Berlin. Cheers!

Ash “AJP” P: Amazing! The guys were so helpful and professional! Highly recommend especially for last minute passport photos

Guido H.: Competent and friendly advice. Good choice. Gladly again.

El fe: I would give more stars. I came with an old analog camera and mechanical problems in tow. After I was otherwise advised to just get a new one because it would not be profitable - within 20 minutes all were fixed and the whole thing just for a smile. Thank you so much for that.

click & surr: what do users think?

Michael Dimmitt: I love the knowledgeable and helpful staff, as well as lots of great film cameras & film. A niche store for 8mm film & cameras too! And they speak very good English for a non-German speaker like myself!

Daniel Clarke: Great store which has a nice range of 35mm and super 8. Was served by a young gentleman which was very informative and helpful. I Will be returning to this store next time I’m in Berlin

Fabrizio Dal Vera: Amazing store, super professional, super friendly. Highly recommended.

Tamar Friedland: Bottom line: Cute store, well designed. Over priced cameras however with terrible staff. Went with my husband to buy him a birthday gift. Staff was utterly unhelpful (short answers to our questions, minding his own business) and got annoyed when we started looking at the cameras ourselves. Not really sure how this store expects to sell... won’t be coming back.

Francesco Lusa: They promote themself as camera repair shop aswell but they just refused to check my camera because I bought it from a private seller in ebay. Never had such kind of answer, it looks like that they want to deal only with cameras from their shop (overpriced). They should be clear on this point in their info pages. Bad experience.

Laurents Mohr: Products are ok, but owner has no idea of customer service. I’ll take my money elsewhere, even though I live 50m from the store 🙁

Charlie Kedmenec: Beautiful little store with a great selection of refurbished film cameras. Friendly and passionate staff who know the inside and outs of the everything they sell

Mørningstar: Overpriced analog cameras.

Technik An und Verkauf dt.Inhaber seit 1991 Sofort Bargeld!: what do users think?

UrbnMowgli: Unfriendly liars

Who amI: Bought a used Dell 3420. Low price, fast shipping, easy payment with Paypal, flawless processing and product as shown in the pictures! All in all, went well and smoothly 👍🏽 I can recommend it !

Baran Oezsipahi: The shop is simple and clearly laid out. My order arrived very quickly and well packaged! Mr. Michalke responded to my questions in a friendly and informative manner. I would like to sincerely recommend this shop and will certainly shop here more often in the future.

ManNikFes: Large selection of analogue Nikon cameras, lenses and accessories. The online shop has a nice and clear structure. The ordered goods are always shipped quickly and well packaged. The prices are higher than on eBay or similar shops, but you can be sure that the condition is as described and that everything works properly. Purchase or trade-in are also possible.

Wolfgang Weber: Offered my Nikkormat EL with 2 lenses for sale to NikonClassics; a reasonable offer came back immediately, the money transfer went the same way - gladly again! Serious dealer!

FOTOIMPEX GmbH: what do users think?

Mørningstar: I had a great service when I was at the store to develop my film roll. The only issue was, they said my scans are gonna be ready in an hour and I’ll receive an email. I got the email with my scans after 3+ hours. Not a major problem, but I wish they were more precise when giving me the time frame.

Lena Hilfiker Tomas: It has been one month since I brought my films to develop here. I was told it would take 4 days to get a download link for the scans and one to two weeks to get the developed rolls. I have been to the store and told to come back thrice just to always get told it is normal and that I should just wait. I get it it is not their fault if the laboratory they cooperate with is operating at full capacity but you should manage expectations and customer service better regardless.

claire zee: Having been a returning customer over the years spending a lot of money on film, development and disposable cameras, I recently dropped off two sets of b&w film to be developed. I was told I would have my digital copies within two weeks. After three weeks passed without any copies, I called the store probably 10 times, spoke to the store manager, the lab, went to the store physically to look for my film and was constantly told that I should be patient my film is probably somewhere in the lab. After 6 weeks of trying to get an answer on where my film was, one of the store managers finally responded to my email and made an effort to try and find my film, only to let me know they LOST IT 🤯. Precious memories, time spent with precious people dear to me, are now gone. The store manager informed me they’ll reimburse the film and the costs for development, DUH 🙄, but that’s it! No explanation, no further offering out of courtesy to compensate me for the lost film, precious memories and 6 weeks of trying to get an answer on where my film was. Typical German ‘customer service’ in my honest opinion. Will not spend any more money here, ever.

Pere Manresa: Really regret going to this place and spending money here. I saw how a person was treated disrespectfully, because they were a foreigner! Rude attitude with RACIST notes. On top of that, they’re super slow in their service, take forever to develop the films. Never coming back here.

Angelo Brandes: Awesome film lab with a great selection of local brands, books and magazines.

Ian Jindal: Delightful, specialist store with film, chemicals and processing equipment for analogue photography. Limited stock, some looks a bit tired, but nicely presented, knowledgeable staff and a treasure trove.
