Kimia Kazemi: What a wonderful place! Marion knows perfect english which is so helpful when you are a foreigner living in Berlin. She is also so kind and gentle with my dog. My dog has usually had anxiety to go to the pet groomer ever since I can remember! This process is a very stressful one for animals to go through. However, since we have gone to the Best Friend Shop, my dog has been very relaxed with the process! Everything is perfect about this place, and I would totally recommend it to everyone!
Alejandra Regalado Gil: By far the best haircut my dog has ever had!!! It is not easy to get an appointment, but if you are lucky you will be more than happy with their service. I have a Maltipoo and she's never looked more cute. They actually have the expertise and take the time to make recommendations on how to trim their face and body in a way that fits your dog's personality and breed. The hairdresser is super friendly and clearly loves dogs. My dog is normally a bit shy and scared of going for a wash or a haircut, but this place was the exception. I really couldn't recommend it enough.

Natalia Filvarova: Excellent pet store that has everyone you might need! They have a huge cat and dog selection as well as a bit of stuff for rodents and birds. You can also donate things to local animal shelters. It’s of course welcoming to your four legged friends so you can come together and choose the best treats and toys :)

Julia Scheffer: The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Even though it is a rather small store it is well stocked and there is a wide product range to choose from :-) There are a lot of different dog treats, meals and toys. You can also pay by card when you spend more than 10euro.

Ángela Catalán: Puppies, beware! Our puppy accidentally made 3 drops of pee on the floor. While we were cleaning it with a desinfecting whipe, we were kicked out of the store... and on top we were shouted at and publically shamed for our behaviour. Instead of being understanding and discrete (this is a dog store, isn't it?), they decided to make us feel horrible for an accident that we tried to fix immediately and that of course had made us feel already embarrassed. We used to love this store and their products, but we were treated horribly today... Never coming back again.
Emily S: My dogs love this store. They offer a variety of nutrious and all natural treats for pets and always give samples. It can add up quick, but if you only buy a few things at a time it's ok. The dog clothes are all higher-end and expensive but look really nice. The staff have always been pleasant and friendly to us.

William van Tubbs: Really expensive stuff for your pet. We love the Cloud7 leashes and collars for our dog, the quality of everything here is outstanding. If you are looking for something special and money is not the main object but rather "wow factor" this is the place to go and have a look. Staff is a bit snobby and sometimes can want to make a sale a bit too much. You get the feeling that they are used to people just asking questions but not buying. Since the place is always full, especially on the weekends, I guess that they have to be a bit pushy, otherwise they could not get to everyone. We will go again and buy more things for our dog, but every time you think "did I really just spend that much for the dog"? And deep down you know you just did it for yourself, the dog doesn't care. :-)

Got him a nice collar which they happily made a new hole in to fit him perfectly :) Very friendly and helpful service, would definitely recommend!

Stefanie Masnik: One of the nicest dog shops in town! We love him! Super friendly and great advice! I don't understand why some give lower ratings here because of the prices. At Kiezhund you get quality and you are happy to pay for it. If I don't want that, no one is forcing me to buy anything. there are people... Back to Kiezhund: here you will find great treats, harnesses, leashes, food, toys, beds, bowls, etc., so something of everything is available and that too from great suppliers. I think it's great that smaller companies are also given the opportunity to sell their products to their mistresses.

OZ: On the question if stuff spoke English two people out of two said "no". I had a minor question so I continued in English and they both understood me and replied. Feels a bit strange when people don't even want to try to help you

Riccardo Mattioli: Conveniently next to ring S_Bahn station, this pet store has a big variety of dog, cat, small animals and fish products. There's also a modern grooming saloon. Personnel was kind despite busy time.
Sigute: Great aquarium section! Anything you might need for your fish tank, from decorations including driftwood pieces and rocks as well as castles etc to large selection of fish and plants. You can also buy aquariums here.

Burak Atsu: If you are a cat owner avoid this place. For a flagship store the selection is ridiculously small. Cant even get a proper leash or items of quality. Eric Willinghan: Wow... friendliest work staff I've had in Berlin. They were low on supply of cat food but probably not related to their fault but the volume of customers they have.. since they are so nice everyone goes there for their cat food. Great prices too.
L M: Pretty good. Lots of different types of snacks for dogs. They definitely need more variety of dry dog food though, and more high-end brands.

It is a small Fressnapf but to be honest the cat selection, which is what I needed isnt much smaller than the Fressnapf XL that I have been to in the past. The staff were friendly. I will go again if I want to buy something in person rather than doing a big online shop.

A small parrot flew into my loggia and I could not let it out, it's clearly a domestic bird and the weather conditions in Berlin will have probably kill it. I decided to take care of it meanwhile the Bird association reply back to me. I did not know what kind of cage I supposed to buy, food, or anything. Eric Willinghan: They always have so many great food choices... I can find all the special foods my cats and dog need... very nice place.
Mellissa McConnell: Nice staff, clean store, easy to get to, and a really large selection. Also you can take your animal in with you. It’s kind of a trap though because there’s a “candy aisle” full of unpackaged treats and chews right next to the checkout, which seems a little cruel to make the animals endure while waiting in line.

Edd Payne: Pretty well stocked pet shop (selling food and accessories rather than pets) but sometimes missing random things (like a particular variety of food which they've always had in the past). Also had to argue with the cashier to get her to take my German-issued Maestro, despite them saying they take Maestro (she argued that meant only GiroCard). If they took credit cards I'd give them an extra star.

Mahboob M: One of the biggest petshopes that I ever seen! I went there to buy food, for my cats. The shop have everything! Almost all necessary supplies for dogs, cats and birds; such as beds, houses, toys, various foods, collars, etc. I give 3 stars cause animals art not for us to buy and sell. They sell live birds and bugs, fishes :(
John: Well stocked pet store. Friendly and very educated stuff. Some products are overpriced but generally very good place for buy toys and food for our beloved pets.
Ahmed Hasan: A huge place for shopping for your lovely pets. From cat-dogs and all other animals, you’ll find everything under one roof. Very helpful staff and guides very genuinely without any sorts of promotion selling. Easy shopping and checkout process making the whole experience good. They even have fishes and live exotic animals along with rats and hamsters. You can easily spend over an hour and end up shopping a lot for the lovely pets. Prices are reasonable and the stock variety is huge compared to fressnapf.

Response: I understand the disapointment, when you come to our store with a credit card and the system dosn't work and you don't have cash with you. For us it was also very disapointing and we feel sorry for our customer but it was nothing, that we could change. Normally you can pay by cash, creditcard or EC-card, but at the moment in whole Germany were in many stores the same problem, that the system didn't took credit cards or payment by your phone. At the moment you can only pay with cash or EC-card. I don't understand and it makes us really sad, that you gave us only one star, just because of a problem, that we couldn't change. Stella Dou: This is a very awesome place for pet. For dog, there are toys, food, all kinds of snacks and accessories you need. You can find these products in a fare price. You can also find some high price products. In summary, all the major and high end pet brands can find here!
Mateusz Gozdek: Close to public transport, big choice of everything, shop is very big. Rabbits, hamsters etc has big and nice cages, highly recommend. Can't say anything about staff, but they seem nice.
Roy Grossman: The biggest and best pet store in the neighborhood. This place has all you need for your dog, cat, hamster, rabbit, fish, snake, bird, and the list of animals goes on and on.... The staff is super friendly to answer any questions you have. Their prices are fair, sometime cheaper than Amazon! This place is pet friendly so you can bring your pet into the store.

--: The shop has a great selection.....but unfortunately the advice was very bad!!!!I bought great coats for my yokeir terrier this year, but none of them fit him after a few months!!!!Although I said he did must also fit next year....a large piece is missing everywhere at the back....looks very ugly....and I am often asked about it. I'm very upset about it... and disappointed.... and sad... what a pity!!!! Coats are sold larger... or you advise the customer to buy just one and not more.... .well, there are other shops....

Jane Radstrom: The owner is very nice, and speaks English. He's more familiar with dog nutrition than cat, but they have what you need here for either. I get a custom grind of poultry meat with hearts and livers then make my own food with the necessary supplements for my cat. He will grind your order on demand (not necessary to call ahead).
Amit Kumar (EZIO): The best place for dog raw food. The owner is really nice and he also recommends the food based on your dog breed or age. I would definitely recommend it for everyone to at least give it a try once.
Sebastian Lüttich: Everything your dog needs - foodwise. From treats to fresh beef, chicken, lamb and minced greens. Frozen, dried, pre packed or in bulk. Reasonable priced. Cash or card. The shop owner knows what he's doing.

Gabi Vogt: Absolutely not worth the visit. The portfolio of leashes and collars is nothing special or in any way inspiring. Brands like Hunter and Trixie can be found at discounters like Fressnapf. The owner resp. sales person is not relatable. She was neither interested in me as a customer nor in my twelve month old puppy. Just because I drove for half an hour and I did not want to go through the traffic again to another place I bought a collar and rain jacket for my pup and some treats. I paid a total of 70 Euro. Two days later I brought my puppy and a friend to the store. My friend wanted to see, if I was right about what I told her about my first visit and unfortunately, she bought a leash and a collar for more than 90 Euro. I should have dragged her out the store because: The woman in the store did like she never saw me before (not only my pup is very recognizable) until it came to the payment with my credit card which is confirmed by my signature only not with PIN. That's when this woman finally signaled that she knew me: "Oh, yes, the card with the signature". Maybe the store owner/sales person does not need the money. Would it be so, the decoration and lighting would be much nicer and the contact with the customers and their dogs would be friendlier. If you cannot even fake interest in owners/pups, then you should not run a store. I will never go there again. I should have tried to scare my friend away from buying expensive stuff there. I definitely prefer the more friendly and helpful sales people at Fressnapf or Futterhaus. Should you ever be in Hamburg, I recommend you to visit the store "Treu" on Lehmweg. This is how a nice and dog-friendly shop should be run with LOTS of FANTASTIC choices of collars, leashes, toys, beds, etc. with owners who care and are warm and welcoming. Of course, your dog get an offer with a complimentary treat. Woof woof!

Yasmina Ha Ka: I really recommend HOLY DOG. I enjoy coming here to pick up my pup’s weekly BARF rations and snacks for our indoor enrichment. You can pre-order and pre-pay via their website. I like to pick up extras in the shop, they have a changing selection. The owner and their staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and have sample snacks to offer my pup (which she loves, of course!). You can tell they have a loyal customer base because I often see the same people week in, week out.
