Skatehalle Berlin: what do users think?

&Tilly [andtillycom]: Top place for skaters (spacy covered hall) and for bouldering (indoor and outdoor). Pity it´s NOT for stunt scooters. So this is a non-skater review. It’s not just a place. Big “garden” for street-food, courses, program

Marta Franco: This place is great. They have dedicated sessions for roller skaters twice a month, which is nice but definitely not enough. Please consider adding a couple more!

Wojciech Gancarczyk: I went back to skating after a really long pause. After work session on Thursday is just a perfect time for beginners and people coming back to it. This spot has just enough obstacles to satisfy everybody.

J. F.: Today the newly made outside part of the Skatehalle opened, free to use for everyone. It was a nice opener! Berlin Skate scene is dope.

Patrick Smith: That blond clerks attitude, what a drag. The skatepark doesn’t seem to be aware of the Zeitgeist. All wheels sports are separated. My girl and I aren’t able to skate together. Different tool means different time slot. Why not bring them all together? Stuck in 1994 is what that is…!!!
Response: Thank you for your feedback. If we allowed all 'wheel sports' at the same time, we would turn into a drop off for scooter kids by tomorrow. And we would make much more money. But we don't want to. We are primarly a skatepark for skateboarders, run by skateboarders. WCMX is also allowed in every session. Roller skates and BMX have their own regular time slots. That's the best we can do. You don't have to like it.

Jessy N. Marine: Cool staff, super friendly and helpful! Big bowl, street, mini ramp and chilling areas in or outdoor. Pretty cheap too, sooo perfff! Love it. 🏾

C Walter: We had a great time here. Special thanx to Dennis who was the instructor for the girls.

Peppy Cheng: Nice people, nice atmosphere with a big bowl to skate. More to come...

Nicocheetoo: the best skatepark i have seen in berlin, if you pay five euros i have the all day for skating in chill, but if you don’t won’t to pay u can just skate in the free outside park, near you have bars, beers, climbers, house concerts and a lot of things… one bad point, you can’t take a beer inside for the glass ahahah

Gleisdreieck - Skatepark: what do users think?

Najeeb Haddadin: Very big park for chilling, also there is a kiosk and a cafe in the park. Scating is available also basketball pingpong tables. Its cool place to be at.

ʟᴇᴏɴ: Very nice place to ride bowls. The small is simply one of the best that I have ever seen : perfectly sized and well set up. The bigger is a bit more hardcore, but really fun if you have a bit of level. Take note that there is also a small red lane that surrounds the skatepark, where you can easily practice some flat ground. The community there is always very friendly, unless you come there on a crowded Friday or Saturday afternoon. If you’re planning to go there, I’d advise to check it out in the morning, preferably during the week. There’ll only be maybe ten chill adults, without any scooter kids nearby. Also, there is a tap right next to the spot, very practical when you’re thirsty and haven’t got any water. Simply one of the best places to skate in Berlin.

be n: Great place to skate. The smaller bowl is superb for more technical ride, the bigger allows you to do some airs on its vert part. Unfortunately often very, very crowded.

Alexander Flensburg: BMX, Skateboard and Kickbikes share this pool and is the heart of Gleisdreick I would say. Next to it is a graffiti wall that is constantly being updated with new fresh creations as well as a streetsoccer field and some (pretty crappy) basketball hoops.

dallascartwright1: Fun place to hang, enjoy being outside. Everyone was nice and respectful.

Elder Skates: The pools are a lot more shallow than they look in the pictures. The deep end is almost 2 meters in the big pool, so not very big, but still fun.

Emiliano il serpe: Really cool bowls to skate but always really busy during the afternoon

Eva Resch: Could be so nice, unfortunately terribly dirty - please Berlin, come more often and show this place a little Love ♥️... And please people, take you f***in trash with you!!! 🙈

Tanner Robinson: Wouldn’t ever consider this a skatepark. Leaves and rocks everywhere and kids playing around make it impossible to do anything

Adi O: Im a starter and its Full of little stones so u cant really skate

Jonas Pooters: Kids parents and bepels. Also the geometry of the place is nothing for skateboarding

Jose Sanchez (Jose Sanchez): I like the graffitis for my pictures 😝

Eric Kim: Cool public skate park!

Heran Bago: Calling it a skatepark is kind of an insult to real skateparks.

be n: Big skatepark with a lot of different obstacles. Looks amazing but has some major flaws. The vert ramp is made of metal and extremely slippery - dangerous to ride. The quaterpipe below the wallride sticks like 1cm from it (at least when I was last time there) so you can hang out while coming back on a skateboard (I did it it and fall badly). Nevertheless, it is still a nice place to visit, especially the long downhill is something really unique and a must-try! If the problems mentioned will be ever fixed I will definitely give 5 stars.

Mel0n: Pretty cool park, not that beginner friendly and consider wearing a helmet while going up for the quarterpipe. The quarterpipe is made out of two different pieces and one is slightly further back, so your wheel can get stuck in it, happened to me . Had to go the hospital to check if I had a concussion.

CheRebel Music: Rave on 🤖

Dan 2.0 Kretschmann: Fun

Angel Camp: Top

FusioN: itself a very varied and well-preserved skate park, but the water is always standing at the bottom due to a lack of drainage options

Jenny Klatte: Skate park very cool

zyzz. jim: Have been here many times and the skate park is very, very nice. Only the little scooter drivers and parents with their 3-year-old children on tricycles are upset, because you cannot drive continuously, but always have to watch out for small children ...

Шо: Sick concrete park some obstacles are very steep and you rarely get the speed to jump over the volcanos but i still had a lot of dun here. Nice

Stefan Welker: Nice concrete park - slightly steep transitions.

Bruno Machado: The big rail is nice, the ramps also nice but too small and not really good flow-wise

Jonas Pooters: Fun little trany park. There is one knee high hand rail. No copings. Few other obstacles and few bigger transitions.

Sergio PV: Thought it would protect against the rain. It did not. I will try it out again in spring

Hamza Nukic: Nice and good for fun from child to old.It have much bridges and very good for skates

Max Piplat: Love this park. A lot of transition. Is under the highway so kinda safe from rain

Ben Tanamal: Not the nicest place, but good for 8 years and up.

Josef Welker: Nice place nice people and awesome concrete skatepark

Gary Jon Ward: Nice and tranquil. Lovely area for skaters and bicycles.

EricTheTurtle: I bet Mellowpark used to be a great park to have loads of fun sessions at. Currently, Mellowpark is sadly quite run down. Main skatepark: smallish street section, some taller quarterpipes and lines, and the resi landing. Pro Park: large quarterpipes, spine, etc. must be fun if you are comfortable riding features this large. Foampit: closed during bad weather and such Small Park area right next to the foampit: good for flowing around some quarterpipes and getting some spine riding in Pumptrack: Good pumptrack where some flow can be found Bmx Racetrack: fun to cruise around on, but especially the first couple jumps require so much speed to clear DIY Spot: hidden in the far corner of mellowpark, but can be fun Vert Ramp: dead, unridable :( Concrete Park: sadly closed off indefinitely as the building surrounding the park on all sides is beyond repair and closed. Indoor Park: only open when raining or snowing sadly :( Dirt Jumps: only the beginner line on the far left side was open, and quite run down at that. Entrance fee: 3€ I’ve visited twice, and felt kind of disappointed each time. The best thing to happen to Mellowpark would be a decently sized inflow of cash to restore and build out some areas. Ride on :)

Sveni S: Skate boarding, BMX-cycling, events, fun, graffiti ... MellowparkGreat place to sport, to chill, to enjoy a day with kids or become a child again. Wonderful youth project and future bmx olympic training area. Large area at the water front of the Spree.

quinn Tustanoff: All the photos on the website are completely wrong and half of the stuff dosent even exist anymore. Not worth coming as a skater unless you just wanna be around a bunch of bmx’s

Darryl Seah: update your photos bro

Volodymyr Linevych: This place is a paradise for bmx riders, skaters and MTB enthusiasts. There is a big street area, several ramps, an asphalt pumptrack, small indoor area and a dirt jumps trail. Also great people around.

S. Manga: Loved it! 😍

Jan Karol: Very good skatepark, skating is very fun,but most obstacles lean towards bmx and scooter

Adam Jodko-Narkiewicz: Great place for extreme sports lovers. Must visit if you ride on skates, skateboards, scooters or bmx!

uwu Marcel: We did a Rave with The Local Skate Hoboo and some Skaters that where there it was amazing Until the Police arrived and told us To turn down the music then we Moved under The Bridge on warschauer Straße and Continued there Pretty Nice Night Greet The Local Skater Hoboo from me if You See him

Gomes Fábio pizzachefpointbreakrodando: Very good, is better in the morning, more less people, if you and enjoing your training, morning time is best.

Matthew Kriegel: Super good spot. Lots of amazing granite hoping to grind. A few super unique features that a lot of parks don’t have. Like the metal perforated fence wall ride with angle iron on the top. Watch out for Skooter kids in the morning.

Robert Wynn: Great for skating and lots of generous dogs serving chocolate ice cream. It tasted a little weird but it didn’t ruin the trip!

Milan Schumann: How?

Marcus Bland: No social distancing,no masks, rubbish everywhere. Still the kids were enjoying themselves.

Jesse: Nice little park

Claudiu Cezar: Good spot for non skaters who like skate-gazing :D

Nikke Sillanpää: Very versatile park and a great atmosphere!

Tavy Hornbrook: awesome park but often too full ...

Florin Haiciu: A cool one în the city

Isabel Bruda: Excellent Skatepark!! Perfect floor, completely new and great flow of the park. Bit crowed all the time but is worth it to go. Close toilets inside the Halle next to it and good atmosphere

MF STIEF: Currently one of Berlins best skateparks. Most of the obstacles are placed nice but the rail placement doesn’t really make sense. It’s quite full in the afternoon but in the morning you’re often alone. Supermarket right around the corner.

Cygnus: Good skatepark, has plenty ramps and a good bowl section.

Bruno Machado: The park is really nice, perfect for blading also... But it gets pretty crowded on sunny weekends

ruben lommers: Really nice park just wish there were less kids

Red print: Epic place to skate. Best in Berlin tbh. Many people and nice objects to skate

be n: This park has some really unique obstacles, they are small but have pretty demanding angles - you need to try them to understand what I mean. Definitely worth going there.

Ernesto Westermeyer: Wild

J4r00n: Not too recommended for bikes, the individual features are too far apart and the transitions are really heavy. Think as a skateboarder you have more fun.

Ваня Баранов: Nice park, for a beginner there are also different figures

Maurice Gerhardt: Very chilled little park for street skating.

Sail H.: Small, easy to drive, empty and nice.

Jens Meistersinger: very nice court

Hamdi Alsamman: Really good

dieser Pockey: Really amazing place good obstacles nice ledges amazing for grinds and stair tricks the ground is a bit weird at first but U get used to it fast

Jan Karol: Very cool skating spot, must be intermediate to take advantage of all the obstacles

Rollerei Brettliebe: Nice location and nice grind feeling thanks to stone ledges but unfortunately not really dynamically built and supposedly forbidden for everyone except skateboarders (which sounds a bit like exclusion to me) fortunately the roller skaters and co. ignore that. 🙂

D. Selmonaj: Very cool and many different obstacles, ideal heights and an interesting floor made of tiles. Great vibes due to the location at Tempelhofer Feld and the people. Highly recommended.

Ваня Баранов: Steep park, there are many extraordinary figures

Pascal: Super skate plaza, unfortunately very windy at times due to the open location

Lee: Really very crowded, almost only skaters

Chris Franke: Locals are super friendly and fun. Good spot to have on the list when doing spot hopping.

Sam Clark: Good skate, pretty awesome morning crew.

Gordon Shumway: There are only a few public skate and streetball courts in Berlin that have not been misused as seating by loitering suffocates or even by wannabe scene people. Here you can devote yourself to your favorite hobby in the middle of the city, almost undisturbed by cyclists, pedestrians and dogs. A star deduction because here and there are some holes in the asphalt.

Kukaari: Chilling park and nice gap

Burkhard Schulz: Just been a bit crowded Nothing distance a salary

Forresto: Great skatepark for grinds with plenty of ledges and a few stairsets. Like most parks in Berlin it can get crowded quick. Also, has a pretty sick dirt track out back for those into riding dirt jumps.

Jonas Michaelis: Small Skatepark, needs some time to get used to, but is a lot of fun. The ground is rough though.

Red print: Nice beginner park
