KAT KOAN: As I’m currently recording a new album I wanted to try out some microphones to figure out which one would best suit my voice. The consultation at Echoschall was way beyond expectations. Carsten and his colleague invested time to let me test a number of microphones and recommended a fantastic mic & pre-amp combination that was perfect for my recording needs. The only problem is that I have now fallen in love with the equipment and my heart hurts as I have to return it…. ;) So glad I found Echoschall, the service is and equipment quality is outstanding. I recommend them unreservedly.
Cellar Kid: I borrowed the U47 from Echoschall for a long time. I once borrowed the C12, U67 vintage, U47 and U87 vintage for a shootout. Each microphone in absolute top condition. When I asked, Carsten sold / brokered several vintage preamps for me and I have bought a U87ai + U67 reissue through him in recent years. I always felt really well advised. He always responded to my "special requests" and always found a suitable solution for me. From my point of view, there is no better and more competent address for renting vintage audio equipment.
Lars Grimmer: Friendly and competent! A friend and I needed recording equipment for an order at short notice. We got this from Echoschall Rental and when we picked it up we were also given instructions on how to use it. The owner took his time and explained everything to us - we were even able to do tests. Communication was always uncomplicated and flexible. From our point of view, the price/performance ratio is top. Clear recommendation. Class technology rental!

Rajko Schlee: A perfect experience! 1. ... first contact me by phone: I got to an attentive listener whom I could calmly describe my ideas and the project. 2. ... visit to the shop: pleasant first personal encounter with the attentive listener (owner Carsten), friendly atmosphere in the shop, great ambience! ... and .... there were already two microphone world stars ready for me to listen to in detail :-), the comparative rehearsal then expanded to include a wide variety of models, no attempt was too stupid for Carsten and I just got it enjoyed hearing these comparisons ... U67, AKG 414, M49, U89 etc .... A real experience! There was also time for a pleasant exchange of ideas on all kinds of current topics. 3 .... Result: ... through the experience and advice of Carsten, and above all through the extensive trial and error, a completely different candidate turned out to be the winner than I initially expected ... I then strolled home with a huge ribbon microphone from the 50s with the accessories I needed in my suitcase. I am happy as a little child! give 10 stars!

Because we return the speakers not that clean he taked the deposit (that’s fine) and then he tryed I pay 125€ more for the clean. It wasn’t enough the 100€ deposit? Now I will show the way he communicate with me this.. be aware of this kind of people! (All of this just because the speakers were with dust)

Kfir Harbi: Very creative people, they helped me alot and created for me this very cool POV helmet for a video clip I did. Great service.
Simon Riegel: We did not receive exactly what was agreed, but this could be remedied by changing the optics. But there was also a case of damage and this was handled very unprofessionally. Apart from general unfriendliness, the lawyer was threatened almost immediately, although we were only trying to find out whether the damage was there beforehand.
Noah Schuller: Not recommendable. Unfriendly and unprofessional. Then had to quickly rent from another rental company because the device was not functional. Too bad.
Felix Pöhland: Absolutely not recommended. I rented an underwater case there, completely leaking, camera broken, I was immediately threatened with the lawyer.
