Planet Wein - Weinhandel am Gendarmenmarkt: what do users think?

Simon Mitton: We found Planet Wein by accident on a Friday afternoon. We went in just to have a look, and stayed for two hours! The staff were amazing, attentive and presented us with a choice of excellent wines. We had two bottles which were both excellent. It was such a great experience we went back the following day and spent another two hours enjoying two more excellent wines that we would never have discovered without their expert help. If we’re ever back in Berlin we’ll make this a destination stop. If you’re visiting Berlin and enjoy wine, you must visit!

Alexander G.: Lovely wine shop, great selection of wines and very kind service. Thanks for the Friedrichstraße case, the residents appreciate the contribution and the result lots and thank you for your action.

J J: The wine store was very dirty and the staff was not very helpful. The selection was not very good either.

Dubovik Sergey: Absolutely lovely small wine store / wine bar in Berlin. Besides decent wine by glass selection, they offer some food as well. Well worth the visit

Eliot Beriault: Expensive compared to other wine shops selling the same products. Plus the service was arrogant and unhelpful.

Beáta Tóthová: We stumbled upon this place tired and hungry and it proved to be the best coincidence of the day. The personnel was very attentative and kind. The food they offered was just great, all made in germany from small producers. Needless to say that the couple of wines we tried were just amazing. It was a very cute place, with good music and a real gem in Berlin.

TREAT Neukölln - Natural Wines: what do users think?

Tobias: Cute little place in the heart of hip Neukölln with good wines, great staff and nice food.

Chris S: Loved their Bio-Dynamic-Wine: great taste and price! The service was excellent with very good advice for our influencer event in Berlin. I can only highly recommend their personalized service and amazing selection of high-quality natural wines. 🍷👌🏼

Patricio Simon: Julia has excellent taste in wine and everything she has recommended to us so far has been a revelation. The online shop has a beautiful selection of natural wines that are delicious. Ideal for beginners: I can recommend the subscription where you start with biodynamic wines and slowly enjoy the natural, more funky ones. It was great to get to get guided in loving natural wines.

Pauline Norden: Super cosy little place, friendly people, and great wine. Had a really nice orange wine.

Yaprak Aras: Great natural wine selection by lovely people. Be sure to check out their online store as well.

Aleksandra Kwiatkowska: Great shop with natural wines, staff is very helpful, prices are reasonable.

Rocket Wine Berlin: what do users think?

Jung Woo Yae: Amazing wine, friendly staffs… A wonderful place for your natural wine addiction. Not only can you buy a nice bottle of natural wine at affordable price to drink here or to go, but also you can manage your thirst by glasses.

Deniz Uzunoglu: Fantastic!Really fun selection and the woman that helped me was super knowledgeable and helped me find the absolute perfect wines. Very much looking forward to going again and again.

Juan Ovando: An amazing natural wine shop. The selection is so good, changes often and the service is top stuff. Vibes are great. A must see.

Martin Korn: Extremely nice and competent owner and a selection of very tasty natural wines, either to be bought as bottle to take home or to drink sitting outside, having a nice chat with friends. Prices are good, compared to what you get for. Try it!

Eric Chow: Hip wine bar, which is led by enthusiastic "youngsters". Highly recommend!

Fiora Giappiconi: Nice place, fine wine.

Sébastien Roy: What a nice place to discover and talk about natural wines! Staff is super friendly and know a lot about their wines and their producers. If you already tried the natural wine, give them a try to boost you knowledge and keep discovering new stuff. They are always willing for some tasting!!

Felix Lutterbeck: I had booked a tasting here as a christmas present for some family and friends. We were served 6 very unique wines and artisan cheeses by our host Jeff. He was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent introduction to the world of natural wines. Jeff had great stories about every individual bottle as well as about the natural winemaking process. As always in the world of wine, not everyone loves the same thing, but everyone in our group found their favourite. I definitely recommend everyone to check this place out. Talk to the team, let them recommend a bottle, or better yet go and do a wine tasting. We had a lot of fun.

Robin Hunt: Nice natural wines!

Klemke Wein & Spirituosenhandel GmbH: what do users think?

Ron: Far away from 5 stars. Don’t go Saturday’s and start eating at 2pm, because you’re kicked at 2:28pm. The food will be taken from you while you eat. Arguing with the owner is useless. Service is a word he doesn’t know. At least he doesn’t know the meaning of it. It doesn’t help to have good wines if you don’t know customer service. We will never come back, spread the word and can only recommend not to go here!

Pete Collingwood-Trewin: This place is an amazing find. From the outside it looks like a Wine Merchants. Inside you discover it IS a wine merchants but is also an eatery. The food is traditional German, yet some of the meats they have are made specifically for them to the requirements of the owner. The food is exquisite, well presented and extremely tasty. They offer take out as well as eat in or on the street at the outside tables. The ladies serving the food are very jovial and friendly. Alongside the food is the wine merchants, they have a huge selection of wine, champagne and spirits, and the staff are on hand to help out and they offer great advice and knowledge. They are only open for food at lunchtime, so be sure to go and experience this true traditional experience. I guarantee you won’t have experienced anything like it before! Highly recommended.

Ksenia Titova: I would put 5 stars, but the dish was a bit tasteless.

J P: Best place for good food and wine! Great place for a lunch break.

Micky Gliese: Best asortment of wine. Super nice staff with knowlegde. There is also a delivery possible. Over lunchtime they open a a lunch space, for your Mittagspause. Good value for money

simon pope: Excellent quality, authentic lunchtime food in a superb, upmarket wine shop. A real find and highly recommended!

Mads Klifoth: Great wine, food at very reasonable prices and happy people. We are coming back soon! BR Mads from Copenhagen

Наташа Путина: Great place for a quick eat, sometimes very crowed what proves the quality of food. They make incredible fish.

Briefmarken Weine: what do users think?

Sylvia Taylor: Atmosphere, wine selection, food quality, attentive service- everything was 5 stars. It’s a small local place, that I don’t want everyone to know about, but you should. And their Almond (!) Tiramisu was 6 stars! Bravi!!! Ritornerò!!

Marina Noelia Cabane: Beautiful place to have a nice conversation and drink delicious wine. The service is really friendly and they make good suggestions. It is a bit pricey but worth it, the wine selection is top class.

Claudia: As you enter this place you are welcomed by a magnificent candle light and antique walls. Sitting in any table you have a nice view of good wine opened bottles (decor). The menu offers a small but good variety of italian food. I had the vegetables, really tasty bread, and a pumpkin soup with Gorgonzola, while my friend shared the food with me and tried the alici with robiola (sadly not recommended, really small and poor dish). All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. But some are too expensive and small portions. Good wine list!!! What a pity that the service is too slow!

Hans Müller: They say Italians do it better...and they are right :D I think I wrote a review before but I love this place so much so here comes another update. Love this place in Friedrichshain. Seriously a place with one of the best wine selections. If you like literature, art, old Italian movies you will understand how to wine makes love to your mouth..it transports you into a different world and tells a story. The cheese plate is soooooooo good. you need to try the cheese plate. Also the octopus salad was super good. The location is great. The waiters and service are always very friendly and know a lot about their wines. I never had a bad experience here and I come once a week almost. Card payment possible.

Ekaterina Chekarova: Very nice and delicate place! The owner is really passionate about the wine selection as well as about food! We ordered the cheese plate and we were informed that we need to eat it in exact order from light to intense flavour. The menu is changing every day(but I am not sure, maybe weekly). The dish of the day was Pasta from Sicilia with sardines, lemon and herbs. Everything was delicious but the dishes are quite small maybe with a reference to luxury quality style dishes. Also, the place is slightly expensive.

Jack Higgins: Lovely staff and a beautiful cosy atmosphere. Would recommend the anchovy bruschetta, it was delicious!

Karolina Fela: Cozy, romantic place with exceptional atmosphere and phenomenal wines. We had some really great starters but the main dish disappointed a little. We will come back for sure to try other wines and dishes :)

Wine Material: what do users think?

Kevin Rodriguez: Spanish wines are underrated and this place has the most interesting wines around. Carlos and the staff are super nice and welcoming. And a tapa with every glass of wine. So easy to come back any day for a quick one. Thanks Wine Material, see you again soon!

Lyon Roque: We were there for a special Saturday evening when they had a dj. Great music and really good atmosphere. We ended up buying a total of four bottles of wine, all if which were wonderful. It’s just a shame that we got only 1 plate of tapas the whole evening while the group in front of us were served several times with multiple portions. We ended up getting pizzas from around the corner as we were a bit hungry and wanted to keep trying more wines. It wasn’t clear whether we should have ordered them? It’s a shame. It had the potential of being a perfect evening and for us to become regular customers. Oh well.

Ad! d: One of the best tasting experiences I have had. It’s a cozy place with excellent wine and food selection.

Courtney Allis: Fab place with an amazing selection of natural wine - I haven’t seen this selection anywhere else in Berlin. Owner was lovely and very welcoming! Go there and enjoy the finest wine!

Mihaela Sacara: Great wine tasting experience, very special wines and cool knowledgeable owner!

Elizabeth Davies: What a wonderful world of natural wine you enter at Wine Material. Carlos is a treasure, and you can learn so much from him. Bonus is the tapas are also great!

Nicole Shelton: Was a fabulous shop. The man working at the time gave us a variety of recommendations ranging from classic wines to unique ones. ALSO very very reasonably priced. Visit this store!!

Jack Lancaster: Really incredible service and quality of wine. While the pours are maybe smaller as other reviewers mentioned than other wine bars in the area, the quality of the selection and service as well as the tapas justifies the price in my opinion.

Sarah D'haen: Nice wine and host but prices are totally out of proportion. We paid the price of an entire bottle for just 2 glasses of less than 0.1dl… I am quite shocked to be honest…

Weinbar Berlin: what do users think?

Maria P.: We came here when we visited Berlin a few times. A nice small wine bar in former east Berlin - very central. Quiet, relaxed, good wine and tasty food - a few options only but all good

Joey R: The food was great but took very long to arrive. We waited more than an hour. Fortunately we weren’t in a rush. The waiters were very friendly though.

job thijssen (jopoa): Amazing place for wine and a simple dinner. The dishes are not complex but are all very tasty, and complement the wine well. The wine is not expensive but really good! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and speaks good English (love you puzzle!)

Aqualibreo: Service is rather slow but very good service nonetheless. Very kind staff who make good effort to find you a suitable wine. Small and intimate. Recommend

Szabolcs Bakti: A very well put together wine selection, knowledgeable staff, cozy seating. Thank you for the amazing wines. The spot is highly recommended!

Samara: Cosy, warm with careful people for a relax experience adding that they have tons of choices on the wine card! As wine lover, found one of my place to be in Berlin to discover new wines!

Rachel Williamson: Great service!! The host walked us through the wine selection and was very attentive. Delicious wines and charcuterie! He even served us an off-the-menu dessert wine! What a treat!!!!

Constantine Fry: Its a cozy place with small kitchen and wide wine selection. We had seven people who ordered Beef Burgers and everyone enjoyed it until the last bite. The burger was also served in a very fancy way: the meat was baked inside langosch. The owner of the place are very friendly and can speak english as well.

Kelly Davey: The food and the wine were delicious. The staff were all very kind and considerate. I will definitely be back. There was a small mix up about one of my dishes and the staff handled it swiftly and accommodated with a free glass of wine. This showed me that not only do they understand the importance of good food and wine (as you can see) but also of good service ( a rare occurrence in Berlin). This will definitely be a regular stop for us. The food and the wine were amazing, staff was lovely (and spoke English and German) and the prices are very fair.

Paul Truszkowski: The Institution of palatina im Berlin. Mostly classics of german soulfood cuisine but also a decent changing three or four courses Menu. Tremendous winelist with a focus on german wineregions and some other gems. The best price-value and deepness of vintages winelist of Berlin! 👏👏👏

P V: The owner is super friendly and kind enough to let us, the two walk-in customers from Thailand, to have dinner tonight. The food is great and good price. Highly recommended and will come back again when returned to Berlin!

R Viasana: Delicious food, amazing service. Great wine knowledge.

Chiara Campani: Vincenzo and his crew were really kind; they made us feel like at home. They offered us a glass of wine as we entered the local. We had a starter and two main courses with two glasses of wine (suggested by one of the waiters!). They were all really good. The place and the people were so good that neither the rain let us go away! :)

ML Z: Vinnie and Seba lead a great team to produce some excellent food that is seasonally adjusted. The wine selection is large and a good one too. Nice cozy atmosphere inside and outside. They also have a separate larger room for bigger groups.

Dorte Skriver: Brilliant place with traditional vibes, friendly staff and really nice wine pairing.

阿圆子: Fantastic Food!!! The restaurant itself is tranquil and decorated with lots of natural element. Feels warm and homey. The food is absolutes amazing. Especially the beef. The taste is so rich and comes with multiple layers. The texture would melt in your mouth. In Chinese words it would be called 太牛逼啦

NOR - Not Only Riesling: what do users think?

valeriia raletniaia: Maybe it was the weather , perhaps a neighbourhood in which we sat on a sidewalk , using old indoor chairs. It has been three years since I visited this place but I cannot get over those big olives and ability to taste wines before purchasing them. Thank you for the good memories 💛

Sergey Kruk: Very cozy place. Huge choice of wine. It has a very spacious back terrace. Definitely have plans to come back to try out other wine options.

Julian Hitchman: Wine good but staff very unfriendly. Appears to have had a row at the front desk. After we got our food, we didn’t see them apart from having to go to the front desk to get another wine!!

Liou Grau: NOR has amazing German and Italian vine choices! Very well collection of outstanding vines, great antipasti too.

Nicholas Laane: Had a lovely evening here with friends in which we met one of the winemakers whose wine is sold here. Enjoyed a delicious and varied selection of German wines, made better by a knowledgeable and accessible explanation of what we were drinking and why it tasted the way it did. They also have a good cheese selection and great coffee. Highly recommended!

André Töpper: Extremely nice and competent. We had a very nice evening and drank great wines. In addition, some bought for the home or to give away. Thank you, I would love to come back.

Per Jacob Blut: Detailed and competent advice from extremely friendly employees! Large wine selection!

Alexander von Bettendorff: Great store. Great location. Incredibly good wine selection and super trained nice staff. Top!!

carlotta potenza: We had a good time in this very cosy wine shop with qualified staff. High quality products explained in great detail, canederli are super recommended! We will definitely come back to enjoy the Italian tradition in Berlin and feel closer to home!

ellee kim: Staffs were friendly, food was good, and wine set the mood right. No wonder why this place had 5 stars!! It took awhile to prepare but that käse platter was sooo good!!

Rodolfo de Campos Monteiro: Very nice bar with an intimate atmosphere, friendly staff and a great selection of wine. Highly recommend it!

AF: Spent a lovely late aftenoon Aperitivo here and experienced a little La Dolce Vita in Charlottenburg. Very friendly service and nice owners. Will definitely come back 👌🏼

Matt Werbin: Stopped in here for a Sunday afternoon wine and snack and was warmly welcomed in by the friendly owners. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable with sort of unique counter type seats in the front and a larger seating area in the back. Excellent selection of wines from the Südtirol area of Italy and quality food on offer as well. Prices are very reasonable. We will be back!

bea: Best aperitivo in Berlin

Andrea Sydow: Excellent wines from Alto Adigio, small but tasty gastronomy and charming owners in love with what they serve. My favorite spot in my neighbourhood when it is time to chat with friends over an exquisite wine.

Laura Asara: Nice service with friendly service and really good wine / aperitif selection. The bruschette, taglieri and appetizer are delicious. Highly recommended

Kitten Beast: This place is fantastic. I have enjoyed every single meal here and Mona & Werner are so hospitable and friendly. xx

Weing'schäft Bernhard und Hess: what do users think?

andreas hermansson: Perfect recommendations from the helpful team all the time. My favourite wine shop in Berlin.

Jamie McGinley: Hi, Irish guy, just moved to Berlin and I drink wine occasionally but not much. But I must say by pure coincidence I happened to try the wine from here and I must say it was great. The people working there were extremely nice and welcoming and the wine was fantastic. Really enjoyed the taste and it opened me up to the world of wine. I have some ordered off the online shop and Niclas and Peter were very accommodating. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Gaurav Narula: No matter what your budget is, they have the best wine for you. And, not just wine, they have the best Mexican Tequila and Gin collection I have ever seen. The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly so much so I wish they had a small bar so I could toast with them and hang out at the shop talking about wine and liquor. Thanks guys for being so welcoming and warm.

Nathan Felix McCabe: These guys are great. I am from Ireland and am hard to impress but the wholesome experience and beautiful wine I have drank from this shop is something I will remember!

Irén Seres: Super nice staff, and great wine! We just dropped into this place, hoping we can drink a glass of wine here. Drinking a glass was not possible, but we bought a nice bottle of French Savignon Blanc that we could drink in the place, they had it pre-cooled in the fridge and we got 2 glasses and water for it. The place is super cosy, the wine was great and cool, and the owner was super friendly and lovely.
