Kin Za Underground - Georgian Kitchen Streetfood Georgische Küche: what do users think?

Bruck M. Kimmerle: Very tasty Georgian (not the U.S. State) street food. Very big "Dürüm" style "Lukmas": Chicken, veggie, cheese. As well as Crepes. Georgian beer being served almost opposite to Alexa Mall, next to the railway bridge. Cozy, little backyard for private hang outs. And you can almost 24/7 rent bikes right here

M berlin: We were the only customers there but we had to wait so long. They only offer take away wood knife and fork which was difficult to cut. You have to pay 14€ for just cheese, egg and flour which you get bored after eating few bites. Definitely better to eat Italian Pizza. In the end we couldn’t even eat half. Also worker can’t speak German and his English isn’t enough to communicate with the customers.

Adam Valois: Portions were large, prices reasonable. The food however was merely good. I'd recommend it of you are in a hurry for a nice cheese fix but aren't expecting perfection.

Ritayan Rath: Food was Great. We ordered a Georgian beer and paid for it but got Bayerisches Tegernsee. Be careful what you order for. You might not get it.

Alexander Nikolov: Chicken kebab used to be huge and tasty 3 weeks ago, ordered the veggie one and it was 1/3 the size for a higher price. No sauces, just sliced veggies in a bland wrap.

Er Zach (1337): I am sorry but the staff didn't practice basic hygiene. They kept the same pair of gloves on while taking money, preparing food, going through all the coins to find change and the grab meat pieces and salad to make a durum. They also couldn't give any reciept for my purchase.

ccoodduu: Very good pancakes 😄🥞He was very nice even tho we didn't understand German :D

Jerry Iloveberlinbiketours: I had the privilege of trying out a chicken Kebap that was super good!!‘ Jerry

risachan: Super close to Alexanderplatz. Mirrors in the interior create a vibe like the place is way bigger! Really nice and friendly workers 💙💛

Morgan Richardson: So good! And I loved the atmosphere

Weihenstephaner Berlin: what do users think?

C S: Overpriced and bad food! Don’t come here for a meal! We had 5 different dishes and nothing was convincing. The potato salad was not edible. They said we would get sauerkraut, but we got meerretich. The chicken salad was abominable, I can’t believe they served it to me and made me pay for it. The chicken was not freshly prepared, it was cut hours ago and dried out. Very expensive. The staff was not very friendly nor helpful. The beer is good.

Kateryna Gundrova: Well, really great delicious beer, but their main recommended dish for the price 15,90 euro was not delicious. Pork steak was tasty, but potatoes had no taste at all. It’s so strange, how people can spoil just normal potatoes. My recommendation is to come here for a beer and for sausages or meet with fried potatoes. Don’t order this Biersteak (on my pictures). I’m a fan of all kind of potatoes, but this one didn’t taste at all, even with salt, pepper and sause. But the place is nice and touristic, one guy sings always here and plays guitar. So anyway 4 stars. Enjoy!

Praveen Mehrotra: This was second such outlet we visited within a week. They have ample seating space and some excellent variety of beer. Staff is very helpful. The basement seating gives that traditional rustic environment for beer garden and seating here is recommended.

Enmanuel Ortega: Delicious food, i really liked it and the person I was with liked it too. The service portion are a little bit expensive but the size is quite big (at least for us).

Nicholas Vazsonyi: Very busy and noisy restaurant. Outside seating available in the heart of Hackesche Market, next to the S-Bahn station. Weihenstephan is worth the trip just for the beer. The full selection of the Weihenstephan brewery is on offer. It is arguably the best beer made in Germany. I ordered the Schweinshaxe - pork knuckle - and it was quite possibly the best I have had. Super juicy with perfectly crispy skin. Take it as served and don’t substitute a baked potato like one of the reviewers did.

tryon qc: Good beer and food but slow service to start with. The hefeweizen took 15m to arrive and I had to get up and notify the bar. Pretzel also took a long time, server said “its in the oven!” but it arrived cold (Which I dont mind, just don’t say its in the oven) Hopefully it was an uncommon issue and not the establishment.

Yana Chehovska: The best place in the centre of Berlin! The great selection of tastiest beer, amazing food!!!! Definitely recommend!!!!!

Bevin Hook: Omg the pork knuckle is a massive portion but oh so delicious.Atmosphere was good and our waiter Sasha was very nice.Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Morten Skrubbeltrang: We had a quick beer outside this historic and very nice brewpub. The weather called for outdoor seating but we also saw the cellar which looked fantastic. The beer was perfect and service was friendly. Good opening hours compared to nearby places like Lemke.

Nuna Norway: - Waitress was not in a good mood.+ Good beer+ Good food

Aron Steg: At the street level this restaurant looked like any other. It was compelling enough for us to go in but not much more. Once we went downstairs it picked up a lot of character. The menu was great, the food was delicious, and the service friendly in English.

Chai GS: The ambience is great with almost full house at dinner time. We ordered the pork knuckle and pork steak. Portion was great and taste fantastic! The service is perfect too! Even though not super fluent in English but great energy and super friendly!

Pete Wilson: Super roast duck which was melt in the mouth and a nice selection of beers. The food rooms were nice and cozy coming from the cold outside. Great place for trying the local cuisine.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Vincy Li: The waitress cannot speak fluent English, so a bit hard to communicate. Also they made us feel unrespectful because they talked with other diners when serving us, and even did not set the tableware for us and give us welcome salad, and just saying ‘oh I forgot to welcome y’all and laughed with other diners.’ So unpleasant to me! But honestly the food is really nice, especially the knuckle with beer! The restaurant is full house so suggest to reserve a table.

Gourmet Gourmand: I was riding with Wonderful classic German cuisine. Boiled ham hock, Berlin style. Great food and atmosphere at very reasonable prices… good service, classic Great German food!

Alix van Brakel: Understaffed, but very friendly. Classic menu, great if you are a tourist and want to try traditional German food. Proper portions for the price. Not super suitable for vegetarians or small meals. Wines were pretty pricey.

Ubka Sengelieva: Great authentic atmosphere. Traditional German cuisine, very tasty, big portions. The staff is helpful and friendly. Definitely a must when in Berlin.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Lizzie S: Great place to enjoy German cuisine. Very soft and juicy pork knuckle and brawn with decent beer. Love the vibe here.

Emmanuel Trejo: Wonderful German style restaurant by the TV tower. I had the half duck and Berlin kindl beer and it was a superb combination. The staff was accommodating with our English.

Simon Mak: The food is really delicious. One of the best German food I have ever tried. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Berlin.

Zur letzten Instanz: what do users think?

Liam H Sheffield: First time visiting and the food and service were great. Generous portions but the quality of the traditional offerings was a step above other places we have visited in the past. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Tomás Fonseca: Hidden gem in Berlin. Went there for the Christmas menu and it was absolutely worth it. You need to reserve the table and you need to mention that you want the Christmas Goose menu. The cost is 54€ per person but it completely fine for the quality and quantity. The staff is also impeccable. Could not recommend moreFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Kin Kwan Choi: This is a historical restaurant with very welcoming service. If you want German meal at a lovely place with great atmosphere, this is the place. Bit pricey but it is a historical site so well worth it.

Uri Lira: In Berlin for a few days from the US (Chicago, IL) on a bday trip. I walked into Zur letzten Instanz looking for traditional German cuisine, and guess what. . . ? Service was exceptional! Dinner and dessert were exquisite!

Luis G Zermeño: All is great! Just if you are not German (aka too loud) you will get bad looks... beside that its an amazing real German placeFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Alexandra Toader: As always a really nice experience.Had dinner with friends and everyone loved the place. Really friendly service.

Chris White: A charming little restaurant. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was a delight. Unfortunately I could only visit the once as all the other food looked amazing as well. I had the pigs knuckle (as per the English menu) and it was crispy on the outside and soft and delicious in the inside. I wish I could visit regularly. Highly recommended if you can only pass through as well.

Mateusz Zamiatowski: The place is truly unique, however I do recommend pre ordering your food if you are going with a larger group of people. During our last team lunch we had to wait 1.5 hours, but to be fair there was 14 of us. The disappointing part was that people who finished eating before 3pm could order deserts but those who didn't couldn't... nonetheless the food was delicious, definitely overpriced, but delicious! Toilet facilities were very clean, which is a plus. The picture shows the knuckle of pork, which was tender inside and absolutely crispy outside! Well done. I can definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Berlin! It is Berlin's oldest running restaurant!

David E: Had an amazing meal for lunch, the ladies accommodated just the two of us as walk-ins (forgot to book). The meatballs were out of this world amazing!!! Beautifully cooked and made my heart melt. The kind of food that heals the soul, definitely worth a visit. (It's been 3 days later and I'm still thinking about this meal=)

Edith Schermer: Such an adorable and authentic place. We were looking for a low key German place and stumbled upon this beauty. Staff was super friendly and food amazing. As every German kitchen; got to be a meat lover. Will definitely come back soon.

David Zill: Great traditional German food. We had to eat outside across the street…so there was a limited menu available, but our party of 9 enjoyed everything we ordered. My wife and I had the Turkey Steak and the Pork Schnitzel. The homemade fries were amazing.

ullas arora: Original German style restaurant, almost 90 years old. Food is amazing specially the steaks, curry wurst and freshly made potato chips. Local beer from tap are highly recommended. Cozy and warm place if you have some relaxing time in the evening.

Katerina Agrest: Very cozy and typical.Good beer, huge portions.Under the trees and nice lights outside and amazing old-style interior inside

Fani Traikou: Very big portions of food, very tasty meals and rational prices. Try the snitschel and also the goulash soup. The place is like an old German tavern and the beers are cold. The people that work there are super nice and helpful! I will come back again!

GGE Nutrition: Traditional german restaurant. The dishes are big and tasty. The staff is really kind and will help you to understand the menu (there is no english option). The sausages are really good!

Eva Sanchez: German food. Loved the food!!! Big portions, really tasty, beautiful place, good service and affordable prices. I will be back! :)Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Response: Hey Eva, thank you for your kind words! We are already looking forward to your next visit!

inbar books: The atmosphere was great, sitting with other people is really nice as well at some tables, smiling and enjoying beer and food, definitely recommend and come back.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Turkey Steak, And Fried Potatoes, Roast Pork …More
Response: We appreciate your feedback and thank you very much for visiting us :)

Tim Hodapp: This is a wonderful restaurant - cozy, warm, inviting. The food was delicious, the beer selection is terrific, and pricing is in line with what I'd expect. We were vacationing and found this place, and would happily recommend to locals or travelers alike. One of our favorite places while visiting Berlin and we will remember it fondly.
Response: Thank you very much for visiting us, Tim! We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon

Katy B: Good beer, nice outdoor setting and atmosphere. We also saw a rat running around under the hedges at the periphery of the garden, which I guess is one of those things in an outdoor eating space, but not something I’ve seen before in a busy beer garden. The food was tasty, and there was a nice range of food and drink to choose from. Because of the number of wasps around and the number of people smoking we would have chosen to sit indoors but were told we had to sit in the garden even though there was a lot of space available and a few people in there already. A bit disappointing overall.

Minkyu Kang: Friendly staff and service despite my poor German.Above all, the taste of the food is excellent.
Response: Thank you for your review of the restaurant! We are glad to hear that you had a good experience and that the staff and service were friendly, even though you don't speak much German. It's also great to know that you thought the food tasted excellent. If you are the owner or manager of the restaurant, you might want to thank the customer for their positive review and for their compliment on the taste of the food. You could also mention any other features or aspects of the restaurant that you think are noteworthy, such as the atmosphere or the variety of dishes on the menu. Thanking the customer for their visit and for their feedback is a good way to show that you value their business and appreciate their thoughts on your establishment.

Republic Berlin: what do users think?

Helen King: Really cute oasis of a beer garden in Berlin. After walking around all day we stumbled in here just as it opened so there was plenty of seating available but by the time we had finished 1 beer it was quite busy. Staff were friendly :) but you should know that it's cash only.

Joey R: The food was okay (forgot to take a picture of the burger). A few issues: We weren’t asked how we want our burger cooked and noticed the one we had was cooked quite rare. The staff were generally friendly besides an older gentleman who asked some friends to leave since they didn’t order food (they were eating food from elsewhere but ordered some drinks from this place). I personally won’t come back here…

Vikram Sharma: Great place for a couple of drinks. Great buzz and energy. Has a small food menu which they keep changing every few weeks

Gilberto Silva: Good craft beer, the pale ale. Friendly staff, average price, good terrace and they even had music. Artsy place with the bus remodeled as bar.

Henry Spurgeon: Cool place ideal for a drink or two and some food. The craft beer was good and they have lots of spirits etc at reasonable prices. Food when we visited was mostly Italian style pizzas pastas and such. We didn't eat but what we saw on other tables looked good. Pleasant atmosphere with lots of people enjoying a summers evening with drinks 🍸 Prost!

Marcus Hall: Nice chilled vibe, decent beer and plenty of places to lounge. Shaded to avoid the sun also.

Boh Tjarks: Very cool, chilled Biergarten hidden away from the bustling main street. Great beer and good ambience. A very cool, large, DDR era bus in the back of the garden. Pro tip - enjoy Berliner Weisse there!

Ralph van Roosmalen: I really like this place. I try to visit every time when I am in Berlin (and the weather permits). Just having a beer outside, some (good) basic food enjoy the surrounding and have some nice talks. Be aware no card payment . If they would have this, it would be five stars.

Sid Delight: Really good neighborhood spot. Pot luck with the food they have, unfortunately wasn't great for our visit. Would definitely recommend and bring cash as don't accept cards.

Marina Gavryushkina: Fun and quirky beer garden with a very casual and laid-back atmosphere. Loved the beer ambulance, I wish more places had such creative and fun setups. Great for groups and for friends or couples. Great vibe, good beers.

POTS: what do users think?

Christopher C: Restaurant in ritz Carlton hotel .. Lovely modern interior ..with an open kitchen Incredible starter (char) Monkfish next ..good , on the boring side And lamb with artichokes to finish …very nicely done Fixed dinner menu German wines by the glass .. Charming waiter …super service Recommended …even for a date , because of lovely interior Summer terrasse ..but seems to be always closed , funnily

Mason S: Another one of my top restaurants throughout Europe, the staff here was great, wait staff was amazing, the Sommelier was knowledgeable, and the food was perfect i think this place may very well be on par with any single star Michelin restaurant i visited throughout Europe and quite surprised they didn't have one. I really recommend the König meatballs, simple but with complex flavors coming through, absolutely perfect.

Henning Niss: Really nice modern, German food. A little pretentious (part of the Ritz Carlton) but still relaxed enough. The staff was very welcoming and prices are reasonable.

Olena Myronyk: Very very good. My friends and I came for dinner. We took the 6-course menu. Even though I was not not a fan of some particular ingredients, I admit - this was very good. AND. The premium wine pairing! OH. MY. GOD. Every wine was so well balanced, so well developed, so tasty. The interior is so very fine. On Wednesday night, there was not so many people, but I blame it on the Christmas Markets Period. If you would like to spend the whole evening - 3-4 hours - in a cosy restaurant with fine food and wine, this is a place to go. Staff is so professional. Yes, it is expensive, but trust me, this is worth every cent 😋

M. Madsen: With praise and recommendations from German colleagues we went there for lunch in search for a birthday dinner venue for when my father turns 70 next June. We arrived at the amazing Ritz Carlton around noon, walked inside to the restaurant and was greeted by an above average angry and somewhat arrogant young lady at the front desk. I am adopted and with both my parents beeing caucasian, she seemed to have a hard time understanding we were all together. She said very loud and looked very suprised “Are you together??” Even we stood there all together presenting our reservation. Could have been pretty akward had someone else been there :-) A little after she finally understood we were a family, she laughed very arrogant and shaked her head when my wife asked if the terrace was open. (It was bad weather, but my wife was considering sitting outside to spare the other lunch guests from our baby girl). The reservation had been phoned in some days before and we specifically had asked not to be seated at a round table (since they are half-closed and we had a baby carriage with us). The angry lady took us directly to a round table. We ask politely to be moved, unfortunately not possible even there was only 5-6 tables occupied in the whole restautant. Apparently it’s the type of mangement that cramp guests together in sections and that day, unfortunately, the (nicer) end of the room close to the windows and terrace was all closed off. Up until now pretty horrible thanks to the angry lady and the cafeteria seating but the food was really great, especially if you take the price into consideration. Except the bread. Delicious, beautiful plated with great tastes, I had one of the best bisque of my life in that lunch. (Joel at Metropole, Caprice HK, Søllerød Kro). Moreover, the angry lady had left us and instead came waiter Angela (I think). Angela was so sweet and professional. She charmed a lot of the other tables as well and our daugther loved her from first seight also. It felt like she could have serviced all of the tables by herself. She turned around the whole experience.

Özgür ŞENER: I feel bad since I feel giving two stars only. Because the venue and the service is so good. Unfortunately I can’t say the same thing for the food and wine. We liked only the first course. Monkfish was very dry. Lamb smelled so bad I couldn’t eat it. The desert was nothing special. Tried two Chardonnay (1 bottle for 109euro and 59euro each) nothing special. For this price point unfortunately I wouldn’t go there again. Sorry guys!

Valentin Hermans: Nice venue with open kitchen. Interesting wine pairing. Food was nice, but certainly not outstanding. Sommelier and waiter were poorly trained. Got confused with the orders, spilled wine and water. You definitely find a better place in Berlin in this price range.

David Hamann: Staying at the hotel and stopped by the restaurant for breakfast. He an incredible experience. The staff was fantastic. The selection and quality on the buffet was excellent and was also able to order off of the meal.

East London Girl: If you are looking for a treat when visiting Berlin, look no further than POTS restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton hotel which is located in the centre of Berlin in Postdamer-Platz. POTS, with its Michelin star chef Dieter Muler, aims to reinvent German cuisine with dishes focused on sharing plates and experiences. Being a summer month, we chose to have dinner on the beautiful terrace at the back of the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant also looked amazing. We were greeted with a Pots Spritz, Reichstrat von buhl Reisling Brut with homemade douglas-fir syrup. This was a beautifully refreshing aperitif and unique with the fir flavouring. To start, we were recommended the Purple mustard egg, spinach, chive mash potato (12 €) and Matjes style whitefish, green apple, cucumber (12 €). Both starters were flavoursome and we were told modern takes on German classics! For mains, we had the “Burnt cabbage“, parsley, Miso from Berlin (19 €) and Meatballs, Bavarian, Riesling sauce (20 €). Like me, you may have been sceptical about having a whole cabbage for your main course but boy was I wrong. The textures and flavours were incredible and left you wanting more. As to the meatballs, the reisling sauce really helped make the dish a lot lighter than traditional meatball dishes. With the main courses, we were recommended Wittman weisser burgunder 2017 white wine, which paired beautifully with the cabbage and meatballs. For dessert, we could not resist sharing our favourite, Spiced crème brûlée, woodruff ice cream (9 €). Crispy on top and creamy and smooth underneath – perfection! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at POTS and were spoilt by very high end, modern German cuisine. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are looking for somewhere special whilst in town! We did not have time but the Curtain Club bar in the hotel also comes highly recommended and looked like a fantastic location for a pre or post dinner drink.

Chris Crowley: The flakiest flamkuchen I have ever had. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted a small dinner. The bread and butter and flamkuchen was ample. They also offer the cocktail menu from the curtain club. I sat on the lovely patio and enjoyed the evening as the sun set. Service was friendly and professional, as one expects from the Ritz Carlton. I'll definitely return during my stay to try some of the other dishes.

Clärchens Ballroom: what do users think?

Elisabeth Nefeli Motoshige: I really liked my experience there and the food was delicious. Definitely on a food coma afterwards! The only thing I wish was different is being able to get a reservation easier; while I was there the restaurant was pretty full but they still had some tables free even though it showed complete booked on the reservations platform and people were turned away…

Iara Fulco: Really recommend this restaurant! Nice place in a good neighborhood. There are a lot of tables outside and inside so make it easy to get one.

Rūta Keviešena: Highly recommend this place! The atmosphere, the place, food - everything was great! Food was delicious! Spent nice afternoon in there.

Tilman Benecke: it is an old venerable restaurant which defines its charm by being a bit run down. Hard to complain, prices are expensive but reasonable for this area. Beer prices for half a liter are still less than €5, which is rare these days. The Berlin Sausage Salad took a little getting used to because of the slightly delicate tasting cheese, but it was still easy to chew and digest. the staff was on point and friendly.

Karim Dernaika: The garden is lovely and this restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the food is ok, I only tried the Berliner wurst and had a few drinks. If the weather is nice, it’s worth a visit and make sure to sit in the garden

Niklas Burghardt: Wonderful location! The kitchen is delicious and if you want to learn how to dance you can also book a course. Highly recommended location! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian alternatives. You can also ask for vegetarian options to the meat courses.

Luigi Puno (Luigi): Quite a nice outdoor seating area, with nice evening ambiance too. The beer is cold, the meatballs were juicy! (I find that they tend to be pretty dry when you order them in other places!) I can also recommend the Truffle flammkuchen, that was pretty unique! You can pay with card 👌

L Wang: Beautiful restaurant with great German food and friendly staff. Strongly recommend!

Kathryn Callow: There was a few issues with a booking I made. My sister in the UK had made a €50 gift certificate for my Canadian relative visiting me in Berlin so she could try schnitzel. They didn't have the booking in the book. I had to show the email. The hostess really did her best but of course it meant we had a bad aisle table by the door with lots of disturbance. Not ideal for a special occasion. The server had low training. She couldn't answer questions on the menu. Be warned the vegan schnitzel was sold out by our sitting at 20.00. She didn't know how to handle the gift certificate. She asked in a strange way for the table back at closing, I did 7 years in service 'can I bring you the cheque ladies?' is adequate compared to 'we close. You must leave. So go' at precisely 22.00. Strange phrasing... Top marks for an alcohol free champagne, to my knowledge the only one in Berlin where a drinker can prost together with a dry version. A lovely male runner took our picture at the disco ball. I've been for other people's celebrations before it was a little sad to spend €50 on Flammkuchen we'd gone for the schnitzel and mentioned that on the booking. Please please please prep more schnitzel for schnitzeltag 20.00 isn't so late. If you know 20.00 is too late and the booking comes for schnitzel perhaps you could recommend the guest an earlier time slot? Total €76

Cristian Preuss: Nice place. Service could be faster. Food is good and good value.

Prince Restaurant: what do users think?

Pedro Lopes: WOW! This is a restaurant that will stay in my memory... With a modern decoration, this restaurant located in the heart of Berlin, offers an excellent meal, very well prepared, a peaceful environment to enjoy the meal and an excellent staff, always at the customer's disposal. I strongly advise you to try Duck & Ducker…I've eaten a lot of duck in my life, but like this one, I can say no! The Restaurant, in addition to its tasty food, offers an extensive menu of spiritual drinks, to be enjoyed before, during and after the meal! This is the ideal restaurant to take your partner out for dinner! In the end, and taking into account what I ordered, I thought the price was very nice! Before you open your mouth, let your eyes eat 😜

Oana Andrei: Good food, nice location. A bit overpriced. The oddest thing is that they advertise the price for wine for 0,1 while they serve 0,2 which ends up being very misleading. Our waiter was decent enough to adjust the price on our bill as she understood the confusing element. However, the staff looked really unhappy and were giving the feeling that they really don’t want to be there.

Grace: The ambiance was really cozy it a bit feels like you’re in the fine dining restaurant.Food was unexpectedly big serving. I could say fit for 2 persons. Pice is normal.

Md Anisul Hoque Khan: It was our Team outing. we were around 15 persons . The restaurant is well decorated. There are enough sitting place for everyone . We hade family styled shared menu. The food was really good and really tasty.

Joe: Very comfy! It's like sofas for seats. The ribs starters were so tasty! A lovely kick and blend of flavours. The duck was also very delicious and the Thai green curry with prawns was very tasty (on the milder side of thai green curry). The draft beer is also very tasty! 10/10.

Betty Davis: Food & drinks top, Services the best, Cosy. The Musik was nice but i found it a bit too loud, you had to talk loud for someone to hear you, it would be nice to turn it a little down just my opinion. Other than that i enjoyed and recommend

Natalie Portier: Yummmmmmmmmm. I got coconut broth soup, dumpling appetizer and Soft Ice cocktail. Everything was delicious! Worth a visit!

Kyra Hietbrink: Overall enjoyed the food, a solid range of vegetarian options with distinct flavours. We ordered the tofu in tamarind sauce and gado gado. Both packed flavourful, in the gado gado the veggies were poached so there was a bit too much water left in the bowl. Spot on drinks and certainly a bang for your back as you are in one of the bustling parts of the city. Genuinely recommend coming here

Jon Fitch: Had espresso Martini (14€) and It's A Girl Thing (12€).The vibe is nice and chill and the cocktails are super tasty with a very professional bartender.

Piotr Zawieja: Delicious food, nice design and an outstanding service - that's the place to be with your friends on Friday's evening 👍Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Tausend: what do users think?

Denisse Rayas: Had a great night yesterday, always so much fun at Tausend. Best music, atmosphere and cool people. Shout out to Finn! Best barman ever. Thank for the good energy Finn. We’ll be back soon.

Claudia Hoyos: Nice night club, very good music and atmosphere. We had a really fun night. Also Finn, the barman was so good!! Definitely We will go back soon!!!

Victor Novikov: Welcome back to 2000sCocktails were decent, but the crowd was... Eclectic.

Alice: Amazing place but the tall brunette bar tender definitely ruined the night a bit, hope she only had a bad day for giving such a bad service.8€ shots 16€ cocktails 10€ entry fee (not always though)

matheus benamor: Nice place, people inside are very polite and the drinks are nice, but the guy at the door was very stupid in our visit last time, he denied one of our friends to enter because of his dress code 👎🏻 just lost me and our friends, we will not return!

Bożena J: Actually I don't know what should be special at this place... No place to dance, one drink costs 16 € and there is almost no internet connection.

Youju (youju_j): * A review about the bar side * * Willingness to return visit: 120% * Suitable place for everything business, party, date, alone :) * Smoking is allowed inside. * Storage for the Jackets and bags.( 1.5or 2 euro) * I'm Including the sound videos of 12am’s 'before and after' in this review. Because around 12 o'clock, the atmosphere before and after is quite different :D ! but don’t worry, The atmosphere won't change suddenly. Competent DJs are making increasingly mood with well selected music . it will definitely make you wanna dance around 1:00. The friendly bartenders also make cocktails that are not on the menu, satisfying your taste. Well, If there's one thing that's missing, the cocktail glass is a bit.. ugly? not pretty?. . Haha um The cocktail glass can’t keep up with the cocktail tasty& mood🙈

Ryan Messner: Trendy hidden bar and restaurant near Friedrichstraße station. More than just bartenders slinging pints — they are artists, hosts, entertainers! Earlier in the evening the bar is generally empty and everyone keeps to themselves. As the night carries on, the place starts filling up with a trendier crowd, and turns more into a club. Hit the bar for some pre-dinner cocktails, enjoy dinner at the Backroom Cantina, and then stay for the DJ or Band. They do allow smoking inside and have coat check available. Cant find the entrance — YG?

Rik de Koning: I got in, which - as I understand - can sometimes be troublesome for foreigners. The place has a great ambiance, almost a bit posh. Don't expect a simple night out in a bar kind of feeling. Music was good and was building up slowly as the night progressed. Cocktails were a bit expensive and took a long time for the waiters to make. In the end we even waited for half an hour and still didn't got our drinks, even when we've asked for them a second time.

Christakis Psyllides: Nice place for a drink and a very cool entrance. Hard to find if you don't know where it is but that's part of the cool vibe. If you in there then you know about this place. It's expensive but the drinks menu offers some unusual and unique options worth getting through. Get there before 11pm to ensure you get a table and enjoy. Nice music too and not too loud so you can talk, which is good...

Crackers: what do users think?

Mark Kennedy: Excellent meal at Crackers! One of the best steaks. Great salad and drinks. Awesome fries, and delicious cheesecake. Service was good also. Being from the U.S., I’m very picky on meat quality and prep in Europe and when I travel. Great music and atmosphere as well. This restaurant definitely meets my high standards. Highly recommend.

Tamta: We had a company dinner at the private room upstairs. Crackers has a cool open kitchen and stylish design. Waiters were attentive and we felt well-taken care of. Food tasted delicious - starters to dessert. Definitely recommend to visit

Disht Advani: The amusing entrance to the restaurant is coupled with a serene atmosphere, tasty cocktails and good food. After almost walking past the somewhat hidden entrance, we walked in to find a totally delightful place. But the staff can definitely be more attentive. It took us 25 minutes before we ended up ordering but after that everything was very nice. All in all cool 😎

Lisa Beuter (Lola-Berlin): This place has a really cool entrance. It is a unremarkable black door with the word Crackers on it, if you don’t search for it, you will miss it. After that, you go trough a hallway with blank beton walls, before entering trough the blue tiled Kitchen. The service is great, the food is good, especially the brioche! But the ambiance is the best part. It feels like a secret, like you slipped in time and space and now you’re in spy movie and have a secret dinner meeting. This place is great if you want something special or if you have secret affair or probably if you’re secret agent for real.

Olivier VanderLuppen: Nice restaurant. We’ve been an evening where it was a bit crowded. Service was quiet slow, we were a big table, 16 persons, but getting the dishes simultaneously was a challenge for the kitchen.

Tyler Colburn: The entrance is very interesting (hard to find at first, because it’s inconspicuous). Feels like you’re about to enter some underground club - very Berlin. The vibe of the restaurant is cool and comfortable, and the music was good. The cocktails were decent (we had dirty martinis, Negronis, and espresso martinis to end the meal). Food was just ok. Nothing we had was bad, and the presentation was great, aside from the chicken dish (which looked like an open face fried chicken sandwich with chopped lettuce on top), but nothing was outstanding or memorable enough to want to come back. We spent 300€ for two people for dinner, so it wasn’t cheap. Have had better meals for that price, so probably wouldn’t return, but overall an ok meal if you’re looking for something decent in that area.

Santa Clause: It is a nice place with good decoration and atmosphere. However, the food is not worthy at all. The cream for the bread is not good one. Ox cheek, pretty salty source. Dessert are just so so. I also saw someone’s comment that it is not enough if you just order the main dish. But I felt so full for the ox cheek, I think that is because it was too salty so I didn’t have appetite to eat more. In conclusion, it is not worthy to spend 50 Euros per person with this kind of food.

Josue Villamar: Nice fine dinning restaurant. Interesting deceiving entry. Nice staff food is great. I’ll recommend to check the menu first to be sure to know what they have as things seems to be seasonal.

Klaudia L: The entrance is subtle, creating excitement from first step. As you walk through the maze of corridors a unique and impressive space awaits. Dark, moodie and grand at the same time. The service friendly, attentive but could be more knowledgeable. The food is unfortunately the problem. Seasoning and flavour missing on every plate. The tiger milk Hamachi missing the promised chilly, which would give the dish some depth. Tatar blend but nicely plated. Brioche served cold and a bit stale. The steak a highlight cooked to perfection. The Cracker chips, forgettable. The ox cheek very tender, missing salt at cooking stage. The choice of mixing the red cabbage which would have perfectly cut through the richness of the cheek was mixed with mash, making for an interesting mush that did nothing to the plate. It really was show over substances.

kangaroogirl88: I mean, it’s not the place where you go and pretend that you’re going to spend little money, it’s expensive, but you’ll get delicious food. The meat was all sourced locally and was cooked beautifully - like everything. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy too much was the chocolate dessert with chocolate ice cream. The chocolate ice cream had ice cristals in it. And from all the things I ate, it was the only one that I’d give 3 out of 5 stars. Everything else is 5 stars out of 5 😉 Reservation is a must.

Cookies Cream: what do users think?

Jeroen Sipsma: Great place. Went there the third time and I was never disappointed. Creative cuisine where vegetarian is the standard. Great tastes and combinations. Wine is a thing they understand and bring to life with their dishes. A great non alcoholic variant is offered which is home made and pairs with the dishes. Service is natural and honest. Nothing is a problem which can't be fixed. When you enter you feel like entering another world. Should go for a special night out. Vegetarian options: All vegetarian with easy access to full vegan menu.

Wesley Wong: Cool atmosphere, great service and that's it. Maybe it's an off day, but I'm wondering how they got a Michelin star. We got the course meal without wine pairing. The dishes were either ok or a miss, nothing to rave about. And for that price, water really should be included, instead they charge 7.50 euros for a bottle of water. Overall it was a very disappointing experience, I do not recommend.

Lars Arnvig: We had a great night at Cookies Cream when we visited Berlin in December 2022. We "settled" for five dishes incl. the wine menu and everything was perfect: the food, the wine, the staff and the setting. It was a really good tasting experience. And worth every euro. We left full and happy and hope to have the opportunity to come again another time.

Leonard Wossnig: Fantastic food, of course only vegan, exceptional service, and kitchen staff who (like everyone else there) enjoys their work! Highly recommend the 7 course menu, it’s well balanced and both pairings are a great fit (wine and non-alcoholic are available)

Valentin Liebhart: Summary: nice vegetarian restaurant with cool design. Dishes in different quality but esp. the signature dishes a bit disappointing (Parmesan dumplings)

Diego Chacón: Amazing experience, I went with my wife for our anniversary and we had delicious food, absolutely recommended. I don't give 5 starts just because the person who was in the entrance was not kind. When you go to this kind of places the whole experience should be special, and that wasn't

Medina Selimovic: Exclusive feel, High end, but with a modern flare. Atmosphere is great, but the experience and food was wonderful!Recommended dishes Parmesan Dumplings with 3g Perigord Truffle, BBQ Carrot with Cashew Cheese Buttermilk Oxalis Pumpkin …More

Shanna Hermann: Still our favorite fine dining restaurant in Berlin! The food, the wines and the people make this place simply fantastic. It's so authentic and playful - we love it!

David Hacker: I don’t like writing bad reviews and generally i believe in “If you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all”. Well, so let’s start positive. The experience leading up to the dinner is fun and exciting. The concept is something i like as well: this industry needs to innovate and try new things. The restaurant space itself was quiet disappointing to me. The rugged and industrial “designed” restaurant felt more like an afterthought to a warehouse. Very berlin i guess. It is also quiet cramped with very limited space in between tables. It was packed with customers and very loud imo. It was also quiet warm in there. These are all things that made me feel especially uncomfortable considering we are in the midst of an pandemic. They did only let people in that got tested, but i still think it was not necessary to fill the space like this. Even without corona this would have been an issue. The food was overall disappointing to me. The dishes overall lacked flavor and expression. I felt at times basic seasoning was missing. The presentation seemed excessive compared to the overall result. Besides the beet root dish i did not like much. The wine pairing was only good. Service seemed stressed and rushed with the dishes. For me a no-go! After mentioning it they slowed it down. Food was introduced and that’s it. I missed a feeling of passion and proudness for their trade in their overall attitude. Overall very disappoint considering the price and prestige coming with a star. The quality was just not there. This is purely my opinion and based on many visits in all sorts of fine dining venues around the world as well on my education in this industry. Casual fine dining is a niche that can be done a lot better.

Valentina Paetsch: A great experience; friendly and attentive staff, quick service, tasty and unique dishes...we got the 7 course menu with wine accompaniment, we got one vegan and one vegetarian version and both were exquisite. Would highly recommend for a special occasion!

Secret Garden | Vegan Sushi: what do users think?

Amina ELMO: Wow what a beautiful discovery! One of the best and only all vegan sushi we have been to. Everything was delicious. Nice team. Only cash or EC card payment not that great for international travellers. For directions it is above the vegan store.

Annie Xiong: All vegan sushi place. The sushi was VERY fresh. We only had white rice sushi and they were all perfect. The rice was cooked just right and the fake fish was so real in texture and taste. The service was really fast too!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Francesca Zaino: Fantastic vegan sushi! It was a complete paradise due to the great variety of rolls they have. We took pre-established dish with a bit of everything, 36 euros for two people. It was amazing, surely convenient from an economic point of view, yet I'd loved to have some more hahh I hope I have the chance to come there before leaving Berlin!

Johnson Jackson: The best vegan sushi I ever had. Great service, friendly and fast. Very delicious starters, sushi, dessert and cocktails. This place is absolutely worth the money and a must go!

Sara Miller: Pretty good even though I only sampled a small part of the menu.I think it’s difficult to make satisfactory sushi vegan in my opinion but there were some very nice flavors present. Not a big fan of the black rice though: it seems too “heavy” and sticky for my taste.

Zaidoun Haddad: I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to this restaurant. The food was fantastic - we ordered the Yorokobi Don, Sinneswandel, and some delicious shrimp sushi (whose name I unfortunately forget). All of the dishes had deep, rich flavors and were prepared beautifully. The restaurant itself is also very nicely decorated, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's worth noting that the restaurant is located on the second floor of the Veganz store... Second visit update... I've been back a second time, and I have to say, it was an even better experience. We had the sushi this time, specifically the Happiness for two, which was perfect. The Tempura Tiger and Golden Foo Dog rolls were highlights. We also ordered the Inside Out: Geisha In Love and Raijins Thunder Taste rolls, and the Geisha In Love was one of our favorites. We again ordered the Sinneswandel, which was delicious as always. We also tried the Prächtiger Feuervogel noodles and they were great as well. Vegetarian options: It is a vegetarian only place

Jonathan Chua: Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had. Staff was extremely friendly and fast, food wait was not that long, and food itself was delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone craving vegan Asian food. The atmosphere, cost for food, and everything was really well balanced. They only accept cash or EC. No Visa, AmEx, etc.

Nur Salloum: Vegan sushi in Berlin 🇩🇪 I came there with high expectations but left disappointed. I didn’t like most of the sushi, only the ones in the bottom; that’s the only reason I’m putting 2 stars. The place looked good but I didn’t find it clean. The service was awful. Not a good experience.

Nona Monica Bargel: This is one of the best sushis I've ever had! Me and my partner came to Berlin really hungry and were going to Veganz to do some shopping. On our way we saw Secret Garden and had to stop for lunch, and we were not disappointed! In addition to being appetizing to the eyes the food was so full of flavors, and we got so full. Would recommend to anyone who likes sushi!

Nils Schanku: The sushi here is amazing. I don't really like normal sushi because I don't like fish but this vegan sushi here is really awesome. We had the Golden Koi, Envious Hannya, Hebi bites, Geisha in love and the Avocado Nigiri. All of them where pretty tasty but me and my Girlfriend both liked the Golden Koi the most, it was really great! The staff girl wasn't the nicest and she kinda forgot our drinks and only brought them when we where halfway finished but I don't think this happens on a regular basis so it's alright I guess. Atmosphere in itselt was quite nice I must say, this was really 10/10 Sushi. Vegetarian options: all of it is vegan

Hackethal's: what do users think?

Anastasia Tziasta: This is the best place to eat in Berlin! Traditional German food well cooked, friendly and fast service plus a very unique environment! Father and son (owners of the place) have made our experience there even better! Highly recommended!!

Stefan Johnson: Pleasant neighborhood place and no tourists (besides my table), with authentic German food. Fair price and waiter spoke good English, while being timely and attentive, very pleasant service. I had a very perfect tender pork knuckle (cured in-house), with mashed potato and sauerkraut, and a 0.5L of their own unique lager. Others at my table enjoyed the pork medallion and rouladen as well. One of us had ice cream with berry sauce and was nice, another had strudel which was good but said it was slightly bland. I finished with a czech raspberry brandy. Will need to go back here if I'm back in Berlin!

Im Garbino: The best service, amazing food, great environment I cannot recommend this place enough if you go to Berlin it’s a must stop. Made us feel very welcome and really showed the hospitality and heart of Berlin!!!!

Mattia Bosetti: We ordered a pork knuckle and spatzle with mushrooms, both were really good, in particular the spatzle.great beer and also nice and kind staff.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Robert Murray: Wonderful meal in a cool and relaxed setting. The father and son in duo were lovely and the son took the time to sit down and run me through the menu of traditional German food. I opted for the veal's liver which was delicious. Followed up by apple strudel. Definitely worth going out of your way for this one.

Milana Nurgalieva: Totally recommend this place!!! The beer is amazing, the dishes are suuuuper tasty. This meat was so tender that I don't even need to use knife. If you are interested it was deer. And the place itself small and cozy. It's very felt like it's German place By the way a bit costy, but I assure you, you will not regret

Jason Balram: In short: without a doubt, visit this place. Found this place through a short google search and after reading some of the rave reviews, I had to check it out. I was not disappointed one bit. Before I speak about the incredible food, I want to acknowledge the service. Really awesome ambiance as well - away from the busy streets and I’m a space that allows you to connect. The food was so rich and full of flavor. I’m already recommending it to my friends even before finishing the meal!

Bojana Sakic: We ate here on two of our five nights in Berlin because we enjoyed it so much! Very hearty portions of delicious, traditional German cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service. The prices are also super reasonable for the quality of the food. I'm not a beer drinker but the wine on offer was lovely and my partner definitely enjoyed the beer selection. Can't wait to head back when we're in Berlin again!

Márk: Absolutely the best dishes I’ve tried in Berlin. The service was also really kind. You MUST try it in Berlin.

Tathiana Chermont: We are in Berlin for three days and we wanted to try some typical German food. We looked for information and saw that they had good recommendations about Hackethal's. We sent an email to book and soon received confirmation ( reservation is necessary as the place is very small ). Anyway, super cozy place, Mr. Frank and his son are very attentive and friendly, and wonderful food. We had venison and duck leg with wine sauce. Both delicious. Heard about the liver dish and I'm already curious to go back. Apfelstrudel delicious also!! I highly recommend it.

Hofbräu Wirtshaus Berlin: what do users think?

Eugene Ee: Why I love this restaurant: 1. Able to walk-in without making any reservation especially on a Sunday. (Huge space inside) 2. Waiter was very friendly, understands English and recommended us to dine inside because it was cooler. 3. Love the ambience, there are mini stage performances with people cheering on for the added dining experience (only if you choose to dine inside.) 4. The Tender fried pork knuckle and neck pieces was amazing! Crispy and delicious! The Original Wiener Schnitzel was great too but I would go for the pork knuckles again anytime. Will definitely come back again in the future. Cheers

Linh Phan: This restaurant offers the typical German food and beer. It is located in the center of Berlin and easy to get to. There are live music which is also great as well. Have to try: pork knuckle, sausage and all kinds of beer. We had a good time there. The waiter is very friendly as well.

TimeTo Explore: That’s a place from my old experience when is my friend bring for me a beer glass from this bar. So time for me to enjoy in this place. Everything we amazing and very tasty, fresh beer and nice food and very friendly and smile staff. This place with a life music and guest who always singing the songs from Germany. So I think in weekend here very atmosphere

Nana: So much fun here! I could feel german vibe from their music, food and people. We got 0.5L beer , red wine, backed potatoes and schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Foods are hot and delicious! They are quite big portions but it was so good. Schnitzel was a little salty and crispy but when you squeeze the lemon and deep with mushroom sauce it’s so good! It’s served with lemony potatoes. Mushroom sauce like mushroom soup taste although it’s sauce texture. My brother got backed potatoes. He said it’s pure potatoes but with their butter it makes tasty. It comes with salad. Server was very energetic and fun!

Weiwei Tan: We were trying to look for German food in Berlin and was recommended this place by a friend. So glad we came here for dinner that we went again the next day! Had the chance to dine outside in the beer garden on the first night and it was awesome (except for smokers around if you're a non-smoker). The beer garden was closed the 2nd night we went and it got quite noisy inside. Food is great anyway!

Jogenesis Bohn: Great place to have some beers. Very fun environment and a great location. If it’s a sunny day, they have outside seating. The indoor seating is plenty as well. Simply great beer and a fun time! The pretzels are pretty good too.

Charlotte T: The interior and exterior of the restaurant is very nice. I loved the typical German design. The food was excellent and I wish I could have tried the "Knuckle". It looked so good. My Schnitzel was crispy and tender the German potato salad was also very good. My daughter took the vegetarian Spätzle with cheese and it was delicious. She also ordered the Curry Wurst and boy was that sausage huge! That too was excellent. The dessert was ok. I guess since it was written pancakes I wasn't expecting "nuggets" or "donut holes". It wasn't bad...just not what I thought. The only deception was our waitress, compared to the other wait staff, she was nice but slow. The other wait staff were very good, excellent service while ours forgot about us. Hofbräu Berlin is really a must do and make sure you're really hungry! They are not stingy so be prepared.

Érica Chinellato: A very spacious restaurant with delicious food and great beer. The service was impeccable, the waiter (Abil/Amil not sure how to spell it) was super friendly and also gave some good tips about the menu. The decoration is lovely, and they have live music. It’s a German experience you cannot miss.

Matheus Nascimento: Best Christmas lunch of my life. I will forever cherish the time I came here, truly amazing food and staff. Food came surprisingly fast, beers were amazing, overall, 10/10!Recommended dishes Crispy Pork Knuckle …More

Kurtis J. Samchee: Wow what can I say, the hype is worth it. There’s a reason there’s so many reviews here! It’s truly something else. We def don’t have anything like this in Canada that’s for sure. Great beer by the litre, food, live music. GGs.Recommended dishes Goulash Soup …More
