DA F.U.N.K. Hip Hop Street Dance Courses in Berlin: what do users think?

Nicole Strauch: Best dance school! Lessons are always fun and you make friends quickly 😊 The choreos are also awesome and really make you want to :))

meliiinish: The fact that the course takes place at Holmesplace is great! Very easy to reach, great premises! The trainer is young, but she's got it all and you learn a lot about music in addition to dancing! An hour always goes by way too fast :( Every Thursday evening I look forward to the next Thursday :D

2malaika1: We recommend. The location is easy to reach by all means of transport and even on foot. Great rooms in the Holmes Palace. Afterwards you can, if you want to take a shower right there. A big compliment goes to the dance coach. Although she is younger than most participants, she knows exactly what she is doing. She has a lot of patience and shows each step so that he sits in the end. All in all, but in a pleasant way, so you feel really comfortable. I enjoy every time I can go in the evening. Everybody is integrated by the trainer so that everybody gets together with everybody in a dance part. The music selection is very good. Come along and see it for yourself at a trial lesson. :)

Hafize Özsari: I've taken a few dance classes and never had so much fun! I learned great choreography in a dynamic group and with the coolest music. Absolutely not a mainstream course, because everyone is treated and trained individually here. The trainer can motivate everyone and integrate them into the group! I'm totally happy!

sabine forcioli conti: Courses great :) ! But communication with the school under all dignity!!!

Wir du: Not found Sow hard to find

Lucia: The trainer is really great.

Flying Steps Academy: what do users think?

Fizah Nahwi: Huge and spacious studios, dedicated and talented coaches, variety of classes. The main reason they don’t get a full 5 star review from me is because of their deteriorating customer service (which used to be quite efficient before summer 2022) Just hope and pray that you don’t encounter any glitches because if you do, then be prepared for endless back and forth emails, unanswered calls to customer service agents and the app that seems to be having a lot of issues lately preventing you from booking its classes. And unauthorized deduction from your bank account.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to give us a review! 😊

Narkissa: Beginner classes are not for beginners. I have a background in competitive ballet, and dance regularly, and neither me nor my friends (some of which were attending a dance class for the 1st time) could follow the fast choreo (commercial dance). The teacher didn't bother explaining the moves in depth, or slowing down the song even when seeing that we were struggling. But the worst part was the woman at the counter, horrible customer service. 15 euros wasted - avoid this studio if you are a beginner!

Uroš Skulj (Urkius): A professional dance school with great vibe 🔥🔥
Response: Thanks a lot for your review. We are glad you had a great experience ;)

Pui Man Hsieh: It's a professional dance school but not great for beginners. The class I joined was going too fast and the instructor wasn't giving much feedback. The receptionist was quite rude and impatient about USC questions. Good to know but not once more.
Response: Thanks a lot for your review.

Elena Jirkov: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ve went to the flying steps academy for over a year now and Iove it! The atmosphere there is really chill, the instructors are easygoing and motivated and I’ve really enjoyed taking k-Pop classes with Melis.
Response: Thanks a lot for your review. We are glad you had a great experience.

Zachy Mast: Went last week there. I had booked a place for Hip Hop dance with Urban Sports Club. When I arrived, they let me know that I cannot attend because the class was full! For some of you who may know, I had a "booking" for this class, it wasn't "scheduled", thus I was supposed to be dancing! So, I've been "kicked out" politely and guess what, I have a "no-show" now! When you have a "no-show" in USC you are supposed to pay a 13 euros penalty (it was my first ever so, I wasn't been charged anyway). I still try to resolve this situation with USC because apparently it wasn't my fault... I give 2 stars and not just 1 because at least the girl at the front desk was polite and later when I sent an email to let them know what has happened with USC, they replied fast

Team Fit365 - Coached by Danny Alvarado: Awesome school, teachers are very friendly and all classes are always full of good energy
Response: Thanks for the great feedback

Turgut Kalkan: Top
Response: Thank you Turgut, thank you very much.

Basel Chaabi: Top
Response: Thank you Basle

S L: Dancing at Flying Steps is a lot of fun. I like it very much. Unfortunately, I'm afraid to come more often because the ventilation isn't good. The studios are extremely full and I find lessons after lessons without ventilation totally dangerous for all participants. There should be at least a small break where the door is left open.
Response: Hello, thank you for your feedback!

Leoni Gruetzmacher: Great place for creative work processes - warm atmosphere and lots of space for movement!

Jessica Brandao: I did the Lady HipHop Beginner Class with Kimberly and I have to say she is just the sweetest girl! I really liked the way she structured the class. Hopefully the school will remain open in these uncertain times.

Manikanta Garikipati: Great trainers, you will not miss fun and learning!

Olga Dryn: I went here for a Zumba class and it was great! Teacher was super engaged and energized! we had so much fun ;)

Tatiana S: I was surprised how friendly and cheering the front desk person was, it happens rarely esp. in Berlin. Warmest welcome and the class is great. I love how the rooms are that one can really see yourself in the mirror (only in one other studio in Berlin I ever been it was the same), there is even AC (super rare practice in here as well). The teacher was great too! Definitely coming back.

Amanda M: The class was amazing but the front desk staff was not friendly.

Marién Quattrocento: I went there some months ago for a pole class and I didn't come back again. We were around 25 people in the room and just one teacher with three poles available. We couldn't even fit for the warm up. The levels were so mixed and the teacher couldn't check on the students. It is not safe being 25 students and just one teacher, you can really hurt yourself in pole. Also the studio is in several floors of a building and dressing rooms are on one floor and the pole studio on another, so you had to go with your very light pole clothes all the way up till the room. Never again.

Darya Sudas: I love this school. The staff was always helpful, the coaches are fun and creative.

Valentine: Don't fall into this overpriced trap of a "Fitness Studio". Schedule is completely unreliable : in three months and with an allowance of one class a week (for the same price, you can have unlimited classes in most gyms, by the way), I've been walking back home 7 times because of classes being cancelled. This is unacceptable, given that this is the ONLY service I am paying for. And this is only for classes that were not announced as cancelled on Facebook (which would be the MINIMUM in these circumstances). It seems like the main focus is dance classes, and that fitness classes are merely an extra that can be skipped and dismissed any time without a care. For instance, they were completely cancelled an entire week-end because of a gala, with no warning whatsoever. You can also feel it in the care given to the infrastructure to support these classes: gear is missing (there are most of the time not enough weights for everyone, same goes for yoga blocks, mats are permanently dirty), sometimes teachers have to look for a free room, or to teach a calm yoga class next to a super loud Zumba class (and it's not like space or rooms are missing, it would just take a better organization). Teachers are nice, at least, it's a pity to waste their energy and talent with such poor organization and total lack of customer respect. If you're a pure dancer and you care about overpriced "star" marketed classes, maybe you'll be starstruck happy with it. If not, really avoid the place. To the school: If you care about keeping *all* your customers (not just the dancers), please focus less on brand marketing and posts about how awesome your stars (that I've never seen in the studio in 3 months, by the way) are, and provide at least basic communication and updated schedules on all platforms (it's ridiculous, your studio schedules and PDF schedules have been outdated for 3 months!!! Do something.) - A very disappointed customer.

Alex Siberian: awesome dance school for beginners and advanced

martin castagna: mega😎

CENTER OF DANCE: what do users think?

Ivy Clayton: The teachers are professional, but in my opinion the overall vibe is pretty hostile for adult recreational dace classes. I get it if you train professionally, but even the beginner classes were extremely tense, and given that there are so many studios in berlin that are a lot nicer, making it more fun to dance, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Irina Kuznetsova: Perfect place to dance and test your strength! I love this place

Patrick H.: Not enough space with a crowded class

C Milieme: Good communication, great classes! Thanks for getting back to me

Marco Scola: Great Place for the dance lovers!

ill_ ana: I like Afro classes here. Nice and cool studio!

PoleFlow Berlin: Very nice studio and classes :)

Paul K: Very nice dance place - salsa & bachata

Detlef Schmidt: There are certainly good dance classes there.. but the people who answer the phone there are amateurs.. very horrible treatment of customers.

Sandra Neugaertner: I have taken part in the Power Yoga course several times and looking back I can say that it was the most efficient "training" I have ever done. Since then, I have never noticed such major physical changes during the course anywhere else. You feel great after every session - not only physically - but also mentally/psychologically.

motion*s Tanz- und Bewegungsstudio: what do users think?

Chevy Nyala: Motion*s is certainly the most divers and most welcoming dance school in Berlin with one of the broadest offers in classes and styles. However, I’m sad that the standard and quality of many courses have dropped quite a bit in the last year or so. Where there were high-profile instructors, often well established masters of their styles, there are now a lot of twenty-somethings teaching classes, who just don’t bring the same level of expertise and teaching quality (especially if you yourself are not a teenager anymore). In the last two years I saw at least 4-5 great instructors leave. Merely the Jazz and Ballet classes have stayed relatively consistent. Unfortunately those have also fallen prey to the “USC-syndrome”, though. Because of providers like Urban Sports Club there is so much rotation and random drop-ins that instructors seem often forced to lower the level and explain everything from the basis, especially in the beginner and intermediate classes, which is super frustrating and hindering for the regular students. I hope this will improve again and the school will shift its focus back on experienced, adept instructors, so all the dancers above 25 feel comfortable too
Response: Hi Chevy, thank you for your detailed review. You know all of our teachers are self employed and come and go throughout the years when they are booked for dance jobs or move around the world or take baby pauses ... . So we have little control over that area. And other teachers usually come via recommendation or are part of our existing network. But If you have feedback about specific teachers / classes we'd be happy to get an email from you info@motionsberlin.de to look into it. And yes you are right about the USC syndrome, wich is why not all of our classes are bookable through the app. It is the teachers who decide if they wish for their class to be bookable via USC. So please also speak to your teacher about this experience so he or she can then make a more informed decision about putting their training out there. Thanks again for your review! Kind regards your motion*s office team

Astrid Paramita: All in all it’s not bad, but... From time to time they cancelled class without notice. Happened 3 times to me already. One time is compensated, one is only with a sorry, the other was a shrug. It’s annoying because they don’t even understand the time away that you already spend to get to and from the studio. Bad comm. Added/edited due to owner's comment: Which classes: 2 vogue classes, one earlier this year and one last week. One ballet class that they failed to communicate that one definitely need to pre-register beforehand, otherwise not happening even when you queued for 30 minutes just to get to the front desk.
Response: Hey Astrid! This is of course very annoying. I totally understand your frustration. Can you write me which classes or when this happened ? We always aim to improve our service. We still hope to see you again in our studio. All the best, your motion*s team

Linda Veijola: Great classes with warm atmosphere 😊 Good location with the studio. Easy to dorp-in or go regulary. Teaching often in English. A lot of classes for adults. Open levels vary a lot, so you’ll find out the level by just trying. Overall, can only recommend!
Response: Hey thank you Linda! Can you also recommend the dance program that you've been a part of? lot's of love from motion*s <3

ellie hiscott: I bought a 10.er Karte just before the Corona crisis hit! But no matter, the show still went on, this time in our own homes via the Zoom application. A fantastic experience for everyone concerned, as most of us were operating out of our comfort zone, but the tutors remained just as professional and responsive as in the live studio situation and have proven more responsive to such online media than in many other areas of life. (Schoolteachers could learn a lot from this!) The online classes, one week flat-rate of 32 Euros gave me access to 15 different classes, i.e. 15 different genres. What an amazing way to acquaint yourself with the styles/teachers and then choose the best one for you for when things return to normal. Beginners should be encouraged to try this approach, as it will remove the rather normal barrier of shyness and fear of humiliation/failure/judgment. On that note, you shouldn't be attending at all, if you are worried about such things. If you don't fail, you don't learn. Don't go in with any preconceptions and you won't go out disappointed. Each time you will have learned a new skill, technique and little nuggets of information that someone has spent their lifetime acquiring... Enter with an open heart, turn the current negative situation into a positive one... and most important of all, enjoy!!
Response: Oh wow Ellie thank you for this amazing feedback. We really appreciate this and we love to know that people understood the possibilities this situation has given us all. It was rather challenging for us as a studio to set this whole online classes thing up from one week to the next and we are so grateful for all our techers who said "yes I'm gonna giv it a try with Zoom Classes". Even our kids classes had online attendances of up to 14 very young children in a class and it worked quite well and was a beautiful sight to see. So thank you again for this great rating and let us know what we can do better to deserve the 5th of those rating stars here. ;) By the way your 10 ticket should be still valid. Hope to see you at the studio, since we are open again. <3 your motion*s office team

Bosaina El Haggar: Critical: ValueWaste of time sorry :/ in the 2 times i booked a class, they changed the teacher without giving notice. Also in the 2 times, the teacher is not teaching us anything, she’s basically just dancing so that we can follow.
Response: hey there, sorry you made this experience twice. Though you must know that our teachers are all self employed. Sometimes people call in sick on short notice because how can you plan that? We always put a lot of effort into finding substitute teachers on short notice. For them jumping into an unknown group can be challenging for them as well. As soon as we get info about a change of teachers we usually communicate that via our Kurskalender.

Chris Gogler: Great dance studio! The first class you do is only 5 Euros, really worth checking out. Diverse range of classes. The voguing class is wicked!

Dina Kourouvani: the dance celebration in Berlin! Reminds me of Pineapple in London. Very friendly and easy going ambience, reasonable prices very interesting schedule and amazing teachers ❤️ The perfect place to enjoy dancing, especially for dance-lovers-non-professional .
Response: Thank you so much for your feedback!

Marco Scola: Very nice dance studio, very clean and bright

senem: Wonderful place and professional teachers
Response: thank you Senem! Hope we'll be seing you regularily!

Bjőrn Burgund: I've been going to Motions for a number of years. The Kirs offer is very diverse not only in terms of dance directions, but also in terms of age groups. The registration staff is always friendly and open to all questions

Barbara K: The school is led by passionate and kind teachers giving you a freedom to either follow the training plan or have your training arranged more individualy. If you want to learn a new dance - they will find the time to show it to you. If you want to concentrate on the technique - they will do their best to explain the details and help master it. Apparenlty it's working, because many of us have superb results at the competitions! The atmosphere is great, the trainings are long and the space to dance is big!

Silvia Švejdová: The best place to learn Irish dancing in Berlin ❤️ from hobby dancing just for fun to preparation for competitions, all under one roof. And the first class is for free ;)

Flore: Nice vibe, good classes, plenty of space in the studio. Affordable too, for a drop-in class. Dressing rooms are really ting though...

Michelle Davis: Fantastic classes for professionals every morning both in ballet and contemporary taught by a rotation of guest teachers. They also offer children's classes in the evening.

Jenny Arvidsson: Really enjoyed the dancing space. Unfortunately me and my friend was met by an unfriendly male receptionist. Unnecessary and dragged the whole experience down. Won't go back

Kayla Collymore: Visited Berlin for one week from America and took a great modern class here for only 7 euros. Great community feeling and friendly competition

Felipe Soto Barraza Fizkal: Its a good place to stay in dance trainning, sadly there is not always proffesional people taking the class and this cam be really enoying but is still really really good and full recomended

Mate Moray: Nice big studio, super friendly staff, very reasonable prices, professional teachers. Simply great.

Michi Mastrilli: Great room for dancing and nice teachers

Anna M: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, Valuenice wide studio and amazing teachers! love the gaga classes

Berlin Dance Institute: what do users think?

Sara Kibler: The Berlin Dance Institute creates a place, where everyone, regardless of their dance level, can discover and learn about themselves through dance. I highly recommend the five month intensive program to anyone interested in an intensive dance experience. The teachers are incredible, ready to give fair and helpful corrections and make sure that the group moves forward together. The respect for each other, both among the program members and between students and teachers, creates an ideal learning atmosphere that is motivating and encouraging. From Graham, to ballet, to different styles of contemporary dance and improvisation, everyone can discover their potential, their style, their preferences and wants. A big thank you to Suleika and the entire BDI team for this unique and inspiring experience. <3

Ley La: Best dance school ever! I love it. Have been to other schools before but this one is by far the nicest and most welcoming environment. Everyone is working honest, hard but with fun. I can just recommend auditioning here if you seriously wanna become a professional dancer.

Valentine Capian.Moser: Great dancing space and no issues with neighbors because of the music.

Karin Gingras: Absolutely wonderful place to train and dance - excellent teachers who bring lots of heart and create a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment to really grow and explore, good floors, and beautiful big studio spaces 💎

sandra ann butler: What a fantastic place to dance and to be inspired. The diversity of the teachers is amazing; they all ooze professionalism and at the same time cherish their students. They have created an oasis of calm and tranquility where learning is enjoyable, creative and satisfying. This is the place to be, truly impressive!

Milana Kraskina: I am so grateful that I am a part of Berlin Dance Institute, that takes the art of dance so seriously.🤗 Berlin Dsnce Institute is the dance studio that not only serves as the most inspirational place to educate yourself in dance, but also a home away from home. The training in all dance forms at BDI is exceptional. I have trained with many different teachers and the teachers at BDI are just so fantastic at everything they do. Not only being able to teach challenging and fun combinations and dances that keep us dancers engaged in class, but also the fact that any question fathomable about technique is able to be answered by the teachers. In addition to blanket corrections given to the whole class, the teachers make a point to give individual corrections to each student. That's another thing, the emphasis on perfect technique with the addition to artistry is one of the most amazing parts about BDI. They do not just develop dancers who can go through the motions and who can move well. Us dancers are taught to perfectly execute the dances and combination with defined technique AND to dance from the inside out letting our emotions drive the technique and movement. We get the opportunity to explore many different ways of expressing one style of dance. It also keeps the minds of the dancers open and able to pick up new material easily because we are constantly trying to learn a different combination or dance. I love BDI and it is my home away from home. In addition to having found the studio that offers exceptional dance training, it is also the studio where the positive energy constantly circulating the entire building makes it nearly impossible to not love every one around you that you are dancing with. All the teachers and dancers have positive attitudes that makes walking into BDI something to be excited about.😘

Dorothée Tölgyesi: The staff and students succeded in creating a family like environment while still pushing for better results. This establishment nurtures talent and allows you to reach your full potential. No other institution is able to achieve such a high level of professionalism and create a strong lasting relationship between dancers and their art.

SophiaMpoulou: I am a first year student, and I already saw progress in the way i make each movement. We work really hard, and both teachers and students really put so much effort for the best result! If you aim high, then Berlin Dance Institute is the right school for you! :)

Stephanie Leisen: If you want to be a dancer you should go to Berlin dance Institute. Great and professional teachers will give you the best education you can get!!! :-)

Rosanna Barriobero: Amazing school! I’m really happy with my education. Super nice energy and atmosphere of all the students, and very professional teachers from all over the world.

Dolce Vita Dance Studio: what do users think?

Nina Porsinger: 110% recommend! I have experienced Silvia teaching in all kinds of settings: regular dance classes, workshops, long term performance projects and she even choreographed my wedding dance. So I can in all honesty say that she is not only a great dancer and teacher but also an awesome person. I love her energy and how she believes in her students. In the 5 performance projects that I have participated in I have grown and gained more confidence with every show and all of that while having quite a few good laughs in class. 😆I am so excited about her having her own Studio now!

Elena Marín: Great Dance Studio in Berlin! I really love this dance studio and I would especially like to highlight the courses, which are not only varied, but also lead by professional trainers. Before I knew Dolce Vita Dance I was only dancing at salsa parties, since I joined the first project over two years ago my dance skills improved a lot, I very feel inspired and supported by Silvia. The location is ideal, very clean and cozy, I always feel welcomed.
Response: Thank you so much Elena! Your review means a lot to us and we love to have you as part of Dolce Vita Dance.

Oxana Dubova: Every class at the DVD-Studio is for me not only an amazing space for learning and practicing salsa, but also a joyful dancing experience. Silvia is a great instructor. I like her playful and supportive teaching style. I also participated in one of the performance projects: challenging, fun and I learnt a lot. Very grateful for this experience and I will definitely do it again.

Navaneeth Soori: Silvia is one of the most technically advanced, friendly teachers that I have learned from. She really takes care to ensure that each student gets individual attention, be it a beginner class or an advanced performance project. I would highly recommend Dolce Vita to anyone in Berlin looking to get started with salsa, and become part of a friendly, passionate community of salsa dancers and teachers!!
Response: Thank you so much Nav! We so much appreciate you being part of our community!

Marcel Scholz: Best Salsa On2 dance school in Berlin! The classes taught by Silvia & friends make sure that you not only learn nice patterns, but also strongly improve as a dancer in all other aspects. I love it!
Response: Dear Marcel, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave an excellent rating! We're beyond glad you like the Salsa on2 classes at Dolce Vita Dance Studio in Berlin and we really appreciate you helping to share the word about us. Thank you for being part of our dance community!

Lila Herman: Spent over 8 months learning from Silvia. Fundamental course is very good and added a lot to my knowledge of the basics. Couple dance is the best place for beginners to learn On2 in berlin in my opinion. Advanced lady style is also great and very challenging.
Response: Thank you so much for this 5-star review Lila. We really appreciate you helping to share the word about us. We’re here for you anytime!

Derek Williams: My wife and I learned a dance for our wedding from Silvia. We learned so much in great detail in a short period of time. It was a please to get taught from Silva. The dance studio is in a great location, is easy to reach, which nice options for a bite to eat nearby. We plan to go back and learn some more SalsaOn2 from her and her great team of teachers.

Anna Otto: Silvia is a sunshine, she is a trained dancer who has a lot of experience and shares all her passion and knowledge with the students. I am so grateful to her, because I was able to learn a lot from her. I have already learned three choreography projects. These are pure feel-good packages, which are usually structured in the same way: warm-up, repetition, new things and stretching.... All this in 2.5 hours every week for 6 months. You usually get the opportunity to dance a show afterwards. Her courses are mostly in English, which I personally like very much. Of course she speaks fluent German and also spanish.

Thao: I love this dance school! So much fun and teaching quality is amazing and Silvia always provide feedback useful to the students. Very inclusive environment which is very rare!
Response: Thank you so much Thao! We love to have you and your review means a lot to us!

Chloé Puget: I've been taking classes for 6 months there now and found everything I was looking for: a super competent and friendly teacher, good vibes, new friends, a pretty studio in a nice neighborhood... Always looking forward to go there 😊
Response: Thank you Chloé! We love to have you here:)

Pro-Stage Berlin: what do users think?

Europe Petline: The team : disorganized, unfriendly, arrogant. especially the owner. Dance classes: poor, superficial, unprofessional. the intermediate classes are practically lessons for beginners. The studio: small, ugly. you can't really move, definitely not suitable for dance. there are definitely better dance schools in Berlin.
Response: Hello Cristina, although you are writing anonymously, I will address you by name because you were the only one in the last year who wanted to describe us in such a negative way. Our participants are very enthusiastic about our work and appreciate what we have achieved, especially in the last year. We are a privately run institution and we have mastered all difficulties very flexibly, professionally and organized even in the exceptionally challenging pandemic period. We have great welcoming spaces and great trainers who provide excellent training from recreational to professional training. We are a state-registered supplementary school and offer 3-year full-time training in the areas of dance, singing and acting, which leads to a qualified professional qualification. And all this for more than 15 years! You regularly attended our ballet training (and continued to come even after this review, so it can't be that bad with us ;-)) and when there were problems with one of our distribution partners in the first lockdown period, we have 2 owners and one Counter - Kraft takes care of you and your concerns - although the solution to your problem, as explained several times, was NOT our responsibility! And now comes this inappropriate and untrue review, unfair and unacceptable from us! DAN-PRO-STAGE Berlin

Susanne Quakkelaar: Last week I went out of my comfort zone and tried something completely different for myself. I tried breakdance for beginners. It already started when I came in the studio, there were already students waiting but there was no one to tell me where to change etc. That was of course not the biggest problem. I saw a guy going in of the rooms but it was not clear for me that was the teacher of the class that I was about to join. Eventually I went inside and asked if this was the breakdance for beginner class. I was waiting for him to start the class but he was just dancing and playing around and it was already time to start. Than eventually he came to me and showed me the first move. Where was the warming up? There was none. So I tried things with the basic step and I saw the teacher was no longer paying attention to me but to his other students. I could see this was not a organized planned class. They were just dancing & playing around. I didn't know further what to do and eventually I went to the teacher if he was gonna teach me something else. He asked me if I did everything that was possible with the move he taught me. I needed to explore every possibility on my own. Because dancing is listening to yourself, and if you're afraid to dance it means you're afraid of yourself. So this was his answer? I don't know how to breakdance. How can I even start to (break) dance if I don't know the basics. This is the reason why I came to a beginner class to learn from someone and not to improvise or to create something on my own. Than I would go to a completely different class. He just explained to me that this is not his philosophy. That it was not about how to breakdance. But to feel the music. I will never come back to this studio. I'm sure there are other teachers with different teaching style but this really made me feel annoyed. I wanted to learn a different style but in the end I was just improvising on my own.
Response: Susanne, you judged our whole school that bad after one single trial lesson?! We are sorry, that this training did not fulfill your expectations, but 2 stars for the whole studio is quite unfair. We started in 2004 and we have lots of students and teachers who follow us since then. We have 45 classes a week, given from 14 very qualified different teachers. And all classes are well visited. And we are a state-approved supplement school and train students in a 3-year full-time education to become a dancer singer and actor. Liam is a very good teacher and Breakdancer – and of course he teaches his philosophy: Breakdance is freestyling and exploring something new. As you wrote: you wanted to try something new to leave your comfort zone. In our opinion that means you should have tried to find out what the teacher means, and not thinking that you know how a breakdance training should be taught. Best, Pro - Stage Berlin

PoleFlow Berlin: Dance classes are great!! very recommended
Response: Thank you for your post!

Jose L: If you want to become a dancer or an actor, DO NOT enroll in this school: only half of the advertised offer is actually taught, the lessons from the main mentors are often unprepared and contain little technical education, instead all the more psychological Assault coupled with various stereotypical views that are spread. There's a lot to learn from the other teachers, but they don't determine the training.
Response: We have been a state nec for almost 20 years. Vocational school for the performing arts. Among other things, we offer full-time training to become a freelance artist. Being able to practice free art as a profession means learning to turn your innermost being to the outside, being able to show yourself intensively and always making sure that courage is greater than fear ;-) of course, that's not for everyone and that's exactly what it is for I also thought of such an apprenticeship - to find out whether you can and would like to do it. And sometimes, after a while, a student realizes that this work is not for him/her. Then there is usually disappointment - understandably - and then sometimes the institution must be "to blame" ;-) Students who work successfully with us deal with the trainers in their work and thus surpass themselves and understand it is to assert yourself and your opinion and also to enforce it. As a result, they also understand more and more why we work the way we do. Anyone who doesn't manage to work in this openness then writes untrue, anonymous reviews....all the best for the future, DAN

L: I wanted to come to the ballet class that was recruited through USC. There I was greeted by surprise from the window and told that the lesson would probably not take place until 2 hours later. I should look that up again. Too bad, no thanks!
Response: Hello, we are very sorry that you had any inconvenience because something went wrong at Urbansports with the change of the schedule! Unfortunately, you fell right into the change of time for this course, sorry!!! We advise all Urbansports members to keep checking our website or to follow us on Instagram. In any case, all changes always work here! Your anger is understandable, but it's a pity that you're only giving our entire institution one star because of a visit that didn't work out. The trainer who was giving one-to-one lessons stopped his lesson and looked out the window to try to solve your problem because no one else was there yet. We have been a vocational school for the performing arts for almost 20 years and, in addition to our full-time professional training and our individual lessons, we also offer around 30 different open courses every week. Feel free to get an objective picture of our work, we look forward to welcoming you again. Many greetings, DAN

CiJa SeKo: I trained there for a while last year, until unfortunately my babysitter dropped out, so I didn't have time anymore. I have taken ballet lessons and have had very pleasant experiences: the teachers adapt their level of instruction to those present and also take the time to carefully dissect and explain individual step sequences technically if you do not know them and ask questions. I can highly recommend the school: the morning, open training is great, whether you're a student there or an external participant (like me). In the evening it is busier but not too crowded. I hope that I'll be able to train there again soon in the future.
Response: Thanks for the great feedback!

Ninorta Coban: I have been completing my training as a stage artist in the fields of dance, singing and acting for almost 2 years and I am very happy that I took this step. I've been taking singing lessons since I was 9 years old and I'm 25 years old now. Never before has a teacher managed to get as much out of me as the singing teacher DAN, a remarkable woman with many talents who brings her many years of experience and great methods to the lessons. I also take part in numerous classes on the subjects of dance, acting, business and presence. With the professional work of the teachers, an individual approach to each student or character succeeds. As a result, the best can be brought out of everyone. I am grateful that this school exists and can only recommend it!
Response: Dear Ninorta, thank you for your great feedback - it's a lot of fun to accompany you as you "grow" :-)

ella fitz: I've been going to PRO - STAGE to dance for many years, with the same quality and consistently low prices. I particularly like ballet at Matthew and jazz at Warnar - highly recommended! The school has very great managers, trainers and staff and the students are very nice - there is no arrogant bickering here, which I find very relaxing. I also like to be in the spacious entrance and lounge area after training, there is always someone to chat with. In training there is a warm and concentrated work atmosphere, here you really make progress!
Response: Dear Ella, thank you for your detailed feedback :-)

Byrke Lou: I've been coming back to Pro-Stage for 6 years and I've only had 100% good experiences. I don't understand what negative things are written about the school at all. On the contrary. I have the feeling that someone here is deliberately turning all the positive qualities of the school into negative ones. I now work professionally as a musician/dancer, but I still enjoy coming to training. In my opinion the best school in Berlin. I have never experienced so much genuine and honest commitment to students and their careers anywhere else. Enjoy the training!! ------ In my opinion the best school in Berlin, just check it out!
Response: Dear Byrke, thank you very much for your great rating and your support against the "character assassination" ;-) Luckily there are more people who appreciate our work... And it's always a pleasure to work with you - professionally , determined, inspired and motivated...what more does a trainer need :-)

Stella Talesnik: I learned more in this school in 3 years than in the previous 20 years in several other schools in Berlin. Thank you that you exist!
Response: Dear Stella, waoh - thank you so much for your great feedback. It's a pleasure to watch you grow :-) Kind regards, DAN

TapBeat, International Tap Dance Center: what do users think?

Alisa Kotmair: Such a positive, welcoming vibe at TapBeat! Great for kids, international staff, interesting classes. Finally a bit of creativity for all ages in the S-Bahn Bögen at Savigny Platz. It would be great to have more of that in the area.
Response: Dear Alisa, thank you so much. We are happy to be able to offer you our dance classes and to have you as such a nice customer. 👍♥️

Jelena Tojic: Great, inspirative place! Good concept, people and energy..

Claudia: Great tap dance studio. After a long hiatus, I started tap dancing again. I was happy that Cristina offers the online courses. So I was able to start tapping again at home even when I was in lockdown. I felt like I belonged right away and it was/is nice to tap-tap with other people (at home). It's even nicer in the studio. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again in August and I think it's great that I can take part online, even if I'm not in Berlin.
Response: Dear Claudia, we are very happy that you are here and that you feel comfortable at TapBeat. Thank you for your nice feedback.

Sibylle Boeckh: Great dance studio with great teachers, workshops with international dance greats and a very nice atmosphere. I have been taking courses regularly for two years and have already learned a lot. Hopefully this place will survive the current Corona crisis unscathed!
Response: Dear Sibylle, thank you very much for your nice feedback. Yes, we keep fighting and hope to one day be able to dance with you "in person" again.

Angie Binnewitt: I came as a workshop guest and immediately felt at home there, as if I were a regular student there. The location 😍😍😍 Wonderful, horny floor that really makes sound. Christina and the people I met from the team 😍😍😍 Warm, warm and crazy. I will certainly travel to you every now and then
Response: Dear Angie, it was a pleasure having you with us. Come back soon, we will miss you... Cristina and the TapBeat team

Belly Dancer Isabella: Beautiful space and convenient location. The owner is very friendly and accommodating!
Response: Thanks for the nice review and see you soon.

DanceMasters DanceSchool: what do users think?

Michael Blass: Denny is great with the kids. The performances are worth seeing and each time a highlight for my daughter. His commitment and his manner ensure a lot of fun during training and performances.
Response: Good morning Michael Blass, Thank you very much for the 5 stars and your positive feedback. We are happy to hear that your daughter is having a lot of fun with us and that is exactly our goal. DH: Seldom met someone who is so personable and motivating. Denny always has a smile (that's so nice) on his face and manages to pull his participants away. He is my body and soul in it. And for him it is not about commerce, but only about having fun while dancing. As a mom, I always sit on the couch and watch and always have to pull myself back so as not to get up and not join in. My son has great fun dancing and is making great strides. Thank you Denny for finding you and your dance school. Kivi & Cecil

claudi fmann: Very dear dance teacher, who lovingly dedicates herself to the small children. The exercises and steps are taught in a great child-friendly way. My daughter (4 years) has a lot of fun jumping and dancing in the Elsa dress :-) And there are even real approaches to ballet. We are very satisfied :-)

Ramona Weber: Our daughter (8) recently joined the DanceMasters and we are very excited. She felt welcome from the first moment and she loves going there. DancerDenny has a really great way of showing and explaining the choreographies to the children. Anyone can (learn) to dance with him. Our daughter had never danced before and still got in very quickly. There is no pressure to perform. It's just fun! :-)
Response: Good morning Ramona Weber, We are of course very pleased to hear that your daughter likes it with us and that she likes coming to us. pawel kan: A great dance school. My daughter and I take part in the age-spanning hard dance (shuffle & jumpstyle) and really enjoy it. Communication with Dennis is great, the dance teachers are also very helpful. The premises are good but a bit cramped. Dancing outdoors in summer as an alternative to corona restrictions was a great idea! :-)
Response: Hello Pawel Kan, Thank you very much for the 5 stars and your positive feedback. We are pleased that the Harddance dance course is so well received by you as a family. Mourad A.: "Creative Children's Dance" The dance teacher responds excellently to the children and playfully teaches them how to dance. No strict ballet as you know it, but completely free and with a lot of fun.

Geraldine Kunze-Neumann: We had the privilege of welcoming Denny and his dancers to our elementary school for a shuffle workshop. The children had great fun learning the dance steps to motivating music. Our school was so enthusiastic that we immediately invited the dancers again. Nice, likeable and committed young dancers. Keep it up 👍
Response: Good morning Geraldine Kunze-Neumann, Giant, thanks for the 5 stars and the very great experience text. It was a lot of fun for us to teach the Shuffle-WorkShop at school. The kids have been really bombastic and have such a quick implementation ability. That's just great. Melina F.: We are very enthusiastic about Dancemasters Danceschool, especially Denny, our daughter's dance teacher. She has type 1 diabetes and at first we were a little afraid of registering her anywhere. Since in most dance schools the parents are not allowed to be present. Denny made it possible for us to be there and thus made it possible for our daughter to be a normal child. Thanks for that . And the post 💲 is unbeatable 👍
Response: Good morning Melina Falke, that is exactly our goal, that everyone is happy with the work of the DanceMasters and mine. Martina Sommerfeldt: The children take the various courses with a lot of joy and fun. A variety of courses are offered. Nowadays, there is hardly a selection that is great for young and old. Dances to current songs are always rehearsed. The children have a lot of fun at different appearances where the Ranzscgule performs. Acceptable course fee and great dance instructors. They work with children and adults. They are always with heart and soul when dancing, very important. There are hardly any left these days. Particularly noteworthy is the dance teacher Dennis, who teaches children to dance with a lot of patience, effort and discipline. All kids feel in good hands with him. Highly recommended, keep it up.
Response: Good morning Martina, Thank you very much for your contribution / feedback on our dance school and our classes. Such words and phrases give us even more power for the future, to continue to be much more for the children and adolescents and to offer more. We thank you from the heart. Yours sincerely Dance Masters Crew

Scarlett Copfer: Our children have already attended one or the other ballet, jazz, cheerleading, hip-hop course, but now they have finally found their place at Dancemasters Berlin. They love going to Denny's and love the dance class. Whenever possible, they dance his dance steps at home and sing along loudly to his selected song lyrics. Denny is patient, funny and makes dancing fun. It's a pleasure to watch Denny put a smile on the children's faces. Thank you for your loving care of our children.
Response: Good evening Scarlett Copfer, thank you very much for your great positive feedback. We always go to great lengths to make the courses and choreographies always as interesting as possible for children and teens, and so far this has always been achieved. Through such positive feedback, this strengthens us more and more in our work. A big thank you to you again.
