Annie Kirchner: We‘ve been with Dr. Mendez since 2016 and very satisfied with him. The doctor speaks very good English, understanding and professional!! Even my mom flew from Bangkok to see him and get his treatment! Dr. Mendez was really lovely and kind to our 4 year old son The receptionist lady was also nice although she doesn’t speak English but that‘s totally ok with us 👍 The waiting time was average around 30-40 mins. Overall, we‘re very happy with him! Highly recommend Dr. Mendez!!
Ante Jurlin: Doctor Mendez ist nice, but never actually takes any time for me. I´ve been there several times and he was always in rush and never properly listened to me. But my 2-star rate is not becasue of him, but because of the communication with the desk, which is not possible at all. You can never reach anybody on the phone and on their website it said you can write them an E-mail. I did so so many times, but it was the most frustrating experience ever. They never answer the E-mails, they just call back or totally ignore me! By call back, I mean that they try to call you back once and if you cannot answer the phone, that´s it, you missed your opportunity since they never bother to reach you again. And since I cannot answer the phone calls while working, the communication with them was not possible. And I wonder why do they have an E-mail address if they don´t answer the messages. So now, even if I would want to go back there, i can´t because my last two E-Mails trying to get an appointment were totally ignored for months now already.
Diana Jensen: Really really bad experience. I wait for one 1 hour!!! I had my appointment at 9.30 and they called me at 10.30. // The doctor not even check properly my skin... I ask to do regular blod test to check if I have food allergies (since he told me that last year...and he did not want it to to anything... just gave me the same cream than one year ago. He say: you just have stress! // Is not a good doctor for sure. I would not recomend to come here.
John McSpedon: Terrible reception. Cancelled multiple appointments without calling beforehand, apologizing, or offering to reschedule. Doctor could be okay, but only 1 of my 3 scheduled visits actually resulted in speaking with them. Complete waste of time

Karishma Govind: I have been a sufferer of Eczema my whole life. Originally from New Zealand and my husband and I are travelling around Europe. I was experiencing a flare up around my mouth, wrist and neck, which has been on and off for the last 2-3 years. Coming from New Zealand most doctors visits, resulted in antibiotics and different steroid creams for prevention, which always worked in the short term and Dermatologist consultations that lasted less than 5 minutes and provided me no help at all. I came in crying to the Dermatologikum Berlin as my eczema had become very extreme. Dr Uwe Trefzer, spent 20 minutes examining my eczema, providing me a thorough consultation, with a treatment plan and a long-term solution. I was also requested to come back for a follow up consultation after using a few creams, and then provided a maintenance plan for my eczema. I have never felt happier and more at peace knowing I have now found the correct help to prevent and manage future flare ups. By far the best help I have ever received. Thank you so much Dr Uwe. I highly recommend this dermatologist here in Berlin. I came all the way from New Zealand and have received the best care.
Kirill Pronine: Always very quick during the appointment almost pushing you out the door claiming that there is a line waiting. Happened twice with our family. Feels like a money making operation and not a doctors office that is interested in the patients wellbeing. Last straw was the cancellation of an appointment via sms two hours before the appointment without a call or an offer to reschedule or see another doctor. UPDATE: and they have hired a shady lawyer to take down bad reviews. Tough to handle the truth.
A S: I would like to specify that the receptionists mess up a lot (i.e. not passing you to correct doctor, timing, etc.) but there is one good doctor at Dermatologikum in Berlin, and that is Dr. Prof. Kämpgen. 5/10 would recommend him as a doctor for serious issues such as psoriasis or eczema. The first doctor told me that I had backne, but I told her that I was told that it could not be backne. When I requested to see Dr. Kämpgen, be confirmed that Backne was not the issue, but that it was indeed a different skin issue. I would say the clinic is good if you go to the good doctor. The only real problem is that they can’t help with treatment for the serious issues…
Jeff Feiereisen: Amazing clinic. Their English was fluent which was important for me since I was visiting Germany. Clinic was so clean and modern looking. Huge space too. I came in due to a rash and met with Prof. Kämpgen. He was incredible. He was friendly, he listened, he was patient, and most importantly, he knew exactly what to do. He built a plan of attack and provided follow up actions. I really felt safe, heard, and helped.

Lucie: Critical: ValueI was there for whiting teeth. It costs 99 euros and at the end you can’t see a difference or just a few. For this result, you can use a whiting kit at home as I do. So It’s better to go to a dentist for this if you want an efficient result.

Starting with desensitization against various allergies, through skin cancer prevention, to blepharoplasty (upper eyelid lift), hyaluronic acid/botulinum and laser treatments. dr Pettker and his team are always friendly, polite and understanding. There is no mass processing in rapid transit, so I am very happy to accept the waiting times, which you also have as a privately insured person. Nando Rossi: I’ve never seen dr Janina, though I’ve been coming here for years. I’m privately insured, but I also have looooong waits for appointments. The service has been generally good when it comes to the doctors; I’ve seen dr Erdlen and done a minor surgery with her, she’s usually quite good to deal with. Preventive medicine or follow up is clearly not part of the culture here in Berlin, and here it isn’t either. When I come here it’s like dropping in to do my nails, we do what needs to be done and it’s up to me when and how to return. The downsides: scheduling online is terrible and unreliable, they never answer the phone and the receptionist is always rather harsh, although she tries her best, I know. Also I can see they do treat public insurance differently and am glad I’m private.

Joseph Farias: I had a skin cancer screening here with Dr. Groene. I can honestly say that it was one of the doctor experiences which you want in your life. Dr. Groene has just the right mix of professionalism and humour - everything is explained in detail and very clearly and you feel relaxed. Best of all you do not have to undress in Front of "public". There are wardrobes and Hotelslippers. The staff is cheery. A big plus for me and other expats - everyone speaks English, Irene is Spanish native. This makes everything a breeze.

André Garrels: I feel with Dr. Kleinschmidt absolutely professional and patient advice at all times. The other practice and operating room staff also appear to be experienced. My eyelid and brow lift performed in December 2021 has really achieved an amazingly natural result and exceeded my expectations. I came myself on the recommendation of a friend from the medical industry who had himself corrected there and would recommend the practice at any time.

Katrin Zug: I decided to have liposuction in February 2019 (buttocks and legs) with Dr Kleinschmidt. I was warmly welcomed by the nurse on the day of the operation. I was given a sedative before the operation, so everything was a little more relaxed because I opted for a local anaesthetic. You still have to be a bit brave, but if you really want something, you can do it. From time to time you felt a pinch. The nurse and also Fr. Kleinschmidt always asked in between if everything was ok. We even talked very nicely during the operation and so the time went by much faster. Then I got my pants on. My friend picked me up! Definitely a painkiller right away. take, then it is more bearable. The next day I had to go for a follow-up examination, wound check and new bandages. I was called in weekly to see if everything was healing well. I can only recommend Dr Kleinschmidt!
Polgk Rcvt: A relatively large flat mole/birthmark on my face has been bothering me for a long time, which I now wanted to have removed after careful consideration. Based on the tip of a close family member who introduced me to Dr. medical Annett Kleinschmidt as a proven expert in the field of plastic surgery, I became aware of the DOCURE practice. After a short telephone appointment and a detailed consultation that followed, I finally decided to have the mole from Dr. to have Keinschmidt removed. From the beginning I felt in good hands in the beauty clinic, Dr. Kleinschmidt convinces with her friendly and at the same time competent demeanor. The practice team completes this impression, always friendly, courteous and always helpful, even with subsequent questions. In retrospect, I am just extremely happy and completely satisfied that I chose Dr. Kleinschmidt decided. You hardly see any scar, although the mole was at least about 0.6 mm wide and long. I have to say that I am a very vain person and find scars annoying. But this scar is so subtle that I have to get very close to the mirror to see it. Therefore, the practice and Mrs. Dr. Highly recommend Kleinschmidt.

Enmanuel Ortega: So far, so good. I like the way the two physiotherapists have treated me. First, I was treated by Maya (really nice and speaks Spanish), and due to availability, I had to switch to Fabio, and he is great, friendly, and professional. I have been there 4 times now and hope that for the next appointments, I will receive a good treatment.
Monserrat Cazares: Great place and service! I got my appointment super quick and all the team speak fluently English! Super recommend for expat community. For the Spanish speaking community, I recommend the physiotherapist Maya, native in Spanish which made my experience through my treatment very easy

Alai ArAg: Great team with international perspective! Excellent for expat community looking for physio without the trouble of not being understood: everyone here at least speaks German and English! Although there’s also Spanish, Italian, Albanian and Croatian speaking therapists! Administration personal is very good at finding you a session asap! And they offer the option to book an appointment through Doctorlib! Amazing place!

Arslan Ali: We had our second child delivered here. The whole experience was amazing. All the staff including doctors and midwives were simply outstanding. They were very engaging, courteous and easy to communicate with. We are extremely happy that a large baby was delivered normally. Highly recommend this hospital. Again Kudos to all staff members at DRK Klinniken Westend.
Alexander Flensburg: I came in to remove metal from my knee from a past operation after Benjamin Franklin Hospital refused to do the operation (after doing the first one badly two times). Overall my experience in DRK vs Charité was night and day. Here I was treated with respect, the different departments had working communication lines and I had the surgery on the agreed upon time with no complications. I felt safe and in good hands, which I could not say in Charité. I would for sure come here again to have other procedures done.
Bo: Awful emergency room. Repeatedly waiting more than 4-6 hours and had the worst experience with a secretary in the emergency room. Came in with a potential miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy and I asked her if she speaks English and she immediately started raising her voice at me that she doesn’t. My husband then used his phone to translate for me so she could understand what the problem was and she started laughing pointing at my husband saying “are YOU pregnant?” and continued making this joke the entire time we had to deal with her. Absolutely rude, unprofessional and unacceptable behavior when you’re dealing with people in a sensitive medical situation. Also absolutely crazy in a city like Berlin that the emergency room could not find a secretary that speaks English or has any sense of professionalism or empathy. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Ruan Adlam: I recently had to visit the emergency room after waking up and feeling very ill. Me being an immigrant, who is still busy learning German, did not keep Dr Kevin Weihs from helping me during my time of need. DRK Kliniken Berlin can count itself extremely lucky to have an exceptional medical practitioner like Dr Weihs within its employ!

Nada Nabil: Everything went great, it was a Saturday morning and I needed to see a general practitioner. Staff was friendly and there was no one in the waiting room, I was let in immediately. Doctor offered to speak in English and did a thorough check up. Professional and friendly behavior.
bhagyashree vyas: I had a laparoscopy at DRK Westend clinic. The surgery went smooth, the surgeons and doctors are really good. I liked the anaesthetic department, they made me feel comfortable before the surgery. Post surgery care is good, nurses are very helpful, I was in lots of pain and discomfort after the surgery and needed to call a nurse almost every hour, they were always available and helpful. There were two things I found bad: 1. It looks like the hospital is under staffed for nurses. There was one nurse taking care of 5-6 patients in night shift, it could be a lot for nurse as well as patients for which it is difficult to wait when they are in pain or discomfort. 2. The vegetarian food was bad. It was also very small in quantity. This could be improved: maybe provide more dairy options like yogurt, milk, etc. to patients so that they can regain their stamina after surgery.

Shelley: Ok but lacking in compassion and efficiency. I came in via the ER based on my GP’s advice so I had nothing but the clothes on my back. I’m on HRT and somehow a major hospital in a major city was unable to secure my meds. Predictably, my hormone levels ended up totally out of whack. Most of the nurses and doctors were very good, but one night as I was literally crying in pain (I was in for severe abdominal pain) a nurse made me wait 1.5 hours for pain meds after he said “5 minutes’”
