"Sphere" restaurant: Dine at high altitude with Berlin at your feet

The revolving restaurant of the TV Tower is located 207 meters above the ground and 4 meters above the observation platform of the Fernsehturm. The peculiarity is its continuous rotation: the sphere that houses it, in fact, takes an hour to make a complete 360-degree turn, offering a unique view, with the whole of Berlin as the backdrop to your meal.

During the day the environment is extremely bright, in the evening soft lighting creates a sophisticated atmosphere. There kitchen it is the typical Berlin one but they are not lacking international, seasonal specialties and vegan or vegetarian options.

Eating at the TV Tower Restaurant: Tickets and Options

Keep in mind that to go up and eat at the Sphere restaurant it is necessary to buy an entrance ticket to the TV Tower, with access to the viewing platform, which also includes the table reservation.

There are several options for lunch or dinner at the Fernsehturm restaurant: you can buy a Skip-the-line entrance ticket to the TV Tower with table booked at the restaurant (you choose if placed next to the windows or in the innermost ring) but with meals and drinks to be paid for separately. Alternatively, there is instead the ticket that already includes in the price both the rapid entry to the Tower and lunch or dinner.

The reservation must be done online well in advance so as not to risk being sold out for the date you want.

Skip-the-line entrance and "Champagne Breakfast"

If you have other plans for lunch and dinner, you can start your day in style with a panoramic breakfast about Berlin and a glass of champagne. This option also allows you to skip the queue at the ticket office and go directly to the observation platform and restaurant.

  • Generally breakfast includes tastings of marinated salmon, smoked pork tenderloin, fruit, a glass of champagne as well as the classics milk, coffee and fruit juices.


Bar 203: The highest bar in Berlin!

Those who simply want have a drink or eat a quick snack you can stop at Bar 203 of the TV Tower, the highest rooftop bar in Berlin, which offers a wide selection of cocktails, drinks and sandwiches. The view over the Mitte district is, of course, unparalleled. The bar closes at 23pm and Happy Hour is scheduled every day from 30pm to 14pm.

Access to Bar 203 on the viewing platform is included in the standard entrance ticket at the TV Tower.
